Chapter 37: Feast(Part 1)(Nathile's POV)

"I've inflarated the museum as you've requested Hawkmoth," Natalie says, trying to be calm. The plan worries her, what if the sentimonster, even after they akumatize him, doesn't listen and eats their miraculous before Gabriel makes the wish, and then destroys all of Paris. Adrien, Keith, they wouldn't be safe, and neither will the world if that happens.

But, Gabriel's her boss. Keeps her employed….

"Mayura awaken it."

Hesitant she touches the dormant sentimonster. Intense hunger and anger surge through her. Her eyes widened, this sentimonster was created out of spite. Worry courses through her but pushes mentally onward.

Connecting to the amok, she gives it life. Immediately it leaps forward, it takes on a more purple colour now that it is freed from its slumber. Then it sticks its tongue out going straight for her chest. She dodges and as it moves closer she pulls on the amok and makes her right hand get into snapping position.

"Don't try anything or I will make you cease to exist."

The frog bows its head and growls in dissatfistion.

"It's all yours now Hawkmoth,"

An akuma flies above the sentimonster and eats it with his tongue. Suddenly it immediately gets akumatized and grows bigger. Then it races off into the night chanting, "Yum, Yum, Miraculous!"

Team Miraculous, good luck stopping this one. The whole world is counting on it.

Master Fu's POV

"Master, are you sure about this?" Wayzz, his kwami asks, after dropping Chloe's and Renarde Rouge's miraculous to him. He makes a mental note of how close Renarde's miraculous was to Chole's. He already had Ryuko's and now it was time to go and take Keith's and Adrien's.

"Yes. They are a good team but this sentimonster is one like none they have ever faced before. It beat all Seven of the Guardians, who despite being older and one being past his prime, were all great fighters. But this team is nowhere near their levels and I cannot let them face the same fate that befell the Guardians."

It has to be this way. The cold winter breeze makes him shiver. All of them are too inexperienced to deal with this. Running is the only option. The only reason he survived was out of luck.

"Fine. But I think you're underestimating them as a team."

"I am not. While Keith may be an excellent fighter, Adrien a good leader, Zoe a good illusionist and Kagami a good fighter and Chloe adaptable they will not stand a chance against my sentimonster at their current state."

Wayzz sighs, but gives up arguing.

Good.

He starts his car(and yes he has a car. How else is he supposed to get groceries and get to everywhere he needs to go). Taking the wheel he drives away from the Hotel and to the Bakery. Adrien…. I feel bad doing this to you, but it's the only way to make sure you stay safe. I cannot let you die for what I did 269 years ago as a young boy all because I was hungry and angry at the Guardians, Master Fu thinks.

Pulling in front of the bakery he stops and sighs. Yes this must be done.

"Wayzz,"

Wayzz nods and flies towards the bakery.

Adrien's POV

Rubbing his eyes, Adrien opens them. He swears he heard a sound of rustling paper nearby, but that can't be…..

Then he sees a letter.

Grabbing it he quickly reads over it:

Dear Adrien,

I am so sorry to do this to you, but I cannot let you suffer for a mistake I made years ago. A long time I spent running, and if the past catches up to me, well then this is goodbye. I know I have betrayed your trust and it seems like I don't trust you, truth is I do. But this sentimonster is a beast and I cannot let you take the risk of dying like my Elder Guardians before me. Live your life, fulfil your dreams,.

Getting up quickly in shock, he runs towards the balcony. From it he sees a car speeding away. "Dammit Master!" Then he sees a purple frog chase him. Horror overtakes him. There's no way, it can't be….. Hawkmoth actually used the Sentimonster?! Master Fu was right?

Well he did explain it in the letter. But still.

He has to do something. Master Fu won't stand a chance if the Sentimonster is as really bad as he says it is. He pushes down the hurt and goes back into Marinet…. his room. There must be something he can use to disguise himself, he thinks as he looks through his and Keith's closet.

He finds a motorcycle suit and a helmet. That should disguise him enough. Only trick is to make his voice sound different, but he can work on that later. Creeping out of the room and out of the house he takes Marinette's bike and starts riding throughout the streets.

Eventually he sees the monstrous frog chasing Master Fu.

"Master!" He cries out, clear anguish in his cry. But he's unaware if he heard it. But that doesn't matter, he's got a Senitmonster to stop. Somehow. Oh this is going to be sooooo easy.

Master Fu's POV

"Look Master, Adrien must have come after you."

Master Fu looks in his side view mirror and curses, "Of course he must have. I should've known that because of his selfless heart he wouldn't let me take on the burden for my mistakes alone."

"That's a good thing. You've been alone for long….."

"No. It's not a good thing. He's going to get himself hurt!"

But as he continues to look in his side view mirror more people have joined the mysterious biker. This is his problem, why are others butting in? It's all his fault that any of this happened, that Hawkmoth got the miraculous of the Butterfly and the Peacock.

It is his burden.

But as he continues to glance at the disguised hero's efforts, he sighs. Stopping the car, he gets out and stands in front of the sentimonster. He can't afford for his chosen heroes(well one had the miraculous fall into her lap, but she has proven a valuable asset in some akuma attacks, but that's not the point) to die for his mistake. And if this continues Feast might just get super annoyed and attack them.

The heroes race to his side and stand in front of him. Acting as guard. However he moves forward until the beast stops right in front of him. Stating plainly, "You can smell the miraculous on me can't you? Well leave these five alone, I am the one who created you and I am the Guardian. Your fight is with me and not them."

Then he turns to the five and hands them their respective miraculous and whispers, "I'm sorry for not trusting you. But fighting to try and save me whilst not having your miraculous….. That proves to me that you will never give up the fight and protect everyone, even the ones who are guilty, now go transform. I will hold my sentimonster off."

"Wayzz, shell on!"

It hurts doing the moves, but he gets through it to complete it. After all he promised to hold the fierce sentimonster off. And he can't let them take full responsibility for ending his mistake.

The Sentimonster tries to attack with his tongue but he dodges, but his landing is a little rough though. Time is catching up, that's for sure, he thinks as he barely dodges another tongue attack.

"Step aside, we got this," says Adrien, transformed as Chat Noir standing with his team beside him. And they lounge at his sentimonster. A part of him wants to help, but as he moves to help he falls down. Getting old is not fun. He just hopes they can do this.
