At Capsule Corp, Bulma is seen typing some data into a computer at the lobby while Vegeta rests against the wall and Goku blows a random leaf into the air, hovering it above his face. Each time he breaths in, the leaf comes back and he sends it into the air, almost like he's playing a game of control.

Vegeta has his eyebrow raised at Goku, he could never understand his rival, whether he was doing something seriously or if he was turning everything into a joke.

Goku continued this pattern of blowing and breathing, until he breathed in too hard and nearly chocked on the leaf, coughing it back out while Vegeta rolled his eyes. "Idiot..."

"You alright Goku? Do you need water?" Bulma asked.

"I'm fine," Goku said. "Honestly I'm just blowing off some time until Goten finishes that training thing of his."

"Hearing you say 'blowing off time' is so strange, usually if you can help it, you're out training," Bulma said.

"Well I did consider training with Uub, but he had something to do back in his village," Goku said. "Plus I am babysitting Pan."

"Actually you're not, Medaka is," Vegeta said. "She's the one keeping an eye on Pan while she and Bulla play in that room of wild animals."

"They're tame Vegeta, and very friendly," Bulma said. "You know I wouldn't let them play there if it wasn't safe."

"Plus Pan's strong, she can take care of herself and Bulla. She's probably stronger than Gohan when he was that age, and he lived alone on an island for six months," Goku said. "But I am curious Vegeta, are you ever going to train her? I mean, she is Half-Saiyan, it'd be a waste if she didn't train."

"Ask Bulma, I wanted to train her but she turned it down," Vegeta said.

"She's still young Vegeta, I know I let you train Trunks but Bulla's different," Bulma said.

"Is it because she's a girl?" Vegeta asked.

"Don't say it like that, besides does she even look like a fighter?" Bulma asked. "It's just so weird to imagine her fighting, and honestly I'd rather have a kid that didn't do the crazy stuff you guys do."

"Sooner or later she's going to have that instinct to fight, no matter how much it is suppressed," Vegeta said.

"He might have a point," Goku said. "Even though Chi-Chi didn't want me to train Gohan, he still showed that instinct when Raditz came to Earth. But at least we know that if a villain showed up, Bulla might just do what Gohan did back then."

"You can't deny her heritage Bulma," Vegeta said.

"I know but, seeing her is like seeing a little version of me, and I just don't know if I'm comfortable sending my little girl out to fight," Bulma said.

"The choice is yours, I won't force her to train if you don't desire that, but if she comes to me and asks, I may take her up on her offer," Vegeta said.

"If she asks, then it's alright, but until then, I'd rather not think about it," Bulma said.

"Wow, you kind of sound like Chi-Chi now," Goku said.

"Well we are both mothers, but I promise not to get too crazy about it," Bulma said. "Honestly if Trunks gets his license and he does well with it, then maybe there could be a future for Bulla in martial arts if she decides to apply that to becoming a pro hero."

"Tch, Pro Hero. Like you need a license to fight, this society is too tame," Vegeta said. "More than that, this planet is too tame. I guarantee most planets out there don't have Earth's laws, but that's because power is still new to them. Even in these decades of quirks, humans still have yet to reach their full potential."

"I think humans just weren't meant to have powers, I mean, even The Supreme Kai said he was surprised that humans developed these abilities," Goku said. "It's surprising, I figured he'd of all Gods know how humans are since the Kais created the humans."

"Maybe you should ask more about it," Bulma said. "It'd be great if we understood more about humans and whether or not they're meant to have these abilities."

"Sure, I'll try to remember that," Goku said.

Moments later, Seto Kaiba came through the front door, "Bulma, I'm here to get my gear."

"Give it a second, something happened and my workers are reorganizing it," Bulma said.

"Huh? What happened?" Kaiba cautiously asked.

"Ask Kakarot," Vegeta said. "He was the one screwing around."

Goku raised his eyebrow in confusion, "Hey it's not like I broke anything!"

"Good grief," Kaiba said. "Whatever, I don't mind waiting, as long as it doesn't take too long. I have my own business to run."

"Oh Kaiba, guess what," Goku said. "Goten and Trunks are going for their Provisional Licenses!"

"Wait, really?" Kaiba asked. "What brought that on? All Might's retirement?"

"Probably," Goku said.

"Well good on them, it'd definitely bring great publicity to Capsule Corp," Kaiba said. "If Goten needs a sponsor, I might consider doing so myself, assuming he proves to be a capable hero."

"Vegeta said he'll let his daughter go pro too," Goku said.

"If she wants to!" Bulma corrected.

"Isn't she like four years old?" Kaiba asked. "But of course that is usually the peak of when a kid develops a quirk, and when that kid decides whether or not to pursue heroics."

"Bulla hasn't developed a quirk per say, but being half alien would affect that," Bulma said.

"Quirks technically exist on Planet Vegeta though, don't they?" Kaiba asked.

"Yes, we just call them mutations," Vegeta said. "The first sign of them were the fact that we grew tails, then some just had strange power potential."

"Like Broly, right?" Goku asked.

"Yes, he was born stronger than most babies because of that mutation," Vegeta said. "Bulla's quirk so to say would be related to a Saiyan's power rather than anything you'd find on Earth than some super power as humans call it."

