Hello everyone! It has been quite a while since I even looked at this story all that much, however, with this year's National Novel Writing Month right around the corner, I decided to look into rewriting this story. Mainly thanks to finally watching the new Macross Delta movie and then making the mistake of reading ajw's own Robotech stories. I then looked over the written chapters of this story, some notes I still had for the future of the story, and what I had written for its sequel. And I was not all that impressed with it. Mostly, with the human-vs-human subplot of the SDF-1/RDF going against the United Earth Government Defense Council. I now believe that it was a very stupid thing to do, both myself as the author and the Defense Council in the story itself. Hence, my plan on rewriting it. Shrug.
So before I actually go through with this planned rewrite, I thought I should reach out to the readers of the original story to see what they think about this idea. Mostly if they want an actual rewrite or just have me try to get back into writing the story and do a rewrite later when I complete the story. Though the latter might be harder to do than I wish it would be. Shrug. Just being honest with that.
