(AU KH3) Nozomi living in Bamboo town, one day is sent flying from her world when the Heartless destroy it. Caused by a mysterious mechanical winged individual. She gains a Keyblade and somehow encounters Riku along with King Mickey. From this point on, her true fate will gradually unveil itself as the conflict that started the Keyblade Wars begins again...

291. The Final Battle Part 13

Chapter CCLXXXVII: The Final Battle Part XIII

"Oralee?" Hearing this name, the blonde haired girl was quiet, when-!

BA BUMP!

She felt a strong sense of realisation light up in her heart. That name this girl called her, was it? She asked curious, "Is that, my name?"
A nod was given in response to her question, then she was told, "Yeah, I'm here to help you get out of this thing!"

Puzzled as she stared at the red haired girl, Oralee asked her, "Why though?" Then as she thought to herself quietly, she asked further, "Do you and I...know each other?"

Quiet as this question was posed to her, an answer was given as the pink armoured girl, put her hands against the glass-like walls of the prison, "I think so, I feel like I do..." Then she added, "I want to believe that we do."

Oralee hearing these warm words, felt something move again in her heart. Putting her hands up against the glass too, she asked her, "What's your name?"

"My name's Kairi!" Came the positive response.

"Kairi?" The girl asked her, then as she did so, her eyes widened as within her mind she saw images! This girl, she was someone that she-!

CRACK!

Jumping back in fright, looking up, she saw quickly a huge splintering crack was beginning to form in the prison that held her!

Kairi having moved back from being startled, smiled widely, "This is great! We've already made progress!"

Oralee asked puzzled, "Progress?"
"Yeah!" Kairi smiling then explained, "You remembered me a little bit, didn't you?"

Surprised, Oralee asked her, "How? How do you know that I did that, why-?"
"Because that's the key to freeing you!" Kairi told her, then she added, "Once you remember more, to the point you know me, and most importantly who you are, that's when I can save you!"

"Save me?" Hearing these words, Oralee felt like she'd heard those words somewhere before. But where though? As she thought quietly to herself, she couldn't see the person who said that to her, they were obscured by a terrible dark fog that wouldn't let her see any details about them. This hurt inside terribly, but why? She didn't know... but inside, she wanted to see them again... for that person, they were-!

Worried in seconds, Kairi saw Oralee was in tears as she shivered holding her face in her hands, quickly she asked, "What's wrong? Are you hurting or-?"
Shaking her head, Oralee then explained, "No, not physically but..." Then taking in a deep shuddering breath, she explained, "There's someone...someone that said they'd save me, long ago, they were someone that I-!" However it hurt more, not being to see them, nor remember anymore any details about them, which caused more pain to seize her heart. As it did, she explained further trying desperately to reclaim her calm, "They were someone precious to me, but I can't...I can't remember them at all, I-!"

Quiet listening to this, Kairi stared on at her. She couldn't imagine who this person was, but if their memory was that precious to leave Oralee in tears like this... Determination, burned inside of herself, and she told the poor captive gripping her hands against the pink prison, "Don't worry, you'll remember them, I'm gonna make that happen for you!"
Surprised hearing this, Oralee asked staring at her with her single visible purple eye, "You will?"

Kairi nodded strongly, but even as she did, Oralee worried said, "But, what if you can't! Or if something worse happens in the process, we-!"

SMASH!

Hearing this shocking sound, both girls looked up, quickly Oralee asked, "What's that!?"

GLOW!

In amazement both the girls, saw a purple light, glowing above them both, as they did, Kairi quickly realised smiling brightly, "Sora, he did it! He's saved him!"

Surprised, Oralee asked, "Saved him?"

"Yeah!" Kairi then added, brimming with optimism, "Another Keyblader like me, Sora, he's saved a Vessel just like you, his name's Timbre!"

Amazed, Oralee asked repeating, "Like me, Timbre?" Then as she asked this question, quickly in her mind, she saw a smiling sharp toothed face, with pink hair and an emerald eye patch that covered his left eye.

Then as his image came to her mind, she remembered something else, a long tail behind him that wagged left and right with excitement, as he held her hands together in both his clawed hands. As he did, she remembered him asking, "How about it, Princess, do you want to do that together?"

Her eyes widening, she asked, "Princess, me?" For that couldn't be right, how could she be-!

CRACK!

Quickly again, the prison that held her cracked! She'd recovered some more memory of herself! Amazed as she saw this, Oralee asked, "I did this?"

"That's right, you did!" Kairi told her, then as she saw her look at her perplexed again, she added, "You see, there is hope! Don't get too down in the dumps, okay?"
Surprised as she heard this, it was then Oralee had another flash in her mind, as she remembered another voice,

"C'mon yer highness! Chin up, I'm always right by your side!"

It was then she saw another special shadowed figure in her mind, one that was crowned, a cat, with a cape behind him. Seeing him, she didn't know who he was, but Oralee felt her heart fill with warmth, so much so that her sadness faded greatly. Then finally a smile appeared, upon her face. Though a few tears remained, as she told Kairi, "All right, I'll do my best!"

The pink clad Keyblader just continued to smile, and quietly she waited for Oralee to calm down some more. For soon she would proceed with her endeavour to save her, and help in recovering her memories which would fully restore her existence...

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

"I can't believe it!"

Seeing the glow of the Third Fragment had vanished, and the jewel it had been contained within, had been smashed to pieces... Xehanort saw that he'd lost another of his powers! Angrily despite the pain, he looked to where the Seventh had been flown to, as he did, he whispered enraged,

"I will make sure they pay! This thievery is-!"

CRACK! CRACK!

"Tch!"

Grimacing again, he saw that the jewel beneath the Third was being effected now, he was going to lose the power of the Sixth Fragment soon! Realising this, he gripped his spears tightly, then looking to them he realised,

"These will be of no use now!"

For without the Third to bring them fully back to his grasp, the spears were now useless! As his mind raced, he thought of quickly what he could do next... then a diabolical idea came to his mind. He realised then what his next course of action would be!

GRIP! GRIP!

With that, he held onto his two spears tightly and he did, he called upon the powers of the Second Fragment to reform them and-!

HISS!

His hideous Ouroboros Heartless began to move, as the dark void of magic in the centre of it's circle, began to pulsate with dark power. As it did so, he uttered, beginning the next stage of his attacks,

"Now let's see you deal with this next nightmare...!"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

"Nozomi!"

Smiling happily hearing the King's voice, the female Keyblader was released from Vincent's hold, and she quickly fell back onto Scripitum's warm form, while her rescuer went to re-join with Ruby and the others! As she did, she ran over and cried out, "Guys!"

Making their way over to her, Ody looking over her, asked worriedly, "Are you alright, Nozomi?"

As this question was put to her, the female Keyblader replied, "Well, I'm intact!" But as she winced, feeling the burns and other slices, that had been inflicted on her, she added, "Though I'm not going to lie, I am hurting a bit!"

"Hang on, I'll fix ya!" Mickey cried, then quickly he lifted his hand into the air and cried out, "Curaga!"

SPARKLE!

Quickly in seconds, Nozomi's injuries were healed! Feeling this, she told him, "Thanks your Majesty, that really helps!"

"That's good!" The King replied, then quickly he added, "Hang on, I'll pass over some spare items to ya! So things will be easier for ya next time!" To which he quickly looked through his pockets.

In the meantime, Goofy spoke up and said, "Sorry we weren't able to give ya a hand there, Nozomi!"

"Yeah, sorry..." Donald added sadly.

Surprised by these apologies, Nozomi though waved both of her hands and told them, trying to make the sad atmosphere fly, "It's okay guys, it wasn't your fault, nobody could do anything against the Third Fragment back there!" Then as she turned back to look behind, she added, "I'm just glad that I helped, to give enough time to Sora, so he could rescue Timbre."

Puzzled, Pete asked, "Timbre?"

Nozomi looking to him then answered, "He's the Vessel of the Third Fragment, he could levitate things and defy gravity, he was a member of Balthier's crew, with his sister Jona, that's who Timbre is."

"Really?" Pete asked... then as he recounted his memories, he couldn't remember this Timbre at all, nor Jona, but something about what she said, somehow clicked inside. However as he thought back and remembered some moments he had with Nozomi, he realised, and said getting mad, "And who was it, who said they were going to try hard ,to get back Hari for me, huh?"

Blinking, no-one there understood what he was talking about. However Nozomi looking at him, asked, "Pete, you remember Hari!?"
To which he told her, "I don't have a clear image of 'em, so no...but I do know they were someone special to me!" As his heart hurt, he pushed the pain away not wanting to be a total sap. For more importantly, he remembered one crucial bitter detail, "But I do remember, ya sayin' ya'd try hard, and that ya'd have it done quick in getting' them back!" Then becoming really mad, he told her, "And ya call this quick!?"

Quiet remembering what she'd promised him. Nozomi couldn't help but sweat, feeling bad, and uttered awkwardly, "Uh, sorry?"

Pete was not pleased, and quickly he told her, "Get over here! I'm gonna give ya that clobberin' I promised!"
"Whoa!" With that he started to chase her around Scriptium's back, making it an odd sight to look at. For it was clear, as Nozomi jumped and ran around, there was no way he was gonna get his giant hands on her!

