Beautiful
Author's Note: Hey everyone and welcome back to Beautiful! Here is a magical update over a year later xD Sorry, I kind of fell out of wanting to write for the My Hero Academia fandom for a while. I just couldn't get the words flowing. Sorry to everyone who has been waiting patiently – or impatiently xD – for me to update xD but I'm back and here we go!
So, I'm still on the fence about what exactly I'm going to do with Aizawa towards the end of the fic. Right now, Aizawa is still being addressed with male pronouns until I make my final decision! Also, feel free to share your thoughts below about what you would like/think I should do! The League will of course make appearances cause how can I not. I adore Dabi a lot so like, how can I not make sure he's in here xD
Anyway, on with the fic!

Chapter Two: Adjusting to Life
Chapter Summary: Class 1-A is adjusting to life with Aizawa as a female. Todoroki talks to Aizawa. The League of Villains hear about the attack on Class 1-A.
Aizawa had not been surprised in the slightest that his students appeared throughout the day of wanting to ask him questions. He could see it all over their faces. Especially, Midoriya's. Midoriya was always carrying around that notebook and he would catch him writing things down in it whenever they were training. It was a nice skill the boy had. Analyzing quirks in the way he was. Though, those notebooks could be dangerous in the wrong hands. It was a teenager thing, so he was going to leave it be until he had to do something about it.
They were silently working on their course work as Aizawa took a seat at his desk. They were all working on exactly what he told them to be. Why excessive force in the field wasn't the way to go. There was a moment where he was proud of his students for standing up for each other, and even for him but he couldn't allow it to go unscathed. Being a hero didn't give a license to take matters into their own hands.
It felt odd, he didn't feel as tired as he normally was. He would probably place it on being from the fact he had been unconscious in the hospital for two days. He could see the looks he was getting. There were many of concern and just questioning. They were all itching to ask him questions. He could see it. Though, there was a sense of calm over the room. Like relief.
He leaned back in his chair, continuing to look over the last few days of work that his students had done for his class. It was clear that their concern had overshadowed their work. His students, so kind and caring. They were the kind of people that he hoped this world wouldn't change. The only change he wanted to see from them was growth and maturity.
He could see Todoroki eyeing him. The guilt that he could see in his eyes. He had spoken to Kayama on their way here. She had told him about what Todoroki had been saying and doing. How much guilt he had been feeling about the situation. This wasn't his fault. It would never be his fault. It was an unfortunate situation that he was in, but Todoroki was safe. This didn't happen to his student.
He would take the hit any day. For any of them.
He sighed as he closed the folder, placing his hands on the desk as he pushed himself up. He was still getting used to his new body. How different he felt. He could live with it. He was still him either way. Did it truly matter if he was male or female? Even if it was odd to look down at his own hands and they didn't look like what he was used too.
His movements had immediately brought the students' attention to him as he moved to his podium. He stood behind it, looking out at each one of them. There was so much relief in him seeing their faces. It was one thing being told they were okay but seeing them was a different story.
"Once you are done with your reports, you can bring them up to my desk. I understand why you did what you did, but as heroes in training, how you show yourselves to civilians as a student can change the way that the citizens will see you." Aizawa stated. Even hearing his own voice was a trip all in its own. It was just strange. He bit down on his lip for a second as he sighed, "I know you all were concerned, but I can assure you, that this will change nothing that happens within in this class. This is the life of a pro hero. If you can't handle that, this job won't be for you."
He could see that they were taking in the information, but he could also see how conflicted they looked. Yaoyorozu rose her hand, with a look that Aizawa recognized on her face, "I would like to apologize, Aizawa-sensei. We should have known better."
Aizawa exhaled sharply, folding his hands together as he twisted a foot around his ankle. "I'm talking to you about this because emotions can absolutely get in the way of hero work. I'm not telling you not to show emotion. Take All Might for example. When you are in a fight, those around you can see it. If you become… erratic, least likely whoever you are trying to save or protect won't be as inclined to listen to you." He stopped for a second, he wanted to convey his message to them. What he was wanting them to learn from this. They were still so young. Just kids. They wouldn't be able to control their emotions like a seasoned hero would. It's a learned trait. They have to continue to grow and learn. This they could take something from. "What people don't always seem to see; you are all still just children. Your emotions are likely to come out more. What I want you to take from this is a lesson in learning how to hold back. You are allowed to be angry. Worried. It's about making sure that your emotions don't cloud over what you have to do as a hero. The line between hero and villain can easily be blurred in a fight." With that being said, he leaned back up, and started further into the lesson.

