CHAPTER 3: Dispersal

CLANK* *CLANK* *CLANK* *CLANK* is all that is being heard in the big forested area, currently Cayde is putting the heat on his little student Naruto, who was also doing his best to defend and counter attack his sensei, it had been a month since they first met and two weeks since they started training and in that time both sensei and student learned a lot in a short time. Cayde for his part learned why the world he was stuck on had no light, he found the answer sooner than he thought, it was because this world had a different type of light called chakra, which is everywhere this explained why he saw these people doing crazy things that no normal people could and abnormaly big animals , this also made him realize something if he could also use this chakra and learn form it, he could teach it to Naruto, so whilst he trained Naruto to use the light, he himself would learn more about chakra and it's abilities, the fact that he was an EXO also made learning things faster and easier. On Naruto side he adapted quickly to his sensei's training, it's not to say it was easy at first, the whole of the first week he started training dealt with body conditioning , flexibility, and Nutrition. At the end of the same week Cayde gave Naruto a hunter knife that he made out of steel, the design of knife was really unique with the handle being wrapped in leather with two holes on the bottom side of the handle, the blade it self was thin but not to thin and straight, until the end of the blade where it began to curve, the top side of the blade was also straight but near the end there was gap between the blade with a little sharp edge and in the center of the blade a whole was there (for better reference on how the knife looks like just look up Destiny Hunter Knife). Naruto at first was surprised at the knife's design but still found it fascinating and then he started practicing combat with the knife with Cayde helping him every bit of the way. "Come on kid I'm not even sweating yet" Cayde said as he did an overhead slash *CLANK* Naruto had blocked the overhead slash with his knife before he was sweep kicked by his sensei and fell on his back, he tried to get up quickly but before he was even off the floor a knife was pointed in between his eyes by his sensei "I surrender" said Naruto defeatedly,before his sensei extended his hands to pick up the boy "don't beat yourself up kid you didn't do so bad, plus you did really well for a novice hunter" Cayde smirked whilst looking at Naruto, who had puffed his cheeks because of the jab that Cayde threw at him, it was then that the fox and snake appeared and jumped at Naruto who was still on the floor "hey there kiriko and Nagini did you guys miss me" during the two weeks of training Naruto named the fox kiriko and the snake Nagini and he brought treats every time he came to training, Cayde then interrupted the moment the three were having "sorry to end this wholesome moment for you three but I have to ask you something Naruto" Cayde said seriously losing his happy tone, Naruto knew that his sensei could see through him, he knew what his sensei was gonna ask him, so he got the fox and snake off of him and stood up to face his sensei, both of them knew what was going in each other's mind, then Cayde asked the question they were both thinking of "listen kid not be a critic about your current combat situation but today you seemed distracted, you were much better yesterday, you even avoided the same sweep kick that I used today, is something going on ?", Naruto didn't face his sensei after that question and that's all Cayde needed to see to figure out what was wrong with his student "It's because of what's gonna happen later today isn't it" Naruto looked at his sensei and spoke quietly "yeah" there was a silence around the clearing, Naruto then spoke again "I really wished that things hadn't have to come to this but it seems that theirs no choice" Naruto finished with a sad smile, Cayde looked at his student and spoke calmly "remember when I told you about you never know what you have until you lost it" Cayde looked at Naruto as he asked the question "I remember sensei" Naruto said quietly "can I tell you something else" Cayde asked, Naruto looked at his sensei and nodded his head "Family is not bounded by blood, it's found by the people you surrounded yourself with, it's the the people who bring out the best in you, it's corny but I like to think it holds a lot of truth" Naruto was silent for a while thinking on his sensei's words before asking "does that mean we're family" Naruto said in confusion "of course I've always wanted a little brother" Cayde said happily, Naruto smiled after his sensei's statement and hugged Cayde tightly, to which Cayde chuckled