"Uh, ha, ha...what's going on?" Ody asked awkwardly, not understanding the situation.

Mickey then replied feeling much the same, "I dunno Ody, sorry..." But he knew this was not the time for this. So speaking up, he said, "Um, Pete if ya really need to do that, could ya save it for later? I think yer forgttin' that-!"

BLAZE!

Quickly, Nozomi and Pete ceased their running around, and it was then they saw that Xehanort, in the far distance was blazing all over with dark blue flames! They covered his entire form, obstructing him from sight!

Worried, Ody asked, "What's he doing now!?"

Looking on, Mickey though quickly realised and said, "Looks like he's changin' tactics!"

"Tactics?" Nozomi asked him, but she didn't get to saw another word as-!

SHINE!

Quickly Xehanort's new form was revealed! He no longer wore the purple armour before, with the gold linings. Instead, this one was green in colour, and all over the panels of the armour, were decorated evil looking angry pink eyes, that stared about here and everywhere!

Puzzled, Donald asked, "Green? Why green?"

Goofy then thought to himself and replied, "Maybe he's green with envy, cause we're winnin' and he isn't?"

Surprised as he said, Mickey smiled and said, "Well that's one good way to look at it, Goof!"

"Thanks!" He replied happily, but-!

SHATTER! SHATTER!

Quickly the two giant spears that he held in his massive hands quickly shattered into pieces! Everyone was shocked! Why had he done that!? Why-!

GLOW! GLOW!

Then suddenly the two spears shapes were changed, they were no longer the weapons they were. Instead they were turned into four giant glass rings that had razor sharp edges, showing they would be deadly if they made contact! They spun rapidly over Xehanort's extra pair of arms, as he was ready to unleash them, any moment!

Puzzled, Nozomi had never seen discs like that, and asked, "What're those things?"

Looking at them, Mickey was quiet, but quickly he answered as he realised, "Those are Chakrams!"

"Chakrams?" Nozomi repeated curious.

"They're throwing weapons, really deadly if in the wrong hands!" Then holding onto his Keyblade tightly, he added, "Like Axel, when he was still around!"

At this name, Nozomi asked, "Axel?" For she'd never heard that one before.

"We'll take him this time!" Donald decreed!

"Yeah, cause he ain't controllin' that Timbre fella, we won't be thrown back again!" Goofy said in agreement, showing he was ready for a good fight too!

Odyeux then replied, "Yeah, which is a mercy!" However, he couldn't help but add, "But I'm sure it's not gonna be easy for us still! For who knows what he'll-!"

VOOM! VOOM! VOOM! VOOM! VOOM!

VOOM! VOOM! VOOM! VOOM! VOOM!

VOOM! VOOM! VOOM! VOOM! VOOM!

VOOM! VOOM! VOOM! VOOM! VOOM!

Then suddenly from within the centre of the dark Ouroboros ring, more Heartless emerged! However these were not the pure blooded types like before. They resembled bats somehow, they were purple in colour and within each of their middles, in their bellies, were giant ominous neon pink eyes, and along their two pairs of ripped leathery green wings, were huge mouths, with sharp gnashing teeth!

These things were nightmarish to behold! Seeing them all there, Pete gulped, and as he did, it was then everyone heard Xehanort decree,

"Now go forth!"

SCREECH!

Quickly the whole colony started to fly towards them, their hideous eyes fully focused upon them all!

Seeing them all coming, Odyeux acted, "Scriptium move! C'mon!" With that, the huge flaming white dragon Dusk flew on up!

As he did, with them now doing their best to avoid these monstrosities. Pete then cried out, "Of all things ta deal with!" Then looking around, he called out, "Hey! Where'd that batty winged, Vincent get to! He needs to shoot 'em all down, or we'll-!"

"That I can't do in excess like before."

"Huh?" Pete asked, then turning to his right he saw that there flying up beside them, it was none other than their now one other flying ally. Ruby.

But there riding on his back, it was not just Shirma, Aerith, Zidane, along with Lightning and Hope. There was also Vincent, who looked to the overweight villain, quietly back in his original form.

As he did, Pete demanded mad, "What're ya doin'!? Lazyin' about on that bird there! What-!"

"I've reached my limit, it will take considerable time, before I am able to fight at the full capacity within the Chaos form that I was in until this point," Vincent explained.

Pete hearing this, then uttered, "What?"

"He needs a break sadly!" Zidane explained simply, though as he saw the horrible monsters coming for them from behind, he couldn't help but admit, "Though it would be nice to have more firepower on our side!" Then-!

SCREECH!

The new monstrosities were fast approaching their position! As they were, Pete couldn't help but feel a horrible dread inside, wondering if they were the ones this time who were gonna be getting the clobbering!

"Verholy Igniga!"

FLARE! FLARE! FLARE! FLARE! FLARE!

FLARE! FLARE! FLARE! FLARE! FLARE!

FLARE! FLARE! FLARE! FLARE! FLARE!

Quickly burning through all of the terrible thorns that were impeding his way, Riku with determination, aimed his Keyblade and quickly-!

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

He sliced through the remaining sharp shoots that remained, as he did, he looked up and saw that he wasn't too faraway now, the green jewel pod was in sight! As it was, he whispered determined, "Kagi hold on! I'll be with you soon!" Then-!

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

He cut down more, as he got closer and closer. He was determined to rescue another of the Vessels, for he wasn't going to be outshone by Sora, who he knew had already succeeded!

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

"Are you feeling better now?" Kairi enquired.

Taking in another calming breath, Oralee replied, "Yes...yes I believe so," then looking to the pink clad knight, she told her, "I'm sorry, you've come all this way to help me, and I'm just-!"

"Don't worry about it!" She smiled, then giving some reassurance, she told Oralee, "Besides, I know what it's like being kidnapped... it's happened to me twice already."

Oralee surprised asked her, "Twice!?"

Nodding, Kairi laughed awkwardly and replied scratching her cheek, "Yeah I know, pretty embarrassing, huh?"

In disbelief, Oralee had to ask, "Why though?" For she couldn't understand, "Why were you taken like that? What reason would-!"

"Because I'm a princess too," Kairi told her.

Amazed, Oralee asked her, "You are?"

Nodding, Kairi said, "Yeah," however she had to add with a sigh, "But only in title though, because I don't come from any royal bloodlines or anything, at least none that I know of!" Then as she folded her arms, she added, "The only reason I'm given that title, is because I have a heart that's filled with light, with no traces of darkness apparently."

Listening to this information, Oralee putting her hand to her chin asked in thought, "Can such a thing be possible?"

"Well it must be true, otherwise Maleficent and Xemnas wouldn't have been after me in the past!" Though she had to add, "But personally I wish I never had that title... then life might have been easier for me, and my friends."

Quiet listening to this, Oralee gripped her hand and said, "Yes that may have been a possibility, for being a part of royalty is never easy, especially if you're born into it."

This time it was Kairi's turn to be surprised, she asked, "You remember being a princess?"

"I..." Oralee was struggling again and she replied, "I think I have a little recollection of it..." However as her head hurt, she admitted, "But I don't have images, just... the emotions of what I felt at that time."

Hearing this, Kairi asked her, "What were your feelings back then?"

"I... it was..." It hurt, but Oralee concentrated hard, and as she did, she began to remember, "It was stifling."

"Stifling?" Kairi repeated.

Nodding, Oralee explained, "Yes... even though I was lower, in the ladder of hierarchy, I was still expected to keep appearances... to a very extreme extent."

Concerned, Kairi asked her, "How extreme?"

Oralee then replied, "To the point that... I had no freedom at all, I was never allowed to experience the liberties of the outside world."

"No freedom?" Kairi asked her, feeling a shudder at the very idea.

"Yes... I was never allowed to exit the walls of the palace, I was always kept inside... I was never allowed to have any contact with anyone, who was not of royal status like myself, I was even barely able to talk, to any of the knights that surrounded me... except?"

"Except who?" Kairi asked her, gently urging her to continue.

"Except... one? No, two of them, they granted me some respite from the environment, but they were...?" Oralee then focused hard trying to remember them again.

Seeing her struggle, Kairi asked her, "Are you still not getting any images?"

Again, Oralee replied, "No..." Then sadly, she told Kairi, "I'm sorry, I wish, I-!"

"Look, don't apologise!" Kairi told her strongly, then as she became silent, she added gently, "You haven't done anything wrong here, don't push yourself too hard."

However Oralee remembering the urgency of their situation, countered saying, "But if I don't remember soon, then you and your friends will-!"
"Just do it at your own pace!" Kairi told her, then with that she added, "You can only do what you can, with the powers you have available, you can't do everything all at once!"

As she heard those words and saw Kairi smiling at her gently, Oralee felt something light up again in her heart, as she did. She then was granted an image of the past!

"Your highness!"

"Urgh!"

Falling onto the floor within the palace of Alexandra, Oralee was within one of the training chambers. Her magical staff in hand, she looked up to her tutor and Knight, who was training her in the ways of battle, her protector since birth, Beatrix.

