"Are we sure it's a good idea to send the SPARTANs off on a solo mission?" Motoyasu said
"I am." Naofumi said as a squadron of Wasps showed up
"Air support?" Ren asked
"Yeah." Naofumi said as he felt something was off, looking around he couldn't see anything until the monster surfaced
"FIRE!" Buck ordered as all UNSC forces and Melromarc mages attacked it
"WHOA!" Motoysau shouted
"Get your head in the game!" Ren said as he joined up with his party
"Yeah, move it!" Itsuki shouted joining up with him
"Right." Motoyasu shouted as he went over to his party
"Naofumi!" Buck shouted
"Something's wrong," Noafumi said "But what?" he asked as more explosions hit the monster. Suddenly he raised his shield and blocked something behind him "Glass" he said as he lowered the shield
"Hello, Shield Hero." Glass said
"So, who are you friends?" he asked
"NAOFUMI!" Bernie shouted
"What's going on?" Dutch asked
"Oh shit." Romeo said
"What?" Mickey asked
"That Glass Chick is back!" Romeo growled
"What?" Buck asked using his helmet's zoom function "Who are those with her?"
"One of them is Therese!" Joe said over comms
"The girl he liked is our enemy?" Dutch asked before a bullet whizzed pasted him
"UP THERE!" Romeo shouted as formless shadow fired at them
"That sounds like." Buck said
"So Glass, L'Arc and Therese correct?" Naofumi asked
"Sure is, man I'm sorry to have to do this, but we can't survive if the waves are attacking us." L'Arc smiled
"And you think killing us heroes will end it?" Naofumi glared
"Well yeah." L'Arc said
'That's insane!" Naofumi said "We're attacked by the same waves, heck we're barely surviving, and here you assholes come to deal a blow to the only ones saving this world"
"We understand." Therese said
"You! I have a personal vendetta against," Naofumi said
"What did you do?" L'Arc asked
"Broke my friend's heart" Naofumi growled
"Oh, that man was a friend of yours?" Therese said
"He is." Naofumi said as he knelt on one knee
"What are you doing?" L'Arc asked
"WATCH OUT!" Glass shouted unfurling her fan in front of L'Arc as a bullet bounced off if it.
"What was that?" Therese asked
"The bitch blocked my shot." Romeo grimaced
"Fire again!" Buck said
"Let's see her block this!" Dutch smirked picking up a rocket launcher
"What about Naofumi?" Mickey asked
"Good point," Dutch said "I'll use the lock on feature." Dutch said
"Well, do it quickly" Buck said
"You got it!" Dutch said as he aimed at Glass. Who in turned fired an energy sword at him.
"GET DOWN!" Naofumi said, making the other ODST duck down as the energy sword flew over here
"Bitch!" Dutch snarled
"METEOR THRUST!" Motoyasu shouted as he tried to impale L'Arc
"FULL MOON ARMY!" L'Arc declared creating a disk of energy at the spear hero
"METEOR SHOT!" Itsuki shouted firing an arrow at the opposing heroes before Therese launched a fireball at the Spear Hero. Ren quickly slid in front of Itsuki and activated a shield, protecting them from the blazing magic "Thanks."
"Don't get caught out, where's your party?" Ren asked
"On one of the ships, where's yours" Itsuki replied
"Same" Ren said
"AIRSTRIKE SHIELD!" Naofumi called out shooting a green energy shield at Glass, who blocked it with her fans
"LIGHTNING SPEAR!" Motoyasu shouted casting lightning, making it streak towards Glass, who quickly blocked it, giving Naofumi an opening to pull out his magnum and fired.
"I got you Glassy!" L'arc smiles as he blocked the shot
"Damn!" Naofumi growled as he jumped back to the others
"What now?" Itsuki asked
"I have no idea." Naafumi frowned.
"Rondo!" Glass shouted about to do her attacked when the sound of whistling was heard.
"GLASS!" Therese said as she was pulled out of the way as a massive pod landed on the monster's corpse. Upon seeing Naofumi froze, a dark feeling crept into his mind as he flashback to Reach and Mombasa making him shake slightly
"Naofumi!" Motoyasu shouted
"That's not good." Ren frowned before the pod exploded open revealing a simian looking alien, one that Naofumi went wide eyed at the sight of
"NO! It can't be!" Naofumi froze as before he was a Brute Warmaster, namely Atriox one of the worse ones "ATRIOX!"
