I've been in an anime mood lately. Problem is, there's only so many anime that I've actually watched growing up. And this is two of my favorites crossing over with each other. Be honest, but don't be mean. Thank you.
Disclaimer: I do not own Sailor Moon or Inuyasha (Go Sesshomaru!) or any of their characters. I do, however, own any OCs created and the story written.
Chapter 7: That Night
"Happy Birthday." Serena turned from grooming Bella and smiled in happiness.
"Sessho." She ran forward and embraced her mate, hard, "I thought you weren't coming in until the ball."
"Actually, um…" he trailed off, making her frown.
"You're not coming."
"There's a lot of unrest taking place in our lands." He grabbed her shoulders to forestall any protest, "I know that we were supposed to announce our engagement tonight, and I am so sorry. I am going to try my hardest to get back as soon as I can, but I'm not sure how long it's going to take." He whipped the tears from her eyes, "I love you."
"I love you, too." She buried her face in his chest, cementing his scent to her senses.

"You look lost in thought." Sesshomaru InuTaisho turned at his father's voice, shaking his head out of his reverie.
"Sorry father. Just… thinking."
Toga InuTaisho, retired Lord of the West and CEO of Taisho Corp, stood beside his son's desk, scrutinizing him, "Thinking." He nodded, "Not business related, is it?"
"No." A knock at the door made them both look over to see Inuyasha coming in, "What, no parties tonight?"
"Um, no," the younger scratched his head as he hesitated at the desk, "some things have happened and I felt that I need to come talk to you about it."
"Just Sesshomaru or am I included in this as well?" His father asked, concerned.
"Mostly Sessh, but it does involve both of you."
"Well, I'm intrigued." He quirked a brow as his youngest son edged closer to him and further from Sesshomaru, "Alright, more so, now. Start explaining."
"As old as the two of you are, how much do to you remember about the Silver Alliance?"
The two older Inus froze, shocked that the young Hanyou would have knowledge of it, "Inuyasha," Toga grabbed his shoulder, "where have you heard that? Even with everything going on, those words aren't being used everywhere. I didn't even think that the school was teaching about it, considering."
"They aren't. I just learned of it today… from Kagome."
"Who?"
"The Miko?" Toga looked at Sessh in understanding, "The one who used to time travel through the well. I had a vague sense of her, like the memories were dreams, but I never thought anymore about it."
"I had the same problem. She goes to my school now and it was driving me crazy. I knew her, but I didn't at the same time. She finally got me alone and told me who she was and the memories started to fade back in."
"What's this got to do with the Silver Alliance?" Toga inquired, "That was centuries later and it was never discussed with you or anyone else."
"Apparently, um, when she made the wish on the Shikon Jewel, the wish collided with a another wish of cosmic proportions."
"Collided? As in, that's the reason the world is the way it is now?"
"And the reason you and mother are still alive."
"Because they died." Sesshomaru muttered, "Naraku. He was the one after the Jewel Shards. He took my arm." He unconsciously flexed his left hand, remembering, "We were constantly trying to kill each other."
"That's right." Yasha edged closer to his father and licked his lips, "But, there's more. The cosmic wish came from a woman from the 30th century."
"How is that even possible?"
"I don't know the specifics." He waved his hand, "That's not what I'm trying to explain here. Sorry, I'm getting off topic. What do you remember about the Royal Family?"
Sesshomaru stiffened, "You might want to be careful with your next words, little brother." His face became stoic as his voice tightened, "Not all memories need to be told and I will not tolerate having that time thrown in my face."
Inuyasha nodded, "I'm aware that you're about two seconds away from throttling me, so I'm going to say this really fast." He took a breath and rushed on, "She's alive."
Silence ensued as his older brother got slowly, "What?"
"Inuyasha, if you're talking about what I think you're talking about, then you better have proof positive evidence. Understand?"
"She goes to my school."
His words caused the older son to stare in shock, "She…"
"Apparently, she's not a typical Reborn. She's actually been Reborn a few times. Her parents are keeping her location quiet, for now. They want her to have as normal a life as she can until it's figured out. It was her wish that collided with Kagome's. Again, I don't know the specifics. Kags tried explaining it to me, but I just got really confused." He looked into his brother's eyes, "She was born with all of her past and future memories. Every lifetime that she's lived. The biggest problem was that before, she only had memories of that last night on the Moon. Some powerful magic was keeping her from remembering her true life." He closed his eyes, and braced himself, "The same magic source altered her destiny when it come to love."
"How?" Sesshomaru growled, getting angrier, "Explain."
"They had originally severed her past connection and ties to you and bound her to some Earth Prince."
"Endymion."
