In the Year X792. Current location, the Imperial Capital of Fiore; Crocus.
It has been almost a year after Fairy Tail's battle against Tartaros; the battle left scars that required time to heal but that was granted for all as it was a time of peace for the citizens of Fiore.
Loud screaming cheers are heard in the kingdom because at the mountains west of Mercurius. There is located the Grand Magic Games Stadium; the Domus Flau as today is currently the 5th day of the annually held tournament that is held to determine which mage guild is the number one amongst all.
Currently; it is a battle royal between many wizards gathered at the field. The theme is teamwork, and the last team standing is the winner. Simple and overall deadly for groups who are unprepared.
"hello all! I am your usual GMG's emcee; Chapati Lola!" the MC exclaimed all excitedly. "we are so excited to finally see this last battle for the final day! Fiore's Number ONE guild is about to be decided in this free for all brawl!" he then turns to his guest commentator; Yajima. "and let's not forget our commentator and owner of 8island; Yajima-san!"
"thank you all!" Yajima replies with a smile.
"and not only Yajima-san, but we also have Mato-kun for our guest on this last day!" Chapati added in as the pumpkin headed mascot cheers while waving his hands around.
"thank you-kabo~!" Mato cheered. "this is such a grand day of for the GMG, isn't it!?"
"indeed it is!" Chapati stated as the three looks at the arena field where dust flew into the air followed by explosions of magic power. "the theme is a big team match like last year! But this time there is a time limit of an hour! Just look at how every guild is going for the big win!"
On the field there is Twilight Ogre, Sabertooth, Blue Pegasus, Lamia Scale, Quatro Cerberus, and last not but not least two Fairy Tail teams.
"get them!" Thiabault, the leader of Team Twilight Ogre leads the attack against the other guild members as they planned to win the GMG. "this time! This time it is our guild's time to shine at the number one guild!"
"ooohh!" the man's team members cheered as they all go on the attack with their magic power readied.
BANG! KA-POW! BOOM! KA-POW!
In matter of seconds, Team Twilight Ogre were beaten to a pulp by the many guilds gathered as they never stood a chance.
"eat this!" Gajeel; the Iron Dragon Slayer is present as Fairy Tail B Team member. The mage jumping into the air before unleashing a rain of Iron Logs at the field; trying to hit many other guilds in one go.
"like that will work!" Lyon exclaimed as he got into a stance and uses his Ice Maker Magic to create a huge ice shield that gets barraged with Gajeel's Iron Logs. "and then!" he did several finger gestures as his shield shatters into thick pile of snow that went straight for the Iron Dragon Slayer. "Snow Blizzard!"
"guaaah!" Gajeel gets washed away from the blizzard as he crashed to the field.
Lyon smirks before he sensed something behind that made him turn and quickly ducks to dodge a palm strike from Bacchus who is grinning like a mad man.
"not bad!" the Drunken Hawk commented.
"I thought it was bad for a martial artist to attack someone from the back?" Lyon asks with a smirk before he and Bacchus began to trade blows. "but I guess that doesn't apply to a drunk man like you, huh!?"
"hell yeah!" Bacchus replies. "come on!" he soon ducks down and sends a powerful palm strike under Lyon's chin that made the Ice Maker Wizard fly up. "My soul is trembling!"
"let's go, my disciples!" Ichiya exclaims as he along with his team are just doing poses. "with our powerful perfume of beauty and justice! We will win this battle with grace and honor!"
"yes, Master Ichiya!" the Trimens and Jenny cheered for Ichiya in unison.
"Spider Web!" "Cat Restraining Tube!" Arana and Millianna appears on the scene as the two fired a combination of their magic that instantly tangles and wraps around Blue Pegasus team in an instant.
"wha!? This is!?" Ichiya looks in shock as his face gets tangled in the sticky web and rope like tube; the plump and short man struggling while getting smooshed together by his teammates. "that is underhanded from you ladies! Men!"
"say what you want!" Arana replied with a smile as she looks to the side and smirks a bit. "Beth!"
"gotcha!" Beth came as she slams both hands to the ground. "Carrot Missile!"
