Chapter 27: Taped Conversations And the Final Verdict
Seeing it, Alex hid a nod as he quickly shifted his eyes to it and then back to him. "The manager decided to activate the camera to tape this." Shreck said nodding as he got it then gently. "That was the only way I could signal you without giving myself away to Carter, right now, but the coach taught me military sign language at the time here."
"Which the cops and FBI also use in a situation like this." he said and Jenkins nodded and Weine hid a smile at the news. 'Well my cub is highly skilled in getting this job done right now, but this should help right now in this.' he thought hiding a chuckle. "Thanks for the heads up, alright so what else if you prevented that possibility right now."
"If your classmate flipped out when you had that panic attack?" he asked him gently and he explained that to him as the steward crossed his arms as he waited for it. "Commander Jenkins, Mr..., Mr. Peterson, I know 1/10th of the manifest, they're from our town and like us are going on a 2 week vacation to Paris."
"The man with the tank, his name is Peter Taylor, he's an asthmatic needing to be on oxygen and his sister is taking care of him." he said and they nodded in shock to that. "I wasn't expecting to find out that he knew several people on the plane, so knowing this was a shocker." The stewardess said and they nodded as the chief said it.
"A tight knit town like our's, we know the personal histories of everyone in town at the moment, but the man that told you that a bit ago. Was Peter's brother-in-law, Peter lives with his sister and her fiancé, but they were going on a 2 week trip. And to see the duo's parents in Paris, their father is on a business trip." he said and they nodded in shock.
"You know these people?!" the stewardess asked and he nodded as he explained that to the quartet as Caine crossed his arms. "Yeah but my remark is I was saying I was going to suggest you run safety checks and get that tank secured. I was running a hunch, he mistook my remark for thinking I was going to their coach."
"To report him for breaking his rehab and attacked me, before you guys arrested him. As to why exactly, I just uncovered another possible theory and why he flipped out on you. And it's because he was trying to get something passed TSA, so with that." he said as he crossed his arms as he said it then at that.
"And in your eyes this could be considered illegal anyway, right now, but safety in my case. But what is one of the rules you apply on flights." he asked and the stewardess answered that one firmly. "That smoking is prohibited on any flight and smoking in the lavatory or disabling the smoke detectors is a felony.
"Because if that wasted cigarette ends up in the trash and still smoldering it could set the bathroom on fire." she said and he nodded. "Yeah exactly that's why I was trying to get that out, what if it short circuited." Alex said and she nodded. "That is why his behavior is so suspicious in your eyes right now, but look at it like this."
"Anyone consider that instead of contraband, that if that plane goes now, his attitude, his desperation to leave, it could point him as a terrorist. And he's trying to leave before the authorities get here right now?" Alex asked and they crossed their arms at that as Murnau crosed his arms and Carter saw the looks then.
And they saw a look of sinking fear in his eyes. "Yeah, he wasn't expecting you to turn this around that quickly or that his reaction. His reaction only looked criminal to us in the long run." Jenkins said sternly and Weine nodded in agreement. "And he attacked you, because you tried to warn us it could." Murnau said and he nodded firmly to that.
"Commander Jenkins, I never did a thing for him to attack me like that, but our chemistry teacher is his football coach and my best friend's brother. He turned him for a health vio, before the homecoming game, and he attacked him in the way he did me. But non prov." he said and the trio crossed their arms at that news.
And the boy looked between them. "Yeah he's scared we're going to catch him long before we leave and he's starting to panic." Harrison said and Jenkins nodded. "Would said violation be connected to the fact that the woman next to him. Said she found the seat drenched for some reason?" Jenkins asked and Alex nodded gently.
As he answered his question at the look on his face then sternly then. "Not just the seat, but his clothes, he dropped the bottle all over himself. And it seeped and into the leather seat, but his leg barely missed the tank. When you swung him around, but Harrison, I was going to Harrison, to get that tank secured."
"And suggest to him and the pilot we put things on hold for the same amount of time as the next flight going out." he told him and the trio nodded. "Uh huh, okay that's you, so what the hell is his problem?" he asked and Alex explained that to him as they saw Carter and knew he felt his heart start pounding at that remark gently.
"The second reason is and was he wanted to be away from the scrutiny and you messed up his plans here by getting him arrested." Harrison said as he crossed his arms as Alex arepeated that remark to them. "Two reasons, 1) he snuck alcohol onto the flight with him, and secondly is this, but he wanted to enjoy this chance at a trip."
"Without being watched by our adults and the cops, but I never did a thing to him, no threats, no warnings, no insults, nothing. He just attacked me without thinking." Alex said and the quartet nodded sternly at that news. "I would consider that suspicious at the moment." Shreck said sternly and Weine nodded in agreement to that.
"By that you mean your teachers, as they know you better then we do?" the steward said to him and he nodded as the trio and the narc hid a smile at the look of love in his eyes, then for them as he answered him. "Growing up our town is very tight knit, that we knew each other all our lives, but where being a teacher is concerned now."
"Like we get territorial with our students it goes both ways and they get possessive of us as a result." Caine said with a slight smile and the duo nodded to that as they hid a smile as he said it. "Yeah what the coach, and possibly Mrs. Hanson, Terry and Jenny, told you was true, all of it." he said and the trio nodded to him gently at that news.
