Third chapter after some idle time. Sorry for the delay and now I will respond to comments:
Fab144: Thank you, I understand that this story concept is unusual to say the least, but I hope to build an interesting plot.
Northstar Pokeshipper: The harem will be revealed as the story progresses. While it may seem like the main focus is on relationships, the truth is that I intend to approach the Pokémon world in a darker way. I place a high value on plot and consider the love partners of some characters to be a secondary priority. But when the harem is fully revealed, I will put the complete list in some chapter.
UltimateCCC: He sure won't forget.
Guest: I believe it's too early to imagine future actions based on a character's personality. I have barely begun to address the development of each of them. But thanks for the comment anyway.
Guest: Thanks for the compliment, it motivates me to keep going.
DGJabberwocky: As I answered in the previous comment, the harem will be revealed as the story progresses. I didn't rule out or confirm any girls.
UltimateCCC: I will go into more detail on all the information about abilities and unique characteristics of those who are considered anomalies, but it will take me a few chapters to delve into that. I'm still in what could be considered a prologue, as the actual plot hasn't even started yet.
Thank you all for the comments, and I also appreciate those who simply read without commenting. I hope I'm doing a story of acceptable quality, and forgive me for any mistakes in writing. English is not my primary language, so I will have limitations when it comes to using the English language.
Enjoy the final chapter of the prologue of Pokémon: Anomaly
It was only after a long explanation that Misty decided not to beat up Ash for bringing an unknown girl to the camp. May was strangely proud of the boy she had such an affection for, but that was to be expected of the craziest person in the group.
May and Misty finished helping Dawn with her bath, kicking Ash out of the creek, which the boy did without complaint.
His companions were terrifying.
Currently the four teenagers were in the cave, all sitting around the fire with Dawn sitting next to Ash, Pallet's boy being his only source of safety from these unknown girls.
"Let me see if I understand correctly what happened. Ash was randomly invited by a gym leader to visit Pewter's gym, and when he arrived you were the only slave responsible for handling boulders on the battlefield. Brock assaulted you and gave you to Ash as property? If we weren't talking about our little altruistic junkie, I would call him a liar." Misty put a hand to her forehead, moaning in dismay that Ash had done something on impulse again, but she couldn't get really mad, the poor kid just wanted to help someone like them, and Dawn didn't seem like someone with malicious intentions.
May looked at the girl's clothes. Dawn was wearing a white cap on her head, and she wore a white tank top with a black sleeveless one-piece outfit, with a 'V' neckline and ending in a skirt with pink accents, barely covering her ass. On her feet was a pair of pink boots with a black sock extending to her knees. Around her neck Dawn wore a pink scarf.
May grudgingly admitted that the blue-haired girl had a bigger ass than hers, even though her breasts were still the best. Her feminine pride hadn't been completely destroyed. Being curious to learn more about the new member of her group that was slowly growing, the brunette smiled provocatively.
"So…Ash bought you this outfit? She looks pretty on you, but it doesn't do much to hide her well-developed ass… Ashy I didn't know you had that perverted side, what a pleasant surprise." The brunette hummed as Ash blushed in embarrassment and Dawn shyly held her skirt.
"Don't say that May! I just wanted to help and it was the best I could get with the money you gave me." Seeing the boy genuinely sad made May feel slightly guilty, the little guy was too good for her own good. Dawn looked at Ash and surprised him with a hug.
"No need to worry, you've done more for me than anyone else and for that I'm grateful. And even though this outfit is…revealing, I loved it." Dawn again surprised him with a kiss on the cheek, causing Ash to hold where he was kissed with a goofy smile. Misty huffed in resignation as May nudged her friend with a finger.
"Look at them Misty, our Ashy has taken another victim and doesn't even know it." Misty looked at her friend and replied sarcastically.
"Why can't I be surprised by your comment? From your smile it is obvious that you are already imagining lewd scenarios." May looked away, whistling innocently, which made the redhead narrow her eyes.
"I didn't get a chance to talk much while we were in Pewter, so Dawn, tell us a little about yourself." Ash was looking at his new friend with genuine curiosity. Dawn shyly agreed.
