Lisa's head exploded in a ghastly spray of brain and bone fragments across the cafeteria windows. Sheamus would be sure to grieve and hate himself later but right now his focus was on Ms. Loomis the art teacher galloping across the long rows of lunch tables directly for him. He steadied the rifle and took aim as she launched herself off the edge, directly at the principle. The bullet caught her under the chin and her body dropped to floor. Her body flopped like a dying fish but that didn't stop her from trying to bite his leg. The second bullet put her down.
The principle went to help Sam but it seemed the teen needed no help at all. The young hunter had the infected lunch lady pinned through the neck with the tip of the flagpole, holding her in place with all his strength while Hildie beat her former co-worker's head with a meat mallet. The woman was long dead but Hildie was running on adrenaline and didn't stop until Sam grabbed her wrist.
"It's ok, Hildie, you're ok."
"I killed her…I've never hurt anyone before," she looked up at Sam, "I'm a murderer."
"She was already gone even before I got to her. You didn't kill anyone." The woman broke down crying and Sam wished he could have comforted her in his awkward teen way but getting her to safety was more important than a pat on the shoulder or more pacifying words.
…
Dean clutched a fork in his fist and locked eyes with man who could spill all of the omega's carefully kept secrets of his shameful past. Bobby saw the hate in Dean's eyes and the fork in his hand and he knew this would only turn out one way if he didn't intervene.
"Why don't you do the smart thing and leave us eat in peace, stranger. If you don't, I'm pretty sure he's gonna take your eye out with that fork." The man straightened up; afraid the omega might actually stab him. His painful balls were a reminder of just how dangerous the beautiful bitch could be.
The foolish man could have just walked away with his wounded pride, instead he spilled everything Dean wanted to keep secret just to hurt the omega. "I hope you know he was a stripper and a first-class cocksucker before you got ahold of him."
Bobby didn't even raise an eyebrow but inside he was fuming. Dean wasn't the only one who wanted to use cutlery on him. The young couple seated in the corner both looked away, not wanting to get involved.
Dean stood abruptly and faced off with the man, "You shut your goddamn mouth or I'll finish what I started and rip 'em right off."
Bobby stepped between them as the waitress looked on with a phone in her hand to no doubt call the police. The man called Dean a whore and walked away yelling threats. Dean stared out the window at nothing really, he didn't want to talk or face Bobby right now. The elder hunter fished some bills from his wallet and put them on the table.
"Settle up the bill, son. While you're at it, pick out a pie out from case up front. I'm gonna hit the head."
….
Students stampeded toward the double exit doors with a few getting trampled in the process and the entire school was in absolute chaos. As soon as Sheamus heard the distant sounds of police sirens, he grabbed a dirty dishcloth and wiped down the length of the flagpole jutting from the neck of the dead body and then wiped the meat mallet Hildie had dropped.
"Sam, you take her straight home. I'll handle the cops."
"No way, I'm sticking around to help; you don't have to worry about me."
The principle locked eyes with the young alpha and grabbed the front of his bloodstained shirt, "You need to trust me. Now get out of here."
…
The waitress waited at the bakery case for the angel face omega to make his choice. She felt bad for the kid who went from wanting to stab the creep's eyes out to looking sort of broken and sad by what had happened back at the table.
He pointed to a pie and mumbled, "I'll get the apple walnut." If the waitress knew that behind that sad, sweet freckled face was an omega filled with righteous rage and revenge, she would have been surprised.
"Ok, sweetie." She tapped the chalk board behind her with a long nail, "Yah know, we have a pie sampler special, a big slice of each flavor for only a dollar more and you end up with two extra slices."
The kid got a slight grin on his face and met her gaze, she couldn't help but notice he had the most beautiful green eyes she'd ever seen.
"Awesome, I'll get that instead."
….
The sound of boots on gravel gave the hunter away as he followed the stranger to his car. It didn't matter, Bobby didn't bother with the element of surprise. He was angry, angrier than he'd been in a long while and finding out about the hurt and pain Dean had been through, combined with Jamies violent murder and Sam getting kidnapped, pushed him right over the edge.
Bobby kicked the man's legs out from under him and dragged him across the gravel to a private area between a couple of semi-trucks. "Yell and scream all yah want, no one here gives two shits about someone like you."
On his back now, staring up at who surely must be some sort of serial killer, he held out his wallet with a shaky hand, "Take it, I've got at least three hundred bucks in there."
"Keep your damn money. You hurt my kid and there's no buying your way out of what's coming to yah."
During the beating, a trucker came by the scene and when Bobby spotted him, the trucker held up his hands, "Hey man, I didn't see anything." It was true, no one gave a damn about this creep in a fancy suit.
…..
Dean eventually found them between the parked trucks and watched as Bobby continually slammed the creep's head against the gravel where a creeping pool of blood was forming. The omega didn't care if his uncle straight up killed the guy but he didn't want Bobby to get in any trouble. It worried Dean seeing Bobby out of control like this.
"Bobby, stop. I wanna go home now."
Dean's voice acted like a light switch turning off the rage and Bobby stopped. He got off the gurgling, twitching man and turned to see Dean holding a big white bakery box and real concerned look on his face.
During the drive home the only sound was music from the oldies station. Dean turned it off because he had to say something if only to purge himself of this particular secret and to gage Bobby's reaction.
"Bobby, about what that guy said…it's sort of true. I only did it because Dad was hurt and I needed to take care of him," he glanced over at Bobby who had a death grip on the steering wheel and eyes on the road, "I swear I didn't want to do any of
it though. Please don't tell Sammy, it'd kill me if he found out."