"So that was an unprovoked attacked, you said you were removing yourself, and he got up anyway and punched you, before I arrested him." the co pilot said as he crossed his arms. "An unprovoked attack is considered guilty enough, but you never said you were reporting him to Eric, you were coming to us to talk safety scans."
"But he got up at the same time you did and punched you in the face." the pilot said and the group nodded sternly at the news. "Yeah and in the struggle he could have destroyed the plane anyway. But anyone of two dozen possibilities could have caused it." Alex told them and they nodded sternly as the steward said it firmly at that
"Them and us, but assault and battery and drinking is illegal, if you never provoked him, just why the hell did he attack you right now. You need another reason for us to suspect you, young man, that behavior is not tolerated, by us or the cops right now." Weine said emphatically and Carter swallowed hard at the stern tone in his voice then at that.
"You mean my partner and me with us being very close to cops in this case and there were standard checks in the TSA on carry on luggage?" the female guard asked him gently and he nodded to her. "And risking getting arrested to check the damn thing out, is also understandable too." the male guard said sternly to that remark then.
"Yeah that's just what I'm saying, he's got a slight DWI record with your counterparts and he's in rehab." Alex told them and they nodded sternly. "So he keeps breaking his rehab to get a stiff drink right now, damn it kid. Just how many times do we got to arrest you, exactly?" Shreck said sternly as he heard her response to that.
"If he has, he never wanted me to search his luggage." Lewton said that sternly as Murnau gave a nod. "Them or us, if he was in rehab, as we find the evidence needed to put him in the hospital, if he's coming down off the latest dose right now. Though he is and it's getting caught by us next." Weine said sternly at the remark then as he heard it.
"You think he brought contraband with him, when we all agreed with Derek that he was never getting anything that resembled alcohol. And he lashed out, when Todd and I tried to get you to calm down?" Murnau asked and Alex nodded to him. "Oh get ready for this next scene, as by one reaction right now, he blew his case."
"But not only was he ticked, he was practically seeing red right now, but the guard called four more members if their team just as he tried to attack me a third time." he said and they nodded. "Yeah I do, but I'm thinking straight, but he's seeing red, he's so furious right now." he said to him, as Carter looked at him in a drunken rage then.
"You did this to make sure I get my carry on checked, didn't you?!" he snapped as he lunged at him and the guard grabbed his shoulder. "Whoa alright hold it right there, if you wanted to blow your chance at not being seen as the prime suspect, you just did it now, now cool down now." Weine said sternly and they nodded in agreement to that remark sternly as the officer next to him said it sternly at that.
"Yeah this kid had too much to drink he needs to be in the hospital, well like I said, he's pushed us and pushed us and now time is up here now." Shreck said and Weine nodded in agreement to that remark. "Whoa young man, calm down unless you want us to arrest you right now." the officer said sternly to that response. "Carter, stop now, young man!" Murnau shouted sternly over his outburst then.
As the boy lunged at him. "Hold him!" Lewton snapped and they nodded. "If we arrived at the time this happens and he's screwed." Weine said and they nodded and as three other security guards arrived and grabbed him as he struggled to break free. "That's enough, Carter, calm down now." Murnau said sternly as Alex ran a hand through his hair as Carter tried to get out of the trio's grip then and they all nodded sternly then.
"Baby get back!" the guard said quickly and he quickly dodged the swing then and as he quickly leaned back and Clear wrapped both arms around him then. "God once tonight is enough, that's not a provocation you never did anything, he lost it of his own accord here." she said and he nodded as he leaned into her at that. "Alright that's enough Carter, calm down now!" Caine shouted again as he gripped his upper arms.
as the quartet held him in his seat as he continued trying to get free. "We need anymore evidence, public intoxication, he's taken in enough that he's hallucinating right now." Billy said and the trio nodded. "Said hallucination caused him to revert back to when he attacked George in the locker room right now. But Alex's just broke a bit ago, withdrawal and rebound, Coach." Terri said and Alex nodded to that.
"Yeah that's what I thought right now, he's seeing George in my place, Coach, he's convinced that George, I, just turned him in. He's hallucinating, from the effects, he did it again!" Alex said and they nodded sharply to the news then. "Did it again, six months between reactions, he's speedballing!" Billy snapped and the trio nodded sternly then.
"Damn it, he's having another speedball effect to whatever it was he mixed with this crap, and attacked Alex, because he just reverted back six months. And to when George turned him into you, Eric!" Lewton snapped as the two male teachers nodded with a furious look at the remark then as their coach said it sharply to that news.
"Great that's just what I needed right now, he's drunk and possibly speedballing again tonight, Alex never provoked him, he's suffering a reaction to this crap again." Caine said and they nodded, as the guards held him in his chair then as Murnau injected a firm, but stern tone into his voice, as he tried to lock gazes with the boy as he said it then.
"Young man calm down, before we have the paramedics get here." Murnau said and Lewton nodded as she looked at the receptionist, who nodded. "Yeah the paramedics the cops and us with them." Shreck said to that and he nodded as she grabbed the phone to get ready to call the fire department and the paramedics. "Calm down Carter, I'm not saying it again Carter." Murnau said as he said it slowly, but clearly as he said it then.
