Shizuka and Saya were sleeping peacefully without knowledge of what was happening. Saeko was cooking while Rei sat on the stairs thinking. While this went on, the boys of the team found out about the grim situation around them. Armed gangsters were trying to kill zombies on the street but they ended up getting bit and turning. But, that was not the only problem, a dog was barking outside the maisonette they were living in. Hence, the maisonette was surrounded by zombies.
" Indeed. The situation is getting worse. ", Saeko, who just came upstairs, commented looking through the binoculars.
" Damn! ", Sasuke cursed out as he walked to the room.
" Uchiha...are you going to shoot them? ", Kohta asked him.
" I'm turning the lights off. We don't want anyone coming here drawn by the light and our figures. ", Sasuke replied.
" You're right, Uchiha. We lack the ability to help the living right now. ", Saeko replied earning a surprised look from Sasuke.
" I was hoping that...you'd oppose me. That you'd be different. ", Sasuke told her.
" Don't get the wrong idea, Uchiha. I am merely stating the truth, just like you. ", Saeko told him sadly as she climbed down the stairs.
Sasuke gave out a frustrated sigh and sat with Kohta. He placed the binoculars in front of his eyes and looked through. Those creatures were eating a live human in the street left of them.
" It's literal hell out there! ", Sasuke commented with a twitch of anger.
" You can say that again... ", Kohta replied.
Sasuke then drove his attention to a particular father-daughter duo on the right. They entered a maisonette garden through the garden for safety. The father had a wrench in his hand for defense.
" Where is mommy? ", the girl asked.
" We'll meet up with her later! ", the father reassured her daughter, holding back his sadness.
' We should save ourselves... ', Sasuke told himself half-hearted.
He then proceeded to knock on the door, asking for safety. The residents inside did not respond. He then tried banging the door a little and it failed to get a response. Being out of options, he threatened to break the door. The residents opened the door and stabbed him in the stomach with a makeshift spear apologizing. ' We should save ourselves...', Sasuke told himself again, stopping his legs from moving.
The father took a couple of steps back and fell to the ground. The girl went forward to her wounded father.
"I'm...fine...Hide yourself...", the father told his daughter losing his life bit by bit.
' We should save ourselves...', Sasuke told himself again.
" Where there's...no one else...Hide yourself...Somewhere...", the father told his daughter breathing his last breath and closing his eyes, embracing the darkness.
' we should save our...', Sasuke told himself again.
The girl realizing her father's demise cried out to him in grief, attracting the attention of the zombies around her. Sasuke's eyes flashed with the images of the child ravaged by those savage monsters. The images drove the rage inside him to arise. As this went inside his head, a zombie approached the girl and was about to pounce on her.
" Noooo! ", The girl screamed out in fear as it lunged.
' To hell with this! ', Sasuke thought to himself as he got up.
The sound of a gun graced his ear. Sasuke turned to see that Kohta has shot down the zombie. Kohta then proceeded to shoot down more of those zombies with a smirk on his face. The continuous sound of shots attracted the attention of Rei and Saeko downstairs.
" Hirano...", Sasuke called him with a knowing smirk.
" What? ", Kohta asked him.
" What happened to not shooting? And abandoning people to save ourselves? ", Sasuke asked with a smirk.
" DUDE, IT'S A LITTLE GIRL! You're going to save her, right? I'll cover you from here. ", Kohta told Sasuke with conviction.
Sasuke charged downstairs with a smirk and his sword. Rei, who was near the stairs, noticed him walk downstairs.
" Sasuke? ", Rei asked in doubt.
" Be back after rescuing the girl. ", Sasuke told her with an excited smirk.
" Then, I'll go with y- ", Rei's reply was interrupted by Sasuke.
" No. Stay here and guard the gate. I'm going in the bike from the other side. ", Sasuke told her.
" But...", Rei tried to back her argument but failed to.
" Let him go... The man has spoken. ", Saeko told Rei.
" It seems I'm still human, Saeko ", Sasuke told her while wearing his gloves.