With their lesson done for the day, Aizawa was preparing to leave the room, pausing as he noticed Todoroki coming up to his desk. He could see the way that Todoroki was shifting his weight. How uncomfortable that he was. Aizawa couldn't stop the soft look on his face, but he was able to mask it almost immediately. "Todoroki, you should be in your seat."
"I know." Todoroki whispered. His voice was so low. Barely audible. "I just wanted to say that I'm… sorry."
Aizawa peered around Todoroki's shoulder for a moment, seeing that the others were trying to appear as if they weren't listening. He would prefer to have this conversation with Todoroki in private. Away from the prying ears of his classmates, but he also knew that Todoroki would just continue on this path of guilt unless they got it out of the way immediately.
"There is nothing for you to apologize for, Todoroki." Aizawa stated, keeping his voice as firm as possible. "None of this was your fault. I would rather this happen to me than to any of you. I am your teacher. You are my responsibility. This doesn't change the fact I can still do my job. Thanks for the concern, Todoroki, but there will never be a moment where you have to apologize to me for something like this."
Todoroki seemed content with the answer, nodding as he excused himself back to his desk. Taking a second to settle his classwork onto his desk. He could see just how hard Todoroki was taking this. Todoroki was always one of the one students who never really showed much at first, but now that he's made friends and opened up more to his classmates, he was letting himself show to them. Aizawa took a mental note to keep an eye on him for the time being.
They still had a long way to go, but he was sure in time that the class would adjust. He still had some adjusting to do himself, but he would use this to their advantage. Give them more experience and learning time from what transpired. There was nothing they could do to change what happened to him. Aizawa didn't regret it. He wouldn't let them either.
X
With Aizawa departing from the classroom and waiting for All Might to arrive for their Fundamental Studies class, they had all taken the moment to let what they had learned today sink in. This was such an adjustment. It was so strange. Seeing Aizawa the way he was now. Todoroki was still sitting at his desk, fidgeting for a moment as the rest of the class fell into a chatter.
"Aizawa-sensei is so pretty." Ashido stated, screeching for a moment as she looked at Jirou. "He cleaned up so nicely as a man. No wonder he looks amazing as a woman."
"Did you see the look on Mic-sensei's face when Aizawa-sensei came in?!" Kaminari questioned. The class was always so full of gossip. It was one thing that Todoroki learned about a lot of them.
Ashido bounced in her chair, her excitement almost overflooding. "I did! He looked so starstruck! Who wouldn't be! Our sensei is so beautiful!"
"Should we really be talking about this?" Yaoyorozu questioned. "This seems so… invasive."
"Our teacher's change is none of our business. We as a class will continue to respect him exactly the way we have been!" Iida exclaimed, flying out of his chair as he chopped his hands as he did so. Todoroki snorted, shaking his head as he looked down at his hands. That could have been him. It should have been. This never should have happened to Aizawa. Though, he didn't seem to mind. Todoroki would try to put it in the back of his mind, but it was screaming at him every single time Aizawa was even mentioned. "Aizawa-sensei has made it clear to us that he is alright."
Ashido whined for a second, "But—Iida!"
"You're all idiots." Bakugou grumbled, "Does it really matter?! He's still the same person!" Todoroki blinked as he looked over to Bakugou. Bakugou wasn't even looking at any of them. Still looking out the window with his chin braced on his palm. His words had everyone quieting down. "If you start treating him differently because he's got the body of a woman, you're the problem."
"Bakugou and Iida are right." Shinsou interjected. "Yeah, it's strange to see our teacher different than he was, but it doesn't really change anything."
Midoriya choked for a second, turning in his chair with that analytic look on his face, "Well, it might."
"What are you talking about?" Todoroki questioned, blinking as he looked at his friend.
Midoriya chuckled slightly, the nervousness clear on his face, "We don't really know about this quirk, and yeah… sensei seems to be fine, but it could affect his hero work. He worked really hard, you know, to get to where he was. I really want to know what this quirk could do. We all saw it. He said his injuries had been healed from before."
"Oh, I see!" Yaoyorozu exclaimed, "Maybe… this quirk helped the instability of his quirk that was caused from the USJ."
Asui hummed for a second, bringing a finger to her chin, "I wonder how he physically changed? Women tend to be more flexible, right? Aizawa-sensei is pretty flexible before, so maybe he could use that to his advantage."
"This is Aizawa-sensei we're talking about. He's good at adapting." Shinsou stated, "I'm sure if there were any major changes, he would figure them out."
Todoroki looked back to Bakugou, seeing the blonde look at him. Neither of them to say anything to each other as he felt the smile come to his face and he mouthed, "Thank you."
