"Well we sailed on the same ship for quiet some time."

It shocked Naruto to his core, had this man really know his mother?

"Like I said before you do look quite similar." The man said with a smile while seeming to reminisce of his past life.

"H-How?" Naruto said while still shook about what the man had said.

"How? As in how did I know her, again as I said we sailed together."

"When?"

"Until our Captain handed himself into the marines which was also the last time I saw Kushina."

"Who was her Captain"

"Well it was Gol D. Roger, otherwise know as the Pirate King." The man answered, Naruto's jaw had dropped and was on the floor. Quickly gathering himself he shook his head and looked into the man's eyes.

"And who are you?"

"Well my name's Rayleigh and that over there is Shakky" Rayleigh said as he pointed to the women who was at the bar, when Naruto turned to her she smiled and waved at him.

"So your Rayleigh." Naruto said as Rayleigh nodded. "My mothers Captain was the Pirate King." Rayleigh nodded again. "And my mother was apart of his crew."

"Yep that about sums it up. So now the more important question, why were you in Mary Geoise?"

"Well that's a long answer and I'm not sure if I can trust you with it, how do I truely know that you're telling the truth?" Naruto said looking at Rayleigh suspiciously, Rayleigh just sighed took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes.

"This is going to be a long talk. Ok, how about I talk first then you tell your story once your 'trust' me enough." Rayleigh said hoping to of achieved a compromise, Naruto looked at him wearily but nodded. "Since this is going to take awhile how about we get some drinks."

"Yeah sounds good."

"Ok, Shakky can you grab me some more rum and our friend here will have a...?" Rayleigh said pulling out his flask which needed a refill.

"Beer, I have a bottle of beer please." Both Shakky and Rayleigh gave Naruto a side way glance until Shakky laughed and grabbed their drinks, as she placed their drinks in front of them she sat down beside them interested in the tales that were about to be told.

A young girl was sat at the beach of an island looking out onto the horizon looking to see if she could see anything, she had spent the better part of an hour at the beach just looking out into the ocean.

Sighing the girl got up and dusted the sand off her dress and walked along the beach, it took the girl only a few minutes before she had arrived into town. She skipped along the streets greeting everyone as she went pass stores, soon the girl made her way towards the dock hoping to find something interesting to cure her boredom.

As she arrived at the dock she was meet with the sight of two men hooking their boat to the pier and stepping up, as they clambered out of the small boat they made their way to the girl.

"Hey little lady could you tell me where we can get a drink?" One of the men asked, the man that had asked her the question was wearing what seemed to be a straw hat while the other man had blonde hair and a scar over his right eye.

"I'm not little!" The young girl protested completely ignoring what the man had asked.

"Haha, of course you are! You barley go up to my hip." The man laughed out while the little girl walked up to the man and punched him in the crotch, the man fell to his knees clutching it while the other man yelled out in surprise.

"Hey! What did you do that for!" The man who was punched yelled at the girl who seemed to have this dangerous aura around her, the two men backed away in fear as the girl advanced on them.

She pulled her arm back ready to punch again but before she could land another lethal blow she was grabbed by the arm and lifted into the air.

"What do you think your doing?" Another man said as he grabbed Kushina up and looked at her.

"Teaching them a lesson Garpy" Kushina said with a innocent look, the man who seemed to called Garpy laughed loudly while the other men looked on.

"Now Kushina say sorry." Garpy said putting Kushina down, she pouted and turned towards them and then walked over to them. She looked into the man eyes of the one she had punched, she sighed and then punched him again in the crotch. As the man fell over with his soul leaving his Kushina sprinted away before Garpy could grab her, sighing Garpy rubbed the back of his head before turning towards the two men.

"Sorry about her, I'm Garp." Garp said while helping the man to his feet, the punched man just waved his hands.

"It's nothing, she's a real firecracker. I'm Gol D. Roger." Roger said with a smile while shaking Garps hand, a cough got Rogers attention making him turn around. "Ah and this is my friend Silvers Rayleigh."

"It's nice to meet both of you, and again I'm sorry about Kushina I can barely control her."

"It's nothing, how about you make it up by buying me and Rayleigh a drink?"

"Haha I can agree with that any day."