A freak snowstorm had kicked up and it was coming down wet and heavy and Bobby kept his focus on the slick path ahead, "Tell him what, that John was poor excuse of a dad? I think he knows that already. You shouldn't have had to do that, Dean. Those people took advantage of a kid put in a bad situation. I promise I won't say a word to Sam about it. I'm the one who really failed you though, I should have known when you started sending money home. I should have come get you and let John rot."
Dean answered softly, "You didn't fail me because you didn't know. Don't hate me."
"I could never, ever hate you, Dean. I don't know why you'd even wonder about that. I only wish I could destroy everyone who hurt you."
"Thanks for what you did back there."
"He deserved it."
Do you think he's dead?"
"Don't know, don't care."
Dean's voice perked up, "I got a pie sampler. For just a buck more I got all kinds of pie and two extra slices. I'll let you and Sam have some, don't worry."
"Gee thanks. What kinds did yah get?"
"Apple walnut, mincemeat, pumpkin, cherry cranberry, banana cream, pecan, and lemon meringue. They aren't regular slices either, she cut 'em big!"
"Damn, now I'm hungry again."
…
Police cordoned off the high school and outside rescue personal along with news reporters were on the scene. Sam watched the it on TV from the warmth and comfort of Bobby's living room, wondering if he should have stayed anyway and helped Sheamus. Sam saw his dreams of getting his diploma vanish before his eyes. He was supposed to graduate that spring a year early but the chances of that happening now were slim to none. No dancing with Dean at the prom, no college and no future if something didn't change soon.
What had started as a sunny day with after school plans of picking up his lover some pretty things at Intimate Omega were dashed. Now all he wanted was to see
his family home safe and sound. It felt like forever since he'd touched, tasted and scented his brother. Sam wished hunting didn't consume their lives and all the bad things would just disappear.
He spied the lights from the truck and dashed to the door, holding it open as they unloaded gear in the front hall. Lastly Dean carried in a big white box and set it on the kitchen table. Sam hugged him tight and closed his eyes as he breathed in the musky smells of his omega. He picked up something new mingled in and the scent was pleasant but very strange.
Dean let go first, "I know I stink." He glanced down at Sam's crotch and tried not to drool. Both of them were already hard and horny but thanks to the cover of shirttails, it wasn't too noticeable and Bobby wasn't paying anyway. It was still their secret and maybe there would never be a right time to tell him.
The omega took the stairs two at a time in his rush to get in the shower where he could jack off to thoughts of Sam stroking his own one-eyed warrior, a term Sam would have been sure to roll his eyes at but Dean found hilarious. He could wait to make up for their separation in spades now that he was home.
Sam opened and warmed up one of the half gallon jars of soup Jamie had canned for them late last winter which now seemed like a lifetime ago. Bobby toasted some stale bread in the oven with plenty of butter and the three of them ate together as a family. Afterward, Dean set a platter of pie slices on the table and they talked as they tasted.
Bobby asked Sam how his school day was. Sam shrugged and replied, "Same old same old. I'm tutoring for the Miller kids tomorrow." There would be time later to turn on the news and fill them in on everything that went down. Right now, he just wanted a heaping dose of normal.
When Sam asked how the hunting trip went, Dean imitated Sam by shrugging his shoulders, "Same old, same old. I'm not tutoring the Miller kids tomorrow." Sam let out a snort laugh and that was what Dean wanted, to get him to laugh because he looked so serious. This was much better than blurting out they killed a cute baby dinosaur and a guy Dean met at the strip club and gave a blow job to had accosted him and Bobby beat that bastard to death or gave him brain damage.
Sometimes it was better, easier to keep secrets because that way the only one hurting was yourself.
…
His brother crept into his room late that night and their uncle was none the wiser. Sam was having another nightmare, something both brothers weren't strangers to and in this nightmare, he was failing to protect and save everyone around him. Dean pulled him out of it with a pair of warm, soft lips on his cock, tongue teasing each little spot he knew drove his Sammy mad. Long fingers massaged the omega's scalp as he bobbed his head in a rhythmic motion while the alpha pumped his hips. The first orgasm didn't take long at all because Sam was still young and needy. Sam's cock didn't wane and Dean could always count on that so he could satisfy his own needs. He rode Sam hard while Sam slammed up into him over and over and later Dean would pay with bruises but he didn't care. This was straight up breeding pussy while jerking Dean's dick with one of those great big hands of his.
Dean never once took his eyes off Sam while they fucked but the alpha was used to having those pretty, intense green eyes locked onto him. That look conveyed love and ownership, something Dean made no bones about. Sometimes it scared Sam how much his brother loved him, it was all consuming with little room to breathe.
Afterward, the omega fell asleep in the too small bed with Sam's head on his chest. The alpha listened to the Dean's heart beating and for the first time he could hear and feel his mate's entire body pulse as the blood traveled through his veins. These heightened senses thrilled Sam and made him feel powerful.
Dean was jolted awake to his brother sitting on top of him and hands pinning his shoulders. Sam was no lightweight and Dean tried to shift his body, "You want a round two, Sammy?" When his eyes adjusted to the darkness, he could see the alpha had his head cocked to the side, examining him and his foxtail eyes were open wide.
"Sam?"
Sam lowered his body enough to sink his teeth into his brother's bicep right to the muscle but this was no love bite or even a claiming bite got out of hand. A shooting pain went through his arm and Dean grabbed a handful of hair and pulled as hard as he could, jerking the alpha's head up. The omega moaned in pain as the teeth dislodged, taking flesh with them. They struggled, Dean trying to buck him off and escape and Sam holding him harder than ever.
"Sam it's me!" His brother suddenly collapsed on top of him. Dean rolled Sam off the bed then hurriedly got to his feet.
Bobby shot Sam with a second dart when his hand moved.
It only took one dart to put Dean down.