The ground explodes as large carrots came flying out and flew straight at the tangled up Blue Pegasus team.
"MEN~!" Ichiya screams with his team as they get engulfed in a big explosion.
"don't mess with mermaids!" Risley called out with a grin before she quickly ducks and sends a kick at Warcry who tried to attack her from the back. "and don't mess with plump girls too!"
"Risley!" Millianna looks at her teammate with Arana and Beth; the three were about to go and help when they got intercepted by Elfman, Mira, and Lisanna; the three siblings are with Fairy Tail B team. "wha!?"
"going somewhere?" Mira asks with a smirk as she cracks her knuckles while glaring down at Beth who trembles in fear.
"if you're a man, come and face me!" Elfman shouted as he chases after Arana.
"I'm a woman, you know!" Arana cries as she runs away from Elfman while constantly firing sticky webs at him.
"looks like it's just you and me!" Lisanna smirks as she had transformed into her Take Over; Cat Soul. The youngest facing against Millianna in a possible cat girl vs cat girl fight.
"seems so!" Millianna grins before she becomes angry and pointed a finger at Lisanna. "still! It doesn't give you the right to become a cat! That's not fair! You're making our characters just mix up together, don't you know!?"
"just how!?" Lisanna retorted.
Rather than a battle of a tournament, the utter chaos that has spread amongst the field is like an all out brawl that is usual for the people of Fairy Tail.
"will this tournament be even alright?" Lucy asks as she is with Wendy; both representative of Fairy Tail A team. The blonde sweatdrops as she sees how much everyone is just fighting with no sense of stopping. "an all out team battle in such a field ain't a good thing, right?"
"yes…I think so?" Wendy replies all awkwardly.
Before they could continue their conversation, both quickly jumped away as a blast of water followed with a vortex of black wind came and nearly hit them.
Lucy and Wendy got to each other's side as they see Yukino and Sherria appearing.
"Yukino!" "Sherria!?" the two sees their friend/ guild rival appearing.
"although it is improper for me to be attacking so underhandedly to you, Lucy-sama." Yukino spoke with a smile as she had summoned Pisces who are in their human form. She raise their key and swings it forward. "but for Sabertooth's sake, I shall defeat you!"
"oh come on!" Lucy cries out.
"same goes for me!" Sherria stated with a big smile while gathering wind around her hands. The Sky God Slayer facing Wendy. "last year, our duel was a draw! Let's finally settle things, Wendy!"
"w-well…I guess we should?" Wendy replies all awkwardly at first before she smiles and prepares herself. "let's do this, Sherria!"
"you too, Wendy!?" Lucy exclaims.
At another side, there is Erza who is with Fairy Tail A team. The Scarlet Knight swings her swords in a furry against Bacchus who just uses his fast palm strikes to deflect and counter.
"not bad, Erza!" Bacchus exclaims as he ducks a sword strike before coming in with a powerful hand thrust that destroyed the right shoulder parts of Erza's armor. "but not good enough!"
Erza jumps back as she got into a stance while facing Bacchus.
"your hand strikes are getting stronger, Bacchus. They were strong enough to damage my armor" Erza spoke with a smile before she stood up straight and her armor shines in a golden light and gets replaced by her Robe of Yuen. The scarlet haired mage now wields a long naginata while going into a battle stance. "let's see if that is the same with my Robe of Yuen?"
"hehehehe! Always wanted to see who gets to win if it's you against me like the good old days, Erza!" Bacchus grins wildly as he goes into his Drunken Hawk Stance. "my soul is just trem- aaahhhh!" the Quatro Cerberus mage gets blasted away as Erza looks in surprise to see Minerva appearing.
"Minerva?" Erza looks at the Sabertooth mage who has been reformed after her defection to Tartaros last year.
"been a while since we last battle, right Erza?" Minerva asks as she had glowing sphere like orbs appearing on both of her hands. "to amend my impulsive battle during Tartaros, let us fight to the best we can for this year."
Erza looks at Minerva for a moment before she smiles and just readied herself.
