"When you were out for revenge, you become a hero. When I want revenge, I become the villain, that doesn't seem fair." She said.

Jade was shoving her books in the locker violently when she felt a hand on her shoulders.
She quickly spun around and grabbed the hand.
"What?" she hissed.
Tori smiled.
"I know why you are mad. Cause you got detention because of me." Tori said.
"I didn't get it because of you, I got it cause Lane doesn't believe in 'justice'. " Jade replied.
"Come on Jade, I told you it was no deal, you didn't have to do that to him."
"Why shouldn't I? That son of a.."
"Language!" Tori interrupted.
"That son of a female dog wanted to take credit for all your work. I had to teach him a lesson."
"Come on Jade, revenge isn't the way. There are other things that can give you peace."
"Things or someone?" Jade smirked.
"Maybe.. someone." Tori smiled.
Tori closes the gap to kiss Jade but Jade puts a finger on her lips.
"Not now love, detention starts in 5 minutes."
"Fine" Tori whined. "But we are making out at the cabin after that."

"Ghost, you are the best of us, No matter how hard I fight, I can't defeat you," Tori said tiredly after getting beaten by Ghost for the umpteenth time while sparring.
"There is nothing more poisonous than "I can't", you can if you believe, even if all of heaven or hell are allied against you, You can. Understand?"
Tori nodded.
"So take your stance." Ghost ordered.
Tori thinks about how Ghost has beaten her all this time, she has been too aggressive. This time, however, she opened her palm rather than clenching a fist and waited for him to attack.
Ghost noticed the sudden change,
'He always starts with a punch.' She thinks,
Tori dodges his first punch by backing away. She goes even back dodging another one of his attacks.
"I have to make him do the move I want him to do." She thinks again.
She continues to throw punches, but Ghost deflects them with ease. When she didn't stop, Ghost knew he had to stop her, so he executed a perfectly timed move that had previously worked brilliantly. He kicked her knees and did a flip kick, but when he did so, he didn't feel his foot connecting with Tori's head, all he felt was getting hit in the leg as soon as he landed after the spin. He got up in an instant in a fighting stance.
"Hey! The rule is to stay down when you are downed!" Tori said.
"Sorry, wasn't expecting that. You were fighting aggressively to make me do exactly what you wanted me to do. Huh?" Ghost asked,
"Yep, and can't believe you fell for it!" Tori said.
"Well, I was going easy on you." He said chuckling.
"Yeah, totally believe that, doing a freaking flip kick is "going easy". I thought you would do some simple high attacks or something. Do you know how much it would have hurt if that got me?" Tori whined.
"I had to do that to teach you a lesson for fighting too aggressive." Ghost said.
"At least I defeated you once, can brag about that to the team."
Ghost chuckled.
"Come on, Alex and Farah are here, time for the prep." He said.

"The more things change, the more they stay the same. Boundaries shift, new players step in, but power always finds a place to rest its head. We thought we ended the war, but it wasn't over. We take down one enemy, and they find someone even worse to replace him.
Our mistake was thinking it was over. That cost us our loved ones. I know you have paid your duty, I know what I am asking you is already more than you can give. But this fight is our fight. Every fight is our fight. Because what happens over here, matters over there. We don't get to sit one out. We can't get the freedom we want. But we have the ultimate weapon. We have a team. And that is worth more than a whole army base of steel." Ghost finished.
"Let's get to work." He said.
"These are our next targets," John said.
"Sounds like we gotta be in two places at once," Helena said.
"Impossible?" Ghost asked.
"Not for the One Four One" Roach smirked.
"Ghost, permission to take the safehouse with John and Farah," Alex said.
"Granted." Ghost said.
"Tori, we are going back to Los Angeles, where it all started."
Tori took a deep breath.

