Ronde(POV

It's been 2 days since we started planning to recover our kingdom back from my uncle. So far we've been coming up with a few scenarios that might work. However we don't have every detail of what's going on Within our kingdom. My mentor, Skild, is trying to gather as much information as he possibly can without being suspicious. But it was just tidbits of information that was somewhat useful but not enough to us to plan to take the kingdom today. But what he told us yesterday has put a massive dent in our plans.

(Yesterday)

After a long while planning with the Dragon Riders about ways to take back our kingdom, my mentor came back from his duties with a very concerned look on his face. I asked, "Hey master, what up? You look a little worried."

He looked around at all of us that were in the room and sat down in one of his chairs, "Look I'm not trying to rush you guys or anything, but you need to either come up with a plan faster or find a way to escape. The coordination begins in two days."

I was a bit surprised I thought we had another week or possibly a few more days but 2? Why?

I spoke up, "Why so little? We're still in the planning phase and we came up with a few ideas but we're not done yet."

He spoke up, "Since the kingdom is out of order Upendo and the councilman have decided to crown him as king to bring order back to our nation. They also decided to move up the coordination process so everything would be back to normal at a much quicker pace."

I looked at Hiccup and the other's and back to my mentor, "If we don't come up with something by tomorrow night then we'll think about plans to get out of our kingdom. But we have a few ideas that could stop or at least slow down my uncle's rule."

My mentor got up, "Do what you need to do but just consider what I've said we don't have much time left. And whatever you come up with has to be flawless."

I nodded, "I know."

Now coming up with something is proving to be difficult. What Hiccup and I came up with could still work but In order to do that we need a big distraction of some sort, but more than that we needed proof. We have proof that my uncle had sided with the Warlords and his plans. But that would only get him to be charged with treason but would still leave my family on the run because we still can't provide enough evidence that what my uncle wrote was fake. My father has to be proven innocent so he can become king again. I have to admit my father is a better king than he is a parent. His actions are questionable at best but the end results always lead to our nation being improved in some shape or form.

I still don't know how to feel about him yet it's confusing given the circumstances. But I cannot deny that he's the best leader for my home. But in order to do that I need proof. I wonder is it possible to get that proof? Where would it be and how could I get it?

I wonder if it's possible if my father still has those letters. If he did, are they documented away? If I remember correctly, my father always keeps his letters to find some sort of flaws within peace treatises or contracts to cover his end or to prove to the other party that they were incompetent. Also if I remember correctly my father said that he had a way to prove that those letters were out of context, he had to have them.

I got up and went upstairs to my father and mother's room. I opened the door to discover that he was half naked but I didn't care. I quickly shook him to wake him up. When he opened his eyes he looked irritated but then realized it was me. He quickly changed his expression and said, "Oh...hey son. Why are you up this early?"

I quickly said, "That doesn't matter, I have a question for you."

He looked a bit concerned, "Y-yes what is your question my son?"

"Do you still keep your contracts and letters documented or keep them in some sort of file? If so, where would they be? Inside the library or in your castle?"

He sat up and rubbed his eyes thinking about it for a moment, "Yes I always keep everything I receive from other people."

"Do you still have the letters of the conversation that you and my uncle had while we were preparing to load the ship to attack the dragon's nest?"

He quickly said, "Yes I was going to use those letters to prove my innocence. That's why I was upset when you took me away from the stage but I see now it was probably better that you did. My people weren't going to give me a chance to prove my innocence."

Great, there's still a chance to recover the kingdom but we still need to finalize our plans. But that still leaves the big question and depending on the answer it might get more difficult to help prove his innocence. I had to ask, "Where are they located?"

He looked a bit concerned, "There is a secret spot behind my wall in my closet. Only I and your mother know about it so there's no way my brother knows about it too."

"Great...just great," I said out loud. It had to be within the castle, probably the most guarded place in our country. I don't even know how to sneak into that place without getting caught.

I went back down stairs to discover that my mentor was getting ready to leave again, "Oh you're about to go?"

He nodded, "Yes, I have to train the Next Generation of crown guards. Today is not my day to protect the castle or guard Upendo but I need to do my duties so I won't look suspicious."

"Oh, right I'm sorry I sometimes forget that if you make a mistake or if we get caught here it will affect you too. We'll try to make things right again when this is all over but be safe today. I'll try to come up with a plan for tomorrow," I then lean against the wall on the steps trying to think of some way to get those documents today.

Suddenly he said, "I know that looks all too well, you're struggling with something. Having a hard time thinking about something, what's wrong?"

I looked over towards him, "I need to get inside the castle. Father told me about the documents that can prove his innocence but I need a way to get inside that place. Also I need someone to go with me as a lookout. I would ask you but I don't want you to get caught. The others are not good at stealth and father and I are not on the best terms so obviously we'll get distracted but also he's only good at fighting not sneaking around. Most of all I need a way to get inside the castle without being caught or noticed. This is something I can't do by myself but I need someone that is just as good as me sneaking around but….I just don't know anyone who could besides you."

He then looked towards the ground for a few moments but then his eyes widened, "It would be a risk bringing me along and I can't go inside the castle today but...I might have someone who can help but I just have to be careful how I approach and ask her. Look Ronde I have to go but I'll be back before the sun begins to fall but if the person agrees I'll bring them with me and then you have to prepare to go inside the castle today."

I was completely confused about what he was talking about but even before I could ask he left.

He obviously has a plan but he didn't discuss it with me. It would have been easier to know but I assume I just came up with the plan for now to get inside the castle without being noticed. It might be a little difficult though.

Several hours later

Skild

Alright, the sun is blazing and all of my students are tired. I guess that means I did a good job of training them today. I think today is probably a good day for them to get out of lessons early. For one reason the coordination is tomorrow they possibly need all the strength they can muster for that but the second reason is it gives my friends more time to discover a way to prove Woede innocence and for them to get inside the castle and for me to help them.

I then announced, "Alright that's enough for today I'm letting you guys out early because tomorrow is the coronation. You're all free to leave if you wish."

They were all about to leave including the person I think that could possibly help us but you have to be careful how I approach her, "Hold on Lelieblom I need to talk to you."

She turned around after grabbing her bags and came forward in front of me looking at me curiously. Alright I need to ease in this slowly one wrong move and she could tell Upendo about me so I said, "You're form was excellent today each and every day you are starting to Astound me with your progress and-"

She cut me off, "Master, you need my help with something do you?"

I was a bit surprised, "Well...yes but it's a bit more complicated than that. Someone I know needs help and I think you're the perfect person to do it."

She raised an eyebrow and walked next to me, "Some you know huh? Well, does this person have ties to someone of a higher status?"

Now I was starting to get a bit nervous, "Well you see this person-"

She sighs, "let's just skip to the part where you say that the previous King needs my help."

I was confused and shocked

Lelieblom put her bag on the floor and said, "Your reaction says a lot but I know that you've been harboring the king and his family possibly alongside those foreigners that ride those dragons for a few days now."

"No I just been-"

She cut me off again, "You've been late a few times now and you're never late, usually you're here early. Also I've noticed that recently I've been seeing you in town more often buying a lot of food which was strange to me because it's just you, your wife and son. But I noticed that your wife has been living with someone else for the past few days and your son has moved to another tribe. So who are you buying all that food for? And don't say it's just for your dragon. It also explains why they haven't been caught yet because why would they look in the most obvious place which is the castle or the person who the king favors honestly? That was a very risky move but apparently it worked."

I just looked at her dumbfounded. She figured it out?

