It's time for the food fight to happen. Though this time it is not gonna be like the original, infact i am gonna add more participants in it, to make it more exciting.
First i want to apologize for the lack of updates for this series. It's been over ten months now since the last chapter was added for this volume. Life has been screwing me up and i didn't had the time to make a chapter for this fic.
But now it's back and i'll try my best to keep the updates consistent.
Anyways, enjoy the chapter
This afternoon has been a swell one for Beacon's fourth specialist; Erich "Jager" Hartmann. It's now at the end of the weekdays, classes are already over, and all his work is finished. All he now has to do is just do whatever he wants. So he is now currently walking to the mess hall, which where the first years and a few of the second years were eating their lunch at.
It had been a while, two or three possibly - or even a month, after he had told the truth to his friends, and also CRDL. When all those days have passed, he felt...good, great even. Maybe because he won't have to hide it anymore to his friends for the rest of his life. It would be such a burden to take.
Though it leaves to those 16 people to keep it a secret from the rest of the school, but Hartmann trusted them, and that counts with the boys of CRDL. He and most of the team do have some good grounds to themselves. It's only their leader he is sceptical about.
All and all, he knew they'll do their task well, and for a good cause.
Hartmann pass by several second-year students when he was walking to the cafeteria building. Some of them greeted him, in which he greeted back. After that he made it to the doors. He could hear that the interior of the building was filled with voices and chattering, implying that it would be very crowded when he gets in there.
When he opened the doors, he saw all the first-year students that were sitting on their lunch desks; eating, chatting, or messing around. Some of them saw the German and they bow at him with respect.
He let out a slight chuckle, remembering that he is the fourth specialist of Beacon, so he acted as a higher-up to the huntsmen. Speaking of Specialist, he really needs to act like one, to stand out than the rest of the huntsmen.
He does have all of those Earth weapons, which are pretty strong against anyone even with Aura on. But he needs to work on his CQC skills more. Enough of that though, he knows he shouldn't pressure himself to be strong. Just enjoy life.
When he was about to get his food, he pass by team CRDL. He let out a hidden smirk before walking to the team leader, Cardin.
Cardin and his team were just chit-chatting like any other people usually do together. At first it was about their studies and other school stuff. Then Russel brought up about picking on the Faunus, which Cardin had did before.
Cardin let out a frown of that topic. He still had a slight grudge against them, just like the rest of his family bloodline in their history. Immediately he told them to change the topic to not further discuss that. Then he heard someone calling out to them.
"I am surprised to see you all here." Cardin exhaled, knowing who that was from that voice. He turned his head away towards Hartmann, standing beside him with a smile.
"What do you want?" Cardin asked, visibly annoyed.
Hartmann shrugged. "Nothing, really. Just checking if you guys did not snitch on me."
Cardin then stated. "Hey, i told you that i'm a man of my word and i will not gonna expose your secrets to the rest of the school." He already knew what the consequences would be if he had done it. Two words: Professor Goodwitch.
Hartmann turned to the rest of his team. They all give him nods, implying that they all hadn't said a word about him to the school. "I see. Well, it was nice to drop by. Have a good day." He said as he walked away.
"Hey, you too, man." Russel said as Cardin turned to him with a frown. "What?" The mohawk asked with a shrug.
Hartmann then grabbed a tray and went to get his food. Right now the cook offered him some bread and ham with a carton of milk and some fruits. He then goes to search for an empty table or where his friends are at. He caught a glimpse of CFVY, but it seems like their table seems full. They were also discussing about something that he shouldn't really be part of, so he let them be.
He goes to search for JNPR or RWBY. Atleast they could spare him a seat at their table. He finally found where the team were sitting. For JNPR, it appears that their seat is full, but to his luck, team RWBY still has a few empty seats around them. With a smile, he makes his way over to them.
"Afternoon, Fräuleins." He greeted to the team of girls as Weiss, Blake, and Yang turned to him.
"Hello Hartmann." Weiss said.
"Yo harts!" Yang followed.
"Hey." Blake said before looking back to her book. Hartmann then put his tray down and sat beside the team. Though he begin to notice that one of them was missing, and that was Ruby herself.
"Hey, where is Ruby?" Hartmann asked.
"I don't know. But she'll be here." Yang said before catching a grape thrown by Nora by the other side with her mouth. The redhead girl challenged the blonde if she could catch all the food she threw to her mouth, in which she accepted. The two been doing it the entire lunch now.
"Huh, okay then." Hartmann took a bite of his ham sandwich as he eats with the rest of the girls. However Blake was spending her time looking at a book of hers. She was looking at some notes that she wrote, but she also had drew some sketches. One of them features a red-headed bull faunus with a sword attached to his back.
Blake stared at the picture and let out a sigh. That's because she had some history with the sketched Bull man, when she was part of the radicalized white fang. You could say they were pretty close, though not in a romantic way. Now that she left, she doesn't know how he feels for her anymore.
Hopefully he doesn't get in her way.
While she stared at the sketch, her partner - Yang slides over to her and asked, "Whatcha doing?"
"Nothing." Blake said, quickly closing her book. "Just going over notes from last semester."
"Really?" Yang raised an eyebrow before catching another grape with her mouth from Nora. "Sounds lame."
"Not just that, though. I was also looking at new techniques that i could use for my combat." Blake half-fibbed, since she did wrote some of it in her book.
"Now that sounds not lame." Yang smiled before catching yet another grape from Nora whilst giving her a thumbs up for it.
"Speaking of techniques." Weiss chimed in before turning to Hartmann. "Hartmann. After this, we should continue on your close combat training. I think today is a good time for it."
"Haven't i had done a good amount of training?" Hartmann asked. "I think i'm doing well with my CQC experience."
"Do you want to still be viewed as a specialist?"
"...Alright then." Hartmann acknowledged.
Just then, Ruby had finally arrived as she placed a large binder into the table, causing a large thud making the trays to bounce a bit. The scythe girl let out a huff after carrying that binder. Then she cleared her throat before looking over to her teammates and friends.
"Sisters...Friends...Weiss.."
"Hey!" Weiss exclaimed as Hartmann chuckled.
Ruby began. "Four score and seven minutes ago, i had a dream."
Yang snickered, bumping a shoulder to Blake. "This oughta be good."
"A dream that one day, the four of us will come together, as a team, and are going to have the most fun anyone has ever had...ever!" She said ecstatically. Though the others were raising their brows in confusion of what she meant.
"Could you clarify of what you're trying to say here?" Blake asked.
"Well, since we only have a few days left before the next semester arrives, I was thinking that team RWBY should do something together. And all of those are written...right here!" Ruby lift up the binder she had carried, allowing the rest of her teammates to get a better look.
The cover of it has "Vytal Festival Activities" written on it. But there was also a phrase that said "Property of Weiss Schnee", which had been crossed out with a red marker pen, said pen had also wrote a new title, "Best Day Ever Activities" written underneath it.
"I wrote a list of stuff we're gonna do, because we're gonna kick off the semester with a bang!" She declared, pumping her fist.