"Well, where do I start? I was born in Twinleaf, in the Sinnoh region. My family was very rich, even when my father passed away, we were still doing very well financially. My mother gave me the best money could buy and treated me like a helpless princess, something that bothered me, but I never stopped her, after all, it was my mother. Everything changed just over 7 months ago, I was studying at home with a tutor when I felt a bad headache, and when I opened my eyes, all the math equations just solved in my mind. Everything I read was understood instantly. My mother was initially overjoyed as she apparently had a temper in the family, but the joy turned to hate."
Dawn started to cry which scared the group a little, Ash looked up with concern and saw the blue haired girl holding out her hand, looking at him as if begging for any kind of support. Even without knowing what to say, he held the girl's hand, looking at her with a serene expression.
"If you're not comfortable, you don't have to continue." Dawn shook her head in denial and continued her explanation.
"My mother took me to take a test that would measure my mental capacity, and everything seemed to be going well, until the moment I surpassed the information processing capacity of the computer used in the test. In that instant I was labeled an anomaly and my life changed permanently. My mother didn't think twice about selling me, she didn't even talk to me and gave me to the first man she saw. The look of pure contempt from the person I loved hurt me, and it all got worse when I was transported to Kanto along with other slaves. I got to Pewter and was sold to that monster called Brock, that man treated me so badly, beat me for stupid reasons and tried to make me carry huge boulders. All I have is above average intelligence, I don't have legal power like you guys. I am useless..."
Misty looked pityingly at the girl before her, being sold out by her own mother was the biggest betrayal and no one deserved to go through something like that. She and May stood up, and with a joint action the two older girls hugged the younger girl together with Ash. Dawn couldn't hold back her frustration and started crying for long minutes, finally calming down and instinctively hugged one of Ash's arms, using him as an emotional support.
"I don't have legal power, but please let me stay with you. I'll do anything, I just don't want to go back to someone else." The fear in the girl's voice touched the hearts of everyone in that cave, and Ash pulled her into a hug as she whispered in her ear.
"I will never leave you, and I'm sure Misty and May feel the same way. We are a family, a strange and unconventional family, but still we love and care for each other. Now don't cry, you look more beautiful smiling. And who cares if you can't shoot a fireball like May or shoot a water projectile like Misty? Being a genius can be an extremely powerful skill if used correctly." Dawn looked at the boy who had said those words to her and for the first time showed a genuine smile, which made Ash's heart skip a beat. She was beautiful when she smiled, being happy suited Dawn a lot more than the sad expression she'd shown him on their first date at Pewter's gym.
Dawn looked at the one who had saved her from a horrible fate, getting lost in those blue eyes. Everything she saw in Ash was beautiful in her opinion, from his physical appearance to her unique personality.
He was the kindest person she'd ever met.
The one who saved her without asking for anything in return.
He was your hero.
Her heart was pounding in her chest, all she wanted was to show her appreciation for that boy. Dawn placed her hands on Ash's cheeks and gently approached with her own face.
"What are you..." Ash was interrupted by a kiss on his lips, courtesy of Dawn, who had decided to give herself to the only man she could truly trust. Because of his experience with the other girls in his group, Ash didn't think twice and grabbed her waist, pulling her close to himself as he took the lead in the kiss.
Dawn hugged Ash's neck as she enjoyed that moment, all her fear had been abandoned along with her old life, and Ash was her new reality, something the blue haired girl wouldn't complain about. It was only because they both needed to breathe that the couple broke apart, both panting as they had their eyes locked on each other.
May looked at Misty and didn't miss the opportunity to tease. "Owwww look at them Misty, the short guy has won another girl, and a cute one." Misty smiled and nodded without saying a word, instead she walked over and gently turned Dawn's face towards hers.
"If Ash is willing to love you, then we will all love you." Dawn was still high from her kiss with Ash, and she didn't stop when Misty kissed her.
The redhead deepened the kiss, showing Dawn that she now had people who would love her for who Bluenette really was, not for her possessions or social status. Dawn returned the affection shown by Misty and hugged the redhead's neck as she continued the kiss.
May didn't want to be left out and sat on Ash's lap, the boy looked at the beautiful brunette in front of him and pulled her by the waist, violently kissing May, who moaned in approval and let her lover take the lead. Dawn and Misty broke up and they both saw Ash and May kissing. For Dawn that experience was something unbelievable because it went against everything that society preached as what was right. But as an anomaly, she learned that social norms didn't matter if society no longer considers her a human.
