Love From Another Life

Chapter 3: Bob's first day

That night, Sideshow Bob was asleep on Rebecca's couch. He was dreaming now, it was about him and her. He had took her to Toronto, and they were standing in front of Niagra Falls. She says to him, "This is beautiful. You were so kind to invite me along, Bob." He smiles kindly at her, takes her by the hand, and replies, "Of course, my dear. You're the closest friend to me." She kisses him, and this is when he wakes up. He sits up asking, "Why did I dream that?"

The next morning, the two are eating breakfast together. Rebecca notices a slight blush on her friend's cheeks, and so she asks, "What's up, Bob? Why are you blushing? Did you do something embaressing?" He looks up from his plate, looks at her and begins to stutter, "I-I-I-.." He then clears his throat and decides to change the subject.

Later on at about nine AM, Bob and Rebecca are standing outside of a new looking building, and Rebecca tells Bob, "Here we are." Bob puts his hand on her left shoulder, saying with a grin, "Nice. How much was it?" Rebecca chuckles, "A couple hundred bucks." Bob and her go over to the doorway, Bob then opens and holds the door for his friend, telling her, "Ladies first."

After two hours, Bob is at the register, and the Van Houtens enter, "Hello, welcome to Rebecca's Food." Milhouse says, "Hey dad, can we get the special?" One of the waiters walks up and says, "Booth or table?" Kirk tells him that they'd prefer a booth, so they follow him into another room. Bob then looks out the window to see a sparkle. He decides to take a peek at what this could be.

He exits the building, soon seeing a pair of binoculars, and the one holding them is his arch-nemesis, Bart. Bart gasps as the man walks up, "What are you doing here?" Bob asks. Bart says, "Spying on you, man!" Bob growls and tells the young boy, "What must I do to prove that I'm good now?"