"Senpai!" Came Medaka's voice, the girl holding Bulla and Pan under both her arms. "We had a little trouble in the animal room. I think a light fuse blew and-"

The sound of animals running the halls began to take over, freaking Bulma and the others out, "Quick! Lock the place down before the animals escape!"

"Looks like there's trouble," Vegeta said. "Medaka, leave the kids with Kaiba, you, me and Kakarot are going to tame these animals."

"Yes senpai!" Medaka said. "Alright girls, you go with big brother Seto, me along with Vegeta-senpai and Goku are going to fix this issue."

"You got it big sis," Bulla said.

"Good luck," Pan said.

The trio rushed off to fix the situation with Bulma following after while Seto stayed behind with the two girls.

"Big brother Seto, can you show me that cool Duel Monsters move that you did the other day? I wanted to show Pan but I forgot," Bulla said.

"Sure, take a seat, and let me show you why I'm the top Duelist in the region," Kaiba said.

"I thought that was Yugi Moto?" Pan asked, earning a deadpanned look from Kaiba.

"Seto's way cooler, he has the Blue Eyes White Dragon, all three of them!" Bulla said.

"Got that right," Kaiba said, setting the cards out.

Meanwhile back at the Licensing exam. The next part of the test was starting, Gang Orca leading his invasion into town, ready to test the students in their combat and rescue abilities.

"Another attack!?" Oujiro asked. "They're really pushing our limits, aren't they?"

"Right by the first aid station too!" Tokoyami said.

"He's endangering all those kids and old people?" Mina asked in disbelief. "That's so mean!"

"There's a lot of bystanders that need to be rescued, but we can't just ignore the villains," Tsuyu said.

"Yes, I know," Shoto said.

Mara looked over his notes once again, "For this test, the students start with a certain number of points, and judged by how many they lose. HUC determines if someone is acting properly during their rescue, like if the examinee responsibly uses their quirk. Plus 100 members of the safety committee scoring everyone individually. A student will immediately fail if the score falls below sixty points. For everyone's sake, they better have the patience for smart decisions."

"Get everyone to safety!" Shindo shouted.

"Huh! Wait, Shindo!" Izuku protested.

"Get them as far from the villains as possible!" Shindo said as he placed his hands down. "I'll hammer away at the henchmen at one minute intervals!"

He began attacking the henchmen with his avalanche powers, however Gang Orca had jumped in front of him, using a supersonic wave that knocked Shindo back, "Nice try!"

"Whoa! Check that out!" Joke said in disbelief. "He's going all out!"

"I know they have to train these students, but they're still children, attacking them like that just feels wrong to me," Rarity said, grimacing at the situation.

"Eh, still safer than The Danger Room, though that's more reserved for the actual pros, so it's a moot point," Bobby said.

Gang Orca stood over an unconscious Shindo, "Only one to protect the rear? You underestimated us."

Gang Orca, his quirk, Orcinus. He can do what an Orca does, even on land, such as shooting a supersonic wave to paralyze his prey.

As Gang Orca inched closer to Izuku, he immediately stopped an ice attack, to which Izuku noticed, "Todoroki!?"

"Yo! Izuku!" Mayday said, landing down near the boy.

"Mayday, you're here too?" Izuku asked.

"Yeah, everyone else seems to have followed me," Mayday said, gesturing to the other students. "I got here first though, just though I'd point that out."

"Midoriya! Are you evacuating!?" Oujiro asked. "Let us help!"

"Where have you guys been?" Izuku asked.

"We found hurt people by the river," Oujiro said. "Everyone was searching in the city, we were searching the outskirts. Yaoyorozu and Asui are looking for survivors, we however couldn't stand by and let the villains run amok."

Shoto tried using his ice to attack Gang Orca, the marine based hero blasting his supersonic wave, "Your power is nothing!"

"He's strong, probably shouldn't be a surprise given his hero ranking," Shoto said, then felt some wind nearby.

"I'm gonna blow you all away!" Inasa shouted, blasting the henchmen villains back and surprising Gang Orca. "Wow, they really are pulling out all the stops today, a second villain attack? Incredible!"

Shoto was surprised to see Inasa, the feeling being mutual with the wind based hero. "It's you!"

"That's my line!" Inasa said.

Izuku took note of the oncoming new ally. "It's that guy who turned down UA."

"Good timing, let the strong attackers hold the villains back while we escape," Oujiro said.

"Wait, strong! I'm strong!" Mayday said. "I should go-"

"Mayday, stay focused. Do what your dad would do," Izuku said.

"Er, right. Daddy would want the civilians somewhere safe," Mayday said, assisting the hostages. "Still, I don't want to lose too much glory out there, Izuku doesn't get to see me fight much, I gotta make a good impression on him."

"Excellent, the students are prioritizing the safety of the civilians, while allowing the two more suited students to hold back Gang Orca," a man noted. "Nice work on their behalf."

Goten was amazed from where he was in the air, "Say what you will, those two have incredible abilities."

"It's nothing compared to us," Trunks said.

Goten looked down below, seeing all the fleeing students, "Should we help them? I mean this is a rescue exercise."

"You go, I'll catch up," Trunks said as Goten flew off. "Those two look like they're ready to burst, I'll stay behind and wait for them to self-destruct, then come in like a hero to save the day."

"Hey! Shouldn't you be off helping the others? Your quirk is better suited for that!" Shoto said. "Leave the villain to me!"