A taller woman, dressed in rose-gold coloured armour, which was covered in white engraved lines and a rape cape draped behind her. She had long brown chestnut hair that reached down to her shoulders.

As she stared down at her, with her single visible brown eye, with her other hidden behind a silver coloured eye patch, she heard her say, "How many times do I have to tell you! Don't push yourself beyond what you're capable of! You can't rush this!"

Hurting all over, Oralee though standing up, with some pain argued, "But, I can't just be defenceless... I have to work hard!" For looking to Beatrix, she told her, "Because I'm the reason that you..." Hurting inside, remembering that terrible day when they'd been attacked by the Malboro, along with the assassins that had come for her life, Oralee said, "That you lost your eye... and-!"

"Stop it!"

Shuddering as she heard this shout, Oralee looked down, still feeling terrible. However she then heard her tutor, move herself over to her, as she kneeled down to be at the same level as her, then she said, "What I lost that day, was nothing in comparison, as to what we would have, if you'd lost your life with your parents..."

Oralee pursed her lips though, and said, with her eyes still fixed to the floor, "But Beatrix... you shouldn't have gone that far for me, I'm not even first in line to the throne," then gripping her staff tightly, she added, "There are others that surely would be-!"

"That doesn't matter your highness!" Beatrix told her strongly, then with that she added, "Do you simply believe it was empty duty I performed when I saved you?"

Shaking hearing this, Oralee still kept her eyes glued to the floor. Unable to meet Beatrix's critical eye, for what could she say to her? She was sure she'd only make her more angry, that she'd say the wrong thing. That she'd-!

She then heard Beatrix sigh. It must have been disappointment she was feeling towards a pathetic princess like her. For she was-!

"I can't believe you think of me as so less than that, your highness."

Shocked by these words, Oralee repeated, "Less?"

"That you think of me as nothing but a cretinous pawn, who serves you only for the sake of duty and promotion," Beatrix explained further, with a depressed tone.

Upset, Oralee looked up and immediately said, "There's no way you're that! You're one of the only few people I have left, that I consider family now! You're-!"

Stroke...

Shocked, Oralee then saw that Beatrix was stroking her head now, as she looked down to her gently with warmth!

As she did so, awestruck, the young princess couldn't think of a word to say, when she heard Beatrix say, "And that's how, I exactly feel towards you, you're my charge and family." Then as she continued to stroke her head, she added, "I could never forgive myself, if anything happened to you, you're a precious existence, no matter high or low you are in the struggle for power."

Silent, Oralee couldn't believe it. She remained quiet, as she heard her protector go on to say, "I saw your struggles after your parents perished, I know, how hard you've been trying to live up to their expectations, and that light you are determined to shine with, is inspiring," then as she stood back up, she added, "How could I not grow to love someone like that?"

As she told her, such gentle words, they quickly brought tears to Oralee's eyes, she uttered, "Beatrix, I...!" But it was clear, it was hard for her to manage those emotions. As she couldn't think of what to say next.

So her royal knight and protector looked on quietly and gently smiling, as she waited for her princess to recover...

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

"Beatrix!" Tears in her eyes, Oralee at last remembered one of her dear protectors!

"Beatrix?" Kairi repeated, then quickly she asked, "You remembered someone else?"

"Yes...she! She protected me! She saved me years ago, she looked after me when-!"

CRACK!

Again another huge dent was formed in the prison that held Oralee! Seeing this, Kairi excitedly told her, "Look! See you did it! You made progress again!" Then as the blonde princess looked to her, she told her, adding happily, "You're getting it all back!"

Oralee was amazed, seeing Kairi smiling for her. She couldn't believe that someone else would feel happiness then for her, for something so simple as remembering.

Her heart trembled, she smiled gratefully and said, "Yes, thanks to you, Kairi!" With that placing her hands over where her armoured palms were against the glass again, she added, "I mean it, thank you so much!"

"It's no problem!" The princess of heart said with a smile.

Oralee was so glad to hear that response, however before she could say anything else-!

GLOW!

Her prison began to glow with that eerie pink light, as it did, she realised with fright, "No! It's him again, he's going to-!" But it was too late as-!

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

"Get lost!"

KABOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Unleashing his powerful blasts of magic, Donald was doing his best in making the horrible bat Heartless vanish, back into the darkness! However it was clear, just his powers were not enough, as they still chased after them in huge swarms!

But he was not alone as-!

"Firaga!"

BLAZE!

Another huge group were set ablaze! As they were, Nozomi told him pleased, "Well done your majesty!"

"Thanks!" However, seeing the numbers of the Heartless, were still increasing he told her, "But we can't let up! Keep yer guard up!"

With a strong nod, Nozomi replied, "Will do!" With that she moved her Keyblade and cried out her own attack, "Shining Star Rays!" In seconds, comets of sparkling light, came forth, and immediately eradicated a group of the monsters!

"Nice going!" Ody told her pleased, as he continued to weave Scriptium in and around the air, with Ruby and the others following fast!

"Thanks!" However, as they turned in the air, she couldn't help but wonder, "But, I don't know if we can keep this up for long, cause we-!"

"Take this!"

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

Nozomi then saw to her amazement, Zidane from on high slicing into each and every one of the monsters, while below him-!

BLAST! BLAST! BLAST! BLAST! BLAST!

BLAST! BLAST! BLAST! BLAST! BLAST!

Vincent was doing his best to support him, along with-!

"Freeze!"

SHINE!

Hope and his instructor, Lightning who-!

BLAST! BLAST! BLAST! BLAST! BLAST!

BLAST! BLAST! BLAST! BLAST! BLAST!

Was providing the same support as Vincent, blasting into the Heartless with her specialised gunblade! While Aerith and Shirma were assisting, with what remaining spells they could muster, while Robin was doing his best to fly around, and evade the monsters!

She was so glad for their support, however she was sure everyone was reaching their limit. For who knows, how long it had taken them to just get her out, they must have been all worn out, they'd all need-!

GLOW!

SCREECH!

It was then she turned back around, to her terror and everyone else's. Quickly a huge colony, emerged straight ahead of them, seemingly out of nowhere!

Appalled, Pete cried out, "What're they doin' ahead of us!?" With that as moved, he swiftly punched another monster that came charging in at him! Trying to make it get out of the way!

Mickey was quiet, he didn't know at first either. But quickly he saw something else and-!

SLICE! SLICE!

"Hey!" "Whoa!" " Agh!" "Yikes!"

Quickly their dragon Dusk incurred damage! Making her fall in the air! As she did, worried, Ody cried out, "Scriptium!" Immediately he worked to save her, so they wouldn't fall to the darkness below!

Angered, Mickey saw what had caused this. It was the terrible glass Chakrams that Xehanort had created before, then as they flew beneath them-!

GLOW! GLOW!

They shone with green light, and quickly more of the Heartless emerged from within their centres! Seeing this, he realised, "So he's making them both weapons and portals, huh!?"

"Portals?" Goofy asked, not understanding.

Mickey looking on at the monsters, then looked back to Xehanort himself. It was then he saw within the centre of the horrible centipede Heartless ring, was a Door of Time, then quickly, he saw the huge swarms of Heartless from the Master of Darkness's side was entering it. With shock looking at the same green light that was in the Chakrams, he realised what he'd done, "He's divided the exit of that Door of Time up!?"

Not understanding, Nozomi turned to him, asking after slicing another monster away, "What do you mean, you Majesty!?"

Mickey made the best quick explanation he could, "He's connected that Door to the Chakrams around us, so while they're still around, he can just keep calling Heartless forth, to make them come to our exact point in time, from all directions! Also they're so near the source that-!"

"It's never endin' right?!" Pete summed up.

"Yeah!" Mickey replied, with that he sliced another monster away that came too close!

"Darn it all!" Pete cried out mad, then wiping out another one, he couldn't help but say, "This just keeps gettin' worse and worse!"

"You said it!" Nozomi agreed, then as she kicked another away-!

SCREECH!

Suddenly a huge trio of bat Heartless came! As they did, their haunting pink eyes fixed their gaze straight onto her and-!

GLOW! GLOW! GLOW!

Their irises lit up hauntingly! Making her still into bewildered shock!
Ody, then just barely making Scriptium turn upright again, saw where the female Keyblader was looking! As he did, worried he cried out, "Nozomi! Don't look at them, you'll-!"

GLOW! GLOW! GLOW!

However another few Heartless came straight towards him, and glowed with that same eerie light! Immediately all the heroes there, had their eyes fixed on the monsters that towered over them and in another moment-!

SHINE!

A terrible new power was unleashed upon them all, that kept them frozen in place!

Worried, Kairi cried out, "Oralee no!"

"Kairi!" The princess of Alexandra cried out in turn, but it was too late as-!

SHINE!

"Ah!"

Oralee's power was forcibly used again, and quickly her eye opened widely, shining with it's pink power, then she heard-!

"Why didn't you save me!?"

Puzzled hearing this new male voice, Oralee didn't understand what was happening! Where was she now? What was she-!

"Wairu!"

Hearing this voice, Oralee turned and saw again the dark haired girl! Looking at her now, she felt she recognised her more this time. But what was her name? Was it?

