THE COMPETITOR
Summary: When men set sail to the sea, they want to be acknowledged by their friends or they family that they're strong enough to live on their own. In this great pirate era, Men go out to the sea seeking the biggest treasure ever that left behind by the former Pirate King, Gol.D.Roger so they can become the next Pirate King. However, the journey to be the King of Pirate is not easy and they have to risk everything, including their life.

Chapter 4
Naruto managed to land his punch in Shank's face which made Shank was thrown away. This made Lucky Roux and Yassop widened his eyes in shocked and quickly pointing their guns towards Naruto.
"You damn sissy! What do you think you're doing!?" Lucky Roux shouted.
"Better apologize to my captain or you will bear all the consequences!" Yassop said.
Naruto took out a cigarette and lit up. "Come, three of you at once. I'm in a very bad mood right now and I don't mind if I destroy this whole island in order sending you all to hell." Naruto said.
On the other side, Doflamingo's eyes widened as he saw Naruto managed to sent Shanks flying like that. 'This boy, he's not an ordinary boy. He's able to control his haki in his young age and to think he can punch one of the greates pirate like that, he could become a monster one day.' Doflamingo thought.
Mihawk felt the tense is rising up as he saw Yassop and Lucky Roux didn't stop staring at Naruto. This could be a huge battle and he wasn't sure if Naruto could win against Shanks.
"Oohhh.. shit.. That was hurt, you know?" Shanks chuckled and got up slowly.
"It was and if you want something more painful, I can give you another punch." Naruto said.
"Hahahaha! Really? How about I return your kindness earlier before you punch me again?" Shanks said.
"Huh?" Naruto tilted his head.
Shanks took out his sword quickly and he ran towards Naruto. Naruto smiled and ready to block the attack but his eyes widened as he felt a monstrous aura from Shanks.
"KAMUSARI!"

"Uaghhhhhh!"
There was a black lightning surrounding Shanks sword and he managed to slash Naruto on his chest.
Naruto coughed some blood and this time he was the one who thrown away. The slash was very powerful and enough to make Naruto's clothes ripped and a huge scar on his chest.
"YEAH! EAT THAT YOU BLONDIE!" Lucky Roux shouted in joy.
"Captain, don't you think you're overdoing it?" Yassop asked.
"Nope, he's going back soon. Just see." Shanks smiled.
"Anyway, what are you doing here, Taka no Me?" Lucky Roux asked.
"Trying to find my own destiny." Mihawk answered.
"Hah? What do you mean?" Yassop asked.
"Don't tell me that you've decided to create your own pirate's crew?" Shanks asked.
"Yes and no. It's true that I'm no longer travelling by myself, but I decided to join someone's crew." Mihawk answered.
"Wow, it's quite surprising." Yassop said.
"Wait! You're joining Donquixote Pirate!?" Luck Roux asked.
"No." Mihawk answered.
"Then who?" Shanks asked.
"The man who just punched you 2 minutes ago and the one who you slashed earlier." Mihawk answered.
The Red Haired Pirates dropped their jaws in shocked and couldn't believe what they just heard.
"The fuck..." Yassop muttered.
"Prepare yourself guys, this is the beginning of the end. We're going to face the judgement day." Lucky Roux said.
"Hahahaha! You're better at joking now." Shanks laughed.
Meanwhile, Naruto slowly got up and smirked at Shanks. "That was hurt..."
Shanks narrowed his eyes as he saw the wound on Naruto's chest regenerated quickly. "Devil fruit, huh?"
"Mihawk! Doflamingo! You can kill those two but let me fight that red guy. It's time for me to show my true power." Naruto smirked.
Mihawk and Doflamingo nodded and turned their gazes towards Yassop and Lucky Roux. Mihawk took out his sword and pointed it towards Lucky Roux while Doflamingo started moving his fingers and ready to attack Yassop.
"I'm sorry but we're enemies right now." Mihawk said.
"I didn't expect that my first fight in this pirate is one of Red Haired Pirates." Doflamingo.
Yassop took out a pistol and pointed it at Doflamingo. "Well, we don't have any choice."