"So, are we just not going to talk about how Mic-sensei looked like a lovesick puppy?" Kaminari muttered.
Before anyone else could say anything, the door slid open with All Might giving a loud shout of, "I am here for our lesson!"
The subject had been quickly dropped as they returned to their seats, waiting for All Might to officially start the class.

Aizawa officially had a headache. As he walked the halls, the stares on him were constant. He had made a stop at Powerloader's to get his new measurements sent in to get a new hero costume for the time being. Aizawa was preparing for the worst. In the case if he never changed back, he had to make sure that he had everything. Powerloader had put a rush in on his costume, ensuring that he would get it within the next week or two. What he was wearing would work for now.
He had to thank Kayama for at least sticking close to what he was used to. Female clothes felt odd. They weren't as baggy as his stuff normally was. Hugging him in places that he normally didn't care for clothing to be. He supposed it would be fine. Kayama did make sure that he at least had a good amount of clothes for a week, and he could always wear his actual shirts to bed if he needed to.
He had decided to go to the teacher's lounge until he needed to go back to his classroom. The others were all in their own classes at the time, leaving just him there. He was already getting tired of the questions. If he was okay. How pretty he apparently was. Why did looks matter so much? He had to be honest, he kind of missed his messy look. At least then, people left him alone.
He had graded papers, tried to take a nap. Nothing was working to keep his mind off of stuff. He kept replaying what happened in the hospital. What he had learned.
The villain had no known connection to the League of Villains, so it was best to possibly assume it was just a one-off attack. His criminal history didn't point to aligning with them either.
At least, this time it wasn't the League going after his students again.
Honestly, the League had been relatively quiet as of lately. Not much coming from them. It was keeping Aizawa on high alert. They seemed to have it out for his class. They were all dangerous and tracking their actions in hopes of finding their next target was a good thing. A few of the pro heroes were still working on keeping an eye on them.
He was so incredibly tired. He was already ready for this day to be over. Ready to just curl up in his bed. He leaned back in his chair, sighing as he curled his arms over his chest. He peered over his shoulder, hearing as the door slid open to see Nezu standing there.
"Aizawa-kun! There you are!" Nezu exclaimed.
"Principal Nezu." Aizawa muttered, nodding his head.
"You look well." Nezu stated, padding over with his arms behind his back. "How are you feeling?"
Aizawa shrugged. "I'm as alright as I can be."
Nezu had a slight smile on his face as he pulled himself up onto the chair next to Aizawa, twisting until he was facing him. "If you need a few days to get adjusted, please take them, Aizawa-kun. I'm sure no one would have any objections."
Aizawa felt the smile tug on his face as he almost instinctively settled his face into his capture weapon. "Thank you, Principal Nezu but that won't be necessary. I'm perfectly fine so missing days won't do me any good."
Nezu didn't say anything back to him for the time being, instead surveying him for a moment. There was something always unsettling about the way that Nezu was able to calculate to him and around him. Nezu released a breath, leaning forward and patting his paw against Aizawa's knee. "If you need anything, you just let me know."
"I will."

Finally, the day had come to an end, and everyone had returned to their dorms. Aizawa sighed as he looked down at his strung-out clothes from where he had been going through all of it. He moved around, picking them up and placing them into a pile on his bed. He would have to figure out what to do with them for the time being. He pulled off his capture weapon and untucked his shirt from his belt. He switched out of the pants and into a pair of shorts that had been in the bag. They weren't ones he was used to, and they were on the shorter side. Of course, Kayama had to sneak them in. She was probably loving the idea of Shouta being turned into a woman.
If he was being honest, he was indifferent about it. Even if it felt strange and none of his clothes fit properly anymore. Which just made it a pain.
Deciding to leave them for later, he turned and left his room, heading for the main dormitory of Heights Alliance. He could already hear the ruckus before he even stepped foot inside. He was glad to see his students back to their normal selves. As he got through the door, the first thing he had seen was Bakugou and Todoroki in the kitchen with the self-proclaimed Baku Squad and Deku Squad's. Shinsou was leaning draped over Midoriya's shoulders, his chin balanced on Midoriya's shoulder as the green haired teenager looked down at his notebook.
The rest of the students were moving between the living spaces and tables. A few of them rushing around. The quieter ones were sitting on the couch, talking quietly among themselves.
Bakugou was the first to meet his eyes, lifting up what looked like a cupcake, with a simple, "Want one?"
