Hey guys and dolls, I have returned with a new chapter! So last time, Sora and his group engaged in their first pirate battle…. which failed, and Jaune and Ruby were captured again, this time with Will. Will Sora and co get them back? Let's find out!
Sorry that it took so long, I was working a job for a few months and it was tiring, and then I got laid off and found a temp job, and everything has been so….stressful lately, so I deeply apologize for making you wait.

Weiss will think he is a scoundrel and not take a liking to him, Blake…well Blake might find him a bit odd, and Yang would possibly find him to be a blast. I want to put musical numbers in really badly, but then again I might get in trouble with the admins of the site. Hmm, sorta, there were lots of things that are kinda coming together.

Black Pearl
Jaune and Ruby were with Gibbs and the rest of the crew as they were locked in a cage below the ship, the two teens shared another cell with Will and all were standing around as they saw Ragetti and Pintel cleaning up a bit as they were mopping the floor.
"*SQUAWK*" Wind in your sails, wind in your sails." Mr. Cotton's parrot said.
Gibbs gave a cheeky smile and said. " He said you missed a spot." He said cheekily, but that resulted in Pintel aggressively hitting the cage with the wet mop, making them jump a bit and for water to splash all over the place.
As they were all in this together, Jaune was angrily gripping the bars. "Again….we got captured again…" He said in anger.
Ruby, while she was not happy about it either, went over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Jaune, Sora, and the others will rescue us, I know it." She said to him with a small smile. Jaune looked at her and sighed, he just couldn't usually stay mad at her now, could he?
Will looked at them with a small smile. "They love each other." He thought. But then he quickly brushes it aside because he had to know something important. "So, you both knew my father, William Tuner." He said to the two pirates.
This made Pintel look at him. "Ol' Bootstrap Bill. Yea, we knew him. Bootstrap was never too happy with what we did to Jack Sparrow. The mutiny." He then stopped moping and looked around at Will, the teens, Gibbs, and the others. "That's why he sent a piece of the medallion to you, sad that we deserved to be cursed for eternity."
"Guess karma came to bite you right on your asses then!" Jaune snarked at him, making some snicker, and for Pintel to aggressively hit the cage with the mop, splashing nasty water all over the place.
"Laugh all you want lad, but then that statement..and for what he did…it didn't sit too well with Captain Barbossa either."
"Yes!" Ragetti said, joining in on the conversation with a grin. "Not so well at all. Tell them what happened next." He said.
Pintel sighed and glared at him. "I'm the one telling the story here!" He snapped, making Ragetti gulp nervously and back off a bit. Pintel then turned back to face Will. "As punishment, Barbossa had a cannon strapped to Bootstrap's bootstraps." He then sneered a bit at Will, and Jaune and Ruby glared at the pirate. "The last we saw of ol' Bill, was him sinking' into the crushin' black oblivion of Davy Jones's locker." He said with a grin.
But then the grin turned into a slight frown. "Of course, that was before we found out that we needed his blood to end and lift the curse.
"What a case of irony…" Ruby deadpanned.
"I agree, lass." Ragetti said, making the young reaper roll her eyes
Jaune then pressed his face up to the cage. "Just you wait pal, Sora and the others will rescue us, and you're undead asses will be history." He said with anger.
Pintel and Ragetti laughed a bit as the latter then leaned in closer to the cell. "Thank you lucky stars that Barbossa is keeping you alive, boy." He sneered, and this prompted Ruby and Will to grab Jaune and lean him back.
Then they all heard some steps going up to them and saw Barbossa, Luxord, and the others standing there. "Grab them all." Barbossa said. "And make sure to get the kids as well, but leave Sparrow's men down here!" He said as the rest of them snickered a bit.
Ruby glared at them, but inside, she was deeply a bit nervous and terrified at what these men were going to do with them. "Sora…please hurry!" She thought with concern.
Isla De Muerta/Sea
The Interceptor, as well as a few Navy ships, were sailing along the coast to catch up to the Pearl. And thanks to Jack, they knew that they were going exactly back to the cursed island. And at a good time too since it was now nightfall.