"Wait! If I think about it, why should we fight here!?" Lucky Roux said.
"MOKUTON: JUKAI KOUTAN!"
Naruto put his palm on the ground and created a dense growth of trees. Shanks and his crews were surprised by Naruto's ability and even Mihawk and Doflamingo gasped in awe.
"H-He's creating trees!?" Lucky Roux shouted.
"Not trees! But forest!" Yassop said.
The trees' life force was immense enough to split the earth as they sprout and further pierce through any other obstructions they encounter.
This growth was moving towards Shanks, trying to capture him. However, Shanks sliced the growth using his sword.
"HEY! STOP THIS AND LET ME TALK FOR A SECOND!" Shanks shouted.
Hearing that, Naruto took his palm from the ground and the growth stopped chasing him.
"What?" Naruto asked.
"Geeezz.. Why should we fight? Did do something wrong to you?" Shanks asked.
"How dare you still asking about that! You-" Naruto was stopped and thinking about it. Naruto rolled his eyes and started thinking that Shanks didn't do anything wrong. "Ehm? Right. Why did I attack you? What's the reason?"
"Stupid." Mihawk said.
"Hahahahahahah!" Shanks laughed as he sheathed his sword back. "I didn't know that you're Mihawk's friend. My name is Shanks by the way."
"Then why didn't you ask? Naruto, by the way." Naruto said.
"What? What's your name again?" Shanks asked.
"Naruto, Ich heiße Naruto. Kannst du mich nicht hören?" Naruto said.
"What the fuck did he just say?" Yassop said.
"Uhm? Alien words?" Lucky Roux shrugged.
However, Shanks widened his eyes as he heard the language that Naruto just spoken. "Y-You speak that language too? Does it mean you are from Wehrmacht?"
"But I'm sure you're not from Wehrmacht, we don't have red hair there." Naruto said.
"I've been there before, a lot of of blue eyes and blond hair there and of course, the language is very unique. My former captain loves that kingdom." Shanks smiled.
"Ok! Stop the fight and let's talk about my homeland. I would like to ask you to came to my ship, along with your crews." Naruto smiled.
"Actually, I the one who would like to invite you to my ship. We have a lot of food and booze and we can have a party there." Shanks smiled.
"Kein problem. Mihawk, Doflamingo, let's go to his ship." Naruto smiled.
"You go first, I'm going to tell my men about my decision to join your pirate's crew." Doflamingo said.
"Ok. You join, don't you?" Naruto said to Mihawk.
"I do." Mihawk said.
"Good! Come on then! Let's go to Red Force!" Shanks said.

Naruto and Mihawk followed Shanks to his ship and they were having a party there. This party held to celebrate Naruto and Shanks encounter.
Shanks's crew welcomed Naruto very warmly and they served a lot of food for their guests.
"Come on! These aren't poisonous." Shanks said.
"I didn't know that you have a lot of men here. How can you manage all of them?" Naruto asked while eating a schnitzel.
"Not a big deal, just invite them to the ship and once they know who's the captain, they will behave themselves very well." Shanks said.
"So, you two are friends or what?" Naruto asked as he looked at Mihawk.
"No." Mihawk said.
"Hey! How could say that!? We have known eachother for 5 years and we fought a lot!" Shanks said.
"That's why I said we aren't friend." Mihawk said.
"Don't listen to him, he's just a little bit shy when it comes to acknowledge our bonds." Shanks smiled.
"He's not a talkative person, but he slashes a lot, hahahaha!" Naruto laughed.
"So anyway, how's Wehrmacht? I heard it was destroyed by The Government 3 years ago." Shanks said.
"I left Wehrmacht when I was 14 and it was 4 years ago so I wasn't present when the tragedy happened. However, I knew that The Government would destroy Wehrmacht because a lot of intelegent people there. Just like Ohara, but more brutal." Naruto said.
"More brutal because they fought back. This tragedy killed around 3 millions Marine Soldiers and 4 millions The Wehrmacht." Shanks said.
"The Government was lucky at the time, If I was there, it could be The Government that would be destroyed." Naruto said.
