Reunion and Black Site
Flashback, some years ago
Pidge, real name Katie Holt, who had longer hair, was at her school, going over a lesson as her teacher spoke. "Photons from the visible spectrum are manipulated, creating a quantum storage network. It's the most advanced storage system available."
But Katie said to her teacher. "The Galaxy Garrison is performing tests using DNA storage. That's the same way genetic information is stored in our bodies."
But that only caused the other students to laugh at her, with 1 of them calling her. "Nerd." Making her feel down as tears formed in her eyes.
Later, at her home after school
Katie, sitting at her desk, threw 1 of her books at the door of her room in frustration and anger. And that was when her brother Matt Holt came in with a piece of cake. "Hey, Pidge?"
"I hate it when you call me that." Katie said.
Matt closed the door and brought the cake to her. "Sorry, Katie. Mom told me what happened today. I know what it's like to be the nerd. But you've gotta keep studying hard."
"What's the point?" Katie asked with doubt.
"Well…it was my brain that got me into the Galaxy Garrison." Matt answered.
That brightened up Katie as she gasped and stood up. "You got in? Yes!" She said as she hugged her big brother, making him smile, as he cheered his little sister up.
"I guess it was my brains. Could have been my good looks or my big muscles."
Katie giggled before separating and jumping up and down in excitement. "That's amazing! Oh, man! I'm so excited!" She said before getting her thrown book and putting it on the desk.
"What are you doing?" Matt asked.
"Studying. So I can get into the Galaxy Garrison with you and Dad." Katie answered, making her brother smile lovingly at her.
Flashback end
Katie, sitting alone at the controls of the Castle, sighed while taking off her glasses, which belonged to her brother. "Don't worry, Matt." She told herself. "I will find you and Dad, wherever you guys might be."
That was when Lance arrived at the bridge, seeing Katie a bit saddened while she put back the glasses and typed some calculations. Seeing her like this, looking cute in his eyes, made Lance blush. He felt a bit nervous, having no idea anymore why he decided to see Katie at the bridge. He turned himself and was this close to just leave, but then Katie noticed him at the back.
"Oh, hey Lance." Katie said with a small smile.
Lance froze. Very nervous, he glanced back at her, giving a nervous smile while he waved. "Hey, Pidge!" but realizing that he called her not by her real name again, made him clear his throat. "Uhh... sorry! I mean... Katie! Hey, Katie...!"
Katie raised an eyebrow at him. "Uhm... you okay?"
"Oh yeah! I'm... okay. More than okay!" Lance said nervously, and tried to say. "I was just... I don't know... checking on how you were doing! Hahahaha." He gave a nervous laugh.
"Oh..." Katie formed a small blush before returning to the controls. "I was just... going through some files and..." Then, she sadly sighed. "I was trying to find out if there were any leads that would lead to my Dad... or my brother Matt."
Seeing that Katie was a bit sad made Lance feel bad for her, he, out of nowhere, walked up to her and asked when standing next to her. "Maybe I can help?"
That surprised Katie as she glanced up to Lance, with him looking at her with a small smile. Katie felt she was having butterflies in her belly as Lance looked so... handsome to her, which made her blush very deep. Trying to hide her blush, she went back to the controls and nodded. "Uhh... sure! Grab a seat and we can start."
Lance formed a small smile and sat at his seat, seeing all the info that Katie has gathered so far. But quickly, he got bored as he had no idea what these calculations meant. He rested his head on an elbow and sighed. "Okay, I have no idea what this all means."
"These are encrypted codes." Katie explained while going through more info.
"Yeah, well..." Lance said awkwardly. "That kind of stuff is not really my style, and-" But then he interrupted himself as he saw a little pattern in the calculations. "Hey, wait a minute." Lance then began to type and went through some files.
"What?" Katie asked, surprised. "Found anything?"
Lance gave a nod. "I'll say. These patterns look familiar. There are only a few people in the Xeno-quadrant that are using this." Then he sent a few pictures of the people he knew that were using these codes, showing they were arms dealers.
This made Katie happy and began to type some stuff. Only a minute later, she said enthusiastically. "I got it!" Before she showed the picture of one arms dealer. "This man is the only one that sells nano-thermite titanium-boron. And my brother and the guys on the videotape were using nano-thermite titanium-boron!" Katie rose from her chair and ran over to Lance, hugging him. "Thank you, Lance!" But realizing that she was hugging the guy she was developing a crush for, made her blush out of embarrassment and she quickly broke the hug. "Uhmmm... sorry."
Lance blushed too, but said it was okay. "No, no... it's fine. It's fine."
Both looked away, being a bit awkward and shy about this moment before Lance then suggested. "We should... contact that dealer and go and see him?"
Katie agreed to that, but still felt shy about being around Lance, with him feeling the same being around with Katie.
And so, after a few hours, Katie and Lance were able to make contact with the four-armed arms dealer, pretending they were interested costumers to buy some illegal nano-thermite titanium-boron. As they were ready to leave with their Lions, Haggar asked to join them, wanting to watch her human-sister figure's back and also wanting to keep an eye on Lance to make sure he didn't try anything uncomfortable on her, which Katie accepted.
While flying through space, Katie put on her helmet while Haggar contacted Allura and the others on the castle. "Are you sure you want to do this alone, my love?" Allura asked with some worry.
Shiro shared Allura's worry. "Yeah, none of us like the idea of you, Katie and Lance going alone. You sure you don't need backup?"
Katie answered before Haggar could. "I'm sure, Shiro. The intel that shopkeeper gave me and Lance leads me to believe they could pull out of their location at any time. We need to act fast. This may be my only chance to find my brother."
Lance shared Katie's idea of going alone and not the whole Voltron team. "Katie's right. It's better that only a few of us join Katie to get the intel out of that shopkeeper. Besides, you guys still have plenty to do on Olkarion."
Shiro sees that Lance has a point. "You're right, Lance. Good luck to all three of you."
Hunk then asked. "Hey, while you're out, will you look for some more fluuto beans?"
That made Lance frown as he knew he was going to eat them all again. "Not this time, Hunk."
Katie and Haggar both groaned in annoyance. "We have to go." Haggar said and broke communication before telling the other 2 Paladins. "Okay, Katie and Lance, let's go." And with speed, the Black, Red and Green Lions flew towards their direction.
Sometime later, on a planet in the Xeno-quadrant
Haggar, Katie and Lance, wearing hooded cloaks, walked through the streets, following the directions to a shop that they entered before finding someone. "Be on guard. Arms dealers don't always honor their deals if it isn't in their benefit, or just just the hell of it."
"We gotcha, Haggar." Katie said while holding Haggar's hand.
"Shop's closed." The alien told them.
"We're here looking for directions to a show." Katie said. "We heard it's expensive."
The alien grinned. "So you guys are the ones looking for the nano-thermite titanium-boron? Very expensive. Difficult to procure, I assure you."
"Keep it." Haggar said.
"Wait. You're backing out of our agreement?" He asked with confusion.
"No. Altering it, in your favor. We'll still give you the money, but, in return, you tell us who is in this video and where to find them." Katie countered while showing the dealer the video of Matt.
"Why would I know those people?" The dealer asked.
"Because they used nano-thermite titanium-boron, and you're the only 1 in this section of the galaxy that seems to be selling it." Lance answered.
