Chapter 2: Settling In...To Trouble

"Ah, Mr. Kurosaki. Welcome to West Genetics. I am Sister Margaret, the Headmistress here in the academy."

Ichigo found himself in a rather large office with a single mahogany desk in front of a large window overlooking a courtyard. Behind the desk sat an older woman, wearing a white dress similar to a nun and a large habit on her head.

"Ah, it's nice to meet you, ma'am," Ichigo said, bowing slightly.

After the incident in the schoolyard, Chiffon had guided Ichigo to the administration building and the Headmistress's office before excusing herself to take care of the damages to the school from the fight, leaving Ichigo alone with Sister Margaret.

"Doctor Aoi told me you were coming. He said you are an exemplary individual who showed great promise. He also informed me of your...unique situation and abilities."

Ichigo blinked. "Oh…right, of course."

"I must admit, your story is quite a tall tale, but given the nature of the Nova, it's not so far-fetched. Now, your situation is unique. For your education, you will be placed in the First-Year classes. This will help you get up to speed with current events and maintain your academic progress. As for combat, well, that is a bit more complex. Doctor Aoi has provided videos of your exercises in the simulations and what I have seen is nothing short of phenomenal."

Ichigo could only scratch his cheek. He knew that it was true, back home he'd been considered quite the powerful combatant, able to go toe to toe with many of the Shinigami captains.

"However, Nova Dummies are not as formidable as the real thing, and I have not seen how well you can fight against another Pandora. Therefore, it would be prudent to organize a sparring match against one of our more skilled students to assess your skills. It might also alleviate any doubt the students might have of your claim of being a male Pandora."

Ichigo could see why the claim could be in doubt. He was a truly unique case; there would be some who would try to call bullshit.

He also had to admit that he felt some excitement at the thought of sparring with another Pandora besides Lee Su-Na.

He just hoped people wouldn't make a big deal out of him when the secret got out.

'Yeah, right. Knowing my luck, there's not a chance in hell,' Ichigo thought to himself. "Alright, so when is the match happening?"

"In a couple of days. We need just a little time to set it up and give you a chance to rest. You just flew across the Asian continent, after all."

Ichigo nodded gladly; the flight had been a bit draining, not to mention the jetlag for an eight-hour journey in a high-speed jet. Granted, the flight could have been almost twelve hours on a regular commercial plane.

Hurray for highly funded military organizations!

Sister Margaret slid a large envelope over to Ichigo. "Here is the key card to your room, as well as a map of West Genetics with your dorm location highlighted, along with the student handbook. Please study it so you can avoid complications with the faculty. If you have any questions, you may ask your class representative. I do hope your stay here will be pleasant, Mr. Kurosaki."

"Ah, thanks." Ichigo took the envelope and bowed to the Headmistress before taking his leave.

Sister Margaret watched him leave. When the door closed, she released a sigh. The teen certainly wasn't what she was expecting. From how Gendo had talked about his abilities and the footage she saw, she figured he would be more egotistical. But from what she could see, he had a rather humble disposition.

"Not at all like what I thought he would be." She said to herself as she went back to her duties.

"265….66….67….ah, here we go, Room 268."

Ichigo stood before the door to his assigned dorm room. He had to admit; the dorm was massive in size. It was almost as large as the Karakura High building. Seeing the card reader on the door, Ichigo produced his key card and swiped it across the reader. A green light blinked and the door unlocked. Ichigo opened the door but paused as he got his first look inside.

"...What the?"

This wasn't a dorm room, it was a whole damn luxury suite! There was a king-size bed in the corner, an entire drawer set, a round dining table, and an enormous desk sat in the other corner. Peeking his head in, he could see a door leading to a full-size bathroom with a large shower.

"This is...my room, right?" Ichigo blinked as he glanced down at the key card and back to the room.

"Hey there."

Ichigo turned to the source of the voice to see a blonde male stepping out of the neighboring room. He walked up to Ichigo with a smile.

"You must be a new transfer. Let me guess, not used to the luxury, right?"

"Ah, yeah. I wasn't expecting this." Ichigo answered, rubbing the back of his head.

"I kinda figured…but man, you're pretty tall. The name's Arthur Crypton, fellow first-year. I guess we're going to be neighbors." Arthur extended his hand.