Ash broke away from May and still panting looked at Dawn with a smile. "We love you Dawn, and we will protect you the same way you will protect us." Misty walked over and hugged Ash while May was on her lap. Dawn went to the boy's free side and leaned in, where everyone ended up falling asleep from exhaustion that night. If anyone were to find them, they would see three girls hugging a boy, all with serene smiles on their faces.

The next few days were relatively uneventful, May and Misty made good profits robbing unsuspecting people on the streets of Pewter, they being mostly male teenagers, after all, it was easy to fool boys who saw them as a prize to be won, only for May to happily give them away. spanking every time someone got overly excited and touched her.
May wouldn't let any boy touch her, with the exception of 'Ashy'.
Dawn quickly showed her unique talent, the girl was an incomparable genius when it came to technology and any mathematical calculation.
It was surprising to see the normally shy girl get so excited putting together equipment from cell phone parts and other electronics. She was committed to showing that she could be of use to the group, and if she couldn't be strong like Ash, Misty and May, she would use her gifts to help in another way.
Looking proudly at her finished work, she started cackling like a stereotypical villain from inside the tent the group shared, which startled Ash. "Please…don't be another May…" He whispered to himself in resignation.
Unfortunately, our hero didn't take into account one small detail: May was nearby and listened to him.
The brunette growled and wrapped him in a headlock. "What did you say Ash?! What's wrong if Dawn wants to look up to me, I'm the nicest girl she'll ever meet!" Misty looked at that comical scene with a little pity for Ash, who was fighting for some air.
It didn't take long for Ash to lose consciousness and May noticed that the boy went limp in her arms. Panicking the girl of questionable sanity set him down and started running in circles around the camp.
"Misty help me, I think I killed Ashy" A bead of sweat appeared on the back of the redhead's neck and Dawn walked out of the tent, a strange electronic device in her hands. Seeing Ash unconscious on the floor made her worried.
"What happened to Ash?" Misty looked at the younger girl with a little pity, she was worried about Ash and still hadn't gotten used to May's antics.
"Don't worry, it's just May being May. You will get used to it over time." The scene of May stopping running and starting CPR on Ash left Misty and Dawn even more in disbelief at the ridiculous scene, and it got worse when Ash regained consciousness and CPR became the beginning of a kiss. May sat on Ash's waist and the boy hugged her, bringing her closer to him as they both lay on the floor.
Surely there would never be a boring day involving those two.
May's groans of satisfaction made Dawn blush at that scene, and Misty feeling sorry for the poor girl, tried to shift focus to what the bluenette was carrying in her hands. "So, Dawn, what have you been doing in the tent all this morning?"
This caught the attention of the girl, who smiled smugly as she waved that strange device that was similar to a cell phone. "This is my newest creation, the Dawn-loader." A silence took over the camp, even Ash and May sat down and looked at Dawn in disbelief.
May pointed her finger dramatically at the blue-haired girl. "That's the worst pun I've ever heard." Dawn looked at Misty who had a forced smile on her face, and even Ash looked at her with a little pity. A black cloud appeared in her head and dismay took over the bluenette.
Ash tried to lighten the girl's mood the only way he knew how, being an innocent person. "So…what is this Dawn-loader capable of?" May burst out laughing at the ridiculous name, making Dawn angry, but the expectant look on Ash's face made her puff out her chest in pride at her creation.
"Laugh all you want your crazy girl." The comment didn't offend May, she knew she was missing a few screws. "This baby is capable of cracking anything I have access to, as long as it's directly connected to a data terminal. With this I can calculate encryption codes and break access passwords to collect useful data." Absolutely no one understood what the girl had said.
"Uh...can you speak in the language of ordinary people?" Misty's direct comment made Dawn blush with embarrassment, she sometimes forgot that not everyone was as easy as her to understand certain terms.
"Basically, I can collect passwords for anything this baby is connected to." Everyone was silent until May snapped her fingers as if she had just had a 'brilliant' idea.
For some reason everyone in that camp knew something insane was coming from the brown-haired girl.
"Let's rob a bank!" Misty immediately threw a sphere of water at her friend's head.
