Inside earth land is the fairy tail guild, Known for its destructive members and its blatant disregard for the rules. Among these members is a new member. Lucy heartfilia is a celestial wizard and a massive fan of fairy tail and its members, Who have dreamed of joining the magic guild since she was young. And today is her first time inside the guild. As a celestial wizard, Lucy has the power to summon spirits from another world.

She was accompanied by the salamander Natsu dragneel, A wizard who used ancient magic called dragon slayer magic first used to deal with magic. Natsu was taught this by his adoptive father igneel who was a fire dragon. Even in the magical world of Fiore dragons are extremely rare creatures. And Natsu had a friend who never left his side. A magical cat called happy who had the power to grow wings and fly.

"We made it back alive!" Natsu yelled kicking open the door to fairy tail.

"We're home!" Happy yelled.

The sound's of the guild welcoming Natsu back flowed through the guild. Lucy giggled/gasped with wonder at the guild hall, Which was filled with tables and people.

"So I heard you went all out in hargeon Natsu, Had to go start trouble-" A fairy tail member with buck teeth was interrupted via a kick to the face by Natsu, causing the table they were sitting on to be destroyed His name is krov.

"Why did you do that?" Lucy squeaked shocked.

"You lied about that salamander I'm going to kick your butt!" Natsu promised furious, holding his right arm up at a right angle with his left arm holding his bicep.

"Don't get mad at me I'm not the one to blame here! I'm just passing on a rumor I heard!" Krov retorted.

"It was just a rumor?!" Natsu cried.

"You wanna fight? Let's go!" Krov challenged. Lucy meanwhile was dumbfounded. Natsu knocked away more tables and people.

"Now, now Natsu I think you need to calm dow-" Happy tried to calm it down however he was knocked back and bounced around by a fellow member like one of those pinball machines. And shortly after a massive fight ensued.

"Oh wow I'm actually standing inside the fairy tail guild hall," Lucy was astonished.

"So Natsu finally made it back huh?" Said a male known as gray Fullbuster who is a very talented wizard but he tends to uh well he has a bad habit of taking off his clothes.

"It's time we settled things once and for all" Gray huffed walking over arms out like a tuff man.

"Gray your clothes," a female at the bar reminded him.

"I don't have time for that!" Gray retorted.

The lovely lady at the bar is cana alberona, She holds the title of fairy tail's heaviest drinker.

"Oh you see I don't date the men here because they have no class," She complained before lifting an entire barrel of alcohol up to her mouth. Which utterly shocked Lucy.

"Come here and fight me Natsu!" Gray challenged.

"Not until you put some clothes on" Natsu refused.

"It's only noon and you boys are already wining like spoiled babies," A tall manly man said. This man was Elfman a muscle bond wizard who believes that all you need to solve any problem is two strong fists. Natsu and Gray turned around and in a combined work of strength punched Elfman away.

"Geez, it sure is noisy around here huh," A man with orange hair and blue glasses sighed. He is the lady killer loke, He is ranked high on the most eligible wizard bachelors list. However, he had two women on either side of him. An empty glass bottle slammed into his head annoying the 'Bachelor'. "I'm going to go fight only to protect you two," He shot them a thumb up.

"He's definitely off my list" Lucy sighed crossing loke off what looks like a dating book, "What the heck is wrong with these people? There's not one sane person In this whole place" She remarked.

"Hello, Are you new here?" Asked a feminine voice. Lucy turned around and gasped in a fan-girl way.

"It's mirajane!" Lucy shrieked "In the flesh!". Mirajane is a beautiful wizard known for her bikini-clad photo spreads in sorcerer weekly magazine she's currently an employee at fairy tail.

"Don't you think we should try and stop them or something?" Lucy asked one hand over her mouth.

"It's always like this around here we just leave them alone, Besides-" Mirajane was suddenly cut off by a flying Elfman. "It's kinda fun don't you think? Bleh," Mirajane then seemed to have her soul fly out of her body.

"AHH! Don't die mirajane!" Lucy screamed before being knocked back by a gray fullbuster who was missing his underwear.