" Of course! I was already aware of that. We'll hold this place no matter what. You can go without worry. ", Saeko told him as she readied her blade.
Sasuke nodded at them while turning off the lights. Rei came forward and gave him the pistol. Sasuke equipped it with his sword and they all reached for the other side, where the bike was.
" Do not rely on the gun or they will flock to you after they hear you firing. ", Saeko warned him.
" Not more than this bike... ", Sasuke stated as he got on.
" Correct! However, the bike will be noisy because you are using it to move. But, you will not be in motion when you fire. ", Saeko explained.
" Sasuke? ", Rei asked Sasuke for confirmation as she heard zombies outside the gate. He signaled for her to open the gate as he throttled the bike. The bike flew over the horde of zombies in front. Saya had woken up to the sound of the bike while Shizuka lay asleep having a nice dream [A/N: About Sasuke]. Saya came downstairs brushing her eyes with her arm.
" What's all this commotion about? ", Saya asked the two.
" Somethin pleasant! ", Rei replied
" Huh? ", Saya asked confused.
" We realized that we're still human! ", Rei told her with a smile.
Meanwhile, He kicked one out of the way as he rode. Hirano assists him by shooting off the other zombies in his way. Sasuke reached the place faster than he expected. He noticed that the girl was cooped in a corner, fearing for her life.
" Stop! Go away! I haven't...done anything bad... Daddy! Daddy! ", The girl cried out in fear with a dog barking to defend her.
As the zombie was about to pounce on her, Sasuke jumped off the bike and landed near the zombie, and snapped its neck. The dog stopped barking in surprise as the girl looked up to see Sasuke slashing another zombie which attacked him.
" Good work! Just hold on a little longer! ", Sasuke reassured the girl.
Meanwhile, Saya went inside the maisonette to wake up the dreaming Shizuka.
" Teacher! Wake up! Come on Ms. Shizuka ", Saya called out. Shizuka twisted a little and sat up with a dreamy look on her face.
" It's breakfast time already? ", Shizuka asked childishly and cutely with her naked body glistening in sweat.
" Quit being childish! ", Saya said pissed off as she stretched Shizuka's chin.
" S-Stop it! ", Shizuka cried out.
Meanwhile, Sasuke took on more of those zombies inside the garden. He slashed one out of the way as he kicked and spun around to check on the girl. He turned around to the sound of a zombie on the other side of the garden. He launched himself in the air and slashed its head off. He turned around again to look at the girl.
" Behind you, Onii chan! ", The girl warned him as a zombie attacked him from behind, through the clothes put for drying.
Sasuke pulled out his gun and shot it right between the eyes in the nick of time.
" Thanks for that! ", Sasuke told the girl. The girl waved her hand in relief.
The zombies near the gates were taken care of by Kohta. " Hirano ", Saya called out to him. Kohta turned around to see Saya with a naked, dreamy Shizuka.
" Ms. Shizuka! ", Kohta cried out in embarrassment.
" Get ready to run. We can't stay here. We've been causing way too much commotion. ", Saya told him as she walked downstairs.
Outside, Saeko and Rei were watching the situation outside the gate as Saya walked down the stairs with Shizuka carrying a first aid kid, naked.
" Miyamoto. Let Bushujima-senpai stand guard. You should be helping us. Jeez , Would you put something on...", Saya told Rei and Shizuka.
" Oh, so that's why it feels so cold! ", Shizuka gasped in realization.
" So, is the car ready? ", Saya asked Saeko as Shizuka ran forward to get dressed.
" Now would be a good time to get in. They are being drawn to Uchiha. ", Saeko stated looking at the zombies hoarded near the gate barricading them from Sasuke and the girl.
" What should we do? He won't be able to get back here on the bike. ", Saya stated, looking at the situation.
" Then all we can do is go and meet up with him, right? ", Shizuka asked in a dreamy state while putting on her dress. The reaction that it garnered from the other girls can only be experienced in visual animation.
