In an unknown forest...
A cyan fox is running away from something, it jumps to a tree leaping from branch to branch, it then landed on a hole inside of another tree. It stayed there for a while until it heard a noise.
"Come out, come out, wherever you are little kumiho~" a man's voice said, "I promise not to hurt you, just wanted you to become one of my familiars!"
The fox just let out a snort.
"Yeah, right." thought the fox in a sarcastic tone, "*sarcastically* Like I would be a familiar to a creepy human. Oh, how I wish GingerBrave and the others were here, the kingdom is a lot safer and I miss it."
The strange fox quickly left its hiding place and promptly ran away.
"Whoa, what happened to you guys?" asked GingerBrave shockingly.
"All of you seemed like you went through a traumatic war." commented Kiba.
After finishing the contract that he and Kiba received, they returned back to the clubhouse and saw Isaac, Wizard, and Chili looking very pale with Issei looking like he got beat up with bruises on his face and a small flame lit upon his head. Strawberry was with them and her face was fully red.
"I've experienced something no man, has ever seen." groaned Isaac.
"He's just... terrifying like he's different from a... monster." mumbled Wizard.
"When we ran away, he chase us to no end and our attacks barely graze that thing." said Chili her eyes shadowing.
"I'm very sorry about that guys, I truly did." groaned Issei in pain.
"Shut it!" said all three of them.
Memories of that tragic 'encounter' began to play out in their minds.
"HOLY HELL! HE'S STILL AFTER US! OUR ATTACKS ARE NOT EVEN WORKING!"
"Come back, Nyo! Turn me into a magical girl!"
"MY SPELLS ARE BARELY FAZING HIM!"
"STAY AWAY FROM US, YOU WEIRDO! HE DESTROYED MY DAGGERS!"
They just shuddered at the memory and keep on mumbling stuff, making the brave cookie human sweatdrop, he turned to Strawberry.
"What about you Strawberry?" asked GingerBrave curiously.
"I-I uh, did some normal dress ups." said Strawberry blushing.
"Oh, that didn't seem so bad."
Flashback(with Strawberry and Koneko)...
"That's it hold that pose!" said Muriwasa.
It shows Strawberry and Koneko wearing different types of costumes:
In the first one where they dressed up as maids, and they were holding hands, much to the hoodie girl's embarrassment.
The second one, as ninja girls with Strawberry's garb being pink while Koneko is silver and they did some sword poses.
The third one is royals with them wearing fancy dresses.
And finally, they wear swimsuits as Strawberry wears a pink one-piece with strawberry designs and Koneko has cat designs.
After that, they proceeded to roleplay with the remaining costumes.
"I'm sorry that you went through that, Koneko." said Strawberry.
"It's no problem, I'm used to it, though." said Koneko, eating a candy.
"Although, I wonder if Isaac would like it if he sees me in those dresses." thought Strawberry blushing slightly.
Chili for some reason senses something off but shrugs. Asia and Akeno then came back after finishing their contracts, the former nun then saw Issei's state making her concerned as she rushed toward him.
"My goodness, Issei! What happened to you?" asked Asia, who began to heal him using her Sacred Gear.
He was about to answer truthfully but saw the dangerous glares of his three friends with Isaac punching his open palm, meaning to shut up.
"I- uh got into an accident, while we were doing our contracts..." lied Issei.
"Be careful next time, alright."
"You have no idea." thought Issei fearfully.
"Oh it seems all of you are finished." said a voice.
They turned and saw Rias coming in along with Custard who has a happy face.
"Got that right, Rias! It was easy peasy." said GingerBrave.
"I'm impressed with how good your fighting style GingerBrave." said Kiba.
GingerBrave and Kiba's contract was to help a local dojo to defend themselves since their master was unavailable, both of them trained the students there and Kiba was surprised at how he took down some of the special fighters there, even the strongest ones.
"Aw, thanks Kiba." said GingerBrave sheepishly.
"Me and Rias help a leader get his life back when he was feeling down." boasted Custard.
"I'm honestly surprised at how good your leadership skill is, Custard." said Rias getting impressed.
"Hehe, that's because I'm a king who wants to support his followers."
In their contract, they help a leader who feels stressed out from not helping his fellow townspeople to support them and feels worthless and inferior, Custard due to his royal skills manages to talk to the man and helps comfort him saying that his people need his support and wants a leading figure to help them guide through troubled times. The leader was then in awe and got inspired by Custard's words and feels motivated now.
"So what did you guys do?" asked Rias curiously.
"I did some normal dress-ups!" squeaked Strawberry with a red face.
"And we encountered a mons-" Wizard got cut off when Isaac elbowed him.
"What he's saying is that we simply help a guy clean up his messy house." said Isaac.
Chili quickly caught on to what he said.
"Y-Yeah that's right, we just cleaned nothing else!" said Chili.
"Well that seems kinda boring." said GingerBrave.
"I agree, I kinda expected it to be grander." said Custard.
"Sorry guys, but we can't tell you, what we experienced!" thought Isaac in a pained tone.
"Alright, now that everyone has finished their contracts today, it's time for Issei and Asia to get their own familiars." said Rias.
"A familiar?" asked Issei.
"What's that?" asked Asia curiously.