The dealer got up, having a different idea as he got out 2 swords. "I've had some good luck selling things of value. And I think the Galra would pay a lot to know how you got your hands on that security footage."
But Haggar, knowing that this was the dealer's plan all along, used her power to paralyze him. "I think not, scum. You should've just honored your part of the deal."
"What would we do without you, Haggar?" Katie asked with a smile while giving Haggar a hug before downloading the data they needed. "Thanks for the Intel, asshole." She said to the paralyzed dealer before they left, not knowing that they were being watched. And after they got off the planet, Katie looked at the data. "Te-osh. Looks like we got a positive ID."
"Good. Where is he?" Lance asked.
Katie looked through the data and found Te-osh's last known whereabouts. "Kraydah's moon."
"Then we head there. But be on guard. Galra forces are probably there as well." Haggar told both of them.
"You got it, Haggs." Lance said before sweating when he heard Haggar's voice.
"Don't…ever…call me that…again!" She warned darkly, making Katie chuckle.
Meanwhile
The dealer was being interrogated by an alien bounty hunter, who demanded. "Where did they go?"
"I…I don't know." The dealer answered, only for the bounty hunter to step closer, making him whimper. "They're looking for someone on Kraydah's moon. But you don't wanna mess with the leader. The magic she had…I think she's the leader of the Paladins of Voltron."
The alien chuckled. "100 times better than I expected."
Later, at Kraydah's moon
Katie brought up the image of what was happening on Kraydah's moon and saw that it was under attack by the Galra. Just as Haggar said. "Haggar, you were right! The Galra are here!"
"Let's get down there. Now!" Haggar said before she left them onto the moon, where its inhabitants, who were trying to evacuate, were being blasted at by Galra fighters.
The people were panicking as they tried to get to the evacuation ships when suddenly, the Galra fighters were blasted by the Black Lion before the Blue and Green Lions joined in. "Can it be? The Black, Red and Green Lions?" 1 of the people asked. "What an auspicious occasion!" Before he ran up to the Green and Blue Lions, which landed while the Black Lion stayed up to keep a lookout for any more fighters. Katie and Lance came out as he greeted them. "Greetings. I am Lieutenant Ozar. You both must be 2 of the Paladins."
"Yes, I'm Pidge, and this is Lance. The 1 in the Black Lion is Princess Haggar, our leader." Katie said, introducing herself, lance and Haggar.
"What's going on?" Lance asked with confusion.
"We defeated a wave of Galra forces. More are coming, so we're evacuating." Ozar explained. "But now that you and your friends are here, we might stand a chance. Will the other Lions be here soon?"
"I'm sorry, Voltron isn't coming. But 3 of us should be enough to help." Lance answered.
"We're looking for Te-osh. Is she here?" Katie asked.
"Te-osh is inside the base loading up the last of the medical supplies." Ozar answered while pointing to the evacuation ship on the roof of the base. "We were just about to leave. Your timing is most fortunate."
"Thank you. We'll give you a hand loading up." Katie said, grateful. "I just need to speak with her 1st."
"Thank you, paladin Pidge." Ozar said with a smile.
But as Katie ran to the base, blaster fire was coming down before Haggar contacted them. "Katie! Lance, more Galra fighters are coming!"
"No!" Katie said with worry as Lance jumped out of the way of falling debris while Galra fighters entered the moon, making Haggar fire back as Katie saw the evacuation ship with Te-osh take off to leave. "Te-osh! Wait!" Katie yelled out as she and Lance got up and ran to their Lions.
"Take cover!" Lance told Ozar, who did just that as the 2 paladins used their jets to increase their speed while the Red and Green Lions opened their mouths for their respective pilots before they flew in.
Katie got into her seat and told the Galra fighters. "You're really, really gonna regret that!"
"Damn right they are!" Lance said through communication as they flew after the ship.
Meanwhile, Haggar saw that 1 of the fighters was shooting at the other evacuation ship. "No!" She said before she piloted her Lion and it took the wing of the fighter in his mouth before throwing it away. "Ozar! Is everyone okay?"
"For now, thanks to you. But our ship is damaged." Ozar answered. "We are stranded and cannot help Te-osh. Please, Paladins. You must help her."
"What about you?" Haggar asked with concern.
"We know what it means to fight the Galra. The suppliers on that ship are more important than our lives." Ozar answered, with no concern for his own life as long as the suppliers got away.
But Haggar wouldn't have that. "Everyone aboard, now!"
Meanwhile, in space
Te-osh's supply ship was trying to flee as the Galra fighters followed and shot at it to prevent them from escaping. But that was when Katie and Lance fired back, destroying 2 of them. "Te-osh, we're Paladins of Voltron. We're here to help." Katie said before she, Lance and Haggar, who joined up with them, landed their Lions on the ship.
They got out of their Lions and into the ship before getting to Te-osh, seeing her unconscious. "Oh, man. Is she okay?" Lance asked with concern.
Haggar then sat Te-osh down and used her power to heal her before taking her mask off. "You should be okay, Te-osh." She assured her.
"Thank you, Princess Haggar." Te-osh said with a grateful smile. But as she looked at Katie, she thought she saw someone familiar to her. "Matt?"
"He's my brother. We're trying to find him." Katie explained.
"You look so much like him. It's the eyes." Te-osh said before handing her a transponder device. "Here. Every rebel officer has 1 of these transponders. It's how we found each other in the field. He may not have his anymore, but this is his code." She said before standing up. "Now, I must get these supplies to my people."
"Of course, Te-osh." Haggar said before helping her.
After getting the supplies to Te-osh's people and to their rendezvous point, Ozar contacted the Paladins. "This should be far enough, Princess Haggar. I've sent our coordinates to the rendezvous party, and they will be here shortly. Thank you all for your help. These supplies will save countless lives in the fight against the Galra. I'm also sending you my transponder code. May the Paladins of Voltron always be able to find me, if necessary."
"Thank you, Lieutenant Ozar." Haggar said with a smile. "We will win the war, 1 small or big victory at a time."
The 3 Paladins let the supply ship go and went their own way. And as Katie looked at the picture of her brother in the transponer, she remembered another fond moment with Matt.
Flashback
Katie and Matt were sitting on the roof of their home at nighttime when Matt, who was on his laptop, told his little sister. "I just got a message from Dad."
"A message?" Katie asked with interest.
"Well, actually, it's a quantum frequency."
"But I thought we weren't supposed to talk to Dad. It's a secret mission." Katie said, knowing the rules of the Galaxy Garrison on secret missions.
"What the Garrison doesn't know won't hurt 'em." Matt assured her. "We're using a special two-step encryption. See? Dad and I have this book, right?"
"Totally."
"Well, that's the cipher. We need it to read messages. So the quantum frequency tells us where in the book to look." Matt explained.
"Okay."
"But that's not the best part. Dad and I know a second requirement. The real code. We both memorize additions and subtractions to numbers we send so that even if someone intercepts our messages and has the same book, they still don't know what we're saying." Matt explained further while typing.
"Seems a little low-tech." Katie said, due to being a tech junkie.
"Sure, but you can't rely too much on computers." Matt reminded his sister while putting a finger on his head. "The most powerful processor you have is right here. And it can never be hacked."
Katie smiled at the good advice her brother gave her before asking about the message. "Well, what's it say?"
Matt looked at the message and answered. "It says, bedtime is still 10, even if I'm in space."