In the meantime, Sora had explained what the Heartless were to Norrington and his men, and despite being dumbfounded by this boy's choice of words and description, he would have to make do with it.
"So here's what I'm thinking." Sora said as he was sitting down with his friends, Jack, Norrington, and Elizabeth with him. "If Barbossa really is going to this island, he will want to end the curse, and I bet the entire crew will be inside as well to make sure."
"Doubt it, mate," Jack said to him. "Barbossa is alot of things and unfortunatly for us, stupid isn't one of them. He will definitely have some of his crew as well as those Heartless things guarding the entrance to the island. But he then smirked at Norrington. "Which gives them an advantage." He said.
Norrington however glared at Jack before turning back to Sora. "So what is this plan of yours, boy?" He asked.
Sora smiled. "Simple, some of us stay here and face off against any books that Barbossa sends out, and the rest of us go in, rescue our friends and crewmates, and take down Barbossa."
"Yeah, uh, here's a problem," Donald said. "How the heck can he beat him? He's a literal walking corpse!"
"Exactly!" Ortensia said to him. "Sure we don't have an advantage while not under the moonlight, but if we can get him under the moonlight, then we can expose his skeleton form and we can easily fight him off. Jack, do you know if there are any holes where the moonlight can shine in there?
"There are quite a few of them." Jack said with a shrug of his shoulders.
"And since it is moonlight now, all we have to do is keep the undead pirates at bay as well as the Heartless." Sora explained.
"But how?" Max asked. "I mean they can just put themselves back together!"
Sora then looked up at Max. "Don't worry pal, there's always a way." He said as everybody looked around. "Ok, so Donald, Goofy, and I will go and rescue Ruby, Jaune, and Will. Oswald, you and the others stay here and deal with the Heartless." He said.
Norrington looked at Sora and at Sparrow and weighed, getting everybody's attention. "I will go along with this plan boy, but after this, you are to be captured and tried for piracy." He said with a glare. "Elizabeth, you shall remain here on this ship till it's safe."
But Elizabeth..well…she was not too keen on that idea at all, after all, Will's the one who rescued her, and so now she felt like she had to do the same. "I shall do no such thing! Will save my life, it's only certain that I do the same!" She said, trying to argue, but there was no time for it as Norrington walked away, making her growl slightly.
"Just take it easy Elizabeth," Sora said to her. "You can sneak on board with Jack and us as we make our way to the Island, and then we get Will and the others back." He said with a reassuring smile.
Elizabeth looked to see that Sora was telling the truth in his eyes, it made her sigh a bit and smile. "Thank you." She said,
"Oi!" Jack said as he was getting a rowboat ready. "Are you two going to blab all day? Or are we going to get going!" He said. Elizabeth gave him an angry glare and Sora rolled his eyes.
"C'mon," He said. "Let's not keep him waiting, '' he said as he, Elizabeth, Donald, and Goofy made their way to the boat, luckily avoiding any of the Navy men, and he turned back to the others. "Oswald, you know what to do!"
"You got it!" Oswald said.
"Good luck!" Ortensia called out.
"Make sure you get them back!" Sun said.
"Be careful dad!" Max said as Stitch waved.
"Don't worry Maxie!" Goofy called out as he and the others got on the boat, which dropped and started rowing their way to Isla De Muerta.
Cavern
Meanwhile, all the undead pirates were in the cavern once again and cheering their heads off. Finally they were once again going to do Thai and it was going to get done right! Ruby and Jaune were held by some pirates, with a sword at Jaunes' throat and Ruby having a pistol at her head.
"Alright." Barbossa said as he roughly grabbed Will's arm and bought it over to the large chest, showing the other medallions. "And now! The blood shall be repaid, and free us from this curse forever! Thai time for sure!" He said as the pirates all cheered happily. Barbossa then grabbed a knife and was about to slice open Will's hand, but then was stopped by Luxord.
"Mr. Barbossa, you should possibly know something." he said as he then whispered into Barbossa's ear making the pirate go wide-eyed.