Rias was about to answer, but Wizard beat her to it.
"Well Asia, familiars are like partners that can help you with whatever you need by summoning them." explained Wizard, due to his experience back in his world about Familiars.
"That is correct." said Rias.
"So they're like little pets that can help us, right?"
"In a way, yes." said the wizard human.
"Kinda reminds me, of those magical games that I play that involve familiars." thought Isaac, although he did remember one of the Kamen Riders having a magical familiar but he doesn't remember who.
"Here's an example..." said Rias, a small puff of smoke appeared in her hand, revealing a small cartoonish bat, "This is my familiar, they can help Devils in their contracts and secretly gather information."
"It looks cute." said Strawberry giving it a soft poke, making the bat giggle cutely.
"This one's mine." said Akeno summoning hers, which is a small green Oni.
"Eek, it looks weird." said Chili.
"Appearances can be deceiving Chili." said Isaac to her.
"Here's mine." said Koneko summoning a small white cat, and cradling it in her arms.
"Aw it looks cute, hey there little guy." said Isaac rubbing the cat's head.
The cat then purred softly at Isaac's hands.
"Now I wanna pet it." pouted Custard.
"So how do we get a familiar?" asked Asia.
"You see..." started Rias.
She was cut off when they hear knocking coming from the door. Akeno then calls them out, to come in, the door opened up revealing a group of people following a young girl with short back hair with glasses and another young girl with long black hair with glasses. These are Sona Sitri and Tsubaki Shinra accompanied by their peerage.
"Ah Rias, I see you've expanded your peerage." said Sona.
"Not exactly." said Rias, surprising her, "The only ones who became part of my peerage are my Pawn Issei and my Bishop Asia, the rest of them are our special associates Isaac, GingerBrave, Wizard, Strawberry, Chili, and Custard."
"Heh, weird names." chuckled the short blonde hair man in Sona's group.
"Saji, rude." scold Tsubaki.
"I see..." Sona looks at Isaac and his group and could easily tell they're not regular humans.
For some reason, the energy she senses from Isaac feels very distant and familiar. Like the one her family experienced, a long time ago.
"Hey, Akeno, who's that?" asked Isaac.
"That's Sona Sitri, she's the Student Council President who leads another peerage." explained Akeno, "She's the heiress of another high-class family like Rias."
"Another higher class, huh." said Isaac.
"Hey you're the guy who recently joined the student council as a secretary." said Issei, "Class 2-C's uh..."
"Genshirou Saji, I'm Sona's new pawn." declared Saji with a smirk.
"You're a Pawn too and were also in the same grade! Guess that makes us equals, huh?" asked Issei with a smile.
"Don't compare me to you, especially since you're part of the Perverted Trio. Sides I'm a pawn worth four pieces." declared Saji with a smile.
"What a show-off." thought Chili with a scoff.
"Saji, don't." said Sona, "Besides Issei is worth eight pieces."
"Eight?! No way!" exclaimed the young man in shock.
"I apologize for that, try to get along with him since he's still new being a devil." said Sona, she turned to her pawn with a serious look, "Saji..."
"Yes, mam." bowed Saji.
"So when will you guys, gonna get a familiar?" asked Isaac breaking the tension.
"Oh, so you planned on getting familiars as well? That's gonna be a problem for all of us since he only accepts once a month." said Sona.
"How about we settle this with a little competition?" asked Rias with a smirk.
"A competition? Do you mean a Rating Game?" asked Sona.
"No, I highly doubt we're allowed to do that. How about we settled it through sports as regular high schoolers do!" said Rias with a competitive look.
"Why do I feel like this is not gonna end well?" asked GingerBrave.
"Remind me again, why do we have to watch from a distance?" asked Custard.
Isaac and his cookie human friends are on top of a hill that's beside the school and they are looking down on the match.
"It's because we're not part of the school and every student is watching the match." explained Wizard.
"Plus I don't want to experience that scenario again, where they began to have weird comments towards us." said Strawberry embarrassingly.
"Don't remind me." groaned Chili.
"Guys it's starting!" said Isaac using the Denden Sensor to look closer.
A lot of students(mostly males) are pressing against the fences, cheering loudly as they watch the intense tennis match between the two higher devils. The game started and it was super intense since both devils' hits are strong which causes some small shockwaves whenever they hit the tennis ball, they keep on hitting each other with the ball and the cheer from the crowd keeps on getting intense.
"Sheesh, they're really going all out." commented Wizard, and he sense that both devils enhance their rackets with magic.
"I thought devils don't reveal their abilities openly to the public." said Strawberry.
"The crowd looks like they don't care though and are only here for the sportsmanship." said Isaac.
"Ouch, why are the male students' noses squeezing jam? I mean blood." wince GingerBrave seeing the male students have blood gushing over their noses including Issei.
"Gross! Why's that happening?" said Chili in disgust.
"I'm afraid we'll never know." said Isaac turning green, but kept on watching the match.
"It ended with a tie." said Koneko raising up the two broken tennis rackets.
"They truly take it too far." said Isaac with a sweatdrop.
"If this keeps on going, it's more of a fight to the death now." said GingerBrave.
"Which is something, Purple Yam would like." added Strawberry, recalling their gladiator friend, "Where are Rias and Akeno now?"
