Finally making it home after the USJ debacle, Arashi steps inside, only to be greeted by his adoptive father. The Hero has shed his work attire for the day, and makes full eye contact with his son. He's even wearing a shirt. Before either can speak, the man steps forward and wraps Arashi in a hug.

With a shuddering breath, he speaks in a low voice, "I'm so sorry you had to go through all that."

Arashi relaxes into the hug, "It's not your fault dad, no-"

Maijima interrupts, "But it is. I designed and built those security systems, even claiming them to be better than what the military uses, but they failed when we needed them the most. Whenyouneeded them the most. I know you weren't injured, but there was a very real possibility of you dying in there. If that were to happen I… I don't know what I would do…"

Arashi squeezes his father with a tight hug of his own, "Dad, it's okay. I'm okay. Besides, since you know what went wrong, that's just another reason to hit the workshop and make something new, right?"

The Pro Hero chuckles, "Well, you're right about that. By the time I'm done UA will be more secure than Fort Knox!"

Separating from the hug, the two nod to each other before going their own ways. Almost as soon as he steps into his room, Arashi gets a call.

Answering with a smile, Arashi speaks first, "Wow, that soon huh? You must be pretty excited Me-mei."

Mei giggles, "Of course, Mochi! With all the free time you've got, we need to do something to make up for your lost workshop time!"

Arashi lets out a chuckle, "I want to try and get one last invention in before the Sport's Festival, but I'm a bit limited by materials here at home. It'll have to be small, but I want to pack as much punch into it as possible."

Mei hums, "Small but mighty, huh? You should probably couple it with your Quirk, since we only have so much time, and a general invention could take longer."

After a moment of silence, a grin spreads on Arashi's face, "I just had a stupid idea."

Interest piqued, Mei asks, "Funny stupid, or just plain stupid?"

"Funny stupid."

Mei lets out a chuckle, "Do it then, if it's you that makes it you'll definitely catch the attention of the support companies."

With a cackle only a mad scientist could replicate, Arashi gets to work on making a fool out of the Hero Course.
