Firing round after round of each of the guns he'd acquired from Tomoko and the others, Keiji would also make sure that if there were any melee weapons, he was certain he'd use them, too.

By now, he was completely soaked by the rain. It was coming down hard, but it didn't deter him.

The brown-haired man was fueled with a desire, but not just a desire to find Kanami and Takagi, but a desire to take out Mori and escape the island with the duo.

Just then, he heard the sound of footsteps a few miles away. When he finally took notice, Keiji's mouth dropped.

"Whirlwind?" he asked.

Indeed, a man in a fairly drenched guard uniform with purple hair had stood before him. "Yes, that's me."

"But...how'd you get here?" Keiji inquired.

"It's a pretty long story, but..."

As Whirlwind was offered his lunch for the day, his eyes looked around the cafeteria. He knew that he was tired of being in Ayatsuji's captivity for long, thus he hatched an escape plan.

His blue eyes kept their attention to one of the guards, who was in the middle of having a cigarette and wasn't watching him. The bodyguard silently put down his food and began to slowly approach from behind, not bothering to get caught.

Whirlwind's hands then reached for the back of the guard's neck, and...crunch! The sound of it being broke caused the guard to hit the ground, and Whirlwind took the opportunity to steal and wear everything guard had worn.

Now clad completely in uniform, Whirlwind infiltrated the area to see where his weapons were stored. He had also made sure no one could see him, as his stealth was top-notch after years of experience.

Eventually, he found one of the quarters belonging to another guard or two, and he looked in surprise. His katana was hung up neatly on the wall, and with quick thinking, he made sure to take it down, sheath and all.

Exiting the quarters, he would choose to blend in with the guards. As he approached one of them, Whirlwind heard him ask, "That's a gorgeous katana you're wielding. Where'd ya get it?"

"From a very skilled fighter." he replied, his voice shrill instead of its usual deepness.

"Heh, very good. I bet you wanna practice using it to appease Miss Ayatsuji, no?"

"Perhaps."

Whirlwind then left him, and continued his way out of the building.

Finally after some time, he reached the front doors. Making sure no one was around, he then kicked one of the doors open.

At last, Whirlwind found his way out, without anyone detecting him. Though it was clear that the security cameras had caught every move the suspicious-looking 'guard' had made during the process...

"And that's how you broke out?" Keiji asked.

"Yes."

"But what if people are hunting you down?"

"I do not care; besides, I will cut them down like the foul swine they clearly are." Whirlwind said.

Keiji smiled, before giving the older man a hug. He was truly overjoyed that his bodyguard would do whatever it took to get out, and reunite with him, if possible.

"I have some allies in the form of Kanami and Takagi, and I suggest you see them with me." he said.

"Allies? Sounds like you had yourself a plan, after all. I'm coming with you." the bodyguard replied.

The duo would then leave, also taking the duffel bag of weapons with them.

Keigo finally arrived at an abandoned factory, and as he stopped, he checked the map. He knew he was in the right area, but he was certain it would also be dangerous, as well.

He got off the bicycle, and due to the rain, was all soaked to the skin. As he entered the building, he chose to his detector to see if there was anyone else inside.

"Mizuki...where are you?" he said quietly.

Keigo had searched high and low for Mizuki, and the factory would prove to the final area she could possibly be. His breath steady, he searched with the detector, until he heard a beep.

He went to find the location where the beep was heard, and to his surprise, it was Mizuki. Her favorite kimono was fairly wet from the rain, and had a bit of dirt on it, too.

"Mizuki...are you allright?" he asked.

The black-haired girl just shuddered, her eyes all wide with fear. Keigo could tell she didn't want to speak or anything like that.

"Mizuki...answer me!" he said with his voice raised up a bit.

Suddenly, Mizuki screamed as she raised her Glock 9MM at him. Firing all her bullets until they were exhausted, Keigo had taken hit after hit, before he collapsed to the ground.

"M-Mizuki, get out...!" he exclaimed.

"Huh?" she asked, trembling with shock.

"There's...someone else in the factory, so you must escape...!" he muttered.

Mizuki suddenly realized what she had done and ran over to Keigo, who was clearly on death's door.

"Aoyama? Oh my god...is that you? I'm sorry...I'm so sorry!" she said as her lips trembled.

"Mizuki...I'm sorry, too."

"I didn't mean to kill you...I'm sorry, Aoyama!" Mizuki cried as she ran her fingers through his long hair.

"Oh, Mizuki...I wished to protect you, but you didn't listen to me and just shot me down..." he whispered.

"Aoyama...I wanted you to protect me from harm, too. But, it's too late!" she said, before she started crying.

"Mizuki...I love you." he said, raising his hand to stroke her face.

"I-I love you, too...I always have and I always will! I love you, Keigo!" Mizuki cried out.

Upon hearing those words, Keigo managed to smile through some unshed tears, before he would finally pass away. The girl was left alone, and continued to cry.

"What have I done?" she questioned herself continuously through her tears.

But to make matters even worse, a voice rang out.

"Game over, bitch."

Just as Mizuki turned her head to find out where the voice came from, she was shot several times, before collapsing on top of Keigo. Before long, the owner of the voice approached the dead couple.

The voice...was Ibuki Sakai.
