It only took them a few moments to round up the others. One went down without ever seeing them as Izuku knocked him out from behind. The one that Eraser tried to engage was able to dodge the first strike but was hit in the chest by the man's animal spirit. A cat spirit but much like its owner it was ful of surprises and fire. Long scratches went down the man's face as he was knocked over.
Then there was only two left. Both looked rightfully terrified of the vigilante and hero. Their pigeon spirits showed their fear and agitation in the cooing and abrupt movements barely able to stay in the air.
Eraserhead growled, "Surrender."
Izuku allowed his own animal spirit, to manifest making the two men quake in fear. Behind him was Byakko his White Tiger animal spirit. One of the rarest spirits in the world. At last count there were only five registered in the world. His unregistered made the sixth and the only one in Japan.
Both men threw their hands up in surrender as soon as Byakko manifested. They knew that they were no match for such an animal spirit. If they fought they were likely to be injured and injuries made by animal spirits took longer to heal.
Eraser shot him a look but didn't say anything. He handcuffed each of the criminals and double checked the one who was scratched up wasn't severely injured. From where he stood Izuku could tell his injuries weren't severe but there would be some scarring.
Once they were all secured Izuku released Byakko but kept ahold of his elemental control. Just in case Eraser tried something on him. It would be just like the hero to do so.
The door to the warehouse opened. In an instant Izuku had a knife draw and Eraser had his quirk activated, capture scarf at the ready.
The figure paused before quipping lightly, "One would think you were partners acting like that. That was terrifying."
Ah yes his favorite detective. Tsukauchi Naomasa a detective with the Musutafu Police Department. He and Izuku had many many many disagreements over the years. Apparently he should not be chasing criminal all night long. If he didn't who would? That simply got him a groan in response.
Tsukauchi called to him as he tried to hide in the shadows, "Don't even think about leaving, Kitsune. I need to talk to you."
Izuku didn't even turn around. Instead he flipped the detective off and made his escape. Behind him a string of curses were given from Eraser and Tsukauchi. Neither however gave chase knowing that once he was out of sight they wouldn't be able to catch up to him.
Half an hour later found him sneaking into his room. Once inside he pulled off a glove and pressed his thumb into the side of his mask. There hidden unless one knew it was there was a fingerprint scanner. Only Izuku could take off the mask. Carefully he peeled off the rest of his gear and stowed it.

Rubbing tiredly at his eyes Izuku exited UA. Too little sleep on exam day was not his smartest idea. To be fair he had forgotten that it was going to be UA Entrance Exams today. Still he was fairly certain he had done well. Studying had been one of his few pastimes that did not include running from bullies.
He even met an eccentric girl who seemed nice enough. Her animal spirit was just as eccentric as she was from what he could tell. The fennec fox was constantly all over the place during their practicals. If he was fair his own animal spirit Byakko was also making a nuance of himself. Though the tiger kept to his public persona of a white house cat. If people knew the truth they would automatically put things together about his late night activities.
"Hey, Green Bean!" Shouted a female voice from behind him.
Izuku turned to see the pink haired girl with the fennec fox spirit. This time the fox was on her shoulders curled around her neck. It didn't seem the least bit interested in him. Good he didn't need a curious animal spirit.
Izuku greeted cautiously, "Hello. You're Hatsume correct?"
She grinned as she said, "Call me, Mei. I'm the future CEO of Hatsume Industries. What's your name Green Bean?"
"Izuku Midoriya," he distracted as his phone buzzed.
With a frown he pulled it out of his hoodie and checked the notification. It was from an unknown number. With trepidation he opened it.
Unknown number: You should be more careful about who you go after, vigilante. Just because the weaklings couldn't sense you doesn't mean everyone can't.
Mother fucker. There was only one person that could be.
Kitsune: I assume this is Chisaki Kai also known as Overhaul. What can I do for you?
Unknown number: I am simply giving a warning to you Kitsune. Do not interfere with my work again. I will not look away a second time.
Izuku had a feeling that he wasn't making an idle threat. He growled low in his throat in a mimicry of Byakko. This got Hatsume's attention and she stared at him in curiosity. For the moment he ignored her instead choosing to answer the man.
Kitsune: I wasn't after you last night but I won't stop just because there is a chance we will meet. That is not how this works Overhaul.
Unknown number: Watch your back, Kitsune. You do not want me as your enemy.
And like that he was gone. Izuku's hands clenched tightly around the phone. This would not be the last he heard from Overhaul. He just hoped next time he would have more backup against the villain. He was many things but invincible was not one of them.
Hatsume asked mild concern coloring her tone, "A problem, Mido-kun?"
"No," he stopped blinked and asked, "What did you call me?"
She laughed, "We are friends now. Of course I'm going to give you a nickname. Now tell me about your babies!"
Babies? At his horrified look she went into a long explanation of her babies. Which in turn he learned that was simply what she called her inventions.
Friends, huh?
