The next morning I was once again sleeping peacefully. I was out cold, dreaming about the stars dad showed me when I was a kid, until. . .

SMASH!

My eyes shot wide open as I heard something shatter on impact as my mother started screaming angrily at my dad. . . again.

"I can't believe that you slept with an imp, in OUR FUCKING BED!"

"It was unexpected! I didn't have time to go to a motel.

"A motel?! Like a fucking PLEBEIAN?!

I let out a long goarn of annoyance as I sat up in my bed. I put in my earbubs right before grabbing my phone and played a song that reflected how I was feeling at that moment as well as to tone them out. I then got out of bed, got dressed, and stroud down the halls, stepping over the remains of a smashed plant that was thrown in my path.

"You want to fuck this one, TOO!" Mother yelled as she threw an imp that served our family right at dad.

"No! Of course not!" Dad yelled in defense as I got seated and started getting breakfast ready.

"You're a goddamn embarrassment! I'm not spending another moment looking at your pathetic, IMP-Sucking FACE!" Mother yelled at him one last time before storming off and shouting in anger while smashing more potted plants.

"Good mooorning, Octavia! Did you sleep well, my owlet?

"Was that a serious question?" I asked sleepily and annoyed.

"Mm-hmm. . . what's that your listening too?"

"This songs called "My World is Burning Down Around Me" It's by Fuck You Dad."

Dad looked down thinking I was giving him a hurtful remark, but clearly he didn't understand what I said.

"It's a band," I said, catching him up to speed.

It was actually pretty ironic that I was listening to this specific song the day after I met my first and only real friend ever. He probably thinks that I'm smiling happily, not caring about my mother's party addiction and my dad dealing with his duties but the truth is that was not my only problem. This was too.

Them arguing with each other and leaving me to bare witness to it. He doesn't know about that because I refused to tell him and I don't really plan on it anytime soon. Speaking of Alex, I just realized that I didn't give him my phone number so we can call each other if needed.

"I guess I'll give it to him later today," I thought to myself before the sound of dad's voice took me away from my thoughts.

"Ohhhh! How charming. . ."

I watched as Dad fed his pet plant a giant piece of zebra meat before petting it.

"So, you two done screaming for the day? I asked before taking a sip of coffee I made for myself.

Just then I heard mother scream as she shattered another plotted plant.

I guess not.

"You know what I haven't done in a long, loooong time? I haven't taken you to your favorite place in all of Hell! Why don't we go to Loo Loo Land?" Dad asked in excitement.

I sat there with the same expression on my face, not excited like I would of been years ago.

"I'm not five anymore," I replied in annoyance.

"You always were so happy when I took you to Loo Loo Land! What do you say we go there again, have a day, just the two of us?"

That actually didn't sound bad. Spending time with dad, but ughhhh not in Loo Loo Land.

"I'd. . . rather kill myself," I said not bothering to say anything else about the offer.

"There we go! Anything but staying in this house. Now, I'll arrange our security."

"Security for a theme park?" I asked confused.

"We're rich, and we're hot. People want our money and our bodies," dad said as he grabbed the phone from the imp that mother threw earlier.

"Our money maybe," I replied as I grabbed a box of cereal and started shoveling handfuls of cereal into my beak.

"Speak for yourself, princess. Now. . . I'm calling the only man who can fuck me!"

"What. . .?" I asked in disgust as some cereal fell out of my hand.

"Who can protect me! Us! Being part of the Goetia family is rather valuable, you know."

I immediately groaned as I pulled my beanie down over my eyes not wanting to look at him at the moment.

"There goes my plans for the day," I thought to myself.

A few seconds passed, so I took my beanie away from my eyes and started drinking my coffee. . . which was a mistake.

"Why, hello, my big-dicked Blitzy."

I instantly spit out my coffee and started coughing before looking at dad in disgust and disbelief.

"What the fuck dad!" I yelled at him still in shock.