Inasa ignored him, focusing his wind while Shoto focused his fire, Gang Orca anticipating this, "Here they come..."

The two attacked together, though the attack failed due to the wind and fire getting mixed up together, and sparing the actor villains.

"Why'd you use your flames! Heat makes air rise up!" Inasa shouted at the boy.

"Because he didn't fall to my ice earlier! You ruined my shot on purpose!" Shoto accused, angering Inasa. "Your wind blew away my fire!"

"Good, self destruct..." Trunks said, waiting for his moment.

"You blocked me to prevent me from taking my shot!" Inasa shouted, this fighting getting Izuku's attention.

"Are you nuts!? I wouldn't do something that petty!" Shoto shouted, Mayday noticing as well.

"What the hell are those two doing? If this was a real attack they'd be dead!" The girl prepared to step in if things didn't get any better.

"You absolutely would do something this petty, you are the son of Endeavor after all!" Inasa shouted.

"What does my old man even have to do with this!?" Shoto shouted. "This has nothing to do with-"

"Watch out Shoto!" Mayday shouted, but it was in vain as a henchmen hit Shoto in the arm with a grey substance.

"That's my cement gun," A henchman said. "Good luck moving through that."

"The fact that you're even arguing is shameful," Gang Orca scolded as more of the henchmen began firing their cement, to which Shoto quickly created an ice shield.

"This has everything to do with your cold-blooded father!" Inasa said, recalling the first time he met Endeavor. "Heroes should be full of passion, leading others with hope and inspiration!" Inasa then remembered trying to get an autograph, only to have his pen and paper smacked away. "It was a shock to meet your father. All I could see in his eyes was anger aimed at the entire world!"

"Sounds like this guy had his dreams crushed, reality is a tough mistress at times," Trunks said.

"Then I remembered the entrance exams!" Inasa said, dodging the cement as he began recalling his time entering UA months ago. "I saw you, and I knew you were his son, because you had the same eyes!"

"You honestly believe we're the same?" Shoto asked, as more cement got aimed at his ice. "You are such a fool." "I have to stop listening, he's just a guy who hates my father. Like Flurry said, he doesn't know the real me. I have to stay focused, I feel nothing towards my father...No, that's wrong, I can still feel the hate. Dammit! Flurry, what would you say at a time like this?"

From the distance, Flurry stopped to stare into the distance, a look of worry etched on her face, "What's going on? Why do I feel so worried all of a sudden? Is it because of that explosion earlier? That's part of the test so no one's in real danger, yet I feel like..."

"Flurry! No time for distractions!" Kirishima called.

"Uh...right!" Flurry went to follow the boys.

Back with the two bickering boys, the pro taking the role of a villain had nothing but disappointment for their poor behavior.

"A villain in front of you, and you've done nothing," Gang Orca scolded, something even Mara noticed and was annoyed by.

"You and your father are the only heroes I won't accept! Now move!" Inasa shouted, sending another wind attack, only for Shoto to block it with his fire. "Again!? Are you serious right now!?"

It was then that the fire went straight for an unconscious Shindo, to the worry of Shoto and Insasa.

"I'll grab-" Mayday was about to use her webbing to pull Shindo out the way, but Izuku left to grab him instead. "Or, you can do it."

Izuku had successfully pulled Shindo away, getting him to safety while sending a glare at the two bickering heroes, "Dammit! What are you two doing!? This isn't the time for petty arguing!"

"Ooh...he's mad now," Mayday commented, then took notice of how surprised both Shoto and Inasa were. "Takes the angry nice guy to get through to people."

In the mind of Inasa, he could recall a lot of things from childhood, such as playing with bugs, to the discomfort of some female students, "As a young boy, I could find a reason to like anything. Which is why when I knew what a hero was, I knew that's what I wanted to be. Seeing greats like Superman, Captain America and All Might, heroes who exemplify the passion required, because they would do anything to keep people safe. Which is why I could not understand Endeavor, and his eyes full of hatred. He was the only one I couldn't understand."

Flashback

"Rock on! The written part of the Recommendation Exam is over! The Practical is next!" Present Mic declared. "Then comes the interview, where you'll go six at a time! The exam is a three kilometer race, but there's an obstacle course so you can't just run through it! Use your quirks to reach the finish!"

"Hey," came the voice of Franklin Richards, the boy right beside Inasa. "Good luck to you out there."

"Thank you! I wish you luck as well!" Inasa excitedly declared. "It's an honor to be here with you! You're the son of Mr. Fantastic and The Invisible Woman, correct!?"

"Yeah, that's me, I'm Franklin Richards," the boy greeted.

"Inasa Yoarashi!" the other contestant greeted. "I'm amazed you came to school in Japan! Surely someone like you has all the tools back home to be great!"

"Well my uncle, The Human Torch, he came here as a kid, and my friends were interested as well," Franklin said. "So I figured I'd come try out. Since my family is The Fantastic Four, my parents and my uncles made some calls, and now I'm here. I hear UA is an amazing school, and I want to see for myself what it has to offer. I've even taken crash courses on Japanese to make sure I'd make it here no problem."

"I respect your passion! You will make a fine hero!" Inasa said.

"Hey rockstars, digging seeing the two of you bond, but the race is about to go down, do well and you'll have plenty of chances to form a bro-hood," Present Mic said.

