Aleksander drove for some time before he took me back to the dorm room that I lived in as he led me in there then knocked on the door as Nadia answered. She seen I was uncomfortable but she seemed worried too. "Thank you for bringing her back." Nadia said as I smiled at her. Aleksander had his arm around me though that was for the fact I'd already chosen as he removed his arm. "No problem." He said then he turned to me as he leaned in close as my heart beat fast and though Nadia was there I leaned in too as we shared a kiss. When he pulled away he smirked "Good night Amira." He said before he left
When I looked at Nadia she gave a knowing Smile as I looked at her but I knew I didn't want to hear it as I went over to the desk with all the makeup homework and got ready. I didn't care what they said but then I heard Nadia going over talking to Marie. Neither approached me till I was done and with their notes I was able to get caught up as I relaxed later before we decided to order delivery for dinner and I went to the living room to watch tv.
Marie and Nadia walked over sitting beside me as I was holding the remote when I decided to look at both of them. Marie was first to grab my hand to look at the ring on my hand as she looked at me curiosly then Nadia took it as she smiled. "So that's what the kiss was about.." She said as I smiled. "There was another ring offered..by Billy." I said as I described it but they both agreed they liked the one on my hand much better. Theye realized what it meant to wear it as I was not going to be able to do everything.
"So Aleksander Morozova..is your fiancé..so Billy.." nefore Nadia finished that thought I sighed "Billy can have me when Aleksander says so but right now he is not. I'm to be with both of them." I said as we were busy but then our order came soon enough as we went to pay for it but then the man said it was already paid for. I thought that was odd but then I realized what had just happened so I was going to have to tell him to stop it. Still we ate without a care at that moment then went to bed.
When we came to our college class and turned our homework into the bin as we took our seats I soon seen Aleksander walk in. He walked right over to me as he smirked before he took my hand in his and had me stand. "I hope you're ok with what happened yesterday." He said as I looked at him "Don't pay for my things..I can manage my own." I said as he looked at me "I did not mean to overstep if that is what you meant." He said but then Andrew walked in and seen us.
I disliked Andrew a lot though the man tried to ask me out before and while it was really just Nico, me, Andrew and Aleksander in the room I felt Aleksander pull me close and kiss me. I shouldn't have been surprised but this was infront of my best friend as I kissed him back. When we pulled away I looked over seeing Andrew looking jealous and angry but I didn't care as I just took my seat.
Class started and things were as usual but when we were walking to a next class Nicolas walked by me. "What was that about with you and the Godmother's son.." Nicolas asked as I raised my hand with the ring as he looked shock. I didn't have a lot to say but then things were going as usual. That when Lunch happened I was heading out to buy something but what I noticed was Aleksander was parked ready for me as he motioned for me to come on and get in as I did and we drove off.
"This isn't funny..my life is not a game." I said as he sighed but kept driving "You have no idea how much bigger this was, do you? If you didn't choose soon the enemy area was going to try to move in and remove you." He said his tone of anger easily taken noted of as I was curious. "Andrew is the son of another mafia, he was to get close to you but he easily annoyed you and then I joined in when we found you." Aleksander said as I realized something was off.
In fact Aleksander made a quick turn and his speed increased on the car that I realized something..we were being followed. I looked in the mirror seeing the car that was following us was Andrew's car. Aleksander looked serious as he looked at me from the corner of his eyes "Buckle up..we won't be going back to the college today." He said as I did just that.
I'm caught in the middle of something bigger.. I thought
Aleksander took roads fast that I covered my eyes out of fear but when I removed my hands for a second I seen the radio change to a calling video. It was black at first before the image of Billy showed up on the screen. "Aleks, what is it?" Billy said then seen I was in the car. "Hey Amira." Aleksander was focused on the road "Billy, go to the college and get Nadia, Marie and Nicolas. I have Amira..we have unwanted company from the other group that's against ours. The brotherhood..his son." Aleksander said as Billy's expression changed to hate hearing about the The brotherhood. "If you have Amira, why do I have to get those three?!" Billy asked as Aleksander was still trying to evade Andrew and it was getting dangerous. "Because Billy, they're her friends! Now get them and don't ask again." He said hanging up from his brother
Aleksander sped up even more before we entered an area that was dark as I seen him use his shadows to surround us and he seemed to be focusing as if he could see through them. He made another call and soon I seen Baghra on the screen. "Aleksander what is it?" Baghra said as I was innerly panicking. "The Brotherhood, they're in the area. Her family is not safe..now that the son of their boss knows I have her." Aleksander said as Baghra kept her composure calm "We will get them to safety you just get you and Amira to the safe house." Baghra said then hung up.
Does no one say bye in this family? I thought
When we were a good distance he removed the shadows as he drove but I laid back in my chair. I realized I'd gotten everyone connected to me into something much bigger.