"Language, everyone!" dad said to me and the imp on the phone before going back to his phone call. "I have a special request."

I cringed as he continued to speak in a lust filled tone. I started to shove handfuls of cereal into my beak just to get my mind off of it as I turned up the volume of my phone to maximum, hoping to drown him out.

I jumped as I felt a hand touch my shoulder. I looked up and saw that it was just dad.

"They should be here in a few minutes or so. So go ahead and finish eating as I get dressed," he said with a smile.

"Sure," I said in the same tone from this morning.

Dad took his hand off my shoulder and started walking out of the kitchen only to stop as the phone rang. He turned around, grabbed it, and answered it real quick.

"Hello. . . oh why Blitzy it's good to hear from you so soon," he said in a flirty tone.

"Oh, kill me now," I muttered.

"What is it that you want?" he asked in a lustful tone once again.

I slammed my head down on the table before hitting it repeatingly in annoyance and disgust.

"Oh, well I'm not really allowed to do that Blitzy. But of course, I'm willing too, but it will cost you."

At this point, I just had my face laying down on the table, not doing anything but sitting there trying to ignore him.

"Okay, I'll see you soon Blitzyyyyyy. Oh, what a man."

"You know what, I'm not hungry. I'm just going to sit outside and wait," I said before jumping out of my seat and pratcally running outside.

"Um, okay then, Via," dad said just as confused as I was.

I slammed the door behind me as I walked outside the palace, and sat down on the steps. I let out a sigh as I looked up at the sky and thought about my life. I'm only seventeen and my life is already over. My mother screaming her head off while dad sleeps with an imp. Worst of all, is that I'm stuck, trapped, and forced to listen to it.

That's all that I am now. A witness, rather I wanted to be one or not. I'm just there and nothing else.

I looked up as I heard a van pull up the yard and three imps walked out of it. One of them was talking to someone else in the van while the other two walked over towards me just as dad came outside wearing a Loo Loo Land shirt with blue shorts.

"Ah, Blitzy it's sooo good to see you."

I cringed again as I scratched the steps in annoyance. By the Heavens it was like he was trying to annoy me today.

"Uh, hey Stolas," he replied in frustration.

"So, this is your little crew?" he asked as he tilted his head.

"Yes, the slut, is Millie, and the dip shit is Moxxie," Blitz replied, sounding happier to insult them than to be talking to dad.

"Oh, well wasn't there supposed to another body guard? A sinner right?"

I gave dad a confused look. Why would anyone want to work for this red asshole and aren't sinners trapped in the Pride Ring? How are they supposed to come with us to Loo Loo Land?

"There is, he's just. . . well I don't really know. Hey kid, get out here!" he yelled demandingly.

I didn't bother looking at them. I just stayed put, playing on my phone.

"Ah, you're a handsome young man," I heard dad say, in another flirty way.

I cringed while trying desperately not to lose it, but it was extremely hard.

"Thanks," he replied, not sure how to take the "compliment."

His voice sounded familiar though, but it couldn't be who I thought it was. . . right? I didn't have time to think about it though as dad placed his hand on my shoulder snapping me out of it.

"Blitzy, the rest of you. There's someone I would like for you to meet," dad said happily.

I put my headphones away, stood up, and looked at them with a frown on my face as dad tried to introduce me.

"This is my beautiful daughter, Oc-" he started only to be interrupted by the same voice that said "thanks."

"Octavia?"

My eyes shot open as I not only recognized the voice now that I was actually paying attention, but also saw who it was. I looked at him with pure shock on my face and so did he. Everyone else was confused as why we were staring at each other in surprise.

"Alex?" I asked in disbelief. "You're the sinner coming with us to Loo Loo Land?"

"Yes, and you're a Goetia?" he asked in shock.

"I am," I told him, not sure what else to say.

"Via, how do you know this sinner?" dad asked angrily. "Wait, no let me guess. He's the one you've been with all day yesterday isn't he?"