She smiled and said, "Don't worry I've known for the past few days but I'm not going to tell anyone. I like you and I loved our previous King. But I also question the motivations of our upcoming King, but I've known for the past few days so you can trust me but I'm also expecting some sort of reward coming out of this whenever it's done.

I sigh and say, "You never cease to surprise me but yes what you are saying is true and I do need your help."

She nodded, "It's best if we discuss it in a more private place instead of here everything's on high alert so we can either use your dragon to go to the outlands. I just got some more of this or we can go to the place where you're harboring them."

Ronde

Myself and Hiccup were looking at a structural map of my parents castle. When suddenly my mother pulled my father and I away from the others. We were all close to one another so the others could hear us while my mother said, "Ronde, if it is too much for you all to handle we can all just escape and never come back here."

I was shocked that she said that, "Why? This is going to work, we just need to finalize our plans and get the evidence we need to prove your innocence."

She avoided eye contact with me, "I know but...I don't want anything to go wrong, I just got you back and I don't want to lose you or anyone again," she looked at me worrisome, "I would gladly trade our kingdom just for all of us to be a family again."

Those last few words made me sad knowing what she'll give up but I couldn't let that prevent me from doing this, "Mother, I know how you feel but if we were to leave there wouldn't be anywhere to go. Upendo is working with the Warlords and they're going to take over this land and the far beyond. No matter where we go, we or anyone else won't be safe."

She looked down towards the ground disappointed, "I know son, it's just...I…"

My father placed his hand on her shoulder and looked at her with a very small smile on his face. He then looked at me, "What your mother is trying to say is, if it becomes too much we can just come up with an escape plan to leave our home and come back with a strong plan of attack. Although my brother may be crowned king, we will come back stronger."

I quickly said, "That's a foolish gamble, not only would we lose our element of surprise but we wouldn't have any information about what's happening in the kingdom. We may be able to send mail to one another but I knew that since Upendo is going to be king things around here are going to get out of control, or fluctuate as they are trying to adjust the kingdom. We could lose our advantage right now, we know what's happening tomorrow and can strike without them knowing what's happening. All we need is just to finalize our plans and get the documents that will prove your innocence."

My father looked at me concerned, "Son I know but we just worried about that. We don't want you to go to the castle, we're worried that something could happen to you."

That comment from him just infuriated me, "As I said before I don't need you to worry about me. I did fine without your help."

My father looked a bit surprised about what I said but before he could respond my mother spoke up, "Ronde I understand that you're upset with your father but he's trying to make things right between you and him. Please don't be mean to him."

"You of all people should know the reason why I'm upset, after everything I went through between the beatings, verbal abuse and naming me the way you did. Of course I'll be upset."

My mother and father looked at each confused and my mother said, "I don't excuse what he did to you when you were a child, he's trying to make it right now. But what do you mean by your name?"

I looked at them bewildered, "You name me after the word 'Runt' both father and those kids called me that to make fun of me."

My father looked at my mother scared while my mother was trying to process what I just said. Suddenly she looked angry and elbowed my father's stomach where my grandmother patched as he flinched in pain. I was confused until my mother spoke to my father, "I told you years ago if you kept telling him that he'll believe that was the meaning of his name."

My mother looked at me with a faint smile and said, "You're named doesn't mean runt. Ronde your name isn't from our language, same as mine, you're sister and your father. Our parents were Learning different languages but also trying to combine a few to make it easier for other people to communicate with one another. Your father's name means angry because when he was born his mother always committed that he looked angry When he was a newborn. When you were born I wanted to honor your grandparents by naming you in that language. You're named means round."

I had to do a double take, "Wait...What!? Was I a fat baby?"

My mother laughed, "No it was nothing like that. You had a very round head. Even after a few months old you still couldn't hold your head up properly you just kept bobbing it about. It was perfect for you. The name also sounded like your father's."

I don't know how to feel about this. That is the origin of my name. I don't know which is more insulting, what I thought it meant is what it actually means. I saw Kindle and the others snickering in the other room. Well that is my limit today, "Alright I'm done, father sit down so we can continue to discuss our plans."

He failed, holding in his laughter, he followed me back to the table and we both sat down. Everyone was holding in their laughter but we continued to talk about the castle's defenses when the front door suddenly opened. Expecting my mentor to be the one opening I got up to greet him but to my surprise it wasn't him, it was that girl that spard with Kindle a few days ago.

She looked around at all of us, "A bit overcrowded don't you think?"

I as well as the others didn't know what to do. Was she here to report us to my uncle?

When I was about to ask, my mentor walked beside her and told her, "Well this place can only hold 4 people but it's the safest place they can hide."

I lowered my guard when I saw the both of them acting in a calm manner. I asked, "So she's the one who's going to help us?"

She looked at and said, "We'll discuss that when I see the king. But for now I have a few questions to ask."

Hiccup responded, "Ok...what are they?"

"Do you truly believe that you can give the king his throne back? Our new king has a substantial amount of evidence against his brother for treason even though I don't believe a single word of what was said during the spring festival ceremony. But do you have a way to give him his throne back without killing our next king, his brother?"

I was confused about the part about when she said that she didn't believe what that villager said was true? How does she know?

I looked at her, "Yes there is a way but we need to get inside the castle without being caught. If you can help us with that then we'll do the rest tomorrow to help the king regain his throne and the trust of his village again."

She smiles excitedly, "Excellent I'll help but getting within the castle is going to be extremely difficult. It's heavily guarded with no opening, or at least with any blind spots."

I was concerned about how she knew this, "How do you know about this? As if you tried to sneak in before."

She looked at me and told me, "I just wanted to see the queen's garden. I hear it was a beautiful place where dragons come and go as they pleased."

So that's the reason she knows? She's probably got caught a few times around the wall but they probably never could catch and detain her. That being said, how can she help get in without getting caught?

Lelieblom continued by saying, "However I'm risking my safety and well-being to help you all. If I'm going to do this I expect some sort of reward if this works."

My father grudgingly sighs, "What do you want? Money, resources, fame?"

She looked at my father, "A good early start and enough money to help my family in the other tribe. My family is from the tribe that helps with resources, mainly food and clothing however I want to make their lives easier. Also I'm training to be a crown guard, once I graduate I would like to be a part of guards that help protect our kingdom and king. But I heard it was difficult to get to that status without getting notice. If you can help my family and allow me to be a part of those guards that help protect our lives when I graduate I will gladly help."

I was surprised, she's from the other tribe. She must have worked hard to get here and be noticed by my mentor. But does she live here in a tribe or does she travel back to her family? I haven't seen her on a dragon before so that would mean that she might live in those small houses built for one person on the edge of the village.

My father said, "If you do an excellent job I'll do more than that but fine I'll help you, but do you mind if I ask you a question?"

"Yes, what would you like to know?" Lelieblom asked.

My father looked a bit uncomfortable while saying, "Why do you want to help me? Most teens around your age group hate me because I command the raid that led to most of their parents' demise. Why do you want to help me?"

Lelieblom shook her head, "Those kids are acting on emotions and don't realize that it was their parents who chose to go. Although I don't know what it's like to lose my family, I know that if my father would have died in battle I knew it was because he tried to protect our way of life through the loss of his. I wouldn't be mad if he lost his life that way. I would be honored but again some of those kids didn't have anyone to take care of them so I guess I'm a bit biased on how they should feel. However, they're missing the biggest picture and the fact that you were out there helping the men and women defeat a huge dragon that came out of the nest. You weren't just standing back and giving orders from a safe distance, you were in the battle helping those in the front line. My father said you were the reason why he's still alive to this day. That's why I want to help and know that what your brother said was a lie."