"Is that my binder?" Weiss said with a frown aimed at the team leader since she stole it. The latter then pull out a peace sign with one of her hands.
"I am not a crook."
Yang then spoke up. "Well, you're talking about kicking off the semester with a bang. I always kick my semesters off with a Yang!" She quipped with a pun. Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Hartmann all cringed at that. "Eh? Guys? Am i right?"
Yang was then struck to the face by an apple thrown by Nora. She shout out a 'boooo' from the bad pun as the blonde then glared at the red head.
While that was happening, Ruby explained about all of this. "Look guys, it's been a good couple of weeks and between more exchange students arriving and the tournament by the end of the year, our second semester is going to be great! And since we still have a few days left before classes start back up, i've taken the time to schedule a series of wonderful events for us."
"I don't know whether to be proud or scared of what you have in store." Weiss said.
Meanwhile, Yang - still glaring at Nora, picked up an Apple an attempted to hit her, but she then used Jaune as a meat shield, hitting the blonde boy to the face as he let out an 'Ow!'
"Well, i am intrigued" Hartmann said. "Though it's a shame, i'm not part of your team."
"Who's to say that i am not inviting my friends over too?" Ruby said with a bright smile. "Don't worry, Harts. You are allowed to join with us whenever you want, much like team JNPR." She gestured to the said team, as Nora was seen throwing a banana towards Yang, which the latter had evaded. They begin to call out at each other, which the rest are trying to ignore.
"That seems pretty generous of you, Ruby." Hartmann commented.
Ruby smiled in response. "That's what friends do!"
"You know i would try and do these activities with you, but not today - or even tomorrow. Me and Hartmann had agreed we should focus on training our close combat techniques." The German nodded in agreement, though Ruby sulked at that.
At the background, it seems that the food throwing is getting more intense, with various students now getting roped into it. Yang then picked up another apple and threw it at Nora. However it ended up hitting the back of Russel's head. He angrily turned around, before picking up an orange to throw at her.
Blake chimed in to the conversation. "Come on, Weiss. What's wrong with having a little fun?"
"Nothing's wrong with it." She responded. "It's just that we're a bit busy right now, and I'm afraid these fun activities might get in our way."
"But we still have the time for it, no?" Hartmann queried.
"Yeah, Weiss. Come on." Ruby then opened the binder, looking at the list of stuff they should do. "We can do an awesome game of 'Remnant: the game'. Or we could check out the wonders of Beacon and Vale. Or even go shopping from stores that the festival had installed for us!"
Weiss sighed. "Okay, fine. But of course like you said, if we ever to spend the last few days in these activities, we should do it as a team." She then stood up, unknowing that the food fight had gotten more intense with even more people joining in throwing some stuff.
"I for one think that-"
The Heiress was interrupted when her face was suddenly hit by a cream pie - leaving Hartmann, Ruby, and Blake stunned. Yang was also stunned after she pleaded to the thrower not to throw that pie. They all turned to who the culprit was.
Of course, it was Nora. She and her team was also left stunned at what the redhead did. Jaune stared with wide-eyes, Pyrrha had a hand over her mouth in shock, while Nora immediately points at Ren - putting the blame on him, in which he respond with a sigh and facepalmed.
Some of the other students were also stunned when the Heiress of Atlas got herself struck to the face by that cream pie.
They all stayed silent for a moment, until Hartmann spoke out. "Um, Weiss. Are you...okay?" He asked with a hint of concern.
"Oh, i'm fine..." Weiss said, her voice still muffled from the pie. She then turned to where Ruby was, even though she couldn't see anything right now. "Ruby, I think i already thought of a 'Fun' activity..."
"O-Okay, Weiss...and what is it?" Ruby asked, worryingly.
Weiss then wipe off the pie from her face as she immediately grabbed a baguette and point it towards JNPR and the students with a pissed off look in her face.
"I WILL EXACT REVENGE UPON THESE MONGRELS!"
Outside of the cafeteria, Sun Wukong is walking with one of his teammates, Neptune Vasilias. A good looking boy with tan skin, blue eyes and messy light-blue hair in the form of an undercut. He wears a white dress shirt and black tie under a red jacket adorned with a wide, upturned, black collar and a silver reticle across the back. He also sports a pair of gray jeans with black padding strapped to the sides.
The duo were part of team SSSN, which based on the yellow color of the sun, but mostly based on the Faunus' leader's name, much like Ruby. Their team was part of the Haven academy in Mistral, which is why they had arrived to beacon as representatives of Mistral and the Haven academy.
Currently, Sun talk back about the incident that happened in the docks. "And then just like i predicted, the white fang showed up at the port. It turned into a really big brawl and i was kicking some of those dudes left to right."
"Ohhh." Neptune interpreted while giving him nods.
"And I think I made myself an arch-enemy. That 'Jennipurr' girl really wanted me dead."
"You do always get yourself in risky situations like that." Neptune said.
Sun nervously chuckled while rubbing the back of his neck. "Not always, ok. But anyways, the fight was done and was pretty fun. I wish you guys were there, though."
"Define 'Fun'. You forgot the part of the fourteen deaths that happened, in which you were apart off." He stated with a frown.
"I told you guys, I didn't kill them!" Sun shouted, arms spread. "Besides, it was all in Self-defense. Those goons were really itching for a fight to the literal death." Sun does know he was lying. The truth is that 'Hartmann' kid was the one that killed those fourteen white fang members. Blake had told him before in his scroll that he too should kept the whole thing a secret to himself.
Sun kept that word and he won't tell it to anyone, even to his team.
Neptune rolled his eyes. "Well, if you say so."
Sun continued. "Anyways, I became close friends with Blake while also beginning to be acquainted with her own friends. And get this - she is actually a Faunus with her traits hidden by that bow." He momentarily covered his mouth after realizing what he said. "But that's a secret, okay?"
"Got it." Neptune replied, but that didn't stop Sun to lean close to him.
"And not a, "I'm gonna go tell Scarlet the second Sun turns his back secret'. I'm talking secret Secret!"
Neptune then raised both of his arms in a calming a manner. "Whoa, chill out, man, okay? I got it." He said with a assuring smile.
"Well, you better. I don't want to screw this up, okay? Blake's a very cool person. And if that's the case so does her team and possibly even the entire school!" As they were passing the building, they didn't notice the chaos that was happening inside. Food was thrown everywhere, and the students were fighting eachother with the said food. At one point, Jaune got himself splattered into the window.
Sun and Neptune then made it to the door. "Alright, they're just in here. I'm really excited for you to meet them. Let's not forget we're also representing Haven here. So, just be cool, okay?"
"Dude." Neptune struck a pose as he then smiles, causing his teeth to gleam.
"Good point." Sun acknowledged.
Sun and Neptune then entered the building. Sun kept a smile on his face and so did Neptune as they entered, expecting a warm welcome from Blake or any of the Beacon students.
What they didn't expect though was a food war going on.
The entire building was in total chaos. Food was littered everywhere, making the whole place to be a total mess. Various first year students were seen knocked out at the tables or the ground. Most of the second year students rushed out of the building where Sun and Neptune stood, not wanting to bear any responsibilities for this. Some of the first years also followed out.
