"Hey this is a fantasy world-! I can do what I want-!"

Rimuru sighed and mumbled "Fair enough- just don't drink too much.."

She looked away and said "You're not my dad-!" Rimuru looked over "HEY-! I'M NOT THAT OLD-!"

Kumoko giggled as they neared their location. Immediately she went silent, the sky filled with hues of pink, oranges and dark blues with glittering twilight. The town itself began to get ready for the night, lanterns and lights from below sprang up as the duo got closer.

The young spider stared in awe. It's really been a while since she's seen a town like this- especially from a view above. Vague flashes of viewing of a grand city from below darted through her mind with a bittersweet nostalgia.

And down Rimuru looked at her and asked "Are you ok?" She sighed "Yeah, its just...It's been a while since I've seen a town like this…" She looked aside "I'll be honest, I sort of pictured it a bit different like...even looking at it, I still can't believe that this was possible."

Rimuru's eyes softened and patted her head.

She looked up as he continued "I mean, you did go through hell trying to literally survive...I can't imagine myself going through that just to live you know. I built a town, you survived one of the gruelest isekai lives I've heard- more than Subaru or Tanya-!"

She chuckled "Yeah…"

They drifted closer to town as Rimuru then asked "Wanna go through the serenic route or do you wanna explore-" "YES-!" and into town they go.

Ranga was very worried. He knows how powerful his master is. He knows how genius he can be. He is someone who has chosen him to be by his side. However...he was usually back within an hour or a half. It's been almost an entire day yet there's no sign of him.

But just as the sun started going down, in the distance he saw- "Master-!" he jumped up from his spot as he watched Rimuru zip around town. He waited in anticipation, jumping in place as eventually he landed near him. He watched him couch down to place something down. That's when he made his leap-

"MASTER-!" he yelled as Rimuru then turned around "Wh- RANGA-!" and was promptly tackled down. He began licking him, yipping with joy. Soon after- "MASTER RIMURU-!" Here comes Shion and Shuna, both looking very thankful for their ruler's return. They stopped however- even Ranga stopped to look up…

There standing before them was that spider: the infamous spider that Souei described, pink markings and all. Ranga began growling over the supposed danger as Shion prepared her weapon. Just as the two were about to attack-

Rimuru jumped up and blocked their way "Wait-! Wait-!" They looked at him. "Don't hurt her-! She's a friendly spider-! She didn't know she was causing that trouble.."

They all looked at it, it seemed unmoving as it began nodding its head and then hissing. Shion seemed taken aback, Ranga's fur prickled up. But Rimuru, their great and powerful leader, nodded, as if he understood it-!

Shuna noticed and said "Shion-! Great Rimuru can talk to it-!" "But-!" "Look-!"

She did so as the slime and spider looked at her. "See look-" He smiled as he held up the spider "-She's friendly. Just like every monster here." Shion stared at the monster spider, then back at Rimuru. She sighed and put away her weapon.

'We really need to work on that fear aura' thought Rimuru.

He went over to pet Ranga, as that calmed him down almost immediately.

"Look, she's sort of like the otherworlders… She came from another world and came as a spider-" The spider hiss lowly as Rimuru chuckled a bit "-And, well...She just needs help as much as the next person. She asked me if she could train here to finally be able to talk to us and help out our community."

She looked at him and once again hissed. He whispered something to her that seemed to calm her down.

Shion began to walk up to them as Rimuru looked up. She then grabbed Rimuru as the spider jumped away. She began "GREAT RIMURU-! I'M SO GLAD YOUR OK!" he stared in surprise as she began bawling "I KNEW YOU WERE GOING TO COME BACK-! I'M ASHAMED TO HAVE DOUBTED YOU-!" he began petting her

"I-it's ok Shion, I know you and just about everyone was worried about me-"

She squeezed him tighter "-BUT WE SHOULD HAVE TRUSTED YOU TO COME BACK-! YOU WERE GONE FOR A WHOLE DAY AND-! AND-!" Shuna went over awkwardly to get Shion "I-Its ok Shion, Great Rimuru has forgiven us-" "AAAHH-!" "Come here-" she sobbed away, leaving the 3 alone.

