#LifeAndVictory
Never at a time like this have the Super Hero Girls found themselves dealing with a complicated situation. After confronting their enemies and defeating them, Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Question, Bumblebee, Zatanna and Green Lantern seemed to be dealing with an enemy capable of countering every one of their attacks: Lawrence Crusher, Sportsmaster. Cheshire's father and a ruthless mercenary. With brute strength in his body, with no power at all, it was clear how much his abilities could rival that of his gifts and strength. Diana put her sword and shield with her, being the first to attack the mercenary, while Batgirl and Zatanna provided the help. Creating another smokescreen, Barbara took advantage of the scene to deliver several kicks to his body as he glided across the room, however, Sportsmaster didn't seem to be feeling any of the attacks, which made her worry.
"So weak." Throwing one of his daggers, Sportsmaster managed to trap Batgirl's cowl into a wall, taking her by surprise with this course of action. - "I have learned to anticipate the movements of my enemies, over all these years. They are not the first ones who try to defeat me by surprise. "
"So you saw that coming?" Green Lantern said, creating a dig with her power ring and trying to hit the mercenary, but managing to dodge in time, Lawrence took advantage and prepared a device on his left wrist, launching a small arrow and creating a small burst of light, blinding his opponents, it was clear how huge the group's concern was at that point. - "He seems to be anticipating our every move."
"I know enough about their weaknesses. What makes them vulnerable, everything. Thanks to Cheshire, I was able to find out numerous things. The plans for this city are about to come to fruition. This time, none of you will be able to stop the inevitable." Sportsmaster's arrogance seemed to precede how much there was something unexpected about his plans. Question positioned herself, attacking him in every way she knew how through her knowledge from all of her combat skills, yet her opponent seemed to be unable to sense any of the attacks. - "That's Question's strength?" Surprisingly, he grabbed Renée's neck, putting his strength to use and trying to immobilize the vigilante with all his might, it was more than clear how much everything seemed to be heading towards an unfavorable fight against the Super Hero Girls. He looked like a heavyweight fighter, however, more stronger than the villains, even when he didn't have any powers. - "Your attacks look more like a stop-motion movie. The faceless detective doesn't have it in her body to defeat me.
"Sportsmaster, mark my words! We're going to defeat you!" Deciding to change tactics, Diana spun the Lasso of Truth as fast as she could, creating a small wind current that took over the place and with that, gave a gap to hit the mercenary with the rope, throwing him into a wall and opening a hole in it, it was clear how Lex Luthor, who was watching everything through the cameras, started to get angry. - "Zatanna!" Diana said, giving the sign for the magician to attack.
"Ezilibomi mih htiw nori smaeb!" Chanting the spell, some iron beams appeared behind Zatanna, throwing them into Sportsmaster and with this, immobilizing his chest and tying his arms on the back, making Zatanna laugh with all of this. - "You don't look so confident now."
"Gotta admit. It's a nice tactic. But... it won't work with me." Without hesitating, he ripped the bars apart, showing his strength on a different level. In peak condition, it was clear how sometimes, a mercenary with no powers could be more difficult than the villains they were used to face. - "It's useless. You're more used to certain situations that put all of you against familiar foes. But to me, it's more than just skills. It's raw power. I... I have never failed in a mission before and this won't be the first time. My daughter has something that she will delight herself to do it."
Placing the daggers in his hands, Sportsmaster began to demonstrate all his imposing presence showing how he was not afraid to fight his opponents, even more so considering all he knew of weaknesses, it was clear how long they still had ahead of them. Wonder Woman took the lead, holding only her shield and with that, she took the opportunity to use the strength she had with her against the mercenary, standing in a position equal to Lawrence Crusher. Being pushed back, Diana put her true strength on display, giving it her all and with that, Jessica launched herself on the side of the Amazon, using her ring to create a giant fist and with that, try to hit the villain, who dodged using his agility and dexterity.
"Who do you think taught Jade everything she knows? I have enhanced training. Military level." Sportsmaster said, making clear his true willingness to fight.
The heroines were sure of one thing: they were facing an even more difficult situation than ever, but that didn't shake any of them. Bumblebee then took advantage of the distraction provided by Wonder Woman and Green Lantern, and in this, Karen came a little closer as she flew, and as she pressed a button on her costume, she returned to normal size, banging her head with everything, managing to get up after a few seconds, leaving the heroine completely surprised at what she had done. She knew a few tricks, but still, doing something difficult was more surprising to Karen than she could have imagined.