The three started to make their way towards the bar, the three of them made small talk along the way with with Roger and Rayleigh learning about how Garp was a Marine and was only here to see Kushina.

As they were about to enter Roger looked over his shoulder and saw Kushina sitting down on the beach with the water running over her feet, quickly deciding to for go the drink he turned towards Garp and Rayleigh.

"You guys have a drink I think I'll go for a walk." Roger said which confused Garp while Rayleigh seemed to understand what Roger was doing.

"C'mon Garp tell me more about your Marine adventures." Rayleigh said ushering Garp into the bar who nodded and started talking.

Roger made his way to Kushina who hadn't noticed him but continued to look out into the sea as water ran over her feet, when he reached her he sat down beside her which made her jump with fright at his sudden appearance.

"I can see your dream in your eyes, you want to go out on adventures don't you." Roger questioned as Kushina looked at him with wide eyes.

"How'd you know that!" Kushina yelled out at Roger, she pulled her arm back again but was stopped when he grabbed it before she could strike.

"Like I said I can see it in your eyes, you crave adventure and you want to get out of this place." Roger replied this time Kushina didn't answer for a few seconds.

"Yes" she quietly said to which Roger grinned before looking out into the ocean enjoying the view.

"Well we all have a dream."

"What's yours then?"

"Well my Dream is-" the sounds of crashing waves hit against the sound as Kushina looked at Roger with a drawn back look.

"That's a dumb dream."

"Well it's my dream and to do it I need to be the greatest pirate to of ever lived." Roger said grinning like a madman, looking back over at Kushina he noticed that she had stars in her eyes.

"Your a pirate!?" She asked surprised, Rogers face dropped immediately realising what he had just said.

"I shouldn't of said that should I?" Roger said as he got up to leave to get Rayleigh, maybe if he got there before Kushina did then they could get away before Garp tried to capture them. As he got up in a hurry he started running towards the village before he was jumped on by Kushina.

"Take me with you please!" She said begging to Roger. "I hear that all pirates go on great adventures so if I go with you I'll go on one to."

"Yeah that's right I do go on great adventures, wait a minute no your only a child." Roger said as he caught himself in his mistake, looking at Kushina he noticed she had tears in her eyes and was wiping them away.

"Okay" she said as she walked away from Roger and back into town, sighing to himself Roger made his way to where the bar was. Peering inside he could see both Garp and Rayleigh talking to each other laughing every now and then when one said something funny.

Stepping inside he made his way over to them, as hey got to them he noticed that they had downed a few bottles each but both seemed completely sober.

"Hey Rayleigh we should head off." Roger said clapping Rayleigh on the shoulder who nodded.

"Ah really? Well if that's the case then I won't hold you any longer gentlemen."

"It was a pleasure meeting you Garp."

"Hope to see you guys around."

Garp shook both of their hands before making his way out of the bar, Roger soon followed him gesturing for Rayleigh to follow him. Soon the two of them made their way to the pier were the boat was still intact but Roger did notice that some barrels had been moved, putting it down to paranoia or wind he untied the boat and let it start drift towards the ocean.

"What was the name of this island again Rayleigh?"

"Dawn Island."

"Huh it's a nice place, good place to start a family." Both men looked at each other before bursting out in laughter at the idea.

The boat slowly pulled away from Dawn island until you could no longer see it, the two relaxed as they sat back doing minimal to change the ships corse in the these calm seas.

It wasn't until one of the barrels started shake scaring both Rayleigh and Roger who got their swords out ready for a fight. Rayleigh stepped forward and kicked the barrel over.

Kushina sprawled out of the barrel and landed headfirst onto the deck, as she sat up she looked sheepishly at the men who didn't seem to be happy that she was there.

"Hey guys." She said waving at the two.

"What the hell are you doing here!" Roger yelled out at Kushina.

"Well you said you were a pirate and I wanted to go on adventures." Kushina said in a matter of fact tone, both men weren't convinced.

"Does Garp even know you left? He'll kill us if he found you here." Rayleigh stated, Kushina stood up wagged her finger at him.

"No he won't, I left a note telling him how I was going to become a pirate with you guys." Kushina said proudly, both mens jaws dropped.

"You idiot! He'll definitely kill us now!" Roger yelled which made Kushina back away with tears in her eyes.