"I wouldn't have said it better myself." Erza replies.
Minerva smiles back as she stares at her foe for a quick moment before both lung in and clash their mettle.
This final match of the day was on heat for every guild as they all went all out to take one another out of the tournament.
Nighttime, in Mercurius.
As tradition held by the King; a celebration party is held for the winner of X792 GMG as it is rightfully won by Fairy Tail A Team.
"Endless Congratulation for Fairy Tail A Team! Give them a big round of applause-kabo~!" Toma exclaimed as he had handed the GMG trophy to Erza who held it up high. The scarlet knight with her teammates that is herself, Lucy, Wendy, Cana, and Charla.
All the other guilds invited to the party just clapped their hands as they applauded the winning team.
"damnit! Damnit!" Gajeel shouted as he is frustrated that his team that consists of him, Mira, Elfman, Lisanna, and Lily didn't win the tournament. "We were so close! So close!"
"come on, Gajeel. No need to sulk." Levy came as she patted Gajeel's back a few times. "there is always next year, you know?"
"I can't wait for another year!" Gajeel shouted. "I wanted to beat Titania!"
"Get in line, Gajeel." Mira told the Iron Dragon Slayer. The Majin having her arms crossed under her chest. "The spot for beating up redhead first is reserved by me."
"there she go again…" Lisanna spoke while sighing.
"Nee-chan is the man!" Elfman roared before getting slapped on the head by Evergreen who came into the scene.
"shut up! You're so noisy!" Evergreen shouted.
"there goes with their old lover's spat, huh?" Freed asked while Bickslow nods with a teasing grin; the two are nearby and just watching the usual shenanigans between Evegreen and Elfman.
"They like each other~!" Bickslow slurred with his tongue out.
"nya~! Er-chan's team is awesome~!" Millianna cries out as she went and hugs Erza while rubbing their cheeks together. "you guys are so awesome~!" she then pouts a bit. "I mean, it sucks that my team didn't win this year, but.." she cheers up and nuzzles close to her best friend once again. "knowing that Er-chan's team is the winner is A-OK for me~!"
"Thanks, Millianna." Erza replied with a smile.
"I thought we were going to lose since we lack our big guns." Lucy sighs as their team was actually a mix of what is left of their guild that formed two teams like last year.
"yes…" Wendy nods with an awkward smile. "we don't have Natsu-san, Gray-san, Juvia-san, and Laxus-san available after all.."
Over the year, after Tartaros battle. There has been a few guild members who have been rather absent from the guild as noticeable those mentioned four. Laxus had gone off to do some solitary training without the Raijinshuu, Gray and Juvia are off on a quest and didn't get to participate for the GMG, and lastly, Natsu is still currently rehabilitating himself at Lingyue with Ikaruga; the man still recovering after the battle against the Demons of Zeref who had nearly erased all magic from Ishgar.
"well, it is to be expected considering their situation." Charla spoke, the White Exceed not being in her usual cat like self as she had become a young girl in the same age as Wendy but she spots her usual cat ears and tail that sticks out from her highschool girl like attire. She shakes her head and sighs. "Laxus and Natsu are one thing, but Juvia just went off to follow after Gray. She is getting irresponsible over the year."
"Charla!" Wendy cries out, not wanting Charla to say bad things about their Water Mage.
"well, matters of Juvia and the others joining in or not doesn't matter!" Cana exclaimed with a grin as she soon drank the whole bottle of highly expensive wine. "our guild is number one!"
The celebratory party goes on for all as it is a time to forget about their rivalry during the GMG and just enjoy the festive situation.
In one area, Erza is having a friendly chat with Minerva, Mira, and Millianna.
"it is such a pity that we could not settle our duel with Kagura like last year." Minerva spoke as she twirls a glass of wine in her grasp. "I wished to amend our last duel with one that is more honorable."
"it can't be helped." Mira stated. "you heard what Millianna said, right? Kagura is off training somewhere and hasn't been back for a while."
"I still wonder what she is even training?" Erza asks all curious as she looks at Millianna. "are you sure you don't know, Millianna?"
