After their wedding, while leaving the village the chapel was in. They went on their honeymoon to a special place called Fanistylanda when no one else knew about it yet. There they enjoyed their honeymoon with no one of the gods knowing about their love and how they were so happy.
Back home they did everything in their original plan, pit and palutena protecting skyworld and overworld together. That's how things went until Palutena was getting sick. One day while the pit was on patrol, palutena went to Verdi to ask for help. There Verdi took palutena to a special place to be examined and what the sickness palutena had.
Veridi" So Palutena, how long have you been sick like this." Palutena " I've been this sick since pit and I went on that journey to that unknown land!" Veridi" Well I have examined you and it looks like you have a child within, but that journey with the pit was two months ago. At the same time, that journey wasn't to learn about that land wasn't it palutena."
Palutena" it was our honeymoon." Veridi " What! You married pit and started a family!" " Yes and I love him, veridi. I want to stay with him forever!" " Palutena it's forbidden for a goddess to marry an angel! Do you know the danger you put yourself in? What about pit the law pacifically States that if an angel married a goddess will be punished by the death of fire, and if a goddess married an angel she will be stripped of all her powers and watch her lover die in death of fire, and to top it off if that angel and goddess have a kid if lucky it gets send to the overworld will it may live well, but the mother will be killed! Mostly the other gods would take the child as a baby and kill it in front of you."
" Thank you veridi, but I know what will happen to me and pit. Though I'm not giving up on either of them!" With that being said palutena when back to her temple and told pit what sickness was and how they would keep the child hidden from all the gods. While they talking one of Zuse's angels heard what they were talking about and went to tell it to zuse, but unknown to that angel dark pit was there as well. Looking out for pit and palutena though he didn't have to be there, but from what veridi has said about it him by explaining it to him and by saying" Please keep a lookout for them and make sure no one else has learned of this yet, but if word gets out that pit and palutena are married and have a child within, they will both be killed! You don't have to do it if you don't want to, but please at least think about it!"
Dark pit may have not liked pit very much but he also if pit were to get killed, he could be the next they go after. At the same time, the dark pit was the happy pit. He got palutena face all happy again. In the months before this palutena always had a sad face on her. Though he may never tell pit that his goddess's face didn't look happy with a sad face on, he was also happy that pit was making his ideas stead of following all the other god's rules. And with that, he flew back to veridi and told her that palutena and pit secret may be out sooner than they thought.
Veridi heard from the dark pit she rushed to palutena and told her that zuse angel overheard what she and pit were talking about and went to inform himself. Palutena knew there was someone else hearing her and pit talk other than dark pit so she told veridi that she had a plan to get pit and her out of skyworld together, but she'll need her help.
Palutena " So the word is out sooner than pit and I thought. To protect pit and me with a child we must leave pronto, but at last, I have a plan to leave the other gods off our trail! Though I will need your help veridi!"
Veridi" I may never like you, but I don't like the other gods hurting the goddess of light because without you my plants won't grow. Now I know plants depend on your light to grow healthy and strong while I do help them grow I just do not have the light they need, that's how we worked together. You bring the light and I grow the plants. So I will help you out.
Palutena " Ok with that settle here's the plan, pit follows along. Pit " Ok palutena!" Tonight I and pit leave skyworld forever and never come back. While we leave veridi I want you to carefully lower my temple down to your place and hide it forever and the rest of my army be put into a deep sleep or put into your army if they choose to do so. Though if years later anything happens to you and dark pit get out of here as fast as possible. Though there may be a problem while we are gone the other gods may go after the dark pit so take care of him veridi. Dark pit I know you served no one but yourself. Please stay with veridi and help her out even if it means hiding for a while!
Now to take action, everyone goes do what you got to do. Pit come with me we need to pack for our journey only take what you need, leave everything else behind!" So that night Pit and Palutena had packed light with only the neastials and left skyworld. Once out they hid in their honeymoon vacation home planning their next step of action to get away from all the other greek gods so they can rise their child in peace.
While there in fantasylanda, they met kaitas who was working there as an innkeeper as a side job from being a knightness who can hold any magical weapons from any other worlds. She first met palutena and her husband pit at work one day while helping them find a room for a short time in Evernet inn.
Kaitas guided them to a room, to talk and what room they will be staying in for the night. Kaitas" welcome to Evernet inn Mrs and Mr…, oh my! Was all kaitas got out before palutena fainted with pit just bearable holding himself up while keeping palutena's body from hitting the wood floor? When this happened all the other guests turned their heads that way to the sound. Kaitas" Come with me, sir so she can rest up as well as you!" Pit follows her with palutena in his arms to the back room behind the counter of the inn.
Kaitas"So I know you are looking for a place to stay while hiding from the law to rise your child! Right?" Pit" How did you know?" Kaitas" I'm no oraneril innkeeper Mr pit, I'm so much more than that. I'm a dragon who can travel to any world I want as long as I follow the laws in those worlds! Though I am a lady, I don't always act like it only when to hide from others in plane site, but while in those worlds I'm a knightness who can touch anything magical."
Pit" You don't have a home to go to, that's sad." Kaitas" I used to have a home back in my world, but that was then. Now, don't you think it's time for you and your wife to find a new away from Zuse and his crazy laws!" Pit" Yeah we are, but we don't know where to start we had to leave in a rush, last night and we've been walking the whole day!"