"...Well that just happened." said Kumoko

"Happens more often than you'd think.." said Rimuru.

He then looked at Ranga, who looked equally guilty. Ah. Another to 'pardon.'

Kumoko was in awe. Her eyes darted around to see markets, homes, food stands-! Especially food stands- She went up to one and saw something that caught her eye…"D-Dango-!?" her eyes glimmered. She wanted to try it so badly...But she couldn't just ask, could she?

The vendor at the stand looked over. "Ah...You must be the newest guest Great Rimunu invited, correct?"

She nodded. "Well then, here you go...He told us you may enjoy something like this-" 'When did he have time to do that-?' she thought. That was quickly overlooked as she was given a plate with 3. She held it in her claws as she took one of the dumplings and took the bite. She was frozen.. Rimuru finally managed to reach her, after talking to a few other friends and folks of course.

He looked over and said "There you are- Oh-! You found the dango stand-!" He smiled. "How is it?"

He heard a sniffle as Kumoko turned around, tears falling from her face. "It's...It's delicious-! It tastes almost exactly like home-! Maybe a bit better- No-!" She took a bite on the next one. Her face lit up with nostalgia and satisfaction. She placed the dango on the stand before melting into the sweet flavor. "I never thought I'd ever try it again.." She wiped the tears from her eyes. Rimuru chuckled and said "We may or may not have other snacks-" She immediately jumped to it. "Alright-! Then show me around coward-! I'm going to drain your food supply-!" she said, valiantly before taking her final bite of dango.

Rimuru chuckled and said "Alright-! Then come on then, I'd like to see you try-" he challenged. She gave him a smirk and said "Challenge accepted."

And so they went on their way, Kumoko trying some old favorites of hers; from the crisp, gooey and chewiness of the takoyaki, to the stretchy, sweet, cold and creamy mochi ice cream- She was practically in heaven at this point-! Or a dream she would wake up from only to face the brunt of reality D has for her.

…

...She barely has dominion here anyways-

And the cherry on top of this food run, not being in danger of some ruthless demon lord coming over to kill her and destroy her home-!

"Rimuru-!" They heard a familiar(not familiar. Sorry Kumoko-) voice from the intersection of town. Rimuru looked over and saw a girl with pink pigtails rushing towards them, grinning ear to ear. He stared at the ground breaking beneath her feet. 'Oh Milim, I know you mean well but please, be careful with the infrastructure...'

Kumoko began to look nervous. She used her apparatus to check on- 'Oh no..' Demon Lord Milim...Her stats were over the charts-! She was stronger than every dragon she faced. Combined. And multiplied by 1000. She rivals even the demon lord that nearly killed her. She began to sweat, metaphorically, and thought 'Did...Did I just jinx myself?' She thought, and with it, she began radiating that aura. As soon as she did so, Milim stopped in front of them.

Her eyes widened as she stared at the spider. "Woaaah…" she then picked her up, much to her dismay "A-Ah-! Hey-!" She yelped, but of course that only translated to hissing. "How did you do that-!? What did you do to get that-!? Come oooon-! Tell me-!" 'Damn, she has a really good grip-!' She panicked.

"H-Hey-! Hey-! Milim-! Put her down-!" yelped Rimuru. She said "But-! It looks so weak-! How did it release that aura-!?" "I can help translate-! Just please, put her down…" Milim pouted then did so. She whispered "If you hurt my bestie, I will make you pay-" "Its ok Milim, she's just a friend, calm down" He tried to pat her but she backed off. Kumoko sighed in relief. She was too strong..