"I'm not sure. According to Kagome, he's no longer in the picture. He's with his original Soul Mate and chose not to return to his Royal duties." He paused, "Look, I told her that she needed to come tell you or I would. Problem is, she just remembered her life with you, yesterday. Everything is still fuzzy and she's trying to sort through them. Kagome said she was scared. That maybe you wouldn't want her when you heard about everything she'd been through. Her life with that Endymion, included."
Sesshomaru ran his hands through his hair in frustration and stalked to the window, "Do you know if she has a pale purple crescent moon on her left shoulder?"
"Um…" He trailed off, thinking about the match with Sango, "yeah. I noticed it during the fight at school. It's faded, but it's there."
"Fight?" Toga smirked, "Who did you beat up now?"
"Not me. They were doing sparing sessions in athletics today. The last match was Sango, a Taijiya and… um…" He stared as his brother turned back to him, quirking his brow, "Your girl."
"And my girl won."
"Yeah. Well, it was called as a tie, but she was barely out of breath and I think she was holding back."
"Considering her training, it's understandable." Toga scratched his head as he turned to his oldest son, "I know a lot is going through your head right now, but you need to stop and think. She just got these memories. She's probably pissed that someone or something messed with her head and life. Give her some time. Let her come to you."
"A thousand years, father." He looked over, grief swimming in his eyes, "We couldn't get up there to help. We were too late. I deserve…"
"I know. But, what's a few more days? Let her come to terms with everything."
"I'm sorry." Inuyasha said, "I know this hurts you, but I thought you deserved to know." He turned and started to walk out, stopping at his brother's words.
"Thank you."

Serenity came down the ballroom stairs and spotted Endymion waiting for her. With a sigh, she met him at the bottom and curtsied, "Hello, again."
He chuckled, "Princess, may I have this dance?" Endymion asked, holding out his hand.
A twinkle in her eyes was the only visible sign of breaking character. She knew what was expected of her. With a nod, she placed her hand in his and allowed him to guide her to the ballroom floor. "What is this?"
"Relax. Just grin and bear it. My father has been even more unbearable since my sister left." His hand tightened in anger, but he kept his face polite and smiled down at her, "After what he did, I don't blame her."
"I'm sorry about that. My mother told me."
"News spreads fast."
"I don't know how fast. Your sister sent word to us before she took off. My sympathies."
"I'm just placating the old man, for now. Bidding my time. I can't keep doing this. I can't keep being around him. Royal duties be damned."
She nodded and concentrated on the dance, not wanting to agitate him more. His father was a piece of work and didn't deserve the throne.
"We're under attack! We're under attack!" Luna yelled as she and Artemis ran into the ballroom to sound the alarm of the danger at the doors of the palace.
There was panic as men rushed to gather weapons in preparation for battle while the women in the room started running in attempt to hide. Serenity hurried to overlook the battle from her balcony. She knew her Soldiers would be heading into the battle. What she saw astounded her. She saw the army of people from Earth with what looked like Endymion's guards leading the fight on the side of evil. "Your people."
"I knew it. Father was too weak to get rid of her and now this."
"Who did this?"
"Beryl." He shook his head, "She's a lower rank sorceress in the Earth Palace. Father felt she was invaluable and has kept her around, even after she started to lose it."
"What do you mean?" She manifested a sword, to his delight, "You didn't think I wouldn't learn how to defend myself, did you?"
He chuckled, "Shouldn't be surprised." He grabbed his own and waited as the doors bursts open to let in their attackers, "Back to back." She nodded and they started defending themselves, "Beryl somehow attached herself to me. I never encouraged her. Not once. She claimed she was in love with me and started obsessing over everything I did. Everyone I talked to. I'm in love with a princess from a small Earth kingdom, but father thinks it was just an infatuation and the girl's kingdom isn't worth claiming. That's why he has been pushing for me to marry you."
The fought for a few more minutes and took a breath, "I could have sworn we told your father that I was already taken."
"Like that mattered to him. He started spreading it around the kingdom that they were going to be merging our two kingdoms and that pushed Beryl over the edge."
"Great."
Another horde of soldiers came barreling in with Beryl, "There she is." The woman screamed, eyes wide and unfocused, "The Little Princess." She cackled, "I will destroy you and take back what's rightfully mine!"
Serena made her sword disappear and brought forth a silver bow, "I never took anything from you, you crazy old witch!"
"You lie!" She screeched as she shot dark energy out, "I will wipe out you and your entire Kingdom!"
Since Endymion was busy with his own opponents, Serena sent out a wave of light from her body and destroyed the ominous cloud. Once it disappeared, she started shooting arrows out at the soldiers.
"Alright. I'm even more impressed." Endymion said, coming to her side. "Let's stop this bitch together, okay?"