"Way to go, girl!" Looking to Zatanna, who was talking to Karen, the girl in the suit then bowed down, just to make a reverence as a compliment.
"Thank you. I wasn't sure it would work now." Out of nowhere, the insane laughter was heard, where against all odds, Sportsmaster stood up, just staying silent. Sighing under his mask, he saw how much of a difficulty lay ahead of him. It was somewhat unexpected dealing with an out-of-this-world situation. - "Impossible." Even with Bumblebee's attack, the mercenary had still stood.
"Being humiliated like that. I was hoping I wouldn't have to do that, but... I have no choice."
Picking up a vial with a green liquid inside, the Super Hero Girls seemed surprised by it, but Batgirl, on the other side, seemed to have figured out what it really was.
"I think some of you know this substance. An improved version of an enhancer."
"Venom..." Batgirl said, mostly in shock, which did not go unnoticed by the group. - "That's the substance that Bane used in his fights against Batman."
"A finalized version. The main difference is that it amplifies the user's strength even more, without the side effects." Ingesting the substance, throwing the vial on the floor, Sportsmaster gave another smile from under his field hockey mask. - "I hope you are ready for the counterattack."
Feeling his muscles getting a little stronger, Sportsmaster began to walk, at which point, he started walking towards the heroines. Batgirl, Question, Green Lantern, Zatanna, Bumblebee and Wonder Woman looked on, but the Amazon took the lead, putting the Lasso of Truth in her right hand and the shield at the ready in her left, then she put the sword in her back. With that, she closed her eyes and thought about what might happen now."
"Hera... give us strength." Diana said, still optimistic about the victory.
On the main room, Cheshire continued to hold Artemis and Johnny in her hands, trying to figure out what her next move would be. Her greatest fears seemed to be manifesting themselves in countless ways, which made her manipulate the camera feed once again as she activated the device on her wrist, more worried than ever. Hearing the sound of the fight, all around, Jade held her double sai on her hands, thinking even more about what lay ahead. Her thoughts were not focused on the fight, and in that, one could still tell how much there was something very wrong with this story.
"Your friends are in serious trouble, sis. As long as my father is fighting them like this, they can't win." Laughing at the scene, Artemis looked at Jade, even more confident than she could imagine now.
"You don't know the Super Hero Girls like I do. You have known only their weaknesses, and I can sense an extra something. You started this with conviction and now, you have your doubts in mind. Because you don't know what's ahead."
"That's because I can't see any way out of this. Artemis, our father has something he brought in case of emergency. An improved version of the Venom enhancer. You remember the last few months in Gotham, right? With these words, it became very clear how much his friends had a bigger problem to solve, according to Johnny. Unable to move, it was clear how much he could tell himself that he had something bigger to solve. - "Maybe he'll get it over with real quick.
"That's my friends you're talking about!" The boy's anger was growing, which caused Jade to become deeply afraid, remembering what had happened a few hours ago when Atlas confronted her, still feeling the sword jammed into his body. - "When I get out of here, I'm going to..."
Cheshire's fear made her press the button, discharging another electrical discharge, managing to contain the boy's anger for a while. Sighing, she took advantage of the fact that she was turned around, making Artemis hold the paper clip in her hands, still tied aloft. Slowly, it was clear how much Tigress had some tricks up her sleeve to be revealed.
"Do you really think you will accomplish anything? There is a very obvious reason why our father has never failed in a single mission. And he's putting it all out there." The words said by Cheshire seemed to be taking over, showing how she was concerned, but at the same time, knowing that a battle against Sportsmaster was more difficult than she could ever imagine now.
Artemis felt a little fear returning to his body. The fact that she remembered the period when he had custody of the two only demonstrated how much there were still certain problems to be solved. Something to be exorcised in her body and willing to do everything to solve this story. Sighing, she closed her eyes, knowing full well what would happen from now on.
A few years ago...