"So it's just a really strong spider.." said Milim. She chuckled. "Well then-! Nameless spider-! I guess we'll meet again-!" "-She's staying at the hotel-" "-Eh-!?" "-She doesn't have a place to stay, remember? She just arrived…" He explained. "-But, she isn't going to stay in my room is she?" "Of course not-! Don't worry, we have plenty of room...Unless you want her to-" "-No no, its fine-! I'm fine!" She said chuckling before looking away.

Kumoko looked over and asked "...Is she jealous?" Rimuru looked over and said "Probably because I wasn't here to greet her-" He looked over and asked "So Milim, how...how were things here?" She clasped her hands then pulled him over "Well-! First-! I tried some of your newest foods…" He glanced at Kumoko and motioned her to follow.

Kumoko began to walk along, herselves were all around.

'So that's a demon lord in this world..'

'She's so strong...How did he befriend her-!?'

'I mean, she's ok, she didn't outright kill us'

'But she definitely has no concept of boundaries..'

The three groaned.

'I wonder if we could still get to Arachne in this world…' said Mind

'I'm on it-' smiled Magic 1 'As long as nothing big happens for a while, we should be fine'

Kumoko sighed in relief as she looked at the night sky, the twinkling starlight and cool breeze.. They were nearing the hotel, and she couldn't hold her shock.

"EH-!?"

"And then- ah-!" yelped Milim. "Hey-! I was telling Rimuru about something amazing that happened today-!" she whined. Rimuru looked over and said "No no, I think she's just shocked to see this place.." He explained. "Ohhh…" she then giggled "Of course-! No one builds something as amazing as my bestie-! There's even a hot spring-!"

"This is the hot spring place-!? I thought it was separate-!" She stared. "It sort of is, but the hotel's guests have access to it as well." he smiled. "Do you wanna take a dip?"

She looked over at the hotel and to the hot spring area. "...Yes. Yes I do." she muttered.

Milim went over and nabbed her claw. "Well! Since Rimuru said you're a friend, then you're my friend too-!" "A-Ah-! What-!?" She yelped, dangling. "Yep-! No take-backsies! I, Milim, will take it upon myself to show you the best in this place-!" she looked at Rimuru who shrugged...Looks like he explained it all to her.

"Now come on-! There's so much to show you-!" She rushed in as Kumoko- "AAAAaaAAhh-!" all the way inside.

"..." A thought came to mind. And a worry. That worry began festering until he then rushed in there "Wait for me-!" 'I need to keep an eye on them-!'

Kumoko was staring in a mirror, towel in hand-er... claw. It's been a while since she held a towel. Soft, fluffy...She still couldn't believe she was taken in, given a place to stay, and had all her favorite snacks. If it weren't for the fact she gained a new ability from coming to this world, she would have believed that this was a dream.

Even now, she is still silently pinching herself to see if she is asleep. But the most confirmation she had when it came to being double isekai-ed is-

"Ohhh Spider-!" -That.

Milim picked her new friend up. "Are you ready-!?" At this point, Kumoko had been dragged, picked up, and held- without her permission- by this pink haired demon lord several times. Even if she wanted to, she couldn't get out of her grips. And if she did...This demon lord's power is enough to make her tremble.

She sighed, playing it safe as she reluctantly nodded. On the bright side...Hot Springs!

All her selves were excited to finally take a dip in that warm embrace and finally relax without anyone trying to kill them. Well, almost everyone… She stared at Milim with a bit of fear and animosity. Then Rimuru came out and placed his feet in the spring and sighed. Milim placed Kumoko in the water. She flinched just before being placed gently. She felt the water, it was like a cascade upon her stress. She felt the tranquility, the silence filled with the sounds of the shishi odoshi and running water. Within a brief flash, she remembers being in a hot spring; by herself as far as the memory went. She allowed herself to relax and float in the pool of tranquility, closing her eyes as Milim began submerging herself in the spring.

She sighed with satisfaction as she said "Did you know Rimuru made all this..?"