Ichigo took it and gave it a firm shake. "Kurosaki Ichigo. Er, Ichigo is my given name."

"Ah, Japanese. Though I wouldn't guess it at first with that hair."

Ichigo's eye twitched slightly. "Yeah, you wouldn't be the first."

Arthur gave Ichigo a once over. "That's a pretty interesting uniform. Are you a special transfer or something?"

"Something like that," he replied.

"Hmm, well, that's cool. Anyway, if you need anything, advice, or information, let me know. I'm always down to help a rookie."

'Rookie, he says…' "Thanks, I'll keep that in mind."

"Great, and here is some first bit of advice." Arthur leaned in closer. "Watch out for Satellizer L. Bridgett. She's dangerous. You should stay clear of her."

Ichigo quirked an eyebrow. "Satellizer L. Bridgett….? Wait, is she a blonde girl with long hair?"

"Ah, you have already seen her. Yeah, that's the one. They call her the 'Untouchable Queen.' She can't stand Limiters or something. I heard she thrashed her last Limiter before she came here."

Ichigo's eyes widened a little as he listened. "...I'll keep that in mind."

"You do that. It'll be safer for you in the end. Anyway, I've got to get going. I'll see you around, Ichigo. Welcome to West Genetics." And with that, Arthur walked off with a friendly wave.

Ichigo returned the wave before entering his room and closing the door. A closer examination of the room revealed his luggage waiting for him beside the bed. Ichigo shucked his coat with a loud sigh and pulled his tie off, throwing them on a nearby seat before collapsing on the bed. It's been a tiring day, and he wanted to rest for the remainder of it, especially since he started classes the following day.

Still, his mind drifted back to the warning Arthur gave him about Satellizer. Sure, it looked like she'd been a formidable fighter when she fought that other girl, but she didn't seem like the violent sort. She didn't do anything violent to him, at least.

"There's something about her…." Ichigo muttered to himself as he closed his eyes. A nap before unpacking and everything sounded nice.

"So, Satellizer has been up to trouble again…."

In the Pandora Third-Year dorms, an older teen with blue shoulder-length hair wearing a lavender lingerie corset and panty with matching corset and leggings. She was lounging on a sofa while being pampered by a group of younger boys. One of them had just informed her of the day's events.

"Hmph, I really don't like her. She's been getting a bit too highly of herself." She took a sip of wine from a glass that had just been filled for her. "Still, to hear that a newbie Limiter intervened…he must be rather brave or foolish to stop a fight."

She turned to one of her boys. "Do we have a picture of him? I'd like to see if he is worth giving my blessing to."

"Yes, we have one." The boy said as he handed the picture over.

"Oh, my!" The Pandora placed a hand on her cheek as she admired the picture. "He's quite the handsome one. He also has that rebellious look. Also, that frame of his, there has got to be some muscle under that uniform. He'd be an excellent catch." The Pandora licked her lips as she stared at the picture of Ichigo. "I've decided. I, Kannazuki Miyabi, the Limiter Devourer, will have this boy for my own!"

"I'm Kurosaki Ichigo. I've enrolled here under special circumstances. Please take care of me."

Ichigo stood in front of his new homeroom class, bowing stiffly. He could hear the murmurs of his classmates as they gave each other their opinions of him. Some remarked on his looks, some on his demeanor, and some talked about how out of place his uniform was.

Some girls in the room were overheard talking about his 'roguish good looks' and what they would like to do to him in private. He tried not to squirm from those comments.

He perked up when he saw his dorm neighbor, Arthur, waving to him in a seat a few rows back. Well, at least he had someone he knew in the classroom.

Kind of.

"Hello~! I'm Hiiragi Kaho, the class president."

Ichigo glanced up as a bubbly brunette bounced up to his desk for an introduction. The first half of the day had gone relatively uneventfully as the class learned essential education. Classes on Nova combat and tactics would not be held until later in the day. They were in between classes when the class president decided to introduce herself.

"Oh. Kurosaki Ichigo. I transferred in yesterday." Ichigo said, rather needlessly, as he shook the girl's hand.

"Ah, you're Japanese as well, huh? That's great! We need a few more in the class."

