Dies Irae Chapter 35: Addled Adelheid's Alcohol Atrocity
Alliteration.
She cracked open an eye, her throat dry and her head pounding. There was an arm wrapped around her waist that definitely hadn't been there before she'd blacked out, and she felt a little awkward right know, knowing that some guy's member was inside her.
It felt like she'd had a great drink tonight, and she turned her head, looking at a set of definitely womanly lips, the other woman giving a quiet 'ughnnn' sound, as Adelheid Blau's eyes opened and she got up from bed.
'Woah... headache. Oww oww...'
The feeling inside her chest hurt a little, as she glanced around, pale skin exposed to her eyes, and Jaune was waking up already.
'I'm just gonna go back to sleep.'
Life wasn't really all that interesting right now with her whole body tingling like this. She'd gotten fucked, and she seemed to have gotten with Saphron as well.
'Hmm... Nice and comfy... He's pretty soft to cuddle up to.'
Adelheid dozed off again, trying to get some more sleep, her mind fogged by the leftover alcohol in her system, her thoughts buzzing with that faint hint of something being wrong, with something that nagged at her mind about the situation that she was in.
'Oh, he's getting hard again...'
That was nice, she was just going to sleep her hangover off and-
'OH MY GODS! I SLEPT WITH JAUNE!'
Like a cold shower, her body woke up and she realized that Jaune was currently in the process of turning over, and she took a good look at what he was packing down below.
"OH YEAH, OH YEAH, OH YEAH, FUCK ME!"
Memories started to return to her, remembering how she'd become more enthusiastic after the first few fumbling moments, where she smelled the booze and her whole body heated up, her mouth uttering things that would make any woman blush at the filthiness of the suggestion.
'I'm... oh no, no, no! If she finds out, I'm dead! I'm ruined!'
His erection made itself known and Adelheid felt her hand grip it, and then pause, before she let go of it like she'd touched a burning hot clothes iron, her eyes wide, as she heard Saphron stir on her other side.
"I'm a very naughty imouto... Come on, little brother. Fuck your elder sister... Yeah, that's it, that's it- ah, is that vodka? Aww Saph, you shouldn't have... Jaune, hold there and- That's it, honey."
Miss Umbra would skin her alive and then salt her. She'd acted like a bitch in heat. Flashes of what she'd had him do to her body, having the prescience to insist that she was 'a horny little alley bitch' and drinking his-
'Oh gods, I am so fired. I am so fucking fired, so fucking dead, so- so- I'm going to get canned.'
Literally, if her boss found out about it.
She was going to get fired, fined and going to make herself someone that'd become the name of failure in her field. She'd fucked her client AND his sister and she should have refused the alcohol that had been offered and-
"Are you okay, Adelheid?"
He asked her and she gave a gawking little giggle, unsure what to say, knowing that if she said 'yes' she'd be on the hook for admitting that she'd been a fucking whore for her best friend's brother, she'd been some drunk slut that had slept with her client that had been sweet and nice and-
"I'm okay. I'm-"
She wanted to say more, but she found herself drifting closer to him, looking at his features, at the noble manner in which he held himself. He reminded her a little of her dad, and she was definitely a daddy's girl when it came down to it, since she only had a dad right now.
'I'm not-'
She was pushing him down and kissing him now, and she definitely shouldn't!
She shouldn't, but her tongue was invading his mouth and letting him feel what Adelheid Blau could do with her tongue, a low moan from her lips, knowing that she should be half-sober now and still...
She broke the kiss and then got on top of him, running a hand through her hair.
"We're not done here yet, Jaune. I'm..."
"Fuck me, ah- ah, fuck, Saphron, ah- big sis. Big sis, fuck me harder, double penetrate me, I'm such a fucking slut, oh gods, fuck me!"
It was degenerate and without even a single bit of reason behind it, her body in heat, as she pressed herself against him and then kissed him again.
'I'm drunk... Drunk, yes. I'm drunk and this isn't a good moment to point out that what I'm doing is so fucking going to get me fired. I must be dreaming... yes, a good dream, a good dream that'll be good for me to unwind. I must be dreaming.'
It made more logical sense to her like this, because she'd definitely be in big trouble if this was something that she'd done without even considering the woman that had hired her to represent Jaune on the world stage as his publisher, to ensure that every contract he signed would have her pouring over it.
"Let's have some fun, okay?"