My father looked like he was about to cry much to my surprise but he composed himself and said, "I thought I'll never hear that coming from someone around your age group. Thank you."

Lelieblom said, "if you really need to get inside the castle walls we need to be invisible to the guards' senses. The best thing that I think could work is to have some sort of dragon that can turn invisible like a Changewing or we could try to climb the wall somehow. But sneaking in through in disguise won't do it. They'll check at the front entrance for unwelcome guests. But other than that there's no possible way to get in without being caught."

The thought of myself changing into my Chimera dragon form popped into my head but I was afraid that transformation would make my scales on my body spread more or possibly I wouldn't change back. But even in the worst case scenario the fact is I can only change 3 times a day now and the 2 times I change I'll be a bit exhausted to fly. The day I rescued my parents and sisters I was running on pure adrenaline. After I flew off with Thunder I felt a bit of pain still lingering around my body. Right now I don't want to risk that unless it's absolutely necessary.

I looked towards her and the other's and said, "Just give me a few minutes to think of something with the suggestions that you gave me."

I needed to go outside to think more clearly about a plan so I opened the front door. I started to walk past my mentor's plants around his garden. When suddenly someone places their hand on my shoulder. I turned around and it was Kindle looking quite confused and said to me, "So what are you planning on doing? Are you going to change and sneak in?"

I looked over towards my shoulder at her, "No unless it's necessary. I don't want to make the scales on my body spread. It's a little difficult now to keep them the same color as my skin. Not that it's painful or anything but it's like I'm multitasking trying to keep it up. But for now I just need to think of a way to get in."

She looked at me very concerned, "But what if...no it's your choice but how will you get inside without you turning into a dragon? You can't just climb the wall, it's too smooth to get a grip? We also don't have a dragon that can turn invisible or camouflage itself other than what you can do, how can you get in without changing into a dragon?"

"I don't know, the best I could hope for is Hiccup's Night Fury during the night but that when the castle is on high alert more guards will show up."

She looked at me confused, "What a Night Fury?"

"That black dragon that Hiccup rides. It's rare or that dragon might be the last of its kind but that doesn't matter right now. The other dragons won't help either. The Nadder, Nightmare, Gronckle and Zippleback wouldn't be able to do it either. Thunder is fast but she can't sneak in the…castle...without…"

'Wait a second she has! But did anyone notice her?'

Kindle then said, "I'm new at this but you stop talking mid sentence and your eyes lit up. Does that mean you have a plan?"

I nodded, "Yes but I need to talk to my parents then Thunder. Follow me."

I quickly ran back through the field and busted the door open much to everyone's surprise. I quickly saw my parents but Lelieblom was still there so I said, "My...king and queen I need you two to think carefully and try to remember but have there been any reports of a Skrill in the garden or in the castle? Or better yet, have there been reports of any dragons just flying around the castle?"

My mother thought for a moment, "No, not that I can recall."

My father then said, "I have been getting some reports of a pinkish dragon flying around the castle but they said it just disappeared or they couldn't find where it was heading. I believe I got that report a few days after the spring festival."

I'm a bit excited now but I need to be 100% sure, "But have there been any reports about a dragon entering the castle?"

My father looked confused, "No, that would be impossible for a dragon to sneak in."

I shook my head, "You would think that but our ancestors didn't build that castle in mind that our people would be riding dragons. There's a blind spot that my dragon found without even realizing it."

My mother looked a bit concerned, "What are you talking about?"

I looked towards everyone and said, "Look I may have a plan to get within the castle but I need to see my dragon first. I'll be back in a few minutes so just sit tight."

I quickly opened the door and ran towards the forest while Kindle ran behind me. I yelled out her name, "Thunder are you here? Come out, I need to talk to you!"

After a few moments something landed behind us and when I turned around it was her, ("Partner can this please conclude? I want to see my potential mate again. He might be worried that I'm taking this long to return to him.")

I started to walk towards her. We stared at each other for a few moments but I decided to reach out and rubbed her chin, "I'm sorry I forgot about that and thank you for not flying off you know that it could have alerted people we were possibly here. I promise this will be over tomorrow if we do things correctly. But I need to ask you a few things and then after that I may need your help with something."

She had an expression of concern but said, ("Ok, what do you need to know?")

"Do you remember the day that you were upset that those Kin only wanted to mate with you and not form a bond?"

She looked a bit uncomfortable but she said, ("Yes how could I forget those rock headed fools.")

I then asked, "Do you know how you got within my home? It turns out that no one, not even the guards saw you enter. I'd like to know how you did that and if so could you take me and someone else there without being caught."

Thunder gave me a surprised expression, ("I just found an open door with a ledge on the outside that I could fit in. I didn't do anything special like ride the lights into the sky or anything.")

Every time she said light I assumed she meant lightning but that was it she found an open window? Was it that simple for her?

She got closer to me, ("If you need to I could take you there but in order to hide you I need to fly in certain ways to keep those Two-leg from seeing you. But you may have a hard time holding on because of my scales.")

I smile, "We just need to borrow a saddle from the others but thank you for helping Thunder. I promise I'll try to make this up to you somehow very soon. Could you follow me for a second? I need to tell the others of my plan."

She nodded and myself Kindle and Thunder went back towards the house.

I open the door and yell, "I have an idea to get inside the castle."

It seems everyone was having a conversation while drinking tea and water around my mentors table. They were all just staring at me confusedly.

I quickly composed myself and said, "My Dragon Thunder had gone inside the castle without being noticed before. If someone else comes with me we could sneak in together and find those letters."

My mother put down her mug and gave me a very concerned look, "That's too dangerous, you could easily get caught."

I said, "It is dangerous if we get caught but...my queen and king please remember that our ancestors built the castle in mind to protect those in the royal family from other people and dragon attacks. But they didn't expect the future generation to integrate dragons into our home. They didn't compensate for that when they built the castle and my dragon found a blind spot. It was in one of those empty rooms that could fit a dragon inside. The king told me that there wasn't anyone who reported a dragon entering the castle and that's what Thunder did."

She looked a bit confident, "Are you sure that this will be safe for you?"

I nodded, "It will be safe to enter however sneaking around to find your room might be a bit more difficult but if myself and others are careful and can be each other's lookout then I know we can succeed."

She still looks worried, "Fine just be careful, if you find yourself endangered, flee at once."

I smile, "I will and tried my best not to get caught."

I turned towards my father, I'm still slightly agitated but I tried to remain calm and asked him, "Do you have anything to say?"

He looked a bit surprised but said, "Just be safe, I'll pray for your return."

I wasn't expecting him to say that. For almost a decade I thought he was just a cold hearted father that only cared about his kingdom. Even though he's apologizing I assume that he would return to his old ways but he hasn't. Instead he's remained like this ever since he found out who I was. Where was this side of him when he was training me?

I quickly saw Lelieblom finished drinking her mug and got up, "So I assume that your dragon knows the way correct?"

I nodded, "Yes but we need a saddle for my dragon. Knowing her she needs to hide our presence in the air so she may have to fly sideways," I turn my attention to Hiccup, "Is it possible for me to borrow one from you?"

Before he could answer, Skild said, "If you're riding that Skrill my dragon's saddle might be able to fit your dragon."

He got up and went towards his back door to grab something, when he came back he showed us his dragon's saddle. It was just a bit bigger than what I was expecting but it could fit around her. He said, "My dragon is a Nightmare and has a similar body structure to a Skrill so it should work on your dragon."