"You got it."
Once they were cleared out, they turned to find that Beryl had gather so much dark energy that there was no way to avoid it. She shot it out, aiming straight for a shocked Serena, and cried out in pain as the blast hit Endymion, who jumped in the way.
"No!"
"Endymion!" Serena ran to his side and checked his pulse, upset that her friend was gone, "You killed him."
"You bitch! You did this! This is all your fault!" Beryl was so enraged, that the last bit of control that she had on her senses dissipated, "You stole him from me and now, you've taken him away from me forever! It's time to pay!" The gathered dark energy formed a sword-like tentacle and shot forward into Serena's chest, not giving her a chance to run.
She grabbed her necklace as tears ran down her cheeks, "Sessho…"

Rena wiped the tears from her eyes as she lay on her bed, staring at the moon, squeezing the pillow to her chest. Paid encapsulates her as the true memories of her last night on the moon came pouring over her.
She looked over to her night table where a necklace sat and she smiled in remembrance.
"How could I have forgotten?"

"I have something for you." Sesshomaru said as they walked through the alicorn stalls, just holding on to each other. "If you want it."
"Is it a just because or is it for my birthday?"
"It's a birthday present that duplicates as a little something extra."
"Well, now I'm intrigued. Gimme." He smiled at excitement and pulled out a small box.
She opened the top and gasped in awe. Inside was a silver crescent moon was strung on a silver chain. It had cherry blossoms and two drops of citrine hanging from the top and three stars carved into the bottom. "Oh, Sessho. It's beautiful." She smirked up at him, "Are these two little drops here supposed to be something specific?"
He reached up and pulled her hair out of her tradition Royal updo, "I have no idea what you're talking about." He combed his fingers through her golden locks, transfixed, "The moon should be obvious, though. It's your home and we both have the symbol on our foreheads. Guess that's what happens when it's your family's crest."
She chuckled as she studied the pendant, "The stars."
"The same ones that sparkle in your eyes every time I look into them."
"Cheesy. I like it." She fingered his kimono, "I guess we know where the cherry blossoms come from." She looked up, "I love it. It's a perfect blend of the two of us. I couldn't have asked for a better present."
"Here." He took the necklace and placed it around her neck, "Beautiful."
"Now, what's the something extra?"
"The moon itself was carved and then silver plated out of one of my baby teeth that my mother kept." Her eyes widened in awe, "She's very sentimental that way. There is an old Youkai swordsmith who is loyal to our family. He turned my little fang into a Chakram." She laughed, "Thought you'd like that."
"You're never going to let me live that down, are you?"
"Why? You're the best. You even proved it in competition." He kissed her brow, "Wear it tonight. That way, a part of me will be celebrating with you."
"You'll always be with me."
1-2-3-4-5
Sesshomaru was in his room, laying on the couch by the window. He looked up and stared straight at the moon as memories of the past crashing through him.
Happiness, love… grief.
His Serenity.
From the first time they met until the last time he saw her, their lives were destined to be intertwined. He'd loved her for years. They had a unique and interesting friendship that fulfilled him like nothing else in his childhood. On Earth, he was surrounded by humans and demons who wanted nothing more than to bow down and kiss his boots. None of them matter. Except her.
He used to count the days to when he could go back up and be with her. She treated him like a normal person and she didn't care that he was a demon. He reached down fiddled with the cherry blossom trio charm and smiled. She had given it to him for his 16th birthday. Just incase he ever got tired of wearing them on his clothes. That was the day he knew he loved her as more than a friend. But it wasn't until the Soldier Trials that he knew he was in love with her. She was absolutely incredible.
His face dropped as he thought about that last night. He never should have left.
1-2-3-4-5
Sesshomaru closed his eyes in frustration as he tried to tune out the yelling from the Youkai council around him. He pinched his nose as if cutting off the heading forming behind his eyes. Why, oh he come back down here when he could be with her?
"Bored?" He looked over to see his father smirking at him.
"I shouldn't be here." He frowned, "Something feels off. I shouldn't have left her."
Toga leaned back in his seat, ignoring the blades that just started clashing across the room, "Your feelings are usually accurate. Is it ominous?"
A shiver just ran down the younger Taisho's back, "Very." He growled as he stood up and stalked across the room, not noticed the silence that followed him. He stopped at the teleport mirror that was gifted to them from the King and Queen. After touching it, he looked back at his father, "The mirror's cold."
"What?" The Lord of the West stood up in shock as he joined his son, "That shouldn't be possible. This thing is always on."
"I knew I should never have left. Something's wrong, father. I can feel it."
"Summon your mother." As Sessh left, the Lord of the North came over.