"They're discussing the matter with the student council right now." answered Kiba.
On cue, Rias and Akeno came inside the room.
"So does it involves more property destruction?" joked Chili.
"Not exactly, we decided on another sport which is team-based..." said Rias.
"And that is?" asked Isaac.
"Dodgeball."
"This is gonna be chaotic, now that dodgeball is involved..."
It was nighttime and the last day on who will get familiars, both two peerages are facing each other on opposite sides while Isaac and his cookie friends are sitting on the benches supporting Rias. GingerBrave and Custard are raising a banner that said: "GO RIAS!" and Strawberry is simply holding a small red flag and waving it around.
"Things are serious, now that dodgeball is involved." said Isaac.
"Why's that?" asked Wizard.
"Trust me, my magical friend, dodgeball is a game of life and death."
"Did you experience something like that before, Isaac?" asked Chili curiously.
"Yes, but I rather not talk about it." The wanderer began to recall his memories of his previous life, where he had to dodge all those balls of death and use them to take down enemy lines.
"Sounds hardcore." commented the red-haired thief.
"And they're starting now." said Strawberry.
The game of dodgeball began, just like with the tennis match it was intense as both teams throw each other at high speed, Koneko was the first one who got taken out which grazes her shirt. The game keeps on getting intense as the teams infused spells on the ball, a few of them got taken out in the process, and one of them have their clothes destroyed much to Isaac's embarrassment and to Issei's delight. The match keeps on going and the gym is slowly getting destroyed...
"Is this even dodgeball, now?!" said Isaac ducking underneath.
"I guess not!" said GingerBrave as he and Custard drop the banner to take cover.
"Now I understand, why you said dodgeball is chaotic!" said Chili taking cover.
Strawberry squeaked as she rolled away and avoids the spell-infused balls, "Dodgeball is scary!"
Sona then infused the ball with a spell and throws it toward Issei, he panicked and manage to dodge it but the ball goes toward him, he ran away as the ball keeps on following him like a homing missile. He keeps on running left and right, and the ball still keeps on following him.
"Help me!" screamed Issei in terror.
Issei kept on running and running, suddenly tripping down the floor and faceplanting, avoiding the ball that went past him as it went straight to Chili much to her horror.
"Ah, crap!" cursed Chili.
She tried to dodge but the ball is closer, Isaac saw this and quickly rushed towards it, focusing Chaos Energy on his right fist and punching down the ball which landed on the floor making a crater, Sona and her peerage were shocked to see Isaac stopped the ball, while Saji jaw drops. Chili was flabbergasted by this as Isaac save her, for some reason this gave her a warm feeling.
"You alright, Chili?" asked Isaac in concern.
"Y-Yeah I'm fine, just a bit shook." stuttered Chili, "What was that, I never stuttered before..." She felt warm when Isaac save her.
"You guys totally went too extreme! I mean just look at the place!" said Isaac referring to the gym.
The gym is now half destroyed since there are small craters, cracks, broken windows, hanging broken lights, etc.
"I guess, we took it a little too far..." said Rias.
"LITTLE?! Look I understand that you guys are competitive and stuff, how about you guys do dodgeball the old fashion way with regular strength alright? You know to avoid destruction and getting people hurt." said Isaac reasoning the two teams.
"Alright, he does prove a point." said Sona adjusting her glass.
"I agree as well, let's finish this as Isaac would say: 'old fashion way'." said Rias with a smile.
They resumed the match and they no longer infused the ball with spells but with some increased strength, they manage to take out more of Sona's peerage with her and Saji remaining, Saji smirks and throws it towards Koneko, but the white-haired girl grab it with eased and throws it with such strength that it hit Saji where the sun don't shine making Isaac and his male cookie friends wince a bit.
"Ooh that's gonna hurt." winced GingerBrave.
"Glad, I'm not in his position." said Wizard, feeling slightly sorry for Saji.
Sona was the only one left and she was now surrounded by Rias and her peerage. She prepared to throw her ball but was stop realizing how outmatched she is, the Student Council President sighed and drop the ball.
"I give." said Sona calmly accepting her defeat.
"Yeah we won!" cheered Issei, as he dance along with Asia.
"Good game, Rias." said Sona, "Of course, I hate losing but I still have fun. If it were a Rating Game instead of this, I wouldn't lose."
"Neither, I would." said the red-haired girl.
With that, Sona left as she followed her peerage, still why does she feel like there's more to Rias' special subordinates, especially to Isaac?
Back at the clubhouse, Rias and her peerage are celebrating their victory with Isaac and his cookie friends joining in.
"Now then, since the match is done, it's time for you two to get your familiars." said Rias.
"Got it." nodded Issei.
"Now, I'm truly curious about how you guys get familiars." said Wizard.
"Trust us, Wizard it will interesting." said Akeno.
"Can't wait to see it."
"Why do I feel like, we're gonna encounter something terrible again?" thought Isaac with a dreadful feeling.
Rias then conjured a magic circle, and they were engulfed by it...
The entire group found themselves in a dark forest and it reminded the cookie humans of the Tainted Forest back in their world.
"Where are we?" asked Isaac getting creeped out by the forest.
"We're at the forest where familiars are created." explained Akeno.