Katie groaned in annoyance, like any young person would at the age of not liking going to bed early. "10?"
But Matt assured her. "Just like the Garrison, what Dad doesn't know won't hurt him."
Flashback end
An hour later
Katie, Lance and Haggar flew with their lions into an unstable solar system with large rings of gas and meteorites, and a few planets still in development.
Lance checked the sensors of his Red Lion, finding there was no life detected on any object in this system. "Scanners show no life forms anywhere in this system."
Haggar then stated. "Yes. This is the solar system in its early stages of development." Then she spoke with some worry. "I got a bad feeling about this, Katie. Are you sure that your brother is here?" The Black Paladin asked the Green Paladin/human-sister figure through communications.
Katie nodded as he looked at her brother's transponder. "Matt's signal is getting stronger. He must be around here somewhere." Then, her Lion locked on the planet where the signal came from. "There! Matt's signal is coming from that planet!"
Lance nodded and checked his scanners. "You're right." But then he got confused. "But, there's nothing on that planet. The only thing is..." But reading what was in that place, made Lance, Haggar and Katie look in shock.
"Oh no..." Katie said, being confused. "But this... this can't be right."
The Green Lion then flew even faster, with the Red and Black Lion barely able to keep up with her as they entered the small atmosphere of the dead planet, with thousands of rocks floating in the air, probably caused by the disrupted planet's magnetic field. The Green, Black and Red Lion all landed on the planet's surface, before a large statue showing all kinds of alien species, seemingly all resistance fighters who fought for freedom against the Galra.
Katie's heart rate increased as she, together with Haggar and Lance approached the memorial, standing before it and Haggar began to see what this was. It was a graveyard. She placed her hand on Katie's shoulder. "Katie..."
Lance too began to have a bad feeling about this and spoke his worry to Katie. "Listen, Katie... I..." But words failed him, not wanting to make the girl he likes upset.
Katie begged in her mind this not to be true as she approached where words were written in an alien language. 'Please... don't let it be true...!'
With her helmet, the words were translated into English, showing on her helmet screen what it all meant while an electronic voice said. "In honor of the 127,098 brave warriors that stood against tyranny. The quest for freedom is won through sacrifice."
Katie's heart froze. "No..." And immediately she ran through the memorial while tears began to form in her eyes. "No! Please, no!"
"Katie, wait!" Lance ran after her with Haggar following.
Katie then stopped, looking at an endless field of... graves, which shocked her to the core. "No...! No, Matt you can't be!" She ran further, with the transponder in her hand, while flashbacks of her brother and her family rushed through her mind, with tears falling from her eyes. The transponder then said she was standing right before where the signal came from... right in front of a grave. Katie fell to her knees. "No...! Matt!"
And as it began to rain, Lance and Haggar made it to where Katie was, both carefully approaching her. "I am so sorry for you, Katie..." Haggar softly said, while Lance put his hand on Katie's shoulder.
Katie's helmet translated what was on the grave. "Mathiew Holt. 0-0-1-0-0-5..."
Katie began to sob. "I'm so sorry. I was too late." Before she then yelled her lungs out. "NOOOOOOOOO!"
Haggar fell on her knees and hugged Katie, comforting her, with Lance doing the same. "I'm sorry for you, Katie..." Lance said, feeling sorry that after everything she'd done to find her brother, to only shockingly discover that he was dead all this time.
Katie couldn't believe that after all her efforts, she'd failed. She held both Lance and Haggar while she sobbed. But as she looked at her brother's date of birth, she looked surprised that it was wrong. "Wait, what? Matt's birthday is wrong."
Lance looked at her confused. "Wrong? What does that supposed to mean?"
Katie then gasped, realizing that these numbers weren't Matt's birthday... but coordinates. "A quantum frequency. It's a message!"
Haggar too now was confused. "Katie, what are you talking about?"
Katie rose up, trying to think. "But what... what's the second encryption item?" Katie then remembered. "I have the book!" Before she took her tablet and began typing something in.
Lance wanted to know what this was all about. "Katie, talk to us. What the heck are you all saying-"
"Please!" Katie told Lance. "Let me think for a moment." Before she then typed several numbers on her tablet. "Now, factor in Dad and Matt's additions and subtractions..." And when she was finished, Matt's date of birth was indeed wrong, and was showing coordinates.
Lance and Haggar looked surprised. "No way..." Lance said, being amazed.
Katie began to smile brightly with hope. "He's alive!" Before Lance, Haggar and Katie went back to their lions and flew away, not knowing that they were being followed by the same bounty hunter.
Along the way, Katie explained how she managed to decipher Matt's true whereabouts. "So, let me get this straight. All this time; you, your brother and your father developed this encrypted message system so you guys could still communicate, even when Matt and your father were off-world, without the Garrison's knowledge?" Lance asked, being somewhat impressed.
"That's right, Lance." Katie confirmed.
Lance gave a small chuckle and said with a dreamy voice. "Man, Pidge... you're really cute when you're so smart."
However, that little comment made Katie blush deep red.
Realizing what Lance had suddenly said, made him gasp before he too blush very deep. "Uuuuh..."
Haggar could actually sense how Katie and Lance deep down really began to like each other, which made her form a smile, being happy for them. But knowing that they should focus, she said. "Okay, you two keep that for later. We still have to find Matt."
That made Katie and Lance brought back to reality. "Right!" They both said simultaneously.
Haggar then picked up something on her scanners. "Guys, we have 2 Galra cruisers and even more nearby. But don't worry, I have a solution." She said before she used her powers to make the Black, Red and Green Lions invisible.
"Oh, thank God for you, Haggar. I don't know what we'd do without you." Katie praised her Altean sister figure. "We're coming, Matt."
The 3 Lions then got past the Galra fleet and got to the coordinates Matt had left on a desert asteroid, but didn't see anything. "There doesn't seem to be anyone or anything here." Lance said.
"Maybe. But we must keep looking." Haggar said before they landed and she made the Lions visible again before they exited them and went through a tunnel, with Haggar holding Katie protectively in her arms and Lance behind as they used their helmet lights to see through the dark tunnel before they got to the end. "It looks like a dead end, Katie."
But Katie had a hunch and picked up a rock before dropping it, watching as it strangely dropped. "Gravity?"
"How's that possible? There's no gravity in outer space." Lance wondered.
Haggar came to a conclusion. "Because something's generating gravity nearby."
Katie got out her scanner device and scanned the area before it landed on a secret door that opened when she touched it. They went inside and Katie noticed the equipment. "This must be some kind of spy facility."
But then, Haggar sensed a presence behind them and quickly used her telekinesis power to restrain him. "No 1 sneaks up on me or Katie without getting themselves seriously hurt. Now I will ask you just 1 question, and only 1 time: where is Matt Holt?!"
Katie, getting a feeling in her heart, told Haggar. "Haggar, wait! I think I know who this…is." She said before slowly taking off his mask to reveal…her long lost brother Matt.
Matt was surprised and shocked that he was seeing his sister's face after so long. "Pidge?"
"Matt." Katie said as tears formed in her eyes before Haggar put him down gently and the reunited siblings shared a hug. "Oh, my gosh! Ever since the Kerberos mission, they said you were dead, but I knew in my heart that you weren't!"
"I can't believe you found me. It doesn't seem possible." Matt said as he put his hands on his sister's helmet.
