Here comes another chapter! WOOT WOOT! Are you all ready?! Cause I sure as fuck am!
Chapter 10: Another Element Released!
Spyro had decided to try and teach Cynder how to harness the element of Fire before their adventure went any further. Spyro and Cynder walked toward the nearest river in case Cynder accidentally lit anything on fire. Cynder looked at Spyro and said, "Good idea. Neither of us can control Water yet, and Wind could just make the fire worse if I accidentally set something on fire." Spyro nodded his agreement and replied, "Of course. Better safe than sorry, Cyn." Cynder nodded her agreement.
Spyro looked at Cynder and said, "Alright Love. To unlock the element of Fire, you will need to dig through your psyche and find one of many locks. There will be an ungodly amount of locks in your psyche, as you are a purple. Refrain from breaking all the locks at once, cause it will be too much power for you to handle at this current moment. You will know the right lock to dismantle and force open. It will feel like your consciousness is next to a fire, and when your consciousness feels warm; like it's next to a fire, break that lock; forcibly if need be." Cynder nodded her understanding and sat down as she searched deep within her psyche. She found a lock quickly that felt warm like she was next to a fire and forced it open.
Spyro watched a small flame spout from Cynder's closed maw. He smiled as Cynder stopped searching for the lock inside her. Cynder looked around, a slight hint of orange around her eyes as she had just unlocked a new element. She let loose a large blast of fire from her maw carelessly, immediately setting a tree ablaze. Spyro said, "Shit!"
With the rest of the group:
Sparx and Hunter looked around, feeling as if something was wrong. Gloria looked around worriedly. She took a whiff of the air and shouted, "FIRE! FOREST FIRE! I CAN SMELL SMOKE!" Hunter said, "Shit! We need to try to find Spyro and Cynder! They might be able to stop the fire with the element of Wind!" Sparx nodded his agreement as Gloria ran over to Hunter. Sparx asked, "Where the hell would they go?!" Hunter thought for a second and said, "If I was Spyro, I'd take Cynder to the nearest river in case she lit something ablaze while unlocking the element of Fire!" Gloria said, "That's a start! Let's go! We need to hurry before the fire blazes out of control!" Hunter nodded and led the group toward the nearest river.
Hunter, Gloria, and Sparx had found the nearest river. They immediately realized the fire originated here. They looked at Cynder and realized she was frozen in shock that she started a forest fire. They immediately looked at Spyro and realized he was in some sort of trance. The group gulped in fear as they realized the fire had already become wild. Hunter was about to say orders when a wave of power flowed from Spyro.
Spyro searched deep within himself to find a lock that could potentially be the lock to water. He found a lock that felt cold and wet to his consciousness's touch and immediately began trying to force it open. After what felt like an eternity, Spyro was able to forcibly break the lock. A flow of water shot from his maw as his eyes glowed blue like the ocean. Spyro immediately released full control over the element of Water. He began to glow a brilliant ocean blue as he unleashed the Water Fury. Water from the river began flowing towards Spyro and orbiting him. Spyro looked around at the fire and flew upwards; water from the river still flowed up towards him and orbited him.
Spyro's eyes became a beautiful ocean blue. A large ball of water had surrounded him by now. He shot high into the air fast as a flash of lightning. Rain clouds surrounded Spyro. He looked around and roared as the ball of water around him exploded. As the ball of water exploded, rain began to fall from the clouds and he flew to the ground.
Spyro let loose the rest of the Fury and began shooting Water from his maw accurately with the force of a .50 caliber sniper rifle, immediately putting out any fires Spyro hit. The rain from Spyro's Fury put out the rest of the fires. Spyro accidentally let loose another shot of his Water Fury, firing it almost straight up. As Spyro released the Fury after he had taken care of the fires, the ocean blue glow around him died down and his eyes became purple. Cynder had come out of her shock and took a deep breath. She immediately began apologizing frantically. Spyro replied, "No need to apologize for anything. You didn't do anything wrong. It was the first time you used the element of Fire after all." Cynder said, hyperventilating, "M-Maybe so! B-B-But!" Spyro interrupted her lovingly, "But nothing. It was the first time you used it. It is alright. I promise."
High above the ground:
A Light Brown Colored Wyvern was leading a force of other Wyverns when they were hit with something. It yowled in pain as the thing that hit it pierced both its wings. Blood began to trickle down its wings to the ground. Unable to fly as both wings were pierced, it began spiraling downwards.
As it kept falling, it lost consciousness as it spiraled out of control, spiraling faster and faster until it hit the ground with a loud THUD Dirt and dust flew everywhere as it hit the ground. Making a small crater.
With Spyro's Group:
After Spyro calmed Cynder down enough for her to control her breathing, they all heard a loud THUD nearby. Spyro immediately ran towards the source. The group followed behind him and they all gasped as they saw a Light Brown Wyvern, with massive holes in its wings as if something very powerful and precise hit them. Bones were poking out through its strong scales.
As I said. Shorter chapters until I get the story up and going. I typed this in a matter of maybe an hour and a half. Maybe a little longer. So. I hope you all enjoy this chapter and short update. May the Ancestors watch over you all! Until next time, HappytheExceed16, logging out!