"Have you gone crazy?! Wait, you're crazy already! How the hell are we going to rob a bank, we're four teenagers, do you think we can just walk in and rob one of the best protected places in town?" Dawn timidly raised her hand, catching the redhead's attention.
"Actually…it might be easy. Much of the money nowadays is registered in virtual currency, if I have access to the source code of the storage system, it is child's play to collect the money. And Dawn-loader is designed to process and execute data. All I would need to transfer the money would be a cell phone with internet access, I create a bank account and that's it, the money is in hand." Misty wanted in every way to argue against the girl, but the plan was surprisingly simple, with no need to use violence, just letting this strange invention do the hard work.
"But if we create a bank account, documents will need to be made available, and they will certainly track that money. The entire Kanto region would make us a target." Ash pointed out the flaw in the plan, he wanted to remain anonymous, and while the temptation to get a lot of money at once motivated him, the risks weren't worth the possible gain.
Dawn thought for a while and innocently came up with an idea. "Why don't we take someone's document and create an account? Brock's for example…" The psychotic smile on May's lips was all Misty and Ash needed to know to make sure the brunette went with Dawn's plan.
She got up and hugged the bluenette by the shoulders. "I like the way you think blue-nerd, and I know exactly how we're going to get the documents from that idiot who hurt you."
"How will we do this?" May smiled sweetly at Ash and winked at him while sticking out her tongue childishly. "A lady never tells her secrets Ashy, leave everything to May-sama."
Misty slapped her forehead as she grumbled. "Why am I sure I'm going to regret this? Whenever this crazy girl flashes her psychotic smile, we get into trouble." Ash tried to defend May, even though deep down she had the same fears as the redhead.
"Come on, May can't be that bad." Misty stared at him with a neutral expression.
"She set fire to a mall because they didn't give her a discount on a plush Torchic." The brunette immediately defended herself.
"Hey! I wanted that cute bird, and my bitch sister always bragged about having a Pokémon...I just wanted one too." Ash was curious, May never mentioned anything about her family, come to think of it, her past is a mystery.
He approached May and gently took her hand. "Can we talk privately?" May shyly nodded, something Ash immediately noticed. Shyness and May didn't usually line up, something was wrong and he was going to find out.
As the pair left camp, Dawn looked at Misty worriedly. "What happened? May got depressed the moment she mentioned her sister." Misty sighed and looked at where her friends had left. "It's complicated, but I don't have the right to comment on May's past. They are to blame for her acting crazy." Dawn looked worriedly at where Ash and May had gone, she wanted to help but just couldn't.
"I just hope Ash can help you." Misty looked at the younger girl and hugged her.
"I hope so too Dawn...I hope so too."

The pair of teenagers sat on a fallen log on the ground a few feet from the camp. May was crestfallen and tears threatened to fall from her eyes. Seeing the normally outgoing girl in such a state left Ash with sadness, as well as anger at whoever had dared to hurt her.
She hugged the girl and kissed her forehead. Even though Ash was shorter than May, he still let her tuck her face into his chest, and stroking the brunette's head, he did his best to calm her down.
"I don't want to make you tell me anything you're not comfortable with, I care about you May, but I don't want to hurt you in any way. All I ask is that you trust me because I promise never to leave you." May looked at the normally naive boy and laughed at the irony of the situation. Ash was confused and when he looked into those sapphire eyes, he was lost in the depths of them. In that moment he finally realized that he loved her. He loved May for who she was, even though she was a mentally unstable girl, she was still a genuinely kind person to trust, and that was all that really mattered to him.
May, on the other hand, saw in that boy she had barely known for a week an honesty accompanied by altruism, and knew that she could trust him with her life, even after she promised herself never to trust anyone at all, she knew that in that boy of naive face and pure heart, was someone she would gladly spend the rest of her life with.
Moved by emotion, they both kissed fiercely, letting all of May's pent up feeling, and Ash's concern, be diluted in a pure manifestation of the passion they felt for each other. May held him as if her life depended on it, and Ash did his best to comfort her in every way he could.
The intimate moment between the couple lasted several minutes, and when they parted, nothing but a serene smile was on the duo's lips. The brunette took a deep breath and decided at that moment that Ash was worthy of knowing his biggest secret in life.
Which led May Maple to fall into the arms of madness.