"This is where we got our familiars here as well." added Kiba, making Koneko nod.
"I don't know about you guys but this place is kinda creepy like something's gonna lash out at me." said Issei in fear, making Asia agree with him.
"You're not wrong though, I hope there are no serial killers here." said GingerBrave, getting horrible memories of that horror movie that he watch with Popcorn Cookie.
"There are no serial killers here, just familiars." said Rias reassuring him.
"Although, we should watch out for some aggressive familiars since most of them are strong." said Akeno.
"T-That didn't h-help at all." said Strawberry.
"Don't worry, I'll protect ya if there are some crazy monsters after you." said Isaac comforting her, by placing a hand on her shoulder.
"T-Thanks Isaac." said the hoodie girl with a small blush.
Chili saw this again and feel jealous of it. The group was then taken back by a voice.
"Gotta catch 'em all!" said a voice.
"W-Who's there?!" asked Issei fearfully.
"I think it's coming from that guy over there." pointed out Isaac.
They look up and saw a grown man, wearing a cap backward, red hair, a white undershirt, a yellow backpack, a sweater wrapped around his waist, black shorts, and shoes.
"I'm the Familiar Master, Zatuji!" said the man with a smirk.
"For some reason, he looks like the bootleg version of the main characters that I used to play that involves catching monsters." thought Isaac.
"Familiar..." said Issei.
"Master?" asked Asia.
"It's a nice full moon today! The best day to catch some familiars! I can catch any familiar!" declared Zatuji proudly, "Except for that one." He whispered that last part in a quiet tone with a hint of frustration.
"Uh, can someone explain to me, what's this weirdo's deal?" asked Chili bluntly.
"He's the man that will help us and a professional in catching familiars." explained Akeno towards the treasure hunter/thief.
"Oh."
"Nice to meet you again Zatuji, I'm here to have two of my members get their own familiars." said Rias.
"These two wanted to catch a familiar, huh?" asked Zautji looking at Issei and Asia, "What do they want? Strength? Speed? Or something that has poison?"
"Is there a cute familiar?" asked Issei with a goofy smile, "One that looks like a girl?"
"Oh great, his weird side is happening again." sighed Wizard.
"I truly wonder why Issei has a huge fascination towards girls..." wondered Custard.
"Trust me, Custard you do not want to know." said Koneko trying to protect his innocence.
Zatuji just shakes his head and looks disappointed at Issei's question.
"Tsk, you newbies can't do it right. You want familiars to be useful and strong, that is to say, you must know their abilities and choose one that complements your own!" said the Familiar Master with pride.
"I actually wanted a cute familiar, as well." said Asia.
"Oh sure thing, little lady!" said Zatuji happily.
"That's kinda bit biased." thought Isaac with a sweatdrop.
The Familiar Master then noticed Isaac and his cookie friends.
"Who are they? New friends?" asked Zatuji curiously.
"They're with us, Zatuji." answered Rias.
"Hmm... your friend here is peculiar since the energy he's giving off seems otherworldly and the same time has a connection with different beings." analyzed Zatuji
The wanderer was surprised by this, "The fact that he can sense my energy and detect my connection with Momotaros and the others is astounding, well it's kinda obvious since he's a Familiar Master he probably has experienced encountering strange beings before..."
Zatuji then turned to the cookie humans.
"For the rest of you... you don't seem to be completely human and the energy you're giving off is similar to the young man. Not to mention your energy seems similar, to it." said the Familiar Master, saying the last part with frustration again.
The cookie humans are also surprised by this, although they were confused when Zatuji said their energy seemed familiar to him.
"Is there something wrong?" asked Strawberry in concern, when he sounds frustrated at the last part.
Zatuji shakes his head, "No nothing wrong, adorable lady! Just rambling about some things! Anyway, any friend of Rias is a good friend of mine, now off we go!"
He jumps off the tree and began to lead the group, as they followed him to get familiars for Issei and Asia. They walk for a bit and came across a large lake, which amaze Isaac.
"Such a beautiful lake, to hang around for a bit and to eat a couple of sandwiches." said Isaac.
"The water spirit Undine lives in this lake." explained Zatuji.
This made Issei excited, "A water spirit, judging from the name, it's probably..." He began to fantasize about how beautiful it is and how it can 'take care' of him.
"Think it will look like Sea Fairy Cookie?" whispered Chili to Wizard, thinking the familiar will resembled the Legendary Cookie.
"It could be possible, but we'll see." said Wizard.
"Look it's coming!" pointed out Custard.
They saw on the center of the lake began to bubble and glow, and a figure began to slowly rise up. However, instead of a slender figure rising up, it shows a muscular figure with a pink dress and long blonde hair, the figure turned around revealing a female muscular being who let out a primal roar while flexing. Isaac, Wizard, and Chili screamed as they hugged each other with tears of torture falling down their face, Strawberry let out a squeak as she covered her entire face with her hoodie, and Issei has a huge shock on his face with a hint of betrayal.
GingerBrave and Custard, however, were unaffected by its disturbing appearance and were in awe by it.
"Woah it looks strong!" awed Custard.
"It has the same machoness of Muscle Cookie!" said GingerBrave.
His three friends however are still crying in pain, as their memories of Mil-tan got replayed.