"nope, not a clue." The cat girl replied while shaking her head. She then raise her hands while shrugging her shoulders. "I get letters from her from time to time, but she never reply if I ask on where she is." She then points a finger up. "that's why me and the others think that she is training secretly in solitary."
"Well, that girl is the type to become stronger if she has great focus on her determination." Minerva spoke, knowing how strong Kagura is during last year GMG and during the Tartaros battle. "solitary training is something to be expected of her."
"indeed." Erza nods in agreement.
Before the group could continue to converse, they heard some racket nearby as they see a brawl occurring between Gajeel, Sting, Rogue, Elfman, Bickslow, Ichiya, and Bacchus.
"Those lots!" Erza growls as she goes off to stop the fight.
"Why do I get a bad feeling about this?" Millianna asks with a finger to her chin. She with Mira and Minerva looks at Erza trying to stop the fight, only to join it.
"there she goes." Mira spoke before sighing. "she's still the same bratty red head like she always is."
Before long, a cream pie flew and made a big splat onto Mira's face.
"Who the fricking hell threw this pie?!" Mira shouted angrily while her face is covered in the cream.
As the celebration of the GMG goes on, it became a big brawl made by the many guilds who came for it.
Time passes on as it is now 5 days after the GMG and the celebratory party is over.
At Magnolia and in Fairy Tail guild; the number one guild just continues to be the rowdiest and craziest guild in the entire continent.
"We are number one~!" Vijeeter exclaimed as he, Nab, Max, and Warren did a pose together. "Number one~!"
"man, winning the GMG again after last year sure is something." Alzack said with a smile as Bisca who is standing beside him nods.
"Gaining more popularity and money that will please Master is like killing two birds with one stone." Bisca spoke with a smile.
"We're number 1!" Asuka cries out in a cheer as she is cheering along with Vijeeter and the others.
"let's drink till we drop!" Cana exclaims while carrying a big barrel of beer in her arms.
"stop it! we're going to run out just so early in the day!" Macao exclaimed to the card mage.
"Like that will stop her after so many years?" Wakaba told his pal while just smoking his usual cigar.
"next year! Next year I'll show everyone just how a man I am!" Elfman roared while running around and carrying Lisanna and Evergreen on his shoulders; both blush but the proclaimed Fairy of Fairy Tail is constantly slapping her fan against the big man's head.
"ain't gonna stop her, Mira?" Kinana asks Mira who is just cleaning up some mugs.
"too tired to do so." Mirajane replied while shaking her head before she smirks a bit. "and besides…"
KA-POW! BANG! KA-POW!
Loud knocks are heard around the guild as Erza appears and quiet down the ruckus by knocking the rowdy ones in an instant.
"shut up! It's so annoying that I have to silence you all so early in the morning!" Erza exclaimed all angrily. She raises her fist that is shaking in fury. "do you all need to be punished with my fists!?"
"n-no…" the knocked out groups spoke out in pain as they didn't want to get another serving of the Scarlet Knight's fists.
"see? I let redhead take care of the annoyance while I can relax with my usual work." Mira said to Kinana who smiles and laughs awkwardly.
"you lot are such an annoyance!" Erza exclaimed as she huffs while walking off. "Master is working hard to help the Council and you all wish to make such a ruckus for him!?"
'you're the one making more of a ruckus though…' everyone thought in unison.
Before long, everyone hears a cheerful squeal coming from the front door as many nearby turns to see Haruka running in followed by her twin brother; Haruo.
"I'm first!" Haruka cheered. "I win!"
"no fair! You got a head start! No fair!" Haruo exclaimed. "this doesn't count!"
The twins began to ramble together while Levy with Jet and Droy came to the guild, following after the two.
"another race back to the guild?" Reedus asks Levy while just walking by carrying a painted canvas.
"yeah." Levy sighs while shaking her head. She looks at the twins and smiles. "but to be fair, it started when they began to run for the guild."
After a year, Haruka and Haruo has slowly been making progress as their debut as Fairy Tail's mage. Both worked hard as they would go off on jobs with some of the guilds who look after them while their parents and youngest brother are at Lingyue.