"Nozomi..."

Her heart racing as she heard this name, Oralee asked, "Nozomi?" For it was then quickly, an image emerged, where she was surrounded by tall pillars of stone and giant bells, that tolled powerfully. Seeing this sight, she remembered the first words, the female Keyblader had ever said to her,

"Beautiful! I can't believe it! I'm really meeting a real princess!"

Seeing this image as she held her hands so excitedly in her own, Oralee did know her! She'd been her friend, and had tried to-!

"You never cared for me at all did you?"

Shocked hearing these words, Oralee finally noticed the pained expression on Nozomi's face. Troubled by it, she noticed then, the dark haired girl wasn't looking at her, instead she was gazing at something else. Looking down, she saw a humanoid shape, it looked like the shadowed silhouette of a young man. However disturbingly, she saw that they were dissolving away into dark glass shards!

Horrified seeing this, she didn't understand what was going on! Then she heard, the boy tell Nozomi coldly, "You enjoyed Unlocking me, you were glad to have me out of the way, weren't you!?"

"Unlocked?" Oralee asked. But she didn't have time to ask more as-!

"No! Wairu, that's not true! I never wanted that to happen to you, I-!" Nozomi was trying her best to argue with pain in her voice, but she couldn't say more as-!

"Be quiet!"

Spooked hearing this, Oralee still didn't understand what was happening! She tried to speak up and say, "Why're you-!"

"You traitor, you couldn't even join me in the Interfusing!" Then the boy's voice quivered, just a little as she heard him say further, "We would have been together forever...if you'd just given up!"
"The Interfusing?" As Oralee heard that, she then had another memory return, as she remembered the pain she been hit with, when trying to protect Nozomi, also...when she'd been Unlocked. She'd been held in someone's arms, that person? Were they the one that-!

"Wairu! Please don't say that! I never wanted any of that to happen, I never wanted to abandon you! I just-!" It was then Oralee heard Nozomi begin to break down, as she fell to her knees, she heard her say, "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry!" Her face was in her hands, as she wept tears of anguish.

Shocked seeing this, Oralee moved crying out, "Nozomi!" She wanted to go to her! To save her from this pain! She had to-!

However she was stopped, she couldn't move! Then in terror, she realised that like before. She was now trapped in the body of another monster! Seeing this, she saw that the image of the boy Wairu, before her was being created by the pink light of it's eye. No it was three eyes, for she saw the two other monsters that were on either side of the one she was trapped in! They had surrounded Nozomi, and together they were enforcing the spell, making it stronger, and not letting her gaze leave their hypnotic despair inducing power!

Realising what was happening, Oralee cried out desperately, "Nozomi! Don't be fooled by this! You can't let these things-!"

SCREECH!

There was nothing though, that the poor trapped princess could do, as the Heartless all moved together and-!

CRUNCH! CRUNCH!

Immediately they each bit into each of Nozomi's arms, with their nightmarish teeth wings!

"Agh!"

As Nozomi cried out from the pain, she was unable to fight the power of the bats as the one with Wairu's image, kept her gaze fixed on it. Then the ones who were incurring damage onto her, began to lift her helpless form up!

Seeing this happen, Oralee cried out, "Stop it! What are you going to do?!" Then quickly as the monsters turned with their prey in their clutches, they were heading towards an eerie green portal, that she saw that it would quickly lead to the nightmare that was the Master of Darkness!

Horrified seeing what the fate of her friend would be, Oralee cried out, "No! Nozomi, no! Please wake up! Please!" But there was nothing she could do to help, trapped and powerless as she was within the body of the Heartless!

"And there!"

Cutting through the last remaining thorn, Riku was before the green jewel! As he was, he uttered, "Finally! I'm here!" With that walking forwards, he put his Keyblade away, and approached it.

As he did, he couldn't help but wonder who this Kagi was, he was going to meet? What connection, did he have to them? What-!

"Agh!"

Worried, he ran over and cried out, "Hang on!" It was then, as he made it over to the jewel, that he peered inside it.

It was then he gazed at a person, dressed in a long-sleeved blue turtle necked shirt. With a purple waistcoat and dark blue trousers donned on his legs, with a pair of black shoes that had red cross belts over them.

Seeing them in there, he moved his hand and-!

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

"Hey! Can you hear me!?" To which there seemed to be no response, so desperately he tried again, and cried out, "Hey! C'mon get it together!"

"Urgh...!" It was then, the person inside the jewel pod looked up to him, as they did they were grimacing in pain. But Riku finally saw their long green tied hair and red cap upon their head, as they looked at him with their drowsy pained blue eyes.

Seeing them look at him, he said, "Looks it's alright, I've come to help!" Then he added, trying to be uplifting, "I know it must be horrible for a girl like you to be by themselves, so-!"

"Who're you calling a girl!?" Came the surprisingly angry response to his words.

Perplexed, hearing this, Riku asked, "Wait, huh!?"

Irritated, the person inside, said with a voice that was clearly male, "Don't... call me that! Urgh!" Though it was difficult for him to speak, as he said after a moment of rest, "Just because... I have long hair, and haven't cut it... in a while, doesn't make me-!" But he couldn't finish his sentence, for it hurt too much.

Hearing these words, Riku was quiet. Then he said, "Yeah I know that feeling," with that looking to his too longer locks, he added, "I've needed a haircut in forever too." With that, he apologised finally, and said, "I'm sorry Kagi, for assuming there."

With one eye pained eye closed, the young boy replied, "You should be...!" Then taking in another struggling breath, he added, "Cause I-!" Then he stopped, looking over to Riku, he asked him, "Wait? That word...?"

"Word?" Riku repeated puzzled.

"Kagi? Is it-?" Though quickly he was stopped by the pain again.

Seeing him struggle, Riku told him, "It's your name, that's what it is."

Hearing this confirmation, the boy repeated, "Kagi...Kagi?" Then-!

BA BUMP!

He realised it, that word! It was his name! Then looking to the long white haired boy, that was before his green prison, he asked him, "Who are you? How do you know my name?"
As this question was put to him, the purple armoured young man was quiet. Then Kagi heard him say honestly, "I was told it, by someone who knows you, her name's Nozomi."

"Nozomi?" Kagi repeated, then quickly as he did, he had a flash in his mind!

"Don't cry...it's not!-"

"Kagi!"

"It's not... your fault...and it's...not hers."

Remembering these words, within his memories, Kagi didn't understand. Who was this other person he was talking about, to the dark haired girl Nozomi? Who were they? He didn't know, but this person he was speaking of... they must have been someone-!

Riku looking on then saw that tears were quickly lining Kagi's eyes, as they were, he asked, "Why, why am I crying?" Then as he wiped away at his eyes, he uttered, "This is... so pathetic!"

Riku seeing him struggle like this, was quiet. However he decided to tell him, "You're not pathetic, there's nothing weak about someone crying."

Hearing him say this, Kagi then told him, trying desperately to make this emotion stop, "I don't need your pity here... I'm just looking worse, by the minute!"

"You'd never look any worse than one friend of mine, I can assure you that," Riku told him smiling, but as he thought to himself, he realised, "Actually, make that two, cause Nozomi is a lot messier when she cries."

"You suck... at comforting y'know," Kagi told him. Still grimacing badly, then as he looked to him, he asked, "Just, who are you...anyway?"

The white haired Keyblader told him with a sigh, "Riku," then he had to add, "You're not exactly pleasant yourself are you?"

Kagi was about to say more, when he stopped. Hearing his name, he asked, "Wait? Riku? Are...you?" It was then looking at him, he realised quickly he knew him too! They'd met before in-!

CRACK!

Spooked it was then, Kagi saw the green surface of his jewel prison crack! As it did, he asked, "Wait? Is this?"

"The beginnings of your exit out," Riku explained. Then with that, he told him, "As soon as you fully remember yourself, then I can set you free!" He added, "And the others, who still remained trapped in this dark place."

Hearing this, Kagi asked, "There are...others?" Then quickly he felt it, the pain in his heart was easing! Riku was truly there to help him, then realising this he asked, "Do you think...I can help them too?"

Surprised by him saying this, Riku smiled and then said, "Of course you can!" He also added, "In fact, without you, I'd have no way of saving them!"

Amazed, Kagi never thought he'd hear words like that, especially from someone as strong looking as Riku, so growing determined, he told him, "Okay then, let's work on getting me out..." Then he added jokingly, "So I can help someone...who's useless like you!"

Smiling more, Riku told him, "Alright then!" With that both the young boy and Keyblader worked on getting him out of the prison, so that they could save everyone else who remained trapped within the Interfusing Plane!

"That's it, fall into despair!"

Xehanort whispered sinisterly, as he used the power of the Sixth Fragment and Second, to reveal their deepest pains and regrets, using the Heartless. For with them paralysed by their emotions, they would have no way, to fight him anymore!

Then as he watched as the Seventh was being dragged to one of his portal Chakrams, he couldn't help but admit,

"The power of the Second Fragment, is certainly a great stopgap, you can be used for anything can't you?"

Then inside, he could hear the pathetic voice of the one who held its power, he was shouting at him, yelling for him to leave the Keyblader be. To not take her, for she was-!