Aizawa shrugged, walking forward, "Why not." The room had almost immediately quieted down from his presence now being known. Most of them standing as if he was about to give out an instruction. "Continue to enjoy your night. I'm not here to lecture anyone." Bakugou handed him the treat as he leaned back against the counter, looking back at his students. It was a nice sight to see that Bakugou and Midoriya seemed to be getting along for the most part. Especially after constantly being at each other's throats earlier in the school year. "You guys seem to be having fun."
His statement had cut through the tension, relieving them of what they thought might have been him coming to tell them to calm down.
Ashido was bouncing on her feet, waltzing over to him, "So, Aizawa-sensei…" Her sentence trailed as Aizawa took a bit of the cupcake, the pleasing taste hitting his tongue a second later. Either Bakugou made these, or Sato did. Probably Bakugou from the fact he was in the kitchen. "Can I do your hair?!" Aizawa blinked as he looked at the hopeful look on Ashido's face. How nervous she also looked.
He sighed, rubbing a hand over his face. "Do you not have anything better to do?!"
"I—your hair looks really soft." Ashido muttered.
Aizawa looked over, grumbling as he muttered out a quick, "Fine."
Ashido cheered, clapping her hands as Aizawa slid into one of the free chairs. He continued eating on the cupcake, listening as the others fell back into the conversations that they had been in. The pink skinned girl moved around, getting up behind him as she reached out, bringing some of his hair into her hands. "Oh my gosh! I was right! It is so soft!"
He didn't say anything back as he just let Ashido go at it. Twisting his hair and doing whatever she wanted with it. This wasn't something he did, or even normally did. She was having fun with it. He would do it if it ensured that his students knew for a fact that he was indeed okay, and he hadn't been just saying it.
As weird as it sounded, it actually felt nice. Not many people were allowed to touch his hair. He rarely even let his friends do so. Maybe Hizashi at times. They had stayed like this as he let Ashido continue what she was doing, the others were back to moving around the kitchen. Bakugou and Todoroki were the ones actually doing the baking. Well, it was more Bakugou was trying to teach Todoroki what to do. The others were doing the last of their schoolwork at the table, a few of them occasionally asking a question about one of their assignments.
Aizawa had actually started helping them, going through it with them.
He had lost track of the time as he heard the door open again and the loud voices of Hizashi and All Might coming through the door. He peered through the corner of his eye, seeing All Might passing something off to Tokoyami and Jirou with a smile on his face as Hizashi questioned, "Have you seen Aizawa?"
Jirou pointed over to where he was sitting, "He's right there."
Hizashi turned, stopping as his gaze landed on them. "Oh—you're letting—" Hizashi looked shocked as he approached, his hands stuffed deep into his pockets, but the large grin on his face. "This isn't something you usually do." Shouta shrugged. Hizashi chuckled, leaning in as he said, "Is this whole thing making your soft side come out more?" He teased. "Maybe you should have been turned into a girl sooner." Hizashi wasn't in his hero costume anymore and his hair was down, pulled up on his hand in a loose bun.
Aizawa felt his eyebrow twitch as he glared at his friend. "Mic, shut the—"
Hizashi snickered, reaching up and poking at Aizawa's cheek. "I'm right, aren't I?"
"Being a woman has nothing to do with it." Shouta hissed. "You are such a pain."
Hizashi chuckled, leaning back up as he stretched his back, "Oh, you're making sweets!" He almost immediately moved around, crowding around the students.
Aizawa sighed, leaning back just as Ashido exclaimed, "I'm done!" He turned as Ashido held up a small mirror and he could see what she had done. There were two braids in his hair, pulled back and tied together, the rest of his hair falling down his back and some over his shoulders. It actually looked nice. "How do you like it?"
Aizawa let the smile come to his face, "It's nice, Ashido."
Ashido grinned, bouncing on her feet for a second, "You look really pretty, Aizawa-sensei!"
Aizawa snorted, shaking his head. He really was getting that comment a lot today. He pushed himself up, placing his hand on her shoulder for a second, "Thank you." He was just being nice, but she looked so proud of herself. Even if it wasn't exactly what he was comfortable with, seeing his students happy made him happy. "Have you finished your schoolwork?"
Ashido paused, looking guilty for a second before she was muttering, "Maybe." And sneaking off. Aizawa shrugged, turning to face All Might now.
All Might was shuffling on his feet. "I'm glad to see that you are alright, Aizawa-kun."
Aizawa shook his head, "Why wouldn't I be?"
"You just always seem to be… never mind." All Might muttered, grinning as he smiled, "I'm glad to see that you haven't changed anyway."
"Don't see how it would." Aizawa grumbled.