She would be a good girl once she woke up. It wasn't like she was gay or big sis was some sort of mastermind that had gotten her drunk, it'd all be some weird dream when she woke up in her bed, alone or with Saphron, Jaune in another room and the two of them happily cuddled up.
'Yep, it's a dream. It's got to be a dream, or I'm fucked.'
"Ah, Adelheid? I'm not-"
He was a stupid little boy, but she knew the way to cure that.
"Hop, hop, hop. Time for me to get fucked like the naughtiest cop."
She loved it when a guy entertained her and-
"Ah, Addie."
And it didn't seem to be very much a dream anymore, as Saphron looked at her, a smile on her lips as she got up from her reclining position, her arms wrapping around her, Saphron's dark blonde hair like spun gold, as she smiled at her with that look that definitely made Adelheid feel that this was not a dream.
That this was not going to be a dream that she'd wake up from and happy about having a nice dream for once, kissing her best friend and sort-of-adoptive sister, Saphron's lips pulling away after a moment, as she smiled.
"You're a good little imouto, Addie."
'Oh gods... Shit.'
She'd say Scheisse a few more times out loud, if she didn't feel Jaune's member down there.
"I need the bathroom, Saph. One moment."
She tried to act like she wasn't affected, but she was, having fucked her client, the one condition in her contract which didn't have any escapes or any sort of ways to get out of it.
'I really fucked up.'
She was going to get fired, fined and fucked, in the financial sense. There were a lot of things that she could get away with in a bit of creative wording, she was someone's agent, after all, able to spin a clumsy statement into a glowing endorsement, but she didn't want to die.
She sat on the toilet seat for a few minutes, trying to calm down. She'd fucked her best friend and her best friend's brother, the people that she reaaaallly shouldn't have fucked.
'I'm not gay! I'm not gay! I'm not gay-'
The flash of memory of her begging for her big sister to violate her tight rear end flashed through her mind and she gave a whine.
'I'm not gay! I was drunk! It was beyond my control, it was beyond my control, I was drunk, I'm so going to get fucked in the ass by the big boss...'
"Adelheid? Are you alright?"
He was asking whether she was alright too, as if that wasn't some sort of massive issue for him, and his whole sexy man-body that came with it! Of course, it'd have to be a hunk that she was trying to go and publish and market, and that hunk came attached with a whole load of issues.
'I don't regret it! Noooooooo!'
He just had to be her type! Sweet! Nice! Fucking stud!
'Nooooo!'
"I'm okay. I'm- I'm okay, just... just taking a moment to pee."
'I'm so fucking screwed if the boss finds out.'
He made a quiet laughing sound.
"Mama called, she'd like to speak to you."
'Shit.'
Now, her urine did flow, as she realized that she, Adelheid Blau, was in deep fucking shit with her boss now.
'I wonder if it's time to flee the Kingdom yet...'
She really wanted to go somewhere far away, but she doubted she'd make it to the airport. Miss Umbra was scary.
"J-just a moment! I'll finish up."
'Noooooo!'
The queenly mask was one that was the easiest to wear. The vagaries of time did not touch her as she stared at the young woman that had been captured on the camera feed, engaging in acts that made a woman blush!
'A firm hand...'
It might be prudent to involve her dear child in some corrective action, but she wished to hear the young woman's explanation from her mouth, as the answer from Jaune came quickly.
"Jaune, my dear... Please, hand me to Adelheid."
There was no 'Miss Blau', or 'the publisher', just 'Adelheid'. In the grand scheme of things, she was supreme and inviolable, her beautiful son's face showing clearly surprise, before his face turned more relaxed. A man who had a woman in his bed that was as wild as an untamed horse, degenerate and willing to do whatever the man wished.
"Ah, are you alright? Mama?"
Her voice was solid and stern, as she reiterated it, allowing her queenly mask to be in place, even if he needed his mother to care for him when he had been so intimate with his sister. It was her duty in this world, and Saphron understood that.
'My poor little hurt boy...'
She couldn't help but mentally sigh at how he would need to have some loving comfort, even if a merchant's daughter was his friend, who required to be coached. Willow would do well to add a touch of motherliness to the household that was being prepared for him.
"I am fine, my little prince. I am fine."
A queen of the world was untouched by mere trifles, as she waited, hearing him inquire whether the young lady was alright in the bathroom, the answer that was returned not as formal as one would expect from a mere peasant's daughter... but she had raised the young man into a prince herself, so his siblings would enjoy a similar status.
