The sister-love between Yelena and Natasha had to be in this story. So this chapter focuses only on the bond between these two sisters. I hope you like it!

Chapter 4

It is the sun that shines into her room that wakes her up the next morning. Natasha blinks her eyes to adjust to the light and groans while getting up in the bed. She has a slight headache and her body is stiff of laying still for some time. She stretches her arms above her head and yawns.

"Do you must make so much noise when waking up?" Natasha immediately turns around and sees the woman sitting in her room. Her jaw drops and tears are welling up in her eyes.

The woman is coming over to her. Her blue eyes are filled with tears. For a second they just stare at each other and then Natasha climbs out of the bed and falls in the arms of Yelena.

"I thought I lost you forever," she says.

They are both crying and clamping to each other. All the pain in her body is flowing away, and the emptiness of the past five years is filled again.

Natasha pulls back for a bit to look at her sister. "How are you?"

"Confused."

She smiles and hugs Yelena again. "I never thought I would see you again."

"I hope I won't fade again…" Yelena looks at her and sees the bruises on her arms. "What happened to you?"

"A lot… Let's sit down for a bit." They both sit down at the bed. Natasha rubs her arm and stares to her knees.

"Yelena, I… I died," Natasha says unsure if her sister is aware of this.

"W-what? You were death?"

"You didn't know?"

Yelena stares at her in disbelieve. "How can you be alive then?"

"I am still not sure about that either. The last two days have been really confusing."

"Same here…" Yelena says while shaking her head. 'I still don't understand what happened to me."

"That I do know. We lost to Thanos five years ago, and half of the people of the universe was wiped out. You were gone for five years."

"So, you are really my big sister now then," Yelena tries to joke, but her face is serious. She grabs her hand. "What happened to you?"

"I fell off a cliff for a stone to get everybody back."

"You don't just fall off a cliff… You sacrificed yourself." Yelena jumps up. "Why?"

"To safe you." Natasha swallows away the lump in her throat. "You were gone for five years, and this was the solution. We brought everybody back."

"I don't know if I should hate you for killing yourself or thank you for saving me."

"Yelena, you were finally free, you deserve to live more than I do."

"Stop it. We both deserve to be alive." Natasha nods slightly.

"But how can you be here?"

"Steve rescued me. He went back in time to save me. It is a long story, the past five years were a mess. I missed you so much." Natasha squeezes in Yelena's hand.

"Well, I have been gone for five years, so I guess I can make some time to hear you out."

"Okay then." She stares at her sister and a warm feeling is filling her chest.

The whole morning, she is telling about the events of the last five years and her last battle. Yelena listens quietly, something she isn't an expert in. And when Natasha is done talking, she stays quiet for a while.

"Let's get something to eat," she says eventually. Natasha nods. She hasn't thought of food in a day, but know Yelena mentions it she notices how hungry she is. They go to the restaurant downstairs and sit down at one of the tables. They both order pancakes but when the food arrives, Yelena is not eating from it.

"Are you not hungry?"

"Not really."

Natasha stops eating and looks up to her sister. "What's up?"

"I just can't believe what happened, that I have been gone for five years and you… If Captain America didn't rescue you, I would never have seen you again." Tears well up in her eyes.

"But I am here now, and I won't go away."

Yelena nods and clears her throat. "I know, I know, it is just a lot."

"Yeah, it is…"

She sights. "Okay, let's talk about something else… Do you have some tea to spill about the last five years?"

Natasha smiles. "I don't know, not really."

"So, nothing has happened? How was your date life?"

"Nothing happened there."

"Not even with Captain America? He is quite handsome, and musculair."

"Yelena, stop it," Natasha laughs. "Steve is just a friend."

"So you've got nothing?"

"No… the only one I was interested in flew away to a Caribbean Island to figure things out with his alter ego."

"No, what. You were interested in the Hulk?"

"Well, I was yes. But to much has happened, it is better if we stay friends."

"That is a pity."

"I guess, I don't know."

"But what are your plans for the future?" Asks Natasha.

"I haven't thought about that yet, I just wanted to find you."

"Well, you can stay here if you want."

"I hoped you would say that, because I have nowhere else to go for now." They smile at each other. "But… When I faded, I was still working on the mission of freeing all the Black Widow's, so I should continue with that."

"Then, I will help you. Rather fight humans than aliens."

"Maybe you shouldn't fight at all anymore…"

"What else can I do? Sitting at home and doing nothing isn't really my thing."

"Okay, okay let's go together. But first you need to recover."

"And you too." She still cannot believe that she is sitting here in front of her sister. That after more than five years they have found each other again.