"The thought of you and Dad kept me going, inspired me to do the impossible." Katie explained.
"Okay, but seriously, how'd you get this far into space?" Matt asked curiously.
"Well, it's a long story, but I had help from them." Katie answered while showing her brother Haggar and Lance. "This is Haggar, a female Altean who's become very…close to me, along with another female Altean. And this is Lance. Is there any chance you've heard of Voltron?"
"Of course I've heard of Voltron." Matt answered.
"Well, me and Lance are 2 of the Paladins, and Haggar is the black paladin our leader." Katie answ while looking away a bit.
"It's true, Matt." Haggar said with a smile. "And your sister has done great things for the universe, and has proven herself worthy of being a paladin of Voltron time and time again."
Matt couldn't believe it. "No! No way! You're a Paladin of Voltron? That's so awesome!" He said as he picked his little sister up and spinned her around.
But that was when the alien bounty hunter interrupted them. "What a touching reunion."
"Who the hell are you?" Lance asked while getting out his laser gun.
"Who I am is not important. I am here to collect a bounty on Matthew Holt." The bounty hunter answered. "But the Black, Red and Green Lions, and Zarkon's former high priestess? What a day."
"Stand back, Pidge/Matt." The reunited siblings said together before looking at each other with a confused look before they smiled.
"Let's show this asshole what the Holts are made of." Katie said.
"Looks to me like you're made of meat, just like everyone else!" The bounty hunter said with overconfidence as he removed his cloak and revealed 2 electric whips before rushing to them for an attack.
The siblings and Lance tried to fight back, with Katie using her grapple gun, only to get electrocuted before Matt tried attacking with his staff, only for the bounty hunter to spin his whips, electrocuting him as well. Lance tried shooting him but he easily blocked it with his whips before jumping into the air, getting behind Lance and kicking him into Katie.
"You're all worth more to me alive, but I'll take something over nothing." The bounty hunter said before wrapping his whips around Matt planning to electrify him to death!
But then, Haggar used her telekinesis power to lift the bounty hunter into the air, squeezing his whips until they were broken beyond any repair. "You seem to have forgotten about the biggest threat, bounty hunter: me. But you like electrocuting people, do you? Let's see how you, what is the earth phrase? Oh yeah, like a taste of your own medicine." She said, using an Earth phrase Katie had taught her and Allura before using her power to electrocute him before he was passed out but not dead and threw him to the floor.
Katie then ran up to Haggar and embraced her in a hug before Haggar hugged her back. "Thanks, Haggar."
"You're welcome, Katie." Haggar said with a smile.
"I can't believe it. I have the coolest sister in the entire galaxy. And Lance, that laser gun of yours is so cool. And Haggar, that was soooo…AWESOME!" Matt said with excitement. "Now, all we have to do is find Dad." He said before he saw his glasses on her sister's face after she took her helmet off. "You kept the glasses?"
"Of course I did." Katie answered with a smile.
Flashback
Matt and Katie, who was wearing a beautiful dress, stood in front of the Garrison building, as this was Matt's 1st day. "All right, Katie."
"No, call me Pidge." Katie said with a smile, wanting her brother to call her the nickname he had for her. "I'm gonna miss that. And you."
"I'm gonna miss you, too. But, you know, space! I'm so excited!" Matt said while raising his right arm to show it.
"I know! But I can't believe I have to go through middle school without you." Pidge said with a bit of sadness.
But Matt assured her. "You can talk to me anytime."
That confused Katie. "I thought I wasn't allowed to bother you guys on your mission."
"Of course, you're not. But you know the code." Matt whispered with a wink. "What the Garrison doesn't know…" Making Katie chuckle before he said. "Hey, check this out." He said before giving her his glasses.
Katie was confused. "Don't you need these?"
"Not anymore. The Garrison fixed my eyes. I look way cooler now, yeah?"
"No." Katie said with humor before they shared a laugh.
"I'll be back soon." Matt assured his little sister.
"You better, or I'm coming up to space and getting you." Katie said before playfully pushing her brother down before putting on the glasses that were now hers with a determined smile to be with her family in space 1 day.
Flashback end
When leaving Matt's outpost, Katie asked Lance. "You... really think I'm cute?"
Lance blushed as he stopped and tried to say. "Well, I... uhm... yeah, you're... cute... and smart and... amazing."
Katie blushed while she smiled, looking away. "You're not so bad either..."
Both were quiet for a moment. "Would you go out with me?" Both asked each other simultaneously, making them look surprised, before they chuckled.
Katie gave a nod. "Sure... maybe when we're back on Olkarian."
Lance formed a small smile. "Looking forward to it... Katie."
Meanwhile, on Zarkon's ship
Inside Dark Haggar's room, the evil clone/counterpart of Haggar was meditating with her hood down. Sitting while floating in midair, a black/red aura formed around her. Softly, she spoke to the one she was seemingly contacting in his dream. "Lotor. Lotor..."
Meanwhile, on Lotor's ship
Prince Lotor was sleeping inside his quarters. He began to groan as he began to dream while Dark Haggar's soft voice spoke in his head. "Lotor. Lotor..."
In Lotor's dream
Lotor was walking on the landscape of an enchanting and beautiful planet.
The Galra/Altean hybrid looked with some astonishment as he'd never seen a beautiful place like this before, forgetting his whole training that this was all a dream as it felt so... real "I've... never seen such a place before."
"Lotor... Lotor…" The soft and sweet voice echoed, coming from a cave.
Curious, the Galra prince entered the cave, which was lit by blue/pinkish torches on the walls. Going through the cave, he saw a ray of light coming from the end of the tunnel. As Lotor came out, he gasped as he found himself in the most beautiful place he could imagine; a large pond, surrounded by the most beautiful trees and flowers. But what his eyes truly caught his attention... was a fare Altean woman with long black hair, standing at the edge of the pond, wearing a long white transparent dress. She was standing with her back to Lotor. And because of her transparent dress, Lotor could clearly see her butt cheeks.
Slowly... the Altean woman turned herself, glancing at Lotor, forming a sweet and lovely smile. Her transparent dress clearly showed her gorgeous breasts and pussy was clearly shown. Lotor instantly recognized those red marks on her cheeks, seeing it was Haggar's clone, Dark Haggar. However... Lotor was enchanted by her beauty... her smile... her eyes... her sexy body... Lotor felt he'd skipped a heartbeat.
Lotor slowly walked over to her, standing before her. Dark Haggar took a few steps and stood now really close in front of Lotor, looking at him with a lovely smile. Lotor formed a small smile of his own. He tried to say something, but words failed him.
Slowly, Dark Haggar moved her hands over his arms, to his shoulder, till she held his cheeks, saying. "An emperor like you... should have the best woman at his side. I've had my eyes on you from the very start, Lotor. And I know... when I see someone who's destined for greatness." Before she softly took his hands, placing them on her thighs. "You deserve a woman so powerful as beautiful... to be your spouse... your consort..." Then she made him move his hands up, touching her breasts. "The woman who would give birth to your sons and daughters..." Making him touch her, she touched with her one hand to his hardened dick. "With both our powers combined... becoming one flesh... no one would stand in our way,"
Lotor was now completely enchanted by what Dark Haggar offered him. As he had many things on his mind for his future rule of the universe, he never had thought of carrying on his bloodline. And now that this woman... this clone of Zarkon's former high priestess was so interested in him, Lotor saw the potential in having her as his spouse, as their offspring would become eternal rulers of the Galra-Empire. Lotor could no longer resist her temptations. He slowly moved the dress down, showing her nakedness. "Dark Haggar... I will make you mine... and mine alone..."
