Ch. 52: Mōhitotsu no kyōsei hinan

At the Kuzuryuu manor, several of Fuyuhiko''s men are lining up while readying their weapons as they are bracing themselves as more and more zombies piling up outside the steel gate, as the numbers are starting to increase, and the zombies can be heard moaning while mindlessly trying to force their way through, causing a stampede as some of the zombies are getting trampled and killed in the process.

Fuyuhiko gritted his teeth as he had a feeling that the gate won't hold on for long and asked one of his men if the evacuation is finished, which the henchman said that they are still getting everyone out and head for the back exit, and there Fuyuhiko told the rest of his henchmen to prepare the vehicles as escaping on foot would not be an option, which the henchmen nodded.

"Yes, boss."

Then three of Fuyuhiko's men came and are carrying a crate of bottles with cloth while it's contents are filled with kerosene, which it turns out that they made some makeshift Molotov cocktail and there Fuyuhiko nodded as this would at least buy them time to get everyone loaded inside the vehicles so that they can make their escape.

However, they heard the gate making a creaking sound and Fuyuhiko stared wide-eyed as he realized what is about to happen, and his worries were realized as the steel gate collapses, and the zombies are now in, which Fuyuhiko told his men to go on the offensive, which they nodded in acknowledgement, realizing that they are now facing an uphill battle.

"Yes, boss."

As the henchmen opened fire, they sprayed the incoming zombies with bullets, shooting away, which the zombies kept on coming, which some of the henchmen started to panic as the zombies are coming their way, which Fuyuhiko starting to give in, but then remembered what Makoto and Kyoko said before about dealing with the zombies.

He then directed his henchmen on where to shoot, which the henchmen nodded as they decided to take the chance in order to buy more time in stalling the zombies until the evacuation is completed, so that Fuyuhiko and the rest would make their next move as they knew that they cannot stay here for long as more zombies would surely head towards here the moment they hear loud noises.

"Shoot them on their heads! That's their weakness! Don't waste your bullets! Aim for the head and nothing else!"

"Yes, boss!"

The henchmen began shooting the zombies on their heads, and there the zombies began to fall to the ground, and it worked and this raised their morale as the henchmen slowly became confident as they continue to shoot at the zombies, aiming their weapons at the head of the zombies, and soon the first wave had been wiped out, and there Fuyuhiko told one of his men to assist in evacuating the survivors, which the henchman nodded.

"Yes, boss!"

At the parking area within the mansion, Kizakura, Jin and Tengan are among those being loaded in an SUV, with the headmaster wanting to know if his daughter is joining in, which the henchman assured to him that Kyoko is also going to join the others in evacuating, which Tengan and Kizakura assuring him that he has nothing to worry about.

"…so there's no need to worry…"

"…she is joining the other evacuees…"

"So please calm down…"

"I…see…"

"So please wait here…"

"We're going to evacuate…"

"So please don't do anything rash…"

"Okay…"

Meanwhile, the Naegi siblings, Maizono, and the rest of Class 78 are about to be loaded in another SUV, which Komaru became worried after hearing sounds of gunfire, though Makoto assured to his younger sister that everything would be okay, saying that all they need now is find a safe area to stay and that's all it they are going to do.

Maizono placed a hand on Komaru's shoulder and said that Makoto will be with her so she has nothing to worry about, which somewhat calmed Komaru down as Makoto sat beside her and said that they are all going to stick together and no one would be left behind and get killed, saying that as long as hope is alive, everything will be okay.

"Its okay, Komaru…"

"But…"

"Everything will be fine."

"Really…?"

"Yes."

"…"

"Trust me."

"O-okay…"

However, things took a hilarious turn as Akamatsu is trying to ward off a heated argument between Chabashira and Saihara, as the former insisted that Saihara and the boys be used as bait for the zombies, saying that at least they are good for something and that there won't be any lechers inside the SUV, which irked the SHSL Detective as he finds the SHSL Aikido Master acting more than a paranoid, as she is also acting like a hardline feminist.

"Do you really hate boys that much?"

"That's because all you boys are the same!"

"We're not!"

"You are! Boys are lechers and you're going to take advantage!"

"I told you we're not!"

"You are!"

"We're not!"

"You are!"

"We're not!"

The Naegi siblings and Maizono sweat-dropped at seeing the two Class 80 classmates bickering like crazy as Akamatsu tried to calm them down, as she tells Chabashira that not all boys are lechers, assuring her that boys like Saihara and Naegi are trustworthy, which shocked Chabashira, as she couldn't believe that Akamatsu is actually defending boys without question.

There she accuses Saihara of BRAINWASHING Akamatsu and became increasingly paranoid and warns Akamatsu that boys are now CAPABLE of brainwashing girls into becoming subservient towards boys and make them agree with whatever the boys are saying, even going as far as accusing boys of verbally MANIPULATING girls to GO ALL THE WAY with boys, causing Saihara to lose his cool and Akamatsu had to calm both her classmates down.

"I told you we're not!"

"You are!"

"Chabashira…Saihara…calm down…"

"I already said that we're not!"

"No, you are! You're planning to turn us girls into your slave harem!"

"Chabashira…Saihara…calm down…"

"I told you we're not!"

"You are!"

"Chabashira…Saihara…calm down…"

Meanwhile, Aoi and Ohgami are helping Iruma in loading the weapons and other inventions inside the SUV, and there she said that she was able to program Kibo to head where she is currently at, and at the same time she was able to complete the two jetpacks, but advised that for now evacuating is the primary concern as they need a new place to stay.

Aoi was disheartened as she now missed the chance to find and rescue Yuta, but Ohgami assured to her classmate that it is necessary to stay alive and that for now Enoshima is keeping Yuta alive, and that is enough to keep her spirits up, which Iruma nodded, and Aoi reluctantly accepted that rescuing Yuta would have to wait for a later time.

"For now…we should find a place to rest and plan our next move. It'd be bad if you take the jetpacks now at a time like this…"

"Iruma is right, Asahina…you'll have to postpone your rescue attempt…"

"I…I..."

"Relax. You'll get your brother back."

"That's right, Asahina."

"…fine…"

"That's the spirit!"

"Be a little patient for now."

"…"

Things took a bit of a tension as some of Fuyuhiko's men are trying to restrain Natsumi, as she is insisting on staying at her elder brother's side, as Sato tells her that Natsumi cannot go out there as Fuyuhiko and his men are fighting off the zombies, reasoning that if Natsumi gets bitten she is done for.

"For goodness sake…you can't go out there right now!"

"But my brother is out there!"

"He and his men are holding off those freaks! You'll only get in the way!"

"But…but…"

"He wanted you safe…that's why we should evacuate!"

"I…"

"Please…don't upset your brother…"

"…"

The henchmen agreed, saying that if Fuyuhiko finds out that Natsumi gets bitten and turns into a zombie, he would have to painfully accept the fact and would be forced to kill her, and they urged Natsumi not to act rash and do as told, assuring her that Fuyuhiko will join the evacuation once everything settles down and the path is safe to pass.

"It'll be fine…"

"Boss will join us later…"

"So don't worry."

"…"

"So please…"

"Get ready to evacuate…"

"And don't cause trouble for your brother…"

"…"

Natsumi gritted her teeth as she is forced to relent and joined Sato as she boarded the SUV, where Hinata and Ikusaba joins in, and there a driver also joins in and said that once everyone is ready they are going to leave at the same time so that no one would be left behind, and told the four teens to be ready, which they nodded in acknowledgement.

"Okay!"