I nodded in response. Dad stood there for a second before walking towards Alex.

"Dad, take it easy," I said, worried about what he'll do.

Dad grabbed him by the jacket and lifted him up so they were face to face.

"You better not lay a single hand on my daughter, and you better not have done anything to her, or else-"

"Or else what?" he asked, not intimidated.

"Or else, you would wish that you were exterminated during the extermination process," dad said getting angrier by the moment.

Alex's facial expression didn't change. He kept the same frown on his face, not daring to show any sign of fear.

"She's standing right there isn't she?" he asked, confusing dad.

"What?" he asked tighting his grip.

"Dad, please stop," I begged but he didn't budge.

"Why in Satan's name would you say that to me, boy?" dad asked angrily.

"Because, what could I possibly do to her?"

Dad gave him a confused look, neither one of us knowing where he was going with this.

"I couldn't do anything to her," he said making dad think for a second.

"Hmm, and why's that boy?" he asked while studying his facial expressions.

"Because, I couldn't hurt anyone that I like."

Dad dropped him on the ground and looked down at him. Alex looked up, with a blank look on his face.

"Just watch yourself, boy," he threatened him before turning his attention to me.

"Come, Via, let's get seated."

"Sure, dad," I said before offering Alex my hand.

He took it without a second thought, and I helped him to his feet.

"Thanks," he said with a smile.

"Don't mention it," I said in a depressed tone.

"Are you okay?" Alex asked in concern.

"I should ask you the same thing," I said in anger.

"I was fine, but now I'm worried about you," he said, trying to stay calm.

I sighed before answering him politely.

"I'm fine, Alex, it's just. . ."

"Just what?"

"Nothing, forget about it," I said before walking off towards the van with my dad.

"No, something's wrong," he said not believing me, because of course he knows that I'm lying.

"Just forget about it, please?" I begged him, not wanting to discuss this in front of my father and three imps.

"Octavia."

"What?" I asked in annoyance as I glared at him.

"Please, talk to me," he said emotionally.

"Not, now," I said to him before entering the van and sitting next to my father.

I felt bad, just leaving him there, after being rude to him, but I just. . . couldn't talk to him about it at this point of time. Now I had another feeling washing over me and that was regret, but I didn't do or say anything to make it go away.

Alex soon entered, sitting next to me. He looked at me in concern. I had to look down at floor, as I still felt bad about earlier. I felt like I was going to cry in discomfort as the tension builds up. When I did look at him, he was staring out of the window, probably because he knew how uncomfortable I felt or because of how dad was staring at him, or it could be both.

"So, Blitz's says that you can grant me access to any of the other rings in Hell, is that true? Alex asked, possibly to break the silence.

"Why, yes I can. Any member of the Goetia family can do that for anyone. And speaking of you, what exactly is your intentions with my daughter and what did you two do yesterday?"

"Dad!" I yelled in embarrassment.

"What? If I'm going to just grant a sinner access to the Greed Ring, which by the way is something I'm not supposed to do, then I need to know more about him, like his intentions with you," dad said, not taking his four eyes off of Alex.

Despite all of this, Alex wasn't scared. I don't know if he was trying to be cool or if death made it impossible for him to be scared by dad, but he replied in a way that no one else would dare to say.

"Well I was thinking about kidnapping her and holding her for a ransom. I haven't really thought of the amount I want, but I'm sure, I'll think of something," he said sarcastically making dad jump up at him in anger.

"Dad, no!" I yelled just as the van got out of control for a few seconds.

"Be careful back there!" Blitz yelled out in anger.

I didn't pay him attention. I was occupied with my dad and friend. Hoping that dad wouldn't hurt him or worse.

"You got some big balls to be talking to me like that, boy," he said, angrily as he dug his claws into the seat.

"Dad, calm down. It's supposed to be our day together, remember?" I asked, trying to calm him down, even placing my hand on his arm.

Dad looked at me and took a deep breath.