They all ran like a stampede. Sun wasn't fazed of any of this while keeping a smile. As for Neptune, he had a worried look watching all of them ran away.
At the front. team JNPR was seen on top of a tower of tables stacked, albeit Jaune trying his best to get on one of them. Nora was on top of it, with her arms on her hips as she let out a loud laugh.
"I am queen of the castle!" Nora proclaimed in a sing-song voice while repeating it again.
Meanwhile at the bottom, Ruby stepped on a table with a carton of milk in her hand as she pointed to JNPR. "Justice will be swift! Justice will be painful!" She then crushed the carton before declaring. "It will be delicious!"
"YEAH!" Her team shouted and raised their fists simultaneously.
At the left side stood by team CRDL. Cardin and his team were clad in armor with the nearby silverwares and some duct tape. "We ain't gonna bow that easy! You will all feel the wrath of the Cardinal warriors!"
"HUZZAH!" His team shouted, raising their food weapons, readying for a fight.
And at the right side there was team CFVY, the only second year students that are left in the building. Coco stood on top of the table while her team was behind her. Fox and Yatsu standing up straight, while Velvet cowered a bit on the seat.
"You guys are all talk. We know a thing or two, because we've seen a thing or two. Time to teach you freshmen real food fighting!" She declared, tightening her fist. Ready for battle.
"Well, then. Off with all of your heads!" Nora shouted as she dropped to the ground beside a tray of watermelons. The force causing the melons to launch to the sky towards team RWBY. The girls quickly dodge the incoming attack as they charged forward, which prompted the other two teams to do the same.
The battle then unfold.
Ruby rushed to Nora as she tries to strike her with a hard loaf of bread. Nora evade it and knock her away with her DIY hammer, which is a watermelon stuck to a pole. She launched her to set of tables before the redhead quickly got back up. However, she then got himself in a fight with Sky, wielding an unwrapped subway sandwich.
Ruby dodge the attack from him as she backflipped before picking up a stick of butter and threw it to his face. Sky abruptly stopped as his face was covered in butter. He grew irritated, wiping the butter off of his face then charging in with his subway sword to the silver-eyed girl.
Meanwhile, Yang fisted two turkeys into her hands and begin to use them like her gauntlets. A few watermelons were thrown at her by Pyrrha, in which the blonde quickly punched them to pieces and charged to the redhead. Yang then sent a heavy punch, but Pyrrha quickly blocked it with her tray shield.
She then pushed the blonde back before grabbing a hard baguette, using it as a spear, and then hit her shoulder. Yang was pushed back but she quickly adjust herself and readied her turkey gauntlets.
Just then a shadow appeared between them as the girls step away when Yatsuhashi crashed in and broke the table with a big ass baguette in half. The tall student that did a big swing, managing to sent Pyrrha flying off where as Yang quickly dodge it by jumping up.
The blonde then attacked the titan student, exchanging blows and dodges at eachother. While Yatsu took care of Yang, Fox leaped across sections of tables and had his sights on the mistral champion. He readied his lobster claw weapon and strike at the Mistralian.
The strike hit Pyrrha, but she quickly recovered and grabbed another baguette to use as a weapon. Both of them took a stance, but then Pyrrha raised one of her hands as it begins to glow. Just then, Fox hears the sound of plates clanking coming from his left.
Hearing it, Fox dodge the incoming plates that were thrown at him as he expected. When he turn back to Pyrrha, he could sense a vibration at the Mistralian, realizing that she was the one who did it.
Fox then raised one of his arms towards Pyrrha. She was confused for a moment before a voice pop up. "So, that was your semblance?" She was surprised that the voice sounded like Fox's. He asked about what Pyrrha just did with the plates.
"And i assume this is yours?" Pyrrha replied as she knows this may be the work of the second year student's semblance.
"Surprise you knew that fast. Anyways, surrender or face CFVY's wrath."
"Only if you face JNPRs first." Fox huffed as he and Pyrrha then charged at eachother with their food weapons.
Elsewhere, Blake grabbed two bread sticks as she rushed towards Jaune. The latter panicked a bit, trying to think of what to do. Fortunately for him though, it seems that he wasn't Blake's focus as the bow girl leap over him and focused on another teammate of his - Ren.
Ren grab a hold of some hard celery sticks as he ducked from Blake's first blow from her bread. He then tries to strike her back, but the Faunus evade it with her semblance. She then strike another blow to Ren's face.
Ren stumbled but regained and counter-attacked. With his martial art skills, he evaded some of Blake's attacks while managing to hit her a few times with his celery sticks. However, Blake still stood strong while evading his attacks with her semblance.
Everytime she used it, Ren had to watch out where she would appear from her clone. It was no biggy, since he could sense her where she's attacking. Ren successfully dodge another attack from behind, ducking down while swiping her legs.
As Blake was mid-air, Ren sent a powerful kick to her chest, knocking her feets away. Blake was going to rush at him again, but she was interrupted when cans of soda begin to explode near her.
Dove managed to grab cans of sodas, shaking them very hard and then throwing them like grenades. He tries his best to assist his teammates that were fighting the other students while throwing cans at the enemy. Though he had to take cover when food was flung into his position.
He then look over to where it come from to see Coco standing behind a few tables as cover. She was seen holding some sort of DIY weapon that is brown in colour and has some sort of mechanism on it. The handle was by the far back with the short barrel that shoots out whatever food she has. A small fuel engine was place on top of it, possibly to power up the weapon.
(A/N: It's the Junk jet from Fallout. I can't explain the details of it that much)
It may seem ridiculous at sight, but to Coco - this was a masterpiece for a food fight. She'd prepare for this moment and it is time to finally use it.
"Velv! Get me more ammo!" She shouted to the rabbit behind her. She stood by her friend, acting as a support unit as she gave Coco more food she can use for her junk jet. Everytime they run out, Velvet dashed out of their cover and go back with loads of food on her arms.
Coco loaded a good amount of food and condiments in it as she aims her jet gun to the other teams. When she pulled the trigger, a tomato was first launched towards Dove, the latter quickly duck down.
"Hey, that's cheating!" Dove called out of her invention.
"This is war! There are no rules!" Coco exclaimed back and fired cans of sodas at him, she turned to the other teams and fired at them too. Even though she could only fire one ammo at a time, it still packs a punch.
Meanwhile, Cardin is blocking and dodging any incoming food towards him. Good thing that his DIY armor made of silver-wares are doing a great work. Though some food managed to hit him pretty hard, he did not even feel the pain of it. All thanks to a semblance of his - Cauterize.
He then heard a battle cry coming towards them as he turned to his right to see Jaune raising a baguette like a sword at him. Jaune then sliced the Baguette at the brown-haired kid with such force as he smiled victoriously.
But then his smile faded when he gazed at his bread - which is now in half, and glance back to Cardin to see that he was still standing, his 'armor' barely even get a scratch.
Cardin smirked. "Aw, now that's cute. My turn now."