"I was just following my dream like you are." Kushina reasoned while wiping away tears, Roger stopped and took a step back before taking a knee in front of Kushina.

"I know why you did it but you have to understand that doing this could put me and Rayleigh in a lot of danger." Roger said making Rayleigh nod beside him. "But! Because it's a dream I'll let you come"

"Roger you can't." Rayleigh said trying to get Roger to see reason.

"Who's the captain Rayleigh?"

sigh* "you"

"Exactly, so if Kushina wants to join our pirate crew then she can."

Rayleigh shook his head but accepted Rogers choice. Kushina couldn't of been more happy that she started to dance around the ship in excitement.

"And from this moment forth Kushina you'll be know as Kushina the 'Hot-Blooded Habanero'!" Roger yelled out, looking at Kushina he was ready for her praise but when he looked at her all he got was fear.

"Idiot!" Kushina yelled out punching Roger in the nose sending him nearly off the side of the boat as Rayleigh laughed at Roger, Roger was hanging onto the edge of the boat and when he turned back to Kushina she had a murderous aura around her. Rayleigh just sighed and left Roger to his demise thinking that it was his own fault for this predicament.

Naruto and Shakky spent a lot of the day hearing about the adventures that Rayleigh went on along with Kushina, Shakky was surprised at some of the adventures that Kushina had been on even though she had known her.

Naruto had to hold back tears many times with all the stories bringing up memories of the ones his mother told him back on Wano. As Rayleigh finished another story he turned to Naruto expectingly.

"Is that enough to prove that I knew your mother?"

"Yeah that's enough." Naruto said mulling over stories in his head. "Well I guess you want to know what happened to her and also about me?"

"I am very interested in what happened to Kushina and your own story."

"Well I don't know much about what happened to my mother but I assume she is dead." Naruto said grimly looking at Rayleigh as his eyes darkened.

"Who killed her?" Anger was pouring out of Rayleigh and it was hard for Naruto to stay focused, Shakky put her hand on Rayleigh which calmed him down.

"It was Kaido."

"I knew I should of never left her there." Rayleigh said slamming his hand on the table making it shake. "Wait, you said assumed she was dead."

"Well yeah last time I saw her was with Kaido and then I heard about her sword being handed to the Marines so I just assumed." Naruto replied, Rayleigh took a deep breath before looking back up at Naruto.

"I would like to know about you Naruto." Rayleigh said trying to cast away thoughts of Kushina and just focus on her son. "How'd you end up here."

"That's a long story but it started with me escaping Wano from Kaido and his beast pirates, then I drifted to Dressrosa and stayed there for a few years. Once I heard of my mothers death I wanted to go on adventures so I set out to sea and eventually I ended up meeting Fisher, I heard about the slaves at Mary Geoise and I wanted to help him free them so I went with him and that's how I meet you in the end."

"That was probably shorter then I wanted but it will do for now." Naruto said while Rayleigh looked at him before bursting out with laughter.

"You're a carbon copy of her." Rayleigh laughed making Naruto smile. "What are you going to do now?"

"I'm not to sure." Naruto replied as his hand moved over to where his the slave mark was branded, Rayleigh eyes followed Naruto's hand and upon realising what Naruto meant Rayleigh sighed and took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes again.

"With that you're going to have to be a lot more careful now, if you're ever captured then you'll be sold as a proper slave or you might be killed if they think you ran away."

Naruto closed his eyes and tried to think about what to do while having to be careful to not get captured, thinking back to the stories of his mother that he had just learnt he tried to think what his mother would do. Honestly from what Naruto had learnt his mother wouldn't really care about what situation she was in and would do what she wanted. Nodding his head Naruto knew what he would be doing now, turning to Rayleigh with a smile he explained his plan.

"Alright, I know what I want to do now! I'm going to go on a great adventure around the world telling all my mothers crew mates what happened to her." Naruto said with a smile to Rayleigh, Shakky smiled at Naruto's idea while Rayleigh had a questioning look on his face.

"Don't you want to do other things then that?" Rayleigh said unsure at Naruto's plan.

"Good point." Naruto said while putting his face in his hands trying to think of a solution to the problem within plan. "I got it, I'm going to go on any great adventures I want to do but while I'm on those adventures I'll still try to find mothers crew mates."