" U-Uhm, did I say something strange? I do have the keys... ", Shizuka asked blushing with embarrassment.
" No, it is a fine idea! ", Saeko said with a smile as Rei nodded.
" Then that's our only option! We're all set! After we pick up Uchiha, we'll go to the other side of the river! Get ready! ", Saya summed up the plan.
Meanwhile, Sasuke had killed all the zombies that were inside the garden.
" Onii-chan...", the girl called out.
" Hmm... ", Sasuke looked at the girl.
" Daddy...is dead. ", The girl stated looking at her dead father's corpse. The pain and guilt of loss filled Sasuke's eyes. A brief image of an old man's corpse filled his mind. Sasuke pushed that aside and walked forward. He took a white shirt from the hanger and a flower from the garden. He covered the father's body with the shirt and stretched his arm which was holding the flower to the girl.
" He died protecting you. What a great father he was! ", Sasuke told the girl. Tears filled the girl's eyes as she kept the flower on her father's body and cried out to him. Sasuke embraced the little girl as the girl caught on to him in grief.
Back at the Maisonette,
" We have a lot of stuff. Do you think it'll all fit? ", Shizuka asked Rei as they brought out the supplies from the hall.
" Ask yourself how we're supposed to get it in instead. What if they come while we're loading... ", Rei replied.
" We gotta be sneaky about it, like a Thief in an MMORPG ", Saya told them turning around, making her breasts jiggle.
" Then we shall do it that way. ", Saeko said with a smile and opened the gate. With Saeko on guard in the forefront, Shizuka got in the driver's seat and complained about it being on the left side rather than the right. Rei and Saya loaded the supplies inside.
' Make sure to stay alive until we reach there, Uchiha ', Saeko thought to herself.
Meanwhile with Sasuke,
" Don't be too loud or else those things will come over here. ", Sasuke told the girl while patting her head gently.
" We can't get out? ", The girl asked.
" There's so many of them on the street. ", Sasuke answered with a serious face.
" Can't we escape through somewhere other than the street? ", The girl asked innocently.
" How? By flying through the sky? ", Sasuke said with a sigh before an idea came to him.
To the Maisonette,
' We'll load up, get Uchiha and the girl, and leave this place. It looks good on paper but that much is tough to handle even for a Humvee. We'll need a tank or something to get over there and rescue them. ', Kohta thought to himself. Some kind of light blocked his vision, came from downstairs. He looked down to find Saya telling him to get downstairs.
' Alternatively, Uchiha would need to find a way out. ', Kohta thought to himself as he noticed something.
" I see. Good job, Uchiha! ", Kohta commented on Sasuke walking on the wall of the garden with the girl on his back and the dog in his front.
With Sasuke, Sasuke Uchiha feared nothing. Even when he fell from a big waterslide, he never did fear it. Even when he got beaten by his teacher, he never feared. Because he only had himself to take care of. But, right now, a little girl and a puppy's life was also at stake. Hence, he trod every step he took with care. To his avail, the dog started licking his neck in affection that tickled him. The girl stopped it before he lost balance.
" Are you scared? ", Sasuke asked the girl.
" No, are you? ", the girl asked.
" Nope...", Sasuke replied walking forward.
With the rest,
" Where's Hirano? ", Saya asked.
" Eh? Isn't he still upstairs? ", Rei replied.
" Is he amazing or stupid? ", Saya asked as she walked forward to find Kohta suited up for battle, earning surprised faces from everyone.
" Uh? what's up? ", Kohta asked innocently.
" You seem to be having fun. ", Saya commented not being able to believe what was happening.
" Hey, this is nothing compared to Uchiha's luggage ", Kohta replied, mentioning what Sasuke is doing.
With Sasuke,
" So, uh, how about you say that again ", Sasuke asked, not able to believe what he heard.
" I need to pee. ", The girl repeated.
" Hold it in? ", Sasuke asked.
" Uhm... I can't ", The girl replied.
