Mary Schmidt arrived at Fredbearina's Cabaret for her 6th Night. The building was vacant, like on Day 5, and no customers, co-workers, or living human beings were inside the building. However, the building's power was on, implying that Fredbearina's Cabaret had finally gotten a new main generator, relieving Mary of her worries about using the backup generator, remembering how that event turned out on her 5th Night.

When looking around the now-stable power that flows within the building, Mary jumped slightly at the phone ringing in the Office. Feeling her adrenaline levels shoot up in her blood vessels, Mary dashed toward the Office and saw the Phone Ringing, having a message for her. Mary, though very hesitantly, grabs the Phone and answers the message. After a few long beeps, the message finally starts playing.

"Ooh, boy. I barely got out of that mess yesterday, huh? Now about the situation. I got into Charles's Office and discovered he had hidden the video evidence. I got the evidence since you couldn't do that after that nightly debacle. As far as where I put the evidence, I put it under the desk, a simple hiding place Charles Afton wouldn't even think about finding out. If you see it, grab it immediately, but don't show it to the police yet..." The Tape Recorder Guy explains the situation to Mary.

Mary immediately looked under the desk to see the videotape and grabbed it.

"I know you're wondering why we can't show the evidence to the police yet, so here's what I'll say. Charles Afton is becoming restless, even trying to find out who got into the furnace room. As far as I'm aware, he still doesn't seem to know it was you or Ernie Fitzgerald. But if Charles does know, let's say he'll take it VERY personally. And I don't want you meeting a grizzly end like his family or friend, Eric Emily." The Tape Recorder Guy tells Mary.

"So yeah, let's not show the evidence right off the bat. We must wait until Charles believes he's just being paranoid and return to his businessman personality. Hide the videotape somewhere, like in your pocket or what have you. Then, when he least expects it, everyone will know Charles Afton for what he truly is. It will be the time justice will finally be served, and Charles Afton will pay for everything he had done. See you soon!" The Tape Recorder Guy ends the message with a cheery voice.

Mary looks at the videotape before putting it in the desk drawer. Sighing in relief, Mary slumped down on the chair. So many thoughts ran through her mind as she wondered how the Tape Recorder Guy knew everything about who Charles Afton was on the inside and outside. Mary would know that getting revenge for Charles's family and friend, Eric Emily, would feel oh-so-satisfying to her.

"So, Charles... If you are a criminal, it's time that justice will be served for your crimes..." Mary muttered before falling asleep to prepare for her 6th Night.