"Why?!" said Isaac in a hurt tone.
"Not another one!" cried Wizard.
"So many abominations! Not even Muscle Cookie's like this!" said Chili in agony.
"What's the matter?" asked Kiba in concern.
"Don't wanna talk about it!" said the three of them.
"The hell is this?!" asked Issei shockingly.
"That's Undine." answered Zatuji.
"Screw that! That looks like a fighter who came here to take a bath, no matter how you look at her!" said Issei.
"You're lucky boy, it's rare to encounter one. A fighting-oriented water spirit isn't that bad!" said the Familiar Master.
"Yeah Issei, the Undine thing looks strong enough to protect you from all danger." said Custard, Every great king needs a strong guardian!"
"Hell no! It looks more like a hitman than a gentle spirit!" said Issei with tears.
"But it is a female." answered Zatuji truthfully.
Issei slumped down on the ground in despair, "You don't have to tell me that."
"Wizard prepare a memory-wiping spell for the three of us, alright?" asked Isaac.
"Already on it." said Wizard.
"Seriously, though what happened to you guys?" asked GingerBrave curiously.
After that terrifying fiasco, the group keeps on walking. Isaac along with Wizard and Chil recovered from the horror a little bit with Strawberry comforting them, Issei was comforted by Asia from his mental scarring. A screech was then heard and they look up and saw a bird covered in flames flying by.
"Oh never would've thought, we encounter it!" said Zatuji.
"What is it, Zatuji?" asked Isaac curiously.
"That right there is a phoenix, very rare and hardly show themselves."
Rias was in deep thought when she saw the phoenix and looks down, Isaac notice it.
"Is something wrong, Rias?" asked Isaac in concern.
"I-It's nothing." said Rias.
Isaac knows there's more but respects her privacy.
"Alright, I'll call dibs on this one!" said Issei, as he ran up to the phoenix, that was perched on one of the trees.
It saw him and quickly breathed out a fireball hitting Issei in the face and making him scream, Asia quickly run to his side and began to heal him, and the phoenix fly away.
"Oh forgot to mention, that phoenixes are super picky and will attack you if you're unworthy of it." explained Zatuji.
"Should've told me that earlier!" said Issei angrily.
"Still it's amazing to see a phoenix in person, I rarely see one back home." said Wizard, he heard of those species back in the books.
Isaac does recall there is a kaijin that resembles a phoenix and for some reason has bad vibes about it.
The group then moved on and Issei still hasn't found the right familiar for him since he kept on getting attacked by them, and was slowly getting frustrated. Isaac felt something land on his shoulder and saw a green slime landing on it.
"Slime?" said Isaac in disgust as he wipe it away.
"Is it raining?" asked GingerBrave in confusion, as Isaac notice more of the green slime landing on him and everyone else.
Isaac keeps on wiping off the slime from his hat and body, "This is getting ridiculous."
"Uh, Isaac?" asked Wizard getting his attention, as he notice something strange.
"What is it?"
"Look."
Isaac looked and his eyes widened, he saw the slimes burning away the clothes of Rias, Akeno, Koneko, and Asia as they scream. Lucky for Strawberry and Chili their clothes are not burning off(possibly due to Chaos Energy), but they're still get covered by slime as they're trying their best to remove them, Kiba and Zatuji have slime covering their eyes with the blonde young man struggling to remove the one on his eyes.
"Shoo, go away slime! You're ruining my royal clothes!" said Custard removing them.
"They're all over me!" said Wizard using his staff to blow them away.
"Get off you stupid slime balls!" said Chili in rage cutting them down, but more took their place.
"Ew! Ew! Get off me!" said Strawberry in disgust, removing them from her body and her backpack.
"Alright Issei let's help- Issei?" asked Isaac in confusion.
He saw his friend have blood trailing down his nose with a goofy smile.
"This is wonderful." said Issei happily.
"These are slime that primarily feeds on textiles. Though, they're mostly harmless aside from eating women's clothes, not sure why two of them are not affected." said Zatuji with his eyes covered by the slimed and his nose also trailing down some blood.
"Clothes-eating slime!? Buchou I want this one to be my familiar!" said Issei.
"C'mon Issei, give our friends some decency!" said Isaac trying to reason with him.
"No! My dream has finally come true!"
Isaac just sighed and summoned the OrbCalibur, "Don't worry guys, I'll save ya!"
Before he can do anything, he was stopped by Issei.
"Issei, what are you doing!?" asked Isaac struggling against him.
"No, I won't let you destroy my familiar!" cried Issei.
"There's no time for this!" thought Isaac in annoyance as he struggles more against Issei.
He managed to break from Issei and was about to do a FlameCalibur slash until a blue ball of fire destroyed the slime on his cookie friends surprising them along with Isaac and Issei.
"Isaac, did you do that?" asked GingerBrave.
"No that wasn't me." said Isaac.
"Then who did it?" asked Strawberry in confusion.
"Look!" pointed out Custard.
They turned to where he was pointed and saw a cyan fox perching on a branch, staring at them. It jumped in the air and shoots multiple blue fires eradicating the rest of the slime, Rias and her peerage were finally relieved and they use their magic to restore their clothes.
"Nooo!" cried Issei.
"Glad that's over." said Asia in relief.