LATER THAT DAY*

Naruto walked through the village with a sense of renewed vigor after his talk with his sensei he was ready for what was about to go down, the plan was simple and his sensei even named it operation: dispersal, the plan entailed Naruto using a genjutsu on a piece of paper which would take him out of his family clan, the paper would also change his name to Osiris no raitobeara, getting the documents and using the genjutsu on said paper's was the easy part, Cayde had taught Naruto genjutsu seeing it as a useful tool for a hunter trainee, the hard part of this plan was the timing and infiltration, Cayde had thought that it would be a good idea if Naruto were the one to infiltrate the hokage tower and put the documents with the other stacks of paper, which made sense because it would be easier to explain why Naruto was there, the problem with this is that the entirety of the hokage tower was being guarded by ANBU, Cayde had taught Naruto about be quick on his feet and showed him some stealth tricks but he still had lots to learn, still he would need to be at the top of his game to infiltrate the hokage's office, to make things a little easier Cayde had gotten Naruto some darker clothes which would help him, a black long sleeved shirt with a hoodie, black jogging pants, and black running sneakers to finish of the look Cayde got Naruto a porcelain black mask which covered his face except his eyes which even then it was still hard to see his eyes. Before he even knew it Naruto noticed that he already made it back to his "home" his mood changed to a neutral one and entered through the gate before entering the house, once he was inside he noticed that no one was inside the house he then heard noise outside and assumed that his "family" was outside training or sleeping , he was proven right when he was going upstairs he looked through a window on the top floor and saw his "family" along with his "mother's" friends along with their children playing a game of tag with Mito sitting next to his mother sadly, Naruto felt sad when he saw his sister, she was in the middle of it all and she would have no one to care for her like he did, but he made his decision and their is no turning back "maybe I can get her out of here too" Naruto said as an afterthought "Get who out of here?" said a woman's voice, he spun around and noticed a woman about his "mothers" age, with light brown eyes without pupils, brown hair which is tied into a bun with a red ribbon in it, strands of her hair framed both sides of her face hanging over her ears from behind them, fair light skin, and she was wearing a dark teal elegant dress which had an aquamarine coloured gem below the collar. "Uhh n-no one" said Naruto nervously "haven't I seen you from somewhere" said the woman curiously whilst looking she looked at Naruto with a curious face, before her eyes widened and she spoke " that's right you ran into me a few weeks back" she said happily for remembering the boy, Naruto didn't know what she was talking about until he remembered his birthday and the woman he ran into on accident "Y-Your the lady I ran into, I-I'm so s-sorry I didn't mean to hit you I" Naruto was cut off from saying more when the lady placed a finger on his lips and chuckled "It's okay I just wanted to know who I ran into that day, to think it kushi-Chan's oldest child, I'm Yukimaru Yamanaka by the way" said Yukimaru as she extended her had to shake his "Naruto" said our blonde reddish hero sheepishly as he shook her hand " Soo who were you thinking of taking out of here" Yukimaru asked with a curious face and tone, Naruto would have answered immediately but Yukimaru's curious face made him feel warm, it was quite for a couple seconds before Naruto regained his sense's "oh uh I was just thinking of taking my sister Mito out to eat or something" Naruto said with a tint of pink on his face, Yukimaru noticed his shyness and snickered "am I making you feel uncomfortable Naruto-Kun" Yukimaru said teasingly "n-no no no you're fine I was just caught off guard" Naruto said honestly and in hurry while flailing his hands in the air, Yukimaru smiled at Naruto's reaction finding it cute before she began to speak "It's okay Naruto-kun I'm not trying to make you squeal", Naruto visibly calmed down and things got quite before Naruto spoke "I best be going Yukimaru-San, it was nice meeting you" Naruto said with a smile of a fox, before passing her and moving towards his room "aren't you going outside with the rest of your family and friends" Yukimaru asked, confused as to why Naruto was not going outside with the rest of the children "I don't have any friends" Naruto responded quickly with a neutral tone. Yukimaru soon saw the young boy entering his room and heard the same boy lock the door, it surprised her how well mannered the boy was compared to his other siblings excluding Mito, what surprised her more was how fast the boys mood changed from happy to neutral, although nothing compared to her shock when she saw no chakra within him, Yukimaru was a censor type so noticing chakra in people came easy even civilians had bits of chakra but Naruto had none, this disturbed her although she did not know why, she then went down stairs and outside, keeping the interaction she had with boy in her mind.