I guess this could work, "Alright, just make sure that it's secure to the point we won't fall off and it is not uncomfortable for Thunder."

He nodded and we went outside, Lelieblom was a bit surprised to see a Skrill just waiting at the door. My mentor was about to put the saddle around her but she seemed uneasy so I said to Thunder, "He's going to try to put that saddle on you so we can have an easier time flying with you ok?"

She looked a bit uncomfortable but just accepted my explanation and allowed him to put the saddle on her. Lelieblom looked over at me and said, "So it does understand you? That's good, it will make things a bit easier while traveling. Tell me however, do you know how to do hand signals?"

"Yes I do, it will make things a bit easier to sneak around without uttering a single word. I know where the king and queen rooms are, not far from where we'll be dropped off but we have a narrow path that we have to follow and not much cover other than sneaking into rooms when we hear something or someone coming."

She shrugged, "I figured as much but how do you know if the rooms are going to be locked or not?"

I Looked over towards my mentor, almost done strapping the saddle on Thunder but said out loud, "The rooms with nothing valuable inside are always unlocked. It is not ethical to keep the doors locked when we can just go in and out of the place to take something out like a robe, a box or something."

I noticed she was quiet for a few moments until I looked over and saw her staring at me strangely, "Yeah...I guess that makes sense."

Suddenly my mentor spoke, "It's on, not too tight but just enough so it won't slip or slide off."

I looked over towards Thunder, "So how does it feel?"

She gave me a disappointed look, ("Let's just get this over with so I may take this off as soon as I can. It smells like a male was on top of me and my potential mate might get the wrong idea.")

I laughed, "Right, come on."

As we were walking I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around and saw Kindle walking forward towards us. I was a bit confused, "Kindle are you trying to say goodbye before we leave?"

She looked shocked and stuttered, "I-Im not going with you?"

Oh no I didn't explain it properly to her, "Kindle...I'm not trying to upset you or anything like that when I say this but in order for this to work I need someone like Lelieblom to help. She knows how to signal sneak around and she was someone whom my mentor chose to help. I trust his judgment and he trusts her. Another thing is Thunder can only support 2 people, any more than that will most definitely be too much for her."

She looked disappointed, "So I'm a burden when it comes to this huh…"

No, she had it wrong, if Lelieblom wasn't here I would have taken her regardless. But I just need chances of this to be more successful and with Lelieblom it seems possible but that doesn't mean that if Kindle were to come it wouldn't be possible just a bit difficult. But she doesn't need to feel like she's a burden. I walked next to her and smiled, she was taken aback when I kissed her, "Listen Kindle I don't think you are a burden of any kind. We all have a role to play in this, you know from what I told you before I met you I've been sneaking around place to place for my own survival so that is why I'm doing this. You are strong, quick thinking and brave, I'm going to need you to keep the others in line because us warriors and Vikings don't think the same way. They're more headstrong and straightforward but we can't afford that right now. Could you please look after them and continue planning?"

She looked a bit happier, "I will."

She suddenly looks towards Lelieblom, "Hey."

Lelieblom looked at her and to my surprise Kindle said, "Don't make any moves on him."

I was completely confused and the atmosphere felt a little off.

Lelieblom looked at me up and down and then at Kindle and smirks, "Oh, that cute but don't worry he's not my type. I'm only doing this to get an early start as a crown guard."

At the moment I felt relief and anger, this is the second time that a girl has rejected me! But at the same time I'm happy that I'm with Kindle.

"All right be safe you two and remember the art of being invisible is to be invisible to your enemies senses," my mentor said to the both of us.

Both myself and Lelieblom nodded, I started to walk towards Thunder and got on her back. I helped Lelieblom up as well but she looked a bit uncomfortable but she placed her hands on my shoulder.

I turned my attention towards my mentor and Kindle and said, "If everything goes smoothly we'll be back within an hour or so."

They both nodded and I petted Thunder on her neck, "Take us on the same path you got within the castle."

Thunder looked towards the direction of my village and began to flap her wings. We were in the sky in just a few moments. We started to fly over my village and it looked out of sync. There weren't that many people out on the street. Was this just our people preparing for the coordination tomorrow?

"So who are you?"

I turned my head to see Lelieblom staring at me. What is she on about now, "What are you talking about now?"

She then said, "I'm just a bit confused. It's all about you. Who are you? I mean why are you helping the king and queen? Most of the teens I know hate the king because of what happened a few years ago when we raided the dragon nest and some of their parents died."

I just looked forward to where Thunder was flying, "My parents aren't dead and I have no ill will or animosity towards them. But I know that the king and queen are the best ones to lead our village. Plus now I know the truth, I have to help them."

She scoffed at what I said, "That doesn't explain why though. What is your connection to them? In fact, what is your connection with my master? He said you graduated early but I've never seen you before. I've been my master since I was 11. You look like you're 17 or 18 but you don't look familiar either so who are you?"

I looked at her, "You asked too many questions and you might be overthinking this. Just focus on helping me get these documents."

She then said, "Asking too many questions never hurt anybody?"

I stared at her with a very blank expression, "You're curious and that has gotten people killed. All you need to know is that I want to help my kingdom before it is too late."

She looked a bit disappointed, "So what, you're going to kill me if I know more about you?"

I sighed, "I never said I was going to do anything but the Pursuit of knowledge of someone's past can lead to more problems than it's worth. If you're willing to take that gamble then by all means but be prepared for whatever follows."

After a few moments of silence she began to laugh, "Ah I see so you really don't want me to find out about you? Ok, fine."

"To tell you the truth after the ceremony tomorrow if everything goes to plan then you might find out my relations to the king and queen but for now let that be extra motivation for you to help me get these documents and letters."

She looked unsatisfied, "Fine but tell me this, are you dating someone from the FitaFita tribe? I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that but it would seem unlikely that one of them would come over to our home."

Of course she would know that Kindle is from another tribe outside of our own, "She was exiled with nowhere to go. I wanted to help her find a place where she could live, and yes we are a couple."

"Good for you, well I'll guess I'll stop asking questions for now."

I turned towards her, "Good."

Suddenly Thunder growled, ("We have arrived, please hang on tightly.")

I looked over and saw the castle up ahead and even from this distance I could see some of the guards walking on top of the walls. Thunder was flying at an angle where they couldn't completely see that there was some on top of her.

"Hold on tight, she has to fly in a certain way so they can't notice us."

Lelieblom only nodded.

As we got closer Thunder continued to fly at an angle until we were completely sideways and at a 90° degree angle. The good news was that there were other dragons flying to and away from the castle and from the looks of it there was no one on top of them and we could easily blend in with the few dragons flying towards the castle.

After a few moments the garden came into view and Thunder flew up higher away from the other dragons that were about to land. But as we were flying upwards I noticed that from both my left and right there was no possible way for any guard to see us because the walls couldn't go as far as the garden. I get it now how she was able to sneak in. From the entrance to the garden there are guard towers from both on the left and right but there isn't a station in the middle or a path around so both sides can meet. There is no point because behind the middle wall is the water surrounding the castle, barely enough room for a person to stand on the edge. But because of that the towers don't have a good view from the entrance especially the higher we go because of the structure of the the castle the walls are protecting us from view.

Thunder suddenly slowed down and landed on the wall, the sudden change of weight surprised me and I clung on to the saddle and Lelieblom held on to my stomach uncomfortably tight.

Thunder started to climb the wall sideways until she found an opened window that she could fit us all in.