The exam began, Insasa rushed through the course, "The best school in Japan, the most passionate training grounds, I can't wait-" Suddenly Shoto rushed past him with his ice, surprising Insasa. "Making an ice path, smart move. I didn't like the look in his eyes, but his abilities are amazing! Though if he becomes accepted, maybe I can be friends with him, and his eyes won't bother me!"

Insasa cranked up the speed and beat Shoto in the race, amazing Present Mic, "41 wins by a hair! And wow! Three minutes faster than the average time!"

"Yes! I won!" Inasa cheered, then turned to Shoto. "You were amazing too! I bet you're Endeavor's son, right!? Maybe we can race again and-"

"Will you shut up!" Shoto snapped. "I just came to pass some stupid test, whether I beat you or not means nothing to me. Now get out of my way."

"Those eyes...full of hate," Inasa noted.

End Flashback

"I can't believe those two are fighting," Rarity said. "I know this is technically a competition, but they should still treat this like the real thing."

"That implies this wouldn't happen in the real world" Bobby said. "It's not unlike a so-called Pro Hero to steal another's glory. I'd be amazed if the judges actually fail them for 'acting real'."

"Wish I could disagree with him, but those who crave that spotlight would do anything for it," Aizawa mentally noted.

"I know I shouldn't be talking when it comes to hogging the glory though, I was no different, even now I can be a bit of a show-off, but these kids should know better, make use of the poor decisions we made back in the day and know how to surpass those," Bobby mentally lamented. "Unfortunately, some things just don't change."

Shoto began to recognize Inasa, "He has wind powers! Now I remember him, he beat me at the Recommendation Exam. Why couldn't I remember? He's so loud and obnoxious. I guess I couldn't see past my own hate at the time. I did everything to ignore who I am, and it sounds like it's catching up to me. I can't just forget what's happened." Suddenly Flurry passed through his mind, recalling his conversation with the girl earlier. "You were right, Flurry. There's a lot for me to consider. I hope these Friendship Lessons you mentioned include coming to terms with my mistakes."

"Enough, first I'll stop the winds!" Gang Orca said, blasting Inasa from the sky, much to the delight of his henchmen. He then grabbed Shoto by the neck, blasting him with his supersonic attack, leaving him stunned. "You reap what you sew." He turned his attention to Inasa. "He was too far away, he's not done yet."

"Come on, let's turn that medical station to cement!" A henchman said, running in the direction of the other heroes.

"Shit, how did I end up like this?" Inasa wondered. "I became everything I hated!"

"This is my own fault! I created this mess!" Shoto felt.

"I have to fix this!"

"Oh no! They're gonna catch us!" Mina noted as she ran off with the survivors.

Mayday aimed her webbing, "Don't worry, I can take-" Shindo then created shockwaves across the ground to stumble the henchmen, slightly annoying Mayday. "Or...you can too." "It's really hard to show off here."

"Shindo, you can move?" Izuku asked.

"Barely, but I can still use my quirk to an extent," Shindo said. "Actually since soundwaves and vibrations aren't too different, I could build up great tolerance to Gang Orca's quirk. Damn, I wanted a surprise attack on that whale! Those two first years ruined it for me!"

"Well communication isn't their strong suit," Mayday noted, Izuku side-eyeing her.

"Anyway, I tripped the henchmen, you two can take them out," Shindo said. "We'll split up and take everyone to the shelter."

"I have a better idea," Mayday said. "Izuku, you can handle the henchmen, I'm going after Gang Orca."

"Is that a good idea?" Izuku asked.

"If I'm anything like my dad, I have a pretty good tolerance to stuff like that myself," Mayday said. "I mean, it shouldn't be too different than Shocker's gauntlets. Granted I've never fought him, but-"

"Now's not the time for tales of your father, if you're gonna do something, get going!" Shindo ordered.

"Fine, bossy," Mayday said, dashing towards Gang Orca. "Leave this to me!"

Back with Gang Orca, he still had control of the situation at hand, "I'll handle the wind user, you all make sure those other heroes are dealt with."

As Shoto fell to the ground, he continued to lament, "We competed with each other for no reason, our quirks are incompatible. We can't beat a top hero like this, I hope he understands too."

From the air, Trunks looked satisfied, "Both those losers are down, now's my chance!" The boy powered up and flew in, "You're going-" Gang Orca turned and blasted Trunks with his supersonic waves, stunning the half-breed. "Impossible...how can he..."

"You seem like the type to focus on raw power, but that means nothing if your opponent can restrict it," Gang Orca scolded. "You also took your sweet time too reaching me too. You probably thought you had the fight won, so you decided to savor the moment. How foolish."

"Bet that quirk won't work with me!" Mayday shouted, rushing in herself. "I'm a Spider!"

"Stop her!" the henchmen said, blasting their cement guns, to which Mayday quickly dodged out of the way.

"Too easy," Mayday started webbing their cement guns, rendering them unusable, "My dad's webbing is stronger than what you have. You don't stand a chance."

"Don't get cocky!" Gang Orca shouted, sending his waves at Mayday, which she quickly avoided, firing some webbing at him and landing near her classmate.

"Shoto, can you move?" Mayday asked.

"No...my body's too numb," Shoto said. "I can use my quirk, but-"

"Do it, try using your fire again, I'm gonna see if I can get that wind guy to help too," Mayday said. "Combining your elements the right way should get the job done."

