I realize that I now have to raise an army from seemingly out of nowhere and make it seem legit. Because the Chaps legion has a whole.. I'm not sure, but they have a lot of ridiculously overpowered things in their arsenal. I'd have to look into that a bit later, right now I had to focus on schooling the diamonds again.
By schooling I mean making Citrus start showing them better ways to fight with weapons. Since I'd just happen to have filled Citrus's mind with a vast amount of knowledge on weapons and different fighting styles, it was reasonable for her to help them out. Or at least at my insistence.
It was honestly pretty cool seeing her doing a 1v4 against the diamonds in person, and even funnier that they weren't really able to keep up with her. Even with the advantage Yellow had over everyone else with the ability I taught her, it seemed that Citrus was proving her point that it was a "cheap trick" since she was able to predict each location that she teleported to. But despite that fact, I did notice that Yellow and Blue were actually the ones putting in their best efforts.
Everytime they clashed blades it seemed that Pink and White were always the first two to be pushed away, despite the latter of the two showing that she was great with getting up and personal with someone in a fight, she was completely knocked out of the fight by a devastating punch. And yet they never really seemed to be that good at fighting in general, in the show at least. White hid behind her powers and Pink was just.. something. A bit of a two way mirror if that makes sense.
The clashing of blades being deflected and parried against Citrus's spear kept echoing around the room as I watched with growing intrigue, a nice feeling welling up in my chest as I watched the at some point, fictional fight happening right in front of me.
I ducked underneath a defeated Blue as she flew over me and crashed onto the ground, coming to a stop just a few feet away from me. A groan of pain was let out of her as she pushed herself up with her hands. I afforded a nod of approval towards Citrus as she ducked underneath a swipe from Yellow's blade and punched her in the chest, though to her credit she was able to take the hit and swung downwards with her large blade. But Citrus was faster and flipped backwards to gain distance from Yellow as her swords crashed into the ground, actually sending pieces of tile up into the air as she charged her once again. I made sure to take a snapshot of the two of them charging towards each other and clashed blades once again, making sure to save it in a mental filing cabinet so I can hang it up later.
Though I turned away from the fight and walked over to Blue to see how she was doing, kneeling down next to her downed formed as she shook her head and glanced up at me. Her display of pain forming into a small smile as she greeted me as best as she could "Hello, Black." Before pushing herself up with her elbows with visible struggle.
"Hi Blue" I said with a small smile, flicking my hand upwards and lifting her up into the air with a small gust of wind, she let out a surprised noise before stumbling onto her feet. The scythe that was discarded as soon as she hit the ground floated into the air and flew over to where she was standing, her hand outstretching and grasping around the handle as I let the magical grasp on it dissipate. "Having fun?" I said with amusement. Turning once again just in time to witness Pink diamond dropping down from out of nowhere and just barely missing Citrus as she glanced upwards and rolled the side.
White was quick to follow with an attack of her own as she darted across the room and swung out her claymore in a wide arch, her determined grinned turning into her teeth clenching against each other as Citrus blocked with her spear. The two stood in a struggle before Citrus shot out her foot and hit White square in the chest, causing her to recoil backwards in pain, giving time for her to parry a downward slice from Pink again. The latter of the two letting out an audible noise of disappointment as she was pushed away once again.
"Seems like they are" I said. Turning back to look up at Blue as she came to stand next to me, her scythe held loosely in her arms as she casted her gaze across the other gems that were currently locked in combat. She didn't outwardly show anything, but I could definitely see that she was tired. Which I couldn't blame her for. I've had them fighting ever since I went to go Yellow how to teleport, making the latter join in the session that Citrus had begun when we did get back.
I made sure to leave out the part of a possible large scale space war that might be happening in the near future. I had to make things go a few specific ways before I could settle the diamonds into being actually battle ready, and this training exercise was one of the many ways I was trying to work with them. I didn't have much trouble with Citrus seeing as I technically cheated in some of her abilities and ways of thinking things out, but still, I was one hundred percent sure that she would be ready. Just need some more time with the others.