Little Saphron, the sweet girl, was still confused... But there was no room for degeneracy within her household. Salem would be the one to tighten the reins on that young woman's sweet nature. Already, the seeds were starting to sprout within little Saphron, of the woman that she could be.
'Otherwise...'
"M-Miss Umbra? W-what a surprise to h-hear you call!"
The young woman was nervous and unsettled, undoubtedly due to her having called at this hour. It was perfectly normal for her to remain as she was, aware of what would be the final nail in the coffin for her career, her gaze directed at Adelheid, who was currently trying her best to look like she wasn't naked, as if Jaune being naked was in any way proper.
"Is it wrong for me to call when I wish to inform you of a slight change in your contract's terms, Miss Adelheid?"
The leaving out of the 'Blau' part of her name was intentional, seeing the woman turn almost as white as a sheet, her expression pathetic, just like Salem liked to see her. The young woman, who was one of the better prospects for the whole task of managing Jaune's career as a huntsman and eventual prince of the world, was trembling.
"Oh. A- a change of terms, M-miss Umbra? A- ahh, I'm ah, I'm an- I'm- eh, am I fired?"
Salem smiled draconically at the woman, Adelheid's expression turned almost pathetic.
"That's not the young woman that called out loudly to, and I shall quote you here... 'impregnate my slutty publishing vagina with your big fat-"
Salem coughed a little, to add a hint of embarrassment to her words, as she stared at the young woman's expression, which grew even more tense and unnerved.
"penis, you motherfucking incest bastard', Miss Adelheid."
The expression was something that Salem relished in, to see the expression turn from unnerved to downright despair, roiling in those emotions, feeling the savage desire to hurt more well up inside her. She wanted to destroy that hope, to twist that confidence into nothing but despair that came from the heart.
"I'm so dead."
The young woman was pretty on the money.
"I will be coming to Vale, Miss Blau, to oversee the termination of Adelheid Blau from my service. Be prepared for your dismissal, Miss Blau. My dear little Saphron knows that I would be loathe to do something that would hurt my family, so perhaps she can console your... errant desires."
The seeds were planted, Salem knew, as Adelheid started to lose it, a panic attack growing more intense, as she looked like she was going to cry again.
"It is unfortunate that things must end this way, Miss Blau. I do not give second chances to those who betray my trust."
She shut the call off a moment later to let the terror hit her former employee.
Miss Blau would leave the world when she arrived in Vale.
There would be no forgiveness for someone that was not a member of her family.
Her fingers touched over the Scroll again, the call connecting a few moments later, Willow appearing on the screen a little later, her expression concerned.
"Is something the matter?"
It would be the case, if there was something to be worried about. Salem smiled lightly, knowing fully well that miss Blau would be panicking. Her dear daughter would be there to capture her attention...
It was not done to hold feelings for those who were so much lower than their betters. A queen did not feel beholden to a mere peasant.
"Just a few little things, my dear."
A gentle touch, to the woman that would serve as the maid for her beautiful boy and little Saphron, even if there was something to consider about the methods that would be used.
"Now, I would like to ask whether you would be willing to keep an eye on a little thing for me..."
She never moved without perfect assurance of victory, knowing that there was nothing paramount in this world above her desire.
Adelheid Blau was to no longer exist in this world, when she arrived.
The Scroll call that arrived showed little Saphron's ID, which Salem accepted without any moment.
"Mama... About Adelheid."
The girl knew how to approach her, Saphron's sweet expression leaving nothing to the imagination, Salem's heart a little more tender than before.
"Yes, my dear?"
"I'm dead. I'm sooo dead. She's going to kill me."
Saphron pushed the door open to the bathroom, Adelheid looking distraught, her eyes sweeping up to her, fear visible in those eyes, as Saphron pulled the younger woman into an embrace, letting her cry a little. Jaune had been told to go and make himself useful, as Saphron did the same thing that she'd always done when one of her younger sisters had been upset with something, gently blowing out air and then telling them that it would all be okay.
Adelheid wasn't a bad woman at her core, but there was going to be some reckoning for her behaviour, even if the hand of fate had to be forced.
Saphron felt no regret for what she had done, knowing that her Mama would probably not approve overly much of her plans... but Addie needed to be kept from others that would harm her with their actions.
'We aren't too dissimilar...'