"My family is famous in Petalburg. My father is the most famous gym leader in Hoenn and that has made him a celebrity. I am the eldest of three siblings, one being my twin, Sapphire Maple. My younger brother is named Max Maple and my parents are named Norman and Caroline Maple. Being the children of a Gym Leader, the entire town had high expectations on the three of us. My little brother sees my father as a hero, and Sapphire loves Pokémon so much that she even took a part-time job with Professor Birch to research various Pokémon outdoors. But I was afraid of them." May started to shake and Ash hugged her. Looking grateful, she took a deep breath and continued to speak.
"Everything was perfect for me, my mom took care of me with affection, Max even teasing me at times still showed huge appreciation for me and Sapphire was someone I saw as my hero. You might not believe Ash, but I wasn't always the girl I am today. I was afraid of Pokémon, while Sapphire was natural with these creatures, and it was obvious who my father was really proud of. Gradually I was ignored, and when I turned 10 years old and refused to have my first Pokémon, that bastard hit me. Mom looked and did nothing, being the cowardly woman, she always was. Max and Sapphire weren't home, my little brother accompanied my twin to Professor Birch's lab as she was going to get her Pokémon."
Ash clenched his fists so much that blood began to drip, how can someone call themselves father or mother and attack a child simply because he doesn't want to follow in his family's footsteps? May had the right to do whatever she wanted, and no one should make her do anything she didn't want to. Seeing the girl's unfocused gaze, Ash held one of her hands for support.
May hugged Ash tighter. "I was so scared, everything I lived through was a lie. My parents didn't love me, my brothers didn't care about me, no one in our town did anything to help me, so all I wished for was for the pain to stop. And then I felt a heat in my chest, something that begged to get out, and in the blink of an eye, my anomaly awakened. That bastard backed away in fear as the bitch I once called mother looked at me in disgust. I still remember the exact words they said to me: 'Monster'. And it was at that moment Ash, at that exact moment, that I embraced the madness. This world is rotten, I had lost faith in humans and seeing my own family looking at me like I was a freak was my limit. So, I ran without any direction, afraid of what would happen to me. That same day I stole a ship to Kanto and began to live off petty theft. Not long after I met Misty, but this is a story for another time."
Ash looked at May who was holding him as if the world would disappear if he let her go, and kissed his girl's forehead. Looking at her with iron determination, for the first time in his life the innocent boy felt hatred towards someone.
"May, I promise I will always protect you. It may take as long as it takes, but your parents will pay for what they did, no one hurts my girlfriend and gets away with it." Those words made May's heart skip a beat. Even after Ash has managed to get so close to her and Misty, that little guy still considers her his girlfriend.
Trying to lighten the mood, she did what she knew best, namely tease. "Owww my Ashy is being cute to me, what will Misty and Dawn think if they hear this?" surprising the brunette, Ash decided to use a page from the girl's book and teased her.
"I don't know, maybe jealousy? But that would be funny, after all I love you three equally." Standing up, Ash held out his hand which May took with pleasure, and without a word, they started back towards the camp.
After a more serious conversation, Ash and her friends decided to go along with May's plan and virtually rob Pewter's bank, and for the first time, Ash showed them something that no one thought was compatible with the normally shy boy.
Ash was frighteningly resourceful when it came to strategizing combat. His old dream of being a Pokémon master was motivated by the desire to meet his father one day, and so the boy studied everything he could about Pokémon and battle tactics from a very early age. Which earned him a well-trained strategic mind. Ash is not a genius, far from it, but he was frighteningly astute at putting together plans of action.
The next three days were spent by the group doing four things: Gather information about Pewter's bank, plan a safe escape route, decide a way to collect Brock's documents, and define a way to store the stolen money without risking damage. be tracked.
The group split into two pairs. Ash and Dawn would be responsible for collecting the pack's data. Misty was initially against leaving the younger two with the most dangerous part, but surprisingly it was May who convinced her, saying they were the smartest of the bunch, which Misty reluctantly accepted as the truth.
The second group is Misty and May, who would be responsible for stealing Brock's documents to frame him. Another task for the duo would be to find a safe place for Ash and Dawn to collect the bank's data without being in great danger.
On the day of the plan's execution, May and Misty were in front of Pewter's gym, with May wearing her usual goofy smile and Misty doing her best not to hit her friend in public.