("We made it this is where we met when I was upset. I apologize if I scared you by sticking to the wall but I didn't want the other Two-leg to see us.")

I quickly got off of her and rubbed underneath her chin, "You did great," I looked over towards Lelieblom who was still a bit shaken by thunder climbing the wall, "If I'm correct we're on the other side of the castle where the king and queen bedroom are."

She tried to compose herself but breathing in slowly, "So, do you know the way from here? You can probably guess but I've never been inside this castle before."

I nodded, "Yes, however when we get to the stairs that is when we'll be most exposed. The stairs are a 3 way path, one to go towards the left hallway then right or middle that goes downstairs. We should be in the left hallway and the bedroom is on the right side. In order to get there we have to go down the steps towards the middle and right hallway but there is little to cover us but some railing. But we have to be extremely careful because literally in the center of this place all the people down stairs in the hallway could see us if there is anyone down there."

She sighs, "Of course, it wouldn't be that easy."

"We could go to the third floor and take that hallway around and back down the steps on the other side but I know that there might be a guard or two up there walking around. We can't be seen at all otherwise they'll put this whole place on lockdown and possibly change the orientation tomorrow which will mess up our plans so we're not going that path. Once we open that door we can't not talk, we can only signal each other. Since you don't know this place I'm going to take the lead and I need you to be my extra eyes and ears."

She nodded and I walked towards Thunder, "We'll be back soon if you hear someone coming in you can flee or hide in the shadows of this room."

She growled, ("I well do just that if need be.")

I went towards the door and looked at Lelieblom, "Are you ready?"

She nodded, "Yeah let's find those papers."

Just then I turned the doorknob and cracked it to see the hallway in front of me. I also listened out to hear any footsteps or and sounds of a person nearby, I didn't hear anything. I peeked my head out further to look both ways to see if anyone was around. It seemed to be cleared so I completely opened the door slowly and came out and signal Lelieblom to follow me. We slowly walked down the hallway leaning on the right wall, there were doors on both sides but this way if either of us sees or hears someone coming in our direction we could easily hide in one of the doors that were unlocked.

So far so good it seems as both of us continued to slow walking down the hallway. Up ahead I could see the staircase. This might be a bit of a problem. As we got to it I peeked around the corner and I saw a few guards walking around the entrance. Two of them looked a bit worried for some odd reason and kept muttering something about, "Bring those dragons before he gets here!" They Were not talking about us or the dragon Riders so I didn't see a point to listen however they aren't focusing over here mainly just the entrance waiting for something or someone. But we still have to be careful.

I signaled Lelieblom to slowly sneak down and up the steps and to stay low. She understood and nodded, I went down the steps first by putting my feet out and slowly slid down. It may look silly but this way I could control my descent and have the most cover from the railing and if I see someone looking over in this direction I can stop myself so they couldn't notice any movement.

I continued to slide until I made it towards the bottom. I looked through the railing to see if there was anyone looking over in my direction. They weren't so I climbed up the stairs on all fours like a dragon and made it to the top. I looked over to see the guards still panicking but I looked towards Lelieblom and signalled her to come over.

She was reluctant but slowly slid down the steps just like I did. She looked at me again waiting for me to give her the go ahead. I looked over and saw they still weren't looking over in this direction so I signaled her to come my direction. She continued forward and climbed up the steps but unlike me she didn't walk on her hands and feet instead she crouched low going up the steps.

Creeeeeek….

The moment I hear that noise I quickly reach down to grab her shirt to pull her up. I wasn't thinking about the landing only getting her out of sight but when I pulled her up she fell on top of me. For a few short moments we just stared at each other but it was just too awkward for me so I whispered to her, "Get off me…"

She got angry and whispered back, "You're the one who pulled me up here…"

She got off of me by putting her hand on my face on purpose to get herself up. I was irritated but then I heard someone from downstairs said, "Hey what was that?" Another one said, "Probably another baby dragon has escaped from the garden again, one of you go check it out before he gets here!"

"Crap…"

I heard someone approaching the steps. I quickly grabbed Lelieblom's hand and rushed us to the nearest door. The first door on the left was the first one I tried but when I turned on the doorknob I realized it was locked! Second time the charm right? I quickly went to the door on the right and it was locked too!

I could hear the guard coming half way up the steps! I had to think what rooms shouldn't be locked! My parents room, my room and….my sisters room! That's it! It should be the fifth door on the right!

I tried to run quietly across the hallway and Lelieblom was close looking very concerned. I could hear the guard coming up from the stairs but I could see my sister's room from here. I quickly tried to open the door and it was unlocked just as I hoped I quickly gestured for Lelieblom to go inside first. She did just that and I went inside after her and slowly and quietly closed the door.

After a few moments I heard the guards footsteps getting closer and closer and as they were I was getting more nervous.

But when I heard the footsteps further up the hallway I slightly calmed down. We were safe for the time being.

When the footsteps further away I went towards Lelieblom angrily, "What the hell was that…! Master told me that you were good at stealth but you made the floor creak…! Why didn't you do what I did to climb up the stairs...? I used my hands and feet to disperse my weight on the stairs instead of crouching low..!?"

She looked a bit irritated but reluctantly whispered, "Look I'm sorry...I'm not used to sneaking into people's houses or in this case a castle. I'm...no we were taught how to sneak through forests or places outdoors, we aren't assassins. I thought that sneaking around this castle would be easier because of the cover and rooms that we could enter but when you couldn't unlock the first door I began to panic. Look I apologize for that I didn't realize why you climbed up the stairs like a four-legged animal."

I realized that she was right, our mentor didn't teach me stealth. I learned I'm sneaking out all the time to get away from here. Furthermore I learned from my Sire as well. My experience is a bit different from hers. I sighed, "No, it's my fault, we should have further discussion about our strengths and weaknesses."

After a few moments of silence she asked, "How did you learn?"

I thought about if she told her, not everything but just enough, "Our master didn't teach me about sneaking around indoors. I learned that by myself. I...used to sneak out of my parents house a lot to see my grandmother or just to explore. Also I learned from people outside of Afri."

She looked confused, "Outside? Like into other lands? But only those who hunt are allowed outside of our borders."

I sighed, "Well I sort of ran away and traveled throughout the world. I met a few...people and they taught me so much each time I traveled somewhere new. That's how I met Kindle and the others but...the queen found me and we made a deal that she'll help me and Kindle if I were to return home."

She gave me a questionable look, "Alright I guess that somewhat explains why you're helping the king and queen. But what about your parents? Are they still alive, do they know about you or your wellbeing?"

I looked at her and smiled, "You asked too many questions, yes and yes. Now then let's drop it and focus. The king and queen rooms are further down the hallway on the left."

She rolled her eyes, "Whatever."

I stood next to the door and placed my ear on the door frame and my hand on the ground to feel any vibration if someone was walking past.

We waited for a few minutes but eventually the guard came back through the hallway, based on the vibrations I felt from the ground and heard in the hallway the guard was heading back. I slightly cracked the door and I heard him yell, "I didn't see anything. Perhaps it was just the fact the boards are old or something?"

Well our kingdom education was wasted on him but I'm thankful for it. Once I heard muttering from down stairs I completely opened the door and singled Lelieblom to be quiet and follow me. She got out of the room. I closed it gently and we continued through the hallway.

For what I can tell most of the guards are down stairs and outside around the wall. Maybe it's because the coordination is tomorrow but whatever it is we're lucky that we decided to do this today otherwise they will probably be more spread out. But the thing that is so much bothering me is why do they look worried?