"Hello little humans," Atriox laughed
"Okay, who is that?" Motoyasu asked
"One of our worse enemies!" Naofumi revealed
"Indeed, and once I have rid the world of those who hold the seal fragment I will be able to unseal the fleet of the Prophet of Justice!" Atriox revealed making Naofumi more panicked
"A Covenant Fleet is what is behind the SEAL!" Naofumi panicked
"Indeed, it was hard to find the first seal bearer, what with you allowing her to roam free with those shadows" Atriox smirked
"MYNE!" Motoyasu shouted
"It would have been simpler for me to weaken the seal, but you had to have a change of heart and not listen to the suggestions that was given to you Shield Hero," Atriox said "There was an attempt to make it sure you placed them in one spot, only for you to have the princess roam around, almost as it you knew I was going to kill her."
"Maybe I did." Naofumi said
"What?" Atriox asked
"EVERYONE FALL BACK!" Naofumi ordered
"WHAT!" they all shouted
"Fall back, I have a plan. For now...it's just me and the monkey," Naofumi said
"No, we're not letting you do that!" Itsuki shouted
"Yeah we'll fight alongside you guys." L'Arc declared before Naofumi grouped the together
"SHIELD PRISON!" he shouted making a shield prison form around them "AIR STRIKE SHIELD!" he shouted hitting the prison with the energy construct making the hero fly towards the Queen's ship.
"Not very smart of you Human," Atriox said pulling his Gravity Hammer back.
"Yeah, well" Naofumi smirked as he raced in and smacked the brute Chieftain with his shield before leaping back and aiming at him, "AIRSTRIKE SHIELD!" he shouted making a green shield appear in front of him.
"Nice try!" Atriox grunted as he used his hammer to shatter the light shield.
"Okay." Naofumi frowned, pulling out his magnum and aimed the alien's jaw and fired, making Atriox roar as he try to throw Naofumi away, only to miss. "Is that all you got?" he smirked as he ditched a grenade at his face before using his shield to block the blast, thinking it was a good hit Naofumi panicked as Atriox emerged from the smoke. "SHIT!" Naofumi shouted as he blocked Atriox's jaws from closing in his head.
"HOW WAS THAT FOR A NICE TRY!" Atriox snarled as he reared up; preparing to charge
"Oh Crap!" Naofumi panicked
"SON OF A BITCH!" Motoyasu shouted
"Why did he send us back?" Ren asked
"I'm not sure," Itsuka replied
"He must have a plan." Raphtalia said
"But what?" Motoyasu asked
"I'm not sure." Raphtalia hesitated
"PLEASE TELL ME THAT IS NOT ATRIOX?!" Buck shouted
"That's what Naofumi called him" Itsuki replied
"Crap!" Dutch shouted
"What are we going to do?" Mickey asked
"About what?" Linda asked as she and the rest of Blue Team arrived
"Atriox and Noafumi" Buck said "Where's Chief?"
"Out there" Kelly said as she and Fred dropped the case, something which resonated with Ren
"TIME TO DIE!" Atriox said as he reared back his gravity hammer.
"Not today" Naofumi smirked as he rolled over as the sound of a high pitch whine, getting louder each second
"Surprise!" Chief call out as he slammed his knee intro the side of Atriox's skull.
"Demon." Atriox grinned
"Atriox." Chief nodded as he slammed a fist into his gut, while pulling his assault rifle out and shoving the barrel into his gut before yanking on the trigger making a barrage of hot lead damage the armour. Naofumi pulled out his SMGs and rolled behind Atriox and aimed at the base of the neck, pulling the triggers making hot lead fly into it, ripping a roar of pain from him. Atriox grabbed the Master chief and swung him into Naofumi, sending both down the dead sea monster. Thankfully the two rolled in a prone stance and reloaded.
"That did nothing!" Naofumi seethed
"He is weakening." Chief said as he stood up "But he's not letting us catch on breaths," he added on
"Yeah I saw." Naofumi said, pointing his shield at Atriox "SHIELD PRISON!" he shouted wrapping the Brute Chieftain in a ball of shields
"That won't keep him there for long." Chief pointed out
"No kidding," Naofumi grunted as the sounds of the shields being bashed apart filled their ears. "we better thing of something!" Naofumi panicked
"Stay calm." Chief said
"Could we send in Air support?" Melty asked
"No, they could hit Chief and Naofumi." Buck explained
"Then should we?" Raphtalia asked
"No, we're more likely to end up in the way" Dutch said
"But we have to do something!" Filo whined
"The princess," Romeo said as they looked to where the heavily injured princess was laying "Look I know she's a major Princess Bitch, but if the Brute is right..."