"I'm very confused of Wehrmacht people. Why are they obessed of world domination?" Shanks asked.
"You said your former captain have visited Wehrmacht right? What his opinion about that?" Naruto asked.
"He said The Wehrmacht could be the trouble for the world because of their invention. The people there thought they were the chosen one and the strongest one." Shanks said.
"Civilization. That's what the Wehrmacht wants. A good civilization. We've invented many things and they are claimed by the Government." Naruto said.
"Are you talking about Vegapunk?" Shanks asked.
"He's a traitor to Wehrmacht people. I don't know how much he gets paid by the government but still, he's Wehrmacht's public enemy. He was raised there but decided to join the Government for a werid project." Naruto said.
"My former captain once said, don't give Wehrmacht the power, or they will destroy the world. Do you agree on that statement?" Shanks asked.
"It looks like you really idolize your former captain and believe whatever he told you. Or maybe, you're trying to find who really I am and if you feel I'm dangerous, you're ready to kill me. However, it depends on your point of view. What's bad and what's good? Nowadays, bad is categorised as people who don't agree with the government and good is when the people obey whatever the government tells them to do. You know what kind of Wehrmacht people, they like to think freely and they know the truth. But the problem is, The world can't stand the truth, how pathetic and pitiful when they put the blame on us instead." Naruto said.
"I hate to say this but this is a very interesting conversation." Mihawk said.
"That's why my former captain afraid of you people, hahahaha. But you're wrong, I don't have intention to kill you, especially you're the captain of my best friend." Shanks said.
"So, what are you doing here? I know you, Red Haired Shanks. People say you're one of the greatest pirates in the new world and the candidate of... Uhm, Kou? Onkou? What is it called?" Naruto said.
"Yonkou." Mihawk said.
"AH! Yonkou." Naruto smiled.
"Oh? Yonkou huh? I'm not interested of that. They can call me whatever they want but I'm going to live my life according to my way. Party and Adventure." Shanks smiled.
"So, what are you doing here?" Mihawk asked.
"Taking a break. We're heading to East Blue and maybe we'll find something there." Shanks said.
"East Blue, eh? The weakest sea but the place where the legends were born." Naruto smiled.
"Exatcly. New world is a fucking riot and I need to calm myself down and East Blue is the greates place to do that." Shanks smiled.
"I'll go there one day, but if I already conquer the new world." Naruto smiled.
"A conquest, huh? So you want to be a pirate king?" Shanks smiled.
"I've read a lot of books and I found out that 'pirate king' is Gold Roger's nickname. Like you, Red Haired, or Edward Newgate with Shirohige. I don't want to steal someone's nickname, especially a legend like him. I want to be known as Namikaze D Naruto, not the pirate king. But, surely, I'm going to find the One Piece." Naruto smiled.
Naruto then stood up and took out a cigarette and lit it up. "Thanks for the food but I guess I have to leave now."
"As do we. We're going to continue our journey to East Blue." Shanks smiled.
"Let's go Mihawk." Naruto said.
"Go first, I need to talk with this man." Mihawk said.
"Ok, I'll be on the ship and I will try find information about sky island." Naruto smiled.
Naruto was about to leave until he heard someone'singing. "Hn? Is someone singing?"
"That must be Uta." Shanks said.
"What is Uta?" Naruto asked.
"UTA! COME HERE!" Shanks called Uta.
Naruto turned around and saw a little girl was running towards Shanks. "Oh, that's Uta."
A little girl with half red and white hair and surely she had a very beautiful voice. But Naruto had a different thoughts inside his head.
"Little girl, are you red haired crew?" Naruto asked.
"I am. The singer of Red Haired Pirates, Uta." Uta smiled.
Naruto turned his gaze towards Shanks and narrowed his eyes. "Is it legal to recruit a little girl like her? She's maybe 7 but she's already a pirate."
"It's better for her to be here. What do think if I leave her alone?" Shanks asked.
"She could be a... prostitute, whatever. Anyway..." Naruto took out a doll and gave it to Uta. "This doll called voodo, you can kill anyone through this doll by stabbing its head."