"You're right, my owlet. Today's about us spending father, daughter time together and that's what we're going to do," he said happily, forgetting about the outburst.

I was relieved that he was able to quickly change his behavior. I looked at Alex and frowned at him, but he just smiled innocently. I shook my head in disapproval before sitting back down and tried my best to enjoy the ride.

Dad was bouncing in his seat, excited about the trip while I obviously was not and I knew that Alex knew that. It would of been so much easier if he wasn't here but here he is and now it's going to be ten times worse.

"Hold still, boy," dad suddenly said as he brought a hand close to Alex's face.

"Dad. . ." I said, making sure he wasn't doing anything stupid.

"Don't worry, Via. I'm just giving him access," he said calmly as he placed his hand on Alex's forehead.

Blue and purple lights started to glow around him for one minute, before disappearing, allowing dad to take his hand away from him.

"That was. . . weird," he said as he blinked uncontrollably.

"Are, you okay?" I asked, worried about him.

"Yeah, just light headed."

"It will go away soon. In the meantime, just sit there and enjoy the ride," dad instructed him.

"Okay," he said laying his head back in the seat.

I sighed in relief before looking at the ceiling. I still wasn't excited and just wanted to go home, but I couldn't, not at this point anyway.

We arrived at Loo Loo Land after what felt like hours. As soon as one of the imps opened the door dad excitedly got out of the van. I followed him, but quickly stopped to look at the the place, cringing in the process. When I fully got out of the van, dad smiled at me while wearing an apple-them hat. He then made a gesture towards the open gates, which I replied by pulling my beanie down over my eyes and groaning.

I felt some weight on me as I started walking inside. I turned my head and saw Alex holding onto me, trying to keep his balance.

"Still light headed, I see," I said before helping him.

"Yeah, say when were you able to duplicate yourself?" he asked as if he was drunk.

"Dad, what exactly did you do?" I asked in concern as I tried to keep him from falling.

"I told you, Via. I gave him access to the Greed Ring," he said, smiling at me. "It's just part of the side-effects. It should were off soon, trust me. Now let's go have some fun."

I sighed in annoyance before helping Alex walk.

"I got it, Octavia. Just go inside and try to have some fun," he said as he tried to stand up and walk on his own.

"Are you sure?" I asked not letting go of his arm.

"Yeah, see, I'm fine," he replied as he clumsily walked towards Blitz.

"Okay, then, but if you need help just ask," I told him before walking towards dad.

Dad smiled as we both walked inside with Alex and the three imps walking right behind us.

"Now, remember: this is work and work only. Me and my crew are not here to satisfy your perverted bird needs, alright."

"Well, I'm sure as hell not," Alex said under his breath.

"Yeah, well you're still not part of my crew yet, so you can satisfy his perverted bird needs if you want, but not me," Blitz said grinding his teeth together.

Alex flipped him off, while I was ultimately disgusted by the words that came out of his mouth, but I still tried to talk to dad, despite what Blitz just said.

"Hey. . . Dad. . . Do we have to--?"

"Okay, yeah. Hold on right there sweetie," Blitz interrupted me before turning to my dad. "If you try fuckin' my little ass in that park, I swear to--"

"You are so cute when you are serious!"

"I'm literally going to be sick," I said in disgust as I just witnessed my dad flirt with that imp.

I felt Alex place his hand on my shoulder as Moxxie- I think his name was- started freaking out.

"Oh, crumbs! I knew today would be a lot! What do you need?" he asked as he started fishing through a fanny pack.

Alex took his hand off my shoulder and stared at Moxxie as he threw out several pill bottles as he listed off his inventory.

"Anti-acids? Ibuprofen?" he asked as he showed me several hypodermic needles of a glowing, acid-green substance. "Morphin?"

"It was figurative, old man," I said in annoyance before walking away.

"Oh, right. But, she said it was literal."

I rolled my eyes at the last part before looking around the place. All the memories were coming back to me. . . unfortunately. And that's when the mascot showed up, making the old man jump in fear.