"She told me that there'll be no more Adelheid Blau when she comes here. I'm going to die, Saphron. I'm going to die, big sis."
Mama had used those words intentionally, undoubtedly, Saphron guessed. Mama never did something without any kind of justification behind them, as Adelheid was blubbering about being too young to die, not over some prime dick that had been feeling so great when it filled her up.
'Don't worry, Addie... Big sis is going to make everything alright.'
Mama would be reasonable, once Addie calmed down a little, and Saphron guided the younger woman to her room again, Jaune as innocent as he always was, a sweet young man that was untouched by Rouge's degeneracy...
'Therapy won't cut it...'
"Get on the bed, Adelheid. Sit. You need something to calm down, while I call Mama."
The terms and conditions for the contract that Adelheid had signed would need to be evaluated and given proper attention, as she knew that Mama was someone that was very peculiar and focused on the details, even with Adelheid being who she was.
She took the moment to get a little more dressed than Adelheid was, as she could hear the sound of the shower going, her fingers pressing the buttons to connect a call to Mama.
"Mama... about Adelheid."
This would be a conversation that she'd have with her Mama, knowing the pain that she suffered under the brief moment where her emotions had finally frayed when she'd been within the hospital, seeing what her father was like.
"Yes, my dear?"
'Good, she's not openly enraged or showing emotions like that.'
She could tell that Mama wasn't someone that would strike unless there was an absolute certainty of her victory.
"Are you going to kill Adelheid?"
The full name, without the surname, as Salem looked at her and Saphron got the feeling that this was a test, her Mama's eyes looking like they weighed her.
"Adelheid Blau will no longer live when I am in Vale again, my dear. There will be nobody bearing that name living in this world when I arrive."
Killing Adelheid was not out of the question for Mama, but Saphron knew that it was probably the only hint that her mother-figure would give her.
"I cannot sway you, can I?"
The queenly woman shook her head, Saphron feeling a rush of blood to her head, as she felt a little light-headed. Mama was a woman that kept her word, someone that was solid and stable in her life that had been upended.
"What she did was a breach of contract. I do not let such slights against my family stand."
The expression on the woman's features was perfect, as Saphron nodded, understanding that her Mama was only doing what she deemed to be best.
"I understand, Mama. Thank you for clarifying that."
Her Mama smiled proudly at her, and Saphron's expression was pleasant, as she took a deep breath and then let it slip through her lips, leaving only the faint bitter taste in her mouth, knowing that Adelheid was screwed.
"I love you and my little prince, dear. I am all that you need as a mother, as long as you know that..."
The woman was so sweet and Saphron knew that. Adelheid would be a casualty of her own actions, but Saphron was not giving up. Pleading for Adelheid's life would not affect this woman's judgment.
"I know, Mama. I'm... She will know. She is my best friend, Mama."
The emotional appeal would not work, Saphron could tell from the first raising of an eyebrow, as Salem's expression turned almost bemused.
"Friends come and go, my dear. Family is eternal. It is the tie which links us together."
Saphron nodded, and the call was shut down moments later, Saphron getting up and seeing Adelheid looking terrified, her pale face looking like it was going through three different levels of terror, Saphron having to do with her friend.
'Very well...'
She dialled her mother next.
"Hello mom. I figured that I'd come by. Addie needs something from you, a signature."
Carmella Arc was someone that could be trusted to do exactly what was needed, after all, her mother's dismissive sound enough for Saphron to feel that anger within her bosom again, Adelheid unsure of why she was calling her birth mother.
'You don't know what I am planning to do...'
It didn't matter one bit. One of the few things that Saphron was very certain of, was some clauses within the law. Marrying a woman as a woman was rough to do since there was no man involved, so it would need the signature of someone else, the mother or father of the woman that was to enter another's family.
"Saph, I'm scared. I'm so scared, I'm so afraid. She's going to kill me."
Addie freaking out was kind of cute, but Saphron's heart was like ice, as she tapped the other contact, waiting for the Scroll to ring.
"Rouge, get your ass to my house. I don't care if you need to cancel appointments, we're going to see Carmella. Meet you there in two hours."
No 'Mom', no 'mother' or anything of the sort, as Saphron's heart was of ice, hanging up on her oldest sister without further ado, calling Violet a moment later.
"Violet, be at home in about two hours. Make sure that Bear is there too."