Looking over at Rayleigh Naruto's determination faltered, Rayleigh was looking at his face with a deadpan look while Shakky was laughing.

"That's basically the same plan."

"Shut up! It's perfect!" Naruto said trying to punch Rayleigh to which he caught all the punches.

"Ok then, if that's your plan where are you going first?"

"Well that's easy I'm going to my mothers home town Prawn island." Naruto said standing while point in the direction of the island, Rayleigh face palmed.

"It's Dawn Island and it's the other way."

"I knew that! So how are we getting there?"

"Oh God it hurts how much you are like her and I'm not going."

"Why not? It'll be great to go there and we can tell all of Kushina family what happened to her."

"Were you not listening to a thing I said! Kushina doesn't have any family apart from Garp who might not even be related to her!"

"I don't care anyone there should know what happened to her."

"I thought you said only her crew?" Rayleigh said with a smug smile, Naruto fell over from being called out on his plan before perking right back up.

"No time to think about it, when do we leave?"

"I'm not going Naruto, I have other duties to care for." Rayleigh said still trying to get through Naruto's head that he couldn't go. "If you truely want to leave you will have to get there yourself."

Naruto dropped down disappointed that he had hit the first road block in his path, slowly pulling himself up he got closer to Rayleigh.

"What am I suppose to do now?"

"Theirs a Marine ship leaving for east blue tomorrow if you can hide aboard then you can get to Dawn island a lot easier." Shakky said from where she was, Naruto's eyes wide and he ran over to Shakky and pulled her into a tight hug.

"Thank you so much Shakky!" Naruto yelled while hugging Shakky, letting go of her he ran towards where he was sleeping and ripped the door open. Quickly grabbing his backpack and his brown leather jacket he sprinted towards the exit of the bar, as he grabbed the handle he turned back to Shakky and Rayleigh.

"I'll see you guys again one day and thanks for the stories Rayleigh I'll never forget them!" Naruto yelled before opening the door and running out of the bar and towards the docks.

"Will he be alright?" Shakky asked Rayleigh who just chuckled and nodded his head.

"I have a feeling that he will be but whatever he does it will be interesting."

"I wonder if he knows that he is going in the wrong direction." Shakky said, they both looked at he each other before bursting out in laughter.

Naruto at this point had decided at this point he was a professional stow away, the Marine ship had been bustling with Marines who all looked some what menacing. This though didn't fade Naruto who used his past learnt skills of hiding to keep out of the sights of the marines who knew that they had a stow away on board.

Naruto kicked himself for alerting them of his presence on the ship when he boarded onto the ship, with the lack of directions from Shakky he cursed her for making him nearly miss the ship. Although he was annoyed at Shakky for the lack of directions he couldn't really blame her fully for it, he had been the one to run off before learning the way to the ship.

Pushing those thoughts aside he concentrated on not getting caught by the marines on the ship who were actively looking for him, he made his way down one of the many corridors on the ship which he hoped would lead him to a good place to hide.

Checking every door and corner he looked out for not only hiding places but also foes, as he made his way to what seemed to be the kitchen the door suddenly opened which made Naruto panick.

Quickly releasing his claws he jumped up and put his claws through the ceiling, two men in Marine cloths but with cook hats on walked out and stopped right underneath him.

"Do you think a stowaway is really on the ship?"

"I hope not, could you imagine what Smoker would do to us if he found out."

"Well I hope if there is someone on the ship we catch them soon, it's creepy that someone could be running around the ship when we are asleep."

The other Marine nodded as they both made their way down the hall none the wiser of Naruto being above them, laughing to himself as he dropped from the roof with a thud.

'I should really find a place to hide, that was a little to close for comfort.' Naruto thought to himself as he continued to make his way around the ship looking for a hiding place.

Eventually Naruto found the perfect spot even though it was a bit cramped. It was a vent that attached the storage room to the mechanic room, the place was around a quiet area of the ship with not many people walking around but it was also close to kitchen where Naruto could find left overs so he wouldn't go hungry.

The vent system was primitive but was still liveable for Naruto even though it's size would just fit Naruto in. Now all Naruto had to do was wait until his location arrived which he hoped wouldn't be that long.

In his free time he had fun with Marines on board by taking there things and moving them around which caused multiple fights between them as to who was the one at fault.

