At the base of S.P.E.C.T.R.E...

Three Nazi inspectors come to see Vogel's progress, Hitler is somewhat impatient.

Inspector 1: "The Führer is not used to being ignored, Vogel, he funds his investigations for his promise of weapons."

Inspector 2: "I remind you that you are at his service, for some reason I don't understand, you gave him these facilities on a distant continent... I think to compensate for his injuries."

Colonel Ernst Vogel: "Tell it like it is, exile, I am no longer tied to your image of perfection."

The third inspector looks at the symbol of S.P.E.C.T.R.E, an octopus (presumably alluding to the Kraken), he also sees the clothing of one of the soldiers too futuristic for his taste, not only that, he sees necklaces, skulls and canes that are from the Aghori tribe too intriguing.

Inspector 1: "You call yourself a weapons division, and in a year you haven't been able to make even a measly rifle, right now we're hearing from local intelligence that you staged a large-scale raid on Norway."

Inspector 2: "The Führer believes, how to put it delicately...that Ernst Vogel has lost what little sanity he had left."

Vogel stops for a moment and looks at them out of the corner of his eye, keeping them (to some extent) intimidated.

Colonel Ernst Vogel: "Gentlemen, you have come to see the results of our work, I am going to show you."

Vogel leads them to the lab, where Toht is.

Colonel Ernst Vogel: "Hitler does not feed his men for a month, causing his troops to shed blood in all the fields of Europe, so he is not yet close to achieving his goals."

Vogel shows them some kind of cannon, but it's too advanced.

Inspector 1: "I imagine you still hope to win this war with magic."

The inspectors taunt Vogel.

Colonel Ernst Vogel: "In one world, magic and science go hand in hand, but it is understandable that in primitive minds they become confused."

Toht looks at what Vogel is going to do, Vogel programs the cannon.

Colonel Ernst Vogel: "S.P.E.C.T.R.E is about to create an arsenal to destroy my enemies in one fell swoop, wherever they are, despite all the forces they possess, and in a matter of seconds."

Inspector 1: "Wait, did you say your enemies?"

Colonel Ernst Vogel: "My weapons contain enough destructive power to decimate any hostile capital on the face of the earth."

The third inspector notices something on a strategic point map, Vogel counts them.

Colonel Ernst Vogel: "In short, gentlemen...I have acquired the power of the great wizards."

The inspectors still don't take it seriously.

Inspector 2: "We appreciate it, Mr. Vogel."

Colonel Ernst Vogel: "Thank me for what?"

Inspector 2: "For confirming to us once and for all, that he completely lost his mind."

Inspector 3: "Berlin is on this map!"

Colonel Ernst Vogel: "That is correct."

Vogel points the cannon at the inspector.

Inspector 3: "Rest assured that he will be punished for this insolence! ... they will submit him to the gas chamber!".

The cannon shoots green plasma bolts!...killing the inspector, the other two try to flee but are quickly eliminated by Vogel.

Colonel Ernst Vogel: "Avada Kedavra, I beg your pardon, Dr. Arnold...but we both knew that S.P.E.C.T.R.E would never shadow Hitler, ever...bless S.P.E.C.T.R.E."

His soldiers swear allegiance to him, then Vogel looks at Toht.

Arnold Toht: "Blessed be S.P.E.C.T.R.E!"

Vogel is glad he's on his side, but Toht doesn't know if he did the right thing.

At the laboratory...

In the medical room Henry thinks a lot about the death of his father, everything was so sudden... they do a blood test.

Henry Jones: "Was it enough?"

Marion Ravenwood: "All hope of reproducing the show is in your genetic code, but without your father it will take years."

Henry Jones: "My father...he."

Henry finds it hard to speak.

Henry Jones: "He deserved more than this."

Marion Ravenwood: "If it only worked with you, he would have been happy, rest assured."

Henry overhears Rene and Marcus arguing.

Rene Belloq: "Colonel, the committee demands answers."

Marcus Brody: "You want an answer? ... ok, first tell us ... how did a German spy get to my secret facility in his car?! ... Sparrow! ... what do we have? ".

Teague Sparrow: "Excuse me, I'm the best pirate captain and mechanical engineer, but I have no idea what's in here or how it works...we don't know this technology."

It refers to a battle plane.

Rene Belloq: "Who does?".

Marcus Brody: "S.P.E.C.T.R.E, I thought you read our reports?"

Rene Belloq: "I am busy directing various committees."

Marion and Henry walk over.

Marion Ravenwood: "S.P.E.C.T.R.E is the Nazi scientific division, the head is Ernst Vogel, but its ambitions are bigger."

Marcus Brody: "In a way, S.P.E.C.T.R.E is a cult, they revere Vogel...they think he's powerful."

Rene Belloq: "What are they going to do about it?"

Marcus smiles.

Marcus Brody: "I spoke to the president this morning, as of now the SSR has been reassigned."

Marion Ravenwood: "Colonel?"

Marcus Brody: "We will take the fight to S.P.E.C.T.R.E, get ready Agent Ravenwood, you Sparrow, we're going to London today."

Henry Jones: "Sir, if you're going to get Vogel, I want to go."

Marcus Brody: "Experiments at the Fat Alamo."

Henry Jones: "But the serum worked."

Marcus Brody: "What I wanted was an army and I only have you, and you... are not enough."

Brody leaves, leaving a disappointed Henry, however, Rene goes over to talk to him.

Rene Belloq: "With all due respect to the colonel, I think we're missing the point, I saw you in action...Henry, better yet, the whole nation saw you."

Rene shows her the news in the newspaper, her heroic act caused a great sensation.

Rene Belloq: "A great soldier, a symbol, they called him that, that is something that should not be hidden... son, do you want to serve your nation, in the most important battlefield there is?".

Henry Jones: "Sir, that's all I ask."

Rene Belloq: "I congratulate you, you have just been promoted."

Rene shakes hands with Henry, he is happy.
