Tech-Star: Thank you!

Gamelover41592: Thanks!

Matt (Guest): Yeah, Shawn and Rottytops are going to have an…interesting relationship with each other.

Sorry again I missed a week. I was traveling Saturday and was too tired to write this chapter out. But anyways, it's time to grab the next piece of the core. See you then!

"An impressive gear!" General Robot marveled, cutting Hugo's explanation off. "I wouldn't mind upgrading my own equipment with one of those. What kind of grease does it take?"

"The rarest kind…Green Primordial Goo!" Hugo revealed. Normally, he'd be more pissed off about interruption, but he needed to explain the goo anyways. "But when the Core was destroyed, all Green Goo drained out, and I haven't got a clue where to find more."

"You know, recently, the Troll military has taken a massive leap forward in terms of its technological capabilities." General Robot remembered. "I'll bet this Green Goo business is behind it all."

"Oh no!" Hugo panicked. This was bad. "If the Trolls have discovered the secrets of the goo, their forces will be virtually unstoppable!"

Spyro scoffed. "Yeah, right. Green goo or not, we're the Skylanders! We can handle the Trolls no matter what they use to power their machine!"

General Robot nodded. "Our soldiers have been struggling to breach their main factory. If this goo is what you say it is, then failure is not an option!"

"Yeah! We don't fail anyways!" Sky proudly declared. Everyone seemed to agree with her. This time, quite a few Skylanders opted to fly over rather than use the cannon.

Upon arrival at the outskirts at the factory, Snuckles was waiting for the Skylanders.

"Alright! You're back." He cheered once he noticed their arrival. "The captain was really impressed with my first mission-so here I am again!"

"Good for you!" Sky complimented.

Snuckles smiled at the compliment. "Here's the situation. We've been able to push forward to a position just outside the Troll Factories. The captain took a squad up ahead, but that was hours ago! I have to stay behind to guard this position. You've got to go find him! He'll know what to do!"

"Onwards, Skylanders!" Eon declared, pointing his staff forward. Sky copied him, smiling all the while. The Skylanders took that as a cue and began their trek through the mud filled trenches.

"Ya know, they actually did pretty well," Spyro noted as he charged into a troll. "For some Mabu, at least."

"So why don't we have a Mabu Skylander again?" Boomer asked. When everyone turned to him, he held his hands up. "I mean, I'm a troll and I was allowed to join."

"None have ever expressed interest," Eon simply explained before stroking his beard. "Well, a Mabu is a popular theory for what Pop Fizz used to be, but we'll never know."

"I thought he was whatever Trigger Happy was," Hex confessed.

"I have no idea! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Trigger Happy himself admitted. Everyone else just shrugged and kept going. There were plenty of barbed wire fences, but it was not hard to get through them considering all the bombs that the Trolls had left around. The Mabu captain wasn't much further ahead.

"Ho there, Skylanders!" The captain greeted the group. "Feels good to be in the midst of all this action, doesn't it? I used to own a flower shop, but then I started the Mabu Defense Force and then appointed myself Captain…now I'm blowing stuff up! That's the life, I tell ya."

"Here, here!" Boomer cheerfully agreed, offering the Mabu a fistbump, which was happily accepted.

"Speaking of which, the main factories are just around this corner, but these turrets have us pinned down," The captain, whom Sky noticed was named Rizzo, explained. "Fortunately, our scout has reported a stockpile of MEGA BOMBS in the ammo dump at the top of the hill!"

"Mega bombs!?" Boomer excitedly exclaimed. "Now you are speaking my language!"

"Oh yeah!" Sky cheered, stars in her eyes.

"You better check it out," Rizzo noted. "Be careful though…the entrance is being guarded by heavy artillery."

"Nothing that we Skylanders can't handle," Gill Grunt declared as he held up his harpoon gun.

Rizzo smirked. Why did he ever doubt these guys? "Find a Mega Bomb if you can, that'll be the ticket! Then you can roll it back here and we'll blow this wall up together!" Eon nodded as the Skylanders headed off. He moved to follow them, but stopped upon feeling Sky grabbing his robes.