Dark Haggar formed a lustful smile as she placed her arms around his neck and both shared a passionate kiss before she softly spoke in his ear. "Then take me now, Lotor... show me... how much you want me."
Giving in to his lustful desires, Lotor grabbed Dark Haggar passionately tongue kissed her while both fell on the ground, where they would have very passionate sex.
Back in the real universe, with Dark Haggar
The evil counterpart opened her eyes as she slowly dropped on the ground, forming an evil smile as her glowing eyes became normal as she felt that her plan on Lotor was beginning to work. "Yes, Lotor. Give in to your blindness of lust, desires for my body."
However, she sensed that Lotor had not fully committed yet to her, as she needed something that would make him snap that he can't live without her. And Dark Haggar already had something for that in mind, as she could sense that Zarkon was about to recover and get new armor to remain alive and strong.
Sensing that one of her druids was about to enter, Dark Haggar called to the door "Enter."
The druid entered her chamber, telling Dark Haggar. "My goddess, you're needed."
Putting the hood over her head, Dark Haggar followed the druid to the torture chamber. "Excellent."
A bit later, in the torture chamber
The leader of the Galra base that Lotor had destroyed was being tortured for information. "Aaaaaaahhh!" He screamed in pain as Dark Haggar and the other druid entered.
"Why hide the identity of those who attacked your base?" Another druid asked him. "Give us the information."
"I'm telling you, it must have been Lotor." He answered, only to get electrocuted again.
"He appears to have no ability to recall what happened." The druid beside Dark Haggar told her.
But Haggar didn't believe that. "No 1 can completely wipe a memory away. There are always remnants deep within to claw out." She said before walking up to him and asking him while reading his mind, seeing that this officer was willing to stain Lotor's reputation no matter what. "Why would prince Lotor attack a base when he could just walk in and take whatever he desires?"
"I don't know." He answered, only to get electrocuted again.
"Prince Lotor is the 1 who banished him to the Ulippa system. He must be trying to stain Lotor's reputation." The druid suggested.
"Exactly." She said before ripping into his chest and tearing his heart out, killing him, as he was of no use. "But no more." Before making her way out of the room.
Meanwhile, on Olkarion
As the castle landed and Coran, having escorted more refugees to the planet, Allura asked him. "Is that the last of them, Coran?"
"Indeed. A few hundred more souls looking for a new home." He answered.
"A few hundred more soldiers in the fight against the Galra." Shiro added.
They then looked up and saw that the Black, Red and Green Lions had returned. "Hey, Pidge, Lance and Haggar are back!" Hunk happily said.
The 3 Lions landed and they all, including Allura's and Haggar's pet mice ran to them before the Lions mouths opened and their respective pilots came out, with Matt. Katie chuckled as she picked up 1 of the mice as the other 3 claimed on Haggar, who petted them. "Hey, everybody. This is my brother Matt."
"Hey, everybody." Matt greeted them.
Katie then introduced her brother to the others. "Matt, this is Hunk and Coran."
"Hey." Hunk said.
"Pleasure." Said Coran.
"And this is princess Allura of Altea." Katie introduced her other Altean sister figure.
And when Matt saw the princess, he became enchanted by Allura's beauty. "Whoa!"
"It's so wonderful to finally meet you, Matt. Katie's told us so much about you." Allura happily greeted.
Matt felt his heart beat as he gasped. "Whoa! Oh, my goodness! You are so beautiful! It is my honor to meet you, Princess."
But then, Matt was told by Haggar telepathically, who warned him threateningly. "I wouldn't try anything stupid or lustful with her if I were you, Matt. Allura is long spoken for…by me."
Allura then added. "I'd listen to her, Matt. I've never been into men, and the only true love I've ever had is that very beautiful and enchanting Altean woman who I love with everything that I am and vice versa. That's why she's the princess of Altea as well, because she and I are spiritually married."
Matt, frightened by their warnings, only thought. "Of course, of course. I…apologize for that. Hahahaha."
"Good." Allura and Haggar said together mentally.
But then, they cleared the way for Matt to see Shiro and he was surprised at seeing him. "Shiro?" He asked while running up to him. "It's so good to see you, um, sir."
Shrio hugged him a bit before saying. "Pidge never gave up on finding you."
"Yeah." Matt said while looking at his little sister. "She can be pretty stubborn at times."
"And I want you to know that all of us will help you find your father." Shiro assured him.
"Thanks."
Katie then said while gesturing to the castle. "Matt, this is the castle of Lions."
Matt was amazed to see the ship. "Whoa. Nice ship."
"Let me take you on a tour." Katie said before dragging her brother to follow her.
Lance allowed Katie to show her brother the castle while he began to think about where he could go on his date with Katie, which Haggar could sense. "So, you really want to know where you can take Katie for a 1st date?" She asked.
"Uh, yeah. And…I want it to be special and where we won't be attacked by any Galra forces." Lance answered.
Haggar smiled and felt this could be good for Katie, especially after she'd finally found her brother. So, she placed her right hand on his head and showed him the place where she and Allura had their first date, the restaurants, places for games and even the special place at the park where the Altean princesses had their 1st romantic kiss in the moonlight. "So, Lance, what do you think?" She asked after it was over.
Lance was extremely grateful that Haggar showed that to him as it would make a perfect place for their first date. "It's perfect for our 1st date! Thanks, Haggar! You're the best!"
Meanwhile, with Zarkon
With a whole new power suit, which covered his whole body and charged with Dark Haggar's Quintessence, Zarkon was now fully restored as his eyes glowed dark purple from his mask. And later, now sitting again on his throne, Zarkon summoned his High Priestess to him.
Dark Haggar walked into the throne room, bowing before Zarkon and stated. "I am pleased to see you back on your throne again, sire. But, I'm afraid that during your 'slumber' your son, Lotor has not taken his duties as heir to your empire well as he should have. Vast stretches of territory have fallen to Voltron and a growing group of insurgents."
Zarkon glared at the clone he'd created from his former High Priestess. "Your decision to place him on the throne was ill-advised, Dark Haggar. Among other things,"
Dark Haggar looked at Zarkon, faking she was showing some fear. 'Ah, so you remember. Excellent, for me.' ThenZarkon pressed a button, making the floor that Dark Haggar was standing on glow with dark purple Quintessence, which sent strange rays of dark energy to her, which seemed to hurt her. "No! AAAAAAARGH!" Before Dark Haggar fell on the floor.
Zarkon rose from his throne, glaring at her. "Did you think I had forgotten how you dared to speak against my plans to destroy Voltron?" He asked before mechanical arms then grabbed Dark Haggar, raising her up. "Do not forget that it was I who created you, Dark Haggar." The 2 mechanical arms then suddenly revealed injection needles, which penetrated Dark Haggar's arms and sended some kind of green liquid inside her body, which began to hurt her from the inside!
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!" Dark Haggar yelled out in pain. After a minute of this inner torture, the mechanical arms released Dark Haggar, making her fall on the floor while 2 Druids appeared.