"I got in first! I win! So no complaining!" Haruka exclaimed before sticking out her tongue at Haruo.
"you were the one who suddenly said that it was a race! You're just a cheater!" Haruo exclaimed while pointing a finger at his twin sister. "if we had decided before we run then you can win! This doesn't count!"
The twins began to bicker as it is the usual shenanigans for the guild after their parents left for Lingyue but at some time, any of the two or both would come for a short visit. Yet now, they are being cared for and looked after by their guild.
"come on, you two. No more bickering." Lucy came as she went and stops the twins from bickering anymore. "whether or not you two had a race, it was clear that Haruka came in first."
"yay!" "no way!" the twins replied in unison.
"she cheated! She suddenly run and said that it was a race to the guild!" Haruo pointed at Haruka. "there's no way that it was a fair race if she just made it up all a sudden!"
"nope! We had that race just a few miles from the guild! It was fair!" Haruka retorted.
The bickering comes back for the twins as they bickered on their so called race and the winner being fair or a cheat.
"there they go again…" Mira spoke while placing a cleaned mug to the side. She glance to the side to look at Erza who came and sit by the bar. "ain't gonna stop them like you always do, redhead?"
"if I intervened, they will begin to bicker with me." Erza stated as she sighs tiredly. "I plan to avoid such confrontation and leave it to Lucy."
"Spoilsport." Mira said as she looks at Lucy who is doing her best to separate Haruka and Haruo from continuing their bickering and possibly to prevent a fight between the twins.
"come on, you two! No more bickering!" Lucy cried out in frustration as she pushes Haruka and Haruo away from each other, both just shouting at the other for being a cheater or a sore loser.
"She started it!" "no! he did!" both exclaimed in unison as Lucy is in the predicament of whether she should side with one side or not, or just to try and find a solution to end the problem.
"Haruka, Haruo, no more bickering." A voice called out to the twins as a figure came into the guild.
The twins with Lucy and a few others look at the front opened door of the guild as they see Ryujima coming in. the previous Emperor of Lingyue walking in while being accompanied by Akari and Yamika; both Generals of Lingyue standing a few feet back from their previous Emperor.
"grandpa!" Haruka and Haruo cried out as they ran to their grandfather and got into a big hug with him.
"Ryujima-san!?" Lucy looks in surprise at the man as it is a rare visit for the guild to have the previous Lingyue Emperor come to their guild. "w-what brings you here?"
"just a visit for my grandchildren." Ryujima replies with a smile while rustling his grandchildren's heads. "it has been a while since I have seen them after all."
True to his words, it has almost been an entire year for Ryujima or anyone of Lingyue to come and visit Fairy Tail. The only one who has been making regular visits would be Daichi; the Earth General who would give some news to the twins about their parents or send some letters that they had written for them.
"also, care to tell what my grandchildren were bickering?" Ryujima asks while seeing how Haruka and Haruo are glaring at each other in a rival like sense.
"They had a race that Haruka made up too fast and Haruo is angry that she got a head start and stuff." Levy answered the grandfather while she and her team are sitting at a table nearby.
"She made it up and said that the loser has to do the dishes!" Haruo exclaimed while pointing at Haruka. "it wasn't fair that she suddenly made it up and she got a head start!" he then began to tug his grandfather's attire. "right!? She cheated, right!? Right, Grandpa!?"
"no fair! You're just being a sore loser, Haruo!" Haruka retorted while slapping away Haruo's finger that is pointing at her. "I started the race nearly at the town's entrance! I didn't cheat! I ran as fast as I could! it's not my fault I'm so fast and you're so slow!" she then points a finger at her twin brother. "face it! you're getting slow!"
"what did you say!?" Haruo shouted.
Both started to glare angrily at each other while fuming mad.
"alright there, that is enough!" Ryujima spoke out while knocking the twin's heads. "no more scuffle between siblings!"
"but she/he started it!" The twins exclaimed while pointing at each other and holding a hand to their knocked heads.