"Remember the plan, we went in, tricked Brock and left. Don't do anything stupid May, we have no room for error and watch out for that pervert. If what Dawn told us is true, Brock won't miss a chance to try to get into your pants." May stopped smiling and showed a rare expression of seriousness.
"Don't worry Misty, I can put up with that bastard for as long as I need to, but if he tries to do anything to me, he's going to find out the hard way I'm a hard girl to tame. And if it all goes wrong, I still have you covering me." Sighing, Misty led the way into Pewter's gym, spotting Brock battling an overly arrogant boy and several women cheering him on in the stands.
"Look at that idiot, thinking he's awesome to have some bitches cheering him on, look at those Misty girls, some are just wearing a bra instead of a shirt." The redhead nudged her elbow into May's stomach, eliciting a small groan.
"Behave yourself! Don't get unnecessary attention." Misty whispered and May pouted. Both girls turned their attention to Brock and the challenger, as the battle had come to an end, with Brock's Onix being knocked out by a Squirtle.
The gym leader approached the boy and extended his hand to greet him. "Impressive Gary, I see you live up to the Oak surname, your battle strategy was solid for a rookie trainer, you earned it and here is the Boulder Badge." The women cheering for the young coach began screaming like hysterical fans, and Gary took the badge with a cocky grin on his face.
"It wasn't too difficult, Squirtle was more than enough to defeat your two Pokémon, now come on girls, we have to pay a visit to Cerulean City, where my next badge awaits." The women stood up and followed Gary, who was proudly leaving the gym he'd just defeated.
"Children, I pity when this boy suffers his first defeat." Brock said to himself and realized that two girls were waiting for him. He approached and greeted them both with a smile on his face.
"I didn't expect visitors, do you want to challenge me? If it's a battle you're looking for, I'm afraid you'll have to wait a while for me to heal Onix and Geodude. I'm Brock, it's a pleasure to meet you." Misty and May looked at each other and the redhead introduced herself.
"Hi, I'm Misty and this is my friend May, she's a little shy but insisted on meeting this town's Gym Leader, she's your fan." Brock looked at the girl next to the redhead and blushed a little to see that it was a cute girl, who was looking at the floor with her hands clasped.
"Oh, so you're my fan? I'm not going to lie, it's surprising to hear this from such a beautiful young woman, I don't usually have people visiting me just to get to know me, but if you want, I can show you around the gym. Do you want to accompany us, Misty?"
The redhead smiled at the pair and sat down on one of the bleachers. "No, thank you. I just wanted to accompany my friend and well…I don't want to hold candles, if you know what I mean." May blushed and Brock perked up, seeing that the girl next to her apparently liked him.
Unfortunately, he was deluded, as May actually blushed, but out of anger at May putting her through this. Forcing a shy smile, May took Brock's hand and spoke to him.
"I'd love to check out the gym... would you join me, Brock?" the perpetually half-eyed young adult felt confident and hugged her around the waist as he guided May through the gym facilities.
Unbeknownst to Brock, Misty had managed to get a wallet out of her pocket with the documents, and a devilish smile crept across the redhead's face.
That pervert would get what he deserves.
Meanwhile, Brock took May to his room, and the brunette pretended to be innocent, accompanying him. As they walked in, Brock started to get bold and squeezed her ass.
This was the limit for May, no one but Ash and her friends had the right to do that. Suddenly the temperature in the room rose, and flames flared in May's arms, making Brock's eyes widen and recoil in fear.
"You are an anomaly! Get out of my gym you monster!" The man's pleas were useless as May was even more excited to teach the pervert a lesson he would never forget.
"You were a very bad boy Brock, hurting Dawn, trying to take advantage of me, enslaving people who didn't ask to be born with unique abilities…you're the kind of human I hate the most, the one who pretends to be a good guy take advantage of the naive." The heat rose and Brock swallowed hard in fear.
"I'll do anything, do you want money? Any of my Pokemon, hell, I'll even give you the gym, but let me go!" The screams fell on deaf ears, all Brock gained from his pleas was a murderous look from May, who cried out for violence."
"You and I are going to have a LOT of fun... now let May-sama show you what happens to people who abuse innocent girls."
Brock's screams echoed throughout the gym, but no one heard him, after all, the last person in Pewter who would need protection would be the most powerful trainer in town.
