"[Chapter 2: The Storm Dragon: Veldora]"

Madara Uchiha had wondered on this unfamiliar cave for several hours now trying to find an exit. When he had woken up he was just as confused as anyone would on his situation.

Several questions ran through his head.

Why was he — who was supposed to be dead, alive? Where was he? And why couldn't he feel Chakra no matter how hard he tried to feel it? All he could feel was just some type of energy. It had a really pure feeling to it — unlike Chakra who had a really ominous feeling to it.

After pondering on these questions for quite some time, he had come to a conclusion that he had been reincarnated into another world.

Of course, he knew that reincarnation was possible, after all he was a reincarnation of Indra Otsutsuki: the son of The Sage Of The Six Paths.

"But I didn't quite belive that reincarnation on a completely different reality was possible. Is this perhaps another chance for me to redeem for my past mistakes? If it is so, then I will undoubtedly take it with pleasure. I will have another chance at my dream. Izuna, mother, father, Shou, Haru, Rinne, and Hashirama — this time I will fulfill my dream and bring peace to this world.

He said, making a promise to his parents, siblings, and his best friend; Hashirama Senju.

"Haahah, I will tell you that what you said has surprised me to no end. I have lived for thousands of years and I have never seen someone — be they angel, devil, spirit, Hero or human — try to actually achieve what you just said. Heh-heh-heh… Eh-ha-ha. Ahh-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!! Interesting! I already like you!"

Madara looked at the owner of the voice and his jaw dropped.

Standing in front of him was a creature he had never seen before on his life.

The body of the creature shone like obsidian. There were six fingers on each "hand," equipped with claws that looked ready to tear through whatever they found.

The two pairs of wings on his back—one larger than the other—came to a point at their respective ends, like swords honed to perfection and ready to dice.

Upon closer observation, the ominous scales covering his entire body actually radiated a dark purplish light—a mixture, perhaps, of their natural color and the unearthly force that made its way through the surface.

There was something strangely beautiful about his vast shape, the picture of majestic dignity.

Madara looked at the the creature in front of him dumbfounded.

He could feel the creatures power and it was enormous — no, to call it enormous, would be a complete insult to the creature. Even if you combined the might of four or five Ten Tails, this creature would probably still come out on top, victories.

On instinct, Madara took a step back. It was not that he was afraid, after all he is Madara Uchiha, but something inside of him was telling him to not fight this creature. Be it instinct of being on the battlefields for decades or a gut feeling, that, he did not know.

"Hooo? I can tell by that look on your face that you can feel the extent of my power, but yet, you still do not run away from me. Either you are foolishly brave or you are completely insane. Interesting! Interesting!! Interesting!!! What's is your name, human? Heh-heh-heh… Eh-ha-ha. Ahh-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!"

His laughter alone was able to shake the entire cave to its foundation.

Madara waited until his laughter died down as he slowly started composing himself and finally answered to the creature: "Is it not rude to ask some else about his name without giving an introduction to yourself first.

Madara said calmly, his voice not flattering at all in front off the mighty monster.

The creature sat down on a lotus position and scratched his imaginary beard.

"You are right. You are right. If I remember correctly — it is common curtesy for humans to make an introduction of oneself before asking another for their name. My mistake. Alright then, I am the Storm Dragon; Veldora. One of the Four True Dragons in this world!!!"

He said his name proudly while he buffed his chest forward and gave the Ghost of The Uchiha a toothy grin hoping to make and impression on him and maybe — just maybe, make a friend on the way. He was lonely after all. Not speaking or seeing someone for over three hundred years does that to everyone.

"Now then, who are you?"

Madara deadpanned.

"This attitude, that annoying way of talking, that laughter. Yep. Another Hashirama. Am I cursed or something?" Madara sighed.

He wanted to leave so badly and avoid having another weirdo in his life, but at the moment the thing he needed most was information. This Dragon announced himself as one of the Four True Dragons in the world, meaning that he was someone very important — so he decided to play along a little bit longer on this little charade.

"My name is Madara Uchiha. Now then, that introductions are over. Can you answer a question of mine?"