Ichigo listened as Kaho talked about her position and general facts about the school. Eventually…

"Oh, Ichigo. I heard you got mixed up with Satellizer yesterday."

"Ah, yeah. She got into a fight with another girl. Some redhead using chains."

Arthur, sitting nearby and listening in to the conversations, piped up with a wince. "Oh, that was my girl, Ganessa Roland. She was complaining about you last night about your interference with her fight."

Ichigo blinked. "She did, huh? Eh, sorry about that. Things were getting out of hand, was all."

Arthur waved it off. "Meh, no worries. I was able to talk her down."

"Listen, Ichigo." Kaho leaned in. "You need to stay away from Satellizer. She's violent and dangerous. You don't know how she'll react to your interference in her fight. She may be even targeting you now!"

Ichigo started to feel a bit annoyed by the constant warnings. "I appreciate your concerns, but I can handle myself. Honestly, I don't think she is as bad as you make her out to be." He stood and started walking towards the door.

"H-hey! Where are you going?" Kaho called out to him.

"Restroom," Ichigo answered as he vanished from sight, leaving Kaho and Arthur to look at each other in worry.

Ichigo washed his hands after taking care of his business in the stall. No one else was in the restroom with him. This gave him a chance to think in private.

For some reason, the things people were telling him about Satellizer were grating on his nerves. All those warnings about how dangerous she was and how he needed to avoid her. It angered him.

"Damn it. Why does everyone talk like that? It's just like when I was back in-!"

Realization struck him. The rumors about her. The warnings to avoid her. The fear they had of her.

The look in her eyes...that hardened, guarded look.

"It's just like I was back in the day…"

"That boy is nothing but trouble."

"Do you see his hair? It's obviously dyed."

"I heard he beat up a bunch of boys."

"He's nothing but a delinquent!"

"Don't talk to him….don't even look at him."

"You shouldn't associate with a punk like him."

"He'll hurt you if you don't watch it."

"Get away from me!"

"I don't like your tone, boy…"

"You! Wash that dye out of your hair at once!"

"Don't waste your breath on this guy. He won't amount to anything."

"He's just some delinquent."

Ichigo stared at his reflection as he remembered how he was treated back in Middle School, back when everyone treated him like he was just a troublemaker. He scowled at his reflection, and he saw the same eyes he saw when he first looked at Satellizer.

"Damn it!" Ichigo grunted as he slammed his palm into the mirror. Now he knew why all that rumor talk bothered him so much.

Ichigo huffed as he stood straight and stared at the mirror in front of him, his mind made up on what he was going to do.

Classes reached the halfway mark for the day, and the students began to shuffle into the cafeteria. Ichigo was used to the mediocre and meager selection of Karakura High's cafeteria and was content with simple grilled fish and rice.

So, imagine his utter shock when he saw a full five-star gourmet buffet from various regions laid out on tables free for anyone to take.

"T-this is what you eat every day?" Ichigo asked Kaho, who had brought him to the cafeteria when class dismissed for the hour lunch break.

"Yep! This school teaches and trains humanity's protectors, so we get a ton of perks, especially with the risk of death looming over us all the time." Kaho replied as she took a couple of slices of beef tenderloin off a serving plate.

Ichigo scowled at the thought of his fellow teens facing almost certain death at the hands of the Nova. A small commotion nearby derailed his thoughts, and he turned to look at a crowd gathering near a large food stall.

"What's that line for?"

Kaho sighed. "Burger Queen. You have to pay, but it's really popular amongst the students…."

Ichigo looked at the stall and shrugged. He could understand when someone wanted their burger fix.

All commotion in the cafeteria ceased when one of the last students in line for the Burger Queen noticed someone walking up behind him. Upon seeing who was approaching, his startled cry caught the attention of the rest of the students, who turned to see the 'Untouchable Queen' approaching the line. All at once, the students parted like the Red Sea, and Satellizer walked up to the counter, where a very nervous attendant took her order.

This drew the attention of the pair standing nearby.

"The Untouchable Queen…" Kaho whispered as she stared at the back of the blonde, retrieving her order from the employees, who had set a new speed record in cooking and prepping a Burger Queen order.