From an unexpected side, remembering the past was always difficult. In Artemis' case, it was the fact that she was subjected to the hard training that her father put her through in the middle of everything. Jade's absence seemed to be complicating everything at the moment and with all this, it was to be expected, how Sportsmaster would go all in on the tough path to train his daughter. In one way, Artemis lived with this all the time, even more so considering how far her problems went. On the one hand, the book she loved to read the most since she was a little girl: Alice Through the Looking Glass. It was a form of comfort in difficult times. But for Artemis, a purple eye from training just symbolized how far everything was going in some respects. Sighing, the blonde girl thought even more about the possibilities of how she herself might be losing a grip she couldn't imagine. Hearing a tapping on the window, the girl saw Jade catch her eye, leaving her surprised.
(Jade) - Did I come at a bad time? - Artemis just stayed silent, looking at her sister with the purple eye on her face and at that, Jade just crossed her arms, worried. - Training with dad once again?
(Artemis) - What do you want, Jade? - Jade Nguyen. In a different way, loving her sister seemed to be the most difficult challenge of her life as she tried to stay away from her father and his controversial training methods.
(Jade) - Why do you think so?
(Artemis) - Sometimes, you only come here when you need something. - This was a half-truth. Because in many situations, Jade needed a support in complicated moments.
(Jade) - I'm with some troubles. Kinda need some food for the next trip.
-Then you should think about asking for certain stuff. - The Sportsmaster's voice took over the room, where he looked at his daughters, knowing full well what Jade wanted so badly.
(Jade) - Hi, dad.
(Sportsmaster) - The last time I saw you, you said you were leaving this house. Well, I think this might be a good time for us to talk.
(Artemis) - Please.
(Jade) - I think you've proved your point. You see, I still have some tricks of which you have no idea. - Lawrence Crusher could see his daughter, noticing how Jade still didn't embrace her anger to do what should be done.
(Sportsmaster) - Still reluctant. Because he doesn't quite understand what should be done. Sometimes the paths we choose don't always provide what we need.
(Jade) - Tell it to mom.
(Sportsmaster) - You think you can do what you can do, but when it's all over, you'll realize how far you can go to survive. - Looking at Jade, irritation seemed to be giving way to pride and arrogance. - You're not taking anything from this house, Jade.
(Artemis) - Dad, don't do that.
(Jade) - All right, sis. - Going out the window, Jade felt something unusual in her body. A part of herself having a feeling of despair taking over her soul, not knowing what could happen now. - You go along with this concept of wanting to use rage and despair to kill your enemies, but at some point, it will kill you.
(Sportsmaster) - When you understand what you need, you will know what awaits you.
Leaving the house, Artemis felt a certain worry in her body. Seeing her father staring at her, slowly, she knew very well what the silent gaze said would happen now. More training, until she couldn't take it. It might be hours, but all the concepts of fighting, had been taught by him. In a way, even though she was young, she swallowed her own pride to be able to endure what she had to do.
Now...
The memories of Artemis Crock and Jade Nguyen were not very good for the most part. But always thinking about the paths they took, it was clear how much both were always in different situations, different times and different thoughts. Because there has never been a story that involved rivalry like that of two sisters, always coming into constant conflict with each other. Johnny Young, on the other side, could see this coming from the looks on the sisters' faces.
"That's the way it was, you know? Our father always dictating the rules with Mom in jail and in that, having various setbacks. That's why I left our home." Jade was talking, but that was enough to make Johnny angry, seeing how twisted, the Cheshire family was at these times.
"You dared to leave your own sister alone, why couldn't you stand your father in the midst of this whole scenario?" Johnny seemed to be channeling his own inner anger into something unexpected, which made it clear how much his powers were about to explode in a way that even Artemis couldn't admit.
"Those were complicated times."
"Everyone can have a hard life. But we shouldn't let a troubled past affect us in the future." The boy maintained his optimism, even though he knew that being in the hands of mercenaries seemed to be difficult, but he kept moving forward to be able to make sure that in the end, in his mind, the villains would be defeated. - "You talk about having problems, but I have mine too. The fact that I use my powers and don't know how to keep control always makes me afraid." Jade seemed to be sincerely touched by the boy's words, realizing something unexpected: He had that fear too. The same fear of losing himself to something difficult. - "I think you understand that feeling well, Cheshire."
"I would be lying if I said anything else. I always wondered about the moment when everything would go wrong. Entering into a plan head on out of spite was a difficult thing. At first, it was just for the money that Luthor was offering, but then, the plan extended to certain points where I wanted to break the pedestal that these heroes were involved in. But I think I may have gone too far. However, I still need you, Atlas." Jade turned around, looking at Atlas, and with this, held her double sai once again. - "I need the advantage, now more than ever. Lex wants the opportunity to study you, but I intend to bring down the house of cards he has drawn up. Making this plan go forward is starting to go very wrong, even more so now."