My thoughts were interrupted when we finally made it to my parents room. Yeah double sided doors with our family's Insignia on it, yep this is it. I place my ear on the door to listen inside. For a moment I didn't hear anything or anybody inside so I slowly opened the door and thanks god it unlocked. Both of them slowly went inside to discover that the whole room was a mess not from my parents but as if someone was looking for something. My mother's oils were on the floor along with her dresses, her whole desk as well as her contents were also on the floor. My father had his clothes scattered throughout the room and papers all over the floor.

Lelieblom whispered, "What the hell happened here? It's like a hurricane destroying this place."

I looked around the room while saying, "This is what happened when you tried to cover your tracks. This proves that Upendo was looking for something and for our sake let's hope he didn't find anything."

If I remember correctly, my father said that he always places his important documents in a secret apartment in his closet behind some wall. I looked inside to see again some of his and my mother's clothes on the floor. I looked around on both sides of the closet but nothing looked out of the ordinary. I need to look closer but still the fact that we could be caught concerns me, "Hey Lelieblom the king told me that it was in here but I need you to be on the lookout just in case they come back."

She nodded and went towards the door crouching low and listening out. Meanwhile I'm looking through the closet to see any kind of opening or holes that I could see. I tried looking closely at the bottom half of the wall, the floor and a quarter of the wall had wood on it but the rest was just bricks but I didn't see any cracks or openings in the wall.

'There has to be something I'm missing right? I'm positive if my uncle found it he would have left it open just like he didn't clean this room. But my father must have hidden well. He said behind the wall inside of his closet.'

Wait a minute if there is a hole or something Hollow the wall will make a different sound if I were to tap the wall!

I lead up and down around the wood parts of the wall and the bricks. After some time had passed I was getting closer towards the end but before I was about to hit the middle wall the brick on the far left wall made a different sound compared to the rest. After hearing the difference between another part of the wall. I was excited. I think I found the spot!

I placed my hand around the brick, there was enough room for my fingers to get a grip and pull. After a few moments it began to pull out and when it finally came I placed the brick on the ground and grabbed what was inside the hole it was a box. When I opened it turned out to be papers written in Swahili and the top one was written in Norse...signed by...Hiccup! This was it, the box full of documents that was needed to prove my parents innocent!

I also looked inside the hole to see if there was anything else. There was a folded piece of paper inside. It looked old and slightly crumbled but I managed to open it. As I opened it I was wondering why it was in the far back until I finally opened it. It was a drawing, a child's drawing of a family with a dragon. It wasn't very detailed and the lines were slightly faded.

'Wait a second...is this mine? One boy, me, two girls Akili and Moyo, a father and a mother, my parents and a dragon? Wait, that dragon is supposed to be Dapper? This is one of my drawings when I was a child but why is it here? My father kept this?'

I saw Lelieblom looking a bit irritated, 'Right we got what we came for,' I placed the paper inside the box, placed the brick back into place and went over to where Lelieblom was standing, "Alright I got it we can go back. I don't know if there are any guards on the 3rd floor so I think it's best to see what the guards are doing on the first floor before we make the decision to go to the third floor. we'll see which one is safer before making a decision but I think we should go back the same way we came from."

She agreed and let me next to the door so I could take the lead again. I slightly cracked open the door to look around and to hear if anyone was around and to my surprise there was anything. I slowly came out of the room alongside Lelieblom and quietly closed the door. We started to walk towards the hallway quickly and silently.

"GRAHHHHHHHHHHH!" ("GET OFF OF ME! I'M NOT STANDING HERE!") A dragon roared.

"Get that dragon under control before he gets here now!"

Both I and Lelieblom stopped dead in our tracks when we heard roaring and yelling because for a moment I thought it was directed towards us but suddenly when we heard that guard yell not towards us but the dragon, our pace quickened more from curiosity than anything else.

The moment we got to the staircase we both looked down to see the guards struggling to control a blue and black Nightmare on the right side of the first floor. In fact there were a row of dragons on each side just either sitting down staring at the group of guards trying to control this one dragon or they were eating the food in front of them to keep them in one place. There were Nadder's Nightmares and Gronckle's

'What is going on? Why are there dragons in here? Especially a line up like this?'

Wait perhaps we could use this to our advantage!

Since the dragon was Roaring profanities that I'm not going to repeat at the guards I can talk. I turned around and looked at Lelieblom, "Their distracted follow close and paying attention to their field of vision. You don't have to worry about sound since the Dragon is roaring but they can still hear us when the dragon stops roaring. Let's go now."

We both quickly went down and up the steps without any incident. Only the dragons saw us but they probably thought we were a part of the guards. We quickly walked towards the hallway and towards the room where Thunder was. As soon as we opened the door I noticed Thunder in a defense position ready to pounce on us. Lelieblom looked slightly scared but when Thunder realized it was us she calmed down and lowered herself and came to me, ("Partner, I was worried for a moment. The Two-leg are gathering some of the kin in the place you call the garden and putting them inside of this place. I hear a kin yell a moment ago but it seems fine now.")

I had to be a bit discreet about how to respond because Lelieblom was next to me but I rubbed Thunder snout slowly, "I know but everything is fine we found what we were looking for."

Lelieblom said, "Great, I'm starting to sweat here. I haven't been this nervous about being caught in a while but let's meet up with the king and queen."

When she said that, I realized that my room was upstairs on the 3rd floor and we were next to the staircase leading up to it. Perhaps maybe I could…

I looked over Lelieblom and gave her the box. She was confused until I told her, "I need to make one more stop. If I'm not back within 15 minutes Thunder will take you back to the others."

She was flabbergasted, "Are you kidding me? We have what we came for and were almost caught. Why do you want to go back?"

I responded, "I need to get something. Now that I know that most of the guards downstairs I have a chance to go get something. Trust me if most of the guards weren't down stairs I would have left by now. But now that I know that the guards are only one place that gives me an opportunity to go get something real quick, this shouldn't take me long."

She looked even more irritated but she sighs, "Just go and hurry."

I nodded, went next to the door and said, "Don't open that box while I'm gone. I'm sure Thunder wouldn't like that, right girl?"

Thunder looked over to Lelieblom and back to me and growls, ("I sometimes dislike you but I'll make sure she doesn't open that thing.")

I said, "Great, " then opened the door to see if anyone was coming two from the hallway. I didn't see or hear anybody so I quickly and quietly ran through the hallway up the steps. The moment I was halfway I slowed my pace to see if anyone was on the top floor.

I peeked around the steps. There were candles lit in the hallway and across and from what I can tell no one else was up here so I quickly went to the hallway towards my room. I slowly opened it to make sure there wasn't anyone inside. I don't want a repeat of the blom situation. Once I went in I noticed that some of our stuff was moved around but my room wasn't a mess unlike my parents room. Seems they were just moving stuff around just to see whatever they were looking for was in here which was most likely the Box we just found.

I looked around and saw what I was looking for on my dresser. I found Kindle's clothes and beside my dresser was her axe and shield. I noticed lately that Kindle has been a little down because I think she didn't like to wear those clothes she was wearing during the Spring Festival and the clothes she was given from my master wife. I hope maybe if I give her this and get everything back to normal she'll be happy.

Quickly I grabbed her clothes and strapped her shield and axe on my back and exited my room. Same thing as before no one was in the hallway so I quickly went back down steps. When I did I slowed my Pace once more just to make sure there was no one coming up from the hallway. I peeked around and didn't see anybody so I went back towards the door where Thunder and Lelieblom were waiting for me. I place my hand on the doorknob.