"Still loyal to her are you? Even though you've been rejected, you still care for her?"

To which he heard more pathetic shouts, but he didn't care for them and ignored him. Then quickly inside he subjugated him to more punishment for shouting back, as he heard his cries of agony, he told him,

"Your pathetic sentiments won't exist for much longer, for soon with her back you will all-!"

CRACK!

"Agh!"

Again another jewel had been damaged, it was that of the green Eighth Fragment! Feeling this, clenching his teeth, Xehanort uttered,

"Again you-!"

CRACK! CRACK!

The pink jewel was damaged again! Feeling this happen, Xehanort determined said,

"No! I will not relinquish my hold on you!"

Then concentrating his ferocious powers he added,

"None of you will leave me!"

ZZZZAAAAPPPP!

"AAAAGGGGHHHH!"

"Kagi!?" Crying out his name in worry, he saw quickly the green haired young boy, being tortured by Xehanort's wrath! However, he couldn't do anything to stop it! For there was no way to stop the source of this horrible power!

As Kagi's body fell forwards, his hand on the glass, Riku shouted to him, "Kagi hold on! Don't give up!" Then frustrated he added, "You can't!"

Hearing Riku's words, feeling this pain. Kagi inside realised he'd been in a situation like this! It was when-!

"KAGI!"

In his mind's eye, he saw a girl with long brown hair and worried green eyes. Crying out for him! But who was she? He didn't know, but as the pain continued to tear into him, and he saw Riku's helpless form on the other side of the glass, he heard-!

"Lachesis do it now... or I will end his life!"

"La..che-?" As he tried to utter this name, it was then he saw that same girl. Her weapon over a poor dark creature of some kind, then he heard her say in sorrow,

"I'm sorry...!"

SLASH!

"Urgh!" It was then finally at last, that the punishing blows of power had ceased! As he lay on the floor of the prison, he gasped breathing in and out, as more memories flowed back to him.

"Kagi!?" Then he heard Riku again, as he did, he heard-!

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

Banging against the walls of his prison, as he did, he heard the worried white haired young man say, "Get it together! Hang on!"

Wincing as he heard him, he couldn't say any words. But still despite the pain, he'd managed to snatch something back from the darkness. Some more of his memories, he had a name! "La...che...sis!"

Then as Riku stopped and stared at him, hearing this word, it was then-!

CRACK!

His prison again incurred damage! Seeing this, it filled the green haired young man with determination! For even if he experienced pain, there was still something he could fight to get back! Clenching his fist, he knew he wasn't going to let his captor keep him in that green cage!

CRACK!

"Agh!"

Seeing that his punishment had backfired, Xehanort couldn't believe it! For if he couldn't control them with pain, then what could he-!

SCREECH!

Hearing the calls of the Heartless though, he knew he couldn't dwell on it! For he just had to hurry, as soon as the Seventh was back in his possession, it would all fall back into place for him! Then as he saw her getting closer to his green portal, he uttered,

"Soon! Soon you will be mine again!"

With that he waited for the inevitable to play out!

GLOW!

Goofy staring on up at the odd pink eyed Heartless, as they kept their power concentrated on him. He was puzzled, then tilting his head to the side, he couldn't help but say, "I don't get it?" For this light show wasn't doing anything for him.

Turning his head, he decided to ask his pals, "Hey fella's? What do you think these here-!"
Then quickly the shield wielding knight, saw that the rest of his allies were all transfixed. All of them, standing still as statues, unable to move away from the haunting pink glow of the hypnotising power, the Heartless cast.

Panicked, Goofy cried out, "Fella's!?" However they didn't respond! Then-!

SCREECH!

Looking, he saw that Nozomi was being carried away forwards by the horrible monsters! She was going to be dropped into one of the green portals that the glass Chakrams held!

Realising what was happening, he cried out, "Oh no ya don't!" With that he charged forwards, then igniting his own defensive power, he cried out, "Tornado!" With that he launched himself into the air and-!

SPIN! SPIN! SPIN! SPIN! SPIN!

He spun rapidly into the air, like a human helicopter, and making it fast to where Nozomi was! His fast spinning quickly hit the Heartless and-!

BASH! BASH! BASH! BASH! BASH!

He fast movement immediately made the Heartless release their hold on the female Keyblader and-!

"Agh!"

She plummeted! Seeing her fall, Goofy cried out, "Nozomi!?" But unfortunately, despite his bravery, there was one thing the noble knight couldn't escape. And that was the law of gravity, which-!

"Ah! Ho! Ho! Ho! Hoi!"

He began to fall down with her! As they quickly descended towards the darkness together!

"Agh!"

Recovering just barely from the terrible damage that Xehanort had given to her true body, Oralee wincing, then felt the body she was in be forced back! As it was, she looked down, and saw in terror both Nozomi and the odd tall doggy man, fall with her!
As she did, she cried out worried, "Oh no!?" Then sadly to further her distress-!

SCREECH!

The bat Heartless went to chase after them both, as they flew down!

"Urgh!" Disorientated, Nozomi couldn't understand what was happening. What was she-!

"Hey, there! Nozomi!"

"Huh?" Puzzled, hearing this voice, she opened her eyes and saw an odd sight, there she saw flailing about, above her, was the panicked body of, "Goofy?"

To which she heard the shield wielding knight tell her, "Quick! Call out your feet wingies! Otherwise we-!"

Puzzled, she asked, "Wingies?" For what was going on, why were they-!

SLITHER! SLITHER! SLITHER! SLITHER! SLITHER!

SLITHER! SLITHER! SLITHER! SLITHER! SLITHER!

SLITHER! SLITHER! SLITHER! SLITHER! SLITHER!

SLITHER! SLITHER! SLITHER! SLITHER! SLITHER!

Then her mind quickly snapped to alert, hearing these familiar and unwelcome sounds, she looked below. There she saw the countless horrible long tendril, hands of the Heartless, coming up to drag them into the depths below!

"AAAGGGHHH!"

SHINE!

Quickly, her wings came forth! As they did, she used them, and quickly began to climb up the orbs, and as she did, she saw the Shield wielder coming her way! As she did, she cried out, "Goofy!" With that she moved her hand and-!

GRAB!

"Whoa!"

Immediately she got hold of him! Then quickly, the two of them began to ascend into the air! As they did, he told her pleased, "Thanks for the save there!"

Hearing him, Nozomi cried out pleased, "That's what should I be saying to you!" For she remembered what the bats did, as she did she told him as they climbed higher and higher, "Thanks for breaking me out of that state!"

To which he chuckled happily glad. But before they could celebrate more-!

SCREECH!

The three bigger bat Heartless that had tried to snatch her away, quickly came to try and get her again! As they did, she said, "Here we go again!" Then looking to Goofy, she told him, "Let's show 'em who's boss, huh?"
"Yeah let's!" He agreed with her! Then quickly the two of them combined their powers together and-!

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Oralee within the body of the bat Heartless, saw Nozomi and Goofy holding their hands together, with their weapons before them and quickly the two of them began to spin around together. As they did, they became a twister of light that immediately sped straight at her, then together, they cried out their newly formed technique,

"Spinning Twister of Light!"

SHINE!

With that the two of them struck straight into the Heartless, and their bodies couldn't withstand the power of them together! Quickly, Oralee felt the body she was in was fading away, but as it was, she heard as the two of them headed back on high to re-join their friends,

"Goofy! You were amazing there, thank you!"

"Aw shucks! It weren't nothin'! But it just shows what the combined powers of two can do!"

As Oralee heard these words, she repeated, "Combined powers?" For this resonated in her heart, for it was something she realised she wanted too. She wanted-!

"Agh!"

Feeling herself return to her aching body once more, Oralee got up and looking down to her hands asked, "I'm back again, I'm-!"

"Oralee?! Oralee?!"

Hearing her panicked cries, the blonde haired girl turned. There she saw looking to her anxiously, was Kairi. Seeing her there, she heard the red haired girl ask, "Are you okay, are you hurting!?"
Quiet as she heard the worry in her voice, Oralee then reassured Kairi and told her, "I'm alright, I'm okay now, thank you..." then looking down to her hands, she said, "I was dragged away from here, I was forced to watch outside, the battle that's occurring with my power."

"Forced outside?" Kairi asked, then quickly worried she needed to know, "What do you mean? Is everyone alright!? Are they-?"

"They're fine now," then looking down, she added, "It looked precarious at one stage, but thankfully, it looks like Nozomi's going to be alright, and the others too."

Hearing this, the pink clad knight, uttered with her hand to her heart, "Oh, thank goodness!" But then she realised, "Wait? You said Nozomi! You remember her now?"

Oralee nodded, "Yes I do!" Then with a small smile, she revealed, "Though it was terrible to witness that battle, it helped me to recollect a little bit..." then putting her hand to her own heart, she revealed, "Watching Nozomi, with her allies... it reminded me of something I've always wanted."
"Something you've wanted?" Kairi asked her.

"Yes," to which looking to her rescuer, she revealed, "The person I want to remember the most, they were someone I wanted to support... to be a helping hand to them, since they helped save me so long ago, when I was younger."