"Oh, so they want to fight eh?" He asked before turning to his men. "Boys! Some Navy men are here! Deal with them at once!" He said. Some of the crew went up for it as they wanted to be rid of the curse, but Barbossa was their captain, and what the captain says, goes, and some Heartless even left as well.
Black Pearl
Sora and the others made one quick pit stop over to the Black Pearl to free the rest of the crew, and hopefully free Jaune and Ruby if they were there of course.
"You lot!" Jack said. "I'm going to go on ahead, catch up with me when you can, I got a plan. Savvy?" He said as he then got the boat and rowed ahead to the entrance of the cave.
Elizabeth growled a bit. "I can't believe he needed his help." She said,
"Well, he knows Barbossa well…so…" Sora said as he shrugged shi shoulders.
"Let's not dilly-dally!" Donald said. "We need to rescue our friends!" He said as the others then made their way towards a large hatch, with what presumably reached the dungeon. Unknown to them, however, some of the undead pirates saw them from the water and a few of them began to climb onboard.
As soon as Sora and the others got down into the brig, Gibbs saw them and smiled. "Mr. Sora! Miss Swann! Aren't you the sight for sore eyes!" He said with a grin.
Sora then used his keyblade to open up the lock and free the others, making them all cheer a bit and to thank Sora.
"Not bad boy, not bad at all." Annamaria said as she ruffled the teen's hair a bit.
"Thanks, but where's Ruby and Jaune?"
"And Will too?" Elizabeth said.
Gibbs sighed. "They took them inside the island."
"Alright then, we got to rescue them." He said as they were all about to leave, but then Goofy noticed that Gibbs and the others were just staring at them.
"Gwarsh guys, why aren't ya moving?" He asked, making Sora and the others stop and turn around as well to look.
"Well," Gibbs said. "We must stick to the Code." He said, with the others nodding their heads.
"What?" Sora asked. "Oh come on! This is not the time for rules, you know?" He said.
"Exactly!" Elizabeth said, not getting in on the conversation. "Besides, they're more like guidelines anyway, right?" She asked.
The crew then began to ponder their words and thought it over. Was it true? Was the Code merely guidelines? Gibbs began to ponder but before he could answer.
"GUYS WE HAVE A SITUATION!" Donald called out as Sora and the others looked up. Sora and the others nodded, knowing that it was either undead pirates or Heartless and they went up, but now before Sora turned around to face them
"Please just think it over." He said to them as he ran up the deck. When he did, he saw that they were surrounded by undead pirates, all of them brandishing swords, knives, and other types of weaponry.
"Alright kiddies." Mr. Twig said as he brandished his knife. "Care for a little dance?"
Sora glared as he got his keyblade out and the others did as well, but before anything could happen though, Gibbs, Anamaria, and the rest of the crew stepped right in, much to Sora's shock.
"You go help the captain. We'll handle these bastards." Anamaria said as she had her sword pointing at the crew, much to their anger.
Sora and the others looked at Gibbs and nodded their heads. "Alright guys, let's go!" Sora said as the others then began to get into a small boat at the bottom and began to row on out of there.
Caverns
Sora and his group finally made it to the cave, and when they both got to the cavern, they were immensely shocked at the large amounts of treasure inside, Donald especially was shocked as his eyes turned into money signs.
Sora then looked to see Jaune and Ruby and gasped. "Ruby, Jaune!" He thought with a Nero us look. He then looked at Donald and his nervousness was sent away for a moment and turned to annoyance. "Donald!" Sora exclaimed, making the duck shake the feelings off. "We aren't here to get money, we need to rescue Jaune and Ruby! Donald sheepishly blushed at that, and as before they were going to act out, they heard Jack's voice.
"Me? Well, I'm dishonest." He said as he put an idol down. "And a dishonest man you can trust to be dishonest. But the honest ones however are the ones you have to watch out for." He said as he got close to one pirate whose back was to him. He then took a glance at Sora and co. "Because you never know…when they're going to do something incredibly stupid."