But anyways, back to Blue. The diamond that looked depressed 24/7 and was ironically given the powers to make people cry just by being in her presence when she exerts some of her aura onto them. Which was an interesting power.
Now that I think about it, what kind of powers did she actually have? I literally know none of the abilities that these guys posses off hand, mainly the ones that were really present in the show. Like White diamond being able to control every single gem in existence, but I took away that unsettling power. For now at least, I didn't need her accidentally taking control of the other diamonds and being clueless and or getting any ideas.
"Hm.." I hummed to myself. A hand being pressed against my chin as I continued thinking. Shrugging off that small feeling of how I was completely forgetting something at the moment washing over me, I continued to purse my lips an- ah fuck!
I snapped and everything froze again. An exasperated sigh was let out of my mouth as I didn't bother looking at the frozen forms of the diamonds and instead turned my gaze back up to the stars. Squinting a bit so that my view extended beyond what the normal naked eye could see. I looked around for a bit before immediately landing on the barely visible outline of something hidden beyond a chunk of floating rock.
I facepalmed this time before snapping once again and finding myself staring directly at the bridge of the now exposed Chaos Legion ship, it wasn't one of the largest ones that I saw hovering over Plague Planet. But it was decently sized. I couldn't really recognize the insignia that I could see plastered on one of the sides of the ship. But with the actual people inside of the bridge of the ship sporting the same exact armor that a space marine would wear, only there was a bit of a difference to what I think a space marine looked like.
First off their armor was pink, maybe some type of purple, I wasn't even sure. Neither did I really care. The thing that stuck out the most to me was how absolutely disgusting some of the ones that didn't have helmets and pieces of armors covering their gross looking faces.
"Talk about a face only a mother could love.." I muttered to myself as I circled around the ship. Getting a better look of the whole thing before deciding whether or not I would just vaporize this thing out of existence or teleport it back to plague planet in a state of disrepair.
"Maybe I'll.." I phased into the interior of the ship and plopped my feet down onto the inside of the bridge. Looking around at all the pretty advanced ship trinkets and whistles. I personally didn't really get how this all worked to even fly a ship, so I simply turned my attention back towards the rest of the people inhabiting the ship. Though referring to them as people was a stretch, these dudes could pass as humanoid aliens at best.
Then an idea sprung up in my head as I realize what exactly I could do. Why not just steal this ship and its armor and then copy the designs of ships and armor for when we inevitably go against the Chaos Legions full army.
"Great. Now, to get rid of these guys.." I raised up a hand and snapped my fingers. Tapping into the endless pool of powers that I had in my hands to simply dematerialize the inhabitants of the armor, leaving the empty sets of armor and weapons standing frozen in place with nothing keeping them held up. Before I snapped again and made it so that all of the weapons and armor were all suddenly stacked into a giant pile that lay at my feet.
Then I turned around and waved my hand, completely erasing any chance of them having sent messages to the fleet about this section of the galaxy and their presence in its entirety, and immediately felt a sense of relief when I did so. Since I didn't mention it before, I'll say it so it's known. The aura that these guys emit is really something that you wouldn't want to face if you weren't someone like me, this Khorne? Slaneesh? whatever chaos Gods these guys are working for are really something.
It was also a benefit that it felt like I was using Raid on a cockroach when I erased their presence from here.
Then for safe measure I would construct a whole wall around Plague planet to make sure that none of them got any farther than where they are at the moment.
"Righty then, time to hide this bad boy back on Homeworld and act like none of this ever happened." I said with a chuckle before teleporting everything to one of the empty sections of the planets surface and teleporting myself back in place next to Blue.
I took a moment to settle myself before snapping my fingers once again and letting time resume itself as it was a good few moments ago before that distraction.
"So Blue, you wanna learn something cool?" I said out of the Blue while turning to face her again. Causing her to perk up and turn to look down at me, her head tilted and she questioned me "what is it?" with her soft spoken and somewhat calm voice. But I could still sense the little excitement that she was feeling.
"Take my hand" I said while lifting hand up for her to grab onto.
Time to teach Blue how to water bend.