As the Druids lifted her up, Zarkon warned her as he grabbed her face. "This is what happens when you fall out of line, my High Priestess. I gave you life, but I can also take it from you. Remember that next time when you speak out. Now, it is time to relieve my waywards son of his duties." Before he then ordered the Druids. "Take her away."
The Druids gave a nod and dragged Dark Haggar out of the throne room. But as soon as they'd left, the druids released Dark Haggar while a black/red aura glowed around her, which vanished all the outer and inner wounds, making her look like nothing had harmed her. She smirked evilly as she and her followers left. "Zarkon is a fool not to realize what I am capable of. Especially now that I have the perfect pawn in mind for my ultimate plan to rule this universe and many others."
Meanwhile
Katie showed Matt the bridge of the castle. "This is where I sit."
"Awesome!" Matt said while impressed.
"And this opens up, and there's a zip line that takes me to a speeder, and that loads into my Lion." Then she showed him the spot where her Altean sister figures stood. "And this is where Allura and Haggar stand. And these little glowy pillars rise up, and then they use Altean magic that link them to that crystal, and the crystal powers the ship, and then they use this thing called a teludav to create wormholes!" Then the training room. "This is our training has invisible walls and you can fight robots!" Then she showed him their cow.
"How did you get–" Matt tried to ask before his sister dragged him along again.
Katie then showed him the kitchen. "This is our kitchen. Here's where the food goo comes out."
Then Katie showed her brother everything else before stopping at the lounge. "And this is the lounge, you know, where we just hang. Just Voltron Paladins hanging out."
But then Hunk called out as he entered. "Hey, hey! I made celebratory milkshakes for you both!" Before serving them. "Just a little welcome gift from me and Kaltenecker. No big deal. And fun fact about Alteans, they don't get brain freeze. Haggar, Allura and Coran just totally hoovered their shakes in 1 slurp. Uh…I've never seen anything like it before." Then he asked Matt. "So, like, what have you been doing since you got busted out of Galra prison?"
"I've been stationed at a listening outpost, monitoring Galra radio chatter." Matt answered after taking a slurp of his milkshake.
"Are you serious? Then you should totally check out the Galra finder Pidge built. We used it to track down a Galra fleet and save a planet." Hunk said before first bumping with Katie.
"Hunk made the locator that led us to the 1st Voltron Lion, and we just built an upgraded version to track Lotor." Katie added.
Matt looked with a proud smile to his little sister. "Wow, Pidge. Dad would be so proud if he could see what you've done here." Making Katie form a smile.
That was when Lance came inside the lounge, rubbing his head with a nearly finished milkshake in his hand. "Urgh. Brain freeze." Before he walked up to Katie and asked her. "Hey. You got a minute?"
Katie nodded as she rose up. "Sure."
As Katie and Lance left the lounge, Hunk raised an eyebrow, not knowing what was going on between them. "What's up with them lately? They've been so... nice to each other."
Matt gave a shrug, but already knew what was going on between his little sister and Lance.
Around the corner, Lance and Katie stopped, with Lance telling. "Hey, listen... I found this place where we could... have our date together."
Katie began to blush, but asked with curiosity. "What did you have in mind?"
"Well... there is this... far away planet, kinda out of reach of control of the Galra. I heard it has some great restaurants, romantic parks and some other great things as well."
Katie thought for a moment. She was intrigued with what Lance had in mind and so, she gave a nod. "Sounds good to me." Then she blushed before suggesting. "Maybe we can... I don't know... go tonight?"
"That's what I was thinking!" Lance said enthusiastically, though he now felt embarrassed for yelling like that. "Uhh... sorry."
Katie chuckled. "That's okay." Before she held his hand for a moment. "I'll see you in the hangar at 6PM." Then she then left, seemingly going to her quarters to get herself prepared. Lance, though forming a dreamy smile, walked away too, going to his own quarters to get ready.
Some hours later
When it was around 5:30PM, Lance was waiting in the hangar for Katie to show up. He was wearing jeans and a black shirt. Then, Katie entered the hangar as well. Lance looked at her, astounded by what she was wearing, seeing Katie wearing a green Altean dress that has golden sparks.
"You like the dress?" Katie asked.
Lance nodded. "Yeah! You... you look amazing."
Katie blushed. "Thanks." Then she asked. "So, how are we going to get to that planet you suggested? We can't really take the Lions if we want to avoid any attention, right?"
Just as Lance was about to answer, Haggar appeared, telling them. "You can take the Altean royal shuttle nearby. It's the same one that Allura and I used for our date." As she pointed to the Altean shuttle in the other part of the hangar.
Katie thanked her and gave Haggar a hug, which she returned and as Katie entered the shuttle after breaking the hug, Lance whispered to Haggar. "Hey, uhm... thanks for suggesting that place, when you sended those images into my mind."
"No problem, Lance." Haggar said with a shrug while she smiled, but then told him with a bit of seriousness. "But remember; don't do anything that would break Katie's heart, understand?"
Lance nodded as he raised his hand. "Understood, loud and clear."
Haggar smiled again, sensing that Lance would keep his word. "Good. Have fun you two." And then left the hangar.
Lance then entered the shuttle and started the engines. They flew out of the castle's hangar and Lance pressed a button, which created a wormhole and flew into it.
After some minutes, the shuttle left the wormhole, and a beautiful planet was in sight. As they began to land, Katie looked amazed at how this place looked. "Wow... this place is amazing."
Lance nodded. And when exiting the shuttle, Lance offered his arm to Katie, giving a flirty smile. "Shall we, 'my lady'?"
Katie giggled while she blushed and took his arm. "Lead the way, 'my good sir'."
And for the next few hours, Lance and Katie were enjoying themselves at the restaurant, talking about their Time with the Garrison back on Earth and their previous adventures, seeing how much things have changed since then. Then they began to dance as the band played a romantic song before later going for a walk in the park, where they watched the beautiful sunset and they then kissed, showing that they were now officially a couple.
They then later returned with their shuttle to the castle, with Katie telling Allura and Haggar about her date with Lance and how she enjoyed herself, and Hunk being surprised to learn that Katie and Lance were now together, but he and the others supported them anyway.
Meanwhile, on Lotor's ship
While Lotor was overseeing the construction of the second Sincline ship together with Ezor, Zethrid and Narti, the son of Zarkon was pleased with the progress. However, with the dream he had lately about Dark Haggar, offering to join forces and become his spouse, Lotor sighed while he rubbed his forehead as he couldn't get the woman out of his mind.
Ezor had noticed Lotor's problem, with Ezor asking. "Hey, you okay, Lotor?"
Lotor assured his general. "Yeah, I'm... fine. I just had trouble sleeping. That's all."
Acxa then came and told him. "My lord, we just received a message from the central command. Emperor Zarkon requires your presence immediately."
Lotor gave a nod. "Very well. Prepare a ship."
Ezor became a bit worried. "Do you think he's onto us?"
"No." Lotor said confidently. "My father is simply ready to return to the throne. He can have it. Our plans have not changed." He then glanced at Narti. "Narti, come with me." The blind Galra hybrid gave a nod and followed Lotor to his shuttle. "The rest of you, continue to oversee construction. I will return shortly"
After Lotor had left with Narti, Ezor told Acxa. "I never seen him troubled like this. Even if he had a rough night."
Ezor nodded, having noticed too that something was bothering Lotor deep down. "Me neither. Best hope it's not too serious.