"What happened?" asked Rias.
"I think it's the work of that blue fox over there." said Akeno.
They saw the small fox simply sitting down on the ground, staring at them with its red eyes. GingerBrave and the others couldn't help but feel familiar with the fox.
"Aha, there are you again! This time, I'll get you little kumiho!" said Zatuji.
GingerBrave's eyes widened when he mentioned kumiho.
"Wait kumiho? Zatuji wai-!" GingerBrave tries to stop him.
Zatuji rushed towards the fox but got tail whip by it, sending him crashing into a tree.
"It easily knocked him out." said Koneko shockingly.
"I didn't know a kumiho, will reside in this forest." said Rias, "Normally they were supposed to be in Yokai territory."
"Wait that's a kumiho!? Then that means a sexy fox lady!" said Issei with a goofy smile, "I'll take this one!"
"Issei wait for a second-"
Just like with Zatuji, the kumiho blasts him with a blue ball of fire in the face knocking him down on the ground.
"Issei!" said Asia in concern.
"I'm fine, why that little!" growled Issei.
"Stupid human, I'm not a familiar." said the kumiho in annoyance.
"It can talk!" exclaimed Issei in shock, along with the rest of the devils.
"Everyone stop! We know this kumiho!" said Strawberry.
"You do?" asked Rias in surprise.
"Yes."
"Wait... Is this one of your friends as well, guys?" asked Isaac sensing a connection.
"Friends?" asked Akeno in confusion.
"That's right Isaac, she's one of our friends, let us talk to her." said GingerBrave making the wanderer nod.
GingerBrave then approaches the kumiho, who looks cautious towards him.
"Hey Kumiho Cookie, it's us." said the brave cookie human.
The fox narrowed its eyes and sniff them until they widened when it saw in their place were their cookie forms.
"GingerBrave, Strawberry, Wizard, Chili, and Custard is that truly all of you?" asked Kumiho.
"You got that right, you sly fox." smirked Chili.
Kumiho jumped and was engulfed by pink light and in their place was another cookie being like GingerBrave and the others, she was a brown-colored cookie with red eyes, and long cyan hair, behind her, was a large furry cyan fox tail. Her outfit consists of a white top with a pink string attached to it with the end having a pink flower piece and a large red skirt that covered her legs.
Rias and her peerage were surprised to see a kumiho turned into a gingerbread man-like being.
"That's what it turned into, I was expecting a sexy fox lady, not a gingerbread man." said Issei in a disappointed tone.
"That's a bit rude human." said Kumiho in an annoyed tone, "Anyway, oh sweethearts how I missed all of you!" said Kumiho with a smile.
"We missed you as well, Kumiho." said Strawberry softly.
"Thank you, but what happened to you all? And how did you turn into humans?" asked Kumiho curiously.
"It's a long story but it involved our new friend Isaac." said GingerBrave.
"Isaac?"
Isaac then came into the view, "Hey there, I'm the one who helps your friends."
Kumiho then looks at him and she gotta admit, he was cute and not to mention he has this peculiar aura that made her like him.
"Well, he's kinda cute." said Kumiho with interest.
"Oh, uh, I appreciate it." said Isaac covering his face with his hat.
Strawberry and Chili got annoyed by that and got jealous.
"Can some of you explain to me, what's going on and how all of you know this kumiho being?" asked Rias.
"We'll it's a very long story Rias, but they're actually cookies that have the ability to turn into humans." said Isaac giving her the short version of their story.
"Cookies!?" yelled out the peerage in shock, Koneko however drooled which disturbed them.
"T-This is highly unexpected." said Rias in a surprised tone.
"Yeah sorry for not telling you." said Isaac in a sheepish tone.
"We're just nervous about how all of you will act if we told you about our true selves." said Strawberry.
"No, it's alright we respect all of you wanted it to be a secret." said Rias, with a smile reassuring her, "Besides we too sometimes hide our true devil selves among humans, to be accepted."
"Glad we're relatable." smiled GingerBrave.
"Still, it's surprising that GingerBrave and the rest are sentient treats." said Kiba, "I'm curious why one of your friends is here in the familiar forest."
"That's a story for another time." said Wizard, making the knight nod.
"Wait does that mean, Isaac's a gingerbread man as well?" asked Issei incredulously.
"No, I'm actually 100% human(well special human) with benefits." said Isaac, making him understand.
"Are Almond and Walnut also sentient gingerbread men?" asked Asia.
"Yes." nod Wizard.
"You've also found the detective and his junior too?" asked Kumiho in surprise.
"That's right, Kumiho, we'll lead you to them later, after this." said Custard.
"Crap! We forgot!" said Issei, until he realized something, " Me and Asia still don't have a familiar yet!"
"He's right, we still have yet to find ones that are perfect with us." said Asia, looking down sadly.
"I'm sure you guys, will find yours." said Chili, "Probably." She said that last part quietly.
A small figure landed on Asia's head, surprising her. It is revealed to be a small blue dragon with red eyes.
"What's this?" asked Asia curiously.
"Some sort of dragon?" guessed Wizard.
"That is a Sprite Dragon." said a voice groaning.
They saw Zatuji standing up groaning, before regaining his composure.
"Zatuji, your still fine." said Isaac.