"Maybe this is how it all ends, Jade." Atlas's mind was seized with uncertain will, considering his own problems, but he still looked at Tigress, managing to move his fingers imperceptibly, trying to break free of his bonds. - "With the fear. The truth that changed you in a different way. You can't accept the fact that we can make a difference in difficult times. Even if everything goes wrong, they have someone they can count on. Yet you chose to break the wheel. And do everything you can to bring down our reputation."
"So this is how it will end? Do you think I will be captured so easily?"
"Jade, please." Artemis said, still believing her sister, but Jade, on the other hand, had a completely worried look on her face because it was the fact that she was trying to get revenge on Luthor and to break out of this story with her dignity and reputation intact.
A few years ago...
Artemis could understand some of the problems involving her. Even without Jade's presence, she seemed to be a little surprised at what she was experiencing. Time passed and with it, the girl seemed to have become much more beautiful in this passage. Gradually, the blonde ponytail and looking back at her room, the presence of her mother, finally having served her sentence, but in a wheelchair. The girl with the blond hair could feel some of her fear and considering everything she had learned in her training, she could well understand the truth in her father's words: The feeling of rage embodied in the body as a weapon. But she was not like that. She did not intend to be. Looking at the bow she had with her and the arrows, Artemis knew the risks that the life of a heroine could take.
(Paula) - I always wondered when this day would come. - Paula Nguyen could feel in her body the consequences of her old life, personified in the wheelchair where she was now stuck because of her last mission. - But I never thought it would be this way.
(Artemis) - My father trained me too well. Unfortunately. - Crossing her arms, Artemis understood very well the emotions running through her body and that precisely for this reason, she could not be guided by the same emotions that drove her own sister out of the house, wanting to escape from something she could not handle. - May I ask you something? Why have you always put faith in my sister?
(Paula) - Why this question? - Paula said, confused by this doubt and irritated by her own daughter.
(Artemis) - When you were in jail, we tried to stick together. But the fact that Dad wanted Jade to give in to something made her leave this house. She left me alone to deal with the constant training, and I can tell you how much it is the understatement of the year. - Artemis Crock was indeed a polar opposite of her family. Considering how much her determination only increased to give her all to something different, she tried to do what she could, even if it meant becoming someone else fighting for justice.
(Paula) - Your sister wanted you to have a chance, Artemis. To have a life like other people. Because Jade knew that if you went with her, there would be no way to keep a constant. We can't define ourselves by our mistakes, even more by the past. Even if it always accompanies us, we make our own choices. Your sister took a path that led her to a different point. - Artemis then knelt before her mother, trying to understand the message. - There is still goodness in your sister's heart, Artemis.
Thinking carefully about what she was going to do, Artemis knew very well what would happen if she chose this path. However, without realizing it, Jade was outside, placing one of her hands on the window, wearing a green suit and the mask she had on. Removing the mask, Jade looked at her sister, wondering very well what would happen from now on. She then put her right hand on the window pane and, after shedding a tear, headed for the roof, jumping from side to side, out of nowhere, Jade heard a whistling sound behind her. Looking back, she saw Artemis behind her, to her own shock.
(Artemis) - Jade! Please!
(Jade) - Haven't you done enough already, sis?
(Artemis) - Please. - At that moment, they were not two polar opposites talking to each other, to the point of doing everything to achieve victory, but two sisters trying to understand their true roles in relation to what fate has thrown at them. - We need to talk.
(Jade) - I don't want to! Don't you realize what is in store for both of us, Artemis?
(Artemis) - You play this game all the time, always wanting to walk away when you try to talk to me.
(Jade) - Have you ever thought that maybe this path will lead to something you won't be prepared for? That all of this will be much more difficult to deal with in the future?
(Artemis) - For a moment, I wonder why all this is happening, but I think I may have finally found the answer to this whole story. You've become just like Dad. - Artemis' words seemed to affect Jade in an unexpected way. For Cheshire, to see her own sister comparing her to the last person she had most hoped for was something she didn't want to hear.