"They saved you?" Kairi asked her.

"That's correct, I nearly perished, but thanks to them and Beatrix, I survived..." Then she added, as she remembered the mysterious crowned cat, "And they gifted me a dear friend and companion, who helped ease my loneliness tremendously, they helped in healing my broken heart, when I lost my parents that day... they gave me so much happiness that I..."

Seeing the warmth in her eyes, as Oralee held her hands over her heart. Kairi was quiet, but then she smiled and said, "They're truly an important person to you, aren't they?"

Oralee nodded again and said, "Yes..." however she had to reveal sadly, "But because of my status as royalty, with not so strong as a fighting ability... I was never able to be as helpful as I wanted to be, I wanted to be there for both of them, both Bearix and..." However again, she couldn't remember their name.

Seeing the pain she was in, Kairi replied, "Yeah, I understand that too..." then gripping her hand against the glass, she added, "I know that all too well," For she revealed, "Because despite everything that happened in the past, both Sora and Riku always came to save me... and it hurt, that I could never return the favour, cause I lacked the strength!" Then she said sadly, "It really sucks to be a princess in reality, doesn't it?"

"Yes it does...!" Oralee laughed, then quickly she remembered, "Wait? Didn't we have a conversation like this?"

Surprised that she said this, Kairi asked, "We did?" Then as she searched her own memories... she realised and said, "Yeah, actually you're right we did!" Then thinking of where it happened, she added, "I remember now, it was back in the Radiant Gardens!"

Hearing these words, Oralee asked, "The Radiant Gardens?"

"Yeah, you were working as a maid I remember," then as Kairi crossed her arms in thought, she added, "Then, later into the night, I happened to bump into you, you were on your way to get ready for the parade, with Serah!"

"Serah?" Hearing this name, Oralee felt warmth in her heart again. She recognised that person too! Quickly as she remembered her long pink hair tied to the right side, she said, "That's right, she and I worked together, we became friends and..." thinking of her, she whispered, "She was the one person, that helped me to live properly in the normal world..."

Hearing the happiness in her voice, Kairi was pleased she'd helped her remember another person. Then she revealed, "I could see the closeness of you two, it was really sweet!" And as she remembered this, she said, "Oh yeah, I remember now who was your companion was, you were talking about!"

Amazed, Oralee asked, "You do!?"

Nodding, Kairi then told her, "His name was Cait sith!"

"Cait sith?" Oralee asked, feeling her heart race.

"Yeah, he was a small cat that you could hold in your arms! He was black and white in colour, with a red cape and golden crown on his head!" Kairi smiled and said, "You could tell he was designed for royalty!"

Thinking of his image in her head, Oralee intrigued more with each descriptive word she heard, then asked wanting to know more, "What was he like?"

"Well from what I can remember, blunt! Kinda grouchy too, but he had a warm heart I could tell!" Then as Kairi recounted some stories that Nozomi had told her about him, when they hung out, she added, "And I was told that he was always there to keep things straight to the point, he helped to lead everyone when they became too depressed or unsure of themselves... I guess he just never wanted everyone to give up, no matter what."

"No matter what?" Oralee repeated, then as she said these words, thanks to Kairi's encouragement, it was then she finally remembered that night and was gifted the key that would grant her wish!

"Finally yer highness!"

As Oralee closed the door to the cafe behind herself, dressed back in her normal attire, her feline companion sat upon her right shoulder. As he did, she listened to him continue, "They pushed ya way too hard! You shouldn't let them boss ya around so much like that!"

Listening to him, she was quiet. But then she giggled, as she heard his complaints.

"Hey? What's got ya chucklin'?" The crowned cat asked.

"Because you never change! You're always like this, I remember you used to say similar things, whenever I trained with Beatrix too!"
Cait sith hearing this, then folded his arms and told her, "Well of course I would be! Ya only deserve the best! I don't like it when yer pushed too hard." Then he added looking to her, "Cause after all, ya had enough stress ta deal with back in Alexandra, what with them creeps always judgin' ya! Makin' ya feel small, just cause yer weren't too high up the chain!"

Remembering this, Oralee then couldn't help but feel bad, as she remembered the many critical gazes of the courtiers, along with certain members of her remaining family. For even though, they were of the same blood, it didn't bring any form of closeness with it...

Thinking of their eyes, and what she read of their thoughts with the power of the Fragment that dwelled in her, she admitted, "Yes, it was a very tough lifestyle..."

Cait sith was then quiet, as he heard her say this. It was clear he didn't know what to say, so the two of them remained silent as they walked forwards together, when-!

"Hi there!"

Surprised, Oralee turned around, and there she saw approaching them, it was none other than, "Kairi?"

Cait sith staring at their unexpected companion asked, "What're ya doin' this way lass?"

"Uh, kinda cliché but..." she twiddled her thumbs admitting, "I got separated from the others, and I got lost, so...yeah? Kairi admitted, looking awkward. Oralee hearing this, simply smiled, and as they walked on in silence together, as she led the way for them, she then heard her ask, "You done with work for the day?"

Oralee forgetting her sadness, then smiled and said, "Yes, I'm on my way now to go and meet Serah, we're going to be on a float together, for the parade that's next coming up."

Amazed, Kairi asked her, "You're going to be on a float?"

She nodded and replied, "Yes, I'm going to be performing a songstress piece with her, to bring some magic and dazzle to the event!"

"A songstress?" Kairi asked her.

"I know it's not a role that one hears of too much, but it's a magic user, who uses the power of song, to strengthen and inspire, they usually work as support to a team of warriors, but they can also be used for entertainment," to which she pointed to herself, and finished saying with a smile, "That's the role both Serah and I enjoy performing."

"Wow!" Kairi uttered in awe, then she said brightly, "That sounds likes so much fun!" Then she had to add, "If I had better vocal range, I might give it a try too!"

"That would be a delight!" Oralee smiled.

"But ya'd never be able to outdo me highness!" Cait sith said speaking up.

"Uh?" Feeling awkward, Kairi then replied, "...Sure, whatever you say."
"Cait sith!" Annoyed as she looked to him, Oralee then apologised and said to Kairi, "I'm sorry, you must excuse him, he tends to give praise when I don't always deserve it."

"What ya talkin' about yer highness! Yer the best of em all! Yer-!"

To which Oralee looked to him with bitter irritation, which quickly made him stop in seconds. As she did, she finished saying with a sigh, "You see what I mean?"

Blinking, Kairi then laughed, "Yeah I do!" However she couldn't help but say, "Though personally, I wish I could do more."

Puzzled, hearing this, Oralee asked, "What do you mean by that Kairi?"

"Well... after hearing everything that Riku got up to with Nozomi, along with Sora and his adventures to find them..." She had to admit sadly, "I haven't really been able to do really too much of anything for anyone."

"You find that upsetting?" Oralee asked.

"Yeah, well how can I not?" Kairi replied. For then she explained, "Riku and Sora have been through so much, just in trying to fight the Heartless, and also trying to save me at times, that...it's frustrating, just being left on the sidelines, just because I'm a Princess."

Surprised to hear this, Oralee asked her, "You're a princess?"

"Yep," though she couldn't help but add as she pointed to herself, "Though I don't really look the part do I?"

Hearing her say this, and seeing her smile, Oralee replied, "Well I'm not dressed formally either, so you and I are in the same boat!"

"I guess," However Kairi then added as she looked up to the starry sky, "But at least you can sing, you help here in the town with the ARCS, and all I've been able to do is just stay at home, trying to catch up on magic practise..." Then she couldn't help but finish, saying with a sigh, "I've been no help at all."
Hearing her say this sadly, Oralee was quiet. Then as she looked down to the floor, she admitted, "Well to be honest, I was in the same place as you were not too long ago."

"Huh?" Hearing her utter this in surprised, Oralee heard Kairi say, "Really?"

Nodding, the blonde haired girl said, "Back when I was in the palace of Alexandra, my protectors Beatrix and Reeve, they did nearly everything for me." Then thinking of what had happened in the past, she added, "They fought the worst foes and monsters, both in a bid to keep me safe... no matter the cost." To which she finished placing her hand, over her right covered side of her face, thinking of what Beatrix had lost in trying to protect her.

"Wow...sounds really heavy," Kairi replied.

"It was certainly that, but the two of them made life so much more joyful for me," for then she remembered with a smile, "For though Beatrix was strict, she taught me so kindly, trying to help me sharpen my skills in magic, so I might be able to assist them both more in the future."

"I see," Kairi replied with a smile. Then thinking of the other name she mentioned, she asked, "And what did Reeve do for you?"

"He..." then blushing as she thought of him, Oralee admitted with a smile, "He had amazing magical abilities, it was an incredible feat whenever I saw him in battle, he had the ability to repel anything that came at him!"
"Really?" Kairi asked with fascination.

"Yes, because I remember clearly when I was younger, when he was deemed worthy to be another protector to me, was when he was able to defeat a giant Zolom serpent... all with only a sword, and shield magic! It was amazing to witness..." Then realising that she was getting off topic, she shook her head and said, "Well anyway, he was just incredible as Beatrix is to me and..."