"That's enough, Carter, calm down now." Murnau said sternly as Alex ran a hand through his hair and they nodded. "God my head." he said as whatever he got dosed with gave out then finally and the group nodded, exchanging concerned looks. "Son you okay?" Caine asked and when he got no answer from him, Lewton repeated the question at that.
As she pressed her forehead to his then and he closed his eyes and buried his head into her shoulder then and she wrapped her arms around him in response then. "Whatever they drugged him with just caved and drained the rest of his strength with it right now." she said to her counterpart and he nodded as she said it for both them at that gently.
"Massive headache, as whatever was in that drink is wearing off, but yeah I'm okay, but there it is. There you go, but that did it, he just destroyed his case right now, in your eyes and with that remark." he said and the quintet nodded. "Yeah there is no getting passed it right now, as soon as you calmed down you're acting like yourself again, he's looking like he's drunk, stoned."
"Or doing both at once." Weine said to that remark and Shreck nodded in agreement. "Yeah that did it, if he wasn't the saboteur would he have tried to attack you. Or is trying to get out of our grip right now, when you're completely calm." the secondary male guard said and they nodded. "That just blew his case alright, he's our prime suspect right now, if you were trying to tell us to check the plane."
And before we left, and that's enough young man settle down now, before I call the cops here next." The co pilot snapped sternly and he swallowed as he calmed down at that and Weine nodded carefully. "Hearing from Todd that he just did again, and this time with you was enough to annoy me, but hearing that he drugged you this time, it was enough to tick us all off." Goldberg said and he nodded to the news.
"Too late, right after the call went through, the police department, our agency and the fire department decided we were watching this. And for ourselves right now, based on what Dave's intel on you was enough to prove it that you were innocent. So we know that though you had the vision, your behavior doesn't say terrorist. But his does as he got arrested for acting like a criminal, which as it turns out that he is right now too."
"If his record has him in for vandalism, starting a riot or two, drinking and driving and several assault and battery cases one connected to speed-balling with the alcohol. Which only cements my theory that this was connected to drugs at the current moment." he said and Shreck and Alex nodded in agreement to his opinion at the remark then gently.
"So the airport called you, and you decided to test it out as all three of you arrived so you could see it in action?" Alex said and he nodded to him. "Yes, hearing you had a premonition of the plane exploding in the take off, that got our attention. As we decided to see that you were right, as we saw where the wreckage crash landed earlier as well."
"Before we came to check on you and saw you surrounded by the quartet and Val Lewton, as well as Todd's brother. But seeing Ryan talk to Carter Horton like that, that made it clear he was possibly the suspect as you told us he did this repeatedly." Shreck said to him and he nodded as Shreck stuck close in case he collapsed on them then.
"You need anymore evidence, look at me and then look at him right now?" Alex asked and they and the receptionist nodded in agreement. "No I don't need anymore evidence if the exchange between you was the reason we suspected you. If we turn this into a movie right now, you're completely relaxed, but him now, uh uh, he blew it."
"But I know you, you would never do this, you're not the type." The chief said gently as he looked at him then. "He's pissed that his temper got him kicked off the plane, but you're acting beyond rational at the moment. So yes we don't need anymore evidence where this is concerned." The steward said and the boy paled at that news.
"I'm okay, I'm okay now, guys." Alex said to Todd, Murnau and Lewton and they relaxed as she left her hand on his shoulder then. "It doesn't have to do with Carter, but something else right now." he said, keeping his gaze locked with Murnau then. "So not Carter Horton, but the first of what could be many premonitions now here."
"Though that's true and the situation is just starting right now, but with school almost over things are just starting at the moment." Shreck said with a sigh at that remark as he listened to the conversation carefully then. "Alright kid, what is this about that you needed to tell us?" the stewardess asked for the trio and the duo nodded gently.
"Yes and I agree with her right now, was that your idea of joke or a warning that whatever happened if we left now the results are it would be destroyed?" the steward asked and he sighed. "Not a sadistic joke, I meant it as a warning, whatever that was, and you know dreams that having you waking up."
"And drenched in sweat here right now, well dream or premonition, I don't know. But what I do know is if you never raised the alarm, to get the 7 of us off the plane. And before I forestalled his leaving with you and Billy Hitchcock with him, then it would explode directly over the lake." he said to him at that gently.
As they nodded in shock at the more coherant warning that came with the outburst then. "You meant that before we launched we had to check everything, because something on the plane was short circuiting. Before the oxygen tank exploded and with it, the blast blew the fuel tank?" the co-pilot asked and he nodded to him.
"Yeah before he freaked out and then hit me, but I was intending on checking if there was a problem as to why exactly. Something my best friend's brother told me suddenly became clear, but that's what I just saw. I'm not repeating his exact remark, but he just jinxed us and everyone on the flight you can put me."
"Us, on the next flight out, that's fine, but you needed to know this, before something happens as you're leaving." he said and the co-pilot nodded. "Nice way of putting it to us, that was taken far more seriously then a normal soldier. And like you, Jackson was right all along, once he cooled down." Weine said and the chief nodded then.
"All movies have some basis of truth to them, but the one survivor of the original movie saw what the parents never did. And until it killed the trio and her mother, well that's this now, you leave and in the middle of the take off. And right over the airport and those engines are going to blow."