"Of course, it can take more to knock this familiar master down." said Zatuji with a smile, " I see the Sprite Dragon has a taking a liking to the young lady..."
"Does that mean..." said Kiba.
"It's cute." said Asia as the Sprite Dragon, snuggled against her.
"That's right, the dragon became her familiar."
"No fair, I didn't get any cute familiars!" cried Issei in despair.
"I'm sure, there's one for you next time, Issei." said Strawberry trying to comfort her friend, "Maybe."
"Is that human really desperate?" asked Kumiho raising a brow.
"Trust us, Kumiho, he truly is." said Chili.
"I see the kumiho, has taken on a different form and already found a master." said Zatuji, seeing Kumiho with Isaac.
"Not a familiar you crazy man." said Kumiho glaring at him.
"I understand, as a familiar master, I respect those who wanted to choose their masters."
"I'm not a- you know what forget it." said Kumiho in annoyance, she then turned to Isaac, "Can I ask what did you do, to make GingerBrave and the others humans in the first place?"
"I simply touch them and infused them with my energy, see." said Isaac, raising his hand that's covered in Chaos Energy.
"Oh. Can you do it for me as well? I wanted to see what, I look like as a human, I bet I'll get prettier."
"Sure and we'll see."
He touch Kumiho on the shoulder, and his energy began to go to Kumiho, as she was engulfed by a cyan light forcing everyone to cover their eyes. When it died down, a new figure appeared which made Rias and her peerage surprised by this along with Zatuji, Issei got jaw dropped seeing Kumiho's new look.
In Kumiho's place, was a very attractive and curvaceous girl(that rivals Chili's body and maybe Strawberry's) with huge breasts(almost bigger compared to Rias and Akeno), she has long cyan hair with fox ears on top of her head, red eyes, a large furry cyan fox tail, and light skin. She has a white top that wrapped around her breasts tightly with a pink string attached to her top with the end having a pink flower piece, a large red skirt that reached down her feet, white stockings, and red slippers.
(A/N: For some men of culture, asking what body Kumiho is based on, it's Kuroka(DxD). I bet that made some of you happy for the fanservice, huh?)
"I look prettier, as a human now!" said Kumiho, happily as she enjoyed her new look.
"Wow, she does look pretty." commented GingerBrave.
"You can say that." said Wizard.
"Now this is fascinating to see." said Zatuji in interest, as he cup his chin.
"Damn it, Isaac, you managed to score a hot fox chick!" cursed Issei, "Can I have her instead?"
Before Isaac can answer, Issei was then blasted by Kumiho who looks annoyed by him.
"Not interested in you, besides Isaac looks more interesting compared to you." said Kumiho with a smirk, as she goes near him which surprised Isaac.
"Uh, you're a bit too close, Kumiho." said Isaac getting uncomfortable.
"Why not? I want to get to know you more." said Kumiho with a smile.
Strawberry and Chili glared at her when she did that.
"She didn't have to get close to him." thought Strawberry.
"That sly fox!" thought Chili in annoyance.
"This is one strange day in getting familiars." said Rias, sensing there's more to Isaac's powers than she thought.
"You said it, Buchou." said Akeno.
After that, Asia was then told to do an incantation ritual to form a contract with her familiar much to the fascination of Wizard making him record it to the fullest, the Sprite Dragon is on top of a green magic circle and was glowing green.
"I-In the name of Asia Argento, I order you to form a contract as my familiar." said Asia.
The green glow on the dragon then died down, as it look up at her.
"Alright it's done, well done Asia." said Akeno.
"Now that's cool." commented Isaac.
"I'm definitely gonna do familiar magic if we go back to our world." said Wizard.
The Sprite Dragon, then leap up towards her arms and began to snuggle against her, much to her joy.
"That tickled, Rassei." giggled Asia.
"Aw, that's cute." cooed Strawberry.
"Such a glorious new bond between Master and Familiar." said Custard, silently wishing he can have a familiar too.
"Rassei?" asked Issei.
"Yes, since he shoots lightning and took part of it from your name as well." explained the former nun, with a small blush.
"Well it's good." said Issei in a sheepish tone.
"These two are so close together." thought GingerBrave with a smile.
He approaches the little dragon, "Nice to meet you, Rassei." Issei was about to give it a pet, but he got electrocuted making him scream in pain as he fall down.
"I guess he doesn't like Issei." said Isaac.
"Well he deserves it." smirked Kumiho, covering her face with her fan.
"Forgot to mention, but male dragons hate all males of other species." explained Zatuji.
"Dude you truly need to give out the important details first." said the wanderer with a sweatdrop.
"Oh, Rassei you mischievous lizard." said Rias.
"Why did you have to die, Slime-taro?! At least gift me that great power of yours!" wailed Issei to the sky.
After that, all of them returned back to the clubhouse, and Isaac along with his cookie friends parted ways with them, going back to the inn. While they were walking the cookie humans told Kumiho, that the necklace on Isaac's neck can lead them to the Cookie Kingdom much to her joy.
"Also Kumiho now that you're with us, there's something serious we need to talk." Isaac in a serious tone, ready to talk about his mission since she's gonna be involved now.
"What is it?" asked Kumiho curiously.
