Chapter 6
Royal Woods Mall…A place where it has something for everyone. Well, except for a teenage Lynn Sr. and Rita Loud. We see them going from clothing store to clothing store, trashing each one, trying to find clothes they like. The store they're in now is Reiningers, Leni's place of work.
Rita (Throwing Clothes off the racks): "I'm telling you, Babe, this store better have something fashionable, if they don't, I'm literally going to lose my mind!"
Lynn Sr. (Looking through the sock): "Out of 10 stores, you think one will carry groovy socks?" (Destroys a shelf): "But, no!"
Speaking of Leni, she and her sisters arrive at the mall and is terrified to see what her parents are doing to the store.
Lori (Puts a hand on Leni's shoulder): "Leni…"
But with a stern face, Leni walks up to her now young parents.
Leni: "Okay you two, this stops now!"
Lynn Sr. (Stops in his tracks along with Rita): "Oh…"
Rita: "And what are you going to do missy?"
Leni (Puts on a name tag with her name on it): "This…"
In no time flat, Leni has hooked her parents with new outfits. For Rita, she's wearing a yellow shirt with a blue dress over it and black sandals for her footwear. As for accessories, it was kept simple with a yellow metallic chain sporting Rita's left risk, and a circle earring on each ear with a picture of an airplane.
Rita (With a big smile): "Now this…is fashion!"
For Lynn Sr's look, the simple factor was raised, with him being clad in a violet t-shirt with a black sweatshirt over it, blue sweatpants, and three stripe tube socks as well as a pair of sneakers on his feet.
Lynn: "This guy is ready for anything." (Looks down at his sock): "And this store does have groovy socks."
Leni: "See…all you guys needed was a little help."
Rita: "I have to Leni, I'm pretty proud to have a daughter, who is so fantastic with style clothing."
Leni: "Wait…you remember, who I am Mom?!"
Rita (Wearied out): "You're a weird girl…" (With a smile): "But fashionable."
Lori: "Now can please go home?"
Lynn Sr.: "Home? No way fun-killer! We still have to see what this mall has to offer."
Luna: "Then…" (Gets an idea): "Why don't we show you cool dudes around?"
Rita (Shrugs): "Cool with us."
Lynn Sr. (Walks out of the store with Rita): "Let's make tracks."
But before the Loud sisters could leave themselves…
?: "Ahem!"
They turn around to see Ms. Camichael, Leni's boss, angrily holding up a piece of paper to them.
Ms. Carmichael: "Leni…this is the bill for the damages your friends made to the store. And the clothes you gave them."
Leni (Sadly takes the bill): "Sigh! I guess that's fair."
Lana (Sees the bill): "Hold on…" (Takes and reads it): "Who charges 220 bucks for sneakers?!"
Ms. Carmichael: "There from our rare old school collection."
Lynn: "How old school are we talking about here?"
Ms. Carmichael: " From the late 1960s."
Lori: "Hold on…"
Lori goes to a pile of clothes, left by her parents. And sticks her hand in it…
Lori: "Eww…Aha!" (Pulls her hand out with a set of keys): "Found them."
She goes back to her siblings.
Lori: "You guys keep Mom and Dad busy. I'll be back soon with Vanzilla."
Lola (Puts her hands together and starts to beg): "I can go with you…please?!" (With puppy dog eyes): "I don't want to deal with teenage Mommy and Daddy anymore."
Lana: "Can I come too?"
Lori (Takes a deep breath): "Fine…"
Once again, the siblings spilt up…
Lucy: "Why do we keep doing that?"
Luan: "Maybe…" (Gets a face full of slushie): "Hey!"
Rita (Throwing away an empty flippe cup): "That was totally gross."
Lynn Sr. (Leaning over Flip's cart): "You might want to think of a better career grandpa."
Flip (Feeling very sour): "Something tells me today's not going to be a good day for Flip."