"Give me back my underwear jerk!" Gray growled.

"Excuse me miss can I please borrow your underwear," Gray asked totally and completely bluntly.

"As if!" Lucy knocked gray away with a piece of wood.

"These guys are so insensitive A woman has needs-" Loke said scooping lucy up before being punched up by Elfman.

"Real men speak with their fists, little geek!" He announced before being kicked away by Natsu.

"I told you to butt out!" Natsu said.

"Aye.." Happy sighed.

"Uhh it's so loud, So much for having a drink to relax, That's enough you guys I suggest you knock it off" Cana warned pulling out a card.

"Oh yeah? Say's who!" Gray challenged pulling his hands to his side as icy magic emitted.

"AHHHH!" Elfman roared as his fist was surrounded by stone.

"You punks can be such a nuisance" Loke complained holding his hands to his nether region while a ring emitted magic.

"I'm ready for ya!" Natsu challenged lighting his fists aflame.

"Do they always fight like this" Lucy whimpered holding happy up like a shield.

"Uh-huh," Happy confirmed.

"You don't seem worried" lucy shivered.

"Excuse me everyone," Called out a weak and small voice. The voice seemed to catch the attention of everyone.

"But the master is here," The voice belonged to the other barkeep of fairy tail and one of Mirajanes consent coworkers.

"WOULD YOU FOOL'S STOP BICKERING LIKE CHILDREN?" A loud voice boomed which belonged to a giant of a man.

"He's huge!" Lucy exclaimed in fright as everyone else ceased the fight some even mid-suplex.

"Why I'm sorry I didn't know you were still here master," Mirajane apologized.

"Yes, I too am sorry I didn't mention it sooner," The male voice apologized to the master. His voice didn't seem to belong here.

"DID you say, master?" Lucy said catching on to what mirajane was saying ignoring the small man.

"Ha ha ha ha ha! Man talk about a bunch of baby's look's like I won this round you guy-" Natsu was cut short by the giant putting his foot down literally on Natsu.

"Well seem's we've a new recruit!" The giant noticed.

"Yes sir," Lucy whimpered. The giant began to roar with power and suddenly shrunk to a familiar face.

"Nice to meet ya," Makarov greeted happily still wearing the same clothes he did the day he meet Escanor.

"He's so tiny this little guy is really in charge here?" Lucy gasped.

"Of course, he is allow me to introduce you to the fairy tail guild master Makarov," Mirajane introduced happily. Makarov jumped up and then proceeded to hit his head on the railing of the next floor of the guild hall.

"You've gone and done it again you bunch of clods!" Makarov scolded from the railing of the second floor, He then held out a piece of paper, or rather 20 pieces of paper. "Just look at all the paperwork the magic council sent me this time, This is the biggest pile of paperwork yet". The magic council monitors the magic guilds over Fiore. "Have you lost your minds, All you kids are good for is getting the higher-ups mad at me! However (The pieces of paper were set alight) I say to heck with the magic council," He threw the flaming paper to the side and Natsu leaped at it with an ohm sound, As a fire dragon slayer he can eat fire. "Now listen up any power that surpasses reason still comes from reason right? Magic isn't some kind of miraculous power, It is a talent that only works when the flow of energy inside of us, And the flow of energy in the natural world are in perfect synchronization. To perform magic one must have a strong mind and the ability to focus. It should take over your being and come pouring out of your soul. If all we do is worry about following rules then our magic will never progress, Don't let those blowhards on the council scare you follow the path you believe in. Cause that's what makes the fairy tail guild number one!" With that Makarov lifted his hand in the air while lifting his index finger. His speech caused an outbreak and the guild went wild copying the guild master.

"There! now you're an official member of the fairy tail guild" Mirajane smiled as the mark of fairy tail was imprinted on lucy's hand. While lucy smiled someone accidentally bumped into her.

"Hey! Watch it" Lucy wasn't thrilled that this special event was interrupted.

"Sorry sorry, Excuse me for being born!" The boy begged her.

"Uhh okay?" Lucy tilted her head confused about him. She didn't recognize him from anywhere. "Who's he?" She asked mirajane leaning over.