"Huh?" Shoto said, then recalled what Inasa said earlier about the flames rising from the wind. "Maybe it can work out. Spider-Man is a scientist of sorts, hopefully his daughter got this tip from whatever he's done."

Mayday rushed in, dodging another blast from Gang Orca and landed near Insasa, "Hey, Airbender guy."

"Huh?" Inasa looked up. "You're Spider-Man's daughter."

"The one and only, look I don't know why you hate Shoto, but if you want to pass this exam, you gotta put that behind you," Mayday said. "Part of being a hero means putting your pride aside for others, prove that you can fight for the greater good. Your quirk can work with his if you mix it right. Use your wind to make his flames rise!"

"Yes, you're right...I have to try..." Inasa said, readying his wind.

"I'll clear out so-HEY!" Mayday took a shot from a cement gun, the material hardening immediately. "Damn! I should have been able to avoid that! How did I...?"

"You!" Gang Orca immediatley grabbed her by the face, lifting her up. "Clever trick little girl, but your power alone can't stop me."

"Hands off, Willy!" Mayday said, trying to kick the whale creature.

"Gotta move fast!" Shoto said, raising his flames. "Work with me, wind guy."

Fortunately for him, Inasa used his wind powers to latch onto Shoto's flame, sending it around Gang Orca, keeping him blocked in a wall of fire and wind.

"Whoa, check that out," Goten said, the boy helping some of the actors.

"Wait, isn't Mayday in the middle of that too!?" Mina asked. "What if she gets hurt?"

"She won't, they're not trying to harm Gang Orca, just distract him," Goten said. "Still, probably should get Mayday out of there, this might leave her dehydrated."

"Watch out!" Oujiro said, gesturing to some oncoming enemies.

"It never ends," Goten said, going for the attack.

Gang Orca dropped Mayday the moment he realized he was trapped, "Neither boy can move their body, yet they've both managed enough control of their quirks. Yoarashi's wind mixed with Todoroki's fire is creating a wall to keep me away from the hostages. It won't make up for their foolishness earlier, but it's a good start. They realized their mistake, I have to admire their persistence." He looked down to the spider girl, coughing from situation she found herself in, "Wonder if this girl had anything to do with that? If she's anything like her father, she might have a gift for gab."

"Hey, the boss is trapped in a fire tornado!" A henchman said.

"That's bad, he's an orca, if he gets dried up, he'll be weak," another said.

"Stop that tornado!" a third henchman said, using his cement gun to attack Shoto, the boy blocking with his ice. "Wait, did Todoroki just use both powers!?"

"Using both my abilities is tough, but this is a good start, hopefully I can improve on this some more," Shoto kept his fire going.

"Should we go help?" A guy asked, then took a kick from Izuku, surprising his allies.

"Quick! Everyone, attack!" Izuku ordered.

"I got this one!" Goten said, kicking a henchmen into more and blasting some of their cement guns.

"Leave these guys to me," Oujiro said, using his martial arts skills to bring a few down himself, making great use of his tail.

"Nice moves, karate boy," Goten said.

"Thanks," Oujiro turned to Izuku. "The injured have all been evacuated."

"Good, and reinforcements should be on their way," Izuku said, then turned his attention to Goten. "Hey, can you keep these guys distracted? I want to go see if I can pull Mayday out. I don't feel right leaving her in there."

"Me neither," Goten said. "Alright, if you can pull it off, go for it Broccoli Kid."

"It's Deku," Izuku corrected.

"Uh, right, Deku..." Goten said. "Such a dumb name, but whatever he's comfortable with."

"Hey, what's that other guy doing?" Oujiro said, gesturing to Trunks, the boy charging some energy.

"I won't let you make a fool out of me!" Trunks raised his hands up. "FINISH BUS-"

"Don't!" Izuku shouted, kicking Trunks' hands and knocking the attack away, destroying part of the building's roof.

"Holy Jesus!" Bobby shouted.

"Was that one of your kids, Iceman!?" Miss Joke asked. "How much power does he have!?"

"Way too much," Bobby said. "Good thing that Izuku kid was there."

"But Trunks does not look too happy," Rarity noted.

A now angry Trunks grabbed Izuku by the shirt, "What the hell are you doing!? Trying to ruin things for me you little brat!?"

"I should be asking that! You could have hurt someone, including my friend!" Izuku shouted, trying to pull himself away.

"Who? Mayday!? She's a tough girl, she can handle an energy blast," Trunks shouted, just as Oujiro and Goten helped free Izuku from Trunks's grasp.

"Excuse me, but we're supposed to be working together this time around!" Oujiro said.

"I don't need you weaklings; I can do this on my own!" Trunks shouted, focusing back on Gang Orca.

"Not like that! Do it the right way! Heroes don't endanger their allies!" Izuku shouted, focusing on the flame tornado. "And I have to save mine!"

"Another argument in the middle of a fight," Gang Orca realized. "Though unlike before, this seems to be more one-sided. The other boys were trying to keep their comrade from causing more harm rather than trying to one-up him, and one of them seems adamant to rescue Spider-Man's daughter. In this line of work, sometimes allies will be non-compliant, it's how you handle yourself in that situation that shows how suited you are."