Jade and Tori are walking towards the massive yew tree on the other side of the lake.
"Jade. I am sorry."
"For what?" Jade asked.
"You know, you always tell me how bad you feel now for all those times you insulted me. But even if you did, some of those times it actually was my fault. Like kissing Beck on the alphabet improv, I kinda did that to hurt you cause of the "dumping coffee" incident. And for taking the roles you wanted in the plays, and for replacing your play with my prome. And…"
before Tori could go on any longer she was interrupted by Jade's lips on her own.
"Vega, you know me, if I had held a grudge for those things, you would have been 6 feet underground now," Jade smirked.
"Were you actually going to bury me that day you gave me a ride to school?"
"Some questions should be left unanswered Vega, for the plot," Jade whispered.
"Anyway, So why these sudden apologies?" she asked.
"I just feel scared."
"Of me?"
"No, of me."
"Huh?"
" I just am scared that one day, one of my mistakes is gonna cost me losing you."
Jade took her lover's hand.
"Tori… Do you know why I am with you? Because I was never whole without you anyway. Whenever I was hurt I found myself at your doorstep, you made me feel safe. You made me feel like there was somebody who cared about me no matter how much of a shitty person I am. When you wrapped your arms around me while I was crying after my breakup with Beck, I felt whole again, I finally understood that Beck wasn't the only one who cared about me. The person I was looking for was right beside me the whole time. I felt something for you way before you asked me out. I was just an idiot who couldn't realize that feeling was love. So Never ever think that I would leave you, Tori. I am not "The Jade West" without you."
"Oh, Jade…" Tori looked at the raven-haired beauty, her eyes, so many emotions in those blue-green eyes. The reason she fell for Jade in the first place, Jade's soft side, the side she showed only to the ones she trusted.
"Jade, love. Are we gonna be what we are now always?"
"Yes, only if you believe in us. No matter how different we are, we can make it work if we have hope."

July 4th 2014
Tori and Ghost are on a rooftop, looking at the target building as the fireworks are launched, helicopters fly nearby.
"Target Helicopters entering the area," Helena said.
"Roger that. Proceed to overwatch position 1-3 to confirm id on Makarov." Ghost ordered.
Tori followed.
"Chopper's landing, confirming visual ID. Prepare to receive optical feed." Tori said.
"Copy, actual. Receiving transmission. Cleaning up the signal." Roach said.
Tori zooms in on the Scanner, scans the person who she thinks is Makarov.
"Receiving data. Standby." Roach said,
"Target confirmed. The mission is a go." Roach radioed in.
"John, Do you read me?" Ghost said.
"Loud and clear." John's reply came in.
"Makarov's here. So you are clear for "shoot to kill" on the safe house."
"That's why I love the Ghost," Alex said.
"We will sweep through to get any intel we can about the shadow company," John said.
"Solid copy. On me Wraith." Ghost commands.
"Set up your launcher and check your chutes for exfil." Tori does so.
"Ready," Tori said,
Ghost fires his zipline, Tori does shortly after,
"Hook up."
Tori hooks up to the zipline,
"Go." They slid down the zipline to the roof of the target building.
They started rappelling down the building, clearing floor by floor.

"4 tangos right below you."
"Roger that."
One man was using a laptop in another room.
"Guy at the table. Take him out." Tori pulls out her suppressed Vector and shoots the guy in the head.
"Good. Shift right. Let's take care of the other three.."
"Two men at the poker table. We will take care of those two, the other has a helmet, Revenant, confirm visual on him."
"Affirmative." Helena answers.
"Take the one on the left Wraith, I will take the right one, Revenant, On my mark, take down the armoured one."
"On you Wraith."
Tori aims at the one Ghost told her to, fires a clean headshot, Ghost takes the right one as soon as she fired. The armored guard turned around but his head was blown by a bullet from a Remington USR sniper.
"Nice shot, You still got it, Revenant." Ghost praised.
"Well I learned from the best Ghost," Helena said.
Ghost takes out his glass cutter and cuts the glass, the duo get in.
They go to the power room.
"Patch in. Upload the virus." Ghost orders.
Tori begins the virus upload. They hear faint voices.
"Tangos coming. Finish up." Ghost said.
"Almost done," Tori replies.
The guards were almost at the door when Tori finishes the upload.