"Oh, he's escanor! He isn't usually like this but he's more of a pushover with strangers," Mirajane smiled.

"Is he part of the guild?" Lucy asked.

"No, he's tried before though. But strangely any magic he tries he never pursues. Or he can't seem to get ahold of it properly. So instead he works as a barkeep here," Cana answered, "Speaking of one drink please!".

"Coming right up miss cana," Escanor walked over and rolled away cana's big barrel. Then returned a few seconds later with another one.

"Thanks," She said before downing the new alcohol. Lucy then looked back at her hand and excitement won again as she rushed over to Natsu.

" Look Natsu mirajane just put the official mark of fairy tail on my hand," She said joy in every fiber.

"Okay that's cool welcome to the guild loony" Natsu replied disinterestedly.

"The name's lucy!" She snapped back. Natsu stood before the request board which showed jobs that any wizard can pick that are listed. Each presents a different pay rate and adventure.

"Woah 160 jewel to get rid of some thieves" Natsu exclaimed.

"Sounds good," Happy agreed.

"How come my dad hasn't come back yet?" asked a boy.

"You're starting to work my nerves, Romeo, You're a wizard's son have faith in your father and wait patiently for him," Makarov sighed.

"But sir he told me he'd be back in three days and he's been gone for over a week now!" Romeo whined.

"Didn't he take the job on Mt. Hakobe, Gramps?" Escanor asked. Just like others of the guild escanor had taken a liking to the old master of the guild and referred to him as such.

"That's right and it's not that far from here so why won't somebody go look for him?" Romeo begged.

"Listen kid your old man's a wizard and like every other wizard in this guild he can take care of himself. Now go home have some milk and cookies and wait!" Makarov snapped.

"JERK!" Romeo clenched his fist and punched the master back, Then ran off crying and yelled "I hate you all!". Escanor watched this and felt something welling inside of him.

"That's gotta be tough," Lucy remarked.

"I know it sound's like the master doesn't care, But he really is worried," Mirajane answered. Natsu suddenly slammed the job request he had into the board.

"What do you think you're doing you almost broke the board Natsu," Nab lasaro a guild member who never leaves the request board."This doesn't look, good master, You know how he can be. I bet he's going up to Mt. Hakobe to save Macao," He continued.

"When is that kid ever going to grow up?" Krov sighed.

"Who knows? Going after Macao isn't going to do anything except hurt his pride," Nab scratched the back of his head. At those words, Escanor looked up.

"Pride..." Escanor whispered. He watched Natsu leave and had a mental fight. He could go with Natsu and help save Macao. Or he could stay here. He knew that soon sunshine would reappear, And he wanted to use it for a good cause.

"Remember nab. We can't choose another's path. Just leave him be." Makarov replied.

"Why did Natsu get so upset?" Lucy wondered.

"Probably because he and Romeo have a lot in common, I think he sees himself in Romeo. Just because we're members of fairy tail doesn't mean we don't have our own personal issues. We've all had our fair share of suffering and loss," Mirajane revealed.

"Excuse me, Has Natsu ever told you about Igneel?" Escanor asked.

"Yeah isn't he the dragon who trained him?" Lucy answered curious as to where this was going.

"He wasn't just his trainer, Igneel was like a father to him. But one day the years ago he disappeared, On July 7, X777" Mirajane corrected "He lives for the day he'll be reunited with him. It's cute don't you think?" She continued.

Lucy than with some sort of drive stood up and chased after Natsu and Happy. However, they weren't alone.

"Excuse me, But I would like to go with them. I would like to help Macao too" Escanor requested.

"Natsu is bad enough but escanor you are even worse! If Natsu would hurt his pride then you'll destroy it. Just stay here bar-keep," Krov shook his head. However it was no use Escanor had already begun to leave.

"Hey escanor where do you think you're going?" Loke asked putting his hand on escanors shoulder.

"Please don't try to stop me loke, I want to do this," Escanor despite his small size and normal attitude stood up.

"Loke let him go," Makarov called out. Escanor was known for being a push-over, So the fact that for once in his life he wasn't going to budge, well It caused makarov to trust in Natsu.