He then wallops the poor blonde boy by striking him with his own baguette towards the head three time, then sending two powerful strikes towards his chest, and finally he lined his baguette up as he speared Jaune's stomach with such force till it manage to launch him to the set of tables that acted as JNPR's "Castle".
Cardin let out a triumphant laugh, but he soon dropped it when he heard a loud crash behind him. He turned around to see Nora holding her melon hammer tightly, looking pretty pissed at him.
"You. Broke. My. CASTLE!" Nora shouted in anger before swinging her hammer.
Cardin didn't manage to evade it as his stomach was met with a hard hit from the watermelon hammer. Nora swing the hammer at him with so much power, launching Cardin halfway across the cafeteria before smashing through a wall like a meteorite.
Cardin let out gasps and wheezes after the impact before falling unconscious.
Ruby was surfing on the tables by using a tray that acts as a surfboard. She put some butter under it aswell so she could slide easier. She manage to evade the incoming sodas thrown by Dove.
Dove then threw a bread as a spear, in which Ruby then jumped into the air while using her tray to block the incoming bread. After that, she put it back on her feet and continued surfing. She manage to grab another bread and threw it at him.
Dove narrowly dodge the bread as he then saw Ruby leaping on to him. He shield himself with his arms, bracing for impact. The tray then landed on his arms, but Dove stood his ground thanks to his arm guards armor.
Seeing that her tactic didn't work, Ruby pushed the tray, knocking Dove to the ground as she leaped away. As Dove was recovering, Russel and Skye rushed to the crimson-haired girl.
Ruby was about to fight them, but then Weiss appeared behind her with a bottle of ketchup. Knowing what her teammate was about to do, Ruby leaped backwards as Weiss step forward and readied the ketchup. She squeezed it, letting out oozes of ketchup as it spread to the floor towards the Russel and Skye.
Russel saw the incoming condiment and leapt to the tables. However Skye wasn't lucky enough. The ketchup had made it under his feet, and because he was running - he slipped and fell to the floor. Though he was still sliding and he could not stop himself until he crashed into a set of tables whilst sending them flying through the air.
Russel use this as an advantage. When the tables were closer, he jumped at one of them and use it to boost him up to get an angle on Ruby and Weiss. Readying his big crab claws that he picked up from a plate on one of the falling tables, he then uses his speed-like semblance and dashed towards the heiress.
Weiss readied herself, but suddenly Ruby came up infront of her and shielded her. This cause Russel to crash into the crimson-haired girl as she was then knocked her far away. Good thing Weiss dodge the attack as she manage to acquire a raw swordfish.
She twirls it around and struck a pose, just like how she uses her myrtenaster, before attacking Russel. Weiss struck first by hitting the mohawk boy to the stomach with the tip of the fish. Russel stumbled before counterattacking with his crab claws.
He manage to hit Weiss to the face with the first claw, but the second claw was parried by the heiress' swordfish. The two exchange blows for a minute with the Mohawk boy seemingly getting the upper hand. Weiss then did a double backflip, confusing Russel for a moment before he realizes that she was going for a charge attack.
Weiss tighten her swordfish before she charges at the Mohawk with such speed. Russel braced for the impact as Weiss then hits him to the chest, sending him flying off. The CRDL member's not gonna give up that easy, however. He quickly adjust himself back to the ground and notice that he's far from the heiress. He let out a smirk before readying himself.
Russel then dashes towards Weiss, but what the latter didn't expect is when the mohawk did a small jump before he starts spinning his body around until he turns into some kind of a buzzsaw. Weiss braced for the impact, but suddenly she was hit to the head with a tomato thrown by Dove.
Because she was caught off-guard, Russel gets a clean hit to her whole body. His attack sends the poor heiress flying across the cafeteria until she hits one of the pillars. The impact caused a dent to form as the Heiress begins to fall.
Ruby took notice and used her speed semblance to catch the white-haired girl from falling. She lands back to the ground, cradling Weiss into her arms. "Weiss, Weiss! Don't leave me!" Ruby pleaded for Weiss to wake up, but the heiress was already knocked out from the crash.
"NOOOOOO!" Ruby wept in a dramatic tone as the pillar that Weiss crashed into fell to the ground to bits of pieces.
While all the chaos is happening, Hartmann was hiding behind some tables the entire time, avoiding all the chaos and destruction happening. He then peeked to see it is still going on as usual.
The four teams were at eachother's throats. Coco and Velvet were behind their fort. Yang threw her turkey gauntlets at Jaune, poor boy did not even get to land a punch on someone, then she engaged a fight against Ren and Nora. She managed to knock Ren to the ground and shifted to Nora. However, the ginger evade her attacks and then managed to sent the blonde flying upwards out of the building.
Ruby was still mourning from Weiss' defeat, the latter still knocked unconscious. And then Yatsuhashi and Fox trying their best to hold off a barrage of sodas from Pyrrha with her polarity semblance. Yatsu stand his ground, but Fox wasn't so lucky. When the sodas exploded, Fox was sent flying until he crashed into a set of tables, knocking him out.
Despite of how chaotic this was, Hartmann could not help but think of how fun it is and wants to join in aswell. Now the question is, which team he should join?
RWBY? The girls are cool, not to mention that he and Weiss trained a bit during their time in Beacon.
JNPR? They're cool too, wouldn't hurt if he join with them.
CRDL? Probably not now. Cardin still seems to be annoyed of him.
CFVY? They were the first team that ease up on him the first time he entered Beacon. And he knew them more than the rest.
After seconds of thinking, Hartmann had made his choice with a 'not-so suspicious' smile.
He then make a move and head over to where Coco and Velvet were at. The latter tensed up a bit, but soon relaxed when she realized it was him. "Hey, Hartmann."
"Hi, Velvet." He greeted.
"Hartmann?" Coco spoke up before ducking behind her table wall and turned to him. "Hey, man. What are you doing here?"
"Just wondering if i could join you in this fight." He answered, getting a surprise reaction from the two CFVY girls.
"Oh hell yeah, you should!" Coco exclaimed happily before turning to the rest of the teams. "Ya hear that, first years!? Hartmann's now on our side!"
This got some reaction to the teams. Yatsuhashi smiled, Russel and Dove was surprised from it, while Ruby was appalled.
"What!?" Ruby yelled. "Hartmann, you traitor! After all we did for you?"
"Hey, I've been with them longer than you all. Sorry." Hartmann shrugged before ducking back down as Coco fired more foods from her jet gun. "Okay, what should i do?" He asked.
"Get me a bunch of ammo like Velv does. Anything around that is hard." Coco suggested.
Hartmann nodded before observing the battlefield. Lots of food were scattered around, though most of it were under the tables that were thrashed around during the food fight. He then went out, avoiding many food and debris came flying over. He manage to pick up a few cans before throwing it to Coco. "Here!" He said.
Velvet manage to catch them and bring them to coco as ammo.
Hartmann continue to search more until his eyes caught to a large raw salmon that somehow manage to stay still on top of a plate. He grab a hold of it and noticed how heavy it is, heavy enough to use it as a weapon.