They hide in the dark. Two guards pass right by them. Ghost takes out one guard, Tori stabs the other one in the neck.
"Nicely done." Ghost said.
They get back to the ropes and hook up again.
They go 2 floors down.
They spot an enemy on the balcony.
"One right below you. Move above him. We'll do this quietly." Tori moves right above the guard.
"Alright, take him out." Ghost ordered.
Tori drops and kills the guard. Two guards notice and rush towards her. She throws her knife at one of them, Ghost descends and strangles the other.
"Shut down the elevators, seal off his chance to bolt." Ghost said.
"Roger that," Roach replied.
They move inside the building. They spot two guards. Tori shoots both.
"Clear." She said.
"Leave some for me too, yeh?" Ghost said.
They keep moving, they enter a room where guards are watching the fireworks through the window.
"Que fuegos artificiales. (Those are great fireworks.)" one guard said.
"Uf, hacen que extrañe mi casa. En una semana pediré permiso, estoy deseando volver. (They make me miss home. In a week I'm gonna ask for vacations, I feel like going back.)".
"I count five tangos ahead," Tori said.
"Helena. Confirm clear visual on them."
"Negative, you are on your own in this one," Helena replied.
"Roger that, Roach, you are up, kill the lights." Ghost ordered.
Roach follows as the room darkens.
"¿Qué pasó con las luces? (What happened to the lights?) one guard said,
He heard a whimper and a thud noise.
"¿Tipo? (Guys?)" He yelled. No reply came in. Another firework goes off as the room illuminates for a moment, he sees what was taking down his squad. He screamed in fear. Before one of them charged towards him, grabbed his neck, and strangled him.
"Clear." Ghost said.
Tori pulls out the knife from a guard's neck.
"Let's get moving." She said.
They move through the hallway, approaching the main office. There were two guards outside, guard it, they take them out. They set breaching charges on the door and wait for a firework to hide their noise, and as soon as Ghost notices a firework he sets off the charges.
The door was blown to pieces, Makarov was surprised. He was about to call in the guards but Ghost threw a knife at his arm. He groans in pain as Ghost goes to him, pulls out the knife, and slams him onto the table. Makarov groaned in pain again.
"He knew you would come," he said.
The television turns on and Tori looks at the masked man who appears on the television.
"Well, well, well, if it ain't the walking dead."
Templar.
Tori looks at the one who killed her Jade. Rage fills her eyes.
"Looks like you have started to work with a team." He said.
Ghost signals Tori to stay silent.
"Good for me now, I can have more fun killing you now."
He takes a detonator in his hand.
"You see, people think you are a hero, now, when this building falls, they will know what kind of hero you are."
He clicks the detonator as explosions are heard all around the building. The building starts to rumble violently.
"See you in Hell, Ghosts." He said as the TV turns off.
"It was a set-up. Let's move." Ghost says as he puts a bullet in Makarov's head.
"Nikolai the mission is compromised! Attempting an aerial exfil from the 52nd floor." He yelled.
"Copy, Ghost. Prepping emergency team for your new rally point"
They move through the ongoing wreckage.
" We need to find a window before the whole damn place comes down!" Ghost yelled.
"Windows ahead," Tori said.
"Copy we can jump from there! Get to the window!" Ghost ordered.
As the duo moves to the window, the building begins to collapse and leans sideways.
"Prepare your chutes! It's going down!" Ghost yelled as the building collapses more.
"Watch out!" He yelled as the building leans to the point it is almost horizontal. They are sliding through the floor.
"Ready your chute!" Ghost said as he sprays the window in front of them with bullets to break it. They fall through the window and open their parachutes.
"Nikolai we're airborne! En route to rally point echo." Ghost said.

Tori looks back at the building as it falls. She grits her teeth as anger overcomes her.
"So many innocent lives are gonna be lost. This will not go unanswered. I will make them pay, When the time comes, I will be the one to kill the Templar."