Ichigo frowned before walking towards the blonde, which Kaho quickly noticed.

"W-wait, Ichigo!"

Satellizer wordlessly took her food and turned around. She was startled to see an orange-haired male teen walking up to her. Her eyes widened when she recognized him as the very person who had stopped her fight not a day ago.

Ichigo took a moment to get his first good look at the young woman. He had to admit; she was beautiful, equal to several female members of the Gotei 13 like Vice-Captain Motsumoto Rangeku and even his Bankai teacher Shihouin Yoruichi.

Even as beautiful as his friend, Inoue Orihime.

He also noticed she was wearing glasses.

Just for a brief moment, he noticed her eyes lose that tempered, guarded look in her startled state but quickly regained the appearance just as fast.

Ichigo sighed. "Er...look…I just…" He tried to talk but struggled to find a good way to broach what he knew was a sensitive topic.

Satellizer wouldn't give him a chance as she made to step around him.

Ichigo, reacting on reflexes, reached out and grabbed her shoulder. "Hold on. I just want to talk."

A chorus of gasps rang out in the cafeteria as the students watched with terror, fully expecting a slaughter to occur before their eyes.

Only, it never came. Instead, Satellizer gritted her teeth, looking flustered as she jerked her shoulder away. She then hurried away at an increased pace with a red face.

"Hey, wait a minute, Satellizer! I just want to talk!" Ichigo called out as he went after her.

As for the rest of the onlookers, including Kaho, they stared at the entrance in shock, wondering just what the hell happened.

Satellizer sat against the roof access as she quietly ate her burger. The rooftop was commonplace for her, keeping her secluded from the rest of the student body. No one bothered her. No one stared at her. No one judged her.

No one touched her.

"I had a feeling I'd find you up here."

Satellizer jumped slightly and turned to see the same orange-haired male she had run from before. Her eyes widened as the young man stepped up to her.

Ichigo stared at the blonde for a few seconds as he collected his thoughts. He sighed as he tried to figure out how to convey his thoughts.

"You know…I had the same idea when I wanted to be alone. The rooftop was a quiet place at my old school. Somewhere I could get away from people when things got really annoying."

The girl said nothing in response and continued staring at him. Maybe she was just the silent type.

Another sigh passed through his lips. Well, if she didn't want to talk, that was alright. "I know what you're going through. Because I've been through it as well."

*Play Here to Stay - Bleach*

Ichigo turned to look out at the academy grounds.

"It's tough when no one trusts you. You constantly have to deal with the glares and the whispers. The rumors about you are outlandish, and they just keep getting more ridiculous over time. On top of that, you have people always wanting to pick a fight with you because they think beating you proves they are the strongest. The teachers aren't any help because they are just as bad as the students and spend more time punishing you for every little perceived slight." Ichigo turned his head towards the blonde. "Sounds familiar?"

Satellizer's eyes were wide, and her mouth parted.

"You're wondering how I knew, right?" Ichigo asked as he turned back to her. "It's your eyes."

Ichigo set his face into his infamous scowl, which Satellizer quickly recognized as one similar to hers.

"I recognized those eyes just from the short time we interacted yesterday. They're the same eyes I have, because I went through something similar." Ichigo relaxed his face into a gentle look. "Because of a tragedy, I had issues that made people avoid me. It didn't help that my hair made me look like a delinquent. I had difficulty making friends, and I lost count of the times someone wanted to fight me to prove that they were tougher.

Despite all that, though, I was able to make friends who helped me get out of that place." Ichigo thought of all his friends back in Karakura. His emotions flicked from the absence of his family and friends, but he quickly reigned them in. "What I'm trying to say is I know how you feel. I've been through it, and while I can not say anything about what brought you to this point, you don't have to go through it alone."

Satellizer's eyes lowered as she thought over what the teen said, amazed at just how sincere he sounded. She was surprised when she felt a hand on her head and looked up to see the teen looking at her with a slight smile on his face.

The sight made her blush a little.

"If you need someone to talk to, don't hesitate to come find me. I'll listen."

Ichigo pulled his hand away and turned towards the exit. "I'll see you around, Satellizer-san."

Ichigo was about to turn the corner when a voice called out from behind.

"W-Wait!"