"What seems to be the problem?"
"Our friends on the moon are in trouble."
"Could they have just turned it off?"
"Not possible. The sits directly under the moon and is charged by the Selenium emitting from the beams of light. This mirror was designed and created by the best scientists on Pluto, so there's no way it's broken. And they wouldn't turn it. Not when there's a change that Sesshomaru might make it back up there before her party ends."
"Her party? His betrothed?"
"Yes."
"What happened?" Inukimi yelled as she charged into the room, "It's not working?"
Toga grabbed her arm to calm her down, "Yes. And I agree with Sessh. Something is definitely wrong and we can't get up there to help."
"Father." The tone in his son's voice alarmed him. They rushed over to the far balcony and looked up. What they saw alarmed them.
There was a dark cloud surrounding the moon. "Toga." Inukimi gasped, "What is it?"
"I'm not sure."
"Ahh!" They watched in alarm as Sesshomaru collapsed in pain.
"Son!" The young lord's eyes glowed red as pain rushed through him.
"No." His mother whispered, knowing exactly what happened, "Serenity. Illarion." She stroked her son's cheek, "Serena."
"She's…" He felt it. Their mating mark was deafening. He knew the exact moment her heart stopped. Because his turned to ice.
After a few moments, Toga noticed that the shadows were breaking apart. "Look."
Inukimi and Sessh looked up at too a bright light bursting through the darkness surrounding the moon. Once everything was cleared, Toga went back over to the mirror, "Whatever was blocking it is gone. We can go up there."
He saw Sessh hesitate and understood it. His son was in pain.
The threeDaiyoukai headed to the moon, unprepared for the destruction of the palace grounds. "What happened here?" Inukimi growled, angry. They rushed along to the main ballroom floor. There were any bodies. Anywhere.
It was then they heard voices."Majesty! You did it!" The voice belonging to one of the royal advisers, Luna was heard.
Hearing that, they hurried towards the direction it came from only to come across Queen Serenity lying weak on top of a fallen pillar with the two cats, Luna and Artemis by her side.
"They're gone! You beat them!" Artemis said.
"I trapped them all yes. If I had destroyed them, I would've destroyed Serenity and the others too. Now they're all inside the power of the crystal and now I must send them to a new future on Earth."
"But you saved them. Why are you so sad?" Asked Luna.
"Because none of them will remember anything about this time or this place. And I'll never see my sweet daughter again. OrIllarion, who was on Venus. My friends. You. But this is the only way for any of you to live on." Queen Serenity raised her crescent wand to the space sky. "I have enough power left to send everything you need in the future to Earth. Serenity and her court will need your help if the Negaverse ever breaks free. All of you will be Reborn with no memory of the Moon Kingdom. But if evil forces should try to repeat what happened here, you two will know what to do." She lifted her other hand holding the legendary silver crystal and opened it. "Now farewell, all of you and good luck." The crystal floated up out of the Queen's hand. "Goodbye Serenity. You will always be in my heart." Queen Serenity's arms lowered to her sides, "My love."
When the crystal was high enough, it let out a burst of light and soon a bunch of smaller orbs appeared around it and floated towards Earth. The Daiyoukai watched the display in sadness, knowing they would probably never see them again.
"Be happy." Queen Serenity murmured. "On behalf of the Moon, you will be free again." The Queen let out a weakened grunt, her eyes closing and head dropping to the side. "Perhaps we'll meet again." She breathed her last and the crescent wand dropped from her hand and flipped in front of the two advisers.
"Queen Serenity." The cats exclaimed before the crescent wand glowed and put them in special tubes and a deep sleep, the tubes following the crystal and the orbs to Earth.
When it was silent on the moon once more, the Daiyoukai looked over to where Queen Serenity lay and gave a moment of silence in her memory before Toga went over and gently lifted her body. Together, they buried the Queen, crying over their friends.
Sesshomaru went to his chambers and picked up Titan on his way to his window. Staring out at the moon, he made a promise to himself. He knew that the Earth humans were to blame, somehow. Therefore, he would never trust another human again. He would freeze his heart from ever caring about anything… ever.
1-2-3-4-5
Sesshomaru got up and paced. He knew should have stayed. It never felt right leaving her that night. And now, to find out that she's not only alive, but has already lived multiple lives, pisses him off. Because those damn Powers That Be messed everything up. They not only altered her memories, but gave her someone else to love. Someone who wasn't him. It wasn't right.
He braced his hands on his desk and growled. They had their lives stolen from them and force into a millennium with each other. Well, that's over. It's time for them to take back what was theirs. Their lives… and their love.
He'd be damned if he's let anyone else take her from him.
Not again.
He looked down at the charm again and smirked, "Serenity."