As he said that, he immediately pulled out a sword from the pirates back and quickly kicked him into the water. "Sora, now!" He exclaimed as Sora, while a bit confused, then immediately jumped out of hiding with Donald, Goofy, and Elizabeth.
"GUYS!" Ruby and Jaune called out in unison as Luxord growled a bit in anger, why was this boy always getting in the way of the Organization?
Sora then raced to his friend's while avoiding a sword slash from a pirate, who he then shoved into the water to the right. Meanwhile, Will caught the sword that Jack tossed him and he used it to free himself. And it was all one big fight.
Meanwhile, Sun and the Navy men were battling the undead pirates as well as some Heartless as well. Norrington used his sword to slice a Pirate's head right off, and he then dodged a swing attack from an undead pirate.
Sun used his staff to block an attack from two pirates, welding hatchets, and he then quickly moved right under the staff swiftly and went in between the pirates, and with mighty precision, he got on two hands and kicked them right in their backs knocking them forward.
Oswald kicked one undead pirate in the leg, and as the pirate knelt in pain, Oswald quickly rolled onto the pirates back and delivered a solid kick to a Heartless's face, knocking it back a bit into another group of Heartless.
Ortensia was backed up in a corner, as a pirate was pointing his sword right down at her. "Here, kitty, kitty." He said in a deranged tone in his voice. Ortensia was a bit too scared to sue her staff, but then I remembered something she saw her husband do long ago. And right then, he took a deep breath and walked right up to the pirate, who looked confused.
"Now normally," She said to him. "I wouldn't resort to such tactics, but this time…I'm going to make an exception for you." She said as she raised her foot and…well…
BAM
The pirate's eyes went as wide as saucers as he clenched his nether region, it didn't help when the moonlight showed up and his skeleton form had his jaw breaking off. Ortensia grimaced a bit but she humped and walked away. Never underestimate a woman.
Max was engaged in a swordfight with another pirate. The two were exchanging blows for blows, but Max was still slightly inexperienced as he was about to swing, but the pirate smirked and used his one sword to block, tie around and toss Max's sword away.
"Uh oh," Max said as he then began to make a run for it, with the pirate chasing him.
"HAHAHAHAHA!" Stitch yelled as he used his blasters to shoot at the pirates and Heartless that were coming his way, now normally the undead wouldn't hurt, but since Stitch did vary blasters with him, they were being blasted to smithereens, so much that it was almost a bit impossible for them to get themselves reattached,
Meanwhile, back at the caverns. Sora had managed to free Ruby and Jaune and they as well got into the fight, but they were now cornering Luxord, who simply didn't look intimidated and simply watched them with a somewhat amused look.
"What are you planning to do now?" He asked as the three teens glared hard at him.
"Where're our friends?" Ruby asked in anger. "Where's my sister?" She asked.
Luxord chuckled. "Oh, she is doing..very fine for now at least." He said with a small chuckle. He didn't even seem to care or notice to see Ruby cocking her gun and pointing it right at his face.
"You better take us to them, right now." Jaune said as his sword was right close to Luxords neck, but the man didn't seem to be intimidated in the slightest.
"Hmm, interesting order…but for the time being, I'm going to have to say no." He said this made Jaune yell in anger as he attempted to strike him, but the man easily stepped aside and kneaded the boy right in the stomach.
Sora then attempted to strike him down, but Luxord held up a card that summoned a force field, and it popped up right as Sora attmteped to land a blow on him, the field then propelled his attack and it made him go back a bit and land in Ruby and Jaune the tree teens tumbling on the ground.
As the teens struggled a bit to get up, Luxord took another look at Barbossa, who was still locking blades with Jack, and looked at the cursed gold. "I wonder…" He said, but he then raised another card that opened up a dark corridor. "Well, I think it's time to make my exit." He said as he was about to walk through the door, but not before turning back to the others. "Barbossa." He thought. "Consider our partnership closed." He then went into the vortex and disappeared into it.
When the teens got around, they got up and saw that Luxord had escaped again. And this made them all angry.