"DON'T GIVE SOMETHING DANGEROUS TO A KID!" Lucky Roux and Yassop shouted.
SRING!
However, Naruto suddenly vanished and left Shanks and Mihawk there. Uta still looked at the door with amazement and Roux and Yassop tried to take the doll away from her.
"You know what, I still can't believe that you join that man." Shanks said.
"The first time I met him, I know that he's going to be the wave crasher. His thoughts, his speech, his strength, and his spirit have told me that one day, he's destined to be someone who will threat the Government." Mihawk said.
"You trust him, don't you? He's a monster, I admit it." Shanks said.
"Do you know what is his devil fruit?" Mihawk asked.
Shanks nodded and looked up to the sky. "Ah, the strongest Zoan. If the government knows about him, then you should prepare to be hunted all the times."
"That's why I decided to join him. I want to see how far he will go and what kind of change is he going to make?" Mihawk said.

"NOO DOFFY! WHY DO YOU JOIN HIM!?"
Doflamingo was in his bar and it looked there was a man shouting at him. He was Trebol, one of his executive and his others men were there as well like Diamante, Signor Pink, Monet, Bufallo, and Baby 5.
"Trebol, I've thought about it and this is my best decision. This man is not an ordinary man and I tell you he's going to make something big in the future, a rebellion against the Government." Doflamingo said.
"I won't questioning your decision, but what will happen to us? Are we joining him as well or The Donquixote Pirate is disbanded?" Diamante.
"No! Don't disband this group!" Baby 5 and Buffalo said in Union.
"Don't be ridiculous, I'll never disband my own family and this something that I'm going to ask you all. Do you all want to join me or stay on another place?" Doflamingo asked.
"But we're planning to take over the Dressrosa Kingdom. Are we still going with that plan, Doffy? If you join his crew, it means you're no longer a captain and you need his permission to do that." Monet said.
"He's planning to conquer every kingdom in the new word and it means he's going to conquer Dressrosa too. I don't have his permission because we have a same goal." Doflamingo said.
"Doffy, you seem trust this man so much. Is he very strong or are you under his threat right now?" Signor Pink asked.
"Hehehehe.. No..." Doflamingo laughed. "Because he's the only one who can fulfill my dreams."
"If you say so. But I choose to stay on another place because I doubt that he will welcome us as his crew." Diamante said.
"I go with Diamante." Monet said.
"I-I think I want to go with you, Young Boss." Baby 5 said.
"I'll follow Baby 5." Bufallo said.
"It will be decided based on your decision, Signor Pink." Doflamingo said.
"I'll go with Diamante and Monet." Signor Pink said.
"WHAT!? WE CAN LEAVE YOUNG BOSS TO A MYSTERIOUS MAN LIKE HIM!" Baby 5 and Bufallo shouted.
"Ok then. You can stay on Saboady and wait for me there. I don't know what's he's planning to do right now but surely he will arrive at Saboady sooner or later." Doflamingo said.
"Ah, Disco said that he is asked to search a mermaid by The Tenryuubito." Diamante said.
"How much they will pay?" Doflamingo asked.
"200 million berries." Diamante said.
"Tell the Tenryuubito to wait. I'm going to find a mermaid and it's easier for me if travel all around the Grandline with him." Doflamingo said.
"I'm going to call Disco immediately." Diamante nodded.
"Ah, tell Vergo that the plan has changed. Also tell him about Namikaze D Naruto. I want to know the details about him." Doflamingo said.

Naruto and Mihawk were already on the ship and preparing to set sail.
"So what do you have?" Mihawk asked.
"Nothing, absolutely nothing. Maybe we should give up about the sky island and go to another island." Naruto said.
"I had a little conversation with Shanks earlier and he told me about the sky island." Mihawk said.
"Really? What did he tell you?" Naruto asked.
"Sky island does exist." Michael said.
Naruto smiled and happy with that information. "Right! So how can we get there!?"
"That's the problem. There's something called knock up stream that will shoot the ship upwards to the sky." Mihawk said.
"I started to feel bad about it. Continue please." Naruto said.