(Jade) - I am nothing like him. His fears have become something quite complicated to deal with. I always dreaded the day when everything would go wrong, sis. - Jade couldn't be sure anymore which truth she wanted to hear at that moment: the fact that her sister was putting everything to the test, from the roof of the house where she lived, or whether she preferred to believe in her own truth. That she could solve the problems around her. - Someday you will understand what I mean. The heroes around us have not helped us before and we have seen this scenario countless times. Trust me. When you find yourself in a situation at this level, you won't really know what can happen. You will only be a real hero once you see me as an enemy. Choosing the right path is difficult.
Putting her feet back, Jade took a leap, jumping out of the building and leaving Artemis alone. The fact that she was losing her sister was something complicated in her view, and in this, her whole path became something worrying. The biggest thought was not even of if, but when it would happen. When he would have to deal with his own sister again.
Now...
The tension between Jade and Artemis had reached a point where both would be forced to choose which side they would really be on for the end of this whole conflict that was started, for the most part, by Lex Luthor. The blonde-haired woman finally saw in her hands, an opportunity to escape, but was not sure if she could really convince her own sister otherwise. Both were in emotional conflict, not knowing what their next move would be.
"Your friends may be about to suffer the biggest defeat of their lives, Atlas." Jade said, for once, showing concern about the heroines. - "As long as our father is using everything he has in his arsenal, nothing can stop him from finishing off every single one of the Super Hero Girls."
What could time tell at this point? Only one thing was certain: the problems between Jade and Artemis only increased, and at this thought Johnny Young was sure that he had more than one problem coming. Closing his eyes, the boy just waited to see how he would get out of the trouble he had gotten himself into.
Amidst all this trouble, Sportsmaster continued his fight against the Super Hero Girls, led by Wonder Woman in an attempt to contain the mercenary, using an enhanced and modified version of the Venom enhancer. The girls' determination and courage stood firm, as did Diana, who led the team in trying to contain the villain before them, but at the same time, realizing how his brute force put them in a very unfavorable position. The Amazon warrior put all her strength into her attacks on her opponent. Using her sword to strike the mercenary's face, only one cut on the field hockey mask was made, surprising Diana.
"This is everything you've got?" The words said by Sportsmaster seemed to be filled with dread and fear, trying to defeat the heroines.
"Srorrim raeppa!"
Creating mirrors around them, Sportsmaster started to see more silhouettes of the heroines, leaving him confused. Sensing the opportunity, Zatanna began to double her body through her magic, the same way she had done with Lena at the pier with her friends, and opening her arms, she released a wave of very strong energy, managing to hit Lawrence Crusher in the chest, but putting his hands in front, the mercenary continued to force his body in front, allowing an unexpected counterattack. Grabbing a field hockey puck from around his waist, Sportsmaster went all out for the strike. Stopping just in front of Zatanna, a sonic wave came out of the puck, hitting the magician, just like Batgirl and Question.
"Is this all you've got?"
"Vile human. The glory of battle you have in your soul is tainted." Wonder Woman seemed to be boiling with rage, seeing all of her friends in disadvantage in the fight. - "I can assure you, in the name of all of the Older Gods, you will fall!"
Diana stood forward and taking the call once again, attacked Sportsmaster, deciding to use only her fists. In what could be seen as a bold move from the Amazon, leaving everyone on the team in shock. Green Lanter and Bumblebee stayed on Wonder Woman's side, giving Zatanna, Batgirl and Question time to get back on their feet. The trio then split, confusing Sportsmaster in battle. Shrinking in size again, Karen approached the mercenary's back, using her stingers to get the villain's attention, however, Jessica used her ring to grab Sportsmaster's arms, which allowed Diana to use all her power in an intense way, surprising both of them.
"I always wondered how far my true strength would go. Until I discovered that I could hold myself back in some parts." Wonder Woman's statement demonstrated how much the Amazon warrior and leader of the Super Hero Girls would do anything to protect her friends, siblings, and battle companions, but at the same time, not using the true extent of her strength, beyond what she had discovered about herself so far. - "But I guess for someone like you, it's worth making an exception! "
Diana didn't hold back on her blows, except that even though the impact did some damage to Sportsmaster, he remained standing, leaving the Amazon herself perplexed by what had happened. Holding the Lasso of Truth, Wonder Woman tied the rope around his neck, leaving the group worried about what was going to happen.