Later, on Zarkon's ship
Once Lotor had landed with his fighter together with Narti, they walked out of the hangar, where they were met with Dark Haggar. Upon seeing the clone of Haggar, Lotor felt the same feeling he had for her in his dream.
Dark Haggar gave him a small smile. "Welcome, Prince Lotor. Please, follow me."
But as Lotor and Narti followed Dark Haggar to the throne room, Lotor noticed some bruises on Dark Haggar's hands and face, as he'd trained himself to see injuries that the victim tried to hide. Lotor wondered what could have caused those wounds.
Upon entering the throne room, while Narti waited outside, Lotor stood before his father while Dark Haggar stood next to the Galran emperor before Lotor bowed to him. "Father, it gives me such pleasure that you've made a full recovery. You look stronger than I've ever-"
"Silence!" Zarkon yelled to his son. "I did not bring you here to waste time with your flattery."
Lotor gave a nod. "Of course. Forgive me, father."
Zarkon then told his son. "You are relieved of your position effective immediately."
Lotor was shocked that his father strips away his power over the empire and begged him to reconsider as he stood up. "Lord, I beg you, do not discard me. Let me stay by your side."
"Your short reign will be regarded as a black spot on the Galra Empire for years to come."
Lotor admitted he made some mistakes during his short reign. "Of course, my efforts at ruling the universe seem feeble beside your inestimable accomplishments. But, perhaps, if you were to train me, I could learn."
But Zarkon answered coldly. "You are no longer needed."
Lotor gave a short glance at Dark Haggar, who appeared to tell something to Zarkon but was feeling anxious to speak out, which made Lotor suspicious.
Zarkon then ordered Dark Haggar. "Escort my failure of a son out, my High Priestess."
Dark Haggar gave a nod. "Yes, sire." And exited the throne room with Lotor following her, followed by Narti
In the hallway before the hangar, Lotor wanted to know where Dark Haggar got her wounds. So he stopped her in her tracks. Surprised, Dark Haggar looked at him. "What's the problem, Prince Lotor?"
Lotor took her left arm and removed the sleeve, revealing some bruises and cuts, confirming his suspicion. "Who did this to you?" He asked with sympathy but also anger for whoever did this to her.
Dark Haggar, showing some fear, took away her arm and looked away. "It was just... an accident. Nothing more."
Lotor however didn't buy that. "Look, I am not a fool. I know that these kinds of wounds come from physical abuse." But Dark Haggar didn't answer, showing fear.
Lotor however ensured her. "Look, you have nothing to fear, Dark Haggar. You can trust me."
Dark Haggar gave a few sobs as she told him. "It... it was your father, Emperor Zarkon who did this to me."
That made Lotor look surprised and angry. "My... father?!"
Dark Haggar gave a nod. "His way of punishment for... speaking out against him when Voltron attacked, putting your father into a coma. I told him that his obsession with the Black Lion was blinding him from achieving victory." She then removed her other sleeve, showing more cuts and bruises.
Lotor then somehow... was feeling more hatred for his father, for hurting the woman he began to have feelings for. Lotor then held his hands on her shoulders, making her look at him with her teary eyes. He then embraced her into a hug, comforting her.
When Dark Haggar returned the hug, she could sense a powerful energy in him, something ancient. She mentally asked herself. 'What kind of power is this?' She then glanced at Narti while she smirked evilly. 'I think I should keep a closer eye on Lotor.' Then she then caused a mind controlling spell on Narti, so she could see what the Galra hybrid would see. Dark Haggar then broke the hug, pretending to be scared as she warned Lotor. "You must be careful, Lotor. When your father has no use of you, he will discard you in the most unimaginable way."
That made Lotor form a smirk and ensured her. "My father is a fool. It takes more for him to discard me for good." Then he told her, while giving her a small transmitter. "Take this. If you ever need any protection... you can contact me with this."
Dark Haggar formed a small smile "Thank you." Lotor and Narti then left, boarding Lotor's fighter. And when the ship had left, Dark Haggar smirked while removing all the cuts and bruises from her arms. She chuckled, seeing that her first step of her plan to control and manipulate Lotor was working.
A bit later, in Lotor's fighter
Lotor asked Narti. "Run the protocol to search for trackers."
Narti did that, but her screen showed no bugs on the ship.
Lotor however became suspicious, especially after Dark Haggar warned him about Zarkon. "Transpose the dynamics and run that protocol again."
Narti pressed a few more buttons, using the scanners, and found a bug below one of the wings of the fighter.
Lotor frowned. "You think you can fool me, father? Destroy the bug."
Narti activated the ship's electromagnetic field, which destroyed the bug.
But along the way, Lotor still couldn't keep his mind off of Dark Haggar. With the thought of his father torturing Dark Haggar, made him furious. 'Father... I swear I will make you suffer for what you've done with her!' He mentally cursed his father.
Meanwhile
Coran, Allura and Haggar, who loved the milkshakes so much, asked Lance for help. "Excuse us, Lance. But we were wondering if you could help us make another milkshake. We've tried to negotiate some on our own, but we've run into a little bit of difficulty with Kaltenecker." Coran asked.
"Sure." Lance answered before taking them to the cow and explaining to them. "Well, 1st off, Kaltenecker is a girl."
"Oh! I see.* Allura said.
"I didn't know that. It's really hard to tell, actually." Haggar added.
"My apologies, madame." Coran added apologetically.
"Right, and she's a cow, so she can't understand you." Lance told them.
"Okay, communication issues."
"Also, she doesn't make milkshakes. She has to be milked." Lance explained further before showing them how as he milked Kaltenecker, which caused all 3 Alteans to freak out in shock before they left the area when Lance filled the bucket and offered them more milk.
Meanwhile
Lotor and Nartihad returned to his ship and Ezor asked. "How'd it go? Are you fired?"
Lotor, smiling, answered. "I'm afraid I was relieved of my command, yes."
"The 2nd ship is complete and ready for testing." Acxa informed him. "The sentries are just making some final adjustments."
"Excellent." Lotor said, pleased.
"60% of the comet's material has been used in the production of the 1st 2 ships, my lord. We will have more than enough for the creation of the 3rd."
"Well done, Acxa."
Meanwhile, on Zarkon's ship
Dark Haggar, seeing everything through Narti, was pleased and surprised at this new development. 'So, Lotor's been building ships from a trans-reality comet? He's far more useful to me than I thought. And…it'll be perfect when he and I consummate and fuck like crazy for my ultimate goal, before I dispose of him and his weak, incompetent fool of a father.' She thought with an insane smile before feeling something else, making her search the minds of Lotor's soldiers, 1 of which was a secret spy of Zarkon, warning the emperor of what his son had been doing,
as she saw on the screen because looking at, infuriated Zarkon and almost all war ships and some newly built dreadnoughts to go and destroy Lotor. "NO!" Dark Haggar growled, knowing her plans could not be stopped before she mentally contacted Lotor.
Meanwhile
Lotor suddenly heard Dark Haggar's voice in his head. "Lotor! Lotor, please, answer me."
Lotor, keeping calm, but surprised, answered. "Dark Haggar! What is it?"
"It's that fool Zarkon. He's had 2 spies in your ranks." Dark Haggarinformed her pawn.
"Spies? What spies?!" Lotor demanded.
"The 1st of them is 1 of your officers, who's just informed Zarkon of what you've been doing. And as such, he's sent the fleet to destroy you. And the other 1…is your general… Narti, who the druids are using to see everything you're doing." Haggarrevealed, though lying about Narti.