He turned back to the CFVY team. Seeing that Yatsuhashi was dealing with the other teams and managing to stood strong, since he is the largest and toughest member in the school, currently. Where as Coco and Velvet were still behind the fort, providing fire. Glancing from the large student and the two girls, Hartmann form a smirk as he head over to the girls with the salmon in his hands.
"Hey, i'm back." Hartmann said to the girls.
Velvet sniffed and covered her nose after. "Ugh, what's that smell?"
"Oh, it's probably this salmon I'm holding." Hartmann showed the fish towards the rabbit faunus.
"Well alright then. Though i think the salmon's too big for Coco's gun." Velvet said, observing the length of the fish then looking back to Coco's jet gun.
"Oh not to worry, it isn't for Coco's gun." Hartmann calmly said.
"Then what are you-" Velvet was cut off when she was then smacked by Hartmann right towards her right head. The smack was so hard that it knocked her out cold as her body fell to the ground.
Hearing the loud smack, Coco turned her focus from the battlefield. "Velv? What was that loud-"
Hartmann quickly shift to her and smacked aswell to the back of her head. Like Velvet, he did with such force until it knocked her out as her body fell forward, hanging by the table.
'Wow, that was pretty easy.' The German was pretty surprised of how he easily knocked out two of the second year students with just a large fish. Either the fish is strong or it was his own strength. Looking back to see the teams fighting each other with breadsticks that had not even broke in half yet, it's probably the food.
Hartmann shook that thought off and focused on his plan. He was never gonna team up with CFVY, he just wanted the weapon Coco has and beat everyone so he could be on top.
He then picked up the jet-looking gun and tinkered it a little. The gun then jammed a bit with smoke coming from the engine. After a few moments it starts to operate, but when Hartmann hold the trigger, it starts to fire a few ammo at once.
Letting out a smirk, he left Coco's fort with the gun in his hands as he searches for better ground to use it.
Yatsuhashi was having a hard time fending off his opponents. With Fox out, he was forced to cover the girls. Though the good thing for him is that the other opponents were reduce in numbers too. RWBY and CRDL has two members left that are still standing. JNPR was about to join in the same boat as them when he is dealing with Nora - the girl that escalated this whole thing.
Blocking a heavy strike from her watermelon hammer with his two corns in a cob stuck to a metal rod, he then counterattacks by striking her stomach then hitting her lower jaw like an uppercut.
Nora was still standing as she parried an attack from the titan student with the body of her melon hammer. Stepping a few feets back, she grips her hammer tight and went in for another heavy attack.
Yatsuhashi blocked it again, but this time Nora had the momentum as she quickly spun her hammer until it was pointing to Yatsu's chest as a spear. With enough strength, Nora jabbed him to the chest, launching him two meters away.
Yatsu quickly recovered as he look back to the hammer girl with a growl. "Coco, i need assistance!" He called out to her, but there was no response.
"Coco?" He then look over to her 'fort' and went shocked when he saw the beret girl hanging by the side of the table, unconscious. Looking closer, Velvet was laying down on the floor - also unconscious.
How did Coco and Velvet got taken down that easily? His team had experienced one food fight a year ago and he knows of how good Coco was during that time. But there they are now, knocked out of the fight like pawns in a chess game.
He wondered who could've done it until he noticed that Hartmann was not there. He remembered that Coco just announced that Hartmann has joined his team and is willing to assist. He's not even near the knocked out girls nor helping them to get up. Top it all off, Coco's gun seems to be missing, which means...
His thoughts were interrupted when he hears something coming down like a bomb. He then saw a mass of food and cans heading towards his direction, in which he quickly evaded. Though it appears that he wasn't the only one being targeted. The rest of the surviving fighters stopped when the shooting continued as they see various masses of food and/or silverwares shot to their position.
Russel and Dove were caught off-guard and got hit. Ruby, Pyrrha, Nora, Ren, and Blake manage to avoid it.
Jaune however, wasn't so lucky. As soon as he got back up to fight yet again, he was met with a turkey slammed to his face, knocking him out permanently.
After that barrage of foods, the teams searched of where it came from and who caused it. Yatsuhashi then saw a pile of tables stack together, some were placed manually. Then he saw a person standing on top of it.
He, joined by the rest of the teams, were surprised about seeing the lone figure by the pile. It was Hartmann.
"Hello, down there!" The german waved with a sinister-like smile.
"Hartmann? What are you doing over there?" Yatsuhashi asked before he heard a grunt. He turned to the left and saw that Coco had regained consciousness before looking towards where Hartmann was with an angry look. She weakly pointed a finger at him.
"Y-You damn backstabber!" Coco yelled at him.
"What?!" Yatsu exclaimed.
"It's nothing personal! It's just Barbarossa!" Hartmann called out to Coco.
"What the heck is going on, Hartmann?" Ruby questioned his antics. First he ditched her team, the one that Hartmann had hang out with the most - though it is usually when he and Weiss are training. But now it seems that he had backstabbed Coco's team and stole the leader's gun in, then saying something about 'Barbarossa'.
Hartmann smirked at the crimson-haired girl. "It's simple. I'm taking you all out and become the top fighter in this school!" He then readied the jet gun and fired barrages of food and silverware towards the team. He had done more tinkering and now the gun could fire even faster, almost of a machine gun.
Yatsuhashi tried to stand his ground like he did the entire fight, but the attack on his gun was proven too strong to him as he keep getting set back from each attack. Though the titan student tried to push forward, he was then hit to the head by a bottle of soda. Hartmann had put in some mints in the bottle and used it like a rocket.
The impact of the bottle caused the titan student to be knocked out as he then fell to the floor.
Seeing this, the team had to scatter away as Hartmann shoots his improved jet gun at the entire battlefield, hitting anyone that gets in the way. Some of the random first years that joined the fight before had regained consciousness, but then they were met with Hartmann's onslaught.
One of the students, that is known as "Polan", saw the carnage and then immediately challenged Hartmann to fight him one to one. The German glanced at the horse Faunus student before shooting his gun, completely wrecking him.
Meanwhile, Dove and Russel hid behind a table. Dove peek out and saw that Hartmann was targeting the other students. This gives him an opportunity as he grabbed a soda can, shaking it a few times. Despite Russel's protest, Dove immediately ran out of cover. With all his might, he threw the soda can right towards the German at his hill.
Hartmann saw the can coming towards him and simply evade it as it then explodes on the wall. He turn back to Dove, now aiming the gun at him. Dove's eyes wided when his plan failed as he tried to ran back, but he was then shot with a barrage of foods, causing him to fall. Dove then tried to crawl his way to safety, but then his head was hit by a whole Ham, knocking him out.
Russel saw the entire thing and sighed. "I told him that was a bad idea..."
After taking care of the CRDL member, Hartmann then saw Ren and Blake making their way towards him. The Ninja wannabees thought if they use their speed and agility, they might be able to dodge all the attacks, in which they have for the first few moments.
Hartmann kept on firing at the two but Ren and Blake were able to dodge them with ease. He cursed when he was out, so he had to reload fast. This gives Blake and Ren a head start as they quickly made their way to Hartmann's hill.