"DAMN IT!" Jaune shouted in anger, staring right where the man in black was, some pirates saw his anger and were now a bit nervous about going to fight the boy. Jaune noticed them and got irritated. "The hell you undead bastards are staring at?"
"NOTHING!" They all shouted with fear as they immediately took off running away and out of the cave in a hurry. Ruby and Sora looked at Jaune with concern, they were angry as well, but Jaune…he was something else.
The sounds of blades clashing made both Ruby and Sora turn to face Jack and Barbossa. And Ruby went over to him. "Jaune," Ruby said, getting Jaune to turn his head towards her, he was still peeved, but his face softened when he saw her concerned look." I know you're upset, and so am I, but we need to help Jack." She said,
They then heard more blades clashing and they saw Will and Elizabeth fighting some pirates with Donald and Goofy, and both of them nodded, knowing what to do. They can go and help the others, Jack can have his battle with Barbossa.
Goofy locked a knife attack with his shield, and since the moonlight had shown, it showed the undead skeletons, and it made the fight…rather weird yet humorous. Donald used hsi lightning to zap some of them, making them shriek a bit.
Will was cornered by three of them, one of them having a bomb on them and snickering evilly. "Ready to die, Mr. Turner?" He asked. As Will backed up further, he looked at them, and then the bomb, and had an idea.
Will, with a smirk on his face, punched the pirate in the face and punched the skeleton right in the face, causing its head to spin around a few times. During that, he grabbed the bomb, slammed it right into the pirates rib cage, and pushed him to where the moonlight didn't show.
When The pirate noticed and looked at his chest, his eyes went wide. "Uh oh…" He said as then
BOOM
Meanwhile, Jack and Barbossa were still battling it out as their swords clashed a bit. "You're off a bit of a euro map, mate." Barbossa said to him. "Here, there are monsters." He said as the two then kept on fighting.
Meanwhile, Sora and the others dealt with the pirates, all of them knocked out or scattered into pieces, (And since I don't want to frighten any of you, it's the skeletal remains that are scattered, most of them fumbling around trying to put each other back together.)
"Alright!" Sora cheered. "Wil, Elizabeth, you guys were amazing!"
"Yea, and I that part about where you hit that one pirate while commenting about corsets, those hurt like heck." Ruby said to Elizabeth, who smiled at them for the compliments, same as Will.
"Jack!" They turned to see Jaune staring at the two pirates, who were fighting each other, swords clashing. And the two seem to be equal.
"Get him, Jack!" Sora cheered for him. Jack, despite being distracted for a brief moment, then used his word to stab Barbossa. But as he was cured, that didnt do anything as the pirate rolled his eyes. "Oh, forgot about that," Jack murmured as Barbossa then quickly got his own sword and stabbed Jack in the chest, the pirate grunting in pain.
"NO!" Sora and the others shouted loudly. The heroes were in shock about what just happened, one mone the two pirates wretched neck in neck, and now…Jack got stabbed by Barbossa, his traitorous first mate. Barbossa grinned evilly as Jack staggered a bit into the moonlight, and when he did…well..
Jack then went into the moonlight and his appearance turned into exactly how Barbossa and his crew looked as if they were affected by the curse. The sight made everyone look shocked.
"What the?" Ruby asked as she felt a bit green, and some of the others thought the same as well, but despite that…they were confused a bit. How did Jack get cursed?
Well, as Jack was looking over his new form. He then looked at his left hand and flicked a gold coin in his fingers. As soon as they saw it, they all went wide-eyed.
"You seriously grabbed a cursed coin?" Sora and Will asked with annoyance.
Jack, in his skeletal form, merely looked at them and simply said. "I couldn't resist." He said.
Barbossa growled in anger as he then looked around. "LUXORD! WHERE ARE YOU?" He shouted through the cave, making everyone look around as well.
"Gone!" Sora said to Barbossa. "He left! So give up Barbossa! You're all alone!" He said with a grin on his face. "And all of our friends and a few Navy men are outside taking on your undead band!"
