Chapter 3
(Arc Manor; next morning)
After the Huntsmen, the Arc Clan, and teams RWBY and JNPR had dinner, they went to the manor. Jaune and Karen showed them around. Weiss couldn't keep her mouth shut, she made comments about how the manor, even though it was bigger than her family's was a shack that not even animals would live in. Neptune spoke up, "I'm glad I dumped you when I had a chance." Weiss looked appalled, Mary had gone over to him.
"This is the woman who hated Jaune for trying to make her feel good about herself?"
"Yep, oh yeah let me introduce you. This is Weiss Schnee, Weiss this is my, WIFE, Mary." Weiss was in shock, the man she was interested in was married? Also, someone married Arc as well?
Anyway, Jaune, Karen, and Coco were in their office the next morning, going over some papers and reading contracts while having their first cup of coffee. Well, Coco's third, "so who was that wanted to deal with you 'Hershey'?" Asked Jaune.
"Yeah, Versace wants to do a show with me in Milan." She said, Karen whistled.
"You must have impressed him." She said, Jaune nodded. Coco looked at them.
"Um, who is he?" They look at her like she had three heads.
"You don't know who Gianni Versace is?" Said Jaune. He went to grab some magazines and showed them to her.
"He designed my wedding gown." Said Karen.
"He did that?"
"Yep, I commissioned it." Said Jaune. Just then Pyrrha had walked into the room carrying Adrian. She was in a T-shirt, jeans, and slippers. Adrian was in a light blue onesie, "good morning Pyrrha." Then he smiled, "Lil' Man!" He took him from her and hugged him. Karen went over to them.
"How are you doing Dri?" She said Coco went over as well.
"He is freaking adorable!" She said.
"What's up?" Jaune asked, "you guys hungry?" She nodded, "let me guess Mom's in the kitchen with Saff?"
"Yeah, and they can't find anything."
"Come on, Karen wanna help?"
"Sure," she said. So they went to the kitchen and were talking along the way.
(Kitchen)
Rachel and Saff had seen Jaune and the others come into the kitchen. "Good morning, Mom." He said.
"Good morning Sweetheart." She said, she kissed him, Karen, and Adrian.
"What's up, what do you want for breakfast?" Asked Coco. "Mars makes some mean pancakes."
"He does?" Asked Rachel.
"Yep, just tell me what you want in them and I'll make them." He said as Sapphron took Adrian from him.
"What's your specialty?"
"Something I like to call; 'Morning Suicide'."
"Why?" Asked Rachel.
"It's got chocolate chips, sea salt caramel, he mixes butterscotch in the batter, toffee, and pecans." Said Karen.
"I kid you not," said Coco. "It tastes like a pecan pie." Just then Velvet came down.
"Bun Bun!" Said Adrian she smiled at him.
"Going morning Adrian," she said and stole a kiss from him.
"Hey Vel," said Karen. "You've had Morning Suicide before?"
"Uh, just get two cakes. You will be bouncing off the walls." She said.
"That sweet?" Said Rachel.
"Sweet doesn't even begin to explain it."
"Want me to do it?" He asked.
"Make me one."
"One cake?"
"Yeah, if I like it, I'll have another one."
"Okay." So he started to make the 'Deadly' pancake for his Mom, and it was done. He placed it in front of her. "Enjoy."
"No syrup?"
"It'll be too sweet. The pumpkin butter is too much." She tried it and was amazed at how good it was.
"You got to try this," she said to Sapphron. So she did and she was pleased with the taste.
"I can see why you should only have two cakes." She said Karen set a mug of coffee in front of them.
"They are super sweet," said Karen. "I call them 'Jaune Cakes'. Jaune blushed as the others tease him.
"I think we should call them that too." Said Coco.
"I only do them on special occasions." He said. Then the aroma of the food went up through the manor. "So, talk to me, what would you like?"
"Do you have a cake to offset the sweetness?" Asked Pyrrha.
"I know just then thing, 'Saddlebags'."
"Saddlebags?" Said Rachel, Saff, and Pyrrha.
"Oh, they are so good." Said Karen. Jaune made some of them, pancakes with sausage and bacon in them. That was when Ruby, Blake, Winter, and Ren came down.
"Good morning you guys." Said Jaune. Ruby grabbed him from behind.
"Morning bestie," she said.
"There's coffee by the fridge." Said Karen, so they got some, and Jaune was finished with the Saddlebags.
"Pony!" He said and Karen took the plate, then served Pyrrha. "Making pancakes what you want in them?" Rachel cut some of her cake and gave a piece to Ruby.
"Try this!" She said, so Ruby did.
"Holy…!" Said Ruby. "That is Sweet!"
"Um-hmm, that is called; Morning Suicide." Said Sapphron.
"It tastes like pecan pie." She said.
"Yep."
"It's good." Then Jaune smiled.
"I know what to make you," he said. They looked at him and he got to work. Ten minutes later, he was done. "Red Rose!" On the plate were red pancakes with chocolate chips, strawberry sauce with real strawberries in it, and whipped cream. Karen delivered the plate to Ruby. She cut into them and ate.
"WOW!" She said, "They taste like chocolate chip cookies with strawberries."
"Yep, that's what I like to do." He said, then he clapped his hands. "Next?" So this went on for a while, Ren got normal, buttermilk pancakes. Saffron got blueberry pancakes, Terra got brown sugar, Rachel got a buttermilk pancake to offset the 'Suicide', Coco got her normal chocolate, Velvet got carrot pancakes, Karen got apple pancakes, and Adrian got some silver dollar pancakes.
Jaune was snacking on some bacon as they were talking. As the others had come down, they were laughing at some stories Jaune was telling. He looked over to the others as they came in. "Good morning," said Jaune.
"Jaune's making pancakes," said Karen. "What do you want and do you want coffee?" Joan looked at him, and Rachel spoke up.
"They're good." She sang, Joan looked at their mom.
"Well, Jaune can cook." She said, "but why pan…?" Rachel shoved a piece of her 'Morning Suicide' in her daughter's mouth. She tried it, "whoa."
"Umm-hmm, 'Morning Suicide'."
"This taste like a candy bar!"
"It's got chocolate chips, sea salt caramel, I mix butterscotch in the batter, toffee, and pecans." Said Jaune.
"Let me guess, you don't make this normally?" Jaune shook his head.
"Anyone else?" He asked.