Ichigo turned to see Satellizer standing up and turning to him. She took the few steps needed to reach him and stopped. For a few moments, both stayed silent as they stared at each other. Then Satellizer reached up to gently place her hand on his cheek.

"Eh..." Ichigo blinked in surprise as a slight pink dusted his cheeks at the act. He watched as the blonde closed her eyes as she seemed to focus on something.

Satellizer gently exhaled. "So it wasn't a fluke. Everyone else is disgusting, but with you…" she lightly cupped his cheek with her hand. "It doesn't feel that way…." She looked into his eyes. "Your name...what is it?"

Ichigo realized that he hadn't properly introduced himself before giving his little speech. "Uh, it's Ichigo. Kurosaki Ichigo."

"Kurosaki...Ichigo." Satellizer seemed to test the name. "...I see."

Ichigo stood still as he stared at the girl who said nothing else. She just seemed to be basking in his presence with a content look on her face.

"My, you two seem to be getting chummy. This is quite the odd place to consider a 'Baptism'."

The sudden voice made Ichigo spin around, forcing Satellizer to let go of his face. There, Ichigo saw a blue-haired girl wearing the standard Genetics uniform along with three male students. The girl had this cocky look as she stared at the two, although she appeared to focus mainly on Ichigo.

"A….Baptism?" Ichigo asked with a confused frown.

"Ah, that's right. You just transferred in. When a Pandora and their Limiter wish to become partners, they perform a ceremony known as a Baptism. Usually, it's done privately as it is very personal, but doing it out in the open is optional...if you are into that kind of thing."

The sensual laugh she made at the end didn't help Ichigo's mental image of such a ceremony.

"But where are my manners? I'm Kannazuki Miyabi, a Third-Year, and it's a pleasure to meet you. And you are Kurosaki Ichigo, correct?"

Ichigo looked a bit startled. "How do you know my name?"

Miyabi smirked. "Oh, I make it a point to know interesting people, and you, Kurosaki-kun, are very interesting."

Unseen by everyone, Kaho was watching the whole scene from the door of the roof. She had followed Ichigo to try to talk some sense into him and keep him from becoming a smear on the ground thanks to Satellizer. Her plans were derailed when she spotted Miyabi and her Limiter 'Boy-toys' headed up to the roof.

'This is bad. Very bad…' Kaho thought as she stared at the scene with a sense of trepidation and fear.

"I'm flattered, really. But whatever you're selling, lady, I'm not interested." Ichigo remarked, starting to feel uneasy about this situation.

Miyabi put on a playful frown. "Oh? Are you rejecting me without even hearing me out? But I have so much to offer you, and I guarantee that the experience will be enjoyable." She purred. "I'll make sure that this will be a Baptism you will never forget."

Ichigo shuddered. There was just something off with this woman. "Don't care, lady. I'm not interested in becoming your boy-toy."

Miyabi's smile turned into a frown. "You still reject me? I don't like being told 'No', especially by an underclassman. You know that this is a military school, and upperclassmen have all the authority. I can easily…discipline you."

Ichigo's eyes narrowed. "So you want to go that route?"

"Pleasure or pain. You decide." Miyabi grinned maliciously.

Ichigo tensed but blinked when Satellizer stepped in front with her weapon held in front.

"Satellizer?"

Miyabi sneered. "Oh? You dare to challenge a superior?"

Satellizer's eyes narrowed. "You will not touch him."

Miyabi grinned as floating daggers materialized around her. "Allow me to show you the difference between a Junior and a Sophomore."

In the next moment, the rooftop exploded with activity. Satellizer and Miyabi dueled as daggers flew and blades sang in the air. Miyagi showed great skill as she revealed she could freely manipulate the daggers without touching them. Satellizer showed incredible speed and skill by deflecting the projectiles and swiping at her opponent.

Miyagi grinned as she evaded another attack. In an instant, she vanished in a blur before appearing behind Satellizer.

'That was some speed…' Ichigo thought as he witnessed the fight, his body tense, ready to jump in at any moment. For an average person, it would be impossible to see Miyabi's movement. But Ichigo, he could easily track her. No surprise, considering he has faced off against much faster opponents in the past like Byakuya. Not to mention he was trained by the 'Goddess of the Flash' herself.