"And take the oxygen and fuel tank with it, something in the plane. Something is not working and there was a short in something in the circuitry, combining it with the gas and the oxygen tank so chemistry caused the explosion. But you needed to know this, and before you left, but there were two possibilities."
"One is the fuel tank has a puncture or a short circuit." he said and the trio nodded as that made it more clear. "Out of the two of you, the one who is acting like an agent trying to crack it and before the plane explodes. And with us on it is you kid, but if you're right then it's worth looking into, right now in this case."
"But first I need more information before I tell my boss we're on a three hour delay." The co pilot said and he sighed in relief as he started to answer him, before he could Todd said it with a bemused smile. "Been on a lot of planes that blew up?" he asked and Lewton hid a smile as she realized he was saying this and just to cool it down.
To bring the tension down as she answered that. "He must have fallen asleep after we boarded." she said, but, at that, Carter started taunting him then. "This was where I chose not to take the bait." Alex said and they nodded. "Whoa, we miss this flight, we blow what: a half a day in Paris, all because Browning has a bad fuckin dream."
"Oh wait, but the plane is going to blow up, it's going to blow up." he said and his best friend said it. "Hey fuck you Horton, fuck you." he said and Lewton said it with a warning tone then. "Todd." she said as Alex closed his eyes to control his anger. "Nice touch by counting to 20 at the moment." Weine said and the doctor nodded sternly.
"Well that helps that Todd was doing your talking for you at the moment, as you focus on my co-captain at the moment. But there is no going back, his try to get our scrutiny off him and back on you backfired big time." Harrison said sternly and Weine nodded. "So trying to get our scrutiny at the fact he's drunk and dangerous at the moment."
"Did he honestly expect us not to arrest him after he tried to attack you, for his delusion of you decided to get us when you weren't doing that. And instead were coming to me and Luke so we can get that tank secured and with it right now. Checking the plane for shorts or holes in the engine fuel tank line." the pilot said and they nodded sternly then.
"There is no use fighting us, you're not taking our focus off of you, young man, as you attacked him for no damn reason, in a drunken rage. He did nothing to you to attack him for, you're stuck under scrutiny no matter what you tell me, or the duo." Weine said sternly as he watched it carefully then as he watched his young protege gently.
And as he refocused and kept his eyes on the quintet surrounding him then. "You're lucky we're surrounded by the security and four other adult men, Horton. And it's because try it and the only place you're going is to the fucking hospital right now." Todd added to that and he snapped at him, but Alex ended the fight at that.
As he said it to the sextet. "So that's the playback if they turned this into a movie, as the next exchange has us suspecting you instead of him right now. As you made the best choice and saved everyone on the plane." Weine said and he nodded. "You're paying for my trip, Browning." he snapped and he shook his head sternly to that remark.
"Guess again kid, you did this to yourself, as a result, you have us suspecting you instead of Alex right now." Shreck said sternly watching the image as he and the chief crossed their arms at that as they heard that remark repeated by Alex and hid a smile then. "Don't even think about it right now, make a move and you're getting taken right now." Caine said, saying his thoughts aloud then, before he heard Alex say it to him.
And hid a smile to what he was really doing. "Blame me all you want right now, Carter, but that attitude is having them seeing you. And as the dangerous one, but pay attention to your wording, if you weren't drunk right now and we had this conversation in another way a month ago. Think about it, our characters, who am I in the eyes of every adult in town."
"And then look at you?" he said and the quartet of teachers smiled as they realized what he was doing then gently. "You're the narrator, he's the Soc that ended up dead, and we all see you like this, that to us, we don't need anymore evidence. But I see where this conversation is headed, but was this really necessary, I mean seriously cub." Goldberg said as he started laughing at that remark and Weine nodded to that.
"Listen to your words Carter, look at what this looks like to every adult in our year, every adult, they all see me in one way. My gang are the ones that are well liked, but things are reversed, you are a disgrace to society. Because of the drinking, but think about it, why would Terri be so pissed of when you attacked me, why would Todd say that to you."
"Re-arrange the words, Todd, Billy and I, and you and Parker, Terri, she and I are talking, we see you coming and then comes a certain fight next. As she lets you have it for sneaking alcohol into the movie, before Parker lashes out. And Todd takes charge, ring a bell." he said and she said it sharply as she realized what he was doing by saying that.
"A little, you call reeling and passing out in the streets a little, I told you before, I am never going out with you when you're drinking and I mean it." she snapped, as she leaned against Alex and and Todd finished that remark sternly. As he crossed his arms then at that he said it with a dangerously stern warning tone in his voice then.
"Who are you calling bums, pal." he said sharply and Alex ended it at that. "If you were thinking straight you would realize our fight is a reference to a certain book. That we're working on for the last month, before the finals and the quartet know what I mean. As do the adult quartet and as do the guards, you bonehead, so to repeat that remark now."
"Try it and the only trip you're taking is straight to the hospital, but if you want to go at it, try it, come on let's go at it right now." he said and the adults exchanged looks then, as Terri Cheney, Billy and Tod exchanged looks at that. And as they waited for the next remark as the new arrival closed his eyes at this as he tried to hold it in at that remark..
As Murnau closed his eyes as he tried to keep from laughing then. "Once he did that, I got what he was saying but he's the narrator, with being surrounded by us and everyone in the room. Ignore the barb and go to reverse psychology, someone just tried to set him up. And he turned it around so fast, that the finger is being pointed at Carter's gang." Caine said to that remark as he crossed his arms at the reference then.