"AAAAAH!"

"I'm Loo Loo! Welcome to Loo Loo Land! If y'all get hurt here, just try and sue us!"

"Why does that sound familiar?" Alex asked himself.

"Look! Via! It's Loo Loo!" dad gasped in excitement as he talked to me as if I was still five years old.

I didn't pay that any attention as I had a sudden thought come to my head.

"I have a question," I said to the mascot.

"Well, ask away little girlie! A-hyuk a-hyuk a-hyuk!"

"Oh, now I know why," Alex said with a frown.

"Is it true this park is just a really shameless spin-off of Licifer's far more popular Lu Lu World?" I asked while smirking.

"No?"

"This place reeks of insecure corporate shame," I said, losing interest in this place all over again.

"Hey that reminds me of a certain company back on Earth," Alex said as he used the two married imps to balance himself.

I heard dad chuckle nervously before grabbing my arm.

"Why don't we go check out the rides?" he asked while leading me away from the mascot.

"That chick's creepy, huh?" I heard Loo Loo ask.

I rolled my eyes not caring what he has to say.

"Says the giant apple that looks like he eats babies," Alex said angrily.

If I wasn't practically being forced to come here or if I didn't feel depressed and pissed off then I would have been laughing at Alex's response but I just walked with dad, with a frown glued on my face, and Blitz's words didn't help either.

"Eh, wait till her dad tries to diddle your holes."

I covered my beak in disgust as I started feeling stick to my stomach.

"You okay?" dad asked me.

"Yes," I forced myself to say as I tried not to get sick. "No, need to worry."

"Okay, Via," dad said, before looking for a ride for us to try out.

I looked behind me and saw that the imps were having their own conversation and getting ready to ride some rides while Alex was using whatever he could to maintain balance. I walked up to him and grabbed his arm and helped him walk.

"Thanks, Octavia."

"Don't mention it," I said in annoyance.

"Are you finally going to tell me what's wrong with you?"

Despite being weak, he still came across as serious and worried. I could feel him staring at me, waiting for me to answer him.

"I told you, I'm fine," I lied, not wanting to talk about it, at least not to him, not right now.

"I know, we've only known each other for almost a day now, but that doesn't mean that I can't tell when you're lying, and being light headed doesn't make it any easier for you" he said making me look down at the ground nervously.

"What do you want from me Alex?" I asked, trying to enhance my calm.

"The truth, but most importantly I want to see you smile."

That got me. I had to force myself not to show any form of emotion. I didn't even know what to say to that. How could I? How could anyone?

I felt two arms wrap around me making my eyes widen. I didn't have to look at him to know who it was. I didn't feel any feathers and non of the imps would just hug me randomly.

"It's okay," he said calmly.

I didn't say a single word nor did I react in any way. I just stood there letting him hug me as I was thinking to myself. I could feel dad's presence as Alex kept his arms wrapped around me. I was honestly surprised that dad wasn't freaking out or anything negative or over protecting. He just stood there staring at us.

I suddenly felt Alex let go of me, but he didn't leave me. He stood there, right behind me, waiting for me to say or do something. I wanted to say something but I couldn't as I still had no words. That was the first time he hugged me and it was to comfort me. I don't exactly know how he knew that I was upset, but I did know that I didn't have to tell him, in order for him to know that something was wrong.

"You know instead of showing us your comforting skills, why don't you actually show me your gun skills you were telling me about," Blitz said as he looked around the area.

Alex pulled out a gun and shot an imp that was sneaking up behind dad right in the eye. Black blood spewed all over the ground and on the back of my dad's head, since the imp jumped at him, before getting shot.

"Eh, could be better," Blitz said bluntly.

"Yeah, right. Like you. . . can. . . oh God," Alex replied earning some glares at some random imps.

He then ran towards a trash can almost falling twice, but he managed to get there and started throwing up. I cringed at the site as well as the sounds. It sounded rough and way worse than the times I got sick.