LATER THAT NIGHT*

Night had come sooner than expected for Naruto by now everyone in his house was asleep the only person who wasn't sleeping was himself, making his way out of bed Naruto put on the clothes that his sensei had gotten him, once dressed Naruto got out of his room through the window and jumped the wooden gate, Naruto scaled the buildings using the environment making his way across the roof he soon had to get down and use the streets to make his way to the hokage tower, eventually Naruto had made it to the entrance of the hokage tower not trying to be seen by the ANBU Naruto avoided the lights that came from the streets and was looking for a way to enter the tower he then noticed there was a broken wooden board that was part of the fence surrounding the tower, using his foot he kicked the wooden board breaking it a bit more for him to go in, Naruto then noticed that there was a back door of the tower, but Naruto knew better, he knew that the ANBU would be guarding that, back on a search for a better way to enter the tower a window came into view although it was a foot taller than him Naruto took a gamble to see if said window was unlocked, getting a small running start he ran up the wall making sure his hands were on the ledge of the window and his gamble paid off as the window was unlocked, after opening the window Naruto made his way through the tower avoiding the light that came from the moon was easy, passing the secretary's desk he then made it to the hokage's office door and slightly opened it not seeing anything out of the ordinary he opened and closed it fully without trying to make to much noise, now that he was inside, he noticed the stack of papers on the hokage's desk and slipped the genjutsu laced documents on said stack of papers making his way out of the room he took two steps back away from the hokage's office door before looking around him and making sure that no one was around, retracing the steps he used to get in the tower he soon found himself where he had broken into and made his way to the other side of the fence. Running back and using the terrain to his advantage Naruto made back to his "families" home one last time after going through the front gate instead of jumping the fence, he opened the door to his "house" and closed it gently, he took off his mask and was making his way up the stairs to his room for the last time until he heard crying, being a curious boy he followed the crying noise to the living room where he noticed a blonde woman on the couch crying and sniffing, he also noticed that there was a scent of sake, getting closer to the couch he finally got a look of the woman, it was Tsunade, he was about to speak but Tsunade beat him to it "Goddamm perverted hermit" Tsunade said quietly "I give him a chance thinking that he might actually change" the sentence was said with tears "I'm a fool to believe him" she would have talked more but then a hand was placed on her shoulder, she turned to look that it was Naruto, she immediately looked away with a scowl "what do you want brat", "I just wanted to know if you were okay, but I know when I'm not wanted" Naruto said the final part of his sentence as he walked away from the room, in a moment of fear and loneliness Tsunade called for him "W-wait Brat", Naruto stopped when he heard her call out and turned around to look at her "Can you sit with me" Tsunade said in sorrowful tone, Naruto turned around and made his way around the couch and sat next to Tsunade and things were quite between the two, eventually the noise of crying started to be heard, Tsunade was shedding tears m and Naruto could tell from experience they were tears of betrayal " I should have never given that fool a chance, why why why why did I expect him to change no matter what Jiraiya is still Jiraiya" Tsunade said the last part quietly not trusting her voice to continue what she was about to say and that's how the rest of their time went Tsunade would vent about her problems with Jiraya and how he lied to her and Naruto would listen, after a long time venting tears and emotion, Tsunade asked Naruto a question "why did you stay here and listen to me you know that your parents aren't gonna be happy that you stayed up late", Naruto was caught off guard by the question but he thought about, why was he here, he could have easily ignored her just like his parents did but that's when it clicked "Because no one should be sad by themselves, they should always have someone to be there for them even if no one was there for them" Tsunade was looking at the floor thinking about Naruto's words, even in a bit of a drunken state it caught her by surprise how well he understood her situation but then that made her reflect on how she treated the reddish blonde boy, and she remembered all the times his family would forget about him, that's when it all clicked for her and she felt an empty feeling in her stomach. Naruto noticed that it was three in the morning and thought that it would be a good idea for both of them to get some rest, getting up from the couch he extended a hand to the drunk sannin, she looked at him with a drunken gaze and spoke "what's this supposed to mean" Naruto sighed then explained " it's three in the morning I think it would be a good idea if we both went to bed" taking a while to think about he said Tsunade relented and took his hand and he led her to her own room, but when they were front of the door she stopped "I'm not sleeping in there" Tsunade said bluntly "Can I ask why" said Naruto in confusion, Tsunade didn't look at him as she spoke in the same sorrowful tone when Naruto first saw her "We shared this room" Naruto understood immediately but now he had to think about where she could sleep "unless you want to sleep on the couch I don't know where you could go" Tsunade gave some thought into Naruto's words before she spoke bluntly "Let's use your room" Naruto didn't know how to feel about the current situation, he didn't have a problem with Tsunade using his room to sleep but at the same time he needed tonight to make his escape making up his mind Naruto helped Tsunade to his "room" once in his room he set Tsunade on his bed and laid her down, he then grabbed one of the extra pillows on his bed and put on the ground and then grabbed an extra blanket before trying to lay down himself but his hand was caught by Tsunade who was looking at him with a face of thankfulness although she tried to hide it "Thank you Naruto" she said quietly without looking at him "For what" Naruto says in confusion "for listening" Tsunade said, now looking at him before she spoke again "Naruto can I tell you something" Naruto nodded his head, Tsunade took a breath and looked at him regretfully "It's about your parents, they aren't going to send to you to the academy" she finished with a sigh, Naruto already knew what she was talking about so it didn't surprise him as much anymore, but his anger was still there and the reminder didn't help, though he hid his anger well. Tsunade was surprised at Naruto's blank face and no emotion reaction, it was as if he didn't care about what his parents did to him, she was about to speak but Naruto spoke "It's just as I expected" Naruto said in a blank voice surprising Tsunade "what do you mean, did you already know that they weren't gonna send you to the academy " Tsunade said with worry "it doesn't matter, not anymore" Naruto said in an emotionless voice, this sadden Tsunade seeing what she, Jiraiya and his family turned the boy into. Naruto then took his hand out of Tsunade's grip and went to lay down before he was interrupted by Tsunade again with her hand on his shoulder "listen kid don't do anything stupid okay that tone and look on your face I've seen it many times whatever you are thinking of doing don't do it" Regret was evident in Tsunade's voice "you shouldn't concern yourself with the bastardized child of the fourth hokage Tsunade-San" Naruto said in a dead tone, Tsunade was shocked at his words and was about to retort but Naruto spoke before she did "besides" Naruto said as he turned to Tsunade "None of you will have to deal with the burden of me being here" Naruto finished as he used a small genjutsu to make the drunken Tsunade fall asleep. Naruto now had a lot of time to get his stuff packed and ready to go, with Tsunade being drunk the genjutsu worked much better than expected, freedom was in his hands and he was not gonna lose the opportunity to take it.