"And?" Kairi asked, keenly interested to know more.

"Well I just found him inspiring, for even though he was a commoner, with seemingly no chance of making it to knighthood, he didn't give up," Oralee explained, then looking to the skies herself, she continued, "He kept going, no matter what... he wanted to protect people, to not let them fall to tragedy, like his family did, and nearly myself..."

"Whoa! Those two do sound impressive!" Then Kairi couldn't help but say, "That Reeve must be quite a powerhouse, with the way you described him!"

"He weren't that!" Cait sith chimed in.

"Huh?" Kairi surprised hadn't expected this, and clearly neither did Oralee.

However Cait sith continued on to say, "That idiot can't do squat! Honestly, he only got lucky throughout the whole process of being knighted, he wouldn't even return a punch, and just smiled like a moron laid flat on the floor, when anyone hit him outside of combat," he finished adding, "He was a total wimp!"

Annoyed, Oralee cried out, "Cait sith!" To which again, the crowned cat simply looked away. Again the princess of Alexandra sighed, then she admitted, "But even if that is true... honestly, to me not falling to aggression like that, it was refreshing to see," Then thinking of dreadful incidents that had happened in her past, Oralee added,"Since quite a few of the knights, were ready to fight at the drop of a hat, over the smallest slip, the fact he wasn't like that, made me feel at ease."

"At ease, huh?" Kairi asked with a small smile.

"Yes, he was so kind and patient, he was never angry, and gently encouraged me with Beatrix, and because of the both them working so hard for me, I wanted to return the favour... I wanted to be strong like the both of them, so I might be able to encourage and help them properly, with my own strength one day."

"Oralee..." Kairi echoed gently hearing her warm wishful words.

Smiling sadly, the princess of Alexandra though had to reveal, "But with the palace gone, and with them both lost to the darkness... I'll never be able to achieve that dream."

Kairi moved and then declared, "That's not true!" Then-!

HOLD!

"Huh!?"

"Hey!"

Surprised, Oralee saw that Kairi had taken hold of both her hands! As she did, she heard the red haired girl say to her impassioned, "You can still achieve that! Even if they're not here, that doesn't mean you can't work to become stronger than you are, because I'm sure..." With that said, Oralee felt Kairi's hands tense around her own, as they did, she heard her add, "I'm sure they'd want that for you still! They'd want you to continue to shine, no matter what way you can!"

Amazed, Oralee uttered gently, "Kairi..." then as she heard say this, the blonde princess said, "You know he said something like that to me too."

This time it was Kairi's turn to be surprised, as she asked, "Really?"

Oralee nodded and said, "Yeah he did..." however she decided to reveal, "Though, why don't we correct it a little bit?"

Puzzled, Kairi asked, "Correct it?"

"Yes," Oralee smiled. With that she explained, "Why don't we together as princess's work together, to become stronger, so we both can protect those who mean so much to us?"

Quiet, Kairi hearing this then couldn't help but smile. Quickly with a nod she replied, "Yeah let's do that! It'd be great to get stronger with someone who's similar to me!"

Smiling, Oralee replied, "Okay, then! Let's do that together when we have more time!"

"Okay!" Kairi smiled.

However Cait sith had, had about enough and said, "Whatever! Just get off!" With that he moved and waving Kairi off his princess, he told her mad, "Even if ya are royalty, ya don't just go touchin' me highness like that!"

"Whoa, sorry!" Kairi pouted with annoyance at him.

Oralee herself, then said upset, "Cait sith!"

However the crowned cat wasn't finished, as he told them both, "Anyway, if you two are gonna get stronger together, you're not gonna do it on your own!"

Surprised, Kairi uttered, "Huh?"

"Ya're gonna need a good coach!" With that pointing to himself, he added, "Cause I'm the best there is! I'll make sure that ya both shine the brightest of 'em all!" With that he added, rubbing his nose, "Cause there ain't no other cat like me, that knows how to teach royalty!"

Rolling her eyes though, Kairi simply replied, "Oh, sure!"

Oralee laughed awkwardly, however knowing he meant well. She said, "Okay, well thank you, Cait sith." Then she added looking to her fellow princess, "And thank you, Kairi!" Then offering her hand, she finished saying, "Let's get stronger together shall we?"

"Yeah let's!" The red haired girl agreed. With that she shook it, and this time, Cait sith had no complaints!

Then with that they were on their way, and as they walked together, they decided the first encouraging thing they could do, was in helping one particular Keyblader help confess her feelings, to a certain special someone...

As her memory finally returned to her, Oralee gasped and said, "Yes, I remember now, Cait sith! Reeve and Beatrix, all of them were the lights in my life!" Then holding her hand, over her trembling heart, she added, "They were the ones I wanted to shine with the most!"

CRACK!

Seeing her hold herself like this, Kairi was quiet... she uttered gently, "Oralee..." Then-!

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!

Her prison now couldn't resist the princess's will! Then-!

SMASH!

"Ah!"

"Whoa!?"

It was then both princess's saw within the surface of the pink pod, was the one thing that would finally grant freedom to one of them. A Keyhole!

"That is-?"

"We finally got it!" Kairi cried out.

"Got it?" Oralee repeated.

Nodding, Kairi then explained, "Your way out Oralee! I can set you free now!"

Smiling with delight, the blonde princess asked, "You can!?"

"Yeah!" Though becoming saddened, Kairi quickly remembered and said, "But, I forgot to tell you, that you'll-!

GLOW!

Unfortunately again, Xehanort was trying to enact the power of the Sixth Fragment, he was attempting to use Oralee again. Terrified the princess of Alexandra cried out, "No!"

Seeing this, Kairi realised, "Darn there's no time!" With that she brought her hand forth and-!

FLASH!

Her Keyblade came, and quickly she aimed it, and its power was activated!

SHINE!

The Unlocking light entered the Keyhole, and quickly-!

SMASH!

Oralee saw with amazement, the pod around her began to break into pieces! As it did, she smiled, but looking to Kairi, she heard her say to her sadly, "I'm sorry...!" However she had no time to question, nor say more, as her body was quickly absorbed into the Sixth Fragment, and the two of them became one once more...

"HHHAAA!"

Quickly moving, Nozomi destroyed another of the bat Heartless again! As she finished, she heard, "Well done there, keep up the good work!"

"Will do, Ody!" She smiled to him brightly, for thankfully, because of both Goofy and herself, they'd been able to free the others from the hypnosis that the bat Heartless had unleashed on their allies!

As they all continued to fight together, determined not to be controlled like that again. Pete punching another Heartless away, couldn't help but ask, "How the heck did ya not get brain fried, Goofy!?"

Hearing this as he finished another swing of his shield, "Why didn't they get me?" He asked.

"Yes! What did ya do!?" Pete said mad, getting rid of another monster!

"Hmmm..." Goofy was quiet, as he tried to think of why. Then honestly he said, "I just couldn't see too clear, what them batty's were tryin' ta show me! I didn't get it at all!"

"Huh!?" Pete cried out dumbstruck.

Laughing awkwardly, Mickey said, "Why don't we think of as a lucky quirk!" For he couldn't help but add, "In fact, if Goofy had fallen for these bats, I dread to think of what might have become of us!"

"You said it!" Donald cried out, zapping away another Heartless.

"Sounds good to me!" Goofy replied happily, with that everyone continued fighting!

However Pete annoyed, simply decided, "I reckon yer just too dumb for yer own good to fall for any mind tricks!" With that he carried on punching!

SLASH!

Then as Nozomi finished another clean slice, it was then they all heard-!

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!

Another sound of splintering, before-!

SMASH!

"AAAAGGGGHHHH!"

It was then they turned and saw with amazement, that the pink jewel upon Xehanort's armour smashed into pieces! As it did, everyone with delight realised one thing, "She did it! Kairi did it! She's won too!" Nozomi cried out happily! As she did, she added pumping her fist into the air, "Yes!"

"WOO HOO!"

As everyone celebrated though, it was short lived as they heard-!

"DON'T YOU ALL MOCK ME!"

SCREECH! SCREECH! SCREECH! SCREECH! SCREECH!

SCREECH! SCREECH! SCREECH! SCREECH! SCREECH!

SCREECH! SCREECH! SCREECH! SCREECH! SCREECH!

SCREECH! SCREECH! SCREECH! SCREECH! SCREECH!

They all saw an enormous colony of the nightmarish bat Heartless! All of them forming one massive pulsating shadow, that gazed at them with countless enraged yellow eyes! All of them ready to tear them all to shreds! None of them had anywhere else to go!

Mickey cried out, "Fella's let's-!"

SWOOP! SWOOP! SWOOP! SWOOP! SWOOP!

SWOOP! SWOOP! SWOOP! SWOOP! SWOOP!

SWOOP! SWOOP! SWOOP! SWOOP! SWOOP!

SWOOP! SWOOP! SWOOP! SWOOP! SWOOP!

But it was too late as the Heartless dove down and they were all quickly being overwhelmed by the cloud, as it blocked off what light was there in that dark space!

Her hands before her, were now holding the delicate and powerful warm pink treasure in her hands. Kairi was quiet, however she was feeling horrible that she'd lost Oralee. For though she knew this would happen, it didn't stop it from hurting her deep down.