"I'm just saying Val's thoughts out loud here 'Oh my god, Alex, is that remark really necessary right now, I get it baby, but you don't have to over do it in that.'." the guard said as she tried to keep from laughing. "Billy's thoughts were 'Yeah I get what he's saying, he's the narrator, Todd is Emilio, I get it right now, man.'." Alex said to that as he exchanged smiles with her, Clear and Murnau and they nodded in agreement
"But you want to go at it right now, try it come on, make a move right now and you got them on your head. As they see you as the dangerous one, and I'm straight right now, look at them, you jerk?" he said and he looked at the 10 who had stern looks on their faces and realized he was right as Alex looked between them, as he switched it then.
"Ignore him and thank you man for you doing my talking for me, but we don't have time for a vocal spat or fist fight right now. And not when the flight leaves in 20 minutes right now, now can it already guys, that's enough of that." Alex said and the three teachers sighed in relief at his response to the attempted baiting the other boy was attempting.
'There, that is just what I want to hear from you son, nice work.' the two teachers thought together at his response, as Caine said it out loud at that remark as they exchanged smiles he resisted it. "We needed anymore reason to know he was not the prime suspect, that was it right now. Nice try buster, but you're not getting out of this." the co pilot said to that mental thought then.
"Nice thinking man, but technically my personality is Johnny." Billy told him and he nodded gently. "Return it to our last good memory in her class as we did this play, but then why wouldn't you be a friend right now. You and I share a love for that time frame in music, books and so on." he said and Billy smiled and patted him on the shoulder.
"Book metaphors, my character is the narrator himself, our class did a play version to this book a month ago. And he doesn't realize his behavior sounds familiar to every teacher in the room." Alex said and the quintet smiled sternly at the explanation then. "He's Sheldon when he attacked the narrator?" the steward said and he nodded gently.
"Exactly, Todd is playing Emilio when he made that threat to him, so re-arrange the wording into what was in the book right now. My remark to him just now, translates to, in your wording, as what, as you grew up in the time this book was published." he said and the guards, and the quartet nodded as they got it then as he answered him gently.
"Try it, come on, let's go at it now' but try that and we take him down anyway." the co pilot said, translating the remark. "Yep and he's too drunk to realize it, but Terri sees this the way Cherry did, she's never going out with him when he's drinking. As this reached the limit in her eyes right now." he said and Clear and Terri leaned into his side at the remark.
"Nice touch in explanations and you read my thoughts here, I told him before that I am never out going with him when he's drinking and I mean it. But I liked you from the start, the way we talked, you would do anything for me if you thought you could." she said and he pressed his forehead to hers and she hugged him tightly at that in response.
"Yeah and you girls are my entire life, I would do anything to make you happy now." he said softly and she smiled at his as she wrapped her arm around his shoulders then. As the other girl sat next to him and Billy and his best friend exchanged smiles then. "My thoughts on this when you said that were 'Diamond in the rough, this kid is beyond good.'." the female guard said gently at that and at his attitude.
"Well that just made it clear that the one who is acting rational here and is acting and sounding more then rational by the minute here. Said is you rather then your classmate if you're a bookworm, he's acting like jerk and brat. So what would you compare this to at the moment, if you knew you had to tell us." the steward said, crossing his arms sternly.
"And before we left now, with your class and teacher on board." The co-pilot said to him then gently. "Are you guys always like this with each other?" the female guard asked bemused and they nodded. "Case catch in cliches, we're braniacs in class, my brother is a football player, but he's great in class, but he hates us as we're going to college."
"And on just our SAT's, he trying to get an athletic scholarship, but he keeps getting busted and his birthday is in 3 months. Of the two of us, I'm the closest thing to a brother Alex has, but George and I are his best friends." Todd told her and she nodded. "But this is Carter when he's close to getting arrested for DUI." Alex finished and they nodded.
"Keep it going with the rest of the conversation after you got the rest of us off the plane, as I wasn't paying attention to your conversation with Val Lewton. As I was running triage through everyone in the manifest to check for injuries. And before Larry called me over at the time." The doctor said and he nodded to the remark then gently sighing then as he and Caine exchanged annoyed looks at this situation then gently.
"You alright now, if whatever you just saw was traumatizing enough to have you looking like the kids on the movie?" the guard asked and he nodded. "Yeah I'm fine, but it feels like someone drugged me with acid or something, I got a massive headache. But I know this sounds strange, or crazy, but if I just developed a new ability now here finally."
"But I got no ill feelings with another peer or anything either, so with that in mind right now with his loss of temper, it's he's furious I got him kicked off the plane. But that doesn't matter, saving the other passengers was and is." he said and the man nodded. "You had to tell me this, with the fact your class is on board right now, why exactly."
"So we can check the engines or circuitry?" the man asked and he nodded to him. "Yes that's it exactly, next to us 6, we had a group of close to 40 students now. For the annual trip to Europe at the moment, but I have 5 friends on that plane. In addition the trio here, is also my biology teacher, as a result, if you needed any reason now."
"To check the plane before departure, it was the fact that there could be a leak in the fuel tank, though there is, it's a bomb waiting to go off. Or it's some other problem, but if there is, and you leave and you're barely out of town, before the damn thing explodes. Listen, I'm part of the aviation mechanics club at my high school, I studied engines."