"She'll need to be kept alive." Mickey said
"Get Bernie here to look at her!" Buck ordered
"YES SIR!" Dutch said
"So what did you guys bring back?" Buck asked
"An experimental armour dubbed the Hayabusa." Kelly said
"Well fire it up!" Dutch snapped as Bernie and Melty tended to Bitch who was growing weaker.
"Melty" she said weakly
"Sister, please...save your strength." Melty soothed her sister.
Ren was antsy to get into the action, but he couldn't get over there. He was stuck on the ship waiting. He sighed and looked at his sword when something popped up in his vision
"Equip new armour?" he asked himself, agreeing to it making a blue light inside the box shine brightly he was blinded temporarily before he opened his eyes and saw he now had a mini map, a compass and a weapon indicator "What is this?" he asked before looking at the fight, using the zoom on his visor to see Atriox was held in a shield prison "That doesn't look good, now if only I could get over there' Ren thought before he spotted something on his wrist 'a grappling hook?' he asked before looking around, seeing a few masts that were in the water. With everyone else on the fight; Ren aimed at the first mast and fired the device, it hitting the mast with a satisfying thud, before he was pulled into the sky, past the mast and into the sky. "SHIT!" he shouted as he aimed for the third mast, which was closest to the battle. He fired the device again; making him fly forward. He landed on the third mast and looked down as the 'brute' as the UNSC had dubbed them was raging. He pulled out his legendary sword and aimed before jumping off "SHADOW CLEAVING!" he declared
"Okay." Naofumi said as the last of the shield prison containing Atriox
"We can take him!" Chief said
"Didn't he destroy the crew of the Spirit of Fire?" Naofumi asked
"I don't know." Chief answered as he took a stance and was ready to charged "On 3"
"Alright, 1" Naofumi started
"SHADOW CLEAVING!" A voice from above shouted as an armoured figure crashed onto the corpse they were fight on, a stream of blood erupting from Atriox's back.
"The Hayabusa armour?" Naofumi asked shouted
"Sorry sir, it just equipped to me." the voice said
"REN!" Naofumi exclaimed
"Yes sir" Ren saluted
"I don't how many of you there are, you will not be able to survive my wrath, after all you must be close to having a dead princess on your hands!" Atriox taunted them.
"Then we better get on with it." Naofumi smirked
"Don't think we won't." Ren stated as he dropped into a stance while Chief and Naofumi reloaded.
The first to move was Atriox, who charged at Master Chief, only for a large green magical shield to block his path
"AIRSTRIKE SHIELD!" Naofumi shouted making a second one right behind the Warmaster, trapping him
"HUNDRED SWORDS!" Ren called out, swinging his sword to fire out a hundred blades, which penetrated his right side, making his arm go limp, a snarl coming out of his mouth as he tried to break the shields, only to roar in pain as a shotgun blast went off courtesy of the Chief.
"What now ugly?" Naofumi laughed before Atriox grabbed his throat shattering the shields and lifting him up. The snarl on Atriox's face became a smirk while Atriox flung Naofumi into Ren while he was about to bit into Chief's armour, working the servos in the armour as Chief held his head and was struggling with it
"CRIMSON BLADE!" Ren shouted as a red energy coated blade cut into the back of Atriox's leg making him howl in pain dropping Naofumi
"Sorry, you guys but COME FROM WEAPON OF WRATH: RAGE SHIELD!" Naofumi called out as his shield shifted into its rage mode with the red gem shining brightly "BURN!" he shouted as blood red flame was ejected from the shield and flew at Atriox, who spun top make sure only his injured side took the damage, seething in pain as the cursed flames was sent into the marrow of his bones. Acting fast Ren pulled one of the grenades off Atriox's belt and tossed it to Chief. Grabbing it Chief rounded on Atriox to look him in the face.
"Head's up" Chief said as he slammed the spike of the grenade into Atriox's eye. Blood flying as he tried to pull it out
"See you" Naofumi said as he pulled out his magnum and fired a round into the grenade "SHIELD PRISON!" he shouted wrapping Chief and Ren as well as himself in a ball of shield, making the shrapnel from the grenade bounce off.