Barbossa glared at the boy as darkness started to form around him. "Damn you…" He growled as then in a dark cloud was forming next to him, making everyone wonder what was going on, then as the form was starting to disappear, a figure took its place.
It was a humanoid figure wearing stereotypical pirate garb, except it was all black and red, it's eyes being yellow, and its mouth is covered by a dark red boa scarf. He carried two broadswords, and there were flintlocks strapped around its chest area. This Heartless? The Pirate Captain Heartless!
Sora and the others stared at the creature directly and Barbossa started with a smile as he turned to face the rest with the Heartless walking next to him. "You take care of them." He said. "I still have some of my own prey to take!" He said he started back at Jack, who was now looking more determined to fight.
Meanwhile, back outside, the fight was still going on, no matter how much damage they were taking, the undead crew was still gearing up to fight, it didn't help that the moonlight tended to get covered at certain points and it made them invulnerable for a moment.
"Sora, please hurry," Sun said as he then delivered a kick right to a pirate's face. "We're sitting ducks out here!" He said as he then narrowly avoided a knife attack and used one of his guns to shoot an undead pirate in the chest, shattering his bones all over the place, and making Sun cringe a bit. "Fighting Grimm and Heartless is so much easier than this crap." He said.
Meanwhile on the Pearl, Gibbs and the rest of the crew were doing their best to take down the rest of the undead crew, but it was a bit hard because they had just taken down the Heartless, and they felt a bit winded. But they knew that they could not back down now, not just yet.
"Keep it up!" Gibbs ordered. "We need to believe in Jack and the others!" He called out as he got back to fighting.
Meanwhile, back in the caverns….
CLANK
Sora, Will, and Jaunes' blades clashed against the Haertless's sword. Since the Heartless was taller than them, its weapon was large as well and it made all three men try to attack it at the same time. But the monster had more trench and it easily pushed them all back a bit, making them tumble a bit.
Goofy attempted to do a Goofy Dash right into the Heartless's chest, but the beast simply sidestepped out of the way, making Goofy crash into a large pile of treasure. "Ow, gold hurts…" Goofy moaned a bit.
"Fire!" Donald said as he summoned a fireball to hit the Heartless, but the pirate took its sword and effortlessly blocked it, making the ball deflect back into the water and go out, making the duck look shocked. "What? That's not fair!"
Jaune then eyed the pirate immensely, trying to figure out what kind of strategy they could use against it. After giving it some thought, he had an idea. "I got it!" he exclaimed. "Donald! Try to freeze its feet. Sora and I will try to distract it."
Donald and Sora were confused, but there was no time for arguments though. "You got it!" Donald said.
Will noticed Elizabeth still fighting some of the pirates who were still around the cave and looked at Sora. "I can't leave Elizabeth to herself." He said determinedly.
Sora nodded his head. "That's fine, you take care of Elizabeth, we can handle the rest!" He said as Weill nodded back and went to go help the woman he loved.
Meanwhile, Jack and Barbossa are still going at it, and their words clash. "Haven't you got it yet Jack?" The undead pirate said. "Once the curse is free, my crew and my Heartless will ravage every island to our hearts' content, and the entire ocean will know the name of Barbossa!"
Jack however glared at him as he jumped back a bit. "Seems to me like the curse has made you forget about what true piracy is supposed to be, mate." He said.
Barbossa then scoffed. "Oh? And what is piracy to you?"
Jack then stared at Barbossa with a face full of seriousness. "Piracy, as well as the Black Pearl….means freedom." He said with a grin. But this made Barbossa glare hard at him and return to his assault.
Meanwhile, Donald dodged an attack from the Heartless and smirked. "Gotta do better than that! Freeze!" He said, as two ice bullets hit the Heartless's feet and freezes them in place.
While the Heartless looked and growled, trying to get his feet out, that was when Sora and Jaune did their thing and ran right to the Heartless. When the pirate noticed tehsil it growled and used its sword to ignite again and swing it, sending torrents of flames right at them, but Goofy luckily ran and used hsi shield to stop the wave.
"Ruby!" Jaune called out, making the reaper smile and nod her head.