"Go ahead!"

"Where are we?"

"You got here and you do not know where you are?" Veldora asked, looking curiously at the man named Madara Uchiha.

"No. I was just having my last conversation with my rival, awaiting the eternal sleep... when then somehow I found myself very much alive, completely healed of my previous injuries and stuck inside this cave.

"Hooo, are you perhaps a Otherworldler?"

Madara open his eyes wide, intrigued by the term.

"A Otherworldler?" Madara asked. "They even have a term for it. So that means I'm not the only one to have been reincarnated in this world.

"Hmph. You do see Otherworldlers, on occasion. Their memories from the past are burned into their souls, due to a powerful will. There are some, indeed, who retain every memory of their past lives. But a reincarnation from another world… That is quite uncommon. A regular soul, by itself, would have no hope of surviving a journey across the dimensions. It would dissolve midway, taking its memories with it. Someone retaining their full mind and not having their souls not even a little bit damaged… I cannot recall any past example of that. Your existence is quite… strange, if i do say so myself.

People from other worlds, it seemed, kept only part of their memories at best. Someone like Madara, who still had them all, was pretty well unheard of.

He had just told me something I couldn't afford to ignore. A soul, "by itself"…? So you could travel to this world without getting reincarnated or anything?

"Huh. Am I that unusual? Are there people, then, who come here from other worlds without being reincarnated?"

"There are. None have succeeded in traveling to another world from here, but there are more than a few that have completed their travels here from elsewhere. They are known as "visitors," or "Otherworlders," and they bear knowledge of things that do not exist in this world. They acquire, as I hear it, some manner of special power when they make the journey here. Beyond that, there are records of transmigrants, who—as I said—bear knowledge of other worlds. Not all of them choose to openly identify themselves as such, though, I imagine.

"So I'm kind of blessed that my memories didn't get completely erased. I would never forgive myself for forgetting my siblings and my parents." Madara thought and looked at the massive Dragon in front of him. "You have my thanks, Veldora.

Veldora hooghly crossed his arms and puffed his chest with pride for being useful at his soon — "maybe, just maybe" — new friend. He was making quite the progress, so maybe he will come back at him and talk with him now and then. It was was going pretty well if he did say so himself.

"Now, then, farewell Storm Dragon, Veldora.

No. No. No. No. It was going terribly wrong. What did he say? What did he do wrong? He had been practicing this for decades now especially for a moment for this. He was just lonely and just wanted a friend to talk too. Was that to much to ask for?

"Then I have no choice...

So he decided to pull out his secret technique.

"Wait, your leaving already?" Veldora asked sadly. He turned away shyly and looked at Madara on the corner of his eyes while fidgeting his index fingers together.

Madara turned around and looked at the Dragon. He, of course, could tell that the act was just a charade, but he could feel the Dragon's emotions and, in fact, the Dragon was quite saddened. Why he wondered. This Dragon reminded him a lot of his past rival and best friend; Hashirama Senju.

"You can come with me then — if you so desire.

"I'm afraid that won't be possible, Madara.

"Why?"

Veldora raised his claw slowly and a oval shaped forcefield appeared around him.

"What is that?"

"A seal. It happen over three hundred years ago." Veldora explained to Madara. "I perhaps underestimated my opponent slightly. I eventually began fighting with, shall we say, more urgency, but…well, it was rather too late by then!"

Madara's eyebrows twitched. This overgrown lizard sounded almost proud of his losing performance.

"She was…quite strong. She was what the humans call a [Hero] — one blessed with so-called divine protection." Veldora continued. "Now that I recall, the hero also said she was summoned. Perhaps she hails from the same world as you.

Madara simply shook his head.

Veldora by itself was equivalent in power to four or five Ten Tails. And as far he remembered, he could not recall a single person as strong as that in his world, but of course there were the Otsutsuki Clan.

They were an alien existence to even him.

So there stood the possibility that this so called [Hero] was from the same Clan as that damned woman; Kaguya Otsutsuki. He needed to be careful.