"It doesn't matter who started it." Ryujima stated as he points at Haruka. "you cannot just make up races or competitions to your brother so suddenly, Haruka. That is unfair." He then turns towards Haruo. "and you should not bicker with your sister, Haruo. If it was something you found unfair; then you should say that it was unfair and asks for a more fair competition." He then crosses his arms on his chest. "you two are possible heirs to Lingyue's Emperorship, it is time you two to be mature after a year of being Fairy Tail's mage."
"y-yes…" Haruka and Haruo pout while looking down.
"just like Natsu in a way, huh?" Cana asks as she sees how Ryujima scolds his grandchildren in the way that Natsu would do. A bit similar yet different in a way.
"he's definitely Natsu's father-in-law." Lisanna giggles a bit.
After scolding his grandchildren, Ryujima stands up and looks around before facing Lucy.
"pardon, but is your Master; Makarov Dreyar present in your guild at the moment?" Ryujima asks as Lucy made a noise before shaking her head. "he is not?"
"Master is currently at the Council for his usual meeting with the other Wizard Saints." Lucy replied while holding a hand up and waving to the side. "something important came up and he left early this morning."
"I see.." Ryujima nods before he looks down and kneels while taking out two letters that he presents to Haruka and Haruo. "here, these are from your parents. Though they cannot arrive personally; they are currently busy in their own way." He smiles a bit sadly. "I hope you two can understand."
"is Dad still recovering?" Haruka asks as the twins already learned how it takes more than a while for Natsu to recover from his whole battle against Tartaros that left him with his right arm becoming that of a demonic monster claw.
"he is." Ryujima nods before patting Haruka's head. "but be at ease, he is making a steady recovery by the passing day. I know that he will be coming back when he is well."
"what about Mom?" Haruo asks, their mother left with their father to Lingyue to help him recover. "how come she didn't come with you, Grandpa?"
"you know better than your mother needs to be with your father in other to help him recover right?" Ryujima told his grandson. "just like in the old saying of Lingyue, 'through hard times can be passed when husband and wife are together." He rustles his hair a bit. "Ikaruga is helping your father get better and it's the main reason she cannot come to check on you. Don't forget that."
"then how about we go and visit them instead?" Haruka asks with a smile. "I mean, we can help with Ikki, right?"
"appreciate your offer but no, Haruka." Ryujima shakes his head. "I heard from Natsu and he told me to not let either of you come and visit."
"eh? Why?" Haruo asks all confused.
"he told me that the two want to be mages of Fairy Tail and they need to be independent," Ryujima stated while waving his hands out. "I mean, the two of you want to be mages, right? Should you be so dependent on your parents?" he then raise his right hand and forms a hard fist. "as descendants of Lingyue first Empress; Kaguya, you two must show determination in what you wish to be. Right?"
Haruka and Haruo looks at their grandfather for a moment as Ryujima ruffles their hair for a moment.
"don't worry. You will be able to go and visit them when they deemed that it is time." Ryujima spoke with a big smile. "I mean, don't you wish to surprise them with how strong you can become on your own?"
The twins thought about it and they soon smile and nodded.
"that's the way." Ryujima spoke with a nod before he turns when Akari came and whispers some words to him. "I know." he turns and smiles at his grandkids before turning to look at Lucy. "please take care of them. I need to go and visit the council for the peace treaty between our two continents."
"yes, take care." Lucy nods as Ryujima soon left the guild with Yamika and Akari at his side.
"seems that we are going to get busy with how determined Haruka and Haruo are becoming." Lisanna spoke, seeing how pumped up Haruka and Haruo are looking.
"they're the man!" Elfman exclaimed with a big grin.
"Haruka is a girl, dolt." Evergreen retorted.
"I can already tell that they're going to ask us to come with them on a big quest later on." Mira spoke with a smiling sigh as she glance and smirks at Erza. "what do you say, redhead? Each of us take a twin and see who can help them finish the big quest?" the majin expected a retort of a comeback from her rival, but she didn't get to hear it at all. "hey, redhead?"
Mira looks at Erza who is looking at the front door of the guild while having a skeptical look.