Hizashi had came around the counter again, stopping by him as he tilted his head, "Mind if we speak outside?"
Aizawa immediately started off towards the door, noticing that both Hizashi and All Might followed him. It was relatively comfortable outside, but he still curled his arms over his chest and placed his hands on them to keep them slightly warm. "What's going on?" He questioned as soon as the door were closed.
"I spoke to Tsukauchi. The villain really isn't talking much." All Might stated, "It's looking like this man's quirk can't be deactivated without him, but they aren't confident in letting him out of his cancelation cuffs."
Aizawa understood. The man was dangerous no matter what they thought. He might not be All for One, but he was still a disgusting human either way. What he had learned that he had did. He would rather him stay behind bars with quirk canceling cuffs on him. He had gone after Todoroki. Who knows what that man had up his sleeve. He had ten victims who didn't come forward. Rather it was out of shame or fear. He didn't know. He wasn't going to chance it.
"Because of that, me and Kayama had decided to go get a bunch of stuff for you." Hizashi added, "That way you have it. I tried to make sure I stayed as close to your style as possible."
Aizawa nodded, "Thank you."
Hizashi gave him a smile, "You're my pal, Shouta."
Shouta smiled. Something about Hizashi saying that didn't feel right, but they were friends so he would have to live with it. "I'll leave you two alone." All Might said, giving his words of departure before he was going back into Heights Alliance. Leaving the two of them standing there.
They stayed quiet for a second as Shouta peered over to Hizashi. Seeing the blonde looking right back at him. There was an admiration in his eyes. One that Shouta had seen often. "Shou—"
"Don't ask me if I'm okay." Shouta muttered. "I've heard that enough today."
Hizashi gave him a soft smile. "Shouta, that wasn't what I was going to say. Don't you think I know you well enough by now that I would know." The blonde stated, cocking his head as he smiled. Aizawa gritted his teeth. He was kind of snappy, he had to admit. It's just been a long day. People gawking at him. Asking him if he was fine. If the USJ couldn't knock him down, why would this? "I was going to say that I have movies and snacks. Why don't we go relax. You look like you need it."
Shouta smiled, shaking his head, "Alright."

Dabi waltzed into the League's hideout; his hands deep into his pockets as he made his way into the building. The others were lounging around, not necessarily doing much. This information would be good. It definitely would catch Shigaraki's attention.
"Dabi, you're late." Shigaraki hissed.
Dabi grumbled, "Didn't know we had a proper time." He shot back but the smirk came to his face, "When I was in town a few days ago. I saw something interesting. Involves that class of brats and that teacher you have a hard on for." Shigaraki immediately was up and looking at him, peeking around the hand on his face. "Seems like someone got ballsy and moved into our turf. Eraserhead got taken the hospital for it."
"Who thinks they have the right to mess with our heroes?!" Shigaraki hissed. "Those are our brats to kill."
Dabi chuckled, twisting his ankles together as he leaned back against the wall. Moving to recount what he had seen. There was one piece of information that he knew, but he supposed that he was going to keep that to himself for the time being.
Shigaraki did not look pleased at what he was hearing. Hissing out, "I want that man dead."
"I'll happily do it for you." Dabi stated, lifting one of his hands and letting it ignite for a second in his blue flames.
"Do it, Dabi."

By the next morning, Shouta hadn't taken down what Ashido had done to his hair. Just throwing on his clothes, cleaning up slightly and heading back towards the school. The students should already be in the classroom, and he was due to be there in fifteen minutes.
As he moved along, Hizashi and Nemuri had caught up to him, taking up a place on either side of him. He hated the fact that he was now shorter than before. He looked tiny between the two of them. It could have almost brought a pout to his face, but he didn't have the energy to care.
"You're looking cute today, Aizawa." Nemuri purred, wrapping her arm around his shoulders for a second. "You actually did your hair."
"I did not." Aizawa grumbled.
"Ashido did it." Hizashi interjected. "Our Shouta actually cares about his students enough to keep his hair pinned up."
Aizawa sent a glare at Hizashi, tilting his head as the blonde held his hands up in defense. "It's too much of a hassle to take it down."
"It looks nice on you. It doesn't even look that messy!" Hizashi exclaimed. "Really showing off that feminine face of yours!"
"Hizashi!" Aizawa hissed.
Nemuri was almost cackling next to them as she dropped her arm. "Oh, this is even better than I thought it was."
As they moved forward, there was a moment that Aizawa had a feeling in the pit of his gut. He stopped walking, turning to look around him for a moment. He shook it off, facing his friends again as they continued their walk.