Those people were very dangerous because they didn't play by the rules, they acted on animal instinct and didn't display any emotion of the sort, making them very unpredictable on their actions.

If they sensed his enormous Chakra levels and the massive richness of pure energy off what this Dragon called magic... they were bound to come on this world to cultivate it with the Divine Tree.

If someone were to eat the Chakra Fruit of this world that was probably stacked with monsters of Veldoras level of strength or perhaps at even higher level than him, the damage to the entire cosmos would be catastrophic. The enemy would be purely unbeatable. Completely Omnipotent.

He needed to be very careful and come up drastic measures to contain and keep them as far away as he can from cultivating this world.

First, he needed to gather more information about this world, gather allies, formulate all kinds of plans and grow in power himself in order to challenge the Otsutsuki Clan. He wasn't going to allow some kind of parasites ruin his dream and his chance at a new life.

Madara looked at Veldora and scratched his nonexistent beard, continuing on his questions.

"Do tell more, Veldora. This... woman, what did she look like?" Madara asked, trying to confirm his suspension.

Her skin was pale in color, the dragon told Madara; her lips were bright red and small. Her long hair was a dark shade of silver, kept back in a single ponytail. She was slim, not that tall, rather small for a human.

Her face was apparently covered by a mask, but there was no doubting her beauty.

Apparently she carried a long, curved sword. A "katana," it was called. She didn't bother with a shield. Taking advantage of two unique skills — [Absolute Severance] and [Unlimited Imprisonment] — and a wealth of other magic, she, as Veldora put it, "overwhelmed" him. There was more than a trace of nostalgic contentment in his voice, or so it seemed to Madara.

Something Madara picked up on as they spoke was that this dragon… he thought that Veldora really didn't like humans. He kept calling them "wimps" and "garbage" and such, but from the way he put it, he never deliberately killed anyone who attacked him. Not unless they went out of their way to rile him.

One time, three centuries ago — just one time, he emphasized — a certain chain of events made him reduce an entire city to embers. That was what made the people send a hero his way, and now—thanks to that hero's [Unlimited Imprisonment] — he was in his current predicament.

"There goes my theory, I guess.

Madara sighed. He crossed his arms, mearly staring at the Dragon Of Storms and a sudden smirk came across his lips that threatened to split his face.

"Good. Good. It seems as if heavens are smiling upon me. Hahahaha. Power is what I needed and it seems like the opportunity landed right in front of me, literally. Hahahah.

Madara laughed in his mind and finally spoke.

"Do you want me too get you out of there?" Madara asked.

The Storm Dragon eyes were sparkling with stars at the suggestion.

"But how? I have tried everything to free myself from this accursed seal for three hundred years and nothing has worked. Raw strength doesn't work and all of my [Skills] have been completely sealed off.

Madara was unsure of how to respond to that, but he was sure that there was was something on his arsenal that would be able to help.

So what should he use?

He could use the [Preta Path] and absorb the seal, but he didn't know if the [Preta Path] would be able to absorb magic, so that was out of the question since he didn't know if there would be any drawbacks if he actually tried doing that?

Veldora said that trying to break it using raw strength was completely impossible, so that was out off the question as well.

"Aha." A light bulb appeared above Madara's head, signifying that he had come up with an idea. "I think... I might have an idea, Veldora.

"Really?! Please, do tell.

"Do you want to become one with me?" Madara asked bluntly and Veldora's jaw dropped.

.

..

...

...

...

...

An awkward silence followed Madara question.

Madara had realised the poor choice of his words and started to panic, but his realization came on to late.

Veldora turned around with blush on his face.

"I'm sorry, Madara, but I don't swing that way. I prefer woman with big boobs, but don't worry, I won't judge you, we can still be best buds!"

Madara started to panic even more.

"No! No! Nooo!!! I don't swing that way as well you stupid Dragon! I was just saying that I could seal you inside of me in order to get you out of [Unlimited Imprisonment]!!!!" Madara yelled trying to correct the misunderstanding.

Veldora regained his posture and pondered on Madara's words, but still he couldn't understand what meant by his later words.