Ironically the time he started throwing up was the exact same time when the other male imp started throwing up, after riding a rollercoaster.

"Are, you okay?" I asked Alex as I patted him on the back.

"No," he said, weakly. "My head hurts and my stomach feels empty. And my whole body feels like it's on fire."

"Dad, you promise you didn't do anything else, besides giving him access to this poor damned ripoff of a them park," I asked glaring at him.

"Well, I did give him access to the Greed Ring. . . and the rest of the rings," he said with a smile. "That's why it's so rough on you boy, one would just be like a quick daze while the rest are, well what you've been experiencing."

Alex stared at dad in disgust and anger but didn't say anything, and judging for how bad he was doing, I don't think he could.

"Here's some money, go get yourself something to drink, you must be parched," dad said in amusement as he waved a ten dollar bill around in his hand.

I face plamed at dad's behavior, while Alex slowly stood up, weakly walked over towards dad and yanked the dollar out of his hand. He bought himself a bottle of water and started chugging it down. Some of the water fell from his lips to his jacket, but he didn't seem to care.

Dad on the other hand was just chuckling, finding it funny to put him through that mess. I frowned at him, but he didn't seem to notice so we just started walking around the them park some more as that red fuck head was checking the area, aiming at certain spots with the rifle in his arms.

"You know, it's quite thrilling to see you on the job, Blitzy," dad said, once again flirting with that annoying, red asshole.

He even stroked his horn right in front of me as if I was invisible.

"Save it, bitch. I'm working."

"You both need to get a room," I said in disgust.

"Hay! I'm not a day-hooker," Blitz replied before a woman with a baby glared at him before leaving in a huff. "What? I just said I'm not one, prude!"

He flipped her off.

"That's probably why she's offended," Alex said with a laugh.

"Oh, fuck you," Blitz replied, angrily while now flipping him off.

"Sorry, Blitzy, but I'm not into that."

Blitz frowned at him, tighting his grip on his rifle.

"Don't call me Blitzy," he told him through grinding teeth.

"I'll try," he said, before walking off, trying not to laugh while eating a piece of meat.

"Where, did you get that? I only gave you enough money for water," dad asked him suspiciously.

"I got hungry, so I stole it," he said before he continued to eat the piece of meat.

Dad stared at him before turning around and mumbling something under his breath as he stood in place, but I couldn't make out what it was. I glared at Alex; I couldn't believe he just did that infront of dad of all people, but I honestly shouldn't be surprised at this point.

"What?" he asked, confused.

"Nothing," I said not wanting to argue over stolen food.

I then felt dad wrap his arm around me and pulled me close as he excitedly pointed at a circus tent. I stared at the tent in horror as my body started to tense up.

"You used to cry such tears of joy at this show!"

The only thing I could say was "Oh, no" while a memory came to my head. I was five and scared as I saw it on stage. The other kids pushed me towards it as it sparked and crackled maniacally as it leaned over me, making me break down into tears.

"I hate that fucking clown," Blitz and I said at the exact same time, before dad called out for him.

"Oh, Blitzy- I need my bodyguard please!"

I looked at dad who has been captured and hoisted in the air by a group of imps. His arms were bound and his head was being covered by a cloth sack. They had various weapons pointed at him, one of them even stole his wallet.

Dad didn't seem concerned, in fact he seemed glad that this was happening just so his imp can save him, which is exactly what he did. He shot one imp in the torso, covering dad in blood, making the rest of the imps drop dad and his wallet as they scattered.

We then entered the tent, well Blitz was carrying dad while Alex and I walked in ourselves. I quickly found a seat and sat down with Alex sitting next to me, drinking a soda. I didn't pay it any attention nor did I look at dad as Blitz sat him down, with the blood soaked sack still on his head. I grabbed it and annoyingly ripped it off of his head, just as the show started.

"Hey-hey-hey-heyyy, Implings! It's me, the Robotic Fizzarolli!"