"I compel you to surrender!" Wonder Woman said, but out of nowhere, Sportsmaster grabbed the golden Lasso, pulling Diana with unusual strength thanks to the Venom enhancer.
"Never!"
Pulling the heroine towards him, Sportsmaster landed a hard kick on the Amazon, knocking her to the ground, and using his willpower, managed to break the projection of the Green Lantern ring worn by Jessica, throwing her backwards, which forced Bumblebee to retreat, realizing that she was the merc's next target. Suddenly, a sound wave hit his face, causing Sportsmaster to put his hands to his ears, which caused the villain to get punched in the face, knocking him to the ground. Then, an arrow was launched, and another metal rope came out, trapping him on the ground, where the group saw the presence of Supergirl, Black Canary and Huntress, giving an air of hope to the Super Hero Girls.
"Did we arrive at a bad time?" Supergirl said, standing next to her friends.
"A few more minutes and I'd miss the whole party. " Batgirl then, helped Zatanna and Question to get onto their feet, looking to each other.
"We have a pretty serious problem. He used Bane's enhancer and is managing to hold all our attacks. Even my magic, he managed to held his own." Zatanna was worried by the scene, but optimistic to see that reinforcements had indeed arrived.
"You can come as many as you want, because I'm ready for anything." Sportsmaster talked, more confident than usual, even more so with his increased strength.
"Siblings. Are you ready for combat?" Diana asked, which caused the rest of her friends to nod, agreeing with the Amazon.
The Super Hero Girls and the Birds of Prey were reunited, ready to continue their mission to rescue Tigress and Atlas from the hands of Cheshire and Sportsmaster, but Jade still had her own plans to escape the final phase of this plan. Still keeping an eye on her sister and her partner, she didn't notice the fact that Artemis was trying to use a paper clip to cut the restraints from which she was bound. Very soon, the fight would reach its climax. But will the union of the two teams be able to defeat Sportsmaster?
Epilogue...
Behind the wall of one of the rooms before the next corridor where the heroines faced Sportsmaster, Icestreak was watching the whole scene, having recovered from the defeat he had suffered and being fully conscious again. Still seeing both sides, it was something unexpected to see on his part. As a spectator, he seemed to find himself more willing than ever to do something unexpected.
"Were they telling the truth? Could this all be a lie?" As confused as he was, for once, under the mask, Jason seemed to believe the Super Hero Girls, which to him could be something quite surprising. - "There's still a lot more coming ahead.
Inside his room, watching every corner, Lex Luthor just gave a smile, confident of his triumph regarding his plan: Very soon, the defenders of Metropolis would be defeated, in his mind, just as he would also have the advantage of being able to learn more about Atlas' powers and how to use them to his advantage. Pressing a button, a panel opened behind the billionaire, where he looked at a special suit. Pressing another button, activating the room's AI, Lex began to prepare himself for the final details.
"Hope. Is the suit ready for test?" Lex asked, on which he waited an answer.
"Yes, Mr. Luthor. All the requirements, are done. In your Lexosuit, you will be entitled into the weaknesses of all the heroes you researched until so far." The AI answered, almost like an angel voice, part of the programming.
"It's time to begin the endgame. Soon enough, there will be some troubles ahead for them. It doesn't matter what happens now. Cheshire already set the foundations for the final part of my master plan. Discrediting these heroines was only the first step. No one will know what happens now."
Lex Luthor's conviction was strong. Enough to know the exact moment to act and to contain his opponents. Seeing his enemies fighting against each other, he was ready for the final act in his plan, ready for the inevitable.
To be continued...
Author's Note: Well, folks, we've indeed have some surprises for you in this chapter. Like I said, part of these chapters are inspired in Young Justice, but as fate would have this, no pun intended, we still have a road ahead. With the tide of the fight in a little disadvantage between the Super Hero Girls, will the arrival of Supergirl, Black Canary and Huntress turn the battle in their favor? And while Cheshire seems to have some doubts in her mind involving their plans, will her gambit against Lex Luthor have success? Or will Lex manage to fulfill his plan, once and for all?
To be honest, this chapter relied on more flashbacks, just indeed, I've decided to mash-up some writing styles to change the dynamic in the story. The twists will come in very surprising ways, unlike any other in the next chapters. How will the Cheshire arc end? Well, that's an answer that will be revealed very soon, dear readers.
See you all next time! Hope you enjoyed the chapter, folks!