Seeing that they are now close, Hartmann looked around on what to do as he's reloading. He then saw a couple of watermelons beside a table next to him. Since they couldn't fit in the gun, Hartmann had to leave them be. But now this is a good chance to use them.
Hartmann turn back to see Ren and Blake begin climbing the hill. Hartmann went to one of the melons and kick it down to the two ninjas.
As Blake and Ren were climbing the hill, the former look up and saw the watermelon coming towards them. "Duck!" Blake shouted and ducked down.
"Huh?" Ren looked up, but he was too late when the watermelon crashed into his face whilst knocking him off of the hill. Blake glanced at Ren before turning back to the hill. Hartmann kick down another watermelon at her, but this time Blake was prepared as she sliced it in half with her baguette.
Hartmann then loaded up a new batch of ammo for his jet gun. Though Blake was already halfway and decide to use her sausage gambol shroud in an attempt to pull him off the hill. Hartmann evade the attack as the sausage manage to pull away a melon.
Blake dodged it before attacking again. She missed Hartmann, but the rope manage to pull away most of his ammo. Both of them let out a curse. Blake, when she kept missing her target. Hartmann, when she threw away his stockpile of ammo. He had to end this quick before she depletes the rest of the ammo. Fortunately he has an idea.
Blake readied her sausage for the third time. She saw that Hartmann is just standing there looking at her, hands behind his back. She didn't know what he's doing, but her mind was focused that he was exposed. So she threw her sausage at him, hoping to reach his legs. That is when Hartmann took action as he took out a bottle of soda he was holding behind his back, making the rope to grab it instead.
Blake grit her teeth but soon her eyes went wide when she notices that the soda was filled with the mint candies, ready to burst. Hartmann gave the Faunus a small wave before letting go of the bottle as it then flies away, bringing Blake with it.
The bottle caused Blake to fly down at the hill, right towards Ren. The latter had pull the melon out from his head, before noticing that Blake's gonna crash into him. Again, he reacted too late when the cat Faunus crashed to the black-haired boy, knocking them both out simultaneously.
Hartmann smiled at his victory against the Ninjas, but he then focus his attention on a girl that was running straight ahead. It was Nora, and she looks pretty unhappy that Hartmann had defeated Ren. Hartmann picked up his gun and starts firing at her. Nora dodged them all in a zig-zag move as she kept bolting towards the German.
Seeing this, Hartmann had to prepare to fight her up-close. When Nora reaches the hill, she made big jumps to the tables, eyes on the German. When she made it to his level, she sent a heavy strike on him with her melon hammer, in which he ducked down. Nora sent another strike, but Hartmann dodge it aswell.
The German then counter-attacked and took out his salmon fish that he used to knock out Coco and Velvet. He manage to slap her a few times to the face, though it wasn't enough to knock her out. Hartmann quickly grabbed a can of soda and then placed a mint in it, launching it towards Nora's face.
The girl stumbled with her hands on her face. She look back to Hartmann with a glare, but soon dropped it when Hartmann had his gun aimed at her. He then fired as a turkey came out of it and hit Nora square to the chest, launching her straight to the wall and fell to some of the tables.
"Hahaha!" He let out a triumphant laugh after he had beaten almost everyone of the teams.
Ruby and Pyrrha were hiding behind CFVY's fort the entire time. They observed of how Hartmann is dominating the battlefield with that gun, shooting anyone that is on his crosshair. No one could even stop him, not even the other first years that joined the fight with them.
The Silver-eyed girl and the Red-haired champion glanced at each other and gave a nod. This is the moment that they should not fight against eachother anymore and work together to take down a bigger threat. They just have to figure out how to beat the German.
There spot was under fire for a moment when the two saw a figure jumping into their hideout. It was Russel. The mohawk kid panted after running out of the battlefield and dodging any of the incoming foods fired from the German. He turned to his right and tensed up when Ruby and Pyrrha were there.
Though when he noticed the two weren't attacking him nor at eachother, he relaxed a bit. "So...we're all cool here?"
Ruby gave him a nod. "Hartmann has become too powerful, and we gotta end this once and for all. As now, the three of us will unite as one team. We gotta work together and put that German in place!" She declared, putting a fist on her palm.
"United we stand, ey?" Russel recounted. "I can get behind on that."
"Any ideas on how to defeat him?" Pyrrha asked.
Ruby thought for a moment before an idea sprung up. "I think i do."
Hartmann look around the field for any surviving targets. He knows that there were still three more members left from the four teams. Then he saw Ruby zooming out of her spot and to the middle of the room.
She then points a finger at the German as she declared. "Your reign of power ends here, Hartmann!"
Hartmann couldn't help but chuckle. "And how you are going to do that, little red? I have the high ground!"
Ruby let out a genuine frown when Hartmann used the nickname that Roman gave to her. "Really? You had to call me that?"
"Eh...it doesn't matter!" He then load up the gun, aiming towards the crimson-haired girl. When he fired, Ruby uses her speed to dodge, whilst throwing some of the food right back at him. Though this was actually a distraction.
While Hartmann is busy dealing with Ruby, Russel got out and sprinted towards the hill with a big bottle of soda and some mint candies. When he manage to get close to the hill by hiding behind one of the turned tables, Russel put down the bottle and inserted all the candies inside. He quickly shuts it when the soda starts to fill up the bottle, ready to explode.
Letting out a smirk, he stood up and aim the bottle to Hartmann's hill. "Hey!" Russel shouted to him, gaining his attention and Ruby's. "Suck on this!" He let go of the bottle as it launched straight at Hartmann. What the German doesn't know though, is that Russel wasn't aiming at him, he was aiming to his hill.
Like a rocket, the bottle crashed into the interior of the hill. Moments later, the soda exploded - destroying the hill and bringing Hartmann down. The German stumbled before he fell to the floor with the jet gun next to him.
Seeing that the plan is going well, Ruby called out to Pyrrha. "Now, Pyrrha!"
Pyrrha gave her a nod as she begins to use her semblance. When she place her hand to the ground, a spark was activated until the soda cans all around her begin to lift up. She gathered all of the cans around, mixing them together like a whirlpool. With a flick, she sent all of the cans towards the German.
It was followed with Ruby activating her full potential of her speed semblance as she begin to zoom across the cafeteria, creating a gust of wind that pushes the cans even faster, like a storm that is approaching.
Hartmann stood back up, noticing that Ruby was zooming towards him with the storm of cans behind. He raised his jet gun to shoot her, but Russel uses his own speed to swipe the gun away and land to a safe place.
The now defenseless Hartmann look back to Ruby as she begins to transform to a rose petal with her speed intensified. He braced himself for her attack, but he didn't expect for Ruby to fly past him. His relief was cut short however when the wind starts to carry him through the air.
Ruby finally stop to the end of the wall, creating a huge dent in the process. It was followed with Hartmann crashing into the dent. Ruby smirked before she jumped away from the incoming storm of cans.
