{ Reinforcements (Part 1) }
[ West of Eikoln ]
[ One Day Later... ]
Lis Humans were scurrying around, finding a place to hide from the dragons who were attacking the town for the third time this month.
Although the soldiers were ready and prepared, unlike the second time, a group of 1,000 dragons was a greater threat than 200.
The town was still recovering from the attack earlier, but now, it seemed pretty hopeless.
"Surrender this town to us, or die!"
An earth dragon shouted, scaring all of the Lis Humans except most of the soldiers who held on to their hopes of gaining the expected reinforcements.
"Never! We'll hold on until we die!"
A Lis Human shouted in retaliation, causing the Earth Dragon and many other dragons announcing their invasion to laugh.
But, before they attacked, several energy cannons were fired towards them, slightly wounding a few dragons in the process and annoying them.
"Fire the cannons! Don't let them through!"
A high ranking Eikolnian Soldier shouted, increasing the soldiers morale and making them hold their ground by quickly mounting the cannons.
The battle for the town has started, once again.
However, they hoped that the reinforcements would come sooner, these dragons weren't holding back anything and would take over the town under several hours.
Several hundred Lis Humans in the town were capable of fighting, and many others who cannot only hid and prayed to their god, Kayblis.
Meanwhile...
An army of 3,000 marched forward, passing through a small village, and had recently rested a few hours ago. This army had also split up from the others who were assisting the Dracorellian Army and their royalty. And due to the distance they would travel, it would take them two more days maximum and some supplies sacrificed to get near the said settlement.
They were many kilometers away from the said settlement, which can be clearly seen at this moment.
Reacting quickly, the normally marching soldiers dashed towards the town reaching superhuman speeds of 75 km/h without the need for command, and the war machines (10 of them) took their position and planted themselves on the ground and aimed at the dragons outside the town.
Their leader, Sifrit was a little surprised at this choice of preemptive, independent yet almost reckless movement, but knowing that Kayblis was involved in making up this strategy, he couldn't help but shake his head and dash towards battle, putting his gauntlet'd hand on the massive, rough edged sword's hilt on his back.
It can be said that he was aware that the dragons that were sent to capture this town were skilled, even if they're small fries.
The army of 3,000 straight up overpowered the dragons that were just around 1,000 in terms of units, being heavily trained for combat and using complete, devastatingly planned movement, most of the dragons were killed, leaving 30 alive yet heavily injured. It was also thanks to the townspeople and soldiers who assisted in the battle and we're relieved that they arrived earlier than expected. The dragons gave a decent fight, but... well, there's medium amount of causalties on the Eikolnian Lis.
In game terms, the fight is over after three turns, and your units almost fully annihilated the enemy but they are out of moves, but still having some of your units be lost through a slightly reckless action.
The army then settled on the town, awaiting a certain message of approval from the other battalions whilst protecting the town from possible attacks from the dragons.
The remaining dragons were interrogated by Sifrit, who proceeded to gain important information regarding Avel's forces, and a visor that looked like it came from either Eikoln or Dracorell. It was worn by several of the Dragons they have killed, so it was sent back to Eikoln for further investigation.
Maybe some of the researchers can know what it truly was.

In another place, the "Silver Wasp of Death" stood atop a building, observing the almost dry land beyond the town he and his brigade was tasked to guard.
They were to stay here for several days to prepare to invade enemy territory that was originally of Eikoln's, and he's feeling very pumped up right now.
"It's time I test myself against dragons."
He confidently said, yet felt like he should also get serious immediately once he fights the dragons.
Then, his eyes narrowed as he noticed for a moment that several, no, thousands of dragons from the west, presumably where one of the enemy settlements was located had started to approach the town's location at dusk.
It was at this moment that he fired a flare upwards using magic, signaling his brigade to go to their positions.
Then, he hopped off the building's roof, and landed on the asphaltic ground, brandishing the "Silver Wasp".
The town's walls had their artilleries manned and ready. It was time to defend it from Avel's forces.