The days, or what seemed to be days Naruto couldn't tell due to being below deck, passed as the Marines on board become more relaxed deciding that their wasn't anyone unwanted on board.

The chefs in the kitchen had questioned what had happened to some of the left overs from the meals but didn't ask thinking that some other chef had must of thrown it out.

The storage room Naruto had noticed was becoming more empty as the days passed, at this point he was using it as his indicator at how long until the ship would arrive at the destination at the east blue.

Naruto was sat inside the vent looking into the storage room which now only had two more crates left, the door to room opened and one large looking chef along with a skinny small child walked in. The large chef grabbed one of the crates and stacked it on top of the other and picked them up with ease making the small child look at him with wide eyes.

"We must be getting close now Tow." The small child said noticing the lack of other crates in the room.

"Aye we arriving in before lunch Sasu." Tow responded to Sasu's question.

"What are even in these crates? We couldn't need much more would we?"

"Aye you right but the town is running low on its vegetable supply."

"So these are full of seeds?"

"Naye these full with VegaVeges, put a bit of water on them and they grow double the size." Sasu eyes widen looking at the crates not really believing what had been told to him. "C'mon Sasu let's go."

The Sasu nodded and walked out of the door which Tow followed behind him but Tow stopped and looked straight to the vent that Naruto was in.

"Wait fifteen after we dock and here's beli for a boat to Dawn, it's from Shakky." Tow said dropping some money onto the floor and then leaving without stopping.

Naruto sat in the vent with wide eyes at what the man had just said, Naruto shook his head at the length Shakky had gone to help him.

'I'll never be able to repay her will I?' Naruto pushed open the vent and wiggled his way out and scampered out over to beli that was on the floor before looking out into the corridor to see if he could see anyone, the only thing he could see was Tow and Sasu legs rounding the corner. Shaking his head he made his way back to the vents to continue waiting until the ship docked at the port.

The town that Naruto had learned was called Lougetown was a nice island even if it was the gate way into the grand line. Getting off the ship had been pretty easy, waiting the fifteen minutes that Tow had told him made the ship nearly empty with only a few lingering Marines who were giving finishing checks on the ship.

Naruto had made his way around the town taking in the new surroundings he was faced with, he noticed that a lot of the town was properly built with a mixture of stone and wood unlike the islands he visited in the new world which were mostly built from wood.

Pulling out the beli that Tow had given him from Shakky he counted it all up and noted that he would be able to buy a little boat that should be able to get him to the destination but also be left with some beli.

As he continued to make his way around town he arrived in the centre of the town, in the middle of a large area was a execution platform that towered over Naruto. Looking up Naruto could see where Gol D. Roger would've been executed.

'First placed reached Mother even if it was coincidence' Naruto thought with a smile looking at the place where his de facto relative had been killed.

"It's pretty interesting to think that such a powerful man died there." A girl said to Naruto, she had dark brown eyes, shoulder length black hair and had rectangular glasses with a red frame.

"Eh!?"

"I mean it's interesting to think that someone so significant died so easily."

"W-What? Who are you?"

"Oh! Sorry how rude of me my name's Tashigi." She said offering her hand to Naruto who reluctantly took it.

"Uzumaki D. Naruto"

"Well it's nice to meet you Naruto what are you doing in Lougetown?"

"Just going to another island from here."

"What island?"

'Gosh is this what I'm like' Naruto huffed to himself as he winced his eyes at Tashigi, once the girl noticed that Naruto wasn't going to answer she blushed looking away.

"Don't have to be rude." She said pouting and stamping her foot.

"What? I didn't even ugh sorry."

"That's what I thought." She said with a triumphant smile with her head held high. "And because of your rudeness you will now treat me to ice cream."

"What! I don't even know you!"

"Doesn't matter let's go." She said dragging Naruto by the arm and pulling him in the direction of what only Naruto could guess was the ice cream shop.

With ice cream in hand and a few beli lighter Naruto was following Tashigi around as she told him about Lougetown.

"Did you know that Lougetown was one of the first places that a Marine base was set up?" Tashigi said while licking her ice cream.

Naruto although annoyed at Tashigi for swindling him for ice cream couldn't deny that this was a great tasting food, he'd only ever had ice cream at Dressrosa with Viola. Thinking of her brought a frown to his face.