"And I was planning on being an engineer when I took this next year off, but if there was something wrong with the engines or the circuits, I had to let you know, before you left." he said and they nodded to the news. "Thanks for the warning, as for your group, with your peer getting into a fight with me, I'm standing by my decision of you six."
"I'm not changing my mind, young man." he said and Lewton nodded to his decision, before he could answer him then the other boy tried to get out of his seat. "What's his problem exactly if he's pissed you got him off the plane before we left?" The stewardess asked and he sighed as he answered her question as Lewton crossed her arms sternly.
"He tried to sneak some alcohol passed our teachers and he wasn't even supposed to be drinking in the first place." he told her and they nodded. "If this is you when rational, then he's pissed that you're thinking straight enough to explain this to us. As our scrutiny turns itself right back to him again?" the second guard said to that news sternly at that.
"What you find on this kid if he got arrested by you?" The co pilot asked him and he passed him the canteen. "He's drunk, but going by what their teachers told us, he was supposed to be in rehab all this time. But that was why he attacked him when you restrained him and dragged him out here." the female guard said to him and he nodded.
"Issues with the rehab patients, just consider this under a psyche watch and he wants out from under it right now." Lewton told the guards and co pilot and they both nodded as he said it sternly to that. "Keep it up and instead of Paris, you're going to the hospital if you're on drugs too, young man." he added and Terri gave a quick 'go ahead' wave.
To Alex then and he nodded and answered him then. "We're, his girlfriend and I, are not asking you to, but listen to me, there could be a problem. And with the engines, but that's what I had to talk to you about. Do you make it a habit to run safety checks before allowing pasengers to board?" he asked and the duo both nodded to him gently at that.
"What I just saw could mean the case of preventing you from being killed in the take off, but before now this never happened before. But what I just saw started with the conversation between me and my classmate, before this broke off of my tray table." he said and passed him the latch and his eyes narrowed at the remark, as she said it then.
"What are you saying?" Lewton asked and he ran his hand through his hair. "You ever heard of a person being able to see the future?" he asked and she shook her head. "Like the girl that played Tina, just before she was killed by Krueger on the movie. Well that just happened to me, I just saw what happened." he said and they nodded in shock.
"That was the reason for that outburst, calm before the storm?" Murnau asked and he nodded to him. "God, you look like you're burning up honey!" the stewardess said, looking him over carefully. "I'm not on drugs, and I don't drink, my first thought was someone dumped acid in my cup of O.J.." he said and they nodded sternly at that news.
"Acid or some other narcotic, or just tanked it with alcohol, but you don't drink and with us learning to drive that could get you killed." Todd said to that remark. "Broken movie rules by any chance?" the girl next to him asked and he nodded. "Horror movies, our genre just got picked for us guys." Billy said with a bemused tone to that.
"Yeah exactly and she's right, so who are we missing if we were movie number three at the moment?" Alex asked and she nodded. "I took Wasson's position of being the reasonable psychiatrist, but this keeps up and we got a problem. I don't believe this, but I never considered there was a possibility that the reaper turned himself into Englund."
"As he's hunting us down one by one at the moment." Murnau said to that with a bemused tone at his remark. "Krueger just made a comeback in the fact you dealt with that catch." Billy added to that remark. "Yeah and the smart ass of their trio got himself killed for never taking her warning seriously." Alex added and he nodded gently.
"Female version of Arquette, is that the position you just took, as unlike Langenkamp, she would take Arquette's warning seriously as would Wasson. As they put it to the test and before the bastard got the drop on them, so we do the same, test your theory. And by getting everyone off the plane." Terri asked and he nodded to her gently at that.
"Not sure, but we take a chance, test it out, we set it on autopilot and launch it, after we get everyone off the plane. Yeah I agree with Terri right now, that we should take the chance if this means we save everyone on the plane. We can miss a half a day in Paris just to double check." Lewton said and Murmau nodded in agreement to her thoughts.
"The bonehead, which is why Billy keeps calling him by that other name, he's your basic dumbass jock who never pays attention in class. But Clear took my side every time and we started growing closer though we never said a word to each other in class until now. We both thought this, but he should have been put in rehab by this point, but here it is."
"He's been like this since he got his drivers license, as the act of buying alcohol comes into it with it. Until George saw what it was he was trying to hide and found this in his locker, until he warned him get rid or it, he's telling the coach, but that did it in the locker room." he said to the guards passing the bottle of stimulates to them and they nodded.
"I take it he got arrested by your coach after attacking him?" she asked and they nodded to him. "He's been suspended from the team for 1 month, but we're 3 months ahead here, but he's hoping to get chosen by the Jets or just get into U.C.L.A.. But as a result now, he's sick of being watched our chemistry teacher, and the duo here right now."
"In waiting for an outburst to happen in class, this has gone on for six months since the health violation right now and I guess right now, honestly. That he wanted their attention off himself and on someone else for once right now. Unfortunately I wind up being the said target, but I'm thinking a heck of a lot more rationally now that I told you that."
"Though why I'm not entirely sure now exactly." he said and Clear crouched in front of him, pressing her forehead to his forehead, he closed his eyes. "Ms. Lewton, I got him now, but at the moment Sir, everything he told you is true where Carter is concerned. He never knows when to quit and Billy, George, Todd and I saw this like Alex has now."