"I'm coming Mayday!" Izuku said, rushing toward the fire, Goten using some ki to generate a bit of wind to open the flames for the boy as he leapt through, ready to fight. "I'm here to take my friend back!"

"Izuku?" Mayday said, feeling a bit ashamed. "I was hoping to be cool for you, not a damsel you have to save. Still, getting rescued by a cute boy isn't without it's benefits, as long as it doesn't totally ruin my reputation."

"Sometimes, in addition to rescuing hostages, a hero must be ready to save one of their own," Gang Orca noted. "It does seem like this boy is just winging it without a plan, I can't fault him too much though, in situations of life and death, one must make quick decisions, thinking quickly on your feet takes some degree of experience."

Trunks looked ready to send another blast, but Goten stood in the way, "That's enough!"

"Who's side are you on!?" Trunks asked.

"The hero's side, where you should be!" Goten scolded. "I'm all for messing with Mayday in good fun, but you're taking it too far. I mean think, would your other self do this!?"

"Screw that other me! I'm tired of the comparisons! All he has is a damn sword! I've been trained by my father since birth, which is more than can be said about him!" Trunks said.

Goten's eyes widened in surprise, "What happened to you? I mean, you used to look up to him."

"I grew up, just like you grew out of idolizing The Great Saiyaman," Trunks said.

"Is that what you think?" Goten asked in shock. "All these years, I mean, do you even know me bro? The only person I respect as much as my father is my brother. Regardless of his lame costume, underneath all that is a hero who's always willing to help! You...you're acting just like those stories about your father from when he first came to Earth."

"Why you!" Trunks immediately through a punch at Goten, the boy blocking and trying to hold his friend back. "Don't act like you know me!"

"Dude, we've been Gotenks together, I think I know as much about you as I need to!" Goten shouted pushing back against Trunks.

"Then you'll remember that I've always been stronger than you!" Trunks shouted, turning Super Saiyan.

"People grow!" Goten shouted, turning as well. "I'm not that weak kid!"

"Yeah, you're the weak adult who gets beaten up by your niece!" Trunks shouted.

"I...LET...HER...WIN!" Goten immediately punched Trunks against a building, powering out afterwards.

"Hey, are you alright there?" Oujiro asked.

"I'm fine...hope that wasn't against the rules but he wasn't leaving me much of a choice," Goten said.

"I fully understand that, hopefully you won't be penalized," Oujiro said. "Also was that your Super Saiyan ability? So you can transform like your brother?"

"Yeah, I learned it when I was seven, my brother was amazed at how early I learned it. Anyway I'm fine, let's just focus on what we need to do," Goten said. "We still have people to save."

From above, Mara was still overlooking the test, "Seems like almost all of H.U.C. has been rescued. There's about three of them left. All they have to do is hold back Gang Orca and soon, I'll be able to get some sleep."

Nearby Mina had taken out some henchmen herself, "Hey everyone! Miss me!?"

"We're here to help," Tokoyami said.

"Oh hey, UA Kids" Goten said. "Wow, that pink girl has some nice curves, that suit sure does wonders for her."

"My name's Mina," the girl said. "Aren't you Saiyaman's little brother?"

"It's Goten, soon that's what people will know me as, not for who my brother or father are," Goten said. "You know, I'd like to get to know you too, how about we-"

"Watch out!" Oujiro said as some more henchmen came over. A bunch of them were taken out by a tongue, courtesy of Tsuyu.

"Oh hey Tsu, nice camouflage," Mina said.

"Camouflage?" Oujiro asked.

"Yeah, it's a trick I've been developing," Tsuyu said. "With Camouflage I can completely turn invisible, or rather I blend into my background."

"So wait, are you a chameleon?" Goten asked.

"No, I'm a frog, they can use camouflage too," Tsuyu said.

"Wow that's educational. Guess my mom was wrong, I can learn about stuff through heroics," Goten said.

"Ribbit! Watch out!" Tsuyu said, gesturing to some enemies.

Fortunately Mora had shown up with his hair, "I sent Inasa here to help, but he's disgraced our school with his actions. No enemies should remain standing!"

"Wow, that guy's strong," Oujiro said.

"Really hairy too, and that's coming from a Saiyan descendant," Goten said.

In the cyclone, Gang Orca began applying water to himself as Izuku knelt by Mayday, "This trick is impressive, and most villains would be begging for mercy. But what happens when your plan fails? You must always be planning your next move!"

The mock villain generated enough power to completely destroy the tornado of fire, Izuku having leapt back to safety with Mayday in his arms, "Such power!"

"He's holding me in his arms! Mayday mentally geeked, a blush on her face. "Holy crap, I'm actually in his arms! Oh God his body feels so firm too! I will make you mine someday, Izuku Midoriya!"

"So...what now!?" Gang Orca asked.

Mayday snapped out of her fantasy, much as she liked being in Izuku's arms, the test wasn't over yet, "Izuku! We gotta keep Gang Orca distracted!"

"Right!" Izuku said, putting her down. Hey you! Get away from them!"

Izuku rushed in for a kick that Gang Orca blocked, "Midoriya!"

"How does he have so much energy!?" Shoto wondered.

"Now's my chance!" Mayday rushed in, ready to fight. "Time for a Crawler-"

Suddenly the alarm went off, "All of the HUC members have officially been rescued."

