"AHA! I FOUND YOU!"
"Hmm?" Turning her head in disinterest, Elsa gave a bored expression as she eyed the redhead standing before her. "Oh. It's you."
Reinhard stared at her angrily. "Yes! It is me! And I have some things to say to you. You masochist!"
Elsa quirked a brow, her interest steadily rising now. "Oh? Have you learned some new words since our last encounter, Sword Saint?"
"Do not mock me," Reinhard demanded. "I have had enough of your games and tricks. By Od Laguna I swear I will have you in custody by the end of the day!"
"Hmm? You're not going to kill me anymore?" Elsa mock whined. "What happened to that fierce and ruthless Sword Saint who tried to obliterate me last week?"
"I'd rather not do anything that 'gets your rocks off,'" Reinhard said before shuddering. "So instead, I will take you in peacefully, and have you await trial and sentencing by the Sage Council."
"Tch," Elsa scoffed. That was the absolute last thing she wanted. It was the most boring and mundane outcome possible, and she hated the boring and mundane. She'd much rather Reinhard fight her to the death, but she knew she wouldn't sway his conviction so easily.
"Well I hate to break it to you, Sword Saint. But I'm not going anywhere. You'll have to drag my cold corpse over to the cells in order for me to go there."
Reinhard growled. "I already said that I would refrain from inflicting any sort of bodily harm on you. Now—" Grabbing onto Elsa's forearm, Reinhard began to drag her along. "—let's move."
Elsa grit her teeth in fury at being touched, so she instantly drew a blade before attempting to slice down on Reinhard's wrist. Reinhard however caught it with his other hand, before breaking the knife by crushing it in his palm.
Knowing that outright killing him wasn't going to work, Elsa went to free herself instead. She pulled and yanked her arm. Even tried breaking it in order for his grip to loosen, but nothing worked. Reinhard's strong hold persisted even after all of the struggling Elsa did. He continued to walk forward with her in tow. To any outsiders watching, it would appear as if Reinhard was kidnapping Elsa. But since her reputation was so widely known, any thoughts like that were squashed into nothingness.
Elsa hated this infantile treatment. She wanted Reinhard to see her as a dangerous enemy, not some nobody who he could simply drag to the station. She had hoped fighting Reinhard would be exciting, but she didn't expect him to be such a stiff.
Still, there was one other option she could think of. One that would hopefully rekindle their hostile relationship. One that could possibly improve Elsa's interest. She just needed the right moment.
"Hey Sword Saint," Elsa drawled. "How long are you going to keep dragging me like this?"
"Until we arrive at the station," Reinhard said with no hesitation. "So just be quiet."
"Mm? You're not going to try and slam my body against the ground? Or swing me over and over again until you launch me into the sun?"
"No. Because then I'll be giving you exactly what you want. Instead, I am going to bring you to justice the calm way. And I told you to be quiet."
Elsa clicked her tongue. "We'll see about that, Sword Saint." Licking her lips, Elsa prepared to put her plan into action. "Especially after what I do to you."
Reinhard squinted at that comment, before briefly turning around to make eye contact with her. "What are you talking about? What can you possibly do that would anger me so—"
He didn't have time to finish that sentence, as Elsa unexpectedly planted her lips firmly against his, catching him by surprise.
Eyes widening in shock, Reinhard momentarily lost all of his concentration. He hadn't expected Elsa to kiss him at all, so her sudden action worked effectively in making him lose focus. His grip on her arm weakened, and Elsa pulled her arm back from his hand and pulled out a hidden blade, before slicing across Reinhard's belly.
The two's lips then separated before they both jumped back, Elsa being thrilled and Reinhard being ashamed for leaving his guard down. He held a hand to his stomach, and found that he was bleeding. Actually bleeding.
"That's the first time…anyone has landed a hit on me…" he said in astonishment. After that surprise maneuver, Elsa managed to do the impossible, and wound him. There was only a light cut across his stomach, but the fact still remained.
Elsa grinned wide and proud. "Would you look at that? The Sword Saint isn't so invulnerable after all," she teased. Twirling her blade in her palm, Elsa licked her lips seductively. "And might I add, you have a rather exotic taste."
Standing up, Reinhard glowered at the Bowel Hunter, his face red with embarrassment.
"How dare you…" he murmured dangerously.
Elsa took a fighting stance, excited at the prospect of battle. However…
"How dare you take my first kiss!"
Reinhard shouted to the heavens, completely and utterly distraught. Elsa just blinked at him in confusion.
"Umm…Aren't you more mad that I managed to wound you? Since no one else has done before?" Elsa asked. Reinhard looked at her as if she asked something stupid.
"Are you kidding? Of course not! That I'm not at all worried about! But what you did before that…" Reinhard grazed his lips with his fingers. "I was planning on giving my first kiss to my destined lover!"
Elsa grimaced. "You really have such childish ambitions? Gross…"
"Mother told me that kissing is something sacred and only between those who are in true love. For you to violate such purity. It's unforgiveable!" Reinhard looked at Elsa angrily, and the assassin just blankly stared at him.
"R-Right…" This wasn't what she expected at all. She had hoped the Sword Saint would be more fun that this. Not so…plain.
Reinhard then raised his arms in the air, before crossing them, and turning his back to her. "What you have done is repulsive and disgusting! So I wish to never see you again, Elsa Granhiert."
"Are you fucking serious?" Elsa blanked.
"Language!"
"You have got to be shitting me."
Elsa couldn't believe it. The strongest person in the world, was also a massive block of wood. A boring, lame, unfun stick in the mud.
She could do better than that.
Sighing, Elsa put away her blade and threw her hands in the air. "You know what? Fine. I'll leave. I won't see your boring face again. I'll find another toy to play with."
"Good!" Reinhard huffed. "And good riddance!"
"Whatever…" Trudging along, Elsa sighed in disappointment.
When they first met, she had seen him as someone special. Someone strong. Someone interesting. Now though? He wasn't anything like she thought he was.
So now they'd forever part ways. A possible rivalry now forever squandered.
If only he was more—
"One more thing."
"Huh?" Elsa turned back at that sudden sentence uttered by Reinhard. Only to be met with a fist in the face. His punch so strong it sent her in the atmosphere.
A punch so strong it lit the embers of fire within her heart once more. Even making Reinhard's blood pump in excitement.
"RRREEEEIIINNHHAAAARRRDD!" Elsa screamed with euphoric glee as she flew into the sky.
Reinhard just groaned. Knowing that now they'd likely see each other again.
And again. And again. And again.
Doing the same dance over and over.
No way to avoid it, so…
Might as well just go with it. And commit to rivalry that would drive the two of them crazy.