"what's wrong with you?" Mira asks.
"I think…" Erza spoke before she close her eyes and shakes her head. "no, it's nothing."
"what got into you?" Mira spoke while raising an eyebrow. "you have that look that you make when you think of something suspicious."
"it's not suspicious. Rather…" Erza said as she turns around on her seat. "it's just mere curiosity."
"is it?" Mira asks.
Meanwhile at the New Council of Era.
In the large building that hosts the council of Fiore's magic world, there is a meeting which is held by ten people who have gathered and sat by a large round table that has papers scattered on its surface. Duly to be noted is the fact that they are members of the Wizard Saints.
From the Wizard Saints' side there is Makarov; the occasional supporter from Fairy Tail. There is also Jura Neekis; the Iron Rock who had joined the Council and left his guild.
"this is truly grave news." Jura spoke as he is reading some reports that had come to the Council.
"indeed." Makarov nods as he has his arms crossed while his eyes are on the table that is looking at some spread out papers. "truly, it is unpredictable that Natsu could hold out this long."
"goes to show that he is someone willing to step into the fire without care for himself." A voice spoke as it belongs to Warrod Sequeen; the Fourth Ranked Wizard Saint. The three man has his hands folded on the table while his eyes are closed. "his recklessness is that of a Fairy Tail Wizard, isn't it?"
"give me a break, old man Warrod." A voice retorted at Warrod as sitting beside the three-man is a small grumpy looking old man who is actually Wolfheim; the Third Ranked Wizard Saint. "better you begin to go serious if we want to keep up the peace of Ishgar!"
"Wolfheim-sama, I understand where you are going." Jura spoke with a hand raised and waved to the side. "But we must face the facts that this peace was brought to us by Natsu Daimou of Fairy Tail. He is the only person willingly doing so much sacrifice to protect this land we call home."
"then let us face the facts that we need a way to ensure that this peace continues!" Wolfheim retorted while slamming a hand to the table. "it has only been a year of peace! You can't call that peace at all! it's the calm before the storm, damnit!"
"enough." Another voice spoke as it is another Wizard Saint going by the name of Drakulos Hyberion; the Second Ranked Wizard Saint. "it is true that what Wolfheim spoken of the current peace is just the calm before the arriving storm." He close his eyes and slowly opens them after a minute. "but let us not forget the fact that it has yet to arrive thanks to the efforts of Natsu Daimou. We should be grateful for his actions."
Makarov and Jura nods while Warrod close his eyes and Wolfheim huffs a bit.
"we have much to discuss." Drakulos spoke as he looks at the other members around the table who are Yajima, Oldmine, Oba-babasama, Bob, and lastly Sting. "invited Guild Masters, we are thankful for you to come to this meeting like always. Do you have anything to be shared about the situation in the reports?"
"I can only say that this is perplexing." Yajima spoke as he sat while sighing a bit. "peace brought by one who had done nothing but sacrificing his entire existence" he shakes his head. "this is not something I wish to indulge in."
"I understand, Yajima." Makarov said with a nod to his old friend before he looks down and frowns a bit. "I too don't wish for such a thing."
"is this report really true though?" Bob spoke with a worried face. "I mean, it's only been half a year since their advance, right? Natsu-kun has been doing his best to stop them from coming to our land and…"
"The fact that the defenses of Fiore is lowering is troubling a bit…" Sting whispers while looking at a few papers that he held up near his face. He then looks at Makarov. "Master Makarov, I think it's best if we take action now." He held up a hand and wave it slowly to the side. "perhaps by getting all guilds in Fiore to join force like that time during the dragons' coming."
"I wish I could agree with your proposal, Sting. But I cannot." Makarov replied as he shakes his head. "Natsu asked me to never allow assistance to come from the guilds of Fiore. He wished for this task to be done by himself."
"What level of recklessness and selfishness." Oldmine spoke as he crosses his arms on his chest before he adjusts his hat a bit. "but that is something worthy to be respected considering that he asked for such in the sake of his own homeland, huh?"
"Something to be expected of a Fairy Tail mage, huh?" Bob whispers with a frown.
