Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Horror Hungers. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Warhammer; Game workshop and a few others do.

The creature rose onto his feet, roaring at every single thing in the area. The creature? A Hive Tyrant, a 'flyrant' as it was called often.

The creature slowly stepped into the light, revealing the snow-white markings of Fleet Leviathan. The creature had been intelligent, slowly becoming more smarter than this as he tilted before it yawned, his mouth cracking like a shell.

"Leaveee…" It hissed as Gaunts and Tyranids warriors spread out and away from the hulking brute which fluttered in the wind.

"Planet is… Nice." He heard as he turned to look over his shoulder.

"Nicceee?" The Tyrant questioned as it fluttered its leathery wings. "Not nice… Soothing…" The Tyrant hissed, its jaws snapping shut and spittle flying from its jaws.

It had been a hard little thing than what had been done. He had been evolving, unsure of what the next move would be.

The tyrant could feel its voice. Not the voice of the Hive Mind, but their own. They had been evolving and one such strand seemed to be helping by giving them proper vocal cords which allowed them the gift of speaking for now.

The Tyrant's tail smashed behind it, swishing back and forth while the creature seemed to properly tilt his body, there was a lot more motion within the creature than there had been before.

It rubbed at its nose, a Venom cannon in one hand while a Lash Whip sat in its other, wrapped around its muscle-bound body, unsure of its future.

Their new mutations seemed to leave a lot of their species at an impasse. Many seemed to resist the idea of growing beyond what they had become or were becoming… Others seemed to be interested as their hunger seemed to be replaced somewhat with something else.

He was unsure of what seemed to be their new destiny. They had a lot more to question about whatever was to be their future for now.

"Hive Mind is… Different, now." The Tyranids stated to which he frowned himself. "It speaks of a new galaxy. Nice galaxy." The voice added as he raised his head.

The Tyrant spread its wings and slowly started to take flight into the sky, unsure of what the others would assume.

Their fleets had been a lot more divided. He knew Leviathan wanted to find who had fixed their hunger, and whom to thank.

Kraken had yet to properly understand their gift or did not care and still wished to consume the galaxy down to the smallest rock, something that had yet been dividing them and Behemoth had yet to make a call on either of them when it was all done and dusted.

This left their species split, many wanted to properly explore the galaxy and see what this new mutation would bring their species… And yet many of them had properly wanted to slaughter everything, their people divided by their instincts, their very nature for them.

He roared with mucus and sinus slowly dripping down his muzzle before he tilted his snout, rubbing at his head before he looked around, too sure of what to do.

"Hmm." The Tyrant stated before setting its hands on the ground and looking around. "Too much to do…" The Tyrant said, growing as he spread his wings.

It leaped from the cliff, spreading its wings and flying back up into the air. He yawned, unsure of what to do with his newfound independence. They had a lot more to focus on with this new DNA… Many of them were taken to space, spreading across the stars as they have now. There was still all too much to focus on when it came down to it.

He yawned, his wings folding in as the Tyranid landed on a plain, slowly pushing himself forwards, lumbering his bulk forwards as he yawned, unsure before now what to do next.

The Tyranid decided to think, rubbing at his temples with his wings. He was questioned a lot more about what was running through his head, this just made his head spin more and more as time went on and all of it fluttered away like so much wasted flotsam.

(Above the planet)

They looked down, unsure of what the creatures would do if they managed to find the stealth vessel hidden above. There was only so much they could focus on when all of it was said and done. They hadn't understood it, nor would they understand it. They had a lot more to focus on when their experiment left the ground.

It probably would have terrified the galaxy to have seen them in the state they were. Growing to be strong, capable of speech, and independent thought to a degree. They were becoming a species not burdened by the hunger which drove them to be

Though? The Tyranids were beasts, burdens of nature that the galaxy would have been better off exterminating. The Humans did not see it that way. They had so much to do, so much more to them within them.

"Are you sure that there be, ok? The DNA cocktail would just make it too hard for them to be controlled… They'd be no more controllable." One of the Humans stated to which there was a frown at this.

It wasn't a lie. They had so much more to do and the cocktail they inserted into the hive wouldn't change. It wouldn't do much to change what they had been. A number of them would end up becoming more and more than likely it was just him cutting loose. This had been something odd when all of it when their move was over with. He had to end it all sooner or later. This would be how it ended for now.

He tilted his head, snapping his jaws shut to himself. He was a lot more focused

If anything? They were unleashing something far beyond what had been done to them now, far beyond what needed to have been done.