Lotor, due to his growing feelings for the insane madwoman, then drew his sword and killed Narti with 1 slash right in front of the other generals, much to their surprise and shock before he ordered them. "Prepare the Sincline ships to takeoff. Load the comet into mine. We're leaving." But as he walked away, he saw that they were still looking at the now dead Narti. "DID YOU IMBECILES HEAR ME?! DO AS YOU'RE TOLD, NOW!" Making them snap out of it before they reluctantly did just that, with Lotor finding and killing the spy officer, thanks to Dark Haggar pointing him out to him.
Meanwhile
After showing her brother the algorithm she and Hunk had worked on for finding Galra fleets, Matt was very impressed. "This is a pretty sweet algorithm for locating Galra targets within a statistically acceptable margin of error. And I love that you color-coded it, because what are we, animals?" He asked, making the siblings share a laugh.
"Ugh, you 2 are definitely related." An annoyed Hunk said while eating again.
"Hunk, using the Fraunhofer lines to track Voltron, and then the comet…I mean, that's genius." Matt said to him.
"Oh, well, yeah, I try." Hunk said.
"They say Fraunhofer was the greatest glassmaker in Europe and when he died, he took all his greatest recipes to the grave with him." Matt informed the food loving Paladin.
"I want a Fraunhofer glass." Hunk said.
Matt then got something out from his cloak and showed a data pad to them. "So, check this out. This has all the relevant data from my time with the rebels. I think if we plug this info into the setup you guys have here, it might fill in the gaps. Then, we just might have the best anti-Galra intelligence mining operation in this or any other reality."
Hunk then told Matt. "This 1 time, we went to another reality. It was pretty lame."
Matt was surprised to hear that. "Wait, you what? You were in a different reality?"
Katie took the data pad. "No big deal." And plugged into the setup.
After combining Matt's data with the Galra finder, they looked through the data. "I think we've just about got it." Matt said before picking up the entire Galra forces on screen. "All right!"
"Yes!" Katie yelled while high fiving her brother and Hunk.
"This is unbelievable. We're tracking Galra fleet movements almost live." Hunk said with surprise.
"I think I know a few tweaks we can make to extend our range." Katie said.
"Hold on, Pidge." Matt stopped her.
"What's up?"
Matt looked at the smaller screen and a scrambled message. "It's a scrambled message. I've collected hundreds of them. I never track 'em."
"Let me see." Katie said before Matt swiped the data over to her screen. "I'm guessing this isn't just a simple number-for-letter swap."
"I've run these through every kind of decryption technology I can think of, and I've spent days with just the numbers and a Galra language log. Nothing." Matt said with a bit of frustration.
Hunk then thought. "Maybe they're not just words. Maybe they're just numbers."
But Katie had a different thought. "Maybe they're just a frequency."
"A quantum signal that broadcasts other frequencies to go to?" Matt asked. "It's too high. These are more than 3,000 gigahertz."
Katie began typing. "Invert it."
"What?"
"For every wave we receive, there's only partial transmittance, right?" Katie asked.
Hunk agreed with that. "Oh, right, yeah. So, we figure the transmission coefficient…"
"And tune for the frequency of the reflected waves." Matt finished before Katie finished and they began to hear Galra radio chatter, making the 3 cheer before they listened carefully.
"11th, 12th and 14th Fleet, assemble to rally point trox-lyte immediately. Engage targets at coordinates in next transmission by order of Emperor Zarkon."
Katie, Hunk and her brother were shocked at hearing that. "Zarkon is alive?" Hunk asked.
Katie then looked at the bigger screen. "Guys, look at this."
"I've never seen troop mobilization on this level before." Matt said with surprise at seeing several Galra fleets moving towards 1 direction.
"What are they attacking?" Hunk asked.
"That's just it. As far as I can tell, nothing." Katie answered. "There are no planets, no rebel ships, no Blade of Marmora bases, nothing."
A bit later, on the bridge
"Whoever they're attacking, we have to help." Allura told everyone after she and the others were told what was going on.
But Haggar had a thought. "I think I know who they're attacking: Lotor. Think about it. If Zarkon really did come out of this coma he was in, there's not a doubt in my mind that he immediately took his precious throne back from his son due to considering him weak all his life. And it's more likely he's found out what his son's been doing and wants to get rid of him…permanently."
"That…actually makes sense." Katie said. "But I think we should at least go and figure out what Zarkon found out that he wants his only son dead."
"I think they'd probably notice us." Lance said to his now girlfriend.
"Not if we're cloaked." Katie countered.
"You have cloaking? Who are you?" Matt asked with surprise at his little sister.
But Shiro was concerned. "I'm not sure it's safe for just the Green Lion."
"I'm pretty sure I can upgrade Voltron with cloaking. We could all go."
"Katie, were you waiting for your big brother to show up before you rolled that 1 out?" Lance asked with humor.
"It's something I've been working on, but I can't pilot the Green Lion and operate the cloaking at the same time." Katie explained before looking at Matt. "But if I had a co-pilot…"
"Absolutely!" Matt said with eagerness to co-pilot with his little sister.
Haggar smiled. "Let's get to the Lions."
Meanwhile, on Lotor's ship
As the still shocked Ezor and Acxa were preparing the Sincline ships to take off, they and everyone else suddenly felt a big rumble before Lotor contacted Zethrid. "What's happening?"
"It's just like you said. Galra fleets are attacking us! We can't hold them all off!" Zethrid answered as Galra cruisers began to fire on Lotor's ship!
But close by, Voltron was flying close to them. "We're getting close. Everyone, get ready."
"Go ahead. Run the cloaking system." Katie told Matt.
"Got it." Matt said before doing just that, putting the Legendary Defender in cloak mode. "Initializing cloak. I'm not sure how long we can keep this up."
"All right. 1 look and then we get out of here." Allura said before they got close and saw Lotor's ship under heavy fire.
"Zarkon really is attacking Lotor." Lance said with confusion.
"Man, Zarkon really hates his own son, doesn't he?" Hunk asked.
As Lotor's Sincline ships took off from the main ship to get away, they unknowingly passed Voltron and the Legendary Defender suddenly went uncloaked. "Uh-oh. The trails from Lotor's ship drives messed up our cloaking spectrum." Matt told everyone.
"Then let's get out of here! Hunk, use your Bayard." Haggar said.
"Right!" Hunk said before doing just that and engaging Voltron big shoulder cannon, which fired on the Galra fleets in scattering lasers that destroyed a large majority of the ships.
"That'll hold for a while. Let's get out of here while we can." Haggar said before Voltron quickly flew away from the Galra fleets.
And as Lotor's Sincline ships flew away, Acxa heard a beeping and informed Lotor. "Sir, we're picking up a transmission."
Meanwhile, in Zarkon's ship
The now restored emperor of the Galra empire to all his forces across the galaxy that was heard by Lotor and his still shocked remaining generals, the Paladins of Voltron, Dark Haggar and everyone else in the Galra Empire. "Attention, citizens of the Galra Empire: from this day forward, my son Lotor is to be regarded as a fugitive criminal of the empire. All citizens are authorized to use deadly force to stop him or any of his soldiers. I repeat. Prince Lotor is an enemy of the state. Engage with extreme prejudice. Kill on sight."