Easily outrunning the likes of Miyabi would be child's play.

Said girl smirked as she prepared to attack, only to be caught off guard when Satellizer vanished and appeared behind her in a similar move.

Miyabi only had a split second to dodge a downward swipe as she cartwheeled away.

"So, you can perform an Accel Turn."

The fight took an upward pace, the dust picking up as the two engaged in a high-speed battle. Ichigo continued to track the escalating fight.

"I'm surprised you can perform High-End skills. You shouldn't have learned that in your Sophomore year. You're just as the rumors have said, Satellizer el Bridget!"

The fight suddenly took a turn when Satellizer managed to capitalize on an opening. Her blade got through Miyabi's defenses and nicked the girl's cheek, splattering blood.

Miyabi stood still for a second in shock as she felt the sting on her face. Suddenly she screamed and then began to laugh in a rather…disturbing manner.

"This is exciting…so exciting!" Miyabi exclaimed as she looked up with a crazed expression. "I thought I would just punish you a little, but now I see that's not enough…no, not nearly enough! I'm going to kill you, you Sophomore bitch, and then I'm going to let you taste every bit of shame and humiliation this world has to offer!"

Ichigo decided this was enough, as clearly, this woman wasn't entirely sane. But just as he started to move, Miyabi made her own.

"Einbar Set!"

Miyabi's eyes changed, as well as all her Limiters, showing the mental link the Stigmata granted them. The sharing of the senses, as well as thoughts, allowed near-complete cohesion between Pandora and Limiter.

"Go!" Miyabi ordered as her Limiters jumped forward in a wide triangle formation. As soon as they reached their positions, they trusted their hand forward.

"Freezing: Full Power!"

The area was instantly blanketed in the blue hexagon pattern of a freezing field, placing a strain on both Satellizer and Ichigo.

Ichigo grunted as he fought against the Freezing but did not go down. This was hardly enough to limit his movement, as Spiritual Pressure was much more powerful.

Satellizer, however, looked more concerned.

Miyabi cackled. "Since you do not have a Limiter, this fight is over. You have no idea the capabilities of a Pandora outside of Carnival. You don't even have a Limiter that can neutralize the Freezing Field. You have no chance of winning!"

Satellizer realized how much of a disadvantage she was in and, with great effort, managed to jump into the air and away from the Limiters, much to the shock of Miyabi. However, she glanced down at Ichigo, who was still stationary. She panicked, thinking he was stuck and redirected herself to him.

"Take my hand!" Satellizer said as she reached out to Ichigo.

Ichigo's eyes widened when he saw Miyabi's daggers flying towards Satellizer, who failed to see them with her back turned and the speed with which they moved. Time seemed to slow down as the projectiles closed in. There was no way for the girl to evade.

And so, Ichigo moved.

Satellizer flinched as a loud 'clang' filled the air and suddenly realized that Ichigo was no longer in front of her. The clattering of metal and the startled yelp of her opponent drew her attention, and when she turned to look, her eyes widened in shock.

*Play Number One*

There standing between her and Miyabi, with the daggers of her opponent lying on the ground, was Kurosaki Ichigo…holding a massive cleaver-like sword in his hand.

Ichigo glared at the group before him as they stared at him in shock. This fight had gone on long enough and was getting out of hand. It was time to put an end to it.

"Wh-what?!" Miyabi shouted as she witnessed the impossible. "H-how?! A Volt Weapon?!"

"That's more than enough," Ichigo declared decisively. He raised his leg and slammed it down, shattering the Freezing field in an instant. This caused the three Limiters to jolt as if hit with a physical blow, further shocking everyone in shock at such an impossible feat.

"He neutralized the Field?!" Miyabi screamed, her mind trying to come to terms with what she was witnessing. "Just what the hell are you, Kurosaki Ichigo!?"

Ichigo remained silent, before vanishing in a blur. The next moment, three loud thumps filled the air, and the Limiters crumpled to the ground in heaps. Miyabi looked around frantically, trying to find the boy who was defying all logic.

"An Accel Turn too?!"

"Sweet dreams."

"Wha-?!"