She would be calling the shots and telling them what to do. They might all have their personal lives, but she had been their agony aunt for most of their life, always understanding and loving them despite their own personal issues.
Beryl called her while she was in the shower, Adelheid holding out her Scroll, Saphron answering it.
"The hell you calling us for, Saph? I'm busy with-"
Saphron turned her camera function on, giving Beryl her most annoyed glare.
"Shut up and be there, Bear. I didn't tell mom about that one time you got busted up, did I? Now go and be there and make sure that mom is kept entertained until we get here. I need witnesses."
Traditionally, it was supposed to be her mother and father, but in the case other than that, it would be easy to make do with siblings.
They counted, officially. All that she needed was a signature from her mother.
'It's going to be fine, Addie...'
Sometimes, you had to play it dirtier than dirty.
Jaune looked at Adelheid, who looked like she was in some serious emotional distress, her expression panicked and uncertain, Jaune feeling a little awkward as he was unsure why that was the case. Last night had been pretty unconventional, but he had enjoyed himself, even if Adelheid wasn't in the right frame of mind.
'She has a drinking problem...'
Mama shouldn't need to know about this, Saphron was going to go crazy if something happened to Adelheid. It wasn't a bad thing that Adelheid shared her warmth with him, as enthusiastic as she had been.
'I don't think it's wrong...'
Compared to Weiss, Adelheid was like a bonfire that warmed him, compared to the small heat that came from the others. He gave a quiet little murmur at the expression that Adelheid displayed, her fearful expression leaving not a single stone unturned, her eyes trying to peer at the mysteries of her Scroll, as she hiccupped a few times.
"Adelheid..."
She looked at him, her face pale and bloodless, clearly distraught. A girl like her, or rather, woman like her, he didn't think that she was much of a girl at all, should not look so defeated and terrified.
"I'm gonna die. I'm gonna die, Jaune. I'm going to die, she's going to kill me."
Jaune could understand that, but he'd put in a good word with Mama for Adelheid. She had been coerced, she'd been drunk and he knew that she just needed a bit of observance when it came to being in public. With how she had been, she'd been exciting and passionate, not letting anything slip from her plans, as she took a small drink from the water bottle that he'd brought her.
"It'll be fine, Adelheid."
Adelheid was bawling again, much like how his sisters bawled when they had heard that their boyfriend had given up on them, Saphron entering the room and then directing her attention to them.
"Adelheid, if you're not dressed in less than five minutes, I will leave you here. Jaune... Make sure that you're presentable. We're going to need witnesses."
Her voice was so sharp and to the point that he saw Adelheid flinch, dressing herself quickly. The underwear and the bra that she put on were plainer than what she'd worn when she'd really dressed up for someone in the bedroom, he guessed, as she straightened her business outfit out, Saphron giving a Mama-worthy smile, as she nodded, Jaune going for the dresser in the room that he had nominally to himself, as he opened the closet and dressed himself in some clothing that was prepared for him.
'I don't think a suit would really fit me all that well...'
It was what he had to wear, though. He dressed himself in a simple black version, aware of how it felt to wear something that had been tailored to his form. Mama took care of everything, even for eventualities like this.
'I'll take care of you, Adelheid...'
He would be able to arrange for something.
Adelheid felt a little nervous, as she was pushed into the car, Saphron driving, Jaune sat next to her, looking prim and proper in his suit. She had messed up. She'd fucked up, literally. She'd fucked him with her bestie and there was going to be death in her future.
'I'll be with you soon, mom.'
Dad would be lonely with her killed because of Miss Umbra's will, but she'd violated the terms, no matter what. She should have said no, she should have been a little more resistant to drinking, but Saphron...
'I'm a piece of shit.'
Jaune grabbed her hand and looked into her eyes, Adelheid liking the feeling of him grabbing her hand and then trying to comfort her through that simple touch, her eyes tearing up again.
"It will be fine. Saphron knows what she's doing, she's my big sister, after all."
Adelheid was scared.
It wasn't just her finances that would be ruined, it was her life. Death wasn't something she'd want to think about! Dad was going to come here eventually and Saphron was going to be her bestie for the rest of her now very short life and she wanted to find more fame, have Jaune be the best he ever could be in the Huntsman world, because she did like how he was in his personal interactions with her.
'I'm sorry, I don't think I can stop saying that...'