"But his father is on his case, our teachers, their coach, he's been arrested 3 times in 3 years for drinking and his B.A.C. levels are so dangerous he's ended up in the tank. As a result I guess to get their attention off him for once, someone in his clique. Chose the good student on the honor roll as the perfect scapegoat." she said in disgust then sternly and the group nodded.
"Why would they do that?" the steward asked and he nodded to the boy who was looking at him with a death glare. "To get their attention off him and on me for once, but Carter there, he was suspended for speed-balling, my best friend's brother. He turned him into our chemistry teacher who is also their coach now." he said and the two guards nodded.
As they looked at Carter Horton, and gave a nod as the teachers crossed their arms as the second guard rested her hand on the boy's shoulder. "That why he laid into you, because he was trying to get the liquor passed us?" she asked and he nodded to her. "He's been on rehab for three months since the season ended at the moment here."
"But had a reaction six weeks ago and crashed, collapsed at the wheel of his car and crashed into a light pole on campus but that did it. As every adult: from his parents to our teachers who the cops decided he was never touching a glass of alcohol. And until he was of age to." Alex said and she finished that remark as she said it then firmly.
"But every time he tries he tries to get a taste of alcohol, the adults are always catching him, he hasn't had a drink in 6 months now. As our adults are preventing it, but that maybe why he freaked out, he snuck something in." Clear and he nodded to that as the two teachers hid a smile to the tone of love in her voice with them gently.
"Yeah she's right, but whatever I saw, she decided she wasn't taking chances and left with me, but as for Carter, the reason he's acting like a jerk all the time. Well it's because he's still in rehab and they're waiting for him to suffer a relapse and reason 2) is. And was it's because his father said you find any and he's staying here right now for the trip."
"He gave Mr. Murnau and the coach direct orders, find it, confiscate it, and hold him until he's sober." Alex told her and she nodded sternly at that, as he waved the girl over and she nodded as she rested her hand on his shoulder and the three teachers hid a smile. "Well I know that look on his face towards you and Clear, but 'Whatever this started between them, we need to keep an eye on it now here.'
"'He may not have said it, but it's clear to me how much she likes him.'." Caine said smiling gently at the remark then. "Rob, Derek you got the kid there, I'll take Alex, he's calming down, I can handle him." she said and the man nodded sternly as her partner said it with a warning tone. "Don't try it young man." he said and with a warning tone to the boy at that.
"Carter stand down now, young man, I get you're furious, that we're going to lose a few hours in delay, but start a fight. And you're the one getting arrested, if you're drunk here, or you were drinking, before you arrived at the airport. And you know what you just did is illegal too." Murnau said sternly to him and he nodded as he tried to control himself.
"I take it he got arrested once too often for this?" The guard asked and he nodded. "The football season is over and George, Todd's twin is his team mate. But he reported him for a case of speedballing, I'm their: Alex, Todd and George's favorite teacher. I'm head of the aviation science club." he said and the quartet nodded as he finished gently then.
"Look I get that this sounds insane to you right now, but what if I'm not wrong, you got enough on these guys to have them expelled for this, but me. I'm right and it does and these guys destroyed my life in one swoop now. We can run that test now and we can leave at the new time." Alex said and the trio nodded as the quartet exchanged looks.
"Think about it, the movies they never took the warning from the seer seriously til it comes back to haunt them right now. As the lunatic takes them by surprise and starts killing them all one by one, but we get the drop on this lunatic. Whoever it is, we save our town members and the members not from our town and in one shot right now here."
"As the culprits he tried to use get arrested and we can just deal with the fall out, though we got bunch of military officers on that plane they are not going to take it well. These guys tried to set someone up to get out of scrutiny by the faculty and the town precinct." Billy said and the trio, Terri, Todd and Clear River nodded in agreement then.
"Coach, Sir, he's right, we do this and we can rest easy in the fact we saved everyone on the plane, half a day lost is worth this right now." Clear told them and Lewton nodded in agreement. "Yes I agree with them right now, we take that chance, half a day lost is worth this test right now." she said and the man nodded as he answered that gently.
"Yeah I agree with them right now, and if there is secondary situation to this and I come back into it right now, I can explain this as to everyone. And as I was here for the whole thing, as their new mentors, the cop involved and I get reunited with your grouping. But their choice could save me and their counterparts, it's worth the time in checking it."
"If I'm her replacement at the high school and another substitute teacher takes my place as I transfer to your high school, he gets it now. But we see each other again right now, before we tear up the old tickets and get new seats. And with whoever the secondary flight going out is combined with ours." the teacher said and their coach finished it then.
"Look I know this sounds strange, but my student is the best at chemistry an aviation engineering, we should test it out, but wrong. And things go as planned I can deal with my players myself, but right and they got more then my wrath for this." Caine said and the co pilot nodded as that did it as he looked at the boy then gently at that.
"Alright we go with your idea, you okay now son?" he asked and Alex nodded. "I'm drained, but otherwise I'm fine, but Uncle Patrick and Uncle Damian. They are going to kill these guys for drugging me, and a case of reckless endangerment." he said and every adult in hearing of the conversation nodded in agreement as he lifted the radio then.