"Goofy, give me a boost!" She said as she then hopped on Goofy's shield and used her space to dash in the air. She then twirled her scythe and had it turned into its sniper mode and she aimed right at the sword. "Bang!"
The bullets from Crescent Rose then went and shot not just the sword out of the Heartless's hands but also put holes in its arms.
This gave Sora and Jaune the opening they needed as Jaune's hand then glew and he placed it on Sora's shoulder, making Sora feel as if his energy was boosted. This made both of them charge and their weapons drawn at the ready. "AURA SLASH!" they shouted with two mighty swings.
SWISH
They both effortlessly sliced the Heartless in half, its upper half beginning to slide off of its lower half, but not before vanishing away in a pit of dark smoke.
"We did it!" Sora and Jaune said in unison with smiles on their faces, with the others approaching them both. But Ruby had a look of concern on her face.
"What about Jack, Will, and Elizabeth?" She asked, as she and everyone else then heard some noises and turned to see Will kicking an undead pirate right in the face, and then turned to see Jack now non in the moonlight slitting hsi one palm with the medallion and tossing the knife to Will, Barbossa then glared and got his pistol and pointed it at Elizabeth, making her go wide-eyed.
"NO!" Sora shouted as he and the rest attempted to stop him, but then
BANG
Everyone stood still, no single muscle was moved. Who shot who? Was it Barbossa? No..it wasn't, because Elizabeth slowly looked down and saw that she had no injuries on her. Then everybody muted so they saw the real culprit behind the gunshot, and saw that it was Jack, who shot it at Barbossa.
Barbossa laughed it off. "For four years you carried that pistol and one shot, but only to waste it completely." He said with a smirk on his face.
"He didn't waste it!" Everyone turned to see Will, standing over the stone chest, medallions in his hand and the bloody knife in the other. With a smirk, Will then dropped both bloody medallions into the chest.
Barbossa then felt something, something he hasn't felt in what was like…forever. Was it pain? Yes…but something else as well. He then opened his jacket to see the shot where he was shot at and gasped at what he saw. Blood, warm blood oozing out of his wound. Seeing this was such a sight for the undead pirate. Because he has not felt pain..or felt shi own blood in years. Normally a villain would be angry that he or she has been defeated, but Barbossa, felt….happy a bit, if not also a bit sad though as well.
Barbossa looked at Jack, who was giving him a neutral look and said softly. "I feel….cold." With that, he took one final breath…. fell backward…and landed with a thud. Hector Barbossa, the cursed, traitorous first mate-turned-captain of the Black Pearl….has died.
Everyone then snapped out of their stupor and approached the fallen pirate. Sure he was a bastard who possibly deserved it, but seeing him die, especially after being free of the curse…. felt a bit…melancholy sorta. "Jack?" Ruby said to the pirate. But Jack didn't say anything, he was glancing at his foe, and gave a deep heavy sigh. He then turned to Sora, who was giving him a small remorseful look, and gave a pat on the boy's shoulder.
"Well, it's over," Jack said as they all sighed in relief.
"So that is then?" Donald asked. "The curse is now finally over?" He asked.
Jack nodded his head. "Should mate,"
Meanwhile, the fight outside was still going on. All of the undead pirates immediately stopped, why? Because they felt things they haven't felt in a long time! And plus, the moon was out and they were all still in their normal skin.
"The moon!" Pintel said as he looked at his arm. "My arm…we…were free!" He said with Ragetti nodding in agreement.
The curse…it was lifted from them! From them all! And the proof was when a few of them who had injuries immediately fell dead from their wounds.
"They did it!" Sun exclaimed with a smile. "They did it!" He said as the entire Navy on board cheered, while a few of the former undead crew members immediately surrendered without hesitation. Were they angry? A little bit, but nothing made them happier than being fully human once again.
"Phew, glad that's over," Oswald said with a grin as Ortensia went over and gave him a big kiss on his cheek, and Stitch happily licked Max's face, making the boy chuckle and laugh a bit.