She wasn't going to let this go, knowing that he was there with her, Jaune's hand squeezing her hand again, giving her comfort, the icy coolness of his hand making her turn her gaze to him, his pale hair visible, as there was some kind of weird purple color to his eyes, as he looked into her own eyes, as she felt that urge inside her to lean forward.
'I'm going to die regardless... What's one more sin to commit? It was a cute guy, my bestie's brother.'
Her product, which she had to sell to the world. She idly wondered whether she would be found drifting in the harbour, cut to pieces, or just dead in some garbage can or something, killed by someone that she'd never seen coming.
"Adelheid..."
He spoke up and she nearly skittered onto his lap, pressing him against the cushions and then kissing him, abandoning all sense of morality and just throat-punching that mouth of his with her tongue, frenching him without any sort of restraint, kissing that seventeen-year-old guy with all the fervor that she could muster.
"Adel, I'm-"
She silenced him again with a kiss, enjoying that touch. He was someone that she really liked, with his sweet nature and that care that made her heart beat faster. He had to be hot, he had to be cute and he had to act a little like a little brother and she didn't want to die.
She kissed him, and Saphron clearing her throat made her break that kiss, aware that she was just groping the guy she was supposed to be the publisher of, sat on his lap like a good girl should, and letting him feel the Adelheid Blau Technique.
'I'm such a slut... but I don't care anymore. I'm gonna die! Who cares whether this is wrong or not?!'
She was so finished right now that it was only right to give this young guy the best send-off that she could give, even with Saphron probably complaining about it. She was not going to clear this up to Jaune, knowing that he'd be a nice, heroic guy about it. He could forgive a dying girl's wish, right?
"Ah- Ah, thank you for being my first project, Jaune."
She was panting, nearly too excited to really be conscious, the stuffy suit that she wore entirely too formal, as she tugged on his pants. It was probably a bad idea, but if she was going to go to the afterlife, she was going to do it right and she'd do it properly.
'No problem, nobody's going to remember me besides Saph and Jaune... Who cares about some near-orphan from Argus, right?'
She wanted to cry, and Saphron stopped the car.
"We're at our home, Adelheid. Stay in the car. Jaune? Keep her company."
That was just right with her, as Adelheid smiled, before she giggled a bit.
"Sure thing, big sis. I love you."
It wasn't really rational to say that to Saphron, but she was going to die, who cared about that right now with her life on the line?
"Just... be sure to make Jaune look proper when we get back to the car, okay? Big sis is going to have to lie and cheat and steal to get some permission... Jaune? Be good and keep her company. She's scared."
Jaune was just giving that sweet little smile, which was enough for her to really understand that Saphron was doing all of this for her, even though she had no idea what she was going to do, Miss Umbra didn't care, nobody would care for her when she was finally dead.
'I'm so screwed... but I'm going out with a bang.'
It was Saturday morning, after all, so there was still some time before Jaune would be back at Beacon, so that was that, and Adelheid knew that she should make haste.
"I'm taking care of her, don't worry. She's our friend."
Saphron nodded.
"Big sis, to you, Jaune. Don't forget that, she might be a degenerate girl that loves having her big sister fuck her, but she's still someone that we appreciate."
Adelheid could kiss Saphron right now, totally no homo, because Saphron was accepting her, Jaune was accepting her, and-
'Oh, no, we can't have sex.'
She'd settle for some Blau-job then.
"Alright... Time to go and get some permissions... Stupid laws."
'Let's not worry about that right now.'
She would do her best to make sure that Jaune got the best that she got.
"Ah- Jaune? I'm going to show you what I'm good at."
Every guy loved it.
This was probably the first time she did it sober.
"Eh, you're already great at the whole being my publisher thing, I'm sure that-"
The zipper was down a moment later, as Adelheid gave him a look.
"Just enjoy it, Jaune. I'm going to fucking die, but I'll make sure that you'll remember me."
Big sis was just going to be with her family and Adel was going to be probably in a coffin in not too long a while, but Adelheid tried her best to make a guy happy.
'Alright, it's go time! Argus Uber Alles!'
Time to hum the Argussian Anthem, and make him groan.
Violet looked at her mother, currently sitting at the table, waiting for Saphron. Why Saphron had called most of the older members of the family to the house was beyond her current knowledge, Cyanide whispering in her ear that it would be perfect to just dip a little bit of poison into her mother's cup, awareness of how they would be able to get away with just a little murmur of badly made tea, before her mother would be puking blood.