Rimuru chuckled nervously "Not exactly, I had some help.."

Milim looked over "Yeah but, you came up with this idea..!" She argued.

"Fair enough, but I shouldn't get all the credit for this, it was a communal effort...Souei had a hand in this- AH-!" Milim grabbed his leg and smirked.

Oh no- he immediately turned into his slime form as she caught him midair. Now he was trapped. "Fuahahah-! Gotcha-" She smirked as she brought him to the spring.

He sighed as he said "Yep. You caught me. I yield." She giggled as she placed him down, much to his slight dismay 'Auuugh...Its so nice…' The spell of the hot spring, it beacons him.. '-But I have to make sure they get along-' he looked at the two, Milim was just soaking in the warmth of the spring as Kumoko floated by. She was equally as calm as she drifted into that sweet relaxation. Milim noticed then placed a mini-rimuru on her, the warmth making her smile as she carried on.

Rimuru watched with relief. '...-Alright...Guess I was worried for nothing…' he chuckled to himself.

Kumoko walked out a new spider; her exoskeleton was never glossier than her at this moment. She looked in the mirror once again as she dried herself-

'Man...that hot spring..' she smiled.

'It was so...good… '

'Rimuru really knows how to make a 'hot spring' a hot spring…'

'But we can't let ourself get weaker like this..' warned mind. '..This is still a new world and there could still be more danger…'

'Alright...Rimuru probably has some way we can train, right?'

'Might as well ask'

She sighed as she finished drying and walked out to see Rimuru about to leave. Now...how to approach… Should she A. Walk over, B. Call out to him, or C...

As she took the first step, a thought came to mind… A familiar one. She felt her heart beating faster as she then went upstairs, her heart rate steadily slowing down...crisis averted. It was getting pretty late anyways and he probably has some other stuff to take care of. She could ask about it tomorrow-

She scorned herself internally...that familiar awkwardness has returned. She really hoped that after all this time- after EVERYTHING that had happened to her; stabbed, brutalized, squished, burnt- she could just go up to someone and ask anything. But nope… She was still anxious about asking.

Well, no need mulling over it-! It was already time to go to bed anyway.

Wait-!

A bed! An actual bed-! She was so excited to see her room she almost practically rushed over. When she got to the door, she pulled down the knob and entered.

Kumoko felt the carpet under her legs, saw the soft bed near the window, a drawer for her stuff- if she had any- and a table with what she assumes to be an empty notebook on it. She slowly made her way over and hopped on the bed, it bounced slightly as she picked up a pillow and then promptly hugged it, rolling back and forth. 'Finally-! A bed-! An actual bed-! An actual room-!' she laughed as she placed the pillow down-

Rip…

She looked at the pillow which had just been torn open. She looked at her claws and thought 'Guess I need to be more careful-' then looked back at the pillow then formed an idea. 'Or..-' she smiled as she weaved her own pillow with her own silk, intertwining the feathers with silk and then laying on it with a satisfied sigh. She aimed and fired another silk rope at the light switch- Man Rimuru thought of everything…- and began to drift asleep.

Taboo lvl 10… lvl 11-

'What..?'

It...leveled up beyond capacity?

She was in the middle of an empty field. Well, not quite. She felt weaker in this area and heard fighting in the distance. She looked over and tried to move, but could not.

She saw Rimuru in the midst of a heated one-on-one with someone. She seemed intent on killing him. She watched as he transformed into this creature; a hodgepodge of multiple powerful monsters. He roared with such a voracity, it shook the area. This person dodged his attacks so effortlessly, and then began to cast a spell. Multiple rings formed from above him, trapping him. She was helpless to watch him get disintegrated by a bright light, bit by bit, until there was nothing left.

She awoke in the middle of the night gasping. She held her head as she flinched..

What a headache… and even more with knowing that in this world: she can continue leveling up beyond her world. And if that's the case…

She stared at the new taboo level.

...She could surpass that demon lord.