"Adam, unload the plane we're running on the new time with the next flight going out, but we're running a flight test on that engine. So all passengers, all luggage off the plane, one row at a time, people, repeat, one row at a time. Patrick, your nephew brought this to our attention right now." he said and they heard a confirmation.
As they got to work as Alex relaxed, hoping he was right and that premonition was not a bad dream. "Carter I'm warning you, if he's right and you did something, what we do is mere child's play. Compared to what the cops, your parents and the authorities do for what you and your gang pulled." Caine said, with a stern look then and he swallowed.
"Alright jump it it to when you realized you were right at the moment, because I was dealing with everything here and contacting the duo, before we had another flip out at the moment right now." the doctor said and they both nodded in agreement. "And again, whatever you did is getting in trouble and I mean all of you in that right now." Weine said and the quartet swallowed hard at the remark as they did it then.
The Flight Test-Two Hours later:
After an hour unloading and they settled in as Alex checked a group of kids then as he moved to the woman with the baby as they prepared for it. As each set of adults nodded to him, as he moved to the window as they waited. And as his uncle, Patrick Harrison, came running out of the tunel then as he moved to him at that as he said it to him.
"Alex was this what you were going to tell me right now, that we had to secure Peter's tank and we should run tests, because if it is. Then you just saved us all in one shot, though these guys are in deep trouble if you are right at the moment." he said and Alex nodded to him. "It is Uncle Patrick." he said and the man nodded to that firmly then.
"Here we go, I set the autopilot here, so we're good to go right now." the pilot said and he nodded, as they moved to the window with Lewton standing next to them. And as the girls were standing on both sides of him, without needing to look away from the window. He could feel Carter Horton and his gang's death glares aimed at him as he said it.
As Weine left his hand on his shoulder and Alex smiled gently at that, knowing the man chose him as his young recruit. "Whatever you're thinking don't try it right now, because this is going to get you arrested if you try to attack him a second time right now." Shreck said as they heard a struggle break out and turned to see George Waggner dealing with one of the guys in Carter's grouping.
"Alright that's enough, break it up now!" Shreck snapped sternly and George quickly backed up as the guards grabbed the boy. "Not me, I was trying to arrest this one before he took off, they know with both of you here, they're going to be arrested either way right now." George told him and he nodded sternly. "Well whatever their problem is, we're not tolerating it right now in this case at the current moment." he said and Alex nodded in agreement to that.
"Before you say it, don't bother, you guys are stuck under scrutiny no matter what you say right now, I never started that fight, you attacked me here." Alex said as he waited for it to reach the spot that caused it and the quartet paled. "Wait a second, oh god the bottle, Carter!" one of them said and he paled at the remark and the adults nodded then.
"Bottle?!" one of the soldier repeated and Alex nodded. "Oh nice work you guys, you wanted to get away with this, you should have kept your mouths shut." Alex said sharply and that got the group's attention. "Question: would you consider a bottle of straight alcohol as a fuse in an improvised bomb?" Alex asked and the soldiers all nodded then.
"Yeah and why exactly?" the second soldier asked him. "The IED fuse, they forgot to remove the bottle when they came off of the plane, but that bottle. It just tipped over and shattered against the metal latch, Coach. But they just created a possible IED here now, major." Alex said, over hearing that remark and they nodded sternly to the news.
"That was a liquor bottle that he meant, but they were sneaking contraband into the flight, he was hoping to distract you long enough. And to get your attention off them, but they never saw what I saw, but they drugged me, it's the metaphor with Hathor. After I humiliated them one too many times." he told him and the quintet crossed their arms.
"You got the skills to be our top student in the Air Force if you understand us this easily, who's your tutor exactly?" the first soldier asked him and he smiled at him. "My chemistry teacher actually, he was teaching me enough, but my SAT's. They are enough to get me noticed by you as you're the smartest branch in the military here right now."
"My expertise is in chemistry and what cross chemicals in explosives do, but the coach would have suggested me to the general in Colorado anyway or right to the FBI. But these guys are sick of being ignored and stuck under psyche when you focus on intellect. Rather then athletics." he said and the man looked at the quintet sternly at the news.
"The sarcophagus and the fact he possibly ended up in an POW?!" the doctor snapped and he nodded to him. "They were hoping that by setting me up, no one would listen to me, because they drugged me." he said and the two teams nodded to him gently. "They're sick of being under psyche?" the soldier asked, crossing his arms then firmly.
"Your branch is the one that ran Area 51, so what does this look like to you if I was 16 years older and I humiliated them one too many times. And in front of the joint chiefs and the base commander?" he asked and the five soldiers nodded as the leader said it. "You're Jackson and they're sick of the fact you're bringing in results and always right."
"They're also sick of being under psyche, that they try to get our attention off themselves and on you, but that remark he just said, that just screwed it up big time, kiddo. But you're right, just what makes them think we would believe them right now anyway. After they attacked you for no damn reason right now, I see a skilled soldier/scientist in you."
"But if they wanted to save their necks he wouldn't be so damn insistent right now to prevent you from checking their carry on luggage. Or kept his mouth shut when you dragged it up to the pilot, so he thinks we won't believe you huh, gambling too high. But we did and if that bomb goes now and we believe everything you say son, with that." One of Caine's team mates said as the second followed that up then.