Violet knew that there were fewer options for her in this world, after what she'd done as a job. Bear knew about some parts of it, but not the full breadth of what she had done. She was beautiful, someone that was a star in the big play that she put up every night.
Cyanide whispered in her ears that there would be nothing more pleasurable than to kill her mother, an adulteress that was with the man that she called friend, her friend's husband, someone who should have been loyal, Violet's dark impulses telling her that it wasn't alright, the front door opening and Saphron calling out, mom glancing up from her phone.
Rouge had come home, stating that she was going to go and be there, as Saphron wanted something. Beryl was currently in the shower wiping the sweat off her body, after the murder had failed.
It was regretful, but Violet knew that there were better ways to deal with the man than to merely have the contact poison. All that it required was a little more effort, the man not chasing down her or her sister yet... which was not certain, but still, a threat to be dealt with later. She wasn't perfectly sure on what kind of method they would use but they could work together, at least.
"Mom?"
Carmella Arc looked up from her Scroll, looking at her daughter, as Saphron looked a little different, a bit more focused and less down than before. Violet knew that her sister had a big heart when it came down to things, as Saphron smiled at their mother.
"Do you think you can sign something for me, mom? Addie needs something with official parental approval, for Jaune's job."
Violet raised an eyebrow, realizing that Saphron was acting very agreeable, Carmella putting the Scroll down and sighing.
"Of course, Saphron dear. How about you go on a little date with Betty's cousin, if you wouldn't mind? I've spoken to her about how you're now single... it's probably best that you consider a man again, before you age out of the time to have a baby."
Saphron's eyes blazed, yet she was restrained, as Rouge entered the living room, looking at Saphron standing there, the smile on Saphron's lips, as she produced a form.
'She's prepared...'
"Ah... Maybe a date wouldn't be too bad. It was quite a shock to lose Adrian..."
She watched Saphron play up the angle of the good daughter, grieving for the loss of her wife and the child of said wife, as their mother looked a little buzzed. Violet didn't think too much about it, as she leaned a little closer, smelling the telltale smell of liquor. Mom had been drinking, so it was probably why Saphron's whole ploy to use mom's lack of inhibition to get what she wanted.
'Marriage, maybe?'
Adelheid was not a bad-looking girl, but there was that whole stigma of her being a rather... loose woman.
Violet was not one to comment on that herself, knowing that she was not as pristine as snow either, a killer that had been groomed to become the next Blackout, giving the sweet kiss of death to those that stood in her way.
'A mission is a mission.'
Snap went the neck of the Faunus, as she'd learned under Absinthe.
Cyanide whispered in her ear that it was the first step to becoming a good Granddaughter to Grandmother...
And Violet found herself wondering briefly about the twins, to see whether they would be willing to engage in a little experiment.
'With a bit of effort...'
Their fear had been marvellous to feel and see on their faces, as they had been a little like headless chickens, muffled and silenced, Beryl like the moon to her sun...
A brutish fighter that was good in a fight, but not with the poisons that she preferred to wield, as well as her beauty.
'I should bring my makeup kit...'
You never went anywhere unprepared after all, knowing that there were people ut there that would need a sweet little thing to convince them. Beauty drew the eyes, she knew from personal experience, and there was nothing that made her feel better than just aiding her family.
Jaune would understand it, of course, knowing that she did everything for the family, to let them feel happy and content in their little life.
"Ah, I sign here, right?"
Saphron nodded, a smile that was more simpering and sweet than anything she'd normally use, taking her place behind their mother and rubbing the spots on the back that would relax someone. As a former prostitute, she had awareness of those spots, from her personal encounter with men that wished to have a pretty little thing rub the sore points.
'A knife there and you paralyze the body, and the point there is good for inserting a needle and then poisoning them.'
She heard the internal Cyanide whisper in her ears, as she gave a quiet little murmur, as Rouge looked curious to Saphron's presence, the expression on her face curious, as their mother signed on the dotted line.
"And can you place dad's stamp as well? You're responsible for his permission as his wife, right?"
Mom made a quiet murmur, as Saphron provided the official stamp of the Arc patriarch, their father, her fingers pressing it on the place, where she had not signed. It was due to the Huntsman line of work having such dangers, the formal way of introducing someone that could act in stead of a Huntsman in the Kingdom, their mother signing on the dotted line with her signature and name, Saphron smiling at their mother and kissing her cheek.