"NO! NO! NO! AND NO! THIS WON'T DO AT ALL!"

I stopped moving when I realized who's voice that was. It belongs to my uncle! I couldn't believe it, why was he here? He hasn't been crowned King yet and has his own place where he lives. He hasn't moved in yet, no this was something else. I had to see what was happening.

I quickly walked across the hallway without making that much noise and peeked around the staircase. I saw my uncle in my father's royal robe inspecting the dragon on both sides on the first floor with my father's counselors.

'Why is he wearing my father's robes!? That's for special occasions! Not just to wear! Why couldn't he make or order one? Does he really think he can be better than my father? It makes me angry just seeing him in that!'

My uncle continues to look at the dragons and shakes his head, "No, these dragons will not suffice, I need dragons that no one has seen a thousand times before. These dragons are the most common in the kingdom! Tomorrow is the ceremony that will crown me king and yet I need a dragon that no one else owns. I need this to be a spectacle! The Threadtail are too wild, they won't listen to anyone. Tell me, are there any reports of any other species of dragons?"

One of the guards walked towards my uncle and bowed, "We had a report of a Boneknapper in one of the other tribes. It seems to have missed its opportunity to find a partner in time but for some reason it hasn't left Afri yet."

My uncle looked disappointed, "What else?"

"Oh, well there was a report of a pink Skrill that was dropped off at the breeder by two teens but the dragon had disappeared without a trace."

I saw my uncle's face get slightly excited when he heard that there was a Skrill in Afri but his face returned to a scowl when he heard that the Skrill was gone. I believe that report was about Kindle and I gave Thunder to the local dragon breeder so she could find a mate but my uncle said, "What was the point of telling me that? If it is gone then there is no point in finding it now. I doubt you have anything on the two teens that brought that Skrill there in the first place?"

The guard looked nervous, "No sir I'm sorry it was just the information that was gathered around our villages."

Upendo just sighs, "A Skrill would have been perfect but no matter just find me a dragon that no one else has or find me an obedient dragon. All the dragons on both sides looked out of it and that blue and black nightmare looked like he went to mangle me."

I saw the blue and black nightmare was being held down by two guards. I was surprised that it didn't catch itself on fire but I think he knows that if he does the guards will either be rougher with him or possibly some other consequence that the nightmare didn't want to deal with. I could feel his anger but they had closed his mouth with their arms so he could growl. I felt bad that these dragons were only here to be some sort of prop to give my uncle a feeling of uniqueness.

One of the councilmen spoke up, "Upendo, perhaps it won't matter what kind of dragon you have. All that matters is how you will serve your people and lead them to a better future. Perhaps you should learn from your brother Woede, he did do wonderful things for our-"

The moment my name left her lips my uncle face was stuck with rage and cut her off by yelling, "DON'T YOU MENTION THAT TRAITOR NAME IN MY PRESENCE AGAIN! he's a sickness giving you all false hope about a better future. I know what to do to provide us a better future, a better secure future. I won't bother learning from him, I'll rule this kingdom in my own way, on my own terms."

I was slightly agitated but also curious. There was something about what he said that was odd. It was as if he was worried about something.

My uncle composed himself, "I apologize for my tone but tell me what's the update on my brother, his family and the foreigners?"

The other Councilman stepped forward, "There has been no signs of any of them around the kingdom. Are trackers lost Them outside of the borders Into the outlands. I believe they wash out their scent in a lake because that is where we lost track of them."

My uncle said, "I see, I doubt they escaped too far. Just in case add a few more guards around the village to spot them tomorrow during the coordination."

Everyone in the room bowed except for the men holding the Nightmare's mouth closed and went there separate ways. That's when I noticed that my uncle was about to walk up the stairs. I quickly paced myself back towards the door where Lelieblom and Thunder were waiting for me. I didn't make any noise but we had to go now. Once I opened the door Lelieblom looked shocked because she wasn't expecting me to come through the door so quickly.

I quickly and silently said, "No one didn't see me but we have to go now the king's brother is coming this way."

Lelieblom slightly panicked but Thunder quickly turned around towards the window waiting for us. I quickly got on and helped Lelieblom on her back as well. Lelieblom placed the box underneath her shirt and held on to me. I had one that had no Thunder saddle with me left and held on to Kindle clothes on my right side and Thunder quickly jumped out the window and dove down towards the garden. She opened her wing and we flew towards the our side of the castle and then towards the outlands. Once we were at a distance she began to turn towards my mentor's home. We did it, we got the evidence that will prove my father innocent.

Out of the blue Lelieblom asked, "So what was so important that you were risking our lives for? It better not be that sword and shield on your back."

I slightly turned my head, "Don't be ridiculous, I also grabbed these clothes on my side."

I saw her looking down over on my side and she just stared at me with her mouth open from shock. But after a few minutes she inhales and said, "That's stupid, You're stupid, why did you do something so stupid!"

I said, "It wasn't out of your way and it was something I needed to get. But maybe I am stupid for doing that however something good came out of it, but i need to think of something before I act again."

Kindle

It's been awhile since they left. I wonder why I was taking them so long? He said It wouldn't take them no more than an hour. I don't want it to get to dark.

Suddenly I looked over at the horizon and saw something coming towards this direction. I didn't know if it was him or the guards coming again. I hid around the closest pair of bushes until I could see who it was. When I finally heard something land next to the house I peeked out slightly to see who it was, to my delight it was Thunder, Ronde and Lelieblom.

I came out of the bushes, "You're back!," I quickly ran towards Ronde who and one of his arms opened and hugged me when I got closer to him. I said, "Sorry I know it was long that long but I was still worried."

He smiled, "It's fine, by the way I picked this up for you while I was there."

He handed me something that looked like the clothes but after a bit of inspection realized that these were my clothes but I wore them when I first got here. He also handed me my father's axe and shield.

I almost cried when I looked up at him, "You didn't need to grab this...but thank you for doing it."

His smile grew bigger, "I want you to feel more comfortable while we're in this situation. It's fine," suddenly he turned towards Lelieblom, "May I have the box please?"

Lelieblom reaches within her shirt and pulls out a box that looks a bit overfilled with papers and handed it to Ronde. He slowly starts to walk towards the house before stopping and turns around towards us, "Are you two coming? We have to show the others what we have."

Lelieblom looked slightly nervous but said, "Right let's make this quick."

We walked together towards Skild home when Ronde opened the door only to see his father with Hiccup, Astrid and Fishlegs around the table discussing something. But when Woede saw Ronde he smiled and got up, "You've returned, did you manage to find it?"

Ronde just handed the box over to him without saying a word much to his father's surprise. Woede after a few moments of silence asked, "Did you even look inside of it?"

Ronde responded, "Yes I had to make sure that they were in there. I saw the agreement that you and the chief had and older letters from a decade ago. I did however skim through it, I didn't read anything of yours."

Woede again looked a bit disappointed but said, "I see, would you like to help us plan for tomorrow? We could really use all the people we can to plan this."

Ronde then looked at his father then the others, "Actually could you just think of a route we can take around the kingdom and castle? I know that the coronation is tomorrow but there is something I need to do before I can come up with an idea. For now just do that, I need to do something."

Suddenly he started to walk towards the front door and went outside. Everyone, including myself, was confused when Lelieblom caught up to him.

Lelieblom asked, "Just what are you doing? Tomorrow is the big day and you're walking away while there trying to come up with a plan? You've been off ever since we retrieved that box. What's up with you?"