"Wait, we were the last ones?" Kaminari said, the boy with some hostages alongside Kirishima and Flurry.

"I think we missed all the action too, bummer," Kirishima said.

"So with that, the Provisional License Exams have been completed," Mara said.

"OH COME ON!" Mayday shouted in annoyance.

"Once we tally the scores, we'll announce the results here in the arena," Mara continued. "Anyone injured should go to the infirmary. Otherwise feel free to change clothes and wait wherever you'd like."

"Sorry boss, guess we didn't go a good enough job," a henchman said. "Plus that restrictive gear probably made it hard to move."

"The gear wasn't the problem," Gang Orca said. "That tower of flame was an inspired attack. Plus Midoriya's attack had a lot of power, mixed with Parker's abilities, chances are we would have lost anyway. Hehe...how interesting."

Everyone had changed back into their school clothes and met in front of Mara's screen, "Everyone, thank you for your hard work in today's exam. Before I announce the results, I should explain how we evaluated you."

"Here it comes...Mayday was worried, not just for herself, but for Izuku. She knew this was his chance, and she could tell he was just as nervous himself.

"Between H.U.C. and those of us in the Heroes Safety Commission, we had a two-fault demerit system that would be used to total your score. In other words, it was more about how few mistakes you made in a crisis situation. Those of us who passed are listed here in alphabetical order. Keep my words in mind as you search the screen."

Immediately a bunch of names were listed, all the students immediately searching for their names.

"Dammit, I have a hard time with Kanji..." Mayday lamented as she tried searching for her name.

"There's English there too, that's the part listed alphabetically" Tsuyu reassured. "It's a bit small though."

"I'll find it," Mayday said.

"Midoriya! Midoriya!" Izuku searched, hoping to find his name. It did not take him long to find the answer he was looking for.

Also during this time, Peter was making his way toward Capsule Corp, the hero muttering in annoyance, "I can't believe Twilight is out of the house, I mean for Heaven's sake, what if she's still hurt and doesn't realize it? She can be so stubborn sometimes."

As he was on his way, he spotted a woman picking up some groceries that she dropped. Everyone walking past her in the process, some even kicking her food out of the way, intentionally or not.

"What, no one can lend their time to help a woman out? And they say people from New York are rude," Peter leapt beside the woman. "Mind if I help you ma'am?"

Peter got a good look at the woman in question, her face was huge, while she definitely looked human, she definitely looked a bit amphibious. "Oh, thank you sir!"

"Whoa, not what I was expecting, wondering if this is why people ignored her. Not that it makes it right, she's a woman who needs help." Pete waved it off, it's no big deal, just being your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man."

Once the groceries were back in the bags, with Peter webbing the outside it for good measure to keep it stronger, but not too much so that she couldn't grab onto it. "Thank you so much!"

"It's nothing, I do this a lot back in Queens, there's more to being Spider-Man than beating up bad guys," Peter said, removing his mask. "This is the type of thing that anyone can do, not just a hero."

"You set a good example, one I hope my daughter follows when she turns pro," the woman said.

"Your daughter?" Peter asked, now finding this woman even more familiar. "Let me guess, your kid goes to UA."

"Yes, she does, her name is Tsuyu," the woman said.

"Right, I know her, my wife got to test her abilities once," Peter said. "Your daughter's really nice Mrs. Asui."

"Call me Beru," the woman said.

"You got it," Peter said. "Wow, you're like the fifth UA parent I met today, feels like a small world. Or fate."

"Perhaps, the world is a mysterious place," Beru said. "It is by fate that you happened to be by when I needed you."

"That's luck, which usually works against my favor," Peter said. "Though if luck means meeting the parents of aspiring heroes with amazing potential, then I guess my luck isn't that bad."

"Hey, if I may ask, how often do you go to UA nowadays? Are you official staff?" Beru asked.

"No, I have permission to go to the school and train the students, just the other day I trained with your daughter and her entire class," Peter explained.

"Yes, she mentioned that, she said it was fun, even if she didn't do to well," Beru said.

"She's still learning, she actually does really well under pressure too," Peter said.

"I'm happy to know, I just hope she's doing well now," Beru said. "She's had a really lonely life prior to joining UA. Most kids would avoid her or tease her about her appearance."

"Huh? What's there to tease? Your daughter's adorable, must be because she takes after her mother," Peter said.

Beru blushed a bit from the compliment, "Oh you're just saying that, but I do appreciate it."

"The compliment was in good fun but I do mean it, your daughter's a pretty girl, and she's very kind, Peter said. "That's all that matters, and she has friends that value that kindness of her. They respect Tsuyu for who she is. Seems like you and your husband did an amazing job raising her."

"Ganma and I did our best with Tsuyu and our other two children, if at least, she knows not to let others bother her too much," Beru said.

"People are gonna be jerks, but those people are not worth Tsuyu's time," Peter said.

"Yes, you're right, she has friends she cares about and that's all that matters," Beru said. "We even found out about a boy she likes."

"Oh, she told you?" Peter asked.

"Sort of, she blurted it out without thinking," Beru said. "She tends to do that, she speaks her mind and doesn't realize the consequences until later. Sometimes she might say something rude, but it's not her intention to be rude, though we do scold her if she is."

"So she just admitted to liking a guy, huh?" Peter asked. "Well my niece is in her class and she picks this stuff up well, and I think I might know the guy she likes. He's a good kid, so if he likes her back then you know your daughter would have a caring boyfriend."