"I'll see about that date, mom. I don't know if Adel wants me to go and shop with her yet. We're going shopping for some clothes today, it's Saturday so we should be able to file this with the government first."
Violet watched her elder sister's smile drop immediately, her eyes meeting Saphron's and looking away immediately, feeling fear shoot through her, as Cyanide whispered in her ear that Saphron was looking a lot like Grandmother could.
"Sure... have fun, dear."
Their mother did not care. Violet and Cyanide did not care either.
"We're going to get some really nice dresses- oh, and don't wait up for us. Jaune's going to be funding our shopping trip, yay. Now- mom, have a great day, I'll buy you something nice too, if I remember."
Saphron looked like she was going to go and murder their mother in her sleep, Jaune's presence and absence definitely noticed, as Beryl entered the living room, a towel covering her head, her expression a little bit duller than it usually was, not that it was much of an improvement.
"Hey sis, we're here like you asked, and- Why are you looking at me like that, Saph?"
Saphron smirked.
"We're getting you a dress, Bear. Oh, it'll be fun."
Beryl looked spooked.
"Hey, I don't need a dress!"
Violet would like to see Beryl wearing a dress. It was probably going to be one of the few times where their tomboyish sister would ever wear something girly or feminine. Contrasting with her though, she might need to find something a bit more unisex.
Standing out too much was not a positive thing either. You didn't want to be recognized based on your clothing or your beauty, so you altered your appearance a little to make yourself slip into the crowd.
'Maybe something that would be barely recognizable as belonging to Violet Arc...'
She wasn't going to be thinking too hard about what to wear, if Saphron wanted something while they were out shopping.
"You need a dress, Beryl... Think of the boys that you're missing out on! You don't want to turn into Saphron, right?"
Violet might have overstepped her bounds just a little, as Saphron gave her an annoyed look, clearly not too happy with being used as an example, Beryl flushing at the insinuation.
"Hey! I can get a guy, no problem! I'm still trying to get my new bestie to warm up to me a bit, but hey, killer looks and a killer body!"
'New bestie?'
Beryl's only friends were killers, and Violet was definitely not aware of her meeting any sort of friend that she'd need to know about.
'Maybe... who knows?'
Saphron tucked the document somewhere safe, her lips quirked in a smile, as she opened the door, and Violet saw Adelheid's head poke up.
"I wasn't doing anything, oh god, please don't kill me!"
Jaune was giving them a look and-
'Oh dear... I think I was interrupting something.'
"Just... make some space for the others, Adel. We're going to save your fucking butt this time, even if you've- wipe your chin at least, you've got slobber all over it and- Just- Jaune, pants up, let our little Adelheid make herself neat."
Violet got in the car before Rouge could, Rouge looking like she'd be just about ready to just tear Adelheid to shreds. Whatever went on in their sister's mind, she wasn't sure whether Adelheid would survive the encounter, if that look that Adelheid got was any indication.
'Eesh, you'd think that she was the assassin, trying to kill someone with her eyes.'
Her sister was a mean woman if she got riled up.
She would have to be careful around her big sister now, because Rouge was on the warpath.
"Sooo... We're not going to be making some adult movie, are we? She was practicing on Jaune's flute."
Beryl added her two cents, as she got in on Jaune's other end, Violet getting in the front with her sister Saphron being the driver, Saphron's expression almost like a vicious beast.
"If you wish to, I'm pretty sure that our dear sister can assist in you getting some personal experience in how to please a man, Beryl."
'Oww... She's sounding like Grandmother...'
Cyanide whispered quietly in her ear, as Violet felt a little cowed by Saphron's manner of speaking, the assassin within her quieter than she had been before, her eyes closing and her mouth making a quiet little whimper, as she tried to find the right words for soothing things a little.
"We're going to city hall."
There was a pregnant pause, as Saphron turned her gaze to the others, before she started the car.
"Oh god, you're going to marry Adelheid!"
Rouge was the first to speak up, and Saphron's expression turned mean.
"There will be no more Adelheid Blau in this Kingdom before the end of this afternoon, after which we'll go shopping for clothes. Then, we will go to my home, get some cake, and then discuss what we'll be doing with our new little sister."
Adelheid did not seem to like that plan.
"BUT I'M NOT GAY!"
'Marrying big sis isn't a big thing... At least you can still date.'
That was one thing, at least.