Once the prison was disabled the trio looked at the carnage
"Good riddance" Chief said before the three of them turned to face Glass' team
"Sorry about that" Naofumi said as he glared at them, ready to engage
"Another time shield hero" L'Arc laughed
"What L'Arc!" Glass snapped
"It would be rude to attack when they're in this condition" Therese said as she looked to the sky "and tell your friend I look forward to seeing him" she bowed before the trio disappeared
"YOU BETTER RUN!" Ren shouted as he sat down
"So, now what?" Naofumi asked
"We stop Bitch from dying" Ren said
"She's dying?" Naofumi asked
"Her skin was ripped off, namely where the slave seal was" Chief informed him as a Pelican arrived to pick the three up. Naofumi entered and looked at his shield before sighing
"I'm probably going to regret what comes next." he said.
"NAOFUMI!" Bernie cried as she jumped into his arms
"How's the bitchy princess?" Naofumi asked
"The physical damage that he did was repaired, but she's still dying." Bernie said
"Excuse me for a second" Naofumi said as he walked over and knelt before her, looking conflicted as he touched the damaged area of Bitch and a green glow surrounded both like an aura
"What is he doing?" Filo asked
"I'm not sure." Melty said unsure of what was happening
"Something good hopefully" Dutch said looking at the others. Soon the green glow died down, forcing Naofumi to drink a potion.
"3...2...1" he counted down before the Bitch inhaled and coughed, making Melty gasp happily and threw her arms around her neck
"What did I miss?" Bitch groaned
"You nearly dying." Motoyasu said
"Sir Motoyasu," Bitch cried out hugging the spear hero "but how am I alive?"
"I healed you, only because if you died, it would cause the queen too much trouble." Naofumi grunted
"You" Bitch said ready to attack "Thank you" she said calming down
"But don't think for a single instant this lessens your punishment, you will still work with the ONI officer, the Shadows of your mother's office." Naofumi sternly told her
"Very well" Bitch said
"And us" Raphtalia glared at her
"What?" Naofumi asked
"Excuse me you demihuman filth?" Bitch sneered
"You will tag along with us on missions, so that way we can make sure you aren't ripped apart. You may get a chance to work with Motoyasu again, but only and only if you cooperate with us" she shot back
"YOU INSOLENT!" Bitch snapped
"Deal" Mirellia said
"Mother!" Bitch whined.
"This is alarming." Halsey said looking over the fight
"The fact that there is a Covenant fleet behind a magic seal, or we missed a High prophet?" Lord Hood asked
"The Prophet of Justice" Lasky frowned "Plus, from what we can gather it sounded like Atriox nearly had the queen and Naofumi murder Trash and Bitch!"
"But, he was prevented and came up with the current punishments" Knight said "So how did he do it, how did that Gorilla nearly made one of our soldiers weaken the seal on purpose!"
"They do have forerunner tech on this world" Halsey frowned
"As evident as that suppressor they found" Lasky said
"Indeed, where's Naofumi now?" Lord Hood asked a nearby AI
"Back at the village" Roland said
Back in the village Naofumi just sat on the dock smiling as the sounds of laughter and fun carried throughout the valley. A smile graced his face, it was peaceful...for now, he was sure the Covenant or at least the Banished would.
"Master?" Filo asked
"Oh hey Filo what's wrong?" he asked standing up
"The Queen and Melty are here to meet them" Filo said
"Okay, I'll be along shortly." he said as the young Filolial ran off. Shortly he stood up and walked to where the Queen and crown princess was. "Your highness, shorty" he greeted them
"Sergeant Naofumi" Mirellia smiled
"HEY!" Melty shouted
"MEL!" Filo cheered as she hugged the princess
"You ready?" Naofumi asked
"I am" Mirellia asked
"Okay, bring them over Chief" Naofumi said
"On my way" Chief said as he walked over with two Hakuto demihumans making Mirellia smile.
"Hello you two" she said softly
"Greetings Queen Mirellia, what is it we can do for you today?" the older male on said, Naofumi smiles peacefully before walking off, only to stop and look up frowning before smirking
"Bring on what is waiting for us, because we'll be ready for them." he declared
G'day Guys Grizz here, and wow its been awhile, sorry about that but other projects distracted me, anyway I hop you enjoyed that fight with Atriox vs the UNSC, I knwo I originally promised jut Naofumi fighting the Brute, but it just seemed more fun that way, like how I was going to deal with bitch, from her dying and her funeral with Naofumi being the sealbearer to lives being link. But this way worked the best and yes I knwo the other world trio didn't fight much.
Now Ren getting the ninja looking hayabusa armour was always planned out, heck he was going to get a sword linked with the armour but that will be next story, yes I am planning a sequel to this fic based on season 2. Whihc I might start doing when season 3 shows up for us, so look forward to that one.