"I have faith, Ganma however...he can be a bit overprotective," Beru said.

"That's dads for you, we keep an eye out for our daughters," Peter said. "I get just as worried about Mayday, but it's her choice who she dates, I just hope I raised her well enough to be responsible in her dating life."

"Yes, Ganma and I must trust her too, it's hard but if we want her to grow up to be a strong, capable adult, it's a choice we must abide by," Beru said.

"Hey! Check it out! A flying woman!" a bystander said.

Peter looked up to see Twilight flying through the air, "It's my wife. Sorry Beru, I gotta go and check on her, make sure she's fully recovered from her injury."

"Oh yes, I remember that, my daughter was crying so much when she saw you get hurt," Beru said.

"Was she?" Peter said. "Wow, didn't know I meant that much, but she seems very empathetic so I'm not surprised."

"It felt like more than that though, she kept apologizing too, like if what happened to you was her fault," Beru said.

"That's weird, why would she think it's her fault? Does she feel guilty about Katsuki getting kidnapped?" Peter wondered. "I'll ask her about it some time. See you later Mrs. Asui!"

As Peter swung off, the frog mother called out, "I told you to call me Beru!"

Twilight continued flying, wanting to take a quick look at the city, "It's nice exploring different parts of this country, wish I had more time to do so. Maybe I should organize a road trip or something."

"Twilight!" Peter called, getting her attention.

"Oh, Peter, didn't expect to see you around here," Twilight said.

"I was on my way to Capsule Corp, then I ran into the mother of one of Mayday's classmates," Peter said. "You wouldn't believe how many parents I met today."

"Well that sounds nice," Twilight said. "It's good to be acquainted with the parents of the students, especially would be heroes."

"I'll tell you all about them later, especially since Izuku's mom invited us to join her for dinner sometime," Peter said.

"You met Izuku's mom? That's so great!" Twilight said.

"But that can wait, for now, what are you doing flying around!? You're still recovering from what All for One did," Peter said.

"I'm fine Peter, I can take a beating too," Twilight said. "I took on Tirek after all, among other powerful enemies."

"I know you're tough but All for One really messed you up," Peter said.

"All I got really was a broken jaw, if anything you had it worse than anyone else, aside from Superman," Twilight said.

"I have accelerated healing; all I need is a good night sleep. Superman just needs to sunbathe and he's top notch again," Peter said. "You don't have any of that."

"Look, Doctor Strange has checked up on me, he even helped with my recovery a little," Twilight said. "I'm fine Peter, I wouldn't do anything I couldn't handle."

"Uh-huh, sure..." Peter sassed.

"Hey don't give me that tone, if anything you worry me way more than I worry you," Twilight said.

"Let's not turn this into a contest," Peter said. "If you say you're alright, then I'll believe you, but I really would have rather you not just go off on your own after I told you to stay put earlier. If something happens, I want to be sure you're safe."

"And who's going to keep you safe?" Twilight asked. "You think it's easy for me to be at home while you're still out here risking your life? I saw the tapes Peter, I saw what All for One did, when he nearly killed you in battle."

"I...let my guard down that time, but it won't happen again," Peter said.

"It won't, because I will be there to make sure it doesn't," Twilight wrapped her arms around her husband. "I love you, and I want to be there for you just as much as you want to be there for me."

"Yeah, I get that," Peter said, wrapping his arms around his wife. "I'm sorry if I get overprotective, but you mean so much to me. All of you do, you, Mayday, Benjy and Peni. You're my family, and I want to protect my family. More than that, I want to protect my friends. One by one I had to see my friends getting hurt, if I can take the load off them then I will."

"Peter, remember what Aunt May tells you. You do way too much," Twilight said.

"Yeah, she'd tell me that I'm not Superman," Peter said.

"Superman also can't do everything himself, if a hero you look up to can accept help, then so can you," Twilight said. "You've been doing this for so long, you have the recourses, don't be afraid to use them."

"Old habits die hard I guess," Peter said.

"That's why I'm here, to remind you of what you have, alright?" Twilight said.

"What would I do without you?" Peter said, then shared a kiss with his wife.

"Thankfully we never have to find out," Twilight said. "Say, the training grounds Mayday is at to get her license isn't too far away, is it? Maybe we can-"

"Peter!" Came Gohan's voice, interrupting the two. "Sorry if you're having a moment, glad you're doing well Twilight."

"You know me Gohan, nothing keeps me down," Twilight said. "Someone has to make sure you boys stay safe."

"Yeah, you're awesome big sis," Gohan said. "Anyway Logan just contacted me, said there's a derailed train several blocks down."

"Oh boy, guess seeing Mayday will have to wait," Peter said.

"This won't take too long, let's work together," Twilight said, flying off.

"Hey wait up!" Peter said, making a call. "Hey Bulma, I ran into Twilight, I won't be coming over."

"That's fine..." Bulma said, seemingly out of breath.

"Something up?" Peter asked.

"Just a mishap, everything's under control," Bulma insisted.

As he caught up, Gohan seemed rather pleased with Twilight's recovery, "That's my big sis, nothing keeps her down. Shame she's so underappreciated, but lots of great heroes are." With that he flew off to join the two, once again maintaining their goal of keeping Japan safe.
