Author's note: Sorry for the mix up about Denji's past but I decided the shootout backstory is canon
After school Denji and Reze went to this small café that's there's no people in
"Welcome. Oh it's you Denji" The shopkeep says
"Hey, boss" Denji greeted
"So you have a new friend huh. Power-chan or Aki-kun's not with you" The shopkeep says.
"Power has some errands and Aki's smoking, even though he's a high schooler.
"By all means grab a seat" The shopkeep said
"Thanks boss" Denji appreciated
"So Reze what do you want?" Denji asked
"Uhmm iced coffee and a cheesecake" Reze ordered
"Uhhm, Sakura" Denji waived at the waitress about her early 20s
"Denji, what's your order?" Sakura asked
"One iced coffee, once hot coffee and one cheesecake"
"Coming right, up" Sakura said and went back to the kitchen
"This is my favorite café, I'm not a fan of big cafes like Starbucks. I like the chill and quiet ones because I also study here and bring my friends in my spare time"
"Oh really, that's unusual of you" Reze said
"Unusual? You mean the chill and quite one" Denji said
"Yeah it's usually you're noise and boisterous" Reze said
"Sometimes I need some peace and quiet in life" Denji said
Reze smiled
Sakura came back with the orders and she went back again
"So you have any clubs to go to" Denji asked
"Honestly, I don't know, Denji" Reze said
"If you don't know where to join a club, some students go to a job, cram school, or just chill" Denji said.
"Ohh I see." Reze slurped her iced coffee and she said it was delicious"
"I know right, I like their coffee here" Denji put some milk and sugar to his coffee and drinks it
As Reze is enjoying her snack she sees a sign that says Help Wanted in Japanese
"I wish I could see the cherry blossoms, I missed them" Reze said
"Don't worry Reze, you'll see them next year. We'll go together I promise" Denji said
"Awwww" Reze said