Miyabi spun around where the voice came from and let out a cry as she felt a fist bury itself in her stomach. The last thing she saw as her vision faded was the brown eyes of Ichigo as he stared into her eyes.

Ichigo caught the falling girl and gently laid the girl on the ground. He let out a sigh. This was not what he wanted to deal with during lunch break.

Looking up, he was met with Satellizer staring at him in shock and awe, her arms hanging limply at her side, blade still clutched in her hand.

"Uh, sorry." Ichigo said as he scratched the back of his head.

Satellizer's eyes were fixed on the dark blade Ichigo had in his hand. Her mind replayed everything she had just witnessed in the last few moments. "...What are you?"

Ichigo shrugged. "It's a bit complicated. What I can say is that I have powers similar to yours."

The two stared at one another as the silence dragged on as Ichigo let that knowledge sink in for the girl.

Suddenly, the roof access slammed open, and Chiffon and a raven-haired girl burst onto the roof.

"What in the world is going on!?" Chiffon yelled as she looked at the scene. That was when she saw who was there. "Ichigo? Satellizer?!"

From the open door, Kaho tentatively peeked out from inside. When she saw things starting to get intense, she fled down to find the Student Council President, as she would be able to order a stop to it. She found her and the Vice-President in the hall and, after explaining what was happening, followed them up to the roof.

Ichigo blinked as he looked at the two new arrivals. "Uh, hey, Prez."

Chiffon marched over to the boy. "What in the world is going on? Why do you and Satellizer have your Volt Weapons out? And why are there four unconscious students on the ground?"

Ichigo groaned as he rubbed the bridge of his nose. He glanced to see the raven-haired girl checking on the downed students. "Sorry. This girl came up here while I was talking with Satellizer. She said she wanted to make me her Limiter and wouldn't take 'No' for an answer."

Chiffon sighed as she massaged his temples. "Why am I not surprised? Miyabi never could accept being rejected." She looked back up. "Why did you use your weapons? I distinctly remember you asked me about using them just yesterday."

That brought Ichigo up short. "Er, things kinda got out of hand?"

"Obviously." Chiffon sniffed as she glanced over to her VP. Then she shook her head. "They're not hurt too badly. Just blows that knocked them out, aside from a scratch on Miyabi's face."

Chiffon sighed. "Thank goodness for small miracles. When Satellizer's involved, it tends to become a blood bath." She muttered as she turned back to the two. "Regardless, this is a violation of the rules. Ichigo, as you are new and Miyabi put you into this situation, I'll let you off with a warning. You must not use your Volt Weapon outside exercises and Sanctioned Combat. Satellizer, you already know not to use your weapon, but considering no real damage was done, you will only face disciplinary actions for the remainder of the day. Ticy, please take Satellizer to the brig."

Ticy nodded and moved over to Satellizer.

"What? That's bullshit! She only fought to defend herself and me from that girl and her posse. They were the ones cornering us." Ichigo declared, coming to Satellizer's defense.

Chiffon shook her head. "I'm afraid we must keep a strict discipline here, Ichigo. Her past violations make this action necessary."

"But-" Ichigo started, but a gentle hand on his shoulder stopped him. He turned to see Satellizer shaking her head.

"...It's alright. I'll be fine."

Ichigo stared as Satellizer stepped around him as she dismissed her weapon and walked past a stunned Chiffon.

The President herself was speechless. Satellizer, who went berserk at the slightest touch, just touched another person.

This was unheard of.

"Satellizer," Ichigo said as she neared the door, making her stop and look back at him. "I stand by what I said earlier. If you need someone to talk to, I'll listen."

Satellizer stared for a moment before moving and heading down.

Chiffon finally broke from her trance and looked to Ticy. "Ticy, escort Satellizer."

The VP also snapped out of it and ran to catch up with the blonde. Chiffon gave Ichigo a disappointed look.

"I believe I also warned you about associating with that girl."

Tired of the same warning, Ichigo scowled. "It's my decision who I choose to speak with. Besides, I can tell she needs someone to talk to. I figured it out when I realized she had the same eyes I had before I had friends and family who dragged me out of that place. Now, I'm going to return that favor."

Ichigo walked past a speechless Chiffon and past a hidden Kaho, who had heard the whole thing.

There would be a lot of introspection to do.