'I wonder how she's doing, what about Scarlet or Doldo?' Naruto thought as his ice cream melted and spilled onto his hand. Waving in front of his face caught his attention.

"Your ice creams melting Naruto, you know it was quiet expensive to buy."

"Ah! I was the one who bought it idiot!" Naruto grunted as Tashigi giggled at him, suddenly she grabbed Naruto's hand and started running.

"I just remembered I have to show you the coolest thing I found!" Tashigi yelled as she ran while nearly ripping Naruto's arm off, Naruto couldn't care less where she was taking he was just focused on not spilling anymore of his ice cream.

As Tashigi pulled him away from Lougetown and into the surrounding forest of the town, as they dodge trees and ducked at low hanging branches Naruto couldn't help but wonder where he would be able to get a boat.

A sudden stop made Naruto trip over a root that was connected to a near by tree and sent his ice cream straight into his face, sitting up growling Naruto wiped the ice cream off his face and got ready to yell at Tashigi but was stopped when he looked up and saw where they were.

It was a beautiful opening in the forest it had lush green grass along with a small pond which had a few ducks swimming and playing with each other. Looking over at Tashigi who was looking past the pond with the ducks and was instead staring at a medium sized gravestone that had words etched on the front.

Standing up Naruto moved pass Tashigi, who was watching Naruto move towards the gravestone, and nelt down to properly read what the gravestone said.

Here lies the memory of Gol D. Roger.

Naruto felt something resonate in him, standing back up Naruto backed away from the gravestone with wide eyes. Turning towards Tashigi he raced forward and gave her a hug.

"Thanks for showing me this Tashigi!" He said as he started running away but turned his head to look back at her again. "We'll meet again one day! You got that!"

"Ok?" Tashigi said back as Naruto went out of her sight. "What was that all about?"

Naruto raced through the forest as he tried to work out what to do now, he hadn't expected to learn that kind of information here at Lougetown.

'H-he had a son and no one knows how!' Naruto couldn't comprehend the information. 'What do I do! What do I do!'

Naruto wasn't thinking straight and was starting to panic as a million thoughts raced through his head as to what to do.

'I know, I know I'll still go to Dawn to try and find clues to where he is!'

With the plan formulating in his head Naruto burst through the tree line and was back in Lougetown. Many of the residents watched Naruto race through streets dodging people as he continued to race to what seemed to be the docks.

Rounding the final corner that would lead him to the docks Naruto was meet with a face full of smoke, not being able to see where he was going he ran straight head first into a pole knocking him to the ground.

Looking around to see where the smoke was coming from Naruto was meet with the sight of a man dressed in Marine uniform and was smoking to cigars.

"What's the rush boy?" The man said gruffly annoyed that he had to use his logia powers, the man's legs had disappeared and was replaced by smoke that billowed where Naruto had just ran through.

"Nothing important to you" Naruto responded as he lifted himself off the street and went to run off again to the docks but the man had stepped in front of him.

"Well it must be important for you to nearly knock yourself out." He said as he tried to reach out to Naruto, Naruto jerked his body back and went to run pass the man. "Nah we're not doing that boy, let me help you."

Quickly growing tired at the man's attempt to help him, as the man went to grab him again Naruto jumped straight through his chest. The man not ready for Naruto to do such a thing turned into smoke as Naruto went right through him and started sprinting away again.

The man groaning started floating towards Naruto in his smoke form and easily caught up to Naruto and once again stepped in front of him, although he was mostly smoke. Quickly forming a plan in his head Naruto took in as much air as his powers would allow him and exhaled as much as he could straight at the man.

The man's smoke was sent every where as the path cleared for Naruto to run to the docks, Naruto sprinted for the pier and saw an old man untie what seemed to be a small dingy boat.

Smiling to himself Naruto reached into his bag and pulled out all the Beli he had left, as he got closer the old man the man made of smoke was calling out to Naruto to stop but Naruto ignored him a pressed onwards towards the old man with the boat.

The old man was about to get into his boat but was pushed aside as Naruto jumped over him and into the boat, Naruto as he jumped over the old man through all the Beli straight into the old man hitting his face.