"And parents said that Ronald Macdonald was too scary for kids."

I raised an eyebrow at Alex not having a single clue what he was talking about.

"Shipped from Big Ozzize's factory to bring you a wonderful show to celebrate Loo Loo Land, spelled with Os, to avoid lawsuits! H-H-H-H-H-Hit it!"

That's when the stage lights turned on and pointed at the damn clown as it began to. . . dance and. . . sing.

"Loo Loo Land, Loo Loo Land! Everybody sing along with the Loo Loo band"

The curtains opened up at the "band" part showing said band that composed of various hideous decrepit animatronics.

"Ev'ry boy, ev'ry girl, ev'ry woman, ev'ry man loves Loo Loo Laand!"

The clown then went around pointing and gesturing at various demons in the audience. Dad got excited when the clown got close to him, only for that red fuck head to point his rifle at him, making him dash away and thank the Heaven's he did.

"Loo Loo Land, Loo Loo Land! Everything is beautiful at Loo Loo Land! Ugly children holdin' hands in Loo Loo Laand!"

Alex laughed at the "ugly children" part while the clown grabbed some imp children from the audience and wrapped them into his arms before jumping into the air and tossing them away. Most of them slammed into the bleachers while one soared behind them.

I started scratching the seat in annoyance due to the annoying song but tried my best not to lose it but that's easier said than done, especially since the song was still going!

"Everybody's friendly. And nobody is mean."

As the song continues, the clown, went and hugged one of the animatronics so tight that it's neck broke a bit more than it already was, before dashing over to that two-headed, banjo-playing bear animatronic and slapped it on the back, causing it to squirt a stream of oil from its bigger head at the face of an imp who tried to block out the music with music of his own.

Alex and I both cringed at the sight while dad was still smiling, watching, and enjoying the show, not noticing the sight or decided not comment on it, which was welcomed.

The clown all of a sudden started dumping a gasoline canister on a large stack of cease-and-desist papers that came right the fuck out of nowhere as he sung, "No copyright infringement's ever seen!"

It then lit a match and threw it along with the canister on the papers setting the whole thing ablaz. I noticed Alex's good eye light up at the fire which confused me a bit, but I didn't really think about it too much.

"I have a dream. . ."

("He has a dream").

"I'm here to tell. . ."

("He's here to tell")

"About a magical, fantastic place called Loo Loo Laaaaand!"

I continued to sit there and absorbed the musical with disgusted boredom. I literally have never been so bored in my life until now, but of course dad was enjoying the show, smiling like a two year old while Alex tilted his head as if he was looking at something familiar.

After some time I threw my head back in torment as I started banging my fist on the seat next to me, while dad was gleefully clapping to the music as it was STILL going!

"--body sing along with the Loo Loo band! Ev'ry boy, ev'ry girl, ev'ry woman, ev'ry man loves Loo Loo Laaaaand!"

With that the show was FINALLY over! A small pyrotechnic displays as the clown crackles maniacally as the bear animatronic faceplanted on the stage and fell into pieces.

"Ah hohohoho ho ho ho ho ho, how delightful!" dad clapped and cheered louder.

I pulled my beanie down to my eyes for the third time today not wanting to look at that cheap excuse of a children's clown, but then I heard a gun shot. . . and my dad's voice immediately after.

"Oh, my! What aim you have, Blitzy."

"Ugh! I can't do this anymore!"

That was the final straw, the song was bad enough, but dad's flirting was just too fucking much, so I stormed off.

"Wait- Uh-. . ."

"Octavia!" I heard dad and Alex shout out my name, in worry but I didn't stop or look back at them, I just kept running.

I didn't really have any plans or thoughts about where I was going, I was just running somewhere, somewhere I could just be alone.

"Octavia?" I heard them call my name again.

I felt the anger wash over me as I started running inside a building called the "Fun House" as I screamed, "Leave me alone!"