He slowly turned around, "Some of the circumstances have changed. I need to do something before we start planning. Thank you for helping me today Lelieblom, I do however think we may need your help tomorrow as well but there is only a small chance. But I'll let you know."

Lelieblom looked confused, "Wait what? You don't even know where I live to help you and why would I? I thought that this was all I needed to do."

Ronde then responded, "Like I said I may need your help tomorrow but this is only by chance. Also my dragon can track your scent so we'll be able to find you," he looked down towards the ground for a moment and back up to her, "I just need a little more time to test something before tomorrow, after that thing will come up with a plan. But until then I thank you for what you've done. You can go home now if you need to unless you want to stay."

She was contemplating whether or not to but after a few moments she said, "I'll leave, I think it's better if I go just in case if something were to happen over here I don't want to get caught. Also if you are going to need me tomorrow put me in a position where I'm not in the least compromised. I don't want others to know what I'm doing. I'm already risking a lot being here. But I believe in our master and I believe in our king that is why I'm doing this. But that's all I asked if you can manage to do that."

Ronde nodded, "I will, I'll possibly see you later."

Lelieblom turned around and waved goodbye, she went through the forest going towards the village. Meanwhile Ronde was walking towards Thunder so I went next to him, "Hold on what's up? Lelieblom was right, you've been a bit off ever since you came back."

He looked at me and sighed, "I saw my uncle."

I was shocked, "You did? Did he see you or something?"

He shook his head, "No, but I was so angry just to see him with no remorse of what he did. Hell he was wearing my father's royal Robe. But truly I was just saddened to see him."

"You were saddened? Why? After everything he's done you were saddened to see him?" I was confused.

He looked towards the ground, "I know but I'm just so confused about why he did this. I knew my uncle for years while I was here. He was nice, organized and helped those around him. But he was the one who drugged my dragon and caused me to get poisoned. Why? There has to be a reason for why he's doing all this. But that is not what's wrong. My uncle was yelling at the guards about finding the perfect dragon for the coordination tomorrow. He's changed but what he's said may give us an edge if I can do this."

I again was confused, "What are you talking about?"

He looked at me and smiled, "We're going to give my uncle exactly what he wants."

I then knew what he was about to do, "Ronde are you sure? You can't do it in your dragon body. He saw you while you were rampaging around the Cathedral."

He started to walk towards Thunder, "Yes but remember I can change into other species of dragons for a few months while my body is getting accustomed to their abilities. There's one other dragon I know I can change into, the chief's Night Fury but that may be too obvious. There is another species of dragons I haven't tried to turn into."

He got next to Thunder and started to rub her face, "If this works we have a shot of talking the kingdom back. We may have to come up with ways to distract the guards or get the message out about my family's innocence but in order to make the pieces fall into place I need to test this."

He got on Thunder's back and looked over to me, "I should be back before it gets too dark. I'm basically relearning how to do other things again so it may be a few hours but I'll be back. Tell the others to come up with a plan to spread the word of my family's innocence, when I come back we'll figure out the rest."

Before I had a chance to say anything he leaned down and kissed me, "I'll be back."

He padded Thunder's neck and they flew off towards the outlands.

I just stood there watching him fly further and further away wondering will this work? But then I realized I was wasting time as I walked towards Skild home. Once inside I explained to the others Ronde plans, they were a bit concerned. The coordination was tomorrow if this was wasting even more time. The Dragon Riders trusted his judgment. His father however looked a bit concerned but just continued to look through the papers within the box.

We then discussed ways to disperse the information to prove that Ronde's family was innocent but it would be hard because we couldn't give out the one letter I was sent to the king to prove his innocence we could only say it and write it down on a piece of paper but that wouldn't be enough proof to prove the villagers, they would all have to individually see the note which is too much. We would have to show someone higher up like the counselors or a few of the guards but that's only if they're willing to listen to us. We have to have a way to disperse some sort of letter through the village that would give the people a reason to ask questions and seek answers.

After nearly an hour of discussion we decided to take a break, there are more things that could go wrong then there are things I can go write for us.

I opened the door and sat down near it looking at the sky. The sun has nearly faded Over the Horizon, the sky is a dark blue and the Moon is nearly full. I know he said this might take a few hours but I'm starting to get a little worried.

But out of the corner of my eyes I looked over and saw something that looked like flashes of light, and after I saw them I heard a noise similar to Thunder coming from that direction. I wonder if that was them or was a storm coming? Either way I went back inside.

That's when I heard Fishlegs gasping, and ran as quickly as he could towards the table, "I have an idea that could work, that could give your people a way to ask questions about you and your brother Woede!"

Everyone gathered around the table next to Fishlegs. Woede then asked, "Please explain yourself. I'd like to hear this."

Fishlegs looked extremely excited, "Remember when you all discovered news about what's going on in your country? All that news and information come from the library correct?"

Woede slowly nods his head. Fishlegs continues, "Well if we managed to convince the owner he can make copies of the letters or at the least make a headline about the truth about you and your brother."

He thought about it for a moment then said, "It would seem like a good idea but how do we know that the librarian is willing to listen? I don't know the owner, only my wife and kids know about him."

Fishlegs smiled, "Well lucky for you I made a friend with the son of the owner. Maybe I could talk to him tomor-"

Suddenly the front door burst open. We all turned around to see who it was. For a moment I thought we were caught by the guards but it wasn't. He was unrecognizable but it was Ronde with his clothes burnt with holes in them, parts of his hair standing upright. He just stared at us with a huge smile across his face but slightly out of breath. He finally said, "Oh, don't mind me please continue. But it seems you were almost done explaining your plans. It is a good idea but I think it's best if we find him tonight Fishlegs. Tomorrow morning may not be enough time to create enough papers to spread to the village."

I got up as he walked towards us but I had asked, "Ronde are you ok?"

He looked over towards me, "I'm a bit burnt and electrocuted but other than that I'm fine, and it worked. I think I know a way to get the kingdom back but I need help finalizing it."

Hiccup got up, "Ronde if it means you're putting yourself in the most dangerous position we're not doing it."

Ronde then chuckled out loud, "Actually, as long as I don't do anything suspicious or act out of character I'm in the least dangerous position. But we may need some outside help that is still within our circle in order for this to be successful."

Everyone looked at Ronde confused for a few moments but Hiccup broke the silence, "Tell us your plan Ronde."

Ronde then sat down, "This is a team effort and I'm just throwing out ideas that will most likely work but if you think you can come up with something better or see a flaw within it speak up a let's come up with something better. But this is my first step of the plan and I need you all to listen.

A few hours later

Lelieblom

Why I'm I still nervous? It's been hours yet I can't shake this feeling.

Suddenly I hear something outside of my house. Then suddenly something was banging on my door. I was scared but the way it sounds like it wasn't a hand that was knocking on my door it was something bigger.

When I reached my door handle and turn to open it I was shocked to see two dragons in front of my house. However there wasn't anyone with them. That's when I realized one of the dragons was the one that boy was riding. Thunder is what he called it but the other one I don't recognize at all but it was the same species as Thunder.

Suddenly the one I didn't recognize came close to me. I was a bit scared but when it got closer it turned its body slightly and used its mouth to pull something out. It tried to hand it to me when I realized it was a piece of paper with something written on it. I pulled it out of the dragon's mouth and began to read it. It was from that boy I helped.

"What the hell!? He wants me to do what with these dragons? That's risking my safety!" I yelled.

The two dragons just looked at me and waited for me to do something. I sighed, "I should have just asked for money, come on you two flying reptiles I have to drop you off at the castle."