(Time skip Happy's pov)

"ugh why'd you come with us" Natsu groaned.

"I thought maybe I could help," Lucy admitted, "wow you really do have a serious case of motion sickness don't you? Just another reason to feel sorry for you." She shook her head.

"Eh? Whats that supposed to mean?" Natsu groaned.

"Oh nothing, Forget I said anything," Lucy said.

"Poor Natsu. Your motion sickness is too bad, Would a pillow help?" Escanor asked.

"Uhh escanor why did you come along again?" Lucy asked confused.

"I wanted to help you all," Escanor replied smiling "Is it okay if I want to help my friends?" He asked starting to lose what minuscule confidence he had.

"No no it's okay! It's just I thought you didn't have any magic. Do you even fight? Or even know how to?" Lucy asked curious.

"Aye! Do you Escanor do you do you?" I asked excited.

"Well it might be a surprise but I do. Well I used to fight," Escanor replied seemingly lost in memory. But that didn't make sense after all escanor had been with us since he was five years old. Suddenly the cart rocked a little.

"I guess we're there," lucy commented.

"ALL RIGHT WE'VE STOPPED MOVING!" Natsu roared. Dancing besides him I giggled.

(Escanor's pov)

"Oh dear, I might catch a cold in this weather," I shivered.

"Where the heck are we Natsu?" Lucy asked "It's a frozen wasteland!" She cried.

"I brought some blanket's if you want one?" I offered her my blanket. She looked at it for a second before shaking her head smiling. "Thanks escanor!" She was quite quick to accept my blanket.

"Why is it so cold? I know we're on a mountain but its summer right now. There shouldn't be a blizzard anywhere!" She complained.

"Well what about escanor? He has no blanket at all! Thanks to you" Natsu huffed.

"It's okay, I'll manage somehow" I smiled shivering.

"Wow look at him he's blue!" Happy remarked. Natsu jumped then looked at me.

"Jeez! Fire dragon roar!" He yelled blasting fire all over me.

"NATSU You'll cook him!" Lucy yelled before muttering "but it's so warm".

The fire disappeared from my vision and I looked down at my hand. Surprised to see it was once again a warm pink.

"There can't have you dying on me escanor," Natsu smiled.

"Maybe next time don't blast him with fire idiot!" Lucy scolded "And hand over your blanket! Oh I know!" Lucy then brought out a some strange silver key.

"Open gate of the clock constelation! Horologium" She waved the key around before sticking it into the ground. A strange spirit appeared around her that looked like a talking grandfather clock.

"Oh my what impressive magic! It's similar to Lady erzas magic as well," I commented.

"Erza? well I guess it is," Natsu thought to himself before shrugging.

"Horologium was it? Are you a spirit?" I asked curious.

"Yes he is, she answer's" Horologium answered.

"Excuse me?" I asked curious as to what was happening.

" Horologium has a nasty habit of repeating whatever I say, She reveal's" Horologium said.

"Increadible, You truly are a powerful wizard Miss lucy," I smiled.

"Any way what kind of crazy job would force Macao to come to a place like this? She inquires" Horologium inquires.

"You should have asked that before you came with us, And give escanor one of those blankets!" Natsu roar's, "Anyway he went to go slay a vulcan it's a big monster".

"Oh my it truly isn't needed Natsu," I repeated.

"I want to go back to the guild, She proclaims" Horologium proclaims.

"Well be my guest I say back" Natsu huffs.

"Aye!" Happy agree's.

"Wait for me!" I call rushing after Natsu.

"Macao where are you!" Natsu yelled.

"Macao!" Happy also yelled.

I raised my hands to call out as well but before I could. A monster jumped down, A big white scary monster.

"It's a big vulcan!" Happy exclaimed. I turned and ran over to Horologium hiding behind him. The vulcan ran over as well.

"Me like human women" The vulcan grinned pervertedly. As the Vulcan rushed off I grapped onto Horologium.

"Don't just stand there hurry up and save me, She yells furiously." Horologium however seemed perfectly calm.

