Mirei is brushing her hair. She sits next to Yu-yu on their bed.
"And it's the end of the day."
"You are right."
Yu-yu looks at the sky. The light of the moon catches his attention for a little while.
"Mirei. I have a question."
"Sure."
"May I be... romantic to you tonight?"
"You surely can." Mirei faces towards Yu-yu, "I always like it when you get romantic."
Yu-yu blushes, feeling fired up inside. Unhesitatingly, he wraps his arms around Mirei and gives a tiny kiss on her right cheek.
"Yu-yu..."
"I love you." Yu-yu whispers.
"You are acting quite bold today, aren't you?" Mirei cannot hide her shade of red on her face.
"I am, my sweetheart." Yu-yu responds as he moves his hands around Mirei's lips.
Mirei spins her position and holds Yu-yu tightly on his shirt.
They kiss.
"I love you, dear."
Yu-yu rests on his pillow, smiling over Mirei's love to him. "I feel so happy hearing that, Mirei."
"Ahahaha. I also feel heated too. What happens to you recently?"
"Don't you like being cuddled?"
"You just surprise me, honestly. But it was fun! I will turn the lights off. Goodnight, Yu-yu." Mirei leans in for a kiss.
"Goodnight, Mirei." Yu-yu plants his lips on his sweetheart's forehead.

"That's amazing. Yu-yu, you are really becoming a man for her."
"Thanks, Danji. I just want to show more of my love to her."
"Yu-yu, what do you want for your birthday?"
"Anything, I guess. Nothing particular on top of my head right now."
"Does you tell Mirei about this?"
"...Maybe she already knows."
"If you are not sure, then tell her already."
"Fair. See you later, Danji."
"Have a nice day. I am looking forward to your birthday."
Yu-yu closes the call. He is brimmed with happiness right now. His birthday is coming closer, and next to him is the serene sleeping face of his beloved wife. Sadly, it's time to turn off his gaze at that beauty.
"Time to wake up, Mirei."
"Hmmmn... Good morning."
"Have a nice sleep?"
"Of course." Mirei hugs Yu-yu, "With you by my side, I can sleep for a hundred year."
"Then I wouldn't be able to cuddle with you, then."
"I see. That would be sad. Anyway, what should we have for breakfast?"
"Fried eggs."
"Deal."
Yu-yu walks to the closet and grabs the clothes for both of them. Right when he places the clothes on the bed, however, Mirei brings him near the pillows.
"Five minutes." She grins to her flustered husband.
"You know that it's weekday, right. Our five-minute cuddle could last to thirty."
"Then let me set an alarm. Now there is no worries!"
They indulge themselves in the warmth of blanket, bringing the clothes they will be wearing for the day inside. Laughters can easily be heard if someone is in the room with them.

"Thanks, Mirei. Soy with fried egg is the best!"
"Time to dig in. Nom-nom!"
"There's something I want to tell you."
Mirei gives Yu-yu a thumbs up.
"It's my birthday soon. I just want to tell you that."
"I see. I will make a birthday cake for you. You will enjoy it."
"Thanks." Yu-yu kisses her on the cheek, "Love you, Mirei."

Urara is waiting for someone. Her expressions allude that she has been waiting here for a long time.
"She is taking her time, huh..."
A light touch. "Sorry, Urara-chan~" The girl with a yellow dress pats Urara's shoulder.
"Oh! Hi, Mirei."
"I was busy talking with Yu-yu about something. Let's go!" Mirei apologizes as she holds Urara's hand.
"Yeah. I'm curious about your talk with Yu-yu."
"Wanna guess what day is November 11th?"
"I know. Pocky Day! I love eating Pocky, it tastes so good~"
"It is delicious, right. You can come to my house some day, I will make it for you."
"Ah, thanks. My schedule is a bit packed at the moment. It's lucky that I have free time to spare."
"Awwww... Regardless, you are half-correct!"
"What is the right answer then, I wonder?"
"Yu-yu's birthday!"
Urara is stunned. "Woahhh! Really!?"
"Yeah! Wanna join the fun? We will celebrate his birthday in Yu-yu's home."

Mirei smiles, "Sometimes, your head goes blank during dates. And you do silly things and cannot convey what you truly think. It's frustrating and beyond frustrating."

"Humans fear unfamiliarity. Wandering outside our bubbles is a hard task because our minds are designed to shield us from pain and risks."
"I guess meeting someone you doesn't know before is something we may not be able to adapt quickly."
"Yup. And also the notion of dating, too. Although, our willpower and resolve can overcome that fear! Be flirty sometimes to break the tension. Like this!"
Mirei puts her lips on Urara's left cheek.
"Heh? HEH!?"
"Ahahaha!"
"That could be effective... You are so funny, Mirei."
"Hihi. You could try this on a date. Non-verbal flirtings are very useful!"
"You may have kiss and hug Yu-yu a lot, right. Well, I don't mean anything too risque, but you and him are so lovey-dovey that I do think it's true."
"Ping-pong! 100 points for Urara! Everytime either of us can't utter anything, we would do that to show our love."
"Your relationship is so beautiful to listen and look at." Urara compliments.

The two continue with their day out, giggling over one another as they share more about their love stories.