Makarov looks at the guild masters as he frowns more, the atmosphere in the guild becoming a bit moody in a way before someone came knocking in.
"who is it?" Drakulos spoke as it is a random council worker who came in.
"excuse me, but the previous Emperor of Lingyue; Ryujima-sama and two of the continent's Generals; Yamika-sama and Akari-sama who are his escorts have come seeking an audience with Makarov-sama and the rest." The Council Worker spoke before bowing a bit. "would their request be granted at once?"
"the previous Emperor came for a meeting, huh?" Wolfheim muttered out.
"possibly best if we have some more insights to the topic with Ryujima-dono's audience." Jura spoke as Warrod nods in agreement.
"very well." Drakulos nods before he raise a hand. "escort them into this meeting."
"yes, at once." The council worker spoke before he left and returns in just 5 minutes with Ryujima and the others.
"thank you all for allowing me to come into this meeting." Ryujima spoke as he sat upon a given seat while Akari and Yamika stood a few feet behind the man. "I'm sorry for coming unexpectedly, but I have news regarding of my son in law's actions against the bordering continent."
"what do you have to share?" Makarov asks Ryujima who reaches into his yukata and takes out a rolled up scroll that he unravels on the table.
The meeting of the group continues for nearly 3 hours as they discussed a certain topic that the group only knew to themselves. Words were spoken, opinions were given, and rejections are shouted loudly.
In just half a day, the meeting came to a conclusion when Ryujima rolls up the scroll he had taken out.
"he wishes to continue his tasks against his enemies while not seeking assistance from either Ishgar or Lingyue." Ryujima spoke while placing the scroll back into his yukata. "he had requested me to share that information to you all and ask that you continue to never reveal the information to those of your guild and others."
"is he really serious with this?" Sting asks while looking very frustrated. The White Dragon Slayer having his fists gripped very tight. "that's just too selfish of him!"
"as selfish as he is, that young boy has thought so much to the point that he is doing his best to protect this land." Oldmine spoke while tilting his head a bit. "he should be given an award for such self bravery."
"but I can't help but feel bad for all our kiddies who we have been lying to…" Bob spoke in a whisper.
"this is his request to us, Bob." Oba Babasama said to Bob while looking a bit stern. "for all his bravery in the past 8 years. It is the least we can do to ease his worries over his comrades."
"Macky, is this really what you wish to do?" Yajima looks at Makarov. "is this really what you wish for a member of your own guild?"
"this is not something I wish to have come for anyone, Yajima." Makaro replies while shaking his head as he looks down sadly with a frown. "but he requests that he do such a thing as a father of his family and that is something I cannot reject no matter what."
"a father to his own family, huh?" Warrod spoke with a small smile. "just like Mavis would once say as the mother of her own guild, huh?"
Makarov nods as he looks at the papers around the table, the old man focused on one that shows a black and white photo of the sea that has large stone walls arising at one part of the world.
Somewhere at the ocean, there can be seen the large stone walls as they were nearly about 100 feet tall and each one stood tall and strong, but one stone wall had a large piece of its top nearly destroyed by something on the other side.
At the other side of the stone wall, there can be found wreckage of large black ships as their broken rubble floats upon the water surface. Each of the broken ship parts has one part showing a symbol of some guild or nation.
In one area of the ocean, there is a large rock rubble that came from the stone wall as it remains in the water with a figure standing on its top.
The figure is Natsu who stands while surrounded in crimson red flames that rages around his entire body.
Natsu stood there a bit hunkered, the Dragon Slayer is silent before he slowly stood up straight and his eyes were glowing red while parts of his body has red scales covering his skin but on his demonic right arm there are black markings spreading to his chest and neck.
The Fire Dragon Slayer growls as he looks at the front and sees numerous black ships just sailing straight in his direction; each holding nearly a hundred or more people wearing various attires.
Natsu growls before he roars in rage and the fire around his body grew and forms a burning silhouette of a mighty flaming dragon.
In time, explosions rang out as flames bursts non stop while ships were getting destroyed by the passing minute.