"Octavia!" they screamed again, but this time I didn't answer them, I just continued running until they were out of sight.

That's when I ran into a room with apple-themed rail cars. They were still spinning around, so I got into one, enjoying the ride as I started crying my eyes out. This time I was actually alone, no one sitting next to me, asking why I'm crying, or listening to my problems, just me in a rail car thinking about how my home, my life has changed for the worst with the only sound being the motion of the rail car spinning around and around, and my crying.

"Octavia. . ." I heard my name being called once again, except this time it was just dad.

I was confused, but I didn't bother asking questions, but I was concerned that dad might have done something. Now I had another thought running through my head, putting more pressure on me.

"I take it you are. . . not having fun," dad said softly, snapping me away from my thoughts.

"I didn't even want to come here!" I replied, still crying my eyes out.

"I'm sorry, sweetie. I. . . I thought you loved it here."

"When I was a kid and my parents didn't hate each other. . . and my dad didn't flirt with some. . . weird red dick head the entire time, while pratcally drugging and threatening my friend," I replied sniffling.

"I'm sorry, Via. I'm sorry for. . . everything. . . happening right now. I know it's. . . a lot. I, uh--should have listened."

"I just want to go home. . . but home doesn't even feel like home anymore. . . You ruined it," I said, crying some more.

"You need to understand. . . your mother and I. . . I just felt-. . . I felt-. . . She's always been. . . I haven't been- Ha-. . . We weren't in. . . I'm sorry, I- I- I don't have the words."

"Are you going to run off with him? And leave me behind? Go away where. . . I can't find you?" I cried, wanting and hoping that he will say no.

"What? No! No, no, never," dad replied emphatically as he pulled me into a hug.

I turned around and hugged him, my face buried in his chest.

"Never," he said making me smile.

Tears fell from my eyes, but it was actually tears of joy this time, knowing that I'm still important to him, that I mean something now and always.

"I think it's time to leave this place. You were right. You are too old for it, anyway," he said as he picked me up and carried me out of the fun house.

Dad stopped for a second and turned his head around. I didn't know why at first, but then I heard a thud, making clear that dad turned someone into stone just now.

We were now outside of the park that has now been reduced to pandemonium as dusk fell. I saw the imps fighting and shooting at the clown but I didn't see Alex anywhere. I got worried as I looked around for him. I sighed in relief when I saw him outside the gates waiting for us.

"So, what would you like to do now?" dad asked me, in a happy tone.

"Oh, can we go to Stylish Occult? They sell weird taxidermy there.

"Hmm, okayyyy," dad replied reluctantly.

I chuckled at him before giving him a big smile.

"Thanks, dad. You're okay, sometimes."

"Thank you, Via. Thank you."

We hugged as a massive explosion rocks the park, sending the three imps hurtling through the air, smoking and screaming, where they then landed in front of dad and I.

"Way to ruin another good thing, sir!"

"Worth it! That slutty toy clown had. It. Comin'!"

They then feel unconscious as one of them was being dragged away by a stray animal that loomed like a Queef. I heard another gunshot, so I looked at Alex and saw him shooting at the animal, scaring it off, leaving the imp behind.

He then holstered his gun and turned his attention to me. He looked at me and dad, before smiling at me.

"What?" I asked with another chuckle.

"There's that smile," he said happily.

I rolled my eyes at him, before chuckling.

"Hey, I'm, uh, sorry about how I acted today. You were just trying to-"

Alex put his hand up in a stopping motion. I stopped talking and just looked at him, unsure what he were he was going with this.

"You don't need to apologize. I get it, Octavia. I'm just glad that you and your father talked about it."

I couldn't help but smile at him. I then looked up at dad, who wasn't staring at him, or saying anythin, but rather staring at the ground thinking to himself. I stared at dad in confusion and in worry. Though it didn't take long for him to leave his thoughts and start talking again.

"I won't be needing, Blitz and his crew the rest of the day, but why don't you come with us, boy?"