"I don't understand, Madara. What would be the point of getting out off a seal just to be sealed again?"

"Well, you can't get out of this seal no matter how much you tried, right??

"Yes. That is true.

"So if I were to be able to seal you inside of me, then I would be able to somehow free you from [Unlimited Imprisonment, but i don't know if my plan will one hundred percent work. You with me?"

"I don't fully understand it, but I do get the glimpse of it, so please, go ahead.

Madara smirked. "All right. Then, shall we begin.

He slowly raised his arm and opened his palm — aiming it at Veldora.

"[Gedō: Fūinjutsu: Genryū Kyūfūjin! — Outer Path: Sealing Jutsu: Nine Phantom Dragons Consuming Seals!]"

Nine dragon-like effigies made out of pure Chakra came out of of Madara's hand, piercing through [Unlimited Imprisonment] and engulfing Veldora whole.

The [Nine Phantom Dragons Consuming Seals!] was originally a Sealing Jutsu he had created using the Rinnegan and implement it on the Gedo Statue in order for those brats, Nagato and Obito to seal the Tailed Beasts into the Gedo Statue, but since he was the original creator, he knew that the Jutsu had many different uses.

"So it is working.

Madara had suspected something like this actually from what Veldora told him about the [Unlimited Imprisonment]. It could keep anything made out of magic out and would't let anything escape from it. The spell on it self seemed quite perfect. The fact that it kept Veldora seeled for three hundred years proved that.

But seemed like that rule didn't apply to Chakra since it was something completely out of this world.

"So my guess was correct. Even through Magic and Chakra had a similar feeling to it — it seems like they are completely different.

The process of the sealing had stated. First the [Nine Phantom Dragons Consuming Seals!] had absorbed Veldora consciousness on Madara's orders in order to make the sealing process less painful. Then his right arm, left arm, right leg, left leg, then his torso, then his neck and finally, his head.

"Sealing complete.

The process had lasted about three hours or so, but unknown to Madara his action would have consequences because on that day, a tremor had shook the entire world to its foundations.

The Storm Dragon: One of the Four True Dragons in the world; Veldora had disappeared from its Imprisonment.

Two men were in an office, one standing, the other sitting. One had dark blond hair, a parsimonious beard and mustache. He wore the outfit of a noble. A brown vest underneath a purple coat. His name was Baron Veryard, a baron of the Blummund Kingdom.

The other had black hair, however, a section of it had turned white. He wore a white collared shirt underneath a red overcoat, which was unbuttoned. His name was Fuze, the Guild Master.

Both wore serious expressions, after all, the topic that they were discussing was of no laughing matter.

The disappearance of the Storm Dragon, and the effects of his disappearance. The conversation had been going on for quite some time now.

"Can you tell me what measures the guild intends to take regarding this matter?" asked Veryard.

"We haven't intended to take any sort of measures." responded Fuze.

"Now why is that?! You are aware of the possible consequences… now that Veldora is gone, monsters will become more active in the region!"

"I know. But the Eastern Empire may also choose to invade, now that Veldora is gone… making moves within the region might incentivize the Empire. I already sent a team of Adventurers to investigate... but….

Veryard noticed the stress on his childhood friend's face. He questioned Fuze.

"Why are you so stressed? You look even more tired than me.

Fuze sighed.

"There was a sudden spike of power before the disappearance of the Storm Dragon. Many monsters were suddenly shocked, and fled to nearby towns, causing large amounts of damage. Others stayed still. We still don't know why… the most plausible excuse is that the Storm Dragon utilized all of his energy in an attempt to break out, but failed, and somehow disappeared… but if that power was another majin…"

"Then they might be responsible for the disappearance of Veldora. So that's what you were worried about." interrupted Veryard.

Fuze nodded. Then frowned.

"Many adventurers in the area fainted or fled. If it truly is a majin… then it could rival the likes of the current 10 Great Demon Lords…" he continued.

Veryard grimaced.

"Hmph, Let's hope that your investigation bears fruit, and that whatever caused this doesn't show up anytime soon.