Somehow I managed to remain hidden ontop of Horologium the entire time. This Vulcan is truly a terrifying monster.

"How did I get myself into this mess, And what's with this giant monkey? Why is he so excited? She ask's tearfully" Horologium repeats.

"Woman!" The Vulcan simply say's.

"Excuse me but would you mind letting us go?" I request. The Vulcan turned around and stared at me. "Go?" The vulcan wonders.

"Where'd you go Horologium don't you disappear on me!" Lucy squeals now defenceless. The vulcan turns all attention back at Lucy.

"Sorry but my time is up take care," Horologium say's.

"Give me an extension please!" Lucy begs as the Vulcan seem's very alive...

"Hey you big ape! Where's Macao! Tell me!" Natsu roared as he ran in and slipped.

"Sir Natsu! I'm so happy you're here!" I cried, As natsu slipped over and past me and then Lucy.

"Woah that wasn't cool. Why does he think he has to make an entrance all the time?" Lucy wonder's.

"Spill it monkey where is my friend?" Natsu ask's as both I and Lucy hide behind him, "You understand me right? He's a human man. Now tell me where he is!" Natsu Requested not very kindly.

"Man?" The Vulcan wonder's.

"That's right, Where are you hiding him!" Natsu demands.

"Don't you think you might be jumping to conclusions?" Lucy asked worried.

"Man!" The Vulcan gestertered.

"Hey I think he's going to show me!" Natsu rushed over to where the vulcan was pointing. A exit from the cave. "Macao Woah moonkkkeeyyyy" I heard natsu yelling.

"Natsu!" Lucy yelled.

"No like man me like woman!" The monkey proclaims followed by some monkey noises.

"This is bad new's, He can't survive out there, Natsu!" Lucy screamed.

"Woman woman woman" The beast chanted.

"All right you pervy monkey-"

"How dare you hurt natsu!" I yelled charging at the monkey.

"Escanor! Stay back!" Lucy yelled as I saw a white hand back hand me into the wall, And it all went dark.

(Time skip no pov)

"Now let's go home your boy's waiting for ya" Natsu smiled, At Macao, and lying beside him was Escanor.

"Woman Woman Woman Woman Woman Woman!" Multiple voices were heard chanting.

"Huh, what's going on!" Lucy yelped turning around to see a horde of Vulcans.

"Eek! Theirs even more of them!" Lucy squealed.

"There's thirty of them!" Happy exclaimed.

"Don't worry just leave them to me!" Natsu grinned. Suddenly the room's temperature started to heat up.

"Allow me to handle this matter" A deep voice announced.

"huh who said that?" Happy looked around confused.

"What the!" Macao screamed looking besides him.

"Oh no is escanor okay?!" Natsu yelled.

"On the contrary my friend I am feeling better than I have In a Long time" Escanor Laughed.

"Escanor?" Lucy gasped.

Escanor turned and stared at the horde of Vulcan's.

" For these monsters to ignore me is such arrogance," Escanor huffed before walking towards the swarm of monsters.

"Now taste my magical power, Monsters of ice and thieves of bodies, For you are the perfect fool's to test it upon once more," Escanor asserted.

"Escanor! No matter what kind of power-up you have you can't beat them! Let me handle it!" Natsu started to get up ready to fight.

" Do you truly believe I tell lies? Or do you wish to face me yourself? Decide quickly Natsu " Escanor's face didn't show any sign of fear or the person he once was.

" As for you monsters, you face me, Run and you might have a chance to see tomorrow" Escanor's words were like iron as one of the fastest Vulcans rushed up and punched him. " I feel insulted that you believe you stand a chance against me. Perhaps you do wish death upon yourself and your fellows," Escanor glared down at the Vulcan who seemed to have a broken hand.

Escanor lifted up one finger as the Vulcan's backed away. A massive amount of heat arose from around him as a bright light appeared on his finger. " You should pray your death is painless, Cruel sun ".

The power that followed broke the top of the mountain in pure power. As escanor was seen standing there above the bodies of all the monsters.

" For I am the lion sin of pride escanor" He announced standing above many.

Escanor has returned so how will fairy tail react?