The rest of the cookie humans, already know what Isaac is talking about and they knew that they need all the help they can get, especially from the rest of their cookie friends when they find all of them.

Another Cookie from Cookie Run has joined in and it's Kumiho Cookie the sly one, I can already see you guys simping for her huh?
It also revealed that Isaac cannot nosebleed around half-naked women, cause he can't since he doesn't know how that works.
If you're a Cookie Run player and you're curious about which timeline of Cookie Run Kingdom took place, you could say it took place after the events of the Dark Cacao Kingdom arc, and way before the Creme Republic saga. Some story elements from OvenBreak are also involved.
I know that all of you can't wait to see Isaac pounding down Riser, rest assured that will come close, and believe me guys, you are in a real treat, cause in the finale of the first part of the DxD saga you'll be surprised.
If all of you are curious about this part: "For some reason, the energy she senses from Isaac feels very distant and familiar. Like the one her family experienced, a long time ago.". It's a surprise and no it's not a sign for Sona to be part of Isaac's harem, it's something else.
And some of you are still curious about the mysterious monster in the end during the fight against Raynare, trust me he'll catch you all off guard. ;)

Special Omake: Meeting other heroes in different realities.
(In this non-canon omake universe, Isaac has unlocked all the forms and he finds all the cookies.)
Team Light universe
Draco Tepes along with team: Victor, Hank, Zack, Aka, Yui, Leonidas, Alex, Shiro, and finally Recorder are glaring at Sid Davis who was laughing madly, the crazy priest summoned a humanoid draconic monster who can adapt to all of their abilities.
"Give it up, Tepes you can't win!" said Sid with a smirk.
"Never as long, as my family's will lived inside of me, we'll stop you!" said Draco.
"That's right, you pathetic excused of a priest." said Victor aiming his guns toward Sid and his monster.
"Tsk such heroic nonsense, kill them!" said the summoner.
The draconic monster roared as it charged toward them along with Team Light, before they can do anything a large rift opened up above them stopping the fight as they look up in shock.
"The hell?" asked Victor.
"What's going on?" asked Zack in confusion.
"Is this more of your work, Sid?" glared Yui.
"Believe me, girl, I was shocked as you are and it's not my work or even my allies." said Sid.
"Then what is it?" asked Shiro.
Recorder narrowed his eyes and he can senses it came from another cosmic force and a different reality. A scream was heard inside the rift surprising them, as someone fall down on the ground causing a dust cloud, it fade away revealing Isaac Furno groaning. Team Light is surprised to see a young man come out of the portal.
"Ow, okay bad idea going to those abnormal rifts. Timekeeper did always warn me to avoid those." said Isaac groaning, as he stands up dusting himself.
He stops and noticed a group of people staring at him including some deranged priest and a monster.
"Uh hello there, lovely evening right?" greeted Isaac in an awkward tone.
"Who are you?" asked Draco.
"Oh, the names Isaac Furno, also known as the Cosmic Wanderer."
"Cosmic Wanderer?" asked Recorder in confusion.
Zack's eyes widened hearing Isaac having the same last name as he along with his team who are shocked.
"Did your dad like have one night stand with another woman?" whispered Aka to his friend.
"No! I highly doubt Belial would do that." said Zack.
"Belial! Does he know him?! Or he talks about another guy named Belial since I did encounter a lot of them." thought Isaac.
"I don't know, who you are but don't get in my way! Kill him!" ordered Sid.
His monster growled and charged at Isaac.
"Look out!' said Draco.
Isaac was prepared and his right fist is covered in energy doing a powerful punch to the monster and sending it across the ground, the team is speechless to see this along with Sid.
"He's strong." said Alex.
"How?" asked the priest summoned.
"If you think, I'm powerless your wrong Mr. Priest. Let me show you my power." said Isaac pulling out the Orb Ring making Team Light curious about the object, Recorder sense there was power inside of the ring.
He was then engulfed by a blue light, forcing the team to cover their eyes.
ULTRAMAN ORB: SPACIUM ZEPERION
When it died down it shows Ultraman Orb in his Spacium Zeperrion form.
"EEEEHHHH!" said the team.
"Another Ultraman?!" exclaimed Zack.
"You sure he's not your brother or something?" asked Hank.
"For the last time no, but if he is, he probably is better compared to Nyx." said Zack recalling his evil brother.
Orb turns to them, "You guys seemed cool and interesting. Let me help you guys take down this priest wannabe."
They think about it and Draco replied.
"Very well but you'll tell us later on about you." said Draco.
"Sure but give me some sandwiches later on!"
"Kill them along with their mysterious ally!" said Sid.
With that Team Light and their new ally joined forces and fight Sid's monster.
Meanwhile at Zeo's theater with the Isekai Characters...
"The fuck?!" exclaimed Hajime.
"Who is that guy?" asked Felt.
"Why does he share the same last name with Zack and have the same power, is he like a long-lost sibling?" asked Yuna in confusion.
"I'm so confused!" said Lied.
"Is he like a new member of Team Light?" asked Shun curiously.
"Do you know what's going on Zeo?" asked Rimuru.
Zeo just shrugs, "Of course, but it's not my place to tell since it's not canon."
"What the fuck are you talking about?" asked Garfiel in confusion.