With the Tyranids rampaging across the stars? There was almost nobody who would be able to stop billions of adaptive creatures like them all allowed to run free across the cosmos, it was a terror that could not properly be handled, could not be allowed.

But they needed this, needed their power and their skill when it came down to it. He sighed to himself, unsure of what would be done, and dusted. If anything? He had a lot more to properly focus on when it came down to it. There were a lot more interesting things when push comes to shove.

The Tyranids were one of the most unique species when it came down to them. They had a lot more power, they could constantly adapt and control their bodies, twisting around every little hurdle when it seemed to be done.

"Hmm." He said and turned back to tap on the computer, looking around, unsure of what to do.

"What are you going to do?" The human stated before he frowned. "There's a large concentration of Tyranid warships in the atmosphere. It will still take them several years to develop FTL capability. They won't spread as much as estimations seem to be predicting." The human added to which there were several nods.

There were dozens of Tyranid vessels in orbit, their fleets were all too divided by indecision when it came down to it.

This species was incredible if they continued to evolve. They'd be unstoppable with their newfound sapience.

Their terror could spread across the stars if left alone. Their power was equal to the most insane thing when it came to shove.

"They're still adapting. At least 50% of their species seems to have been trying to resist the cocktail." He stated before he brought his fingers to his face. "Thousands of them seem to be communing." He added while he questioned what to do next.

So much more work to be done. So many more tests to be done and dusted before now, they had a lot more focus now that the Tyranids had been growing at such a rate and were soon going to be their civilization sooner or later. They'd soon be growing into the apex of their power. It didn't seem a milestone as people assumed it was. This ended one way or another.

He knew that they had monsters out of their cage, giving them a loaded gun if nothing else. It had been a nightmare if nothing else. It had been one hell of an experiment if all things were considered, one which he wouldn't once consider beyond when all of it was done and dusted.

The creature wasn't able to relax if anything else happened, this place seemed to be sure and dusted. It made him fall short if anything, there was a lot more to do before their civilization reached the apex. He wasn't going to reach those upper echelons of society anytime soon, but he wanted to properly for now. He had a lot more to do.

A lot more. There was just too much to focus their efforts on quenching. A lot more certain as well what the next real problem rose its ugly head and caused problems for them to need to surpass and then those would fall over and be problems… If anything? He was far too tired; too brought down by such a small thing to let it all bother him. He'd not let it die too easily. No, this wasn't over…

But he did find it to be fun, the enjoyment didn't leave his body yet, and it didn't flood away from him anytime soon. Still? The Tyranid was amused, finding some mirth in such a situation. It was simply more of an amusing thing. Yes, the enjoyment was real. It was far beyond what he was used to… Yet? He loved this and wanted to stretch his wings, taking flight into the night sky. All the more reason for him to depart the planet, to see it from the stars as he and his brothers and sisters departed. They had growing to do, growing beyond their civilization, unsure of what the future would bring.

To them? Did it bring nothing, to the rest of the Hive? Well, the answer deepened.

Tonight? The hive would have its fill, it would allow itself to see the stars without such a nightmare. Yet? They had more to focus on, tonight. There was to have been more to this, they had to find more about what came next.

They had a lot to do before such things were done. If anything? This would end the same way it began. They'd gut anything that stood in their way… But they wished to be able to relax, find some peace, some form of tranquility.

No, if anything? They had to have their freedom. They had to be free and spread their wings through and through.

Yes. Anything less and they'd be losing the freedom they had wanted for years, the freedom they needed and wished for at the time. he wasn't going to be able to relax, not yet. No, he had to earn such a thing. He had to be willing to fight for it, to slice through what he had been, to earn a place at the table sooner or later.

The flyrant slowly started to fly, to leave the ground behind him as his large wings seemed to enfold behind him. It was clear as day only served to have reminded him, he could have folded inwards and then easily thrown him into orbit. He was too thrown off for now. He had a lot more to try and understand for now when it came down to it. He wasn't prepared for the time being. Such measures would have done something that needed to have populated it… He did want to try and understand the outside world… Yet? This had only served to make him grow more and more restless.

It was something that he'd need to have understood. It was something he needed to have questioned before it came down to it. There was a measure of annoyance, of anger…. It'd become something while it came to a head. It was clear such manners had been beyond himself…. It was clear he had more and more doubts in the manners which meant more and more of an odd little measure… If anything? This had served purely to have bothered him and bothered him beyond all shadow of a doubt. He had little if any antics he could not have done or wished to have done with now.

All creatures big and small seemed interested before looking upwards into the sky before now and looking upwards. All creatures big and small were eager to try and end it for now.

It was all said and done.