Bringing the Fragment close to her chest, she told it, "Here Oralee... I'll keep you safe inside me... and again, I'm so sorry!" With that she felt it move and enter her, then quickly it made its way into her heart! As it did, her eyes widened as she gasped feeling its radiance and quickly she saw-!

"Honestly, that Beatrix! Makin' ya cry like that!"

Holding Cait sith in her arms, as the two of them walked through the corridors of the Alexandra Palace, Oralee smiled awkwardly as she heard the crowned cat continue on with his complaints, "It's criminal! I would have scratched her eyes out for that if I could!"

Laughing Oralee told him, "I would rather that you didn't do that, Cait sith... you know she means well, don't you?"

Still angry though, Cait sith said, "Doesn't mean she has the right to leave ya in tears though!"

Sighing, Oralee though knew there was no use in persuading her friend. So the two of them continued walking on their way to get to their next destination. However as they passed one particular room, she heard-!

"HHHAAA!"

Surprised, Oralee stopped and asked, "That's-!?" With that she quickly moved, making it to the corner of the doorway, then she peaked inside of it.

As she did, it was then she saw it was her other treasured Knight. Reeve, dressed in his white and black training attire. He was swinging his sword and quickly-!

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

He was striking into thetraining dummy that was before him! As he moved, Oralee couldn't help but gaze on with amazement, as he struck the dummy so quickly and precisely, it was amazing and-!

"Oh!"

It was then Reeve stopped, as he took a deep breath in. As he did so, he turned and quickly-!

"Ah!" Oralee hid herself away, as she did, her heart thundered in her chest. What she was doing!? This was stupid, she was-!

"Your highness? Are you alright there?"

Seeing that she'd been spotted, the blonde haired girl was quiet. However there was no point of continuing to act this way, so gulping, she replied entering the room finally, "Yes..." then as she made it closer to him, standing a little ways from him, she told him, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to disturb your practise, I..."

"Ha, ha," Hearing this warm laughter, Oralee looked to Reeve. As she did, she heard him then tell her, "It's quite alright, I'm near to finishing anyway," to which wiping a bead of sweat away from his forehead, he told her, "I should only be here for maybe an hour or more so."

"Really?" She asked him.

Reeve then nodded, and said, "Yes," but he had to admit, "Though I know Beatrix is going to be running me through some drills soon, I just hope I've improved enough, in my footwork to keep up with her."

"I can imagine it'll be tough," Oralee replied. Then she admitted, "In fact she was training with me just a while ago too."

"Was she?" Reeve asked.
Oralee nodded her confirmation. Then she had to admit sadly, "Though I wasn't able to keep up with her," sighing she added, "I mean, I can only use magic really, I'm no good with a sword like you two are, but I-!"
"You wish you could do more?" Reeve asked her.

"Yes," Oralee admitted. Then hugging Cait sith closer to herself, looking down, she continued to say, "I keep trying to, but I just can't seem to get any further in my training, Beatrix told me not to force myself, but... it's so frustrating! I want to help you both so much, so you don't-!"

"You're so kind, your highness," Reeve told her.

Hearing him say this so gently, Oralee looked back up to him. As she did, she saw him smiling with warmth, as he did, she heard him continue on to say, "You work so hard for the well being of others, don't you?"

"Well of course," Oralee replied. Then as she did, she stated sadly, "I mean, I am a princess, that's what's expected of me, if I don't act the role I was born to then... what good am I to anyone?"

"I don't think you should feel that way," Reeve told her.

"Huh?" Surprised, looking at her knight, she remained quiet.

Then she heard him say, "You will shine your highness, I can assure you of that...not because you're a princess, but because you're yourself." With those words, he turned away from her and walked towards the wide window, as he stood in its light, looking outside, he continued on to say, "And please don't look down on yourself, for some stars take a little longer to brighten than others, but I find those who take longer, they sometimes outshine those for far longer than all the rest."

Startled that he compared her to a star, Oralee asked him, "You really believe that?"

"I do!" He told her, then as he looked towards her again, he said, "For after all, though it took a long time for myself to be recognised with my skills, I now stand as one of the best knights in the kingdom, along with Beatrix herself and have even made friends with those who were once adversaries," then he finished smiling brightly, "And I can assure you, you will shine as one of the greatest someday, for like Beatrix, the light you carry inside, is truly inspiring your highness, that you remain so positive despite the tragedies that have come your way, it is truly wonderful to see."
Feeling her heart race hearing this, Oralee blushed. Then looking down, holding Cait sith closer to herself again, she told him, "Reeve, thank you..." With that smiling brightly as she looked back up to him, she added, "I'll keep trying my best from now on! I know I'll get there in the end, with you all by my side! I'll shine for everyone!"

Reeve chuckled and told her, "I'm glad I've been able to restore that optimism you hold!"

"Though you still sounded corny there!" Cait sith told him, with that he added him, "Honestly, could you be more cliché there!"

"Cait sith!" Oralee said mad.

Reeve only laughed again, then before more words could be exchanged between them-!

DING! DONG! DING! DONG!

"Oh the bell's are ringing!" Hearing those words, Oralee heard Reeve tell her further, "It looks like you'll need to go to your next lesson."

"Yes," Oralee said sadly, however not wanting to lose the happiness he'd gifted her, she told him, "Well, I'll see you again Reeve!" With that she went to leave the room, then before fully going, she told him, "I'll look forward to our next training session with Beatrix together!"

"As do I!" He told her, with that Oralee was on her way!

As she smiled on her way, Cait sith told her, "Honestly yer highness, I'm all ya need ya know!"

To which hearing him, she said smiling, "I know," then holding him before her, she told him, "I know you'll always be my biggest supporter Cait sith, thank you!" She told him.

"Yer highness!" The crowned cat cried out happily, with that he hugged her tight with affection as the two of them continued on their way, to finish the rest of their busy day...

Feeling this warmth enter her heart, Kairi put her hands upon her chest. Then said, seeing all the memories of Beatrix, Reeve and Cait sith enter her mind, "Oralee... you are so loved!"

"Yes... I am most fortunate."

"Huh!?" Gasping in surprise, Kairi cried out, "Oralee I can hear you!"

"That's good, I was worried you wouldn't be able to."

Surprised, Kairi asked her, "Wait? Do you mean you knew this would happen?"

"I remembered it was a phenomenon that may occur with a Vessel of Fragment, from what I learned in the libraries."

"Oh?" Kairi uttered, "So you're not mad at me then, for what happened?"

"You didn't have a choice then, so I don't blame you... don't worry."

"Okay," Kairi replied, however she did add, "Still I am sorry that I had to do that to you so suddenly..." however brightening up, she said, "But at least now we'll be together, we can join forces now like we planned!"

"True! Though I never expected it to be like this!"

"Same!" Kairi laughed, however remembering the situation they were in, she said, "Alright, let's go save him then, let's get Reeve back!"

"Yes, let us! Do you know where-!"

"I do!" Kairi answered, then looking to her left, she could see the yellow pod prison that surely contained him in the faraway distance. As she remembered the hue the shield spell had shone with, when protecting Xehanort!

Becoming determined, she held her Keyblade tightly in her hand and told Oralee, "I'll help you now to save the person you treasure!"

"Kairi... thank you again, I'm so glad to be joined with you!"

"Same!" She replied brightly, then quickly the red haired she told her fellow princess, "Okay, c'mon let's go!"

"Right!"

With that both of the princess's were on their way to save the knight who now needed to be saved!

"AAAGGGHHH!"

Being inflicted with countless bites and cuts, Nozomi couldn't see through this living purple pink eyed storm! She couldn't even call on any spells, since the air was so stifled for her and her friends!

She was finding it harder and harder to breathe! If nothing changed soon, they'd-!

"The calvary is here!"

Shocked, Nozomi couldn't believe the voice she heard, was it-!

"Lion's Heart!"

BLAST! BLAST! BLAST! BLAST! BLAST!

Suddenly the Heartless that were all drowning everyone were quickly being blasted back by powerful gunfire magic! Then as the darkness cleared, Nozomi with amazement saw, "Leon!?"

However the black clad warrior wasn't finished and quickly moving his Gunblade upwards-!

KABOOM!

A huge circle of them were wiped out by a blast of fiery power! Then as some strayed into the air-!

"Time for you to taste my blade!"

SLICE! SLICE! SLICE! SLICE! SLICE!

Then quickly another shape emerged, it was Meixeg's own giant ape Dusk that came forth! As it did, it revealed it's giant hairy left hand, then quickly shooting out from the blue gem, within the centre of its palm-!

"Course we did!" The mischievous white haired Nobody told her, "After all, how could we miss the battle of the century!"

However not interested in this, Araxne asked a more pressing question, "Are you all intact?"

Ody hearing her, then called back, "Yeah we're fine!" Then he told his fellow Nobodies, "Guys thank you! You've done all brilliantly here!"

Araxne nodded pleased, while Meixing told him with a wave, "Oh stop, you're gonna make me blush!"

Zidane with the others upon Ruby couldn't help but say, "Just wished you guys would have got here sooner!"