Thirty minutes later, May appeared in the gym arena with a goofy smile on her face, and Misty got up to speak to the brunette. "Did you kill him?"
"No, as much as I wanted to, what I did is going to be a much better punishment." May's melodic tone for some reason made Misty cringe in fear. She loved her friend, but May was a demon in human skin when she had to.
The pair left the gym and began to survey the surroundings of Pewter's bench. The site was heavily guarded, but a building under construction next to the bank proved to be a great spot for Dawn and Ash to fulfill their part of the plan. May and Misty silently agreed and headed back to camp.
The rest of the day was spent with Dawn creating the account to transfer the money and numerous secondary accounts to perform multiple transactions in order to break the wire transfer tracking.
It was early in the morning when the second part of the plan went into action. Misty and May were tasked with dismantling the camp and waiting at the meeting point in the woods outside Pewter. Dawn was scared but Ash calmed her down and they both went to the building next to the bank. When they reached the top, Dawm sat down and began to work his magic.
It was surprisingly simple for the girl of superhuman intelligence to crack the codes and gain access to the source code of the banking storage system. Ash watched with morbid fascination as her friend cleaned out a bank's digital safes with a silly smile on her face.
How the hell could she be cute while pulling off a millionaire heist?
It took two hours for Dawn to finish stealing the money and making multiple transfers to third-party accounts. When bluenette's work was finally done, Dawn looked at Ash, her chest puffing with pride.
"These idiots won't even know what hit them! Look Ashy, we got $400,000.00. That's enough money to live well for a long time!" Dawn realized that she called her friend by the nickname May gave him and blushed in embarrassment. Ash laughed at the girl's mood swings and kissed her forehead, successfully calming her down.
"Come on Dawn, we have to get out of town as soon as possible. Soon they will realize the lack of money and we want to be far away." With a shake of her head, Dawn followed her friend and the pair ran out of Pewter.
The trip through the cold dawn was taking a toll on the duo, as in addition to being sleepy, the clothes they wore weren't the best for the cold weather. After almost an hour of travel, Ash and Dawn arrived at the meeting point, being approached by May who threw herself at the pair and brought them into a tight hug.
"Look at you two, making the first round bigger than me and Misty combined in our entire career! Now tell us, how much money did you get?" Misty came slowly to check out how much they got out of this risky plan.
Ash scratched his head shyly and pointed at Dawn, who was hiding behind her back in embarrassment at the attention she was getting from her friends. "Well, I think we better show you, you wouldn't believe me if I told you."
When May and Misty saw the bank statement, they were in shock for nearly a full minute. Ash worried about the reaction line, and it all got worse the moment May and Misty fell unconscious to the floor.
Ash began to comically shake the two older girls, and Dawn looked at the hilarious scene with a comical bead of sweat on the back of her neck.
"What kind of bizarre group did I get myself into…" Although it sounded like a complaint, it was anything but. On Dawn's face was a happy smile framing her beautiful face.
For nearly a year she suffered at the hands of horrible people, but now she was with people who loved her for who she really is.
And this is more than Dawn could ever ask for in her life.
The next day at Pewter was literal pandemonium. Nearly half a million dollars disappeared from the city's bank vaults, and the fact made news throughout the Kanto region. After an arduous investigation, they managed to discover the perpetrator, and to the shock of the people of Pewter, the criminal was none other than Brock, the local gym leader. He was found in his bed at Pewter's gym, unconscious and with burns all over his body. Even claiming to have been a victim of a frame, no one could believe it, as the evidence was impossible to deny.
His life was destroyed in less than a day, where he went from being seen as a local hero to becoming a public enemy of his city. Seeing his life fall apart was the limit for Brock, who suffered a mental breakdown. Having lost the ability to think for himself, he was committed to an asylum, where he would spend the rest of his life being monitored.
Everything Brock talked about from that day forward was about a sapphire-eyed demon who came from hell to punish him for his sins.
What May did to him no one but the girl herself knows, but whatever it was, it was enough to break his mind in just thirty minutes.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the ocean, in the city of Petalburg, a certain Gym Leader woke up startled from his sleep, for some reason fearing for his safety.
Little did he know that this was an omen of the hell that would become his life in the coming weeks.