"Thanks old man!" Naruto yelled out to man who's boat he just semi-stole. "There should be more then enough money to get a new one!"

Although the boat had no sails or paddles to move the boat it started to push its self out to sea as if it was caught in a rift. The smoke man finally reached the older man at the pier and helped him up.

"Are you alright Rou?" He asked the old man as he brushed the man off.

"It's alright Smoker, I needed a new boat anyway." Rou said with Beli signs in his eyes. "This more then enough to get a new personally built boat!"

"You sure you don't want me to go after the brat? He caused trouble for me to."

"Bah! More hassle then it's worth." Tou said as he left with a skip in his step as Smoker shook his head as he watched the boy and small boat slowly drift away at speeds that that type of boat shouldn't be able to do.

Naruto smiled as he finally arrived at his destination and it looked exactly as how Rayleigh had said it did in his stories about first meeting his mother.

He had sailed pass the massive palace that was the Goa Kingdom and headed straight for Foosha village, his mothers hometown. As he passed the rocky cliffs Naruto immediately noticed the windmills that were situated on the island and they were just as he imagined they would be when Rayleigh had talked about them.

As he pulled into the towns port he tied his small boat that had served him well to the pier and jumped out and onto the pier landing with a thud. As Naruto made his way along the pier he noticed a few people were staring at him and it made Naruto slightly uncomfortable.

"Hey you!"

A small boy yelled out to Naruto from steps that overlooked the pier, the young boy had shaggy black hair and round black eyes.

"What are you doing here!"

"I'm looking to see if anyone here knows someone called Uzumaki D. Kushina or maybe her original name Monkey D. Kushina?"

"Hey that my name go find another one!"

"Your names Kushina?" Naruto asked confused 'it was a strange name for a male wasn't it' he thought.

"No my name's Monkey D. Luffy so they stole it! Tell them to give it back or I'll fight them!"

"You can't fight someone whose dead you idiot!"

"I don't care I'll beat them up anyway!"

"Not if I have anything to do with it!" Naruto said making his way over to Luffy, as Naruto reached the boy he noticed that he was a head or two taller then him.

"Then I'll beat you up to!" Luffy yelled out as he jumped at the Naruto's arm, not expecting much Naruto let the boy do his worse and the worse is what he got. Luffy's teeth clamped down onto Naruto's arm, Naruto stared at the boy who was latched to his arm for a few seconds before yelling out and started to try and pry the boy off his arm. The other people around just watched with a deadpan look at the scene before just going back to their work, this of course wasn't the first time Luffy had done something like this.

"Luffy! Let go of him this instance!" A voice yelled out from across the street, both the boys looked over and saw the sight of a young women with green hair marching her way over.

Luffy quickly let go of Naruto's arm and fell to the ground with a panicked look on his face as the girl reached them, she bent over and picked Luffy up by the collar.

"What have I told you about biting people?" She said with a menacing aura around her.

"Not to." Luffy responded dejectedly as he looked down with puppy dog eyes, the girls resolve quickly collapsed at the eyes and sighed.

"Just don't do it again and especially to people you just meet." She said while Luffy smiled and nodded, turning to Naruto she smiled to him. "Sorry about that did you need some help?"

"Yeah I do, I'm looking to see if anyone here knows the name of Uzumaki D. Kushina or Monkey D. Kushina?" Naruto asked hopefully.

"Well if anyone would know someone from Foosha it would be Woop Slap he's been the mayor for years but I do vaguely remember that name being a famous pirate that was a member of the Pirates King crew."

"What! How come you never told me about that Makino!" Luffy yelled out as his eyes went star eyed.

"Well it never came up and not many people remember anyway."

"So where can I meet this Woop Slap?" Naruto inquired.

"Here I'll show you, c'mon Luffy let's keep you out of trouble." Makino said taking Luffy by the hand and started walking away with Naruto in toe.

There we go another chapter all done, I hoped you liked the Kushina flashback.

Meeting Luffy is also great hopefully it wasn't to fast for some because Luffy is a great character to write and I hope Lougetown was great because I think it turned well.

Hopefully no one is to disappoint by how little time Naruto spent with Shakky and Rayleigh but he's always wanted adventure although that will be put on hold due to Luffy and someone else who will be just as important to Naruto as Luffy is or will be.