"Unfortunately this knock up stream thing only happens once per five months." Mihawk said.
"No, that's not the problem, I can make this ship levitating until towards the galaxy if you want but we're going to die after that because lack of oxygen." Naruto said.
"Then we go." Mihawk said.
"The problem is, where this knock up stream takes place? The accurate location of the knock up stream?" Naruto asked.
"Near. I know the location." Mihawk said.
"Then let's go. But wait for Doflamingo. Maybe he's convincing his men to joins us right now." Naruto said.
"Talking about Doflamingo, do you know he's one of the strongest rookie pirates, right?" Mihawk asked.
"Yeah, warum, I mean why?" Naruto asked.
"It means he has a bounty, so do I, but you haven't a bounty yet. What's your plan to get your first bounty?" Mihawk asked.
"That is something I'm thinking about. Actually, I'm thinking to defeat all the the pirates excluding my own crew and after that, we're going to invade The Holy Land. I'm sure they will put the highest price on my head." Naruto said.
"Invade the Holy Land? That's the craziest thing I've heard so far." Mihawk said.
Naruto and Mihawk looked up as they felt something above him and they saw Doflamingo was flying towards them. He landed on the ship with two suitcases.
"I'm ready... Captain." Doflamingo smiled.
"What the hell is inside that suitcase?" Naruto asked.
"My stuff, what else?" Doflamingo said.
"If it is money, you better to hide from this Dracula, he maybe looks like a cold guy, but trust me, he loves money." Naruto smiled.
"Am I looking like a gold digger?" Mihawk asked.
Naruto just smiled and he stepped forwards. "All right boys, first of all, I would like to welcome my new guy here, named Doflamingo, so welcome to this bloody crew and we're going to the sky island now. Mihawk knows how the way we can get there so prepare yourself." Naruto said.
"Sky island? This is interesting." Doflamingo said.
Mihawk walked towards the ship's wheel and he started to steer the ship. The ship slowly moved and leaving the island, heading towards the location where the knock up stream was.

(Later)
Naruto Pirates were already on the location where the knock up stream was going to happen. It located on the middle of the sea and the weather suddenly change. The sky turned dark and a lot of thunder.
"Fucking hell! This is amazing!" Naruto smiled.
"So, how can we shoot this ship towards the sky?" Doflamingo asked.
Mihakw turned his gaze towards Naruto and waiting what will Naruto do about that.
"Dofffy, wait here and be ready. Mihawk, you're not a devil fruit user, right? Help me get into the sea." Naruto said.
Mihakw nodded and he took off his sword from back and jumped into the water.
"Ich komme!"
Naruto also jumped into the water and Mihawk caught him so he won't sink.
"Bring me into the water." Naruto said.
Mihawk then started to dive while carrying Naruto. Naruto pointed at the hull of his ship and Mihawk swam towards it. Naruto then pointed his palm towards the hull and...
"SHINRA TENSEI!"
KABOOM!
Naruto then launched his attack again which made the ship shot towards the sky. Naruto grabbed Mihakw by his collar and he jumped upwards towards his ship.
"Yeah!! How about that!?" Naruto smirked as landed on the ship with Mihawk.
"You're crazy!!" Doflamingo shouted.
The ship was shot towards the sky and kept going upwards. The three of them held onto the pole to prevent them being thrown out of the ship.
"Heheheheh! You're such a crazy boy!" Doflamingo laughed.
"You should've warned us about this!" Even Mihawk annoyed.
"JUST ENJOY YOUR TRIP TO THE SKY BOYS!" Naruto shouted happily.
The ship kept going upwards and they already through some clouds. The three looked up and saw a massive cloud above them and the ship was going towards it and they weren't sure if the ship can go through that cloud.
BOOM!
Fortunately, the ship managed to pass through the cloud and finally, they arrived at the sky island.
"Fuck... I think I've experienced the best thing as a pirate." Doflamingo said.
"Ja, du hast recht. Das war sehr beängstigend. Aber es scheint, wir sind im gelobten Land angekommen." Naruto said while looking around and found that the ship sailing on the cloud, not the water.