Hartmann cleared his head from that crash as he look back up front. He became appalled when the hurricane of cans are heading towards him. Unable to free himself from the dent, he could only watch as the cans went closer and closer.
"SCHEISSE!-" Hartmann was then met with a serious of onslaughts from the cans as it contents begin to splatter across the wall and to himself in various colors of red, blue, yellow, and green.
The German was getting destroyed, not able to escape this vicious onslaught. After a few brutal seconds, the storm of cans had exhausted, leaving the German and the wall in a painted mess.
Strangely, some of the cans were able to create a good replica of Berlin, with each four main contents dominating a region.
The German then slid down from the wall, before falling face first to the floor. He let out a long and painful groan, which was heard by Ruby. She, along with Pyrrha and Russel head over to the downed German.
Hartmann slowly turn around, now laying on his back, and exposing his colorful side. He glance to the three students before taking out a white cloth from his shirt and raised it up.
"Ich gebe auf (I give up)...I surrender." He said, waving the white cloth around.
"Haha! I did it!" Russel let out a triumphant laugh with both of his arms raised up in victory, getting some awkward glances from Ruby and Pyrrha. The mohawk lowered his arms done and cleared his throat. "I-I mean we did it. Of course, we did it."
Though Ruby and Pyrrha did not feel like celebrating when the former come up to the German. "You good?" She asked with a bit of concern. She hoped they didn't went too far with the whole thing.
Hartmann slowly get up to a sitting position. "Well I am colored as a rainbow." He remarked. They all chuckled before Pyrrha gives him a hand as she pull him back up.
Hartmann then look over to the cafeteria and was surprised of the damage they all have done. Luckily that it seems the food fight is already over after he was defeated. As they head over to the center, the rest of the teammates and the other first years had regained consciousness and all stood back up, acknowledging the damage.
Back at the entrance, Sun still stood there with a smile on his face, completely untouched from all that fighting. "I love these guys. Don't you agree?" Sun asked to Neptune.
Though apparently, the blue-haired boy had been drenched with purple soda as he gave his partner a displeasing look.
Suddenly, the doors behind them flew open as an angry Glynda entered the room with a growl. She stopped before using her telekinesis semblance which cause all of the tables to float around. Glynda then starts to re-organize the table from the mess that the students did.
Hartmann was amazed by it. He had never seen her using her semblance for cleaning up big messes. Good thing this means they all won't be punished by cleaning all of the mess.
After setting down the last table back to its position, Glynda turned to the everyone in the room, except Sun and Neptune. "Children, please. Do not play with your food." She instructed in a surprisingly calming manner even though she looked angry just now.
Hartmann, the four teams, and the rest of the first years stood there covered in food and drink, composed themselves from the fight. Just then, Yang crashed down to the floor, getting everyone's attention.
Yang groaned and rubbed her head. "Ugh, what just happen-" She was cut off when one of the turkeys that she used as gauntlets, landed on to her head. The blonde was in a befuddled state before she notice that the turkey had covered her head. She then tries her best to pull it out, and eventually she did, though accidentally launching the turkey into a wall.
The students stared at her, some baffled of what just happened. They all hear a chuckle coming out of Hartmann. Seeing Yang stuck with a turkey on her head got his funny bone tingling. His chuckle was followed with Ruby giggling at her older sister's antic. Yang frowned a bit before she too joins in on the giggling, in which she starts to laugh.
It was soon followed by the rest of team RWBY, then JNPR, then CRDL, and finally CFVY as they start to laugh. Eventually, all the students are now laughing after having such a good food fight.
Nora kept laughing until it caused her to belch very loudly. She quickly covered her mouth and blushed in embarrassment. This cause the laughter to erupt with some having tears coming out of their eyes.
Glynda grumbled at the scene. Then she felt a hand touching her one of her shoulders as she look back to see Ozpin that had entered just now.
"Let it go." Ozpin said, calmly.
Glynda let out a sigh before turning back to the students. "They're supposed to be the defenders of the world." She states.
"And they will be." He assured. "But right now they're still young and are learning. So why not let them enjoy their moments? After all, it isn't a role they'll have forever." He then starts to walk away, leaving Glynda to look at the students laughing and enjoying themselves.
Glynda then stared at Hartmann. She realized that he had never saw the boy this happy and cheerful for the past months he'd been here. She hears his laughs and acknowledges of how sweet it sounds. After all, this boy had been in a brutal and dangerous war back in his home world.
Her heart begins to soften up as she could not help but to smile at the scene.
Perhaps, Ozpin is right. They should enjoy moments like these before their eventful role as true huntsmen.
It was now night time as Emerald, Mercury, and Andre approached an old abandoned warehouse that is currently occupied by white fang members. Most of them were carrying various crates and boxes filled with dusts that they stole and are now moving them out of the bullheads.
After passing by a lot of the white fang members, the trio approach to Roman - currently looking at a map of vale along with his plans on rubbing the dust stores all across the nation.
Noticing their presence, Roman turned to the trio - his eyes went to Andre first. "Ah, Andre. You're back." He then glanced to Emerald and Mercury, letting out a chuckle. "And of course she sent the kids with you again, didn't she?"
Andre rolled his eyes while Mercury and Emerald gave him a frown. "Looks like this is turning out just like the divorce." Roman said, approaching to the two and wraps his arms around their heads.
Andre couldn't help but let out a chuckle. It's also funny that he's the youngest of the group and yet Roman still calls the two 'the kids'.
Both Emerald and Mercury let out a shivers of disgust as they pull away from Roman's arms. "Ugh, spare us the thought of you procreating." Emerald said.
"That was a joke." Roman replied before pulling out a piece of paper, showing it to the three. "And this... just might tell me where you three have been all day."
The trio were surprised that Roman was holding the paper of the address of their previous victim in which Emerald had kept in her pockets.
"What? How did you-"
"I'm a professional, sweetheart." Roman cut her off. "Pay attention and maybe you'll learn something." He then observes the address. "Why do you have this address?"
"Wouldn't you like to know?" Emerald queried.
"Yeah, I would. Now where have you been all day?" Roman asked again.
Andre answered. "Cleaning up the problems that you were tasked to do. Well, one of them atleast."
"You know I had it under control." Roman said.
"Two packed bags and a ticket out of Vale said otherwise." Mercury remarked as Emerald let out a snicker.
Roman frowned at the two. "Listen, you little punk. If it were up to me, I would take you and your little street rat friend here in cuffs and i would-"
"Do what, Roman?" A female voice spoke up overhead, interrupting Roman as he, Mercury, Emerald, and Andre looked up to the platform above. It was the red-dressed woman. She showed herself to the others, revealing her fair skin and her ashen-black hair that usually covers one of her beautiful amber eyes.
Seeing the woman, Roman let out a nervous laugh. "I'd, uh... not kill them?"
Emerald meanwhile smiled at her sight and says her name. "Cinder!"
Cinder then steps on the automated lift of the platform, sending her down to their level. She then stepped out of it and walks over to Roman. "I thought I made it clear that you would eliminate the would-be runaway." Cinder said.
"I was going to." Roman responded.