NEXT DAY*

Tsunade woke up with a groan and a foggy memory, moving up from the bed she was laying on, she took notice of the clock and saw that it was two in the afternoon, she then made her way off the bed and made her way out of the room all the while she felt like she was forgetting something, as she closed the door she didn't seem to notice a piece of paper that was folded on the desk addressed to her. meanwhile, "Alright that should be it for your room" said Cayde as put the finishing touches of his little student's room, Naruto took a look at his room and was happy with the look "thank you Cayde-Sensei" Naruto said with a big smile, Cayde ruffled his students hair which got a pout from the blonde "well kid welcome to your new life and we've got much work to be done, but before we get started with that, I've gotta go get some groceries, seeing as you haven't eaten yet" Cayde finished his sentence with a smile as he heard Naruto's stomach growling "Y-Yeah you may be right about that Cayde Sensei" Naruto said sheepishly "alright I'll be back soon so make yourself at home at your new home" Cayde then used a henge to change his appearance to a tall man with brown shaggy hair, a thin beard, blue eyes, and tannish skin, Cayde then left the apartment with Naruto in it, Naruto stood in his room for awhile just looking, he than went to go lay on his bed, he laid on his bed for awhile thinking about his troubled past and about his unknown future, he was cut short from his thoughts when he heard scratching noise's from his window, he then smiled seeing that it was Kiriko and Nagini, getting up from bed and opening the window he let the fox and snake in "you two never cease to amaze me you know" they both hissed and yipped at him, they then hopped on top of him, the three laid on the bed, the fox and snake were already asleep and Naruto was still thinking about his future and what that might bring with his new life.

MEANWHILE*

In an underground base in rice country a pale figure sat on a throne with a smile, the person was looking at someone who was kneeling in front of them and spoke "Report" the figure on the throne said, the person kneeling than began to speak "The Hidden Leaf Village has already began training the two jinchuriki and your ex-teammates have been helping with their growth" the figure on the throne hummed, then asked another question "And how about the other one" the figure on the throne asked "it seems like you were right in your assumption, the boy has been training in secret with someone else but I can't get an accurate description, it also seems like as of last night the boy is no longer apart of his family clan" the figure on the throne than started to think about the current situation "This makes things a little easier but at the same time a little more difficult, we won't always keep tabs on the boy seeing as he now will be traveling with this mysterious sensei of his and on the same topic we don't know much about this man" the figure on the throne was stuck on a crossroads and was thinking of plan, until the thought's they had were cut short "There may be another way to get closer to the boy master" the figure on the throne raised an eyebrow "do tell", the kneeling figure took a breath before speaking "The boy has a connection to a fox and a snake and sees them as a part of his family" seeing where the conversation was going the figure on the throne began to chuckle before standing up and walking towards the doorway of the darken throne room "Good job Kabuto-Chan, you've always seem to prove your usefulness" the kneeling figure now known as Kabuto stood up with a smile and spoke " I live to serve Orochimara-sama" The figure now known as Orochimara opened the door of the throne room with lights from torches showing a pale skinned woman with long black hair, yellow snake like eyes and body to make any other woman jealous "I wonder if Manda is looking forward to having another summoner" said snake sanin with a grin