"...Do it in me. It's fine...", Sasuke replied, taking a long sigh. As the girl went on to pee, Sasuke's face was drained of all colors in disbelief. While this happened, a female zombie tried to trip Sasuke off. Sasuke regained his position and stomped it on the face.
" Damn...", Sasuke cursed at the zombies. As he searched for a way, the roar of a ride reached his eyes. It was Shizuka driving the Humvee with Rei and Say next to her and Saeko on top of the hood with Kohta in a shooting position. He had put the sniper lens on the shotgun.
" Wow, there's so many of them. ", Shizuka complained.
" You say that like we have the option of running. ", Rei said bracing for impact.
" CHAARRRGEEE ", Saya yelled pointing to the zombies. The Humvee made the zombies fly in the sky on contact. They took a turn near the street where Sasuke is and stopped.
" They're crazy... ", Sasuke said with a smirk.
Saeko jumped down to the road and started to beat up the zombies with her wooden sword.
" Hurry up! Sasuke! ", Rei called out.
" It's not that simple! ", Sasuke replied a step forward.
" Buy us some time, Hirano ", Saya told Kohta to which he started to guts on the zombies with his shotgun.
" Uchiha ", Shizuka called out.
" Sasuke " "Uchiha ", voices called out to him both by Rei and Saya.
" Are they your friends? ", The girl asked.
" Yes, my dear friends. ", Sasuke replied with a proud smirk.
" This is the last ferry that will be crossing the river. Will you be boarding? ", Saeko said in style as she got on the hood.
" Hell yeah! ", Sasuke said as he jumped across the wall to the hood.
" Targets have been secured. ", Kohta told the other.
" Teach...What's the issue? ", Saya asked Shizuka.
" Am I still in a nightmare or did the no of zombies before us increase ", Shizuka asked Saya.
" No, it really did! ", Saya said in shock.
It seems that the sound that they made collectively attracted more zombies here that not even the Humvee can handle running over.
*Heartbeat*
" What do we do? Humvee can't handle that much. ", Kohta told them. The zombies began to climb on the hood. Before they could reach it, Saeko knocked them off
*Heartbeat*
" Fighting them on the ground will be futile. ", She stated.
*Heartbeat*
" Takagi-san! ", Rei called out. Saya's mind froze in this situation. She did not calculate the effect of their escape plan. The no of zombies behind them was not that less. Going back to the Maisonette is stupid.
*Heartbeat*
" Takagi-san! ", Shizuka yelled in fear.
*Heartbeat*
Out of nowhere, a gunshot was heard in front of them. In front of them stood Sasuke with a fucking M134 Minigun. Sasuke fixed it in a stable position on his arm and looked at the zombies one last time.
" Go To Hell! ", Sasuke yelled as he started to open fire on the zombies. As each bullet made an impact, each zombie flew apart. The continuous sound of those bullets kept ringing in their ears.
" Arghhhhhhhh! ", Sasuke yelled out like a madman as he kept on firing. Kohta took care of the zombies in the back. When the sounds of the bullet caps falling stopped, the whole lot of zombies were actual corpses on the ground. Sasuke spits out the sweat dripping to his mouth and walked back, earning the shocked stares of the others.
" Where did you get that? ", Kohta asked him.
" This Humvee is a 2007 model. The US started to Miniguns to Humvees back in 2004. The teacher's friend seemed to have removed it and kept it in a bunker to avoid legal action. I happened to discover it in the bunker and loaded it in hours ago. Just as I thought, it was helpful. ", Sasuke replied like a boss.
" It seems that I have a rival in weapons. ", Kohta stated.
" No time to talk... They're onto us. ", Sasuke said as he got on the hood. Shizuka stomped the throttle a little too hard as they started with a jerk, making Sasuke accidentally push his face into Saeko's breasts, earning a moan from her that only he heard.
' And that was our escape. Granted, all it meant was that one of our hellish days was over. We still had yet to cross the river and meet up with our families. ', Sasuke thought to himself as he watched the sunrise from the horizon, making the city on the other side of the river visible.