"Daddy?" Sky asked. Eon turned to his daughter.

"Yes?" He replied.

"Why aren't the Life Skylanders here? And more of the Water Skylanders? Wouldn't they be more helpful?" Sky questioned.

"You see all those clouds above us?" Eon asked. Sky nodded. "They aren't actually clouds. That's smog. It's pollution and it tends to not agree with the Life or Water Skylanders. For the former, it can actually poison them."

"So that's why they're waiting at the Core?" Sky realized. All Eon had to do was nod. Sky nodded as well. She understood. It didn't take much for them to catch up with the Skylanders, who had found yet another wall blocking the path.

"Well color me tickled pink!" Another Mabu, Nort, declared. "It's the Skylanders who saved our town! The captain sent me to scout ahead. Look, it's too dangerous to attack the wall straight on-but as luck would have it, I've found another way. Follow me!"

"Thank you," Eon thanked him as he led the Skylanders down another path. The hidden entrance wasn't much further.

"That ammo dump is just past here," Nort reported. "And if you can find a handy dandy Mega Bomb, this wall can go KABLOOEY!" The Skylanders all made quick work of the Trolls, but the tank proved much tougher.

"Hit the back!" Sky called out. "Aim for the back!"

"You got it kiddo!" Ghost Roaster called out as he transformed, tearing the back of the tank apart. The tank was blown up and the troll piloting it was taken down quickly.

"Whoa…." Boomer was in awe. Everyone turned to see that he had managed to find three utterly MASSIVE bombs. He draped himself onto one. "Hey there, beautiful. Where have you been all my life?" The Skylanders all looked extremely disturbed. Sky found her eyes and ears both quickly covered as Boomer began to trace circles on the bomb.

"Er…Boomer? We need to use those," Eon finally managed out.

"Oh! Right! Sorry, got a little excited," Boomer admitted sheepishly as he began to push one bomb towards the wall. The explosion left everyone in awe.

"Great Mabu's Ghost!" Nort exclaimed. "What a blast! Hahahahahahahaha! Now if you can just find one more bomb and roll it back down to the captain, we can go right on through to the factories!"

"Okay, so should we try to protect the people pushing the bomb?" Spyro suggested.

"The bomb too," Drobot pointed out. "I, for one, do not want to get caught in that blast."

"Why can't we just have a few people push it and then have everyone else protect them?" Sky asked.

"Good idea!" Spyro commended. The other Skylanders seemed to be in agreement. Rushing back to the ammo dump, Spyro, Gill Grunt and Trigger Happy began to push while everyone else moved ahead, keeping the bomb from moving too far while also keeping an eye out for any more Trolls had decided to attack. Thankfully, they managed to make it to the wall without the bomb going off.

"Take this!" Sky declared as she pulled the bomb towards the wall, before scrambling back to the Skylanders. The explosion was, once again, amazing to watch.

"KABOOM!" Rizzo called out. "What an explosion! Now it's time to take the fight to THEM! There are 3 goo factories. Raise the flags at each one to signal their capture. Then we can secure the goo! Good luck, soldiers!"

"Charge!" Sky roared. The Skylanders didn't disagree and headed off, splitting off from each other in order to make things go far faster. Sure enough, all three goo factories were claimed in record times.

"Thank you Skylanders!" Rizzo thanked them once he found them, the other Mabu in tow. They were all holding a bucket. "We've secured the factories, but the Trolls are certain to retaliate. Let's hurry up and get this goo back to the general. He'll be expecting it."

"Fun!" Sky cheered. Everyone turned to see her happily playing in the goo. Eon smiled and found himself wishing he had a camera.

Everyone watched as the lines around the Core began to glow green. While the gears did not start to turn yet, everyone still found themselves excited. After all, there was only one more thing needed for the gears to start turning.

Couldn't help myself from giving Sky that cute moment of playing in the goo. After all, little kids love to play in dirty stuff!
