A/N: Sorry it took me so long to update, I am a full time student and am currently looking for a job. I don't know anything about hospital protocol or anything about the medical community.

Everyone has been waiting for what felt like hours. Henry and Elizabeth tried their best to comfort everyone but as time went on with no news their hope is slowly starting to diminish. Stevie can not stop pacing, while Jason seems to have shut down when his parents were asking questions about what happened and what did he know. It has been 45 minutes after Alison was brought in, an ER doctor came out to brief them on her condition. The doctor stated Alison's right lung was punctured, so she would need emergency surgery. After they signed the forms, all it was, was a waiting game. Henry and Elizabeth talked quietly as to not panic there other children, discussions of contacting law enforcement and a sexual assault forensic examination as Alison is a minor and is not at this moment able to give consent were the main topics. They knew that they needed to get the ball rolling to help get Alison justice and the fighting chance to do so.

Three hours later

Alison's surgeon came to the McCord's private waiting area surrounded by armed security and two detectives. He notified them that Alison is going to be okay, but there were some complications. Her heart stopped twice and she had to be resuscitated as well as she lost a lot of blood. She will be moved into her own private room and a nurse will be with them shortly to bring them to her. Then, after Alison is settled, her primary care doctor and nurse talk about her overall injuries and what the next steps would be in her care.

The McCord's have never had such relief in hearing that Alison is going to be okay. They are currently being led to see their Noodle. As they walk to the door the nurse assures them that Alison is okay and that seeing her like this will be hard.

Elizabeth is the first to open the door and her heart felt like it stopped beating for a moment as she took in the sight of her baby. She can hear gasps from Henry and her other babies as the first glimpse of their daughter and sister. Alison is covered in bruises, wires, and a large tube is sticking out of her mouth connected to a ventilator. As they make themselves comfortable around Alison, her doctor comes in. Introductions have been given, the doctor informs them that Alison has three broken ribs on her right side and one punctured her lung, bruised ribs on her left, swelling and bruises along her neck show signs of strangulation, bruising along her back, arms, and legs. Bruising on her knuckles indicates that she fought against her attacker. She also has a mild concussion, and a sprained wrist on her left hand. As per parent consent and hospital policy the 'rape kit' can be preformed while she is unconscious. Henry and Elizabeth let the doctor know that they contacted the police to start an investigation. The doctor let the family be on the note that if all goes well and Alison wakes up with no other issues then she will need to stay for three to four days for observation. In addition, a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) will be in to complete to 'rape kit', in which time the McCord family would have to leave the room.

For the next four hours, the McCord's headed home under great distress and reluctance but knew tomorrow would be a new challenge from them and Alison, they needed to prepare and that meant handling things at the office. Henry and Elizabeth tried to tell the kids that they need to go to school and work in the morning but they fought to stay with Alison, at least until she is released from the hospital. By the time they got back to the hospital Alison is back in her room, and everyone resumed their positions from early, trying to rest for the troubles they are all about to face.