"He was going to escape to Vacuo." Emerald interjected. "Mercury and I decided to take it upon ourselves to kill the rat."
"I think he was some sort of cat, actually." Mercury assumed.
"What, like a puma?"
"Yeah man, there you go."
Andre joined in the conversation. "I decide to join them aswell to make this task faster. Unfortunately we were just too slow." He said while glancing to the two, blaming the last part on them.
"Hey. We just got a little lost, alright?" Emerald argued to the hooded man with a frown. "And besides, we didn't know the runaway would put up such a good fight."
"Yeah and if you weren't there, i would've been the one to kill him." Mercury chimed in, still mad about Andre's kill steal.
"Well be glad i was there or else you two would have gone to jail." Andre countered.
"Quiet!" Cinder interjected gaining the three's attention. "Did I not specifically instruct you three to keep your hands clean while in Vale?" As she said that, Roman points a finger at them while laughing in agreement.
Emerald tried to reason with her. "We just thought-"
"Don't think...Obey." Cinder cut her off while Roman gestures a 'you're dead' symbol by slitting his throat with his fingers, earning a glare from Andre.
Nonetheless, Emerald obliged and give her a small nod. "Yes, ma'am. It won't happen again."
"And you..." Cinder turned back to Roman, the latter letting out a nervous chuckle. "Why wasn't this job done sooner?"
"Uh...Eh?" Roman spoke up, pointing his cane to the boxes by his right.
"Eh!?" He did it again to his left with even more boxes.
"EHHHHH!?" He shouts while gesturing to all of the boxes and containers of dusts behind him.
"Sorry if I've been busy stealing every speck of Dust in the Kingdom!" Roman retorted.
"You're an inspiration to every punk with a gun and a ski mask." Mercury remarked as Emerald giggled.
"Look around, kid. I've got this town running scared! Police camping out at every corner, Dust prices through the roof, even got the VDF roped into it, and we're sitting pretty on an old warehouse with more Dust crystals, vials, and rounds than we know what to do with!" Roman explained while turning around with his arms spread to the containers of dusts behind him.
He then turn back around to the four figures, hands behind his back. "Speaking of which, if you guys wouldn't mind filling me in on your grand master plan, it might actually make my next string of robberies go a bit more smoother!" He emphasizes the last word by clenching his fist while still remembering the incident by the docks.
"Oh, Roman. Have a little faith." Cinder said as he approached the bowler hat man. Shen then placed her right hand on his left cheek, rubbing it lightly. "You'll know what you need when you need to know it." Roman seems entranced with it before turning away with a grunt.
Though her action raised some weird looks from Andre and Mercury while Emerald look a little jealous.
"Is she...flirting with him?" Andre whispered.
"Heh, probably." Mercury replied with a chuckle.
Cinder then pull away as she continued. "Besides, we're done with Dust."
"Okay...What now?" Roman asked.
"We're moving." Cinder said as she then turned around and walk away. "Have the White Fang clear out this building. I'll send you the details and coordinates tonight."
Roman raised his eyebrow. "Coordinates?"
"We're proceeding to phase two." She stated, looking back to Roman before leaving the warehouse with Mercury, Emerald, and Andre following her. As they are leaving, Roman takes out one of his cigar and lighter to light it up. However he couldn't find it anywhere in his pockets.
He then heard a click as he look back up to see that Emerald had stolen his lighter without him noticing, just like what he did with the address he took from her.
Emerald sticks her tongue out - showing Roman that she's far more skilled in pickpocketing. She then toss the lighter back to him before catching up to the rest, leaving Roman to grumble that he got one-upped.
As they left the warehouse and make their way to the Bullhead reserved for them, Andre stopped when he remembered that some of his stuff were still there.
"You guys wait for me. I am gonna get the rest of my things." Andre informed them as he turn back to the warehouse, but he stopped when Cinder spoke up.
"Actually, you're staying." This cause the hooded man to turn back to the woman and noticed she was the only one that stopped while Mercury and Emerald were already by the bullhead.
"Huh?" Andre stared at her, an eyebrow raised.
"I said that you're staying here and keep an eye on Roman." Cinder recited.
"What?!" Andre exclaimed.
Cinder rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Gods, do you act that same way to your own team back in your world?"
Andre ignored it and focus on the main topic. "What's going on here, Cinder? I thought we're in this together with this plan." He demand an answer.
"Yeah, there's a change of plans. Apparently it suits best if only the three of us are part of it." She simply said.
Andre took offense of that. "Are you saying that i am not capable of it?"
"With that attitude, yes. Besides you'll stand out than the rest of us since you aren't from here after all. People will get suspicious of us and the plan'll fail before we even begin." Andre grew angry at her as she continued. "So i think it's best for you if you stay here and keep an eye on that criminal 'mastermind' and those Faunus rapscallions."
"I am not staying with those bastards again." Andre refused.
Cinder frowned. "You keep forgetting who you're talking to, don't you?" Andre ignored the remark and was about to take out his pistol at the woman as a show of force to her. But Cinder was one step ahead of him.
With a simple click, her now-healed hand materializes a ball of fire, only this time it was slightly bigger. Then her right eye begin to flicker a bit before fire starts to materialize around the eye.
Andre immediately stopped when Cinder showed her own force. He had seen Cinder using her fire powers before, but not to this extent. He look to her fiery eye and is stunned of how Cinder wasn't fazed or hurt by it.
Andre could even feel the fire slowly approaching to him as the heat begin to increase. He let out a rasped breath as his arm that's holding the pistol was shaking. He tried to keep cool, not wanting to give in to the woman and her fiery powers.
To Cinder's perspective, she knew that Andre was intimidated. She mentally laughed to herself as this is not even it's final form of what she can do to him. Looking at his eyes, she could already tell he was scared, and judging by his body language - it doesn't seem he wants to see it that way.
"So, are you still gonna shoot me with that gun of yours?" Cinder taunted with a smile.
Andre kept staring at her, not knowing what he should do. After a few seconds, the standoff ended as Andre exhaled through his nose and put his gun away. "Okay, you win..." He said bitterly.
Cinder smirked before the fire on her palm and around her right eye begin to die out. "Good. You better give us updates on their progress." She said before turning serious and took a step forward to him. "Do not disobey me ever again."
With that, Cinder turn back to the Bullhead, leaving Andre by himself as he kept watching her getting into the pilot seat before the Bullhead then took off elsewhere away from the warehouse.
Andre now stared at the night sky as he then sighed. "Fine..." He accepted her order before speaking in another language. "Wie Sie wünschen..."
And there you have it!
Looks like Andre is revealed to be German. So now we've got two Germans in Remnant. The good one and the bad one. What will happen when they meet?
Anyways, guys. This was currently one of the hardest fights to write, especially when you had to add in more members to make it chaotic and exciting. For the past ten months, i've been stuck on how this fight will flow. But now i have finally done it and damn it took so damn long.
Btw, i did not make up Cardin's semblance. I saw it on a tumblr post when i went to google "RWBY Cardin semblance" and the post seems pretty dandy. So i borrow it and use it in my fanfic.