"Guys!" Sun said to his comrades, who then gathered around him. "While they are all cheering. Let's get to the cave quietly!" He said, making the others nod their heads and they immediately snuck to the side of the ship.
Back in the caverns, everyone was in relief from the battle they fought in, Jaune was sitting on a rock, his arms crossed, her eyes closed and his breathing was a bit heavy.
"I need to know where they are….I need it now!" He thought as his body trembled a bit. Sora and Ruby noticed this and could see that this was starting to take a toll on him.
"I'm getting worried aobut him" Ruby said to the keyblade wielder, who nodded his head in agreement. After what happened in Atlantis, they knew that Jaune was starting to lose it, and it was not looking good either.
Ruby then turned to see Will and Elizabeth together, and it made her think of something. Back in Beacon, she would always notice Pyrrha often giving Jaune some attention, and he would often give Weiss attention though. Now she never told anybody this, but during those times, she had felt slightly jealous, yes, jealous.
It was not really fair that Jaune was giving Weiss attention and not her. Sure she knew Weiss and Pyrrha didn't mean any harm to it, but a part of her was very jealous that she was never given any special attention, and he was the very first friend she ever made in Beacon.
Looking back at those now, made Ruby a bit confused and slightly felt something. She never truly had a crush in her life, as kids would either find her too weird because of her obsession with weapons or were a bit intimidated by Yang a bit to approach her. But Jaune…. didn't thinks of her as weird, nor did he freak her out. Was…was she-?
"Oy!" Her thoughts were soon interrupted by Jack, who was carrying a large assortment of treasure. "We're leaving!"
"Well, we better get moving then." Goofy said with a smile as he and the others walked out. Ruby was the one following a bit close behind, but her mind just couldn't get off of Jaune, or his struggle….inwardly, she was worried sick.
When The group made it outside, they saw the Black Pearl approach them all, the crewmates cheering a bit as Sun, hsi group, and Gibbs all climbed off of the Pearl.
"You did it captain!" Gibbs said with a smile on his face.
Jack then looked at the Pearl and a smile came on his face. After what seemed like a century to him, going through hardships such as being deserted on an island and being mutinied against, he finally had the Black Pearl back. "Yes…I did." He said.
Sora and the others were hugging Sun and the others, thankful. That they didn't get hurt.
"I swear," Sun said. "If I ever have to fight something undead again, it will be too soon." He said, wiping sweat off of his forehead.
"Agreed," The words said in unison, not even missing a single beat.
"What the?" Sora and the others turned to see Jack's compass glowing a bit and lifting out of his hands, much to everyone's (except for eh world travelers) surprise.
"Sora, care to do the honors?" Ruby said to him.
"Sora smirked. "Delighted too." He said as he then summoned his keyblade the tip glowed, and with that…everything turned white.
After a few minutes, the light vanished and everything was back the way it was, and every pirate was left dumbstruck.
"What was that?" Will asked.
Sora and the others turned and looked apologetic. "Sorry captain, but me and my friends need to get going now."
Jack crossed his arms. "Well then savvy. I suppose you should." He said with a small smirk
Will and Elizabeth smiled at the group. "Thank you all, for everything," Elizabeth said to them
"If there was only something we could do to show our thanks," Will said.
Jaune shield though. "That's not necessary, just knowing that your safety is all we need." the others nodded their heads as well.
"Alright lads, lasses," Gibbs said with a smile. "I hope you come back soon, maybe next time, you might even become captain of your own ship."
Sora smiled. "Maybe, take care." He said as he and the others then vanished out of sight.
Meanwhile, Luxord was watching from afar and sighed. "I should have known that undead fool would fail, but alas. It seems like my fortune-telling was wrong." He said. "Well, no matter, better get back to the Castle." He said as a dark vortex appeared and he walked right into it.
Ok…so we are officially done with the first visit to Port Royal.
I deeply apologize if I have not been updating recently, with everything going on now in my life, it's just one big convoluted mess of things.
But as long as I have determination, I will not give up on this story. I like writing it and it makes me happy to see you all enjoying it too. Also, I have become fond of MLP: Friendship is Magic.
