I'm being called to the hall. From what i heard. There was a beautiful reunion in the infirmary. I smiled about it. I entered the main hall to find jeralt arguing with rhea. Guess he's not happy about the fact that rhea hid that sitri was alive again. As he exited the room. Rhea glared at me.
"Why did you tell jeralt? I thought i made it clear that sitri was meant to be a secret. Until she recovered." rhea said.
"An order I chose to ignore. I get that sitri is frail. But her having a heart attack over seeing her husband is just ridiculous. And screams that you're paranoid. Now i need to get ready for our next mission. So would you excuse me?" i asked. As i left the room.
"I'm not done with you boy! Will it harm you to listen to the advice of others!?" rhea yelled.
"Take your own advice, mama's girl. You'd make less psychopathic and boneheaded decisions if you did." I said. As I left the room. I could literally feel the anger aimed at me. After that, The month passed. And we all got to know sitri. She really is a kind woman. She also likes hearing our stories. She mostly comes to me to hear about my stories of helping people in the empire. Guess she really likes hero stories. But she really likes talking to flayn. Guessing flayn see's her as the mother she lost. And they both spent most of their lives locked up in this monastery. A week before the mission. Once again. Another blue lion was distressed about the mission. And this time. It was sylvain.
"What now?" i asked.
"Sylvians brother. Miklan stole the lance of ruin. A hero's relic." athro said.
"Which means getting it back is our next mission. Which most likely means taking from his cold dead hands?" i asked.
"No…his hands will be cold…but they won't be dead…i'll make sure of that." athro said.
"Thanks athro." sylvain said with a sad smile.
"That's it? No flirting or lewd joke?" i asked.
"Not really in the mood…" sylvain said sadly. Ingrid looked at me with a disapproving look. The week past by. And the day came for us to head to the conand tower. And deal with miklain. And to my shock. The archer's we're taking down by bernadetta. Great sothis. She's become one hell of a shot. I also gave hubert a cheeky grin when i saw him blushing. Good to see that's he got a girl in his life. Even though i don't get why bernie would fall for him but hey. Good to see hubert actually getting a life. Now if only monica could. We entered the tower. And fought miklan's rouges. Nothing special. Besides a few monks and armored knights. It was your usual rogue gallery of thieves and brigands. Armed with iron weapons. Nothing we couldn't handle. We reached miklan. Athro was the first to confront him.
"I don't want to kill sylvain's brother. So just hand over the lance." athro said.
"The prince's right hand. You think i'd hand over the lance because some spoiled child asked me too?" miklan asked.
"You have no idea what i've been through. Might want to check someone's history before you call them a spoiled child. You envious prick!" athro yelled. As she charged at miklan alongside sylvain and ingrid. Who beat him down easily.
"Not bad for your kind…a bunch of spoiled rotten children!" miklan yelled. However the lance soon glew red. And black goo came from it. Completely swallowing up miklan. And turning into a huge monster. The rogues ran for their lives.
"What is that? It's some sort of nightmare come to life." sylvain said. The beast swiped at sylvain. But got pushed out of the way by ingrid. The beast tried to eat them but was stopped by athro stabbing it in the eye. And shujinko putting one of his dan tien daos into it's other eye. Blinding it. I than charged my axe with light magic and with one swing. Decapitating the beast. It soon turned back. Miklan laid on the ground. dead. With the lance next to him.
"Didn't expect that…let's grab the lance and get out of here." i said.
"Miklan…my brother." Sylvain said. Tears going down his eyes. Ingrid comforting him. We left the place behind and went to sylvains home to rest. We explained the situation and we were allowed to stay. I saw ingrid going after sylvain. He really didn't want to talk to his dad right now. I went to bed myself. It's been a long day…
Late at night/shujinko pov.
I woke up to the sound of someone walking through the hall. I opened and saw marianne walking to the front door. I followed her.
"Shh…we need to leave." marianne whispered to her horse.
"And where are you going?" i asked. Marianne turned around with a startle.
"I—i don't know…but it better for everyone if i leave." marianne said. As she tried to get on her horse. But i grabbed her shoulders and forced her to look at me.
"And why is that?" i said. My face serious.
"My crest…it's cursed…if i stick around…i'll only bring misfortune to everyone. So it's best if i leave." marianne said. With tears in her eyes. She tried to get out of my grip. But i wouldn't let her.
"Than i guess it's a damned if you do. Damned if you don't situation. Because if you left…all of us would miss you…claude would miss you…hilda would definitely miss you…i would miss you. That's why i won't let you leave…whatever this curse is…i'll deal with it…no cursed crest is worth losing you." i said. Marianne than blushed and put her hands to her mouth.
"Shujinko…" marianne said. She then hugged me. I then looked into her eyes. And kissed her. We pulled away for air. "That was my…first kiss…but i thought you were with hilda…" marianne said.
"Funny story about that…" i said. I then explained about how hilda was willing to share me with lysithea. So there could be room for her.
"Oh…" marianne said. With a blush.
"I hope you don't mind sharing me." i said.
"Not at all…actually. I have feelings for hilda as well…so i'm actually glad." marianne said with a blush. When i heard that. My mind got an incredibly sexy image. Of hilda and marianne making out with each other on a bed completely naked. And beckoning me to join them. "My crest is already effecting you…your nose is bleeding." marianne said.
"That's not your crest…it's my perverted brain." i said. I soon walked back into the estate with marianne by my side. The next morning came. And we headed back to the monastery. I explained what happen with marianne to hilda and lysithea.
"I promise she will be the last one." i said.
"Any bit of happiness that marianne can get is for the better. She clearly needs it." lysithea said.
"Who knew she also had feelings for me too. When she revealed that to you. Did an image of steamy girl on girl action?" hilda teased with a wink.
"Yes…" i said with a blush. Hilda laughed.
"You perv!...but give us a couple years…and your fantasy will come true." hilda whispered into my ear. I fell to the ground from a jetstream of blood from my nose. "Oopsie. Looks like i went overboard." hilda said.
"Your lewdness succeeded where the sharpened blade failed." lysithea said with a sweatdrop.
Black eagle classroom/natsu pov.
As I returned to my studies. I can't help but be pissed. By yet another boneheaded decision by rhea. She wanted all of us to keep what happened to Miklan a secret. Because people would apparently lose faith in the nobles if they found out. Honestly. That just proves that rhea has her head in the sand. If she actually looked to the real world. And saw how the nobles use that faith. She probably wouldn't have a problem with them losing it. But then again. I know that the mama's girl looks at humans with nothing but prejudice and contempt. This will change down the line. But for right now. Gotta focus on the next escapade. The next thing is flayn getting kidnapped. But who is going to be there is the real question. After all. Edelgard isn't the flame emperor this time around. So who is going to be in the place of jeritza this time? I suppose only time will tell.
Garreg mach hallway/athro pov.
As I walked down the hallway. I noticed sylvain and ingrid having a conversation. I listened in. i couldn't really hear anything thanks to all the other students walking around. And talking. But when ingrid kissed sylvain. I knew what was going on. I arm pumped.
"You go girl!" i yelled. As i walked back to class. Nice to see she finally confessed. And it looks like Sylvain accepted. Glad to see those two are an item now. Ingrid's family will be happy. But that's far into the future to worry about. Got flayn's kidnapping to worry about right now. I wonder who will take jeritza's place…and "Monica." most likely won't be there…after all. They know natsu can sniff through their disguises so sending in an agarthan disguised as a student will just end in failure. Only time will tell I suppose.