"You really love to make us wondering what exactly you're saying, don't you? None of us can understand your language." Mihawk said.
"I said, it seems we have arrived at the promised land. But take a look guys, can you believe it? We're above the sky right now." Naruto smiled.
"Take a look at there..." Mihawk said.
There was a big gate and it written heaven's gate and the ship was moving towards that 'heaven's gate'.
"Heaven's gate, eh? I start to think we're actually dead when passed through the cloud." Naruto said.
BONG!
"AUGGHHHHHH!!!" Naruto screamed in pain as he felt his head getting hit. He turned around and saw Mihawk was swinging his sword. "What the fuck was that!?"
"Helping you to realise that you're not dead yet." Mihawk said.
"Heh! Ja! Ja! Ja! Du Schlappschwanz." Naruto muttered.
"Will you stop act immaturely, captain? Because we're going to pass through the gate." Doflamingo said.
Naruto sighed and he nodded. He turned his gaze towards north and saw the ship was about to enter the gate. He also saw there were two men standing in front of the gates and it looked they were waiting for him.
"STOP THERE!" One of the guards shouted.
Naruto looked back at Doflamingo and Mihawk. "How can we stop this ship? It doesn't have a brake system."
"Leave it to me." Doflamingo said.
Doflamingo moved his fingers and suddenly the ship stopped moving. Naruto was amazed by this and was about to ask how Doflamingo did that but he got interrupted by the guards.
"Welcome to Skypiea. I assume this your first time visiting this island and you come from blue sea, right?" One of the guards asked.
"Yeah, this is our first time and yeah... We're from blue sea. But I don't even know where the blue sea is." Naruto said.
"Blue sea is the place where the sea is blue." The guard said.
"Hehe, that explains a lot. But do you know every 60 seconds, a minute passes?" Naruto asked.
"No, Naruto. Look, the sea is not blue, but white." Mihawk asked.
Naruto looked down and he just realised what the guard was implying to. It looked like there were no blue sea water in this island.
"Tut mir leid. So, can I explore this beautiful island?" Naruto asked.
"We welcome everyone who wants to visit the Skypiea. But, you have to pay the entrance ticket." The guard said.
"Say the number." Naruto said.
"100 million extol." The guard said.
"100 MILLION EXT-Wait, what is extol?" Naruto asked.
"Extol is the currency here." The guard answered.
"No! That's not the problem! 100 million for-" Naruto was stopped as he felt someone's tapping his shoulder and it was Doflamingo. "What?"
"Let me deal with him." Doflamingo said.
Doflamingo then came up to the guards and smiled at them. "We only have berry here."
"It's ok, you can pay 10 million berries because 1 berry equals 10 extol." The guard said.
"What we will get if we pay 10 million berries? Only the tour guide or what?" Doflamingo asked.
"Nope, that's only for the ticket." The guard said.
"Ok." Doflamingo took out some money from his pocket and gave the guard 10 million berries.
"Good. Now, you are allowed to enter the Skypie." The guard said.
"Thank you." Doflamingo smiled. He then turned around and nodded at Naruto.
Naruto also nodded and the ship started moving again and entering the entrance gate.
"I forgot that you're businessman, you must have a lot of money." Naruto smiled.
"The truth is, that wasn't even a real money." Doflamingo said.
"Who cares? They're too stupid to be able recognising if it's a real money or not." Naruto smiled.
"Naruto, I've never been here before and I suggest you to not making any trouble here. At least we need to know who's the ruler of this island." Mihawk said.
"Nah, why are you so worry about it? I'm sure whoever rules this island, he/she is just a rubbish." Naruto said.
"Hehehe, Do you often underestimate your opponent, Captain?" Doflamingo asked.
"No, I don't underestimate anyone here, it's just my assumption. It's hard to reach this island and there's big possiblity that this island has never been touched by the civilization of the blue sea. So, I think only a bunch of people who know about haki or devil fruit here." Naruto said.
"That makes a lot of sense. But still, there's a possibility that the people here have something that we've never seen before." Mihawk said.
"I know that. So, let's see what they've got." Naruto smiled.
